Absolute perfection

We hired Taste for our September 2023 wedding and WOW did they show up! We were originally supposed to get married at the Chrysler Museum which is how we found out about Taste since they are the exclusive caterer there. Lauren took over our event about nine months out after some personnel changes and did so without missing a beat. She was so thorough with her proposal and so genuinely excited for our big day. Two days before our wedding, we found out a tropical storm was going to cause the Chrysler to close and we had to find a new venue. Lauren and the rest of the Taste team packed everything up and headed to The Water Table in Virginia Beach like it was no big deal. From the room setups, to cocktail hour, to dinner and beyond - our guests could not stop talking about how great the service was. We were sent home with boxes of the most delicious food and a special surprise gift which was the perfect way to end the day. We would hire Taste all over again!

My husband and I worked with Lauren from Taste, and she was an absolute gem to work with. She was so responsive and on top of everything, and made the process so easy for us! She was also so flexible with catering to our wants and needs. The tastings were absolutely amazing and they always went above and beyond. We truly feel like you get your money's worth with Taste and would recommend it 1000x over!!

The food was delicious!!!

Phenomenal service both from the behind the scenes planners who handled a several serious dietary requirements, but also from the day of servers and bartender. The food was amazing especially the beef and cocktail hour appetizers. Everyone at my wedding loved how attentive the service was and how well they handled on the fly requests, the bartender was especially great and I am sad I didnt get his name to shout him out personally! Thank you to Liz for her amazing coordinating behind the scenes it was amazing working with the entire Taste team!

Best catering for the best day!

We can’t say enough good things about the team at TASTE who catered our wedding! The food was fantastic, no surprise there; we love their brick-and-mortar stores in Newport News and Norfolk, and we had done a tasting at their catering and events location in Virginia Beach. We were delighted to have a delicious menu with several options that satisfied everyone, from the meat eaters in our group to our vegetarian and vegan and gluten-free guests. The service was equally if not more impressive. We felt completely tended to throughout our cocktail hour, dinner, and dance party. Liz’s team made sure we actually got to enjoy our menu – bringing us drinks immediately after the ceremony, sending hors d’oeuvres to the dressing rooms between the ceremony and our photography session so we wouldn’t miss out on the cocktail hour goodies, serving us a little of everything at dinner and making sure the food at our sweetheart table always at temp while we got up and down to meet our various, etc. We were completely taken care of and it made us feel so special. They were also flexible, making last-minute changes to the seating arrangement. From start to finish, TASTE was perfect. Well worth the cost.

Above and beyond catering!

My husband and I couldn’t have been happier in having Taste cater our wedding. They were within our budget, and the quality of food and service were beyond what we could have imagined. Liz was so helpful in promptly answering any questions we had and worked with us tirelessly to ensure that our menu was everything we wanted it to be. She made sure we had things taken care of that we didn’t even think of! During our tasting, we had a few notes on the food selection, and were so happy with how the food, decor, and set up of our wedding turned out. We’ve had so many guests tell us that the desserts and late night snacks served by Taste were absolutely delicious, and all the servers and bartenders were so kind and worked so hard the entire night. We’re so grateful to have had the pleasure of working with Liz, who helped make us feel truly valued throughout the entire planning process.

Fantastic Food and Service

Want to start by saying that because we chose The Chrysler Museum of Art, we were required to use TASTE Catering. All that said, we are so glad that we worked with them. From food to service, we can not speak higher of this company. They truly made our wedding and reception a memorable one. Because TASTE has an exclusive contract with The Chrysler, they are very involved throughout the entire process from seating, linens, silverware, plating, napkins, and the bar. Their team is integral in doing the flip between your ceremony and your reception if you so choose to do both at The Chrysler. TASTE does a fantastic job of crafting and tailoring the menu for both your cocktail hour and reception specifically to your vision. They are extremely flexible and willing to incorporate unique dishes and appetizers into your event. Once you have crafted your menu and gotten your quote, they will invite you to do a tasting at their headquarters to pick your final choices and make any changes to the dishes and appetizers. A highlight of ours was the ability to provide fun appetizers and amazing vegan items for our vegan guests. Additionally, they give you the option to do an open bar with them or you can provide own your alcohol as they provide the bartenders and mixers as part of your quote. Overall, we can not thank them enough for all the care they put into making our event an amazing one. We want to shout out to their wedding coordinator Lauren. She is amazing and is willing to do whatever she can to help make this your dream wedding!

Everything was Perfect!

We can't say enough about the wonderful experience working with Taste catering for our wedding in Virginia Beach. We held a small (micro) ceremony at an Airbnb on the beach, and Taste provided a magical dinner experience for our special day. The meals created were perfectly executed, being in a new kitchen, which they blocked off from the dinner area. As foodies, we were very happy with the variety of plates to choose from, each with a great balance in variety of taste and texture. We were treated to a lovely tasting to choose from five dishes on their inviting office space.

Even above the quality of the prepared dishes was the service provided. Everything from the initial communication, to the planning, tasting, and of course the meal itself was exceptional.

A special shout out to Doug, Randy, John, Brian, and Calvin for making us feel like we were dining at the White House! You guys rocked! Special thanks to Liz, as well, for being such an understanding event manager. It was such a pleasure to work with all!

It's clear this company really gets catering, especially for weddings, and there's so much thought and effort that's put into their services. Highly recommend!

Impressive from Start to Finish

TASTE went above and beyond our expectations. From start to finish, TASTE was extremely helpful, kind, and always available for whatever questions or extra rentals we needed. Prior to the wedding, they assisted with all our rental needs and kept me informed every step of the way. Even when we hit some speed bumps (like not being able to rent the original archway we wanted), they provided a number of alternatives and solutions to those bumps. During the wedding, the wait staff were extremely responsive and supportive. Everyone was so nice and kind - and the food was AMAZING. Our guests repeatedly told us how incredible the food was (during and after the wedding). We were really pleased with them and recommend them to any future bride/groom.

The Best Catering Company in Hampton Roads

Our wedding was at The Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, VA on August 20th 2022. We had started to plan our wedding April of 2021 so we had a lot of time to plan and pay for everything before the wedding. Taste was our first choice on the vendor list and we were so thankful for them because right from the get go they were able to help break down the pricing, helping us pick out our food for our guest, the taste testing was absolutely amazing as well!

Our wedding was completely taken care of as they took care of changing over the venue from the ceremony to the reception and catered to all of our guest very professionally. I know all of our guest were highly impressed by them as made the change over look effortless and really took care of us all night long as the wedding couple making plates and getting drinks for us. Not to mention making plates for later and packing all of our leftovers and we really didn’t have to do anything. They took care of our bars and had very professional bar tenders make all of our drinks for all of our guest.

I will say you have to book Taste (and work with Amanda she’s the best) for your wedding. We had 103 guest attend and everyone complimented us about the quality of the food served, drinks and service they received as our guest.

Highly Recommend!

We worked with Taste Catering for our June 2022 wedding and they were amazing! Everyone we worked with was super responsive and helpful, and I have to give a special shout out to Amanda for being so on top of everything leading up to the wedding and on the day of. We had to make several changes due to rescheduling our wedding twice, and they were accommodating through the whole process. The food and service were great, and I highly recommend working with them for your event!

Wonderful catering experience

We chose Taste Catering for our May 2022 wedding and we were so pleased with the quality of service we received. Perfection and excellence!!

Just, WOW. Amanda (you MUST request her as POC) makes you feel like a million dollars and you are her only customer. Her attention to detail and professionalism were off the charts, and we have been through 3 weddings now. And the food and catering service was incredible. Our daughter opted for an all vegan plant based menu. My husband and I were skeptical at first, but the tasting was amazing and we were so pleased. 5 stars!!!

If I could give 10 stars I would!

Jen Gaughan and the team at Cuisine and Co were absolutely amazing! Catering from our garage for our daughter’s wedding in our backyard, they somehow made everyone feel as if they were dining in a 5-star restaurant! Every bite, from the passed hors d’oeuvres, to plated dinner and homemade ice cream sandwiches was delicious! Jen not only managed the team to create such delicious food, along with our wedding planner, she coordinated all of our rentals – which was an extensive list since this was in our backyard! We needed everything and she was able to get it all here! We can’t thank Jen and her team enough for helping to create our daughter’s perfect wedding day!

Amazing Food and Incredible People

Jen and her team at Cuisine and Company played a huge role in our wedding at the Chrysler Museum! Jen worked tirelessly to help us put together the perfect menu. We leaned on her for advice on everything from drinks to tablecloths. On the day of the wedding, Jen and her team were so attentive. The ceremony and reception were both held in Huber Court, and I’m still in disbelief how quickly and flawlessly they transformed the space! To top it all off, the food was amazing! Cuisine and Company was Awesome!

We used Cuisine and Company to cater our daughter’s wedding last weekend in Sandbridge Beach. I cannot say enough about Jen Gaughan, the Coordinator, and her entire crew that worked at the wedding. Jen came out the day before to ensure everything would be perfect. She handled every detail of how many plates, glasses, silverware, tables, etc. we needed. Everything was delivered a day before the wedding and was picked up the Monday after the wedding.
The food was prepared on site and was delicious! Some of our favorites were the Crispy Asparagus Spears, Piquant Chicken, Bourbon & Brown Sugar Beef Tenders, and Mini Twice Baked Potatoes. They handled every detail for us, helped set up the beach wedding, and even took down the pergola we had set up so we could enjoy the after wedding festivities.
The staff was so helpful and professional in everything they did. The serving of the food at the tables around the pool was spectacular and they promptly refilled the hot food as needed. We worried about nothing and if we did, Cuisine and Company had already thought of it and fixed it.
If you have an event that you need a caterer, Cuisine and Company is the way to go!

Best wedding food ever!

Cassie and her team delivered BIG TIME. We recently got married so I fully remember all the stress that comes with weddings. Working with Cassie and her team is definitely a good move—she was super communicative the entire way and made us feel heard and taken care of. No request was too much (and we had a lot of guests with food allergies so we had to make a lot of requests).

The food was beautiful and delicious. I cannot stress that enough—our guests were raving about our food! The crab cakes, fish in a lemon buerre blanc sauce, and the rice with roasted vegetables were a hit. Our guests ate all the food that there were no leftovers! (Which is great because they ordered the right amount—no one was hungry—and people went back for more!)

Food quality, aside, Cassie was truly a professional and cared about delivering high quality service. She and her team ensured the night ran smoothly and she worked very well with our amazing planners, CM Designs.

Highly recommend! And best wishes to everyone planning their wedding.

Cuisine and Company covers it all!

Jen from Cuisine and Company was extremely helpful and made our wedding reception flawless. All of the guests commented on how great the food was and the service was awesome. I didn't have to stress about anything while Cuisine and Company set up everything. She even brought over plates of food for my husband and I to make sure she got some of it! They also packaged up leftovers for us and gave us little baskets to take up to the hotel with leftovers and champagne. Cuisine and Company has so many menu options and they will work with you to make exactly what you want!

I can't rave enough about hiring Cuisine and Company!!!!

Jen G. made our wedding at the Hermitage Museum and Gardens the best wedding it could possibly be. She met with us numerous times for tastings and to help us with all the little details (such as tablecloths, tables, chairs, lights) and made the seemingly daunting process easy to handle. Without Jen, our wedding would not have been as beautiful as it was! I have recommended her AND Cuisine and Company to multiple people.

The FOOD was absolutely fantastic. Our guests still talk to us about the bourbon and brown sugar beef tenderloin we had...it was mouthwatering.

Lastly, I wanted to write about an added touch that made C&C hard to beat - during cocktail hour, Jen found the me and my groom and had drinks and a plate of hors d'oeuvres for us. For anyone that says, "be prepared to not eat at your own wedding," this will certainly not be the case if you hire Cuisine and Company! We left full and happy. :)

Perfect in every way!

Where do I even begin? Cuisine and Company made our wedding planning experience and our actual wedding day exceptional. Jen was our event coordinator and became more like an additional wedding planner than just a caterer contact. She answered emails quickly, was thoughtful in her answers, offered suggestions and options, and always helped us feel reassured.

Cuisine and Company has an extensive menu that they help you narrow down based on your event preferences. Our cocktail hour food is still talked about by our friends, our plated dinner entrees could not have been better, and the service was better than restaurants we frequent where we live in Washington DC.

Our guests commented on: how well cooked the food was and how impressive that was since it was a plated dinner of 130 guests, the bartenders were quick and efficient + the signature drinks were well made, and how organized the service was.

Jen and her team were simply fantastic and so kind. From the beginning of the day when I first arrived at the venue to see them all smiling to the last private dance I had with my husband where they were all still smiling and saying "Congratulations"... they made our day.

Thank you SO much to Jen and the team at Cuisine and Company. Exceptional job!

Amazing Service & Food!

Cuisine and Co. really went above and beyond during our wedding. We cannot thank them enough for their amazing service and menu they put together for us. We worked with Cassie and she was truly phenomenal! We did stations at our wedding and it was a huge hit, people all night long were telling us how we “nailed the food” it was a unique and fun way to serve guests and we couldn’t have done it without Cassie’s expertise. Something that really stood out to my husband and I is that she really took care of us and got all of our food and drinks so we didn’t have to get up and could just focus on eating during that window of time. Cuisine and Co. were great to work with and Cassie did an excellent job coordinating with me throughout the last 6+ months. I would highly recommend working with this amazing team!

With so many disappointments on this day from other vendors I wanted to make sure I reviewed cuisine and company as they were worth every penny and more! The food was amazing. One of the main things you want to hear after you wedding is”the food was amazing,” and we seriously haven’t stopped hearing it. Our guests are literally raving about the food. AND the food came out hot! I can’t tell you how many weddings I’ve been to where I’ve had cold food. We had perfectly executed service from beginning to end. And by “beginning” i mean Cassie was so thorough with the planning. She had such initiative and thoughtfulness when it came to planning, she ensured we covered all the bases. Cassie not only knows what she’s doing, she also has the care and concern to ensure we knew what we were doing too. This catering was flawless, our venue was beautiful, the staff was amazing and the food genuinely could not have been better. Of all of the staff from our wedding, Cuisine is at the top of the “would use again” list.

Jen and the entire Cuisine and Company team are superstars! I truly enjoyed working with them and their food was delicious. Even though I was super indecisive, Jen was so patient with me and helped me navigate through their vast options and selections. Plus they go above and beyond to make sure the bridal party are taken care of the entire day! My husband and I were not able to attend cocktail hour but Jen made sure to put aside some of the h'ordeuvres for us to enjoy with our dinner. The team was super professional, just overall awesome. The food is fantastic, and they have so many wonderful options. You get to have a full tasting of your menu, and will be able to adjust as needed. The process was stress free. A great touch at the end- they give you a picnic basket with full entrees, other foods served at your wedding (apps), generous slices of cake, plastic ware and utensils, and a nice bottle of champagne.

So, you are planning a wedding. You trust the food and service will be good. But what you really need is an experienced and calm and professional catering point of contact to work with you as you plan. Someone who will respond promptly and professionally and without a trace of an "eye roll" or impatience. Jen Gaughan at Cuisine & Company was just that person. She answered a million emails from me (as I was wedding planning from outside the VA Beach area) - anticipated questions I hadn't asked, and was one step ahead for what was needed to ensure the reception was amazing. The catering staff arrived on time, had everything set up promptly and beautifully. The food was better than good - it was amazing! The service was unobtrusive and always there. Jen ensured I had a hot plate of food, as I kept getting pulled away to interact with guests, and we received a wonderful basket of food to enjoy at the end of the night as well as a box of left overs that was still exceptional tasting the next day! I would highly recommend Cuisine and Company. I actually knew I'd pick this caterer from the initial inquires I sent out to the list of approved caterers for my venue. Cuisine and Company's first emails with me and their packaged information was the most professional of all others. From that initial impression, to the tasting, to the excellent services Jen offered us, to the night itself - it was all wonderful!

We had AMAZING food for our wedding. Kate and her team were so easy to work with and the food service was very smooth even with a sit down dinner for 130. They put together a lovely picnic basket for my husband and I to take with us after the wedding which was great because you know you don't have a lot of time to eat during the wedding. People still talk about how great the food was at the wedding.

We cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Cuisine and Company. From the start of planning they were on top of every small detail. I was able to share what I had envisioned and they were able to make it happen. The catering was the last thing on my mind the day of the wedding. I had so much to worry about, but the catering was the last thing on my mind the day of. Everything was perfection and the way everything was presented was beautiful. Not only was the presentation amazing, but the food was incredible. Everyone raved about the food and said it was the best food at a wedding they had ever tasted. All of our guests felt the food was above and beyond what they were expecting. We loved having stations, and the gelato bar was amazing! We talk about the food all the time, wishing we could go back and have it all again. The staff was amazing as well. They all went above and beyond to make the day so special. When we were waiting to make an entrance and did not want to be a part of cocktail hour, they brought food back to the bridal suite to make sure we could eat a little of everything. Another detail was they brought us a plate of food and we did not have to worry about getting up and trying to get the food ourselves. Everything was more than we could have dreamed of, and Cuisine and Company was a huge part of this. I am so thankful we chose them and if I could go back I would choose them again in a heartbeat! Cuisine and Company was the exclusive caterer for my venue, but I am SO glad that they were! What an amazing and efficient team! I worked with Jen from the get go and she was very helpful in creating the perfect menu for our guests to enjoy. The day of the wedding, she and her team made sure my husband and I were taken care of the entire night by getting us our food quickly so we could mingle with our guests, ensuring we always had drinks, and all leftover food and cake was packaged up in a nice little basket for us to go (with some champagne, too!) Everything was packed up by the staff and placed right into our car so my husband and I, as well as our families and bridal party, did not have to lift a finger after the wedding! The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed those leftovers the day after the wedding! After the wonderful experience we had, I would use them all over again, exclusive caterer or not!

Let me tell you, Jen took care of me from day one! She was so flexible & so easy to work with! She made everything possible! The food is AMAZING! My husband and I already want to order catering for our first anniversary just because it alll was so good! We weren't able to eat any of the leftovers because Hurricane Matthew struck and took out the powers for 16+ hours! All of my guests (and my husband and I) were so disappointed we didn't get leftovers! Please please please use this company because I promise you won't be disappointed!

To say Cuisine and Company did a fanatical job would be an understatement. Kate Bull and her team did a wonderful job handling the day, the details and most importantly us and our guest. The food was amazing the day we did the tasting, the dinner we had at our wedding, and the left overs that I have eaten so much of. Kate Bull thought of every little detail when it came to our meetings, and then the final day. It all turned out we all imagined it! Let me take a moment and say Kate Bull is a phenomenal women when she handled a little stressed out bride to be on those last few weeks, I'm not sure I could even come close to her grace that she exhibited throughout the entire process. Everyone dressed nicely, was kind to our guest. And if you're having anything fall, definitely go with the Butternut Squash Ravioli! Thank you to a great team who weathered the storm of Hurricane Matthew to ensure our night turned out perfect!

So at first we were skeptical of C&C, because they were the only caterer allowed for our venue. We were assigned Cassie as our point of contact, and she was perfect. She was very responsive to all our questions and concerns. She understood our budget, and balanced everything within it. I heard great things from my guest about the staff interaction and quality. As for food quality, our wedding was 2 weeks ago and I still get complimented from coworkers bout the food, sauces , and drinks. Everyone knows it's hard to eat at your own wedding, so when we left on our grand departure they had a basket waiting for us in the limo with food. Book this company without hesitation.

Cuisine & Company is the exclusive caterer where we chose to have our wedding. Before committing to the venue we decided to meet with someone at Cuisine’s office first. Cassie was assigned to us, talked through possible menu options, rentals, general costs, and took the time to answer all of our questions; we left feeling confident that she and the company would take care of us on our special day. When we later returned for our tasting session, everything was so delicious! Cassie walked us through buffet station and appetizer options to help create the menu we wanted, while also helping us manage costs. She was very organized, accommodating, and responsive through email and phone calls. After the final walk through a week before our wedding we felt at ease and that everything would go smoothly. We could not have been more right! When getting ready before the ceremony we were each brought a complimentary fruit and cheese plate, upon taking formal photos after the ceremony we were brought a plate of appetizers from the cocktail hour, during dinner we were attended to promptly and often by Cuisine & Company staff and Cassie came over to check on us more than once. The food was out of this world delicious and our guests could not stop raving about it (especially the salmon)! The servers and bartenders were excellent. And when the rented Town Car dropped us off at the hotel we found a surprise basket in the trunk prepared for us with two containers of leftover food, a small box of our wedding cupcakes, plastic cups, plates, and utensils, which we promptly opened to enjoy as a picnic in our room. The little thoughtful touches were ways Cassie and Cuisine & Company went above and beyond, helping make our wedding day so very special. – Heather and Michael

"The food was amazing". That is what everyone kept telling me both during and after our July wedding which Cuisine & Company catered. We picked a fish (Salmon) and beef option along with two sides that were the hit of the wedding. So many people who were not "fans" of Salmon could not get over how great the Caramelized Salmon tasted. I thought it was pretty delicious myself which is why we chose it. There was plenty of food which even though it was a buffet stayed fresh and hot. Our Cuisine & Company Coordinator Cassie was GREAT! My husband and I have difficult schedules and made setting up times for tastings and reviewing and signing contracts a challenge but Cassie handled it all in stride. The servers on the day of our wedding were great! Typically at a wedding the bride and groom are running here and there to greet guests, take pictures, and just overall being too busy to eat. One of the many things I liked is that servers checked on us (bride and groom) frequently during the cocktail hour to make sure we were able to try all the different food in the mist of all the mingling we had to do. Loved it! There was a small mix-up with some of beverages we supplied but it was handled that day and Cassie followed up after the wedding to make sure we were taken care of to our satisfaction. I would definitely recommend Cuisine & Company and if you work with Cassie rest in knowing that you are in good hands!

Cuisine and Company were fantastic. We did a tasting and all the food was very good. We had a few suggestions and things we wanted to change and they were quick at making the changes and had great suggestions. At the reception they were also very attentive. One of the caterers brought my wife and I a plate and then brought us a new warmer plate when she noticed that we had not taken the time to eat. They were just great. The food was amazing. It is fairly expensive and if you have a super tight budget you may need to go with someone else but I thought they were well worth it. Nothing but good things to say about them. Highly recommended.

This food is better the majority of the Hampton Roads restaurants!!! When you think buffet food you worry about dry or mushy tasteless food. This food is amazing. We had steak with chimicurri sauce and some of the best Tuscan chicken I have ever had. Plus there were some creative new things like BBQ spring rolls. Plus they made us a basket of leftovers (you won't eat as the wedding couple) and it was still incredible hours later at the hotel! Jen was absolutely amazing as well. If you pick Cuisine and Co (and you should) specifically ask for her!

The reception venue we chose used Cuisine and Company as their house caterer. I had heard that they were fantastic so that didn't bother me. Jen was always quick to respond to emails and answer any questions I had. Overall Cuisine and Company was fantastic. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. We managed to get a few bites before we had to go take more pictures, but they packed up all the leftover food for us to take with us. Later that evening when we got back to the hotel I heated up a huge plate of mac and cheese and it was so delicious! The mashed potatoes were so good we didn't even bother heating them up and just ate them cold. If you pick a venue where Cuisine and Company is the only option, don't fret - they are awesome to work with and the food is delicious!

Cuisine & Co. was the vendor we had to use because they were the only ones who worked with our Venue. We were confident that they wouldn't be too bad since the Venue had great reviews I knew they would choose the best. This caterer was the only one we met with so I cant compare them with others but they were excellent at what they do. We worked closely with Cassie and she is PERFECT she made us feel relaxed and responded quickly to any questions we had and gave us advice since we were clueless. When we went to their location for our tasting It was a little under my standard and I was a little concerned but once the food came out things changed. The food was so good! Cassie explained what everything was and gave us the time alone to discuss our feelings of it and everything was so good. We decided on beef tips and the salmon and it sure was good the day of. Everyone raved about our food. We were sent home with a basket of food but unfortunately nobody told us they put it in the limo trunk so we never got it until the next day BUT we were still happy that they thought of packing it for us.

Great company. The food was awesome and very good. They handled everything very good and made it smooth for everyone to eat and get drinks. The only issue was with serving alcohol they said they were out when there was more at another spot that's the only complaint we had.

My daughter's wedding was Labor Day Weekend and everything was perfect. Cuisine and Company was fantastic! We desired a high level of service and quality, and in every regard, our expectations were exceeded. Cuisine and Company was a delight to work with. I would just like to say how impressed I was with the delicious food and outstanding service provided by Cuisine & Company Caterers. On our daughter's wedding day, we arrived at the venue to find chilled bottles of champagne, wine, water and soft-drinks and a wine and cheese platter. While we were getting ready, they were constantly coming in to see if we needed anything. I found out that they were doing the same for the groom and groomsmen. It was wonderful!!! The servers and bartenders were friendly, professional, quick and accommodating. The food was fantastic!!! Our guests are still talking about the wonderful selections and especially the amazing shrimp and grits!!! When we left, they had boxed-up all of the leftover food for us to take home. I would think serving dinner for 200 would be quite challenging, however, Jen and her team at Cuisine and Company made it look easy.

Jen, Louise, and all the staff at Cuisine and Company were such amazing people to work with. We used them for catering our event on Thursday night, a reception on Friday night, and our wedding on Saturday. You could not ask for more patient and professional people. In fact, Jen was one of our most favorite people on our wedding night. Not only did she make sure the food and the layout were perfect, she continued to make sure we were both fed, and had a drink whenever we needed it.
For a good six months, we went through countless layouts, menus, and changes for all our events. Every meeting, Jen stayed organized and kept us on track with the decisions we needed to make. When the wedding weekend arrived and passed, we were left with everyone ranting and raving about how wonderful the food was and how polite Cuisine’s staff were. We cannot thank Jen, Cuisine, and their staff enough for making our night so special, and making all our plans on paper turn to reality. When looking for a caterer, do not pass up on Cuisine and Company. They are simply the best in the business.

I wish I could give this company more than 5 stars. We worked with Cassie, who was wonderful. She responded very quickly to all my emails, helped me decide on my menu, and came to my venue to help me decide on a layout. The company was really accommodating about me wanting locally sourced food and having a vegan option. We also rented our chairs, tables, linens etc. through them which made my life easier. On the day of the wedding, they were there on time, very professional, and Cassie was there to make sure everything went smoothly. The food was delicious! All the guests raved about it. I didn't have to worry about anything on the day. I really couldn't recommend this company enough.

All around we had a great experience with Cuisine and Company for our wedding reception. Our tasting was fun and relaxed...we were pleasantly surprised on how good the food was! Jen was great with working with us and meeting all of our requests and adjustments to the final counts....I think we changed it three times! Not once did we run into any problems. Everyone attending commented on how good the food was - the macaroni and cheese was the biggest hit! I would definitely use them again for a big event!

Cuisine & Co is the catering company used at Marina Shores Yacht Club. I worked with Gloria Gibney. She was a pleasure to work with! She was always quick to answer my phone calls and emails. They were very accommodating to work with my fiance and I WAY ahead of time before he deployed so that he could be involved in some of the decision making. The day of the wedding was perfect. The food was SO GOOD!!! I chose a buffet and couldn't believe how great everything tasted. The guests kept commenting how impressed they were. We had a fruit and cheese display, bacon wrapped scallops, and sweet & sour meatballs as appetizers. Veggie lasagna, beef sirloin tips, and chicken roulade were the main courses. Double stuffed potato and veggie melange were the sides. Everything was delicious! Cuisine & Co wraps up all leftover food very well so you can take it with you at the end of the night. It all stayed very fresh. Most froze well. It tasted great as leftovers. The bartenders provided by the caterer were wonderful. My family definitely likes their drinks and everyone was very happy with the quality and professionalism of the staff. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening. Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed. I also received an unexpected refund check afterwards because my total count ended up being less than I expected. This company is professional and honest. Very happy bride :)

Cuisine & Company was so great to work with and the food and setup was perfect! They arrived at the beach house and did work! With little input from me the day of (because Cassie was perceptive and had communicated EXACTLY what was needed), the reception turned out to be perfect! I was truly impressed with Cassie's recommendations and the fact that she took it upon herself to visit the venue to get a better idea of setup and needs for the day of the wedding. The food was amazing! Everyone raved about the vegetarian penne pasta and the beef skewers. The staff was professional and on top of their game all night! Only one word: wow! From the food, to the bartenders, to the servers, this was the best caterer we could have had for our wedding. A few weeks after the wedding we had family staying with us and we offered up some of our wedding leftovers for dinner, and they couldn't have jumped on it fast enough. Kate was incredibly professional and we had a fantastic time at our tasting. For the actual food I highly recommend getting the teryaki salmon, acorn squash, apricot ham biscuits, and sesame chicken salad sandwiches - they will all change your life! At the end of the wedding they sent us home with a beautiful picnic basket with a split of champagne and packed up leftovers so we could finally try out the food everyone had been raving about all night. I wish there was another event that I could have so I could order this food again!

We selected Cuisine & Company to cater a very small wedding reception at our beach house. Even though our guest count was fewer than 20, Cuisine & Company was just as professional and courteous. The food was beautiful and tasted amazing! You can either go with a pre-selected menu or customize as necessary. We chose to customize our own menu; Jen worked with us every step of the way on pricing and other details. We had some special needs within our group (peanut allergy, and a pescatarian), and they were more than accommodating. As far as price goes, it really is not that much for the service you get and the quality of the food. I looked into a couple other places, and even though they might be a bit cheaper, they didn't offer everything that Cuisine & Company offers.

I would highly recommend Cuisine & Company for any event.

The food for our wedding was FABULOUS! Everything was fresh and made from scratch. They even packaged up a lovely basket for my husband and I to take back to our hotel room that consisted of leftovers, plates, champagne, and silverware. The service was exceptional. The severs were very courteous and attentive.

Dina was the head caterer and point of contact for my wedding and she was fabulous. I had very specific likes, dislikes and wishes from food to linens to table placements and she nailed them all. Most specific, the week of my wedding I had an emergency and she, along with my wedding planner, called an emergency meeting with my Fiancé and I and eased all stress and worries. In regards to the food, it was absolutely AMAZING and we've heard nothing but raves from all of our guests. Thank you a million times, Dina!!

What an exceptional catering company!!!! At first we were nervous when the Chrysler Museum told us that we had to go with their preferred caterer however all of our worries were eliminated when we met with Dina Taylor and team. Her flexibility and ability to keep a frantic bride calm was priceless!! Our guests still rave about how delicious the food was, how spectacular the presentation of everything was laid out and how quickly everyone was fed. As the bride and groom, we had first class service and felt like royalty! Cuisine and Co truly upheld their motto to be a guest at your own event!!!

We used Cuisine and Company for our wedding this past weekend at the Contemporary Art Center. We worked with Jen to plan our catering needs and she was very professional, always quick to respond and was genuinly interested in making our wedding perfect. Many of our guests called and sent us emails the day after the wedding saying that this was the "best wedding food ever". The appetizers that were the biggest hit were the seafood teasers served in shot glasses on a beautiful glass display and the asparagus straws which everyone raved about. We had a buffet dinner for 150 people and they moved people through quickly and the food was delicious and hot. The servers were very efficient...no dirty dishes left on tables and the bartenders served cocktails quickly so there were no long lines. I would highly recommend Cuisine and Company to cater any event that you may have. If you want it done right, use them. You will not regret it.

We were really happy with the food prepared by Cuisine & Company. The guests were cleaning their plates! The staff was so professional, too, and Jen did a wonderful job getting everything ready and making sure the event went off without a hitch. Crowd favorites, I think, were the bacon-wrapped scallops and coconut chicken!

Taste catered our wedding at the Chrysler Museum and was really great! Liz was fantastic during the planning process. Helped us figure out exactly what we wanted for meals and different options. We loved this catering company! The food quality and taster - AMAZING! I was really impressed with the attention the staff paid to everyone throughout the night. They even brought my husband and I plates of food so we had time to eat while people were getting in line, I thought that was genius! Cuisine & Company was the exclusive caterer for our venue. As food was extremely important to us, we actually did our tasting before committing to the venue. There were some wows and some ok items at our tasting so we were a little unsure. Our wedding planner assured us that the would get it right and we need not worry. They did thanks in large part to Cassie, who was assigned to our wedding. After some negotiating, we were able to go back in to taste a few more alternatives to set the menu.
Cassie was extremely responsive and professional as we made last minute changes and requests. For example, I was intent on having stuffed squash blossoms for sentimental reasons. It was proving difficult to execute so they included them in a vegetable flatbread hors d'oeuvre that sounded boring when described but tasted amazing! We were very happy with how everything turned out.

Cuisine & Co is another contracted vendor with Yacht Club Marina Shores and we have no regrets. The food was amazing even without a tasting before wedding. Our guest absolutely loved the mac and cheese bar! The servers were attentive and even brought our plates to the sweetheart table. The bartenders did an excellent job keeping our guest happy.

TIP: Provide small individual to go boxes for your guest. We had so much food leftover and was difficult to portion out to those that could take home.

Cuisine & Company was wonderful to work with! Kate was very helpful and worked with me when I needed to make continuous revisions to my contract to better suit my budget. There was a little confusion with my package and a pasta dish was eliminated, but Kate made the last minute change so we could still have pasta available. The food was incredible, and everyone raved about it (and continues to do so!). My only complaint would be that it occasionally took awhile to get an email response, but for the most part they were very attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to have great quality food with professional and kind service!

My husband and I loved working with Gloria at Cuisine & Company. She was always readily available to answer any question big or small. She was very thorough and made sure our wedding buffet dinner went flawlessly. Our guests really enjoyed the food and my husband and I enjoyed our to go basket that we got to take with us after (having not had a chance to eat at the wedding). We used Cuisine & Company for our wedding reception on October 19,2012. The food was hot and delicious. My guests all loved it! The only negative feedback that I would have to give is that this company is very busy. It would take us several attempts to get a question answered sometimes. I am so thrilled that they do such great bussiness to be so busy, but sometimes we just needed them to concentrate on us and the task at hand! lol Overall, I am very pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone who loves good food!

Jenn Gaughan was an amazing catering coordinator for our wedding! She really surprised my husband and I by waiting on us all night and ensuring we never were empty-handed with drinks or food, as appropriate. We weren't expecting such service. She wasnt seen by guests, either! She was friendly and accommodating, whatever the situation was. After the wedding, she promptly issued an overpayment refund check to my father for the catering, and he was very pleased by her timeliness.
Jenn understands brides and the hectic panning that goes in to a wedding.

My husband and I had an excellent experience working with Cassie and her team. We were a bit skeptical at the outset because our venue required using C&C, but learned quickly after a few interactions with them that this was an excellent choice. The food was phenomenal, our Sept 3 wedding still receives compliments from our guests about how lovely the spread was for the cocktail hour and meal itself. I didn't expect to have time to really eat, but once I took just a bite of the bourbon glazed salmon I paused everything until I could finish the plate! Some may see that the pricing is a tad high with C&C, but I believe you get exactly what you pay for, which in this case was a truly professional, experienced, accommodating, top notch group that will ensure your wedding goes smoothly and your guests are happy and well fed. I would strongly recommend using Cuisine and Company for your big event!

Working with Jen and Cuisine and Company was amazing. Food was a big component in our wedding and they surely met our expectations. We had a bi-cultural menu request and Cuisine and Company was able to create foods that we and our guests loved. Although they were a little expensive, we understand why. Our guests are still talking about the food (3 weeks later)! Cuisine and Company was very professional. They had excellent service the day of the wedding. Jen was very responsive. The food during out tasting was better than the day of the wedding (more flavorful), however it was still so good the guests raved about it. The cost is high and there is no flexibility with the pricing. Jen was flexible with our specific details regarding how food was prepared. They allowed for special dietary restrictions and ensured the right people received the right plates. At the end of the night, they packed up all of the left overs and sent them with us. This was great!!! I recommend Cuisine and Company for your catering needs!

Overall the food on our wedding day turned out delicious, we received lots of compliments from guests on how good it was! There were are lot of good options to choose from. Everything ran smoothly the day of the event, we didn't have to worry about anything. Service from the waitstaff was prompt and professional. They gave my husband and I a cute picnic basket of leftovers to take back to the hotel at the end of the night :)

There were a couple things that I wasn't happy about during the planning process. One was that I live 10 hours away and only had one opportunity to come to town for a tasting to pick out our food. I found out when I got there that they had updated the menu choices and added lots more options that were more appealing to me. However I wasn't able to sample them because I hadn't requested to try them ahead of time. I ended up choosing several items without getting to taste them, I will say at least they turned out well though!

The other thing I was upset about was that the original contract was for an estimated 100 people with a quoted per person price. It stated that the price per person "may increase to cover basic labor costs" if it falls below that number (very vague). However, turns out that the price per person jumped 30% for having only 75 people which I wasn't expecting at all! I feel that this should have been discussed in more detail with me before I signed the original contract. It ended up being only about $300 less to have 25 fewer guests which I think is a rip off. I would have invited more people to the wedding if I knew that ahead of time, but it was too late by the time I found out.
