Desmond Brought Our Wedding Day Vision to Life!

Desmond was an amazing addition to our wedding day! The reception location had last minute street closures and Dez not only worked with our schedule slow-down, but kept the vibes light and bright while guests trickled in. He was professional, understanding of our vision and, most importantly to us, always had a smile on his face during the big day. Dez worked with us over the phone leading up to the date as we were planning from out of town, but he NAILED the style and mood we were going for. We were having a classic wedding turned on it's head-- afternoon reception with light and airy music from the 70s-- and it was still a party! We were SO blessed to have a great DJ like Desmond help us see our vision come true & ring in our marriage in style.

DJ Dez is the absolute best!!

We hired Groove On Entertainment in 2018 for a large party with 200 13-year-olds. Our goal was to find the right blend of music that would be age-appropriate yet get the kids dancing. DJ Dez absolutely blew us away!! He is a true gentleman with an unparalleled knowledge and passion for music. He knew exactly what to play, how to interact perfectly with the guests, and he was the highlight of our event. Without his talent and energy, I'm certain we wouldn't have had one of the best nights of our lives!!

Since then, we have hired DJ Dez and his team for multiple parties and school events, both large and small. They are always professional, punctual, and incorporate music requests seamlessly. They understand exactly what the party needs to stay lively and engaging! We've received so many compliments about the parties we've hosted, and it's all thanks to the great vibes created by Groove On Entertainment! They truly guarantee an evening that no one wants to end.

Best DJ ever!!!

DJ Dez is simply the best around!! Amazing talent and his song choices are always perfect for the theme of the event! Everyone has an amazing time at every event that we are lucky enough to book him for!

We hired Groove On Entertainment and couldn’t be happier with their DJ and Photo Booth services. Dez showed up on time, was very fun but professional and did a great job mixing Mexican & American music. He even led some line dances!!! A++++

Amazing DJ

DJ Dez was the DJ at my friends wedding. He was awesome!! He had everyone out on the dance floor. He knows his music & knows how to set the mood. He has non stop energy & leaves a lasting impression. He makes sure it is a memorable experience for everyone involved.

We have used Dez many many times for parties and neighborhood events. He is very professional, but also super fun! He has a great energetic vibe and he knows what people want to hear. He really is the best!

Simply the Best

Groove On Entertainment has been the key to several of our events' successes. We first used Groove On for our Spring graduation party in which we had 200+ grads and their parents for an evening of food, drink, dancing and games to celebrate the highschool graduating class. The entire class and their parents had a blast dancing the night away. Groove On worked with us before the event to understand the music interests of the group that spanned from 18 yr olds to adults. We were so impressed that we had Groove On back for a repeat performance in December for a class holiday party. Our College Freshmen and parents were so excited to reconnect and dance with music led by Groove On.

Great wedding DJ!

DJ Dez provided us with a great evening. He was able to provide us uplighting which made the room look great and helped us out with music during our ceremony as well. His DJ booth and lighting set up were really good. He kept the dance floor packed! I highly recommend Groove On!

Our wedding 10/6/19. DJ Des listened to the crowd and kept us on the dance floor. The playlist was perfect for every moment. My guest are still talking about the "DJ". As the bride, I wanted a party and I got that and more. Thank you Dj Des for helping our day be AMAZING!!!

So much fun on a Sunday afternoon!

DJ Dez was the DJ for my September brunch wedding and he was AMAZING! I was nervous because I'm not from Chicago, and needed a DJ who would be able to give me the Chicago sound (for my groom's side) and some Bay Area/California jams for me. I also wanted a good mix of neo soul, smooth jazz, 80s music, 90s music, hip-hop, R&B and house music. Plus, I wanted a DJ who was fun, had a great personality, and would keep the party going. DJ Dez had all that we were looking for!

I was immediately impressed by his professionalism. He responded quickly to my email and he replied with enthusiasm. Excellent customer service is big for me. We discussed what I was looking for and he immediately understood my vision. He even came to the wedding rehearsal to help us find everything.

On our wedding day, he played the obscure songs that we requested. He played songs that kept the crowd engaged (that was not easy, considering our reception started at noon on a Sunday). He kept the reception on track by following our timeline. And he took requests! He even played one of my favorite songs from high school twice for me. DJ Dez is a joy to work with. If you're looking for that perfect DJ for your wedding, look no further than DJ Dez!!!!

Best Party of the Year

DJ Dez DJ’d our wedding reception and it was the absolute BEST party of our lives. The flow of the evening went off without a hitch and that’s all thanks to DJ Dez. I even had multiple guests ask for a copy of the evening’s playlist which DJ Dez graciously shared. We would recommend Groove On Atlanta to any Atlanta couples or events looking for a DJ. If we ever have another DJ need, will absolutely give you a call!

Amazing experience!

We just had our graduate program occupational therapy formal. Being a graduate program, funds were limited but I wanted an amazing event with it all despite that. This DJ made that happen! He provided uplighting and an AMAZING experience for all of our guests! He was so responsive and accommodating. We had the night of our lives thanks to him!

Best DJ Experience EVER

I was looking for a DJ to provide services for a graduate school formal and happened upon GrooveOn. They have fabulous communication. I had to get payment through our university which is a headache and a half and they were so patient. DJ Dez is Amazing!

DJ Dez is a must for your wedding!!! The guy is a true professional and I would recommend him time and time again. Not only did he do an amazing job for our ceremony, he also kept the reception 'Lit' as we millennials like to say. He knew how keep the crowd involved and entertained the entire night. We are still getting compliments from our guests, young and old, on the great job he did. He impressed our venue so much that they decided to put him on their preferred list of vendors. DJ DEZ was a delight for our wedding day !!!!

As a pianist and past college dj , music was a big deal for me at our wedding. We had a musical vision for the pre-ceremony, cocktail party and dinner music and then wanted the dj to take the party to another place and level. Desmond ( DJ DEZ) met all our expectations and more ! His easy engagement process and prep paperwork quickly helped me feel comfortable I was working with the "right" professional. Dez was able to handle multiple areas and situations ( live performances ) with ease . If I ever need someone for a future event ,Dez would be my only choice.

We used DJ Dez for our daughters wedding 9 years ago and he was FANTASTIC! Now August 2018 Hubby & I used Groove On Entertainment again for our 25th Wedding Anniversary...Best DJ Ever DJ Jaron played music from our playlist + some...he was very professional, on time set up....pleasant ... took request ....and always smiling!!!! We didn't have a big dancing crowd but those that did dance said they enjoyed every minute of his music!!!! Will I hire Groove On Entertainment again YESSSSS!!!! Thank you DJ Dez & DJ Jaron for a memorable Anniversary!

We had a wonderful experience with Desmond at Groove On Entertainment! He was so much fun and really accommodated our needs with keeping the music calm at the start of our party where the guests were eating, and then brought the dance party and karaoke at the end of the night! We would absolutely hire him again for future events. Bob & Sue's 50th Anniversary party was a huge success thanks mostly in part to Groove on Entertainment.

Extremely flexible. Accommodated many last minute requests and needs we had. He adjusted to last minute rain, and had a portable speaker going during the transition to rain so there was never a break. The ceremony music was all right on cue, and he even played an audio clip reading during the ceremony of my brother who could not attend due to his service in the military. He kept the party going all night! 10/10 would hire again!

Our wedding music was very important to us, which led us to looking outside our venue city for a good DJ. We have a very diverse crowd and needed someone who could handle different age groups as well as different music genres. Luckily, I found Groove on Entertainment. DJ Jay (Jaron) was our wedding DJ and he did a phenomenal job! He was extremely friendly and easy to work with and did everything we asked and more. The dance floor was never empty and we even had guests come up to us and tell us our DJ was amazing! Thank you, DJ Jay!

DJ Dez recently worked with our school, Timber Ridge Elementary, Marietta, GA for our end-of-year, 5th Grade Dance, an annual tradition at the school, sponsored by PTA.

We had received Dez' name from another local school, which give him rave reviews, but without having known him, we had no idea what to expect. What we discovered is that he (Groove On Entertainment) is, hands-down, the best DJ in town! What's even better, is that he is exceptionally skilled at working with the "tween" age range. He was lively, fun, engaging, and VERY energetic with the kids, but at the same time he was professional, punctual and very polished with the PTA. He arrived well before our event, required no help with set-up or equipment installation --he handled it all himself. He was able to orchestrate the music perfectly throughout the 1.5 hour event, with the perfect combination of songs and tempos to get every child in the room up and dancing. We asked him to coordinate some dance contests for the kids, with prizes, and he handled that part seamlessly, too! In short, DJ Dez is most definitely the DJ you want at any event featuring or honoring kids or young teens. After our event, we received many reviews from students, teachers and administrators that this was the best dance we have ever had at Timber Ridge. We have DJ Dez, in large part, to thank for that!!! Our students said some of the following things to describe him: "fun", "great dancer", "played awesome music", "cool games", "he crushed it", "Best dance ever!" Need we say more? We will definitely be working with Groove On Entertainment again.

Dez was awesome! We had a very small wedding in an intimate setting, and i was concerned about the music being too much. It was absolutely perfect. He was unobtrusive and very professional. We will definitely use him again.

We booked DJ Dez without having met him in person until the day of our wedding (cons of planning an out of state wedding), but it was totally worth the gamble! Prior to the big day, I had a few conversations/email exchanges with him to go over all the details and he was always very responsive, professional, and organized. We had somewhat of a complicated set up (a multilevel venue) and he showed up early to set up both for our rooftop reception and basement after party. He did an excellent job with the setup, music, and emceeing! Everything ran smoothly and he played exactly the kind of music we had requested. People young and old were on the dance floor the entire night! After the reception, we had him DJ our after party and that was the best decision. We were able to continue the celebration with an epic dance party in the basement of our venue! I would definitely recommend DJ Dez and we are so glad he came through for our wedding!

When we initially started planning our wedding we debated whether or not to spend the money for a DJ. We'd been to weddings where they used a friend and an iPod and had a great time, so we figured we could save in this area. At some point we ended up changing our mind and hired DJ Dez. We thought the rate was reasonable, and after meeting with him to go over our musical vision, we learned how passionate he was about music and his job. DJ Dez spent time with us helping us to pick songs and craft the perfect playlist. He is incredibly knowledgeable about a wide variety of music and the flow of weddings. The day of the wedding we were even more thrilled with DJ Dez. He provided music at our ceremony, where it ended up pouring and he got soaked but he kept it going with a smile on his face. During the reception we realized how wrong we were about having been able to do our own music. DJ Dez's talent for weddings became immediately apparent. He interacted with the guests and kept the music flowing like a true pro with no stoppage between songs. DJ Dez made everyone feel comfortable and we could tell he was really invested in our wedding and making sure it ran perfectly. When it came time to hit the dance floor, Dez kept it going all night. We got SO many compliments from friends and family who are still saying how much they loved DJ Dez. We could not be happier with his service and HIGHLY recommend that you hire him for your wedding or event. Thank you DJ Dez!! Our wedding would not have been the same without you!

Just book it! Dj Dez was amazing - kept the dance party at our wedding going all night, and handled everything without any hiccups whatsoever! DJ Dez IS AMAZING!!!

So check this out, if you want your wedding to be off the chain and not some lame-O spotify dj. DJ DEZ IS YOUR GUY!
He helps bring the energy into the dance floor. My wedding was filled with conservative folks but majority of them were on the dance floor even folks that don't usually dance.

AMAZING, GREAT AND AWESOME! His transitions between songs were incredible and none like you ever heard!

Also, when we met with him to talk about the type of musics and I'm a HUGE 90s fan I just named out a few songs and he already knew what songs I was looking for.

I WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

We booked the package with DJ Dez himself (he has associate DJs in his company that you can also hire for a lesser fee). DJ Dez was very personable, fun, and upbeat. Super professional, has Photo Booth and uplighting!! We wanted a mixture of different types of music and he was able to make it happen and keep everyone dancing (literally) until the end. Couldn't have gone better!

DJ Dez is a great DJ. We had a great time in our wedding. He organized the ceremony and reception music very well!!! During the reception, after dinner we all dance together. DJ Dez was awesome!! I booked him for my wedding and gave him a song list and information for the type of music to play or not play. During the months leading up to the wedding, he was very responsive and professional. On our wedding day, everyone had a great time and loved the music selections. The ages of our guests ranged from infant to 80 years old. If you're still searching for the perfect DJ, you can stop looking. I highly recommend DJ Dez. You won't be disappointed!

Dj Dez made our wedding! He is highly professional and an amazing dj. Throughout the whole process of planning he was on top of what we should be doing every step of the way with plenty of advice when needed(I was planning my 200+ person wedding by myself). He is so quick to respond through emails/phone calls and so easy to work with. On top of it all his prices are incredibly reasonable. He made our wedding a blast and kept it on schedule. We got endless compliments on our music at the wedding. The Dj was the biggest thing I was worried about with the reception since that basically makes or breaks the party and he did not disappoint! I am so happy I hired dj dez.

Since we were planning a wedding from Japan, my husband and I were concerned about hiring the right DJ. DJ Dez came recommended to us and we decided to go with him. He had a contract and a thorough questionnaire for us to make sure he got our wedding just right. The best part, is that we were able to plan all of this over email… completely stress-free.

At our reception, DJ Dez got the party going! He did a great job with announcing the wedding party and the dances. He then played a great mix of music and took guest requests into consideration. He was also great at mixing the music, so no one got bored with a song and everyone stayed on the dancefloor. At one point, my mother-in-law was sitting down, and he came up and asked her what he could play to get her back on the dance floor… she was dancing the rest of the night! There was never a point when the dance floor was not crowded with people. It was a great, fun time for EVERYONE, and we cannot thank DJ Dez enough for making it happen.

DJ Dez was a pleasure to work with every step of the way. From our initial planning session to our final review of the playlist, he offered helpful suggestions and recommendations that we then implemented to have a rocking reception. In addition to wonderful service, the equipment he brought easily filled the GA Freight Depot and kept the party moving for our 350 guests (including individual cocktail hour speakers, up lights, wireless mics, etc.). Lastly, he was gracious to offer his MC services throughout the evening, and kept the flow going for our friends and family.

Our experience with AAA DJ SERVICES was absolutely amazing! We had the pleasure of working with Desmond Thomas (DJ Dez). After our initial meeting with DJ Dez, we knew immediately that he was the right fit for our wedding day. We connected on our love of music instantly. His love and knowledge of music genres and the energy that music evokes is outweighed only by his professionalism. DJ Dez was absolutely amazing and fulfilled every wish we had for our wedding ceremony and reception. A DJ who makes everyone happy at a Homecoming Dance with 14 - 18 year olds is not an easy task. Dj Dez was the reason my wedding was a hit! He was so cooperative he even helped direct all the guests to their seats because the venue forgot to put the place cards on the table! The music was exactly what we were looking for and then some! He read the room and kept the dance floor jumping all night! With my wife being of South Asian descent and myself being of Caribbean descent, we were hoping to find a good DJ that would be able to mix and match music from both backgrounds to really showcase both cultures. After meeting with a couple of DJ services, we didn't feel that anyone suited our taste or needs in particular, but we found Dez at the last minute! This guy was very amicable, easy to work with, and we could tell right off the back that he definitely knew his stuff. He wasted no time in researching music from both cultures, sharing thoughtful suggestions, and putting together a really sweet playlist that could have kept everyone energetic and on the dance floor for days! Seriously, we had such a wonderful time with his mashup that a week after getting back from our honeymoon, people were still asking us who our DJ was and telling us how much they liked him! He was also very approachable to our guests, as I looked over a number of times and saw guests speaking with him, making requests, and one guy said that he was able to learn a lot from shadowing DJ Dez. In the end, we thought that we were really able to find the perfect blend of personality and musical talent to showcase our tastes and what we were about. I look forward to personally recommending DJ Dez to anyone in need if entertainment services.

Dez was great! My husband and I asked one of our good friends to DJ the wedding and hired Dez to provide the equipment and MC the event. He did an amazing job getting everyone on the dance floor and keeping the energy levels high throughout the evening. He's very good at what he does and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to hire a fun and professional, non-cheesy DJ/MC for their event.

DJ Dez was professional, he listened to what I wanted. Our DJ was Linden, he was professional, on time, met and exceeded our expectations. All the guest commented on how fantastic Linden was and the manager of the event center contacted me to get Linden's number for a client. I highly recommend AAADJSERVICES.

DJ Mikey was AMAZING! He went with our playlist and then added his own songs to the mix that fit the style and vibe we were going for. He was a great MC as well. All of the guests commented about how great he was!

All that attending the event spoke highly of the DJ and his services, he was very responsive to everyones needs and played music that was requested and was on cue with the programming for the evening. We will definitely use him for future events. Thank you DJ Dez.

DJ Dez helped to make our daughter's wedding reception a very fun party! The dance floor was filled the entire evening. Dez kept the party going with fun and upbeat music that all of our guests enjoyed. We had lots of friends and family tell us it was a great party, and DJ Dez played a major role in making that happen. DJ Dez was awsome! I am a Mobile Dj myself but unfortunately all my DJ buddies are club DJ's so we had to hire one and could not have found better service at such a great price, AAA DJ Services came through and helped us make our wedding night a very memorable one! DJ Dez went above an beyond for our wedding. We had a very detailed set list, and certain moments of the evening we had timed down to the second with certain songs. He did not miss a beat (literally), and embraced every single one of our unusual requests--like entering the reception to the theme song from Jurassic Park. He was a joy to work with and kindly took song requests from our guests as well. We were so impressed with his ability to lead the entire night, while also keeping a low profile. Thank you, Dez, for a night we will never forget!

DJ Dez was great! He was so fun, accommodating and flexible (he even orchestrated a last-minute Harlem Shake per request)! He played songs from our list, but definitely took requests from friends and family and worked them in the music flow really well. The dance floor was packed all night and it was so much fun! DJ Dez made it such a memorable night! I could not have asked for a better experience! I highly recommend him for your wedding!

So glad we use AAADJSERVICES for my nephew's College Graduation Party...D.J.
