  Groove Jet blew my expectations out of the water for my wedding day beauty services! They have you schedule through their wedding coordinator, Emily. Not only is she super sweet but she somehow kept all 14 of us organized! Somehow they have created a little bubble of calm while you're there, which is much needed on the morning of your wedding. All of my party looked amazing and loved their hair and makeup that day! Thank you to Groove Jet Salon and Spa for helping my party and I look and feel gorgeous!

  We worked with Stephanie last minute and she was able to fit in me and my bridal party (6!) without any problem. Heidi, who is also awesome, handled my trial run and it turned out amazing. On the day-of they had an area for my party, complete with personalized touches which really made us feel special. The atmosphere was very relaxed. The girls in the bridal party who did their own hair and makeup were able to do it right there in the salon themselves. My hair and makeup came out amazing and stayed put all night!

  Great team of stylists! Groove Jet did an excellent job scheduling and executing beautiful hair and makeup for my downtown wedding. The have an upstairs private room for bridal parties. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend them to any bride!

  Luis and the staff at Groove Jet are amazing beyond words. I felt like a beautiful bride and received so many compliments on my hair and make-up that day. Luis really took the time to ask about me, my preferences and tastes, my dress/jewelry/shoes, our wedding "theme" and decor, and my husband's tastes to personalize my look to perfection. Scheduling my appointments was a breeze; Mandy and Christie are always cheerful, helpful, and accomodating. Since finding Groove Jet about two years ago, I won't go anywhere else for any styling needs.

  I can not say enough about this salon. They made me feel like a princess. I had heard great reviews about Luis. I called in and checked to see if he was available, and he has moved away. However, he now works for the Bumble & bumble in New York City. Heidi quickly stepped in and did an amazing job for us. I usually don't write reviews, however they deserve it~

  BRIDES: DO NOT GO HERE!!!! This salon was an absolute nightmare for my wedding hair/makeup. My intention in writing this review is not to be malicious to this business, but to make sure that no one has their wedding morning ruined by such an awful experience like we did. The prices are outrageous, and my maid of honor (who is a hairdresser at another salon) had to recurl every person's hair because they couldn't even curl properly. Some staff members were rude and one even exclaimed "can we get our money for this already?!" because one of the other stylists had to fix her updo. The manager was unhelpful, and didn't seem to care that we had such a nightmarish experience. Not to mention, one of the "stylists" burned my mom's face with a curling iron. When we spoke with the manager, she didn't really seem to be concerned about her staff or business practices. Please please please don't go here for your wedding services, it was the absolute worst salon experience and for such an important day I just was in disbelief!

  If I could give 0 stars, I certainly would. This was the WORST experience that I have ever had at a salon. We went on my daughter's wedding day and not only did they charge an exorbitant amount of money for their services, their staff was completely inept and didn't even know how to curl hair. I was even burned on the side of my face just a few hours before my daughter's wedding!! Even after complaining while we were there, everyone's hair and makeup still had to be redone by someone else after leaving the salon. We contacted them after and all they did was avoid the issues and offered no help at all!! STAY AWAY from Groove Jet

  DON'T COME HERE!!!
  
  It was the day of my daughters wedding (which was beautiful, and went off without a hitch in no small part due to Dayma and her girls at Dia Mia Designs) My daughter, my wife, and other ladies in the wedding party went for their pre-ceremony hair and/or make-up. Two ladies were unavoidably unable to be at the wedding, yet they were still added to the bill. All of the ladies hair had to be done over, and still wasn't right. My wife had her face burned by the "stylist" who botched her hair twice. As if all that wasn't enough, when it came time to pay the bill, there was a FORCED 20% gratuity added!! My wife did not want to make a scene and stress out our daughter, so she bit her tongue, and paid. She has since contacted the salon. The owner refuses to contact her back, The manager acts uncaring and unsympathetic and unhelpful AND has yet to apologize for my wife's face having been burned, . I guess it makes sense because the whole experience left ALL the ladies feeling as if they were burned! DO NOT GO HERE!!!
  
  The only other thing that marred an incredibly wonderful weekend was the ordeal we had at The Riverside Hilton. Talk about inept.
