    This is the place!

If you are reading this review while contemplating booking an event, then rest assured Greystone Fields is the place! After two and a half years of postponements due to COVID, we were finally able to celebrate our Family Reunion here. Our guests raved about the setting, with the abundance of natural light, easy access to the outside and the immaculate surrounding grounds, and many amenities. Plenty of ideal settings for photographs, both inside the venue as well as outside. Best of all was the management and coordination provided by Adam Alexandrunas. He coordinated with us tirelessly for three years to ensure the perfect execution of our event. Since we communicated long-distance from California, Adam made a special effort to explain and describe arrangements. He also recommended an outstanding caterer and bartender, plus made several helpful suggestions throughout the process. The day of the reunion, he masterfully appeared at the appropriate moments to attend to every detail. Adam’s excellent public address announcements helped guide our guests through the activities and food service. His actions allowed us to visit with our extended family, free from any concerns. If you are looking for an all-inclusive worry-free experience, your search is over. For a truly special event, consider ending with fireworks, as Greystone Fields is uniquely situated for such a display. We hope everyone can enjoy Greystone Fields as much as we did!

    Perfect Wedding Venue

Greystone Fields is the perfect wedding venue for a couple’s special day! Adam is truly wonderful to work with and the whole experience comes stress-free with his planning. He is fun to work with, incredibly organized, and will create whatever vision the couple has in mind. Adam does a great job of including everyone involved with the wedding planning. He takes the time to get to know each couple individually, so the planning process is not “one size fits all”. Looking through photos of weddings at Greystone Fields, it is clear that each wedding is unique and exactly as each couple envisions. I highly recommend the all inclusive package for any couple who finds the wedding planning process overwhelming. We just simply had to attend tasting and consultation meetings to make decisions with the vendors, who communicate with Adam to take a huge amount of stress off the couple. Our wedding day was truly special and so much more than we ever thought it would be. We owe it all to Adam for creating such a memorable experience at Greystone Fields that will we will cherish for our lifetime together.

Everything you could want and more

My husband, myself, families, and guests cannot say enough great things about Greystone Fields and the owner, Adam! From the moment we toured the venue, to our wedding day, and the few days after, everything with Adam has been amazing. Adam was more than exceptional to work with! He is responsive, down to earth, professional and so extremely helpful! Planning through Covid has not been easy, but Greystone made everything stress-free and beautiful. Our day was everything we could have wanted and more. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and we cannot wait to get our pictures back! Everyone said how well the wedding flowed and stayed on track, and that was all thanks to Adam! When it was time for introductions, he found us. When it was time for dances, he found us. He made sure my now husband and I were enjoying ourselves and if there was anything he could help or do to make our day better, but he was always one step ahead of us! Adam was also our DJ and our dance floor was PACKED all night long! My pap was even out on there dancing the night away! The day after the wedding he also called to thank us for choosing Greystone, but make sure we were happy, enjoyed ourselves, and to see what was next in life for us. We couldn't be more grateful to have chosen Greystone and Adam!

Picturesque setting for a dream wedding

One visit to Greystone Field and we were in love! Greystone was the perfect location for our June wedding! The grounds were beautiful, flowers blooming, heart waterfall on the hill side, and countless places to capture the forever wedding pictures! We fell in love at first sight with all windows and openness the banquet room had. The patio offered our guest a chance to get some fresh air and allowed the little guests to run around before they hit the dance floor. Walking down the staircase as we were introduced as husband and wife will always be an unforgettable moment! Adam was on hand to make sure our needs were met and everything running smoothly. One year later, I still hear how wonderful our wedding venue was!

    Beautiful Venue, Great People

We had our wedding in October at Greystone Fields. The property is absolutely beautiful -- inside is bright, warm, and open with hardwood floors and plenty of space (our reception was about 170 people). The views outside from the MANY large windows are just great-- you're up pretty high, and out back you can see miles of rolling hills and beautiful trees. Around the sides and in front you see the well-kept and decorated grounds, with lots of great photo spots (trees, a rocky waterfall area, a gazebo with the view as its backdrop, etc). So yes, the venue itself is incredible, but what made the difference for us was the people and service.

Adam and his family run the place themselves, with Adam handling most of the details/planning (and DJing). Adam is so easy to work with, has great ideas, and is just honestly a very fun person to be around. He was very available and helpful (once even calling us back from his cruise vacation to follow up on a few questions we'd had), and he and his family were just a joy to work with overall. They are flexible with vendors but do recommend ones that they commonly work with -- these recommendations worked out great for us as well. We could not have put our wedding day in better hands, and would recommend Greystone Fields to anyone who wants the service and attention of a small family-run venue along with a setting, flexibility and overall professionalism that feels MUCH bigger.

Greystone Fields provides a wonderful wedding experience!

The site was beautiful. Adam was great to work with, very flexible and thought of many things that we would never have considered. We chose the all-inclusive package since we were not local to the location and the recommended vendors did a fabulous job. We couldnt have imagined a more perfect experience for our daughter's wedding and we have Adam and Greystone Fields to thank for it!

We fell in love with Greystone fields the moment we got there - it was exactly what we were looking for: big beautiful hall with lots of light, beautiful grounds around and a manager with great personality. We went with all-inclusive package so choosing vendors was easy. Adam was very helpful and definitely helped to keep the level of stress down. The price seemed a little high at first but it actually was very reasonable given everything that was included and there were a lot of options to customize things to make them fit our needs. Our wedding day was beautiful and we got a lot of compliments from everyone about it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking!

Greystone Fields is a spectacular wedding venue to hold both your ceremony and reception! As soon as we drove up to the facility we just fell in love! The inside is so bright, open, and clean. The surrounding grounds are breathtaking! I don't think it's possible to take a bad picture! We worked with Adam who runs the facility. Adam was super easy to work with, was flexible, knowledgeable, and has an all around great personality! We decided to go with the inclusive package that was offered which provides recommended vendors to choose from. Each vendor that we chose was fantastic! This made wedding planning so much less stressful and put us more at ease. While you still work directly with each vendor, Adam takes care of most of the details. Adam was also our DJ. He kept the party going all night long! Our guests kept commenting on how beautiful the set-up and feel of the venue was. All in all, we have nothing negative to say about Greystone Fields. We HIGHLY recommend!

Greystone Fields was great to work with. They are so helpful from the very start with the tour to the very end with tear down and clean up. I loved having my reception at this gorgeous venue. They have so much open space, natural lighting, outdoor seating, and beautiful views outside. It was nice to be able to offer my guests cool A/C and outdoor space without making them feel excluded from the wedding when they went outside. Fantastic wedding/reception venue!

My wife and I were married July 1st, 2017 at Greystone Fields, and would HIGHLY recommend that you make the same decision! From the moment that we toured the facility, to the moment that we walked out of the venue with left-overs and life-long memories, we were met with the most thorough, professional, and prompt service that we could have asked for.

Adam, and the rest of the Greystone team, were attentive to our ever changing needs, requests, and all of the last minute stressing out that Brides and Grooms (and their families) tend to do. However, with all of the tweaks that we sent their way, we were met with friendly, prompt, and unquestioning responses (which really helped to ease our wedding nerves).

The facility itself is meticulously maintained. The reception hall is bright, with high ceilings and tons of natural light. Our reception served 190 people, and there was more than enough room for guests, workers, and bridal party to move around. It was a warm July day, as well, and the air conditioning kept guests comfortable, while the vast open air patios allowed for guests to step outside for fresh air after they were done busting a move on the HUGE dance floor.

Adam has also assembled a team of extremely professional vendors that he recommends (upon booking the venue). These folks have been to the venue many times and have a great working rapport, and WILL be attentive to your needs when coordinating their services with Adam for your wedding.

One of our hugest concerns rolling into our wedding day was the ability to ENJOY OUR EVENT, and not be inundated with questions from vendors or facility employees. Adam fielded and handled all of the operational questions, allowing my wife and I to enjoy our party, and our guests, uninterrupted.

We highly recommend that you consider Greystone when choosing a venue.

    Thanks Adam (and team)!

We selected Greystone Fields for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding reception which was held two weeks ago. Everything was fabulous, and Adam was great to work with. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a lovely and welcoming place to hold their wedding reception. Everyone who attended the reception had high praise for Greystone Fields!

We had some history with Greystone as there used to be a soccer field on the site that the bride played on frequently in her younger years - so we (parents) watched the facility being built never realizing at the time that we would have her wedding reception there some day. We are so glad that we did. This is a family operation and the pride you expect from a family operation is clearly evident. The building and grounds are top notch. The facility is impeccably clean, bright and well maintained. Adam, Virginia and Paul went out of their way to ensure everything went smoothly on the wedding day - and it did. Delivering some items the morning of the reception, I got to observe the preparation of the building and grounds for our big day and was struck by the of attention to every detail paid to the cleaning and prep of the venue. As you might expect, every guest was overly complimentary of Greystone. I would say though that if your party is looking to tack and tape things up on the walls or have more of a beer blowout - not that those kinds of parties aren't great - but this might not be the best choice for you. It was the choice for us and we were very happy with our choice.

Great Venue. We had my daughters wedding there August 20th. The hall and grounds and beautiful. Adam was our DJ and MC. He did a wonderful job. We really appreciated his kindness and professionalism throughout the whole process. On the actual wedding day he was like part of our big family. We couldn't be happier. I say book it as fast as you can. It was a fairly tale day.

Searching for a wedding venue isn't easy, but when we happened to find Greystone Fields online, we decided to go take a look. One look - I was done. We booked it that day. Adam and the staff are amazing people. I never had to worry about anything regarding the venue, Adam and his staff had it covered, regardless of the size of my worry. They relieved so much stress, it was well worth the money spent. They did I'll the clean up and all we needed to do after the reception was take our things we wanted and they took care of the rest.

They are very accommodating because we were to get married outside...10 minutes before the ceremony it started to rain and they transformed the inside for a ceremony in minutes.

Everyone that attended said how beautiful the place was and they never saw anything so perfect. The day went off without a hitch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I wish I could do the day over!

Side note: I highly recommend Adam as a DJ too. He kept things moving and we didn't have to worry about time, he had it covered and he was great!

Greystone Fields was absolutely amazing! Ignore any negative reviews. This was the first venue my fiancé and I visited and we knew it was the one. We did not even bother looking at another location. The gorgeous landscaping and scenery immediately caught our attention, but the inside was even better. Extremely clean, comfortable temperature, and huge windows for natural light. We worked with Adam throughout the whole planning process and it could not have gone any better. It was pretty much like we had our own wedding planner which was great. Adam was also a great help when it came to choosing our vendors. He gave us suggestions on popular ones in the area. We even used him as our DJ and he kept the party going all night! Great sound from a small set up that allowed for a big dance floor! We had our ceremony on the grounds as well. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony but bad storms caused us to move inside. But we had no worries because Greystone can accommodate for an inside ceremony. I feel having it indoors was even better because my wife's entrance with her father walking down the grand staircase is something I will never forget. We have had so many compliments about Greystone from our guests. I honestly do not have one complaint at all. 5 stars!

We just had our daughter's wedding reception at Greystone Fields. I can't speak highly enough about the facility. Adam was a joy to work with. The facility is beautiful and pristine. Everything you need is right there. Beautiful dance floor, outdoor spaces with gazebo, waterfall, pond and firepit. Spacious porch areas with lovely wicker furniture so guests can enjoy the outdoors. Gorgeous landscaping. They did whatever they could to meet all our needs. I highly recommend Greystone Fields.

I had my wedding reception at Greystone Fields. I could not be happier with the turn out. The facility is beautiful and I absolutely loved working with Adam. So many brides I have talked to hated planning but I seriously loved it and I know for a fact that Adam played a part in making the planing process fun and enjoyable. Adam was very responsive via phone and email. He was always happy to answer questions and also to give any guidance or assistance. I highly recommend this venue to anyone. You will love it!

My Husband and I got married at Grey Stone Fields on October 4th, 2014. I do not know where to even begin to express such gratitude for this place. Adam was a savior and truly helped me have my fairy tale wedding. He was there for my husband and I throughout our entire planning experience. Any time we had questions or I was stressing out, Adam was there to give me great advice and ensure me that everything would go as planned. The place itself is breathtaking and I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to have my Wedding in such a beautiful place. The weather was pretty unfortunate on that day as it rained, hailed, thundered, lightning, and the weather was bitter cold. I never once had to stress out about the weather or moving my outside ceremony to inside. Adam, his family, and staff made sure I never once had to Stress out about anything. The staff was so kind as to lend me a jacket to wear while we got some pictures outside on their beautiful grounds and even grab a cheese and cracker platter for my husband and I while we took pictures. Such little gestures go such a long way and my husband and I were more than grateful. We were more than sad when the night ended because it was so hard to say goodbye to Adam, his family, and staff. There is not a thing we would change about our wedding day, all thanks to Grey Stone Fields.

Our wedding day could not have been more beautiful at Greystone Fields!
Adam and his family come together to provide you the greatest memories of your special day and they truly are there for your every need from the moment you first meet to your goodbyes the evening of your wedding day.
Adam was very flexible and understanding when things didn't got quite as planned or when they didn't run on time.
In times of stress as the bride Adam was there to help ease any situation that would interfere with the success of my wedding day.

I will always and forever cherish my and Aaron's beautiful wedding day May 31, 2014 at Greystone Fields.

I would recommend this Venue to any family or friend in the future.

Greystone Fields is such an amazing venue! It is gorgeous, spacious, and very well maintained. The Alexandrunas family is very accommodating and made our wedding planning and wedding day very stress free! Don't let the price scare you, as the preferred vendors are very affordable and allow you to get everything you want for your day within your budget! We could not have asked for a better place to get married!

Greystone Fields is a beautiful reception site. Adam and his family were extremely friendly and hospitable. They were flexible with my out-of-state family, in that, when we were able to visit, Adam made greystone available. The site was always extremely clean. Adam is wonderful and so friendly and professional.

I am writing just to let everyone know my exact opposite experience! I was married at Greystone Fields on Saturday May 21st, 2011, and it was an absolute DREAM!

Virginia and her entire staff were nothing short of amazing! They catered to my every need, and treated me like a princess the entire time. From the moment that we arrived on grounds for the rehearsal dinner until the wedding was over I truly felt that it was all about our event, and how we were feeling.

Any time that we had a question during the planning process she was prompt at getting back to us and her answers were almost always "YES." For any future bride that is looking into Greystone please do it! You will not be disappointed. Think about it, if you poured your life savings into a house or any other investment for that matter would you want someone coming in and doing whatever they pleased with the place? I think not!!!! And I know others have written complaining about extra costs for getting extra time. If you really look at that situation it only makes sense for them to charge for it. They have to travel to get there, pay for staff to be there while you are, and also put on the utilities while you are there. It would be like going to work, not getting paid, and then getting a bill for using the computer and the copier while your there.

Of all of the vendors we booked for the wedding, after reading the reviews I was most worried about Virginia and her staff at Greystone. I must say that she is the only vendor that I did not have a single issue with. She was the only vendor that I felt was in agreement that the day was about us, and not their needs. I wish I could post pictures of the amazing day that we had! AND I must say that the day would have not been as amazing if it weren't for Virginia and her staff.

By the time the reception was over I was sad to say goodbye to Virginia, her family, and her staff. I was happy however to say goodbye with a hug, because I truly felt that we had made great friends by the end of the event!

I fell in love with this place the first time I saw it and booked it for my reception immediately; but I started to get worried when I read some bad reviews. I called a couple people that used Greystone Fields for their reception and they did not have any problems. Everytime I met with Virgnia face to face she was very flexible to my needs and ideas (I had a ton of them). She is very strict but that is why this place has remained in spectacular condition. She knows what she is doing and looking back I wish I would not have stressed over using Greystone. I suggest if you book with them you use thier preferred vendors as I mostly did. She (Virginia, the owner) and her husband made my reception perfect. My guests were so impressed with Greystone, I had beautiful pictures, and one guest even mentioned that he was racking his brain all night trying to figure out what kind of party he could have next year so he could rent Greystone! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

My husband and I recently had our reception at Greystone Fields. We had a wonderful experience with Adam and his staff and would highly recommend them! The facility is gorgeous. Adam is very friendly and professional. We planned our wedding living out-of-state from this venue. Adam was nothing but accommodating to us. He is very quick to respond if you have any questions. He was very helpful during our wedding week and day. The facility inside is extremely clean. You can tell that they really take pride in their business. The outside grounds are picturesque making this facility perfect for any season. Multiple wedding guests told us that this was the nicest wedding venue that they have ever been to (we would definitly agree).

    **Ceremony only review
My wife and I were married at Greystone Fields on June 10 2017, and we could not be more grateful that we choose the venue for our ceremony. We had our initial meeting with Adam about a year before the ceremony, and my wife immediately fell in love with the venue. Our meeting with Adam was really straightforward, and he communicated everything clearly as far as costs for renting the venue. We might be the only people to ever just rent it out for the "ceremony-only" option (We would have loved the venue for a reception too, but we were dead set on a hotel because of guest transportation); still, payment deadlines and event timelines were clearly communicated to us, so we confidently signed a contract. We had such a positive experience in that initial meeting, and we got along so well with Adam that we ended up deciding to ask him to be the DJ for our reception which turned out to be another great idea because he was awesome, and the dance floor was packed all night.

Throughout the year leading up to our wedding, Adam kept in contact and was quick to answer any questions that my wife had. My wife is unbelievably organized in just about all aspects in life, so it was great for her to work with someone who was just as organized.

On the actual day of the wedding, the groomsman and I arrived at our designated time to set up a few extra things my wife and I had got for the ceremony before we got changed; however, Adam had already set everything up even though he did not have to. He kept everyone apprised of the time as we got ready in the awesome changing rooms at the venue. He even helped put some of the boutonnieres on the groomsman.

After the ceremony, we were allowed to stay on property to take photos as per our contract. During the photos, the owners made sure to stop by and comment on how beautiful my wife looked, how great everything went, and to see if we needed anything. They could not have been more gracious or accommodating.

Greystone Fields was an absolutely amazing location for our wedding reception! Adam and his family went out of their way to make sure that the wedding went off without a hitch - and it did! Adam was also our DJ for the night, and everyone was very impressed with how he kept the party going. Everyone pitched in to help us clean up and load our cars at the end of the night, and every step of the way through our planning process was very well thought-out and organized. We very highly recommend Greystone Fields for a beautiful wedding reception location.

If you want a beautiful venue, Greystone is it! The facility is perfectly manicured from the inside out. The large windows and huge front porch provided majestic views of the rolling hills and corn fields in the distance. Adam was great to work with and very professional. Our wedding reception was perfect in every way possible!

Greystone provided a beautiful, highly organized venue for our special day. If the weather is on your side, the photographs will be phenomenal. A clean, bright room with great options to choose from, if you have the ceremony on site. Adam and team were very precise, which some might see as demanding, but we loved that they were so on top of everything. He was flexible with meetings, too!

Wedding and reception at Greystone Fields May 2015. It was just perfect. They were completely on top of everything. They are very organized and only do one wedding per weekend so you get their full attention. They provided a list of recommended vendors, which we worked from, and everyone worked very well together. Really went off perfectly with little for me to do that day. I loved it because it was the best rain plan I found around, which is a real consideration in Pittsburgh in May. They have gorgeous huge windows that they would line up pew chairs along if it rained, and it still would have been gorgeous. The grounds are impeccably maintained and the gazebos, wicker furniture, and benches are great for getting people outside to mingle and relax. The light walls and light hardwood floor work well with most color combo's, especially light spring ones. The pictures are stunning. They definitely like things done a certain way, but that's because they know their facility and know what works. I would highly recommend Greystone Fields.

I started planning my wedding at the beginning of 2010. We went to an open house at the Atrium on 422 in Butler. Although the Atrium is very nice, there were a few things that we did not care for with it. One, we were on a budget and I did not like the fact that I only had certain choices to what would be included. Catering for an example, you had your choice of two different places to cater your food. I just figured, if I'm paying for this, I want it to be what I wanted it to be. Shortly after we went to the open house, I found Greystone Fields online. The pictures looked gorgeous so I called an made an appointment to go check out the place! The moment we walked into Greystone, we fell in love with it! It was EXACTLY what we were looking for! And the fact that I had the option to bring in whoever I wanted as vendors made it all the more better! I put a deposit down on the place in May of 2010. The planning then began. In July 2010, I read some very bad reviews of Greystone and it's owners. I got very nervous about my decision of booking Greystone. Everyone was telling me that I needed to find someplace else since I was hearing all this negative PR about it. But I couldn't give this place up. If I dreamed it, Virginia built it! For anyone that is looking for a beautiful place to get married, this place is it!!!! Through my whole planning process, Virginia and her husband were absolutely wonderful to myself, my husband and my family that was involved in the planning! Virginia took notes on everything that I would like for my wedding and made everything happen for us!
The price of Greystone might seem steep to some... however I would also like to say....if you have the time to plan, you can make it work! I took a year and a half to plan out my wedding and Greystone alone was half of my budget! However, I made amazing deals with the rest of my vendors that I brought in and was able to make it work! Time and careful planning means everything! I know there was also some bad PR on the contract for Greystone with hidden costs....The contract is lengthy, however, it is a general contract for everything, not just weddings, and alot of what is in the contract does not pertain to weddings. There were not any hidden costs in my eyes....It all depends on what you wanted if anything would cost you extra on top of the price of Greystone (for example, chair covers would cost you extra if you wanted to RENT them). There is also a security deposit, which should be expected when you rent anything!
I just want to reassure any Bride/Groom that this place is absolutely amazing! Don't let the bad PR deter you from checking it out! Virginia and her husband (the owners) are not as bad as they have been made out to be in some of these posts. I will say that they do have rules you need to follow. But, they have a gorgeous place and they spend a lot of time making sure that it stays beautiful! You can tell how much pride these two people have in their place and how much they cherish it. They want to keep it beautiful and that is completely understandable!
From day one, I never had a problem with Virginia or her husband. They were both very pleasant to my husband and I and my family! Virginia was very helpful in assisting me with any questions I had and spending time with us coming up with a decorating plan for her hall. She was nothing but good to all of us! Our wedding day was absolutely gorgeous! She and her husband made our dream wedding come true! Her family worked very hard the day of our wedding to keep everything running smoothly! We received so many wonderful compliments on how beautiful everything was from our family and friends and what a great time they had! For the money we spent to rent Greystone, it was COMPLETELY WORTH IT! I could not have asked for anything more beautiful!
Please if you are having reservations about renting this hall....DON'T!!!!!! Give it a chance. If you are good to Virginia, she will be good to you! Try to put yourself in her shoes and understand that they are just trying to keep their place beautiful and they are trying to run a business! They do any amazing job on keeping everything pristine and new!

We understand there is some not-so-good PR of Greystone Fields and the ownership and so we have decided to posted our experiences. We had our wedding reception at Greystone Fields in June 2009. We agree with another post that the contract is lengthy and we did find a few inconsistencies with it. We did request to have it ahead of time and so were able to dissect it. We met regarding the contract and the items we didn't understand or felt needed amended. I would not say that there are ‘hidden costs’ if the contract is in fact read in detail. The owner, Virginia Alexandrunas, is very particular and we did learn this also from vendors when we told them where our reception was to be held. We tried to put ourselves in her shoes...she has a beautiful place and wants to keep it that way and so this may be why she has so many rules, etc. So, if you decide to rent this venue, you need to be committed to her 'rigidness' so to speak. Also too, you need to understand that she is only providing you with a 'building.' You will need to provide 'everything' and set up everything yourself. We chose to go with John Marshall Catering (wonderful experience). We had 180 people at our wedding reception. John Marshall was able to provide us with all of the dinnerware, glasses, plates, cups, flutes, linens, etc. more cost-effectively than any of the packages Virginia offered. We chose to buy the chair covers and sashes ourselves online at efavormart.com as it was cheaper to buy them than rent them if you can believe that. We turned around and sold them so we made out. Virginia only gives you two hours the day of your event to set up. We felt that on our wedding day this was un-needed stress and so chose to ‘buy’ ..yes..buy extra time to set up. We paid an extra $50 to have an extra hour of setup time. The contract with Greystone Fields for an event is only for 5 hours. We decided to buy an extra hour for hundreds of dollars more….really…as if we weren’t paying enough thousands of dollars for the facility. It was in all…a lot of money. John Marshall worked with us to have the menu we wanted and he was wonderful. He took care of so much… no matter how many changes we made. He is very personal and professional as well as is his staff. His prices are very cost-effective, and his food is out of this world!! John was there to help with set up and took care of quite a few of the ‘little things’ that were not part of his job description. Everyone at the event loved his food and still tells us about it today. We would also like to mention that we used Jean-Marc Chatellier’s French Bakery in Millvale for our outstanding cake. We chose fresh strawberries and butter cream. Jean-Marc makes each cake himself and delivers and sets it up as well. It was absolutely delicious!! Our guests also commented that it was the best cake they ever had. We decided to go with Jean-Marc because he is personal and professional. He takes pride in his cakes and his costs were about the same as other well-known Pittsburgh bakeries who mass-produce wedding cakes. We loved his personal touch in matching our wedding colors and designing the cake as we wanted it. He also serves the entire cake. He gave us a certificate to get a free ‘top tier’ freshly made of our cake when we have our first-year-anniversary. His theory…”why should you eat year-old cake?” We love his theory!! Overall, our wedding was absolutely beautiful and so elegant. Greystone Fields is an absolutely beautiful place with so many windows to allow the natural lighting in. The hardwood floors and tall ceilings made our reception breathtaking. Guests enjoyed sitting outside on the front porch, back porch, side area with gazebo, as well as taking a walk around the beautifully tended grounds, arbor, and flowers. Everyone we talked with told us that our wedding was the nicest wedding they had ever been too and that Greystone Fields was such a beautiful place. We could really see our guests enjoying themselves rather than being bored or trapped in a stuff room. So, was the extra work and expense worth it to have our wedding reception at Greystone? We believe so. It was a perfect day! Our guests enjoyed themselves as did we. Greystone is perfect for someone who isn’t strapped to a budget, has the time and effort to plan, and is looking for an elegant venue. Sheryl & Scott

Greystone Fields is an absolutely gorgeous venue and my reception turned out to be a dream. All of my guests loved the grounds as much as the beautiful interior. It's a beautiful setting with a lot to offer, and I would not change having my reception there for anything in the world. However, the owners are definitely strict and rigid, and you have to be prepared to deal with that. They like things done a certain way and ensure that you oblige. This did add to my stresses and worries, but overall, I would not change having my reception there - it was well worth it!

We highly discourage using Greystone Fields in Gibsonia, PA. Our experience was so poor and misleading that we ended up walking away from our $2,000- deposit. For more information, please read our full review on the Better Business Bureau website (see link below). We hope others use caution when planning and avoid our misfortune. If you have any questions feel free to email us at jeffandchrissie2017@gmail.com and we would be happy to answer.

    Best wishes,

Let me start by saying that this site is absolutely beautiful...very scenic, outdoorsy, with lots of windows. This place can really transform into whatever you want it to be. The downside is dealing with the woman who owns and runs this facility. There were so many issues and conflicts with this woman, that I don't want to mention them all here...I will just name the biggest ones. (Although I am more than happy to discuss this with anyone who is interested so they don't make the same mistakes that we did!) First of all, we were not able to sign the contract when we gave the deposit because she supposedly "needed more information about our vendors." When we finally received the contract (which was about 1 month prior to wedding), there was hidden fees and charges throughout the entire thing, none of which were discussed prior to this. And, not one piece of information that was supposedly needed about the vendors was in the contract. When I tried discussing the situation with the owner Virginia, she demanded that we give her the balance due along with the signed contract otherwise threatened to give away the facility on the day of our event. My husband and I felt that we were manipulated and pushed into a contract with hidden fees and charges all over it. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, she was incredibly difficult to deal with primarily because of her poor customer service, ridiculous demands, inability to compromise, and her rude behavior (to not just myself, but my vendors and family as well). If you are considering this place, it is gorgeous...but know what you are going to have to deal with throughout the entire process. Although the multitude of wonderful comments we received about the facility were endless, I honestly regret having my wedding here purely because of this owner. She was incredibly difficult to reach, and just made every little thing so much harder than it needed to be, even on the day of the wedding. If you decide to have your wedding here, my advice is this: sign the contract when you give your deposit! If she gives you excuses, go elsewhere because she is going to try to pull the same thing on you that she did with us. I realized that what makes the wedding is not the place, but the family and friends that come with love and warm wishes. The other venue that we were contemplating with this ambiance that was just as beautiful as this place, was not only cheaper, but also the people there were so much nicer and accommodating was The Atrium on New Castle Rd in Prospect PA. Don't make the same mistake we did...hope this helps!!! :)
