The best of the best!

I cannot recommend Gilbert enough for any of your photography needs. From the first outreach, he was incredibly kind, quick to respond and very organized. We absolutely loved our engagement shoot that was included in our wedding package. Leading up to the wedding, Gilbert helped me talk through our timeline to make sure we hit all of the locations and got all of the solo/group shots we wanted. On the day of, Gilbert and his team were timely and professional. We had so much fun with them. When we got back our photos/videos we were amazed at how absolutely stunning they are. He captured our day so perfectly and now we have the memories to look back on forever. This was hands down the best money we spent on our wedding. Thank you to Gilbert and everyone on his team for a job very well done!

Best Choice

Wow, I gotta say, this was the best money spent for my wedding. My husband and I were first drawn to Gilbert's amazing photos on his website, and after meeting with multiple photographers, it was clear Gilbert was by far and away the best choice. His photos are to die for, but what really made our experience was his energy and personality, and his wonderful team. We worked with Gilbert, Corinna, Grace and Sara, the videographer, and I can't wait for the next event so I can hire them again.

We first took engagement photos with Gilbert and Grace, and they made us feel like rockstars-the shoot was comfortable and breezy, and Gilbert has such an eye for beautiful landscapes and elegant, effective moments. He also made it easy for our natural playfulness to shine, and we felt so comfortable on camera. And the photos.were.stunning. We got so many compliments on them. This was a great experience that led us to be confident that our wedding would also be comfortable and easy. (and it was!)

Gilbert went above and beyond helping us figure out the best wedding timeline, and even researched our family farm (the venue!) so he could come prepared on the wedding day. He was very knowledgeable about the industry but also was flexible and easily able to help us tailor a wedding that was very uniquely ours. He was a prompt responder and got answers to our questions thoroughly and quickly.

The whole team was wonderful on the day of. Capturing special moments while laughing and joking and also keeping us on track. (We were on time for the entire wedding, wow!) It was important to me that our photographers felt like part of the wedding instead of just watching from the outside, and I really felt like that was achieved.

All in all, Gilbert and his crew were just plain fun to be around. They made us feel good and calm during an event that has such high stakes, and because we felt comfortable, my husband and I were able to have authentic, easy, romantic moments together on the best day of our lives.

Please hire him. You can't go wrong, and you won't regret it.

Incredible !!!!

Hiring Gilbert was one of the best and most important decisions we made for our wedding. We loved working with him and his team for both our engagement shoot and wedding day. He was flexible, easy to work with and always responded quickly whenever we had any questions. He was very knowledgable and helpful when discussing timeline, photo locations and discussing potential shots we wanted on our special day. Most importantly, his photos are stunning. He had great vision and captured every moment perfectly. Our family and friends also enjoyed working with him and gave us endless compliments about how great the photos were. Amazing photos that captured memories for a lifetime

Amazing photographers! The photos are everything we could have imagined. We loved the style and artistic aesthetic. We used Greyes for our engagement and wedding photos. They were with us the entire wedding day and captured every special moment. Highly responsive and great communication throughout the whole process. We chose not to hire a videographer and still feel like absolutely every part of the day was captured. Hard to pick our favorite photos for sure.

10/10 Fantastic Photographer

I hired Gilbert for my own wedding after he photographed one of my best friends weddings that I was a bridesmaid in. Both experiences were fantastic working with him. I’ve been in a lot of weddings and Gilbert’s talent and professionalism is above and beyond. He gives very good direction, has an eye for detail, and was so friendly, accommodating, and professional throughout the whole experience. The photos turned out absolutely stunning. My guests were also raving about how he and his assistant somehow seemed to be everywhere and nowhere at the same time- In other words, they were exactly where they needed to be to get incredible photos without ever distracting from what was going on during our ceremony or reception. 10/10 recommend.

Amazing wedding photographer!

Being a wedding photographer myself I knew I wanted amazing photography. I had my eye on Greyes Photography for a few years actually. He was incredibly easy to talk to and made sure everything went smoothly on the wedding day. His attention to detail and art of making the images in a more editorial tone is what drew me to him. He also really knows how to use all kinds of light, natural light, flash, and video lights. He made some amazingly creative images that I will treasure forever. Turn around time was prompt and his communication was always on point! I Am so happy with my choice and can’t stop looking at my imagesetters . He created images that will adorn the walls of our home for a lifetime!

Best Wedding Photographer

Gilbert & his team were beyond amazing! They kept the atmosphere fun throughout the entire day and were so creative in the way they went about their shoot. He also provided us with different suggestions throughout the planning process and made sure we had all bases covered (i.e. rain back up plans), which were things we were not necessarily thinking about out of the gate. We can't wait to see how all the pictures turn out! Would highly recommend!

Excellent wedding photographer

Gilbert was absolutely awesome. We just received our photos and we’re stunned at how well they came out! We highly recommend hiring him for your big day.

We hadn’t met him before our wedding day but things went so smoothly that you’d think we had met before. His suggestions for locations, poses, and etc were excellent. He captured the essence of the day but also got a ton of cool, dramatic shots. The time available for our photoshoot was cut down by 1h30 by unexpected delays so we missed out on one location, but you’d never know that by looking at the pics. Hire him!

Gilbert is amazing

Gilbert was one of the very best investments we made for our wedding day. From our first meeting at a Starbucks all the way through getting our photos back Gilbert was professional, fun, and personable. For both our engagement and wedding photos, he had a good mixture of candid shots and ones where he directed what we should do. On the day of, he and his second photographer Karina were present but also discreet. His editing is great and he gave us a great range of photos from natural to dramatic. He has a great eye for detail and creative shots. We could not recommend Gilbert enough - he'll actually be photographing my best friends' wedding in a few months!

GReyes is the best investment you can make in preserving your wedding day.

I may never have a professional photographer take my pictures again, but if this was that one time, I'm thrilled that we got to work with Gilbert. We have only gratitude and praise to heap upon him and his team.

Gilbert made getting photos taken so much more fun than we could have ever imagined. I really appreciated that he was patient and relaxed, but also confident and precise in coaching us on how to look our best. Neither of us thought we would feel comfortable being in front of the camera, but Gilbert and his assistants made it easy and something to be excited about instead of nervous. The pictures we received from our engagement session are incredible - they're probably the nicest photos we've ever had taken of us. The editing of the photos is also beautiful and a testament to somebody who really knows what they're doing.

Greyes Photography is definitely the best decision we made for our wedding . Communication was great with Gilbert, he was very responsive and helpful. So nice, and so freaking talented!

We booked Gilbert in May for our September 2019 wedding. We took our engagement photos with him last month and just got them back, and they are AMAZING! Gilbert has such talent and such a way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. I have received so many compliments from friends, family, coworkers, even randos. I am so excited to get to work with him again for my wedding next year, because I know I can expect similar results. Hire this guy now, thank me later.

Simply amazing!

We did not have a huge budget for our wedding, but the one thing we did splurge on was the photography because we wanted to be able to enjoy our photos in the time to come. When I just started wedding planning, I came across GReyes Photography online and I knew instantly that I wanted them to be our wedding photographer. To my delight, they were not as outrageously priced as some of the other well known wedding photographers in Chicago. In fact, GReyes Photography is worth every single penny and more!

We had Gilbert from GReyes Photographer cover both our engagement photo shoot and our wedding, and the pictures from both event came out spectacular! Gilbert was such a pleasure to work with. He instantly put us at ease with his laid-back and casual demeanor (and at the same time so dedicated to his work). We were definitely one of those couples who were clueless in front of a camera, and he was able to coach us through the different poses to produce amazing photos. When we did have the rare spontaneous moments, he was also quick to capture them with his camera. We also appreciated how responsive they were to email and would often reply within 24-48 hours. In addition to our Chicago wedding, we had a another wedding ceremony in our home country and wanted the wedding pictures to come out in time for our second ceremony. The timeline was a little tighter than the usual turnaround time for the photos, but we reached out to Gilbert, and he was able to make it happen for us.

So many people have complimented how great our wedding pictures were. One person even came by my desk (where I have some of the wedding photos on display) and remarked how pretty they were as if they came straight out of a wedding magazine! I can go on and on about how much we love our wedding pictures and how amazing of a job GReyes Photography had done, but I'll keep keep it short and just say this - If I had to plan a wedding all over again, I would choose GReyes Photography in a heartbeat!

Probably the best in Chicago

Photography is our number 1 priority when searching for vendors for our wedding day. I came across Gilbert and his work while doing tons of research on photographers. I was very intrigued and fascinated by his style of photography. I felt it was very unique and honest. MOST of what you'll see online are just photographers who will slap filters to their photos, there's a certain sophistication in Gilbert's photos that drew us to him.

We were lucky enough to have him available for our date. He is reasonably priced (among the ones that we considered he had the best photos and the lowest price). He was very helpful during the entire process, he responded quickly to any questions we had and was very helpful when we needed help in various aspects of our planning.

Now for the good part, it RAINED on our wedding day. This is like my worst nightmare, I was almost sure that my photos will not turn out well. This is where Gilbert and his team shined. When we got our photos, we were so happy with them that we felt lucky it rained on our wedding day. Our photos were amazing. Our portraits where very unique and the candids made us feel like we were reliving our special day.

I cannot thank Gilbert and his team enough for making my dreams come true for my wedding day! If you are in search for a wedding photographer, you better contact Gilbert right away, you will not be sorry.

Amazing photographer

I received my wedding pictures last week and I can’t stressed enough how wonderful they all look. All of the pictures was high quality. You can tell that Gilbert and his partner did an amazing job. He certainly has an artistic way of capturing each and every single moment and it really shows. He was amazing to work with. GREYES IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!

I wish I could shout this from the rooftops to all the picky brides out there (I was certainly one of them!) and let you know you can stop your search for the perfect wedding photographer right now because you’ve just found him.

My fiancé and family can attest to my truly exhaustive search for a wedding photographer, pouring through websites, galleries and reviews — hoping to find someone who could capture beautiful candids and portraits and also get creative with artsy shots for us to frame in our new home. And when I came across Gilbert’s work, it immediately took my breath away and I knew he was the one.

He did our engagement session for us before our wedding and made us feel so comfortable right away, with his quirky jokes and friendly personality. And when we got our photos back, we couldn’t believe how AMAZING they were! His eye for framing and shot composure is unparalleled and the photos themselves could be magazine-worthy (except for the rookie models haha), with some really artistic angles of Chicago landmarks behind us.

Needless to say, we were so excited to work with Gilbert again on our wedding day! Our bridal party loved him and he kept us all genuinely smiling all day, which made for great photos :)

And speaking of the photos — OH. MY. GOSH. They are PERFECT. They exceeded my wildest wedding dreams in every possible way. They are the most wonderful depiction of the best day of our lives, with photos that give us all the feels — making us both tear up and smile.

Long story short, this picky bride never thought she’d find a photographer who could live up to her expectations... but Gilbert proved me wrong and gave me the most priceless gift, by allowing me to relive my wedding day through his unbelievable talent.

GReyes Photography is amazing! My now husband and I prioritized photography and we were picky! We came across GReyes Photography, loved their work, and after speaking with Gilbert, knew we had to hire them immediately. We planned our wedding long distance, and Gilbert was wonderful to work with in the planning stages. Over the phone, he was able to help us figure out our day of schedule. At the wedding Gilbert and his assistant were fantastic. Both of them were really friendly, fun, and put everyone at ease. This resulted in beautiful photographs. GReyes Photography truly captured our day, and going through the photos is like reliving our wedding.

And the photos are absolutely incredible! One of my bridesmaids commented that it looks like it's from a magazine. I came across Greyes Photography from friends that haved used them for their weddings. We're so happy we choose Greyes Photography. Gilbert and his colleagues were so fun to work with. My husband and I have never taken professional photos before so we were a little uncomfortable at first during our engagement session. When we found GReyes Photography, we knew they HAD to be our wedding photographer. Early on, we met with some other photographers who had nice portfolios, but did not match our personalities, and were highly overpriced.
Then we found GReyes, and couldn't believe their work and affordability! From the moment we met Gilbert at our engagement shoot, we knew we made the right choice! Gilbert is patient, hilarious, and so much fun to work with. We crawled through the grass with him and stood in the middle of Chicago traffic. Our trust in him paid off with spectacular results, and we could not wait to see what he would do at the wedding.
Our wedding was a full day cultural fusion with two ceremonies. Gilbert and his team arrived at 6:30am and were with us the entire day until nearly 10:30pm! Others have said this, and it is totally true, that Gilbert will lay down on the ground outside to capture the perfect shot. His work is so beautiful and well-composed! Gilbert is constantly up for a challenge – I don’t even know how so many of our photos were captured! In the end, we received nearly 1,700 edited photos documenting our wedding day.
Gilbert and his team were the ultimate professionals; well-dressed, polite, and half the time, unseen but very hard at work! You can’t go wrong choosing GReyes Photography for your big day! We’d do it again in a heartbeat!

We loved working with GReyes Photography!

I spent extensive time researching wedding photographers and when I found GReyes Photography, I was blown away by their artistic approach, appreciation for photography, and most importantly, an eye for capturing details and special moments. The price they charge was also very reasonable for the beautiful products they delivered. The photos of our wedding day beat our expectations, which were set very high after seeing the awesome work in their portfolio :)

Gilbert was a joy to work with from the very start. He was friendly, helpful, professional, punctual, and fun every step of the way. The communication was consistent, effective, and efficient.

The day of my wedding was very cold, cloudy, and windy, but Gilbert was prepared for a backup plan in the event the weather did not cooperate. He made photo taking enjoyable, natural, and fun!

Gil and Nessli were great to work with! I highly recommend them! They are both very efficient! Gil was great at posing us and taking pictures quickly! I cannot even begin to describe how incredible it was working with Gilbert and Nessli Reyes of GReyes Photography for our wedding! We recently received our wedding album and WOW… it turned out absolutely stunning! Actually, one of our bridesmaids recently got engaged and was so impressed with GReyes that they just booked them for their own wedding next October! They are honestly just incredible people and so much fun to work with!

My wife stumbled across their website while browsing Pinterest and we immediately became captivated by their extensive portfolio of gorgeous engagement and wedding photos. The photos were so creative and artistic, yet still unique and intimate.

Starting with our engagement photo shoot, Gilbert and his assistant went above and beyond to make sure that we were both looking our best, while still feeling at ease. We hopped around various spots in Chicago and Gilbert was able to compose phenomenal shots while going the extra mile to teach us how to “squinch”, pose and overall look our best. I'm not kidding when I say he literally fluffed my wife’s dress, fixed our hair, hung off railings and laid down in the middle of tourists on the new river walk trying to get the perfect shot! It's so awesome when your photographer is 10x more committed and invested than even you are when it comes to getting "the shot".

Gilbert is a true artist and we are so lucky that we were able to work with him and his team. Our engagement and wedding photos are truly perfect and we could not be more delighted with how everything turned out!

GREYES photography was recommended to me by a family friend. He was the first photographer we met with and my husband and I were sold as soon as he showed us his work. Gilbert was great to work with he was able to give both my husband and I explicit directions during the shoot, which was great because we wouldn't have know how to pose. He knew the proper angles that would show off my dress and knew what moment to capture during the ceremony and reception. He was also patient and friendly and got along with the bridal party.

We recently received our link to the gallery and he and his team was able to capture every moment and details that my husband and I missed. We mare so thankful that we chose GREYES to capture our Happily Ever After!

Photography is our top priority in the planning for our wedding. We looked at dozens of wedding photographers and we are so glad we went with Greyes. We could've have been happier in choosing GReyes for our wedding and engagement photos. They were extremely knowledgable and helpful, especially on our wedding day. Both Gilbert and Nessli were funny and so accommodating! They were able to send us a couple of pictures within 2 weeks so we could use one for a thank you card and between those and the engagement photos, the quality was excellent! Gilbert's photos are amazing!!!! He is so easy to work with and got all the pictures and even more!!! Gilbert and Nessli, they are such a great team to work with. They are professional and know exactly what you are aiming for. We cannot say enough about how amazing Gilbert and Nessli are to work with. They are incredibly talented.
A few highlights:
1) During our engagement shoot, Gilbert and Nessli went above and beyond to make sure that we were able to capture the right shots. They were flexible and creative and spent an EXTRA HOUR+ than agreed upon during a cold Chicago night to make sure our photos were right. Also, they made taking photos a super fun experience.
2) Gilbert was very proactive in planning our engagement and wedding day photo sessions. He took the time to talk to me for an hour before each one to brainstorm a plan for the day, the locations, and different shots I wanted.
3) During our wedding day, Gilbert and Nessli again went above and beyond. Even though they had a wedding the next morning, they made sure to stay extra late at night to capture the last part of our wedding exit with sparklers. That picture, by the way, blew everyone away.
4) Out of all the wedding details and vendors, we received the most compliments on our photos! A++++

5 STARS HANDS DOWN!!! Gilbert & Nessli are the best people. They really added to our wedding, and gave us the best photos I've ever seen. Worth every single penny. Wonderful people. When I first came across their portfolio, I was amazed! I was sure they had to be expensive and way out of my price range. But they're so reasonably priced for the work that you get!
They're super professional, but still fun. Great ideas, and have such a keen eye.

We met with Gilbert, and knew he was passionate about what he does. He had so many ideas just talking with us, and suggested what we could do in different scenarios (snow, low-lighting, rain, etc.). He laid out the plan for how his usual weddings go, and asked how we would feel about it.
We knew we wanted him as our photographer after meeting with him!

We met Nessli the day of, and she's so sweet! She and Gilbert work so well together. When they shoot together, they make sure to get all angles. When she's assisting Gilbert, she moves almost like his shadow. If he moves a couple inches, she knows where to move to compliment him. It was amazing watching them work together. They were a blast to work with, and made sure we were comfortable doing whatever. Gilbert was a pro at positioning and working with lighting/reflections.

The turn around time for the photos was fantastic! We had our images about five weeks after. We will definitely be using Gilbert and Nessli for whatever photo needs we have!!

GReyes Photography is the absolute way to go! Our pictures are spectacular. I filled out an inquiry form on their website and heard back immediately with my date being available. I reached out to a few photographers and this was the clear choice by far! Gilbert and I met to initially discuss what my husband and I were looking for, we went over the various packages and decided on one. A few days before the wedding, we had a phone call to discuss all of the locations/details for the day-of. Gilbert and Nessli showed up the morning of the wedding and immediately went to work. They provided every bit of direction I needed, they had shots in mind and they accommodated the specific shots I was interested in, too. They were only visible when they needed to be throughout the day, but still managed to get every shot I'd want. Their final product is nothing short of amazing. GReyes was recommended by a friend who does photography himself and who stood up in several weddings photographed by Greyes. So far we have had our engagement photos done with Gilbert and Nessli and they were awesome. Out of all of the photographers in the Chicago land area, they were the best in regards to total package value. Still more than I would have preferred to spend but compared to others they were the best. Package included all day photography coverage of the wedding day, an album, rights to print and share the pictures, dress changes for engagement session, several location spots, a great sense of humor and an amazibg artisyic eye. The photos are clean and so wonderfully taken. I didn't think that my fiance and Iwould really have looked so natural and relaxed in photos but Gilbert got it out of us. I am so happy we went with GReyes and I am looking forward to having them photograph our wedding day. You won't be disappointed either.

Gilbert and Nessli are FANTASTIC! A friend of ours used them for their wedding and when we saw their pictures, we knew we had to hire them for our wedding. They are both incredible people with unique, amazing creativity. They have a different vision for things than most photographers. They are very professional but also fun people to work with, which made it so much easier for us to enjoy our big day. Many of our wedding guests came up to us and were so impressed with how they managed to be everywhere and get all the shots without really being noticed or in the way- some people even referred to them as "ninjas!" I have been to plenty of weddings where the photographers were SO distracting, especially during the ceremony when all you should be focused on is your bride or groom to be- GReyes is the total opposite, which is great! We looked into 5 other photographers as well and GReyes blew everyone else away. I would recommend Greye's Photography to anyone. They were very professional and happy to answer any of my questions along the way. They consider Madison, WI part of their coverage area so there was no extra charge for travel. I went with Greyes Photography for my April 2014 wedding at Danada House and Gilbert and Nessli were absolute joy to work with from the start. I already knew my pictures will turn out beautifully because I had seen their work. However, after our initial meeting with Gilbert, I felt that they were genuinely excited for all the crazy ideas I had planned for my wedding. Being an asian, pictures definitely are big thing for me especially for my wedding so I was really very picky about choosing a photographer. I am really happy that a friend recommended Gilbert. Him and his wife, Nesli, are really easy to work with and very professional with what they're doing. We did our engagement pictures a week before our wedding because my fiance at that time, now is my husband, lived in California, and I was in Chicago so we could only do it when my husband got here. And they were flexible with their schedule which was really great. Although it was freezing cold out as we did it in downtown Chicago, the pictures turned out great. They brought hand warmers for me and my husband, even if they really didn't have to do that. It was really nice and thoughtful of them. We didn't even think of bringing it for us to use but they did and we were glad they brought one because if they didn't, I don't think we would have lasted long in that weather because our fingers and toes were already numb and nearly got frosbites!! It was below 20 degrees at that time, we did it February of this year. We got married at The Seville on Valentine's day and in less than 2 months, the pictures are already available online....and the pictures are fabulous!!! I couldn't have asked for better pictures....I'm really happy with all the pictures... I'm really happy that our photographers were Gilbert and Nesli!!! Definitely would recommend this couple!! We were so unbelievably happy with our Wedding Photos. They really captured the moments that meant the most to us by instinct alone. The photographers were so friendly and fun which made the day more relaxed and enjoyable. We have gotten so many compliments on our photos such as, "these are honestly the best wedding pictures we have ever seen." Not a lot of people say that, and we heard that from several people who have been to numerous weddings.

We were also grateful at how accommodating they were. My husband and I were planning a wedding in Chicago while we were living in North Carolina and they made it so easy for us by communicating via skype and phone. They also made adjustments to the packages since we were unable to travel for an engagement session.

Our first experience with GReyes Photography was during my proposal to my now wife. Gilbert was recommended by a videographer friend, and it was perfect! He helped capture that perfect moment, and we couldn't wait for him to be a part of capturing our wedding day!

First of all, communication was great, and we were always able to know what was happening leading up to the wedding. They were great with handling travel arrangements.

The poor guys had to do a wedding the night before ours, but they sure didn't show any signs of slowing down! We had a HUGE wedding (400+), and they were able to capture so many of the important details of that day.

The pictures turned out great, and they strike a great balance of maintaining the integrity of the original setting, while still providing quality enhancement of the specific moments and people we were hoping to capture.

LOVED all of our wedding photos from GReyes. Gilbert and Nessli did such an amazing job capturing our big day. They arrived early and were so easy to work with all day! They made myself, my husband and the entire bridal party feel so comfortable throughout the ceremony and reception. We so appreciated their flexibility as well when the wedding ceremony and pre ceremony pictures were rained out and had to be moved inside! We cannot say enough lovely things about them and their work, so happy that we went with GReyes!

GReyes Photograhpy was truly amazing in making the wedding photo sessions easy, fun, and stress-free. Photographer Gilbert Reyes showed as much enthusiasm in making every moment special and memorable as is his passion for the art of photography itself. I have never really been a big fan of expressing my true self in front of the lens and have always been camera shy, which was a bit nerve wrecking pondering on it days leading to the big day. But, on my big day, I was taken aback by Gilbert and his assistant's ability to have everyone be their natural, raw self in front of the camera. He goes out of his way to take unique and special shots that really bring true beauty out of the main subject. He is very much aware of incorporating natural light and candid moments to give the picture meaning and substance. Furthermore, GReyes exemplifies true professionalism; keeping his word of his dead lines for when the photos will be ready for viewing. I cannot say enough about Gilbert's skills and great talent because words cannot bring his photographs to justice. You must simply see them on canvas. Thank you Gilbert, Nessli, and Irene for your wonderful service!

I worked with Gilbert, Irene, and Marlin the day of our wedding. When we first met with Gilbert, we were just planning on taking all of our pictures at the venue for our ceremony and reception and the first thing he told us was that all the pictures would be the same! Duhh...so what does he do?! Jumps on his iPad and starts looking up parks in the area where we were being married. He was so easy and wonderful to work with from the beginning. Even though having our pictures taken else where was not on our original plan, he didn't seem to mind at all! Gilbert and his team came to the salon where I was having my hair done and even though the salon is on the smaller side, you couldn't even tell they were there. Even the owner had commented on how they were like ninjas! During our ceremony and reception the crew was just fantastic. Gilbert is so easy to work with; very funny, laid back, and super friendly and patient! They have changed their prices since we booked them, but I think that they are worth every penny. If I ever needed pictures taken for such a big event, Greyes would be the company I would chose!

Gilbert was amazing! We got our engagement photoshoot with Greyes. Both, my fiancé and I were shy and hesitant but Gilbert did a brilliant job capturing all the moments. He was also extremely accommodative and had reserved an additional day as backup in case weather in Chicago plays spoilsport (I was traveling from the west coast). We loved the pictures and can't stop looking at them,

Gilbert was amazing - he really took charge and "corralled" our wedding party well. He got a lot of amazing shots - including all the ones we asked for. The photos are absolutely gorgeous and they were delivered to us in a timely manner. For an independent photographer, he was one of the most affordable, but still delivered work well beyond what we imagined.

When we first sat down to plan our wedding and thought about what was important to us, my now-husband and I agreed that we wanted to make sure we found a great photographer. My husband, our families and friends have all marveled at the quality of the pictures Gilbert takes. From our first interactions by phone and then in-person, Gilbert was engaging, thoughtful and enthusiastic. We selected a package that included engagement pictures, and we feel he captured several terrific photos. When it came time for our wedding day, he arrived promptly and with a smile. He and his team of assistants took many, many pictures throughout the day. Gilbert definitely heard our requests for certain things we wanted to have photographed, and he did not disappoint. As we celebrate our one-year anniversary, we are thrilled with the quality of pictures Gilbert took as well as with the quality of the book Nessli helped us design.

Stunning Photos from an Amazing Team

Gilbert and his team photographed our wedding at the Gardens of Woodstock on 9/15/23. We were so appreciative of their professionalism throughout the entire day and their patience putting up with our loud, crazy family! The pictures turned out absolutely STUNNING and we were blown away by how creative they were by taking advantage of the landscape around the venue including the trees, plants, reflections in the pond and reflection in mirrors. We will be admiring our pictures for years to come and highly recommend them for anyone wanting truly magical photos of their big day. We can't thank you enough!

Gil and Nessil are hands down the most EPIC photographer power couple!!!

I did a TON of research before booking a photographer and really wanted photos that were more artsy/modern/sleek and not just your average wedding shots. When I saw their website I was SOLD and was panicking about how much they were gunna be. To my surprise they were almost 1/2 the price of some of the big names in Chicago and 5x better!!!!

I cannot tell you how many people ask me about who did my wedding and engagement pictures. All of my friends and family commented on how cool they were (and we all know as someone in the bridal party- pictures are the worst part!!!).

You are making a HUGE mistake if you don't book them!

I am a photographer myself, so hiring one particular person who would meet my expectations was the absolute most important detail of my wedding. My worst nightmare became a reality, and they double booked our day.

The person behind the magic of the stunning photos you see on their site are from the talented owner. We ended up getting someone else, someone who's work I had never even seen. Our pictures lacked all creativity. What we got was typical wedding photos, many with poor lighting choices. Our day was documented fully, but not with the style I had hoped for.
