Top notch!

My husband and I purchased our wedding bands from Greenwich St. Jewelers, and we couldn't be any more pleased or happy. They have a huge selection of men's wedding bands compared to other jewelry stores. Dana helped us with our selection, and she was knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The store kept us informed and up-to-date with our order. Cannot say enough good things about our experience and treatment. Amazing experience!

GST is Best In Class

Getting our wedding rings from Greenwich St Jewelers was such a treat. We absolutely loved the entire experience from first going to the store to meet with Dana, to choosing how to reset our heirloom stones, to the final delivery. I absolutely love my ring and I'm so pleased with the professionalism, service, and experience at GST. I also love that they're a small, women-owned business who are also best in class. Huge shout out to Dana for her incredible work!

Excellent!

My husband got my engagement ring here, which I absolutely love, and so we went back for our wedding bands. They have a great assortment of unique pieces, standard pieces, and will basically customize anything for you. They aren’t pushy, and really work with you to find the perfect piece. Everyone we’ve worked with has been super helpful and kind.

Greenwich St. Jewelers was recommended to us by Joel at Crawford Jewelry & Watch Co., as my fiance (now husband) was interested in a meteorite wedding band, and Greenwich St. carries some Chris Ploof, which is one of the few designers we were able to find with that material incorporated. We worked with Grace, who was very helpful and not salesy or pushy at all! My fiance loved the meteorite ring that was on display, and it fit him perfectly, so we moved forward with purchasing it right on the spot. The transaction itself was seamless, and we have no complaints! A small, well kept and well run store. No pressure, all professional, knowledgable staff!

When I decided that I wanted to propose, the most daunting and fear inspiring task was finding a ring. I had a plan for how to ask and an enthusiastic eagerness to ask. I had even secured permission from her parents months earlier. But I was scared to death about picking a ring. I had never done it before. I didn't even know where to start. When I finally searched for locally owned jewelers in NYC, Greenwich Street Jewelers popped up and I am so lucky it did. From the moment I walked in, Christina set about making me comfortable and easing my fears. She started by offering me a drink - champagne or even whiskey. She then listened carefully as I bumbled about what I thought Tara liked in jewelry and started coming up with examples. She made everything so easy and even coordinated to have a ring custom made to blend different elements that I wanted. The custom made ring was ready in time for my planned proposal date and it was stunning.

We went in together a few weeks after getting engaged so Christina could meet Tara. Again she gave us drinks and showed a tremendous interest in us. She also didn't try to start selling us on wedding bands. She showed that she cared about being part of this joyous time not just selling jewelry.

We did go back before our wedding to pick out a band for Tara. More of the same amazing customer service and another gorgeous ring that perfectly compliments her engagement ring.

We're so grateful to have found such an amazing jeweler to make our engagement and marriage more special.

I can't recommend Greenwich Jewelers highly enough! My fiance and I picked out the engagement ring together and it was a really special experience. They gave us champagne, which helped make us feel celebratory instead of overwhelmed. We worked with Lauren and felt well taken care of every step of the way. After we settled on a band together, my fiance went back separately and picked out the diamond from Lauren. I don't know about you, but there are apparently a LOT of things to know about diamonds! Lauren was helpful, patient, and not at all sales-y. She helped him make a decision that worked for our budget and looks AMAZING.

We will definitely be back to pick out our wedding bands here. :)

There aren't enough stars on here for Greenwich Jewelers! My husband and I first visited before we got engaged to explore different ring options and styles since we both knew very little and had no idea what I wanted. We really had no idea where to start and were a little intimidated, but we were lucky enough to be helped by Mary Herouvis who was amazingly warm, welcoming and knowledgeable from the start. I tried on dozens and different styles and designs and Mary was so helpful in helping us narrow down what we liked without making us feel pressured us at any point. We kept in touch with her and came back to the store a second time to see her so I could try on more designs. She helped us find "the ring" - a beautiful vintage-inspired ring by Meghan Thorne and my fiance worked with Mary to secretly get the ring and surprise me at a later time.

During our wedding planning process, we knew Greenwich Jewelers was the only place we wanted to go for our wedding bands, so we went back to see Mary again and she helped us both pick beautiful and very unique rings. The process could not have been more enjoyable or easy. A few days before my wedding, I went back to see Mary again to get my ring steam cleaned (another nice perk of Greenwich Jewelers!) and it was like seeing an old friend again. We can't recommend Greenwich Jewelers and Mary highly enough!

My husband went there for my engagement ring, and then for both our wedding rings. They have a wonderful selection of jewelry and rings, and I am obsessed with both my rings. I am extremely particular about the jewelry I wear, and both my rings I feel like reflect my personal style and are interesting yet timeless. When we went there to pick up our rings, I also saw a pair of gorgeous blue earrings that I ended up wearing at the wedding. Beautiful selection and very helpful, knowledgable staff!

Love, love, love my engagement ring that came from greenwich jewelers. My fiancé worked with Lauren and picked such a beautiful vintage inspired ring designed by single stone. We recently went to pick out my wedding band during a single stone trunk show. Our experience with greenwich jewelers and Lauren has been nothing but amazing!!!

After a long day looking at rings in the diamond district, we left the big name stores and headed to Greenwich Jewelers. Now, don't get me wrong, we saw beautiful rings at Tiffany's, De Beers, Harry Winston, etc., but the variety of styles was pretty limited. Each of those stores had their current signature styles and it didn't take long to realize those styles didn't fit OUR style.

Greenwich Jewelers carries several designers with a broad range of styles. Heaven! Especially if you are looking for a vintage inspired piece, this is

Christina and her team at Greenwich Jewelers are wonderful! I visited many jewelers (both with and without my then boyfriend) in attempt to decide what kind of engagement ring I liked best, and Greenwich Jewelers stood out from the others with their selection, kind staff, great service and patience. We went twice and I tried on many gorgeous settings to narrow it down and get a good sense of what I wanted. They were very patient while I tried on ring after ring. Then when a family diamond became available, we worked with Christina to design a custom setting. Her expertise was clear and she provided great guidance that helped to narrow down what I really wanted and create the perfect setting – classic and delicate, with some unique touches that really showed she understood our requests. I was not surprised to learn that her team also designed the custom setting for a friend’s ring, which I had long admired. My now husband also raved about his experience, which I know can be stressful, and they made it very special for us both. I was still a little nervous not knowing exactly what it would look like (I wanted to be surprised), but when my husband proposed and I first saw the finished product, I was blown away - it couldn't have been more perfect (and it's safe to say I'm a bit particular). We highly recommend them!

Getting engaged on vacation in New York was a heady experience. My fiancé wanted to get me my ring in New York. We went to the obvious choices, Cartier, Barneys, Tiffany, but left feeling kind of cold meh. Then when we were down in the Wall Street District, we stumbled upon Greenwich Jewelers. All I can say is WOW. Under the heading of one of the best experiences ever, the staff at Greenwich were so warm and helpful - and Amanda is the BEST! She really took the time to "get" my style, and as a result, I have the perfect engagement ring. I really recommend Greenwich!!

My husband and I purchased my engagement ring and our wedding bands from Greenwich Jewelers. We had done a ton of jewelry research prior to going engagement ring shopping and had visited a few other places including one famous/extremely large jeweler here in NYC that left me feeling overwhelmed and like I was just randomly picking things to try without any assistance or suggestions. Greenwich was the TOTAL opposite of that experience! They actually HELP YOU find what you want and narrow things down even if you can’t describe the things you like/don’t like very accurately. And they aren’t at all pushy. Our experience was totally relaxed and pleasant….they even offered us champagne! Greenwich has a beautiful selection of rings (and other jewelry) and although I had many designers in mind, they recommended a Bridget Durnell ring – something completely unique and gorgeous – and it ended up being the perfect choice! I get so many compliments on it from people saying it is so unusual and beautiful. We were so pleased with the engagement ring that we returned to purchase our wedding bands later in the year. The only hiccup was that my wedding band had to be custom-made – a shadow band to my engagement ring, and there was some confusion and a bit of a delay on that being made, but ultimately they worked to ensure that I received everything in time for when we needed it. We would certainly recommend Greenwich Jewelers!

We had an engagement ring passed down to us through my fiance's family, and I needed it resized and possibly reset. Greenwich Jewelers did a wonderful job with my ring. They resized it, and also inspected it to make sure that none of the stones were loose. I'll be going back to them every year to have them clean and do a little ring maintenance.

One of the aspects of this place that I really loved was the professionalism. I didn't get any sneaky sales pitches. They asked me what I wanted to have done, discussed my options, and then did what I wanted to have done. Such a relief to find a jewelry place where I don't feel like I'm talking to a car salesperson!

My (now) husband and I are OBSESSED with Greenwich jewelers. After 5-10 years of stalking engagement rings, I came upon a Beverly K piece that had my name on it-it fit me more than anything else I had "loved" over the years. We booked an appointment and our relationship with the company began. There were ENORMOUS issues with our custom design's creation but Jennifer (the owner) was with us every step of the way. When my fiance finally was able to pick up the ring, he found it placed on a VIP shelf along with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and a hand written note from Jennifer. We went back for wedding rings and were extremely successful with the help of Lee. Their staff has stayed in regular contact with us through our preferred method of communication while working on each of our specialty pieces. The prices are completely reasonable but the service is beyond compare. As a result, I entrusted the engraving of my unique, antique bridesmaids gifts to Greenwich Jewelers and was impressed with the results. I now am working with them on some custom designs and continue to be impressed by their professionalism, communication, and passion for their work. Every person in the place loves jewelry and stories and makes you feel comfortable and taken care of from the moment you walk in the door-whether you are buying today or not!!! There is no better place to shop for jewelry in the city-especially for those of us who are not made of money but would still like to have a "go-to" jeweler for special occassions/cases.

I spent a year searching for the perfect engagement ring. I wanted something unique that no one else had. Something timeless and that captured my personality and style. I came to the conclusion that I needed to design my own ring. Greenwich jeweler's staff is 5 stars all the way. They scoured the United States for a my center stone and presented about a dozen different options to me...all different sizes and cuts. I found one that was perfect and combined it with two diamonds that my Mother-in-law graciously gifted to me. The end result was a custom made three stone ring that left me speechless. Gavin, the jeweler, also custom made my wedding band. I love both and receive so many compliments. I highly recommend Greenwich Jewelers.

My fiance purchased my engagement ring here and we later went back to design my wedding ring. Both rings were custom made for me and are works of art. He had done quite a bit of research on diamond and setting shopping and was very prepared for any misinformation. He got honesty and beautiful diamonds to choose from.

We purchased wedding bands for both myself and my husband at Greenwich Jewelers. We had such a great experience here!

You get personal, one-on-one attention, and the staff is very low-pressure and helpful. There's no markup for being a "known" jeweler (like there is at Michael C. Fina and others). My ring was delayed in production (a fault of the designer since I was having it made in a custom metal), but they updated me on the ring's progress every step of the way.

We also loved the contemporary style of the rings they carry. There are certainly traditional options too, but much of their stock reflects current aesthetics. If you're more of a hipster/indie bride, there are definitely options for you here.

We liked them so much we already have recommended them to friends!

Greenwich Jewelers was recommended to us by a friend, and I am pleased to say our experience was as positive as hers. We purchased both of our wedding bands here, and also got my engagement ring sized by them. We worked with Jennifer, who was extremely helpful and attentive to what we would actually like and would match with my existing jewelry, rather than just trying to upsell me into something flashier. We didn't even place our order the first time we visited the store, but she didn't pressure us, and I felt very comfortable going with them in the end. The sizing service on my engagement ring (custom made elsewhere) was great - fast turnaround and now a perfect fit. 100% recommended.

After my then-fiancé proposed, we searched for a jeweler to help design my engagement band. Greenwich Jewelers was such a pleasant surprise. It's a small, family-owned place that really takes care of their customers. They helped us work within our budget so I could get exactly what I wanted. We were so thrilled with my engagement ring that we returned a year later to select both of our wedding bands. We will definitely return for our jewelry needs in the future, and would wholeheartedly recommend everyone visit Greenwich Jewelers!

When my fiance started looking for engagement rings he came across Greenwich Jewelers. As soon as he proposed he could not stop talking about how wonderful Christina was and he insisted we go there to pick out our wedding bands. Throughout the process of designing the engagement ring--which included using a stone from my grandmother's engagement ring and sourcing conflict-free diamonds specifically from mines in Canada--Greenwich Jewelers was exceptionally professional and accommodating. The value for what you get is unbeatable and Christina made the often daunting process of picking out rings stress free and enjoyable. We can honestly say that Greenwich Jewelers will be our go-to jewelers for the rest of our lives. We have and will continue to recommend that all our friends and everyone shop at Greenwich Jewelers.

We went to Greenwich Jewelers at the recommendation of a friend and are so glad we did. We worked with Jennifer and she was very knowledgeable about diamonds and was really helpful to us throughout the entire process. We ordered my engagement ring, and both of our wedding bands from Greenwich, and are very pleased with all three of them. In addition, Jennifer helped me with special ordering earring and necklace sets as gifts for my bridal party and they were very happy with them. This store is so wonderful! I had heard good things about them and originally went in because I was looking for a necklace to match a pair of earrings I had wanted to wear to my wedding and had searched for months to find it. I ended up working with Christina who worked there to custom make a piece. It turned out so wonderful and the whole staff there actually worked with me to make sure it lay perfectly, (they re-did it to make sure it was perfect after I tried it on) and I can't not say how fabulous they were. . so attentive, creative and professional. Really there service was beyond anything I could have expected, made me feel like the whole store was working to create a work of art for me!! We also got my husband's wedding ring there which he loves, and he had a custom bracelet made for me as a day of surprise that matched the necklace too! Honestly I can not say enough good things about them. I don't think i will ever go to another jewler again!!!

Wonderful family-owned and operated jewelers. Best experience we had with any vendor. My engagement ring was a custom design they had already been making when I visited looking for a ring for my diamond. Turns out as I was describing what I wanted, they realized I was describing almost exactly this custom ring they were working on in the back. It was *exactly* the style I was looking for, sort of vintage looking, knife-edges, and set up for two rectangle baguette stones on the sides. PERFECT!

Liked my experience so much, took my fiance back when we wanted to get our wedding bands. I had them custom make my band to match my engagement ring and it came out beautifully and both bands turned out to be much less expensive than what they had thought, so we were able to afford our dream bands. If we ever need high-end jewelry again we will only use Greenwich Jewelers!

We went shopping for engagement rings at Greenwich Jewelers and I ended up buying a beautiful Single Stone ring there, which my wife loves (as does everyone else).

Lauren Naber at Greenwich Jewelers helped her try on rings, and also assisted me in purchasing the ring. Lauren knew her stuff, and was great at finding rings that fit my wife's style. The fact that we can come back at any time to get the ring cleaned is a very nice bonus.

We ended up working with Lauren again to buy our wedding bands at Greenwich Jewelers, which we are both very happy with.

Side note, another bonus is at they give you a beer (or champagne, or water) when you come in to look at (or buy) stuff :)

My fiance and I love this store and their unique pieces. My fiance bought his wedding band here and Christina and her team are amazing, friendly, and professional. My husband and I went to Greenwich Jewelers for our wedding bands on the recommendation from a close friend. They had a great selection within our price range and really enjoyed our experience. Once we gave them our budget, our sales associate didn't show us anything outside of it and I really respect her for that. We love our wedding bands and will definitely be visiting for future jewelry!

Wonderful service! I wasn't sure I wanted an engagement ring because I couldn't find a setting I really liked, Lauren did a great job helping me pick out a setting for my grandmother's diamond and making sure it was exactly what I wanted. My fiance and I weren't sure we wanted wedding rings, when we finally decided Greenwich Jewelers was able to rush order them so they arrived in time for the ceremony. After a few weeks I realized the band was too small and the ring was too big, they didn't hesitate to help me adjust the sizes. Thank you Greenwich Jewelers!

Beautiful selection and wonderful staff

We ended up working with Greenwich St. Jewelers for both my rings, my husband's wedding band, and also a custom necklace re-setting my grandmother's wedding rings. We could not have been happier with the service we received there! Amanda (who has since left) and Mary were so attentive and listened until they completely understood what we were looking for. They went out of their way to make sure that we found the perfect thing, and Mary went above and beyond in designing the custom pendant. The shop is lovely, their selection is impeccably curated, and everyone who works there is super sweet. I will say, don't come here if you're looking for a deal - we went over budget, but given that these are the things we'll wear every day for the rest of our lives, we decided it was worth it to have the best quality and get exactly what we wanted. I'll be sad not to have a reason to shop there again any time soon!

Greenwich Jewelers is an absolute dream to work with. They are honest, super knowledgeable. accommodating and very helpful. Their jewelry selection is very unique. I even had some repairs done there and they were fast, reasonably priced and very high quality. Greenwich will be the only jeweler I use for now on.

My husband and I found Greenwich Jewelers through NY Magazine and bought my engagement ring and our wedding bands there. We loved the small size of the store and their selection. We highly recommend it!

We worked with Lauren N. throughout the process. When we first met with her, we were looking for an engagement ring together, and we didn’t know what to expect. We were a bit anxious and hadn’t nailed down our final price range. Greenwich Jewelers was the first and only store we visited because we felt so comfortable with Lauren. She was extremely knowledgable and friendly, but most of all, she didn’t pressure us in the least. Lauren supported our vision and advised us on diamonds and metals. She encouraged us to consider everything and make the best decision for ourselves. After we were engaged, we moved away from NYC, but we made a visit back to work with Lauren on our wedding bands. We didn’t want to go anywhere else!

As for their selection, both of my rings are from the designer Single Stone in Los Angeles. They’re designed to look vintage, are delicate, and unique for our generation. I’ve gotten so many compliments on them! My husband’s matte, rose gold band is also unique. We couldn’t be happier with the service and our jewelry. We recommend working with Lauren. You won’t be disappointed!

We used this jeweler for my engagement and wedding band. They can make anything in platinum, which is a plus if you have metal sensitivities. Their designs are very unique. They don't just have the same cookie-cutter rings you've seen over and over again. My rings are very vintage looking and could easily pass for heirlooms. I love them! Plus, the service is excellent. They don't pressure you and are mindful of your budget. There's a lot of snobbery in the Manhattan jewelery industry, so it's refreshing to go to a place where everyone is just friendly and helpful. The prices are consistent with other jewelers, and it's not a great bargain, but they're not out of line either. Plus, they give you free maintenance on your rings, and they will give your rings a quick steam clean if you pop in. For the service and selection, I highly recommend them.

Everyone at the shop was lovely and helpful. They were the only ones who carried the designer that I loved, Mark Schneider. The ring, aurora, is beautiful. They came up with a great alternative metal band for my husband (stainless steel, cheap and awesome). My only complaint, my husband didn't do his research and didn't realize that the color would look different in daylight then under their lights. He didn't see a difference so went with the cheaper rock, which looks yellow and kind of gross in bad lighting. I wish they would have warned or taught him a bit, but maybe we'll upgrade for a future anniversary to a more colorless stone. I have to say the ring gives me so much happiness and many many people compliment me on how beautiful and unique the design is. I highly recommend you visit them If you're in NYC.

I love all the jewelry in the store - everything is just beautiful. So I did not have a problem finding an engagement ring and band that I liked in the store. I would recommend giving yourself a lot of time though, in case of problems.
First, they misplaced our order for our bands, including my husband's ring size. So, he had to get re-sized, and we had to place the whole order again. Second, when the bands arrived, my husband's was the wrong band - he wanted one that was absolutely plain, and the one that came had some lines etched into it. So, they reordered it.
In the end, we complained about having two different problems that caused us to make extra trips to the store, which was out of our way etc. And they did give us a credit toward a future purchase. This was great because I put it toward jewelry I wore on my wedding day - beautiful Swarovsky crystal earrings and bracelet.
Despite the issues we had, I still recommend them based on the quality of the items they carry, and the wide selection.

My fiance had my grandma's diamond set in a beautiful new Danhov setting that I get tons of compliments on here. People told us to go to someone in the diamond district, but we loved the delicate setting and didn't want to try to recreate it (though maybe a jewler could have). So, happy we went there for the engagement ring (especially since we had an heirloom diamond and didn't have to pay GJ for the diamond. We live in the neighborhood and were pleased with our engagement ring experience (we've enjoyed working with Amanda L.), so we went back for our wedding bands. The process was easy and efficient.

My only complaint is that having given this store engagement ring and wedding band business, I was disappointed to learn that they don't lend out jewelry like other jewelers do. I was hoping to borrow a pair of earrings for the wedding, since I'd prefer not to spend $1K+ on a pair I'll probably hardly ever wear. No such luck unfortunately! But overall, recommend for people looking for engagement rings + wedding bands.

We got my engagement ring from Greenwich Jewelers. I had seen the ring on pinterest and tracked it down to a ring from Single Stone that was at Greenwich Jewelers. The first time we went by, they weren't open. Make sure to check online for their hours because they are shorter on the weekends.

Everyone was very nice there. They offered us some tea or hot chocolate (it was in the winter) and showed us a bunch of rings. When they brought out the ring that we had come to see, I knew it was the one. It was so beautiful. They had the ring resized without any problem from the makers of the ring and sent right back to Greenwich Jewelers for pick up. Their other jewelry is also quite lovely.

My fiance got my engagement ring at Greenwich Jewelers (his sister is a longtime customer) and insisted we go back for our wedding bands because he liked them so much. Millie and Christina spent two separate appointments trying to help us pick out the right bands, and in the end they recreated the look we wanted when they found out the vendor of the ring we picked could not make them in our desired widths. my husband got my engagement ring here and then we went back to get a custom wedding band. They were very good to him when he purchased the ring. It had to get custom made because of the shape of the ring. The quality of the product is amazing. I get so many compliments on it. There was one issue we had with them: I had to give up my engagement ring to have the band made and it was delayed by several weeks. It was very stressful to be engaged and have people ask to see the ring and wonder what's going on. In the end though the ring is gorgeous and we paid a reasonable price.
