Best dj ever!
Fred was ABSOLUTELY amazing. We had a mountain top wedding that rained and had lots of requests from him and he was sooooo gracious and kind the entire time. He was organized with the timeline, details, announcements and we were on the dance floor the ENTIRE night long. I am a local to vail and have seen a lot of DJS… he is the BEST in the vail valley.

We Never Stopped Dancing!
We had an ABSOLUTE BLAST with Fred as our DJ at our wedding! Both of us said we don't think we've had a more fun night that we can remember, and multiple people came up to us saying how amazing the whole night was (and how they never wanted to leave the dance floor)! We would not have changed a thing. Fred also helped us with announcements around the ceremony, which we especially appreciated. We thoroughly recommend him to anyone getting married in Colorado!

Fred was wonderful at our wedding
Fred provided DJ services at our wedding at the 10th Lodge on Vail mt on July 19. His services were incredible from start to finish. Setting up music with Fred was a blast, really fun picking songs for our playlist and getting his thoughts. Music at the wedding was perfect. He was there for us throughout. His equipment worked great at the ceremony and party, He "MC'd" at the wedding introducing speakers and toasts in a super cool, low key way. Was on it. And reasonable pricing. Really strongly recommend Fred for your event.

Lifesaving DJ!!!
My husband and I got married in Vail July of this year and in an attempt to minimize costs we chose to book a DJ who was not local to the area. Unfortunately there was inclement weather the afternoon of our wedding resulting in a road closure that our DJ would not be able to make it to our ceremony. We found out just under two hours prior to the ceremony start time. Thankfully we had an incredible wedding planner (Jenny at Stargazed Weddings & Events) who called Fred asking if he could make it in time and he graciously agreed. I truly owe everything to Fred and hate thinking about what our ceremony could have looked like had he not have been available. My wedding planner warned me that he had no time to prepare for our ceremony and would do the very best he could given the time constraints but that I may need to adjust my expectations on our music being perfect. I was pleasantly surprised that everything was PERFECT! In under one hour to prepare for this ceremony he absolutely blew me away. Fred truly saved the day and we will be forever grateful to him.

Awesome DJ Experience
Fred was our DJ for our Destination wedding, he was very good with communication through out the process, the song list was perfect! He was so flexible I was picking out the first dance songs the night before the wedding. We are from NC and the first ever UNC vs Duke final four rival happen during our reception, Fred was great and even played our UNC fight song! I highly recommended Greattime DJ and Fred.

Fred is hands down the best DJ. We could not have asked for anything better for our special day. We didn't even really have to put together a "preferred playlist" because he just did everything so perfectly on his own. Everybody was on the dance floor all night, and was having so much fun. He was interactive with everyone and did all announcements for us, which was wonderful to not have to worry about. I would recommend Fred and Greatime DJ a million times over. Fred was absolutely awesome as our DJ for our wedding. He helped us with two different locations, one very remote and without power, one at the back of a brewery. He was able to make our day incredibly special by encouraging us to play the music we loved and on a timeline that made sense and helped the evening stay alive. Amazing DJ!!
I would highly recommend Greatime DJ. Fred Hammond was our wedding DJ and we could not have been happier that we hired him. He did an amazing job! He was professional, accommodating, kind and kept our guests dancing all night. We had a wide range of ages at our wedding and even people we did not expect to dance were on the dance floor and having a blast. Fred did a wonderful job with our ceremony music and for the reception we had a few “must plays” and a few “don’t plays” and he honored all our requests. We receive TONS of comments from our guests about how fantastic the DJ was and much fun they had dancing. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Fred and Greatime DJs! Great experience!
We loved working with Erik for our wedding day! From our planning meeting to our wedding day, Erik and the Greattime team was kind, attentive and positive as we changed wedding dates and figured out new plans. On the day of, Erik nailed our music preferences and flawlessly executed the ceremony music for us. We had somewhat of a strange processional, and he helped us work through it from a timing and music change perspective. We had a smaller wedding and had a few other activities during our reception, so sometimes the dance floor emptied out, but Erik was able to revitalize the crowd and got everyone dancing again! He was also easy to work with the day-of, as during the reception, I walked up to the stand a few times to make quick updates to the timeline and plan. We would highly recommend Erik and Greattime DJ for your event!

Mountain Winter Wedding
My wife and i rescheduled our wedding due to COVID and moved from a 300 person wedding with a band, to a 35 person group in Vail. Needless to say we needed flexibility and had already sunk a bunch of money we were not able to get back from the previous plan.
Fred was perfect. 1. the planning interface was important in making sure we were all on the same page. 2. His communication was excellent 3. The vibe was exactly what we wanted 4. the pricing model he included was inclusive and competitive.
If i get divorced, Fred will play my 2nd wedding.

Amazing DJ vendor!!!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Greatime DJ and our wedding DJ, Fred! From discussing music choices over the phone, to accommodating a postponed wedding due to COVID and even dealing with forest fires closing highways, Fred was committed to us through it all! What was supposed to be a 2 hour commute to our wedding venue turned into an 11 hour one due to the wildfires and road closures happening in August this past year. Fred was so calm and collected about it and reassured me (the frantic bride) he would be at our wedding no matter what, and he did just that! He was so easy to work with and listened to all of our do's and don'ts. He played all of our requested genres and music all while reading the room perfectly. Our entire wedding reception people were dancing and loving every song he played. By the end of the night we had everyone up on the dance floor having the best time! Thank you so much Fred! We will forever have the best memories of dancing with all our family and friends on our wedding night!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect organization to work with for our music/AV equipment needs for our wedding. From the very beginning Fred Hammond was extremely responsive and flexible on the administration side, while demonstrating his customer service talents along the way - this was especially helpful given the type of year 2020 has been where flexibility was key.
DJ Bob was our DJ during the reception. We had the pleasure of sitting down with him at a coffee shop before the wedding to discuss the dos and don'ts and what we were looking for regarding what to play. Bob knows his music and has a great pallet for it as well. He played a great playlist for everyone to dance to, and then willingly moved inside to continue playing music for the after party once quiet hours went into effect outside. Bob knew how to read the crowd and played the right amount of upbeat and slow dance songs throughout the night. He is extremely personable and a pleasure to work with. I can't recommend Bob enough.
Ben Hammond - where to start. This guy is EXTREMELY talented. He played acoustic guitar during the processional and then sang while playing the guitar while my bride walked down the aisle. Ben then played during the cocktail hour before the reception. He was so good that people couldn't wait until the reception to start dancing. Ben is extremely talented on the guitar and his vocals are extremely good as well.
Greatime DJ proved to be a tremendous company to work with before and during the special day. Their prices are fair and the talent and services you receive from them are the best around. If you can swing for a musician/DJ combination like we did, I strongly recommend it.

Perfect Music for Our Fall Wedding

Choose Greatime DJ- Bob Bridges
We had DJ Bob Bridges from Greatime DJ and got married in Breckenridge CO (venue: The Lodge at Breckenridge). We were provided ceremony and reception music, and it was perfection! We had been through so much with the pandemic affecting the number of guests we could have and Bob was able to make the DJ aspect seamless. We hired DJ Andy (Advantage Sound) through Greatime DJ. Although there wasn't much discussion prior to the event, he did an amazing job making sure our requests were considered. The guests liked him and he made sure to be very thoughtful in music selection and introductions. Our ceremony was scheduled with multiple songs with structured timing and he was able to go off a list without any discussion prior or any issues. Highly recommend DJ Andy.

Greatime DJ was a professional, courteous and efficient company that took the time to get to know my tastes and how I wanted my wedding to flow. I spoke with Jason my DJ twice before the day after filling out a detailed timeline and submitting Must Play and Do Not play songs. He took the time to introduce himself to my husband and I during the reception and took every effort to make sure everything was going smoothly. We were very pleased with DJ Bob and Greatime DJ. They were very responsive and easy to work with and all of our requests were met with enthusiasm. DJ Bob did an excellent job keeping everyone dancing for the entirety of the reception and even gave us a CD of our wedding songs. All required equipment including the lapel mics worked flawlessly. We would absolutely recommend DJ Bob and Greatime to couples looking for an affordable and professional company.

We hired Greatime for our Keystone wedding, and had the pleasure of working with Erik. He was beyond amazing!! He did so much for us prior to the wedding – answering the 100 questions I had, finding unique songs we wanted to use, and making us feel like we didn’t have anything to worry about on the day of. When it came to the actual wedding, the dancefloor was packed all night long! He played songs that everyone loved, and it was so hard to leave the dancefloor! Fred is the best!! Fred was so involved in the process of our wedding and made sure to make time to talk to us so every aspect of the day & music went flawless and perfect. We did not have a wedding planner and he was able to provide us valuable insights about the wedding we had not even thought of. He also helped with the flow of the day and made sure we were all on time. We could not have done it without him! As far as the music he CRUSHED it! Fred was Awesome!
My husband and I married on June 1st, 2019 in Leadville, CO and we can't recommend Fred and Greatime DJ enough! Our original plan was to have some of our friends/family play live music during the ceremony and have DJ Fred there for reception, but about a month before the wedding day our plans for live music fell through. We were easily able to add extra time with Fred and have him play everything we had hoped for before and during our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception!
We married in the middle of a rancher's field in Leadville, CO and the sound quality was amazing and speakers were out of the way of our photos. We added clip-on mics that were attached to my husband and our officiant and our guests said they could hear everything crystal clear! I'm a bit picky with music and how I wanted each part of the day to feel so I provided Fred with a pretty extensive list of music for every event during our ceremony and reception and he delivered flawlessly. My husband and I were distracted with chatting with guests for a majority of dancing, but Fred even made an effort to come find us and ask if we had any special requests. It's very clear that he caters to your every need, keeps the wedding events on schedule, and is excellent at reading the mood, which resulted in everyone dancing all night! My husband and I had an amazing day and we're still hearing from our guests that our wedding, atmosphere and music were some of the best they've experienced. Thank you Fred & Greatime DJ for keeping the party going at 10,000 feet!!

Request DJ Bob!!
We used Greatime DJ just for the audio at our Keystone mountaintop ceremony on June 8, 2019. Owner Erik was easy to work with and quick to help make arrangements for us on fairly short notice, about 30 or so days out. DJ Bob was amazing. Incredibly nice guy, well dressed, and setup the speakers and everything off to the side so none of his gear was in the photos. And he was all setup *before* our 11 am start time!!! He was just so on point, it was wonderful. His wireless mic worked great on me (the groom). Our officiant would have had one as well but it was pretty windy and Bob found a mic on a stand worked better. Our final days before the wedding were a bit of a cluster -- the bride wanted different music and we just didn't have the setlist put together in time for Bob to download it. He was able to download our bridal party walk out song, our special version of Pachelbel's Canon, and the two post-ceremony songs...and he had plenty of very similar wedding music to what she wanted. He was so easy and awesome to work with - absolutely loved him!! We even invited him to our reception (with a live band instead of a DJ) so he could come have some food and drinks on us. Anyway, amazing - DJ Bob and Greatime took all the stress out of our ceremony. We'd love to work with them again! Thanks so much, fellas!!!

The best wedding DJ!
We hired Fred with Greatime DJ to be the DJ for our wedding in Beaver Creek, CO. I can’t say enough about the amazing quality of their services. The company was responsive and great to work with. And Fred did an incredible job! He found that perfect balance of playing to all generations present at our wedding, and the result was a packed dance floor for the entire night. Erik at GreaTime DJ went above and beyond to get all of his gear up to the top of a ski run for our winter wedding and made it all happen... during a whiteout. He was flexible and responsive with us when we had some changes and final decisions right before the wedding.

Excellent DJ on the mountain top
Erik was an incredible DJ from start to finish! My husband and I have very specific tastes when it comes to music and Erik let us have as much control over the playlists as we wanted... and he nailed each phase of the wedding. We were relatively complicated in our requests and Erik hit everything! During our dance party, he also expertly live-mixed several of our songs.
If you're having a ceremony on the mountain-top or outdoors, Erik has all the equipment you will need for great sound indoors and out. Erik set everything up early with zero assistance needed from us or our coordinators.
Erik was truly a joy to work with and added zero stress to our wedding. We could not recommend him more.

My husband and I were absolutely AMAZED with greatime DJ. Since the initial encounter they were always professional and guided us through the experience. Fred was the DJ for our wedding and we absolutely loved him. He was very communicative and gave us awesome advice on how the wedding day should go. Amazing DJ!
We had Fred as our DJ for our wedding reception at Allie's Cabin. He was absolutely amazing! Our wedding in Beaver Creek was a destination wedding, so it was so kind of Fred to meet with us when we were in town several months beforehand to go over some of our questions and details. He was so flexible and took the time to talk us through everything and we left feeling so confident and happy we had chosen him. At the reception, Fred's music selection ALWAYS fit the current mood of the party and he played the best songs at the perfect times. We had a pretty extensive "must play" list, and he managed that so well along with a mix of other great songs. I highly, highly recommend Fred to anyone looking for a DJ! I am a very particular person especially when it comes to music. Not only did Fred listen to me but he put up with my detailed playlists and numerous phone calls. The day of, the music was perfect and everything I asked for without missing a note. He made simple announcements and didn't try to run the show as we asked. He was dressed well and spoke well too, something we wanted since it was a black tie event. There was some confusion in the time leading up to our wedding but any doubts were washed away on our special day and danced until we dropped. It was clear why they were on so many preferred vendor lists. I couldn't reccommend anyone more than Greatime DJ

Great Wedding DJ!!
We liked GreatTime DJ so we decided to schedule a call with DJ Bob. Once we met with him, we knew he was the DJ for us because of his great taste in music! All of the "usual" music that he would play for a wedding matched exactly what we were looking for. We also had strict no-taking requests and no "typical wedding dance song" requests that DJ Bob followed perfectly. I used very unique songs for the ceremony and he nailed the transfers perfectly as well. DJ Bob perfected the introductions (with some hard names to pronounce) and the reception was a blast with the music he played. I would recommend GreatTime DJ and specifically DJ Bob for anyone looking for DJ for a Colorado wedding!! Thank you so much for the great time and for the personalized cd of our wedding songs!!! Could not have asked for a better experience!!

My entire experience from the first time I spoke to Eric until the day of our wedding was incredible. Great time DJ was a class act and communicated with us every step of the way. We had our wedding ceremony in Beaver Creek and reception in Vail and our DJ Bob seemlessly transitioned every song and venue like a true professional. Bob was very open to what we wanted the music to be at our wedding and was accommodating throughout the whole process. Our guests never stopped dancing from the moment Bob got the party started. Fred at Greatime DJ was incredible! As much as my husband and I love music, we were slacking when it came to selecting music – we were so exhausted from planning everything else. I created a list with each of our top 5 favorite songs and our top 5 least favorite songs and then included some songs that we listen to on a daily basis (just to give him an idea of what we like as a couple). He NAILED the music selection!!! I don’t like to dance in front of people, but he had me moving the entire time! Fred was fun to work with, and he knows how to read a crowd. I had a fantastic experience with DJ Thomas and greattime in general. They never lose sight of the fact that you're planning for a fun event, so it should never feel like work or be stressful! DJ Thomas helped guide me in selecting all of the music for our wedding, had great suggestions, and put together an incredible flow for the event so that we heard everything we wanted to hear, when we wanted to hear it.
I'd also like to note that we had a major family emergency about a week prior to the wedding, and we didn't know if the wedding would be able to go on as planned. Greattime and DJ Thomas were amazing about not making us feel pressured or panicked, and when we did decide to ultimately go on with the event, they handled the tweaks we made to our reception seamlessly.

Our wedding planner put us into contact with Greatime and we loved working with them. We picked Bob Bridges to be the DJ at our ceremony and our reception and he was fantastic. The company provides you with forms to complete indicating which song you'd like for each portion of the wedding along with must play lists and do not play lists. The online forms make it really easy. Since we were planning a destination wedding we couldn't meet Bob in person but we set up a skype session to talk everything through leading up to the wedding. It was so nice of him to take the time to do that and put us all on the same page. He did a wonderful job blending some older songs with newer material at our cocktail hour and during dinner and guests stayed on the dance floor all night long at the reception. We received tons of compliments on what an amazing DJ he was. I think the best part was towards the end of the night, Bob pulled us aside and gave us a CD with all of our wedding songs on it. It was the sweetest touch and we were very appreciative that he took the time to do that for us. You definitely cannot go wrong with Bob!

I had a lot of people come up to me during the wedding and talk about how great the music was. We thought Fred did a fantastic job- he really followed our preferences about how much to talk and interact with the crowd. He also took our music preferences and created an amazing setlist of songs that was just perfect. I liked how he incorporated music pieces that related to our lives as these details came out during toasts. That goes above and beyond what was expected. Fred was wonderful, and I would highly recommend greattime DJ and DJ Fred again to anyone who needs DJ services for an event. We had such a fun time listening and dancing to the music DJ Fred selected. I would highly recommend them for any event requiring DJ services!

Fred and the entire Great Times Company was an excellent fit for our wedding! They we very flexible and professional. Fred did an amazing job throughout the entire process! We had an unbelievable event and this was one part of the planning process that added ZERO stress. Highly recommended!

Erik was amazing!! So many people agreed that he was the best DJ we've ever heard at a wedding. He mixed the songs so well it was almost impossible to stop dancing. I think we saved money on alcohol because no one could leave the dance floor! Erik listened to what we wanted to play and absolutely nailed it. My brother said it was he most fun he's ever had, and I agree. Erik was the best!!!

My husband and I recently got married 9/3/16 in Vail and used Greatime DJ at our reception and we cannot say enough about how awesome they were. Dj Fred was our DJ and he was incredible. They are a very organized, professional and responsive company, with years of experience.
Our guests danced all night long and played all or our favorite music and more. All of our guests raved about how much fun they had and how much they loved the DJ. I highly recommend Greatime DJ!

We had DJ Erik for both our ceremony and reception. He was incredible at both of them! For our ceremony, he mic'd up both our officiant and the groom and all of our guests could hear everything! At the reception, he knew how to get the crowd going and provided us with great advice which kept the party flowing! Guests commented on his professionalism and how awesome he was! I would definitely recommend :)

Greatime DJ - especially DJ Fred - were absolutely incredible. Fred catered to our every need for the reception and made sure it was exactly what we visioned. Between the cocktail music, introductions and remainder of the ceremony, he was on point with every aspect. He took the time to talk with us beforehand and made sure the order and feel for the reception was what we wanted then made it happen exactly how we thought. He was involved when needed but never over the top. We would recommend him to any and everyone in the Vail Valley area!

We are so happy we chose Greatime DJ for our wedding on July 3rd 2016! Greatime was a preferred vendor with our venue and we now see why!! DJ Erik was great to work with and the planning forms provided helped to ensure all of the details were in order for the big day. We used the Silver Ceremony Package, which was fantastic for all of our guests to hear everything going on during our mountain-top ceremony. Greatime was very flexible, changing a few songs and adding things in last minute as needed. DJ Erik was great to work with, he and my wedding coordinator worked well together and everything ran smoothly the entire night. We wanted guests to have a great time and they sure did! The dance floor was full all night and it was an amazing party! We would highly recommend Greatime DJ, and DJ Erik for all future events!!

Nothing but good things to say about Greattime DJ's! We had DJ Bob at our wedding up in Winter Park last fall and he was so incredibly easy to work with. DJ Erik was terrific! My groom and I had the time of our lives and spent as much time as possible on the dance floor with our boogie-ing guests. Erik provided microphones/sound for our outdoor ceremony and then rolled right into the reception. We were able to give him minimal input and just enjoy the great music. The best part was that he took care of everything we asked (and some details we didn't know to ask about) such as keeping us timely with planned dances and speeches. You don't need any added stress on your wedding day and Erik was stress free and flawless.

Fred, with Greatime DJ, was absolutely amazing! Everything flowed perfectly. He provided ceremony music outside and then cocktail hour music inside in a different location, and then reception music in a third different location and everything went PERFECTLY! We meet with him before the wedding day and we were able to let him know what our vision was for our day and he took everything in, and delivered flawlessly. It was the most fun we have ever had! Everyone was talking about how awesome the DJ was! The dance floor was never empty! Thanks again!

Greatime DJ provided the most amazing music on the day of our wedding! My husband and I feel so lucky and fortunate that we were able to have Erik be the DJ for our wedding! His personality fit the evening so well and he made the night not only fun and enjoyable but gave us everything we could have hoped for and more! The ceremony music was perfect and so was the reception! He had people up on their feet dancing all night and I received many compliments about him and his work that evening from our wedding guests :) He fulfilled every request We had and more, and he helped make our wedding night better than anything We could have hoped for! Erik was amazing! He kept everyone dancing the whole night and multiple guests commented on how much they like the music. Guests even chanted "one-more-song" at the end of the night, they didn't want it to end! I highly recommend him.

DJ Carve (Evan) did an awesome job! The music and MCing wer great. Carve recorded our toasts,then did some editing and sent them to us! The sound quality is awesome. When we listen, we feel like were back in the Beaver Creek Club, listening as a guest at our wedding! Evan also recorded our first dance songs. On our request he sped up the song-Kenny and Dolly Islands in the Stream for better dancing. He sent us this recording with the toasts, so we now have it to dance to.
Well spread the word about Evan's great performance that exceeded expectations!

If you can, get DJ Fred Hammond from Greatime DJ for your wedding or other event. He was fantastic! He moved around for us—starting at the ceremony site at the Vail Wedding Deck and then setting up at Donovan Pavilion for the reception. He is so good at sizing up the crowd and playing appropriate music. His choices for the dance segment were spot on and when the dancing ended we all wanted more. I guess that’s the sign of a good party! Leave them wanting more! And that’s what Fred did. Kudos to him and thanks so, so much!

A great times DJ - Erik was so wonderful to have for my wedding. I am so glad I trusted previous reviewers, because they were right! He was so professional and accommodating. We made a pretty non- traditional wedding playlist on their (user-friendly) website and instructed Erik to stick to it and he did! They also had a planning form which was super detailed and helpful to unsure every aspect of the wedding was not forgotten. Our videographer had no problem hooking into his system for the ceremony and reception too. He asked me if it was OK to get the guests involved in the reception and it was a huge hit. He always looked to me (the bride) for confirmation that the night was going as I expected, which I really appreciated. The flow of the night was just perfect and I could not be more grateful we hired Erik. I could not get off the dance floor and I know my gusts had a blast!

I loved working with GreatTime DJ! Erik was awesome! He played great songs, kept everyone on the dance floor, mixed it up with older songs and newer songs - awesome variety! Had many guest comments on how good he was. Best thing for me was I felt very comfortable with his expertise that I spent very little time worrying about this part of my wedding. I just put it in his hands and it was perfect! My advice to brides is to pick good and reliable vendors and trust them to make your wedding perfect! Erik with GreatTim was one of those vendors. He also has very easy to use planning forms which was nice. We were all having so much fun I asked him to extend the end time and that was no problem at all. Highly recommended!
