  Highly recommended

  Our wedding was just in May 2024. The catering service was excellent. The food was great. Everyone talked about the brisket and the sauces all night and even after the wedding. They were easy to work with and was fast to answer any questions and concerns. Very reasonably priced for catering. Highly recommend! This caterer has a restaurant called Grandpa's Loveshack. You can schedule a tasting with them and get to try everything in advance. It was a great experience from start to finish.

  Delicious food

  Our wedding was catered by Grandpa's. We got the ultimate party pack. The slow-roasted pork and BBQ pulled chicken was fall-apart-tender, and we got sauerkraut to go with it. This kind of food is good for catering because it gets better the longer you cook it. You can get as many kinds of BBQ sauce as you want. My personal favorite was the apple one. The mac and cheese and mashed potatoes had a slightly smoky flavor to them that went really well with the meats. Their antipasto and bruschetta appetizers were quite good as well. In the end, they packaged us up a bunch of food to go --- we had a lot of amazing leftovers.
  
  That day it was raining and we were under a park pavilion. Grandpa's set up no problem. They had a tent to put over their buffet table, and their truck set-up was also covered. It looked like a fair when you went down to the pavilion with the tent and the truck. Everyone was courteous, professional, and flexible. They arrived with plenty of time to set up, were able to start dinner service a little earlier than expected, and the bartender was a delight.
  
  They also cut our wedding cake so we didn't have to worry about that part. We got their homemade ice cream to go with it, which they make using a John Deere tractor. It actually is really fun to watch, and the ice cream tastes good.
  
  Overall I would highly recommend Grandpa's.

  Grandpa's Country Catering never disappoints!

  I am an event planner and have used Grandpa's services on more than one occasion. Most recently, I hired them to cater my sister's wedding. During dinner she leaned over to me and said this was the best wedding food she had ever had! I had a lot on my plate as the Maid of Honor and event planner, but Grandpa's made the catering easy and one less thing I had to worry about. I trusted them with my sister's wedding and would not hesitate to recommend them again!
  
  Their staff is prompt, friendly, and always professional. Their food is delicious and extremely well priced. Whether it be a business lunch, steak and lobster dinner, or catering for wedding, you can't get better than Grandpa's!

  Great service & great food

  Grandpa's country catering was everything we could have wanted for our barn wedding. They were great to work with and answered questions quickly. The food was wonderful! We had a great sample of the menu, which all of their food was yummy. On the day of the wedding, the servers were so kind, respectful and accommodated us being behind schedule. There was so much food. It was definitely worth their price. There was even leftovers, which they cleaned up too. We would highly recommend them.

  Fantastic food

  Food is AMAZING!! had so much left over we were giving it away and freezing some! Staff is awesome, they come up and congratulate you.

  Great food

  I believe we did run out of some of the appetizers which was something I mentioned to them I was afraid of. But overall the food was amazing.

  After the first caterer we chose went out of business unexpectedly, we saw it as a blessing in disguise as it led us to Grandpa's! The food was excellent and pleased our guests and the staff was super friendly and helpful on our wedding day. From first contact to the day of our event, the entire process was seamless and easy!

  Absolutely amazing pulled pork, roast chicken and beef brisket! And everything to go with it was excellent. Rick was easy to work with and he and his staff did a great job at my daughter's wedding. I would recommend them to everyone!

Our planning felt seamless with them and Rick was so patient with all of my questions and helped tailor the menu to our budget seamlessly. Our families were also so thankful for the way they didnt have to worry about keeping things on track. I certainly had no stress. And our guests, well they did nothing but rave about the food. So thank you for making our wedding a sweet, stress-free and yummy one Grandpa's Catering!

  They did a great job at our wedding in sept. They were on time did not get in the way, know what they were doing. food was excellent, had plenty of food not a lot left over. All the guest enjoyed it and went back for seconds and thirds. We booked them for the appetizers and the main course it was a great all around. Job Well Done.

My guest loved it and after it was all done they left to-go boxes for my guest to take leftovers home. At no time did I have to divert my attention from wedding festivities to handle any food issues which makes for a great day all around. Thank You Rick, We'll keep you in mind for future events.

  Rick and his teams at Grandpas Country catering were amazing! The food was delicious and the prices afe very reasonable! We decided to do a pig roast and roasted chicken. They do all homemade aides for you to pick from and they are awesome! They did the pig 24 hours ahead of time and brought the whole set up to do the chicken on the grill right at our venue. It was awesome to have all the guests see him out there cooking and the smells were wonderful as they guests arrived. They also took care of cutting our cake for is which was a big help and something I hadn't originally thought of. I wod definently recommend these guys to anyone in the area! We got married in mechanicsburg pa.

  Our guests RAVED about the food - definitely a great choice for us and worth every penny - which was very budget friendly to begin with! Communication was a little spotty from the get go - first some miscommunication about cost (which Rick was quick to remedy) and it was a lot of back-and-forth because they do not work with contracts. There was also one error that was made on our day of due to the miscommunication in the back-and-forth. The staff on site were great and everything was amazing. Definitely don't pass on the homemade ice cream - it was a hit!

  Rick and his staff were absolutely amazing to work with! They catered our state side destination wedding reception Saturday May 20th, 2017. The food was fantastic! We had several of our guests say it was the best pulled pork they have ever had! The staff was also extremely flexible, accommodating, and kind. They went out of their way to make sure our event went as smooth as possible. We would highly recommend them to anyone! Thanks again!

  Good service and food

  We really enjoyed having GCC at our wedding. The food was great and guests seemed to enjoy it! Our only complaint was that the communication could use some improvement. It seemed like there was some confusion on their end regarding our account. But, on the wedding, they came in and got everything prepared very seamlessly which was great.
