Great Wedding Reception!!
Living in California it was hard to figure out a good wedding reception after our Venetian ceremony. Wedding wire suggested the Grand Lux Cafe. I informed my coordinator about my interest and Rich reached out immediately. He was so patient with my gazillion questions and accommodating to everything I wanted to do. Having never eaten at the restaurant I was a little nervous, but he helped me pick out the menu. The day of went so smoothly!! Everybody raved about the food and left stuffed! Many people took home the left over appetizers. The service was top notch. I heard from our guests that they accommodated their preferences without any issue. We weren’t able to do an open bar and decided on two alcoholic beverages per adult. I was honestly stressed somebody would mess up and we’d get overcharged. Thankfully there were no issues with this! The private room itself was gorgeous and went with our color scheme. When it was over the wait staff had already washed our cake serving kit and placed it back in the box. They also helped us pack up all our items. Not enough stars to describe the service! We had 40 guests and brought in a DJ. We had an arch brought in from our ceremony and they accommodated this easily for us. You also can't beat the price for a wedding reception! Our reception was less money than our 10 minute ceremony at the Venetian! We were overjoyed with the way everything turned out. Highly recommend! -

Nita Sent on 11/23/2015We has our reception for 38 at Grand Lux Cafe in the private room at the Palazzo. Rich was amazing! He made everything seem so simple. Planning a wedding long distance meant alot of emails. He was always really responsive and made everything seem easy for them to do. When we met him in person prior to the reception, he is a genuinely good guy! He made us feel welcome and put the focus on having a great reception, not increasing the bill. Our event went off without a hitch! Our guests are still talking about all the food we had served, especially the Asian Nachos! We had enough room for dancing, toasts and for everyone to have an amazing time without breaking the budget. Thank you so much Rich! -
User877660 Sent on 07/26/2012My husband and I loved our reception at Grand Lux Cafe inside The Palazzo. We had 60 guests who attended our destination wedding. We worked with Rich to create our menu. We had appetizers and a sit down dinner. The appetizers were made shortly before the reception began and the main entrees were prepared as our guests ordered from our personalized menu. This worked out perfectly for my guests with food allergies, who could personalize their meals as they ordered them. Our guests are still raving about the food! We had the private dining room for 3 hours and when our time was up they still allowed us to stay an extra 30 minutes to pack up decorations and say our goodbyes to the guest. We only had to provide a deposit prior to the wedding reception. We had to give them our menu 1 month prior to the wedding, a final count 8 days prior to the wedding, and we paid for the remaining reception balance at the end of the dinner. We were provided with a wireless microphone, projection screen, projector, iPod music connection to speakers, and computer connections to the projectors. You had to bring your own computer and iPod. The only complaints we had were the fact that our friends couldn't decorate the room until an hour before the reception and since we had 60 guests there was no room for us to dance. We would definitely suggest Grand Lux to everyone.
