We were married at Grand Affairs, and the experience was everything. Our coordinator Jaki was great. She took care of our every need. Nicole our MOC was there to make sure the wedding day was perfect. The food was delicious. Chef Louise's food was favorable, and all the guests were raving about it. The venue and the decor was great. I would refer Grand Affairs over and over again!

An Amazing wedding experience with an amazing budget and Coordinator!
Grand Affairs truly made my dream come true for my big day! My family has worked with the venue for multiple occasions, but this was my first wedding experience. I was not disappointed at all, and Ms. Jaki is the best person ever to plan your wedding. She is attentive, observant, and extremely creative! She also treats you like family and deserves her flowers. I would recommend this venue to anyone, especially if you love great food and fellowship.

A Perfect Wedding!
I had my wedding at Grand Affairs. To say it was perfect isn't enough. Ms. Jaki was so helpful the whole time from first meeting her at an open house to the morning of the wedding. Every time I needed assistance or had questions, she was there to help. The catering staff was amazing as well. The food was so delicious and everything was set out perfectly. Everyone was so kind as well. We ended up leaving cupcakes for the staff to enjoy for all their hard work. On top of how perfect everything was, it was very affordable as well. They provided decorations and were accommodating for our personal decorations. They were the most affordable venue in the area that provided the most for the price. It especially helped that they do split payment periods to make it easier. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to get married or celebrate any big event.

Grand Affairs! The only show in town!
Jaki Reeves and the entire team had every detail completely on point for me and my fiancée. We started with ideas of an off premise at home ceremony & reception. 1 hour later we found our entire event moved to on premise completely planned. We are completely over the moon pleased with all of it. Now we can focus on all the little things and have some fun doing it! Thanks to everyone who feel like family to both of us!!!!!❤️

It was a perfect evening!
As a guest at my friends wedding I was so impressed with this venue! The ceremony was lovely. The reception room was beautifully decorated and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was amazing! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great location for a ceremony and/or reception!

The BEST place I could have picked for our wedding
I would like to start with Jaki. She was the best planner I could have asked for. I gave her a dream, and she turned it into a reality. She didn't treat me like another "client". She really treated me like family. We had to push our wedding back one year and although she had to pull some strings for me, she got it done! She made my reception look like something out of a movie. Now onto the venue. They appointed my husband and I a "captain" and he was THE NICEST man I have ever met. Anything I needed he was there. He talked me through how to cut the cake! He served me. He made sure We were taken care of. This venue is also a one stop shop. They did EVERYTHING for me. All we had to do was pick out a dress and suits and a cake. Not for nothing, what they provide for the price it is at you cannot beat it. We paid half of what most weddings cost. All in all, if I could go back and relive our wedding I would. It was the best day of my life, and I owe most of that to Grand Affairs and more importantly, Jaki. Thank you all again!

Amazing reception experience
Jaki Honeyman made my vision come true! The extra care and details that were put into my venue was mind blowing!!! My guests were still talking about our reception months later. The planning, the food, the decor was all taken care of for me. I felt like I had a personal wedding planner! I walked into Jaki’s office with a large to do list, and left there an hour later with a majority of it done already. I got everything that I wanted and more while saving thousands of dollars! Any big parties we plan on having in the future will definitely be held at Grand Affair. If you want to be treated like family, have an amazing menu, beautiful decor and exceptional service while saving money, then this is the place for you!

Best Experience Ever
We had a wedding reception here and from the first call with Jaki to attending an open house to the ceremony this was hands down the best experience ever. Everything was taken care of to perfection, i have no complaints other than the night ended too soon. I cant say enough about the professionalism, the delicious food, the Dj kept us on the dance floor and the drinks were on point. Would use them again for any and every occasion. Made all my dreams come true
I am in nj and had to help plan a wedding in Virginia for my stepson who is in the military. From the moment I found Jaki at Grand Affairs all my worries slipped away. Professional. Accommodating. Friendly. She helped me with everything! The venue was beautiful. Design and decor options were gorgeous. The food was delicious. Staff members attentive to guests and friendly. She helped create an absolute magical wedding for my stepson and his wife. Grand Affairs has it all in once beautiful venue and Jaki is a gift to us all. I wish I could have brought her back to Jersey , but I knew she had many more magical moments to create for people celebrating all of life’s precious moments. Amazing!

30 Anniversary Vow Renewal
Our experience working initially with Jaki started and ended with top notch professionalism and responsiveness. Grand Affairs was affordable for our event and the food was delicious. The banquet room had all of the finishing touches requested and Jaki and team saw my Pinterest board and made it happen. On the day of the event the staff was so very professional and they catered to us and our guest. We felt like royalty! This is one of the few venues in the area that is affordable. Thank you Grand Affairs team! We had a phenomenal time and will tell everyone about our amazing experience and call on you all again for our next event!

Grand Affairs has definitely stood the test of time. They have been around for a long time and continue provide first class catering and event coordinating services. In searching for an offsite catering company for my daughter's wedding, Grand Affairs was the one (and only one) company that responded immediately & consistently, as well as, provided all the needed details up front. Multiple others responded sometimes, if at all, and just didn't seem interested in catering anything. I knew after my first phone conversation with Jaki that Grand Affairs would be catering our event. If you have the pleasure of working with Jaki, she is wonderful, attentive to detail, organized, and over all a nice person to work with in planning such a special event. The whole process was enjoyable and very flexible. The day of our event was exactly as planned and envisioned, and we have Grand Affairs and Jaki to thank for that. Our Grand Affairs catered buffet was visually beautiful and everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. Additionally, Michelle, Robert, and crew were all very professional, personable, and friendly as they coordinated the happy hour, bar, and meal. I cannot say enough positive things about Grand Affairs (in fact NO negatives) and our experience working with them. I highly recommend them for any event. You will not be disappointed.

We appreciated the assistance of everyone especially the kitchen crew. We had our own dessert and cake for the wedding and a lot left over. We had assistance cleaning up and boxing up everything. We had so much fun with our Baby Boomers to our millennial.

Our wedding reception was a great success thanks to Jaki and the staff at Grand Affairs. From the initial planning to the final touches, it was such a great experience. My family and guests had a wonderful time and we did not have to worry about anything but having fun. Jaki took excellent care to make sure everything was perfect for our special day. The wait staff made sure everyone had what they needed and was so polite and friendly. The food was plentiful and delicious.

I cannot say enough good things!
Jaki truly made me feel like the only bride in the world. I got married at Church Point Manor on August 12th, 2023, and was in search of an offsite catering team. As soon as I met Jaki, I knew it was right. She was able to answer my questions before I knew them, keep us within our budget, and help create a fun and different menu for our wedding. She was wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process. On the day of the event, her and her team were unstoppable. They were there early to help setup and ensure everything was perfect (which it was). Not only were they so helpful and friendly, but the food was absolutely AMAZING. You never know how the food will be at a large social event, but it exceeded our expectations by 10000. The catering team even made plates for me and my husband so we could mingle and didn't have to do anything ourselves; they always made sure we had a full drink in our hands.
I learned a lot about hospitality from the crew at Grand Affairs, and will never forget how special they made us feel. They feel like family now, and I will always recommend them.

I could talk forever about Grand Affairs and how absolutely incredible they are. The patience, knowledge and love alone that we received from Grand Affairs as a whole was enough to keep us coming back. Each step of the way, every member of the staff went above and beyond, and truly made sure everything went off without a hitch.
We got married at another venue, so we utilized Grand Affairs for their off-site catering. At the start, I worked primarily with Jaki and Whitney. They got the basic information for our wedding and assisted us with building the menu of our dreams. There were certain things that we were unsure of with decor and general information, but they helped us to figure out and fill out those areas with ease.
The patience they showed us through multiple meetings and continuous back and forth conversations was so meaningful. I felt like a high-maintenance bride due to my inexperience in certain areas and my mountains of questions, but never once was I treated like I was too much for them. I was only treated with kindness and compassion throughout the entire process.
We were lucky enough to have attended an off-site event for a friend of ours that used Grand Affairs to cater their event before our wedding. At this event, we had the opportunity to meet their off-site team, and they were so informative and enthusiastic about our upcoming wedding. For our final meeting with our venue, Jaki brought multiple people from their catering team to visit the venue, get comfortable and make sure we were all on the same page for the day of the wedding. They also continued to answer more of the questions I had.
By the time the wedding came, I felt like I really knew the team. They felt like family! Before the wedding they were there early setting tables up and preparing everything. After the ceremony, they assisted with the flip of the room from ceremony to reception which was something I was stressing about prior to booking them. They did it quickly and efficiently and I am so grateful.
During the wedding they were incredibly attentive to me and my husband, and made sure we had food and drink all evening. I am one of the few brides that can say I didn't starve at my wedding and was taken care of!
Speaking of food... OH MY GOODNESS!! Their food is so delicious! I wish I could have them cater my everyday life. I would never get tired of their food. For our wedding, we provided GA with the allergies we had for over 100 guests, and they were able to provide us with lactose-free, gluten-free and vegetarian friendly options! They even accommodated our son who can be a picky eater. We received so many compliments on their service and the food.
Their attention to detail was phenomenal, and their staff was the best I've seen. No amount of thanks will ever be enough for all that they did for us. I can't recommend Grand Affairs enough. I know for a fact I will use them for all future events.

I can write a book about the Grand Affairs. The staff, The food, the venue was amazing. I booked sight unseen and I was scared but between speaking with Ms. Jaki and my coordinator I felt so good to have my ceremony at that location. It was amazing.

I can't say enough about the Grand Affair, my fiance and I had our wedding and reception there, it was beautiful, very well organized, food was excellent, and so was the drinks we had such a good experience, we was so overwhelmed with the whole process because I had the bride jitters, Jaki Honeyman was totally awesome,she was there with me from beginning to end she had no problem answering every question we had, my guest even stated that everyone was so nice, you will not be disappointed if you Rent this venue.

Overall experience was great, food was delicious and the staff very friendly. However the server dropped a salad on me the bride and other server drop a tray of crab cakes. Other than that is a great place and I will definitely recommend it again!! Nothing is perfect but it was worth it. Thanks grand affairs!!!

Wedding Ceremony & Reception
My wedding ceremony took place in the Chapel at Grand Affairs and it was perfect. Nicole was the Mistress of Ceremonies and she made sure the wedding party knew exactly what to do. She kept us all in line, literally! LOL. It was a great day and everything went smoothly. The reception was wonderful also! Chef Louise made the food perfect and Jaki in Sales made the planning process easy for us. Highly recommend for your special day.

We worked with Jaki for our wedding and she was absolutely amazing! She was so much fun to work with and such an enjoyable person. She was super helpful, very promp with responses, professional but fun and personable. The staff at the wedding was wonderful. The food was absolutely delicious!! Our guests had all good things to say about the staff and food. Pricing for 145-ish guests was very reasonable for as much as we provided, drinks, dinner and Hors d'oeuvre. The care and professionalism we experienced has been unmatched. We absolutely love Jaki! We are very grateful for everything.

Family Memorial Service
My family suffered a sudden loss and Grand Affairs helped ease our burden by providing a catered meal for approximately 30 family and friends after the funeral service. Whitney Vines and the Grand Affairs staff prepared a wonderful meal and delivered to our Williamsburg home. They even prepared some of my brother-in-law’s favorites. It meant a lot to my sister. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Would definitely recommend Grand Affairs.

Excellent service and food for family reunion!
We had a huge family reunion planned at an outside venue and I don't live in Virginia, so I worked with Grand Affairs staff who handled ALL of the logistics for the event including; Food, set up, table decorations, serving food, clean-up, and overall organization. We had a wonderful event, and it was all turn-key and so helpful for me so I could just come and enjoy my family. The food and service were excellent and all was effortless for all of us. Thank you Grand Affairs for all your good work in making our event so successful! I will definitely book more reunions and events with you in the future!

Amazing Planning Experience!

Everything and everyone were perfect and dedicated to making our day the best it could be.
Jaki was the best. She was nice and friendly and she cared about our love story and special day. She guided us through the whole process. The wedding planner was very down to earth and patient with us even though we had a large bridal party. The staff were excellent and I did a great job taking care of us all night. The food was delicious and the night was just perfect and a night to remember. Grand Affairs was spacious and we didn’t have to stress about any of the planning because Jaki did an awesome job taking care of everything. The decor was beautiful and the DJ company that they referred us to was perfectas well. Thank you Grand Affairs.

I absolutely don’t know where to start. My husband proposed to me December 24th 2018. I remember calling and speak to Brian January 2019 and the vibe I received was like no other. You would have completely thought we knew each other the whole entire time. The laughter, professionalism was everything I needed. Because of Covid, our wedding was completely put on hold. Still during Covid, we stayed in touch like we were best friends. Than I was introduced to Ms. Jackie. I love her I love her I love her. From start to finish, she was right there. Even when I had over 1,000 questions and how she would call it “bridal brain” lol, when I was having a complete meltdown, Ms. Jackie turned into my therapist. Every meeting was fun and professional and the food tasting was out of this world!!!!!!! The baked fish, pulled pork, boneless chicken was amazing and the collard greens were out of this world!!!!! Complements to the chef. Also another big Thank You to Nicole for the amazing rehearsal and organizing my ceremony. My wedding date was 6/18/2022 and I’m still so amazed at how everything went. The ceremony was beautiful and the decor of our reception was phenomenal. I couldn’t give enough thank yous out to everyone that played apart and helped me to make my big day amazing at grand affairs. We thank you we thank you all-so very much and we love you guys dearly. Everyone that works there became more like family instead of friends. I can definitely see us coming back multiple times.

The only place to have your wedding
We could not thank this place more. If we ever have another event, it will 100% be here. Our rep we worked with, Michelle Renee, was absolutely incredible. They made our special day easy and go off without a hitch. The price for what you get is the best in the business. We had a great time and had zero worries the day of the wedding. I got married this past weekend and let me tell you how amazing it was to work with Grand Affairs. I was on the fence about having a backyard wedding or getting married somewhere else. When I found them online I emailed Jaki and she was super quick to reply and I made an appointment for that Saturday. When I tell you that I felt this feeling of rightness, it’s an understatement. We wanted catering and a place to do our ceremony and they had it all. I had NOTHING to worry about. Jaki took all the worries away from me and I was probably one of the least stressed brides out there. I can’t even say enough how amazing the food was, how gorgeous everything was decorated, and how kind and understanding everyone was.

I would absolutely recommend my friends to Grand Affairs. My retirement ceremony was held there back in 2017 and now my daughter’s Sweet 16 Celebration and on both occasions I was worry-free. Plan and execute surprise 90th Birthday party celebration
From the very beginning my sisters and I were pleased with Jackie, our party planner's service and assistance. Her enthusiastic attention to detail and suggestions during the planning process made the actual evening event even more special. The night of the event, Michele, party supervisor, Sissy, bartender and an additional hostess (sorry forgot her name) were extremely attentive and helpful in every aspect of the evening . . . the food was delicious, served timely and plentiful. Knowing the staff was available for anything we might need gave us the opportunity to visit with family and friends with peace of mind. We couldn't have imagined a smoother or easier wedding planning experience. We arent from the area, so the option for all inclusive really sold us. The food was delicious. The decorators are fabulous, and made everything so simple. Everything we forgot, they were on top of it with a solution.(Even returned a platter that we left behind to our cake maker and mailed us our ceremony centerpiece we forgot) There were 2 wedding day of coordinators that were included in the package, and they were outstanding. They made it all so easy and stress free. The entire staff was energetic, friendly, and made the whole experience one I will never forget. I'm so grateful for everything everyone at Grand Affairs did to exceed our expectations. A special thank you to Brian who always gave a speedy response to my frantic bride-to-be emails with all the right answers! From the bottom of my heart, Thank you all!! I wish we could just do it all over again!

Amazing experience for my special day!
We got married at Grand Affairs & it was nothing but superb from start to finish! The food was amazing, thanks to Chef Woodhouse. Ms. Jaki was absolutely fantastic with every single detail & Ms. Nicole was so warm & calming on such a hectic day. You must book this venue for your next important day, it'll be the best decision you'll make!

Fairytale Wedding
I attended a bridal show with my now sister in law at Grand Affairs. It was very organized and set up perfectly. We tasted their amazing foods and enjoyed every second of the bridal show. I went home and discussed with my future husband and we immediately set up a meeting to take a full tour and review the multiple options. Bryon and I went and met Jaki Reeves who went above and beyond helping us all the way! May 26th we had our ceremony and reception at Grand Affairs! It was the best day of our lives and everything went so smooth! The bar was fully stocked and the food was absolutely amazing! Thanks Grand Affairs for making this the best ever! We love you for all you did for us!

Jaki and all of the staff at Grand Affairs were amazing. Everyone was committed to ensuring every detail of our "fairytale vision" came to life. So many of my guests raved about the food, and said this was the best wedding they had ever been to. I would highly recommend using grand affairs for a wedding reception.

Grand Affairs went above and beyond for my husband’s and my wedding day. The decorations were gorgeous and Jaki made sure my theme was perfectly executed. I had a very good experience using this location as a venue for my wedding for both the ceremony and reception. Brian Harvey helped us every step of the way and even did a walk through at the end to make sure every detail was on point. My husband Brandon doesn't get get excited for many things, he was extremely happy for the entire event along with me. We highly recommend!

Grand affairs took my vision and turned it into reality!!! From the planning to the execution the staff truly gave me everything I dreamed of for my wedding. The Captain at our reception made sure I was fed and taken cared of as well as my guests! I can’t wait to celebrate other events with grand affairs!!!

From start to finish, everything about our event was pretty near perfect. Brian was extremely helpful, and we took most of his suggestions. The food was excellent, we received numerous compliments. The venue was beautifully decorated in the colors of our choosing. Rev. Hash, recommended by Grand affairs, was also the best. He included all aspects of the ceremony we asked for. We would recommend Grand affairs for any and all events.

I know I was bridezilla; but I have to say that Grand Affairs met, delivered and exceeded every request I had. They took my vision and made it a reality. From the very beginning they were accommodating, professional and invested as much time in planning my special day as I did. I don't plan on ever getting married again but I will recommend Grand Affairs to anyone and everyone. Best Staff EVER.

We worked with the Grand Affairs team-in particular Jaki Reeves. Jaki made things a breeze, from decor, menu choices, to suggesting the DJ, Limo, Florists in the area. I gave Jaki total control over the decor with only telling her I wanted a beach theme, we walked in yesterday and the place was simply beautiful! Jaki met me in the bridal room with a glass of wine, helped in any way she possibly could. She truly went above and beyond my expectations and made our wedding day perfect! Nicole, Brian, the waitstaff, everyone we came in contact with was friendly and very professional.

We recently had Grand Affairs as our caterer and it was without a doubt one of the most brilliant highlights of our event. I can't express how simply fabulous Grand Affairs was!! Firstly, their staff is incredibly thoughtful, professional, friendly, and courteous with a fantastic personalized eye for detail. They know how to make you and your guests feel absolutely amazing. Our guests simply raved about the scrumptious food and we joy every single bit. We can't recommend Grand Affairs catering enough - they were simply wonderful.

Where do I even begin to express how happy I am with this venue and catering company?
My husband is a Chef so you can imagine how the catering was so very important to us. He asked a lot of questions and was very tedious with making sure this is what we wanted. Our interactions with Jaki, our sales rep, at every point was above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. One of the reasons we picked Grand Affairs is they were willing to work with our bizarre request to have Breakfast for dinner. Our reception was 6pm to 10pm, and other caterers were not willing to make breakfast at dinner time. Grand Affairs was not scared to accommodate this. The Chef not only prepared an amazing buffet but spent a lot of time perfecting certain creations that are not common. Needless to say people are still telling me how amazing the food was!
I cannot express how appreciative I am of Jaki, Ann, and the catering staff at Grand Affairs for everything they did to make me and my husband’s day as perfect as they did. I always refer my friends to Grand Affairs just from the pure interactions with them, now that I have had the wedding, I refer them even more.
I am a strong believer in word of mouth testimonials and reviews from other brides to decide on picking vendors. I can say with all my heart, pick Grand Affairs, They go above and beyond and care about you like you are family. A truly lovely place start your forever together.

My daughter's wedding was absolutely perfect!!!!!!! From start to finish the staff was professional and followed through on everything I was told. The food and décor was top notch. I could not have asked for a better venue or staff to plan my daughter's ceremony and reception. They relieved our stress, took care of all the major details, and ensured we were comfortable the day of the event. I recently signed my contract with Grand Affairs catering. I had a great experience going through the details and getting everything finalized. The best part about them is that they are hassle free. If you want to use your own decorations, you just drop them off, and they will set them up for you. The customer service was exceptional.

Many of our guests complimented the beautifully decorated food & beverage tables including the small added touches that really make such a wonderful difference!
The guests raved about the food, especially the pasta station and amazing vegetable tray (so beautifully displayed as well as having more than just "celery & carrots" on it.)
Thanks to all of the professional staff who assisted us through every step of the day as well... Starting with Jaki, our Bridal Manager & Coordinator to the Chef and the Banquet Staff, servicing our guests.
We will definatly recommend Grand Affairs as well as use them as our Caterer for any and all future special events!

We found Grand Affairs staff to be very professional and thorough. They helped trim costs where possible and the food, waiters and bartenders were outstanding. The event planners were wonderful in planning and organizing the reception and gave us peace of mind.

I was married in May 2011 at Grand Affairs Catering in Virginia Beach. This venue was absolutely wonderful. The staff are all friendly and flexible, the building was spacious, and the price was literally unbeatable for all the services offered. What was most important to me was having two separate rooms for the wedding and the reception. For the price, a lot of places don't offer such accommodations. Grand Affairs does.
My wedding coordinator was Jaki Reeves and she stayed on top of everything for me. I literally just had to show up. They provide a dressing room, a mistress of ceremonies, and discreet wait staff during the reception. The food was phenomenal. I'm still getting compliments on it months after the event. I would recommend Grand Affairs to any bride who wants a no hassle wedding.

Originally we had plans to be married in a church, but those plans never got finalized. We needed a place to have the ceremony since we previously booked our reception location. We were less than 1 month away from the date & we needed to do something quick! We called Grand Affairs and met with JAKI REEVES. She was wonderful! We booked the indoor wedding chappel which was very nice. They provided the music and unity candle. Jaki even referred an officiant. As the date got closer, the coordinator NICOLE was available to help us with anything we needed. Quality service at a reasonable rate!

Jaki from the Virginia Beach Grand Affairs was great to work with. We planned the reception with Jaki but ended up having it at the Grand Affairs in Chesapeake.
From the start of planning til the end of the reception, they were wonderful to work with. We had a tasting back in April (our wedding was on May 31) and the food tasted good. They even were able to provide my parents with vegan food. :) The entire setup of the place was very nice. Our heart-head table for me and my husband was beautifully decorated. What I really appreciated about Grand Affairs was their ability to setup my centerpieces and anything else I brought exactly as I wanted without me having to detail everything out for them. (I'm sure my wedding planned helped with that as well.)
My guests thoroughly enjoyed the food and many of them went back for seconds. As a matter of fact, almost a week later, they are still commenting on how good the food was. It was even better than the food that was at the tasting. My husband and I were impressed!
I also have to mention the waitstaff. They were courteous and fun. By the end of the night (at our request) we had the waitstaff on the dance floor with us! That's how great everything was. Grand Affairs helped me have a wedding to remember!
