  Amazing service, communication, and quality

  
  
  After being left without a hair or MUA 3 weeks before my wedding, I contacted Sophia with Graceful Beauty KC. She assembled a team of 4 people in less than 24 hours and absolutely saved the day. She got trials scheduled for myself for both services and was excellent with communication. Her contract is clear and you know exactly what you’re getting. Her team that provided services was excellent, included Bree and Copper for hair and Tai and Lexcee for makeup. All 4 did an amazing job but special kudos to Tai. She went above and beyond, her attention to detail was amazing and her makeup lasted through the party without difficulty. She even stayed late to put together touch up kits. I would recommend all 4 of our artists to anyone and would choose Graceful Beauty again in a heartbeat!

  This team was awesome!

  I worked personally with Sabina, and she was absolutely incredible. We talked and laughed the whole way through, and she was wonderful at recommending products and offered tutorials! The whole team, though, was fabulous. All of the bridesmaids looked great. I highly recommend this team! Sophia is very responsive and organized.

  I found Sophia through The Knot and could not be more happy with my experience and how everything came out. From the first point of contact she was incredibly nice and listened to everything I was thinking and wanting for my big day. Sophia and her team are awesome! Was always very responsive if I had any questions after booking. She did a phenomenal job and felt so beautiful that day.

  A fairytale experience!

  I hired Graceful Beauty for my September 18th wedding! Sophia and her team (Copper and Jaci) did hair for 9 and makeup for 4.
  
  It took 2 tries during the hair and makeup trial, but Sophia nailed the classy, timeless updo I envisioned. Sophia created a natural, but stunning makeup look on her first try!
  
  In the months leading up to the wedding, Sophia stayed in touch. She created a color coded schedule that included the stylist and a time slot. I filled in bridal party names and sent pictures of their natural hair and requested hairstyles.
  
  The day of the wedding, Graceful Beauty showed up on time at 11 am. At one point, we ran a little behind. Thankfully, there was extra time built into the schedule so we finished on time! Sophia paid careful attention to detail on my hair and makeup. My hair and makeup turned out perfectly and I couldn’t have felt more beautiful!
  
  My wedding day was 90 degrees and sunny. However, Graceful Beauty’s makeup withstood tears and sweat. Normally, I have a shiny spot on my face, but Graceful Beauty’s makeup covered it up the whole night. During bride and groom pictures around 6 pm, my left eyelash started to fall off. Luckily, my MOH quickly fixed it before the reception. Additionally, pieces of my updo fell out while I was dancing, but it wasn’t noticeable in pictures.
  
  Overall, working with Graceful Beauty was a wonderful experience and I’d recommend them for any special event you have coming up!

  Felt my most beautiful!

  Sophia was so helpful and did exactly what we asked of her! Her dream team was amazing and so fun to hang with morning of! I felt so beautiful and myself, which was so important to me! Loved it!

  Wonderful Communication! Great service!

  Communication with Sophia was awesome from the start! I was delightfully surprised when she first gave me her personal cell phone number to chat about the details of my day! We also exchanged inspiration photos this way, which made it super easy for me!
  
  I was offered a trial run through, and when it didn't turn out right with one artist, Sophia stepped in and saved the day. She personally did another trial with me, free of charge, and promised she would be there for me instead on the big day! For my eye shadow, we talked about matching the bridesmaid's dress color and adding in a shimmery gold touch to match with our wedding colors. It was so nice of her to take such interest and really collaborate with me in this way for the look.
  
  They were early on the wedding day, ready and waiting for my girls and I to get in the chair, which was a relief, because we were crunched for time as it was at our getting ready venue.
  
  The service was wonderful! Sophia double checked that I liked everything from the trial still and then got to work! When I looked in the mirror at the end, I felt stunning! It was perfect, in that it was glam for me, but still looked natural. (I don't typically wear much makeup.) I felt so special after she finished up and couldn't wait for my Dad and my future husband to see how I looked!
  
  I felt incredible and got sooo many compliments! My lipstick/stain even stayed on until after I ate, I didn't reapply once!

  Sabina was great

  I live in California and wasn’t able to do a trial, but the day of my wedding she knew exactly what I wanted. I was so happy with my makeup and all my girls looked beautiful. She was very professional, organized and clean. She made all of us feel very comfortable during the pandemic, following of all the CDC guidelines.

  Sophia and Sabina were fabulous to work with! When I had some concerns with trial hair and makeup and had some things I wasn't happy with or wanted to change, both ladies were able to tweak our plan for both and made everything just perfect for the big day. I trusted them completely to make my hair and makeup vision come to life! They were on-time, professional and always quick to respond to my texts when booking and planning! Everybody was so impressed with their work and I would highly recommend both for your hair and makeup needs, not only for your wedding, but for any other big event you may want to get dolled up for!

  Sophia at graceful beauty was amazing to work with, she was very punctual in our emails and put together a great timeline for us to get ready. At our wedding we had Makayla and Jaci helping us get beautiful. They were so fun to talk to and did an amazing job with everyone's hair. Makayla did my hair and makeup, I have never felt so beautiful. They both helped make our special day fantastic!!

  Extraordinary level of service!

  Sophia was quick to respond to our initial inquiry & provided lots of detail on her bid for make up services. My daughter, the bride, had a trial makeup the week prior to her wedding. She took in pictures of the look she wanted and they did a beautiful job creating the same feel but very personalized. We added an extra person to our group last minute and Sophia was able to work her Into the schedule for wedding day. The team arrived early, they were very prepared. All five ladies who had makeup done looked gorgeous & were happy with their looks. I would highly recommend Graceful Beauty!

  Sophia was INCREDIBLE and her staff was nothing short of amazing. They provided amazing hair and make-up services and my girls and I looked stunning! My mother wasn’t feeling the best on my wedding day and Sophia took it upon herself to do my mother’s makeup while she was laying in bed.. I don’t know any other makeup artist who would have done this!!! If I could give her 1000000 stars I would!! Thank you for your unbelievable service and taking off so much stress on my end to make my special day perfect!

  Couldn’t have asked for a better makeup artist!

  Sophia is a wonderful individual to work with. She’s is incredibly professional and will work very hard to ensure that your expectations are met. On my wedding day she fixed my hair twice after my curls fell out and was happy to do so. She arrived on time and completed seven hair styles in 5 hours. She also does an incredible job on makeup and stepped in when my makeup artist was running behind. I would definitely recommend her for your big day or special event.

  Princess for a day

  My teenage daughter left me a thank you note for how she felt after receiving Sophia’s services. She felt like a princess. You know it was awesome when your 16 year old goes to the effort to write a thank you note. Best money I spent for my sons wedding was for Sophia to do my daughters hair and makeup!

  Sophia did and excellent job at calming my nerves and I felt really pampered on my big day. She has a very calm demeanor which helped me a lot. She did a great job on my hair and makeup and it turned out just like the pictures I showed her!

  My experience with Graceful Beauty KC during our wedding planning process was wonderful from start to finish. Communicating with Sophia during the entire process was, as others mentioned, so very easy!
  
  My bridesmaids hair styles as well as my hairstyle the day of our wedding turned out exactly as we hoped they would. The only change I would have made would be to have had my curls a little bit more loose and not so tightly pulled back for my half-up do, but this was 100% a personal preference and request I could have made but did not, so nothing whatsoever against Graceful Beauty and the stylists!

  Great communication and very accommodating!

  Communication with Sophia was a breeze! She was always quick to respond and so accommodating when a few members of my bridal party/family changed their minds a few weeks out and wanted to have hair and make-up services after all. She was able to add a second artist and re do the day of schedule to accommodate everyone which was so kind of her. I was happy with my trial hair and make-up and eventually was happy with my day of services as well but was a little disappointed when my artist didn’t seem to remember the look we came up with. We were able to look at pictures and talk through what I was looking for in the moment. My hair was not turning out how the artist and I were thinking so she ended up taking it out and starting over which put us behind schedule but luckily the schedule Sophia created had some extra time built in and the photographer made up the rest of the time to get back on schedule. The final look we ended up with was beautiful and with the exception of a quick touch up on curls between pictures and the ceremony (we expected this because my hair doesn’t hold curl and took pictures outside on a windy day) everything stayed perfectly the whole day. The two artists were also very accommodating the day of when 4 extra girls asked for false lashes which was not originally planned - they helped without hesitation and did not charge me. Lastly, my mom is very picky and the artist who did her hair was very patient with her and helped her find a look she was happy with which is no small feat. Overall, I am happy with the services I received and would book through them again. I would just want to make sure the artist I worked with remembered what we talked about and did at the trial to make things go a little smoother with the hair. Make up was absolutely perfect!
