Beautiful Setting with Personal Service

The church itself is beautiful with a great location right on the square in Madison. The sanctuary is gorgeous as were the red doors for photos afterward. Pat and the staff at Grace took care of everything and made us feel comfortable leading up to the day. It was nice having rest/prep areas downstairs for the bridal party before things got started. The entire place is also air conditioned which came in nice on a 100 degree summer day. Their organist also very good. Would highly recommend Grace to any couple.

This was hands down one of our favorite parts about our wedding day. Pat Werk was so easy to work with and she made planning a breeze! She was able to accommodate any questions that we had throughout the process. The church is beautiful and did not need any decoration. I also loved that I could bring in my own pastor.

My husband and I couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding ceremony! To start with, the location is beautiful! The church is lovely, and it's in a great location, right next to the Capitol building (which makes for great pictures!). We had pew candles and bows, and a flower arrangement at the altar, but the church itself is so pretty that I didn't find any need to decorate any further! Which is a huge bonus because it's one less thing to plan and some money saved!
We worked closely with Pat (we didn't work quite as much with Gwen, but she's fabulous too!), and she was there for us for everything! We met with her initially for a tour, and she gave us all kinds of information! They have a hand book and list of suggested vendors, and Pat's vast knowledge! Anytime I'd have a question I'd send her an email. I always heard back promptly! I asked her all kinds of questions, and she always had solid answers. I don't think we could have found anyone with her level of expertise!
She had a great worksheet that she worked with us to fill out and complete our details, so we knew everything had been thought of. She ran a very smooth rehearsal the night before, and the next day she guaranteed the ceremony ran smoothly! Grace has rooms for getting ready, and Pat was down there checking on last minute details with me and the bridal party to make sure everything was in place. She coordinated such a smooth ceremony, giving our iPod guy his cues for music (as a note, there is a beautiful organ that can be used, we just opted to use the sound system based on our music selections), and giving the cues for everyone to walk out. It all ran so smoothly, I don't know how she does it! And it was days after the fact that I heard that she had broken a toe the night before or morning of my wedding, and wasn't even able to get a shoe on! That is dedication, and I didn't know and wouldn't have guessed anything was wrong that day!
All in all, Grace was perfect! Highly recommended?!

There are not enough words to describe how beautiful Grace Church is and how wonderful and loving Pat is. She made us feel so special and was totally present with us for the whole day, helping in every way possible and giving the biggest, warmest hugs. From our first correspondence with Pat, she was prompt, professional, engaging, and very knowledgeable. She was willing to help us with every single detail, including picking music, how to carry our flowers, where to stand, timing, etc. Pat also was very instrumental in helping our officiant (a friend who hadn't done a wedding before) with an outline to create a beautiful and personalized ceremony. The church itself is stunning and has a magical feel. The rooms where the wedding party waited while guests arrived were just what we needed. The guys had a piano to play and sing, and the girls had a private bathroom and all the supplies you could think of (superglue!) Pat even brought us fans when we had nervous sweats. She calmed our nerves and made sure everything went off without a hitch! Our ceremony was out of a dream, everything was perfect and full of love, and Pat was the cherry on top.

Grace Episcopal on the Capital Square is a beautiful venue. The coordinator, Pat, worked with us from the day we booked until after the ceremony, answering all our questions in a timely manner and providing practical advice on how to make the most of our big day. Everything went smoothly, we stuck to our tight schedule and, by taking the coordinator's advice and letting her do her thing, we were able to enjoy every minute. We met with our officiant (and priest) several times before the wedding and walked through the ceremony once as a couple before the rehearsal, assuring us we were in good hands at Grace. We cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had at Grace Episcopal on our wedding day!

Grace Episcopal is a beautiful venue for a wedding ceremony! My husband and I had the best experience working with Gwen and Pat for our July 2017 wedding. They were extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire planning process, which was especially helpful since my husband and I live in Chicago. Pat and Gwen also provided some great recommendations for other wedding vendors, such as musicians and florists. Would highly recommend!

From the time we stepped into the Grace Episcopal Church, we knew this is where our daughter's wedding was going to be held! It is an absolutely beautiful church. Pat Werk was delightful to work with. She took the time to show us around and answer all our questions. Pat really understood what we were looking for and gave us many suggestions and options to help make the ceremony special.
On the wedding day, she was right there to help and assist in anyway and keep everyone calm and smiling !!
Thanks Pat - will not forget your kindness and thoughtfulness to us all. Loved hearing the church bells after the ceremony!

I couldn't recommend Grace enough. My wife and I had a tremendous experience and are forever grateful for the work Pat put in to help us have an amazing wedding.

We could not have been happier with our wedding! We used the chapel in Grace Episcopal church as we had a small wedding party. It was an intimate, stately and beautiful setting for our wedding. We were able to have the grandeur of the church, and the use of the organ, yet have the ceremony in a space that was perfect for our small wedding. It was a truly lovely and memorable setting.
Pat Werk, the coordinator, could not have been more helpful, kind, or professional.
It was a truly wonderful day and we are very grateful both to Grace Church and Pat Werk.

Grace Episcopal Church was the most beautiful setting for our wedding. We are so glad that is where we were married. Pat Werk, the wedding coordinator was extremely helpful - in providing us a wealth of information from the services of the church, to vendors in Madison, to how to get our wedding license. She was also very willing to be flexible to make things work for us (e.g., we had to have our rehearsal on a Thursday instead of a Friday and we had a late Saturday ceremony). We are so grateful for getting to work with someone so caring and professional!!

We got married at Grace Episcopal Church and we are so grateful to everyone that helped us make our wedding a success. They went above and beyond to make our wedding amazing. We loved their professionalism, dedication, hard work and friendly attitude. The church is so beautiful and location is right across the State Capital which makes for beautiful photos. Everything was a success and we really appreciated the attention to detail that the staff provided. We highly recommended the Grace Episcopal Church as a place to have your wedding.

I highly recommend Grace Episcopal Church for wedding ceremonies. Although I am Anglican, I was guided throughout the wedding planning from the beginning to the end. The rector, wedding coordinator, church secretary and other staff at the church were readily available to help me any time. The services were outstanding including obtaining parking for free from the department of transport to make it easier to park on the wedding day without any cost to me and the guests. The church is located in a very nice part of the capital in Madison, Wisconsin. It is very accessible with amenities including several rooms to get dressed, nursery areas for children, a kitchen and even a large hall host a reception.

What a beautiful experience we had with Grace! Pat Werk was very helpful in planning our ceremony and was willing to meet with me when it was most convenient for me (I was an out of state bride). She was able to work with me and my family to coordinate a very wonderful ceremony. I would highly recommend this church for your wedding ceremony! Could not have had a better experience. Thank you!
