Loyce is an absolute master of her craft and a true gem to work with! Flying in to have Loyce alter my wedding dress was, hands down, the best decision I made. Her meticulous attention to detail, wealth of experience, and warm personality made the entire process not only stress-free but truly enjoyable. Loyce's expertise sparkled through in every aspect--from the flawless bustle that looked so stunning, no one even remembered to unbustle it, to the custom bra strap that made my dress fit perfectly like it was made just for me. Incredible

Ms. Loyce at Grace Bridal Couture is incredible. We had a short engagement period and a cross-country wedding. Throughout the wedding planning process, my dress fittings with Ms. Loyce were my favorite part. It felt like the stresses of wedding planning would melt away for the hour I was with her.

Ms. Loyce cares so much about each of her brides. She takes pride in the work she does and wants each bride to look and feel beautiful and incredible. She puts so much time, care, and effort into her work.

Ms. Loyce fitted my dress and made a gorgeous yoke for my strapless wedding gown from BHLDN. She even added the sweetest details to the dress - it felt so special. Ms. Loyce also made a custom veil, to match my dress perfectly. She not only altered my dress, but was a true design consultant for other things I needed - how to I wear my veil? What style veil? How to I transport my wedding dress cross-country in the best way?

She also gave such thoughtful and sweet advice to my fiance and I about things that would help our wedding day be that much more special.

Ms. Loyce cares about each of her brides and gives incredible attention to each one. I'm so grateful for her.

Highly Skilled Artist!

As clearly demonstrated by all the other reviewers, Loyce is very skilled at her craft! She did an excellent job at altering my dress! It was a very detailed Martina Liana dress with lots of beading and after she was done with it, you couldn't even tell it was altered : ) The dress had to be taken down atleast 2 sizes as well, which I was very concerned about and Loyce was able to do it without issue. She definitely knows what she is doing! She also thought of a creative way to include additional lace on the dress where needed due to alterations.
I first contacted Loyce when I thought about having a dress made. Long story short, she gave me all the pros and cons of customized dress making and in addition gave me a long list of other dress shops that I should check out. When I felt I had found "the" dress, she drove over a hour to meet me at the shop and look at the dress with me. This gave me so much relief knowing that the dress I was purchasing was seen in person by the artist who would be altering it. Loyce was there to let me know that she could make any changes to the dress. I've heard horror stories of brides being told one thing at the bridal store about a dress potential for alterations and then they take it to a seamstress and its a different story. Loyce even impressed the bridal store owner with all of her knowledge! From that point forward, Loyce not only became my alterations designer but my consultant! I was able to get her advice on a myriad of things including an issue I had with a veil I purchased and input about the mother-of-bride dress which was being made out of state. Loyce would offer me different tidbits regarding wedding related items and we would converse about our general daily happenings as well. It was because of her I actually decided against a blusher, and I am happy I did : ) She gives you different things to think about and also genuinely cares about you as person, not just a client! Her charismatic personality and love for her career is what draws people to her. She is a jokester but a sweetheart at the same time...lol. I am so glad that I came across her on yelp and forged a relationship with this talented artist!
I felt absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day and this was in big part to Loyce making my dress fit right! Thanks Loyce!

Wonderful!

Loyce is absolutely amazing at transforming a dress! She starts three months out from your date, works with your schedule to create all the fitting dates, and guides you throughout the whole process providing different options and suggestions on how to make it THE dress.

My ceremony dress was originally strapless and we ended up adding sleeves to give more support. I was super indecisive the whole way on what to do and Loyce was always patient and provided different options and looks, cutting and pinning the fabric on me different ways during the fittings! In the end, Loyce was able to create beautiful illusion sleeves! Loyce also used the bottom parts of the dress to bring the back line higher and pulled in the dress to make the mermaid style more defined. No one could tell that we changed the style of the dress! Loyce also made my veil at no extra cost!

My reception dress needed alterations on the straps, neckline, and bottom. Loyce also made the slit higher and added a string (wrist loop?) at the train so I could hold the train up on my wrist while dancing. After the wedding, Loyce cut the train off at no charge so I can wear it again.

Loyce is super patient (I tried on many belts, veils, and undergarments during fittings to see what would go best and I never felt rushed at any of them!), organized, detail-oriented, professional, honest, and fun! Her prices are also very reasonable. Brides, if you're looking for special alterations and customizations, Loyce is it! Also, make sure to plan ahead because she books way in advance!

The Best Experience!

Loyce was an absolute angel from day 1 - she helped to make my vision a reality and was such a joy to work with. She is extremely talented and detailed and only takes on so many brides a year as she does all of the work herself. I reached out to her as soon as I got my dress as she came so highly recommended. We had a great time at every fitting and I felt amazing because of her on my wedding day.

go-to tailor for LA Brides

One of my goals for my wedding was to minimize the stress of planning. I was lucky enough to have my dress tailored by Loyce, who definitely relieved my anxiety regarding how I would look on the day-of.

I bought my dress with some hesitation due to its untraditional style, but after working with Loyce and seeing the final product, I felt confident and beautiful. As others have noted, she is quite busy, so I'd recommend reaching out to her as soon as possible.

Loyce is flexible and a great communicator (very important during wedding planning!). She also created a lovely veil for me.

Far exceeded expectations

If you don't pick Grace Bridal Couture to handle your gown, you are making a grave mistake. Loyce is wonderful- both in her work and as a person.

If you want an experience that does your dress and your dream wedding justice, then she's your gal. Working with her is not a rush in- rush out situation. It's an experience.

Loyce gets to know her brides (and their mamas) and crafts something that fits and exceeds expectations.

Reworking a vintage gown? She's a pro at honoring the past but making sure you're not showing up ready for the Renaissance Faire in grandma's gown. Custom dress? She's there (at your wedding, too) with bells on.. making sure her creation does you justice on the big day. Need alterations? You'll wish she did one of the first two options because her work is better than anything off a hanger. Not to mention the company!

Someone should give this woman a talk show. Think: Delilah - meets Oprah - meets your mom (on her best mom day.) She's got great advice, calls it like she sees it, and a listening ear... wielding whichever one is needed at the moment.

You'll walk out of every appointment feeling better than you did coming in. In fact, fire your therapist and put your feet up on HER couch to talk it out. (It's been done)

I hope you can get an appointment, because if you can, it'll be the best decision you've made since saying, 'yes.'

Oh, and I suggest bringing a bottle of bubbly with you. It matches her personality- and its her favorite. I'd say good luck, but you won't need it. You'll be in capable and excellent hands!

The best in the business and so down to earth

When you have so many things to do for your wedding the best thing is to have someone you can completely trust to do a great job and Loyce is just that! I looked into going to a big chain store for alterations, but they have so many different people you never know who exactly is going to do YOUR dress. With Loyce, you know she's the best in the business and she's the one person who will work with you. I didn't have a ton to do, but she found a great solution to a material on my dress that was irritating my skin so that I didn't look red on my wedding day. I'm not a huge dress person, but I knew it was the one thing besides hair/makeup that everyone would see all day, so I wanted to look nice and be myself. And she was so down to earth and easy to work with it made the whole process so enjoyable. She was so patient, too, in trying to make the straps of my dress just unique enough without being over the top and turned my big-store dress into something totally unique and me. Genuinely, would not hesitate for a second to recommend Loyce and Grace Bridal Couture, whether small or large alterations to your dress. She's clearly been doing this for so long and has the whole system down pat - telling you when your appointments will be and how to make sure it'll be done on time. She's the best!

Simply the best!

I absolutely loved working with Loyce! I contacted her in January for a June wedding, and she easily accommodated my schedule. My dress did not require major alterations (some hemming and taking in on the sides), but Loyce went above and beyond and offered wonderful advice as far as ways I could "complete" the dress (adding a belt, pairing with a longer veil, etc). Her price was completely reasonable, and she had the dress ready well before the date. I highly recommend Grace Bridal Couture!

Excellent, Personable, Detail Oriented

Loyce was one of my favorite wedding vendors! Even though she had a bit of a health scare in the midst of our time together, she went above and beyond to make sure the dress I had became the dress of my dreams. She had an amazing eye on the details, stitching and even knew where to pull lace from to stitch to parts of my dress I had requested to make it feel like my own.

Loyce was always accommodating to my schedule, incredibly kind and personable. She really makes you feel like she cares about your well-being. Not only does she stitch the dress to fit, she also accounts for how your body shape is and makes it look good you!

I highly recommend her! If you want one less thing to worry about on your bridal journey, go with Grace Bridal Couture!

Family Heirloom Restyle

As a wedding gift, a church elder helped my mother sew her wedding dress. It was made so that it could be altered for her two sisters, who also wore the dress. With the help of Loyce, I was lucky enough to be the fourth person in my family to wear the dress.

I found Loyce on Yelp, and after speaking to her on the phone, I knew she was someone I could entrust my family heirloom. My mother and I met with Loyce and made a plan to alter the dress so it would fit me and update it so that the dress was modern. Loyce sent me to fabric shopping to find inspiration. After seeing what I was interested in, she magically pulled out a bolt of 3D lace that was 100 times better than what I found at the store.

Loyce sent me a schedule, which included several fittings and a date/time when I could pick up my dress. At each appointment, I watched my mother’s dress transform. She preserved the top layer of the dress and my mother made it into a long veil. At every appointment, Loyce is focused on you-- she puts in a lot of thought and labor, and the result is a dress that is beautiful and fits perfectly.

I am so grateful for Loyce. She was patient, kind, creative, and extremely knowledgeable. I am lucky to be one of her brides. Thank you, Loyce.

Loyce is the best wedding dress maker in California!!

Loyce is fantastic! She did an outstanding job of bringing my dream dress to life. I had a picture of exactly what I wanted, and my dress looks like it walked right out of that picture. She takes the time to listen and really make sure that every detail is what you are wanting. She gives good advise on what will or won't look great on you, what fabrics will or won't fall just the way you want, etc.

We had numerous fittings so I was always comfortable with where we were in the process and that it really would fit the way I needed it to.

She puts her heart and soul into her work, and it shows. I am so glad I found her and didn't trust my big day with anyone else. I recommend her, hands down! Be smart, go with Loyce.

Quality Alterations, Professional manner and Comforting experience!

I was referred to Loyce from the woman I bought my pre-loved dress from and I was SO glad she sent me to her! All of my bridesmaids and mom lived out of town, so I had to go alone to my first fitting. Loyce was so comforting and immediately made me feel at ease. As someone who works in the fashion industry myself, I care a lot about fit and quality work. Loyce was so professional and precise - I can't believe that she takes regular clients like me instead of all celebrities, lol! Also, she not only did what I asked, she provided some really good advice and ideas as well. The best part.... she made ALL of my alterations temporary so she could take them out afterwards so I could sell my dress! I'm very petite and my dress was all illusion lace on top, and she made it look like nothing happened afterwards. She even took it to the cleaners for me! It was such a pleasure working with Loyce and I will be sure to recommend any future brides to her. She made this big part of my wedding day (the dress) one single thing I didn't have to worry about! I felt so beautiful on my wedding day thanks to her! :)

Making my own traditions

To say that Loyce made my wedding dress dreams come true is an understatement. I was a non traditional bride who wanted a red wedding gown. Suffice it to say, those are hard to come by, especially without a 5 figure price tag. I did go to bridal shops and tried on a couple "traditional" dresses but knew that I really did want to go custom and red. To say that I was nervous at my initial decision is an understatement. But after the first "sample" fitting I could've burst into happy tears because I knew that I 100% made the right decision, but mainly because of Loyce! The entire experience was amazing from first phone call to last fitting. Her customer service is bar none. She made the entire experience so easy. She helped me pick out my fabric (and her knowledge is expansive! knowing which fabric will flow versus stay put, the difference in shades in different fabrics, etc.) and when I told her I wanted strapless (mind you I have a dire need of support in that area) she had so much patience and tried numerous different methods in the fittings to make sure we got the most support with the greatest style and comfort. And with that being said it came down to the wire for finishing touches for the boning and corset and Loyce hand delivered the dress to my house! I opted to go through the dress experience mostly alone (minus a couple fittings) so that all the opinions about my unique choice was not clouding my own judgement, but Loyce never made me feel like I was going at it alone. She truly listened and gave her honest opinions about things I was questioning and that intimate collaboration really made the best dress. Despite having to fight an hour of traffic each time I truly looked forward to every fitting because it always felt like I was going over to a friend's house. I cannot recommend Loyce enough. If you have an image in your head and have no idea where to start, well I'm telling you, calling Loyce is the best first choice you'll make.

Magical Hands means Gown Perfection

Loyce of Grace Bridal Couture is a true artist of her craft. I found her on Yelp and it did not take me much convincing to call after reading through literally dozens of shining reviews. When we met for our initial consultation, I knew she was the one! Loyce saw a GOWN in my white dress. She tailored it to fit me perfectly, and added a few signature touches including a light-as-air train and veil to take my dress from "this is nice" to "omg I never want to take this off." Thanks to Loyce, I felt like a Bride on my wedding day! And it wasn't just because of her tailoring gifts. Throughout our fittings and time together, Loyce wove her personal wisdom in all things love and nuptials, sharing of her own intimate memories and getting to know my hopes and dreams for my marriage as well. Superwoman

Every bride-to-be needs Loyce in their life! I cannot express enough how amazing and talented she is-seriously, she is the superwoman of bridal alterations and custom bridal gowns. She goes above and BEYOND for her brides and she genuinely cares about you and wants you to feel just as amazing on the inside as the outside on your day. I remember Loyce was so booked when I first contacted her and I’m not sure what I did to convince her to squeeze me in, but she made it happen and my dress would not have looked as amazing as it did without her. During my first fitting her years of experience showed right away. She suggested a small change to my dress that I would have never thought to change on my own and it took the dress to a whole new level! Saw the Vision in My Dress

Loyce is divine! I came to her with a beautiful Ines de Santo gown that I wanted to completely take apart and redo. She saw the vision, and added amazing ideas to it (like replacing the original, simpler cathedral length train with an even longer train to give me that drama I was looking for). Loyce is super efficient, but still takes the time to make sure every centimeter fits perfectly. She is an industry vet, and one of the kindest humans you will ever meet. Highly recommended!!!

Miracle worker!

Loyce simply worked magic with my dress. I brought her an incredibly difficult task - tailor a charmeuse silk dress with zero support down at least 4 sizes and make it flatter a curvy body... while I was losing weight. I cannot speak highly enough of her creativity and talent. My dress came out absolutely beautiful and she even worked with me to make very last minute adjustments on my body where my weight loss had changed the strap fit. My only regret is not finding her before I found the dress - I would have gone custom if I could!!! If you have the chance to work with her, take it.

I cannot thank Loyce enough! She went above and beyond at every point of the dress alteration process. She kept me calm under many storms, gave invaluable wisdom, and most importantly.... laughs when it was most needed. The alterations were not easy (major reconstruction) and were absolutely flawless. Victorian Rose

it's now been a few days since my wedding and i am glad i chose loyce. she went above and beyond and turned my "cheap" pink gown into the wedding dress of my dreams. yes, pink, victorian rose to be exact. i felt like the craziest bride for choosing such a color but loyce made me feel so beautiful in it, that i never even wanted to take off my dress, and i definetly had no regrets. no reception dress for me! haha Loyce went out of her way to make me a veil, she hunted down the exact pink tulle for it knowing how bad i wanted it to match, i was thinking of going no veil, im glad she convinced me to have one. you only get to wear a veil once. in the end, i realized i didn't have fancy wedding dress dreams at all.. what i was dreaming of was the expierence loyce provided. getting my alterations done with her was the best decision i ever made, i was very lucky that she made time for me because i couldn't imagine anyone else getting it all done perfectly the way she did. by one look she knew what my dress needed, and in the end..i knew i needed her.

A very special lady to help with your very special day

I didn't know what I was doing when I told my mom I would use her veil in my wedding. Enter Loyce: I found Grace Bridal on Yelp and sent Loyce an email telling her I wanted to make a custom veil out of my mom's old one. We met a few days later and so began my journey with Loyce. I looked forward to each of my fittings because they meant time with Loyce. She offered everything from husband help to style advice and made me feel like I was with a family member while creating this special piece for my wedding day. In the end, my veil turned out so perfect, it was the centerpiece of my outfit and the accessory people loved the most. I would recommend any bride visit Grace Bridal!

Wonderful and professional

I had a dress disaster on my hands where I needed a seamstress asap. Loyce saw me immediately and gave me the best advice-buy a new dress. Alterations and steaming would be really expensive and may not turn out the way I want. She easily could have convinced me to do hundreds of dollars of alterations and didn’t. She was so kind, understanding, knowledgeable and friendly. I will get a different dress and bring it to her for alterations.

There aren't words to describe how fantastic Loyce is. I bought my dress 'custom' from a local designer. The dress was 2-4 sizes too large, plain and had a poor quality belt. I needed help and Loyce was my savior.

I called Loyce 6 months out due to her being in very high demand. I was panicked, in the depths of dress regret and not even sure what the dress needed to fit my dream. Loyce was kind and understanding over the phone. She asked me to email her pictures and made some reasonable and honest assessments of the dress.

Once she was sure that she had time to take me on as a client, she scheduled me for several dress fittings. The first time I met Loyce she was so kind, welcoming and calm. She was confident she could help make the dress fit but also redesign aspects of the dress to make it my dream dress. Over 3 appointments she took-in the bodice, lovingly attached hundreds of pieces of lace and added volume to give it that princess look that I wanted. I even bought a cathedral-length veil from her that made the whole dress even more magical.

Loyce essentially remade my dress. She helped me understand what I wanted and knew how the dress should fit my body and move. The bustle she created for the dress allowed me to dance all night long. Her alterations were beautiful, durable and completed just in time for my July wedding.

If I could go back in time, I would have had Loyce design the dress from scratch. Loyce gave me my dream dress and I am so grateful.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!!! Out of all of the wedding planning my experience at Grace Bridal Couture was by far the best. I heard horror stories about finding a dress and it fitting right and getting it tailored but none of those were true for me. My dress was the easiest part of my wedding and hands down the most fun. Loyce is a magical woman and was nothing less than perfection. My dress was perfect, every detail was immaculate and she was honest when my ideas would not work and gave me ideas that took my dress to the next level. I went into the process with an idea in my mind and she delivered and more. If I could I would go to her for everything because not only is she that talented, she is wonderful to be around. I feel so lucky, and privileged to have had the opportunity to meet and work with Loyce for my wedding gown. When I first started researching places to do alterations for my dress, I was completely blown away by the number of 5 star reviews for Loyce at Grace Bridal Couture. After reading glowing review after glowing review on yelp, weddingwire, and theknot, I knew I needed to book her and FAST! I thought I was "ahead of the game" when I called Loyce in January for my November wedding...NOPE. Loyce let me know that despite my thinking I was early to call, she already had filled up for the year! BUT, because my dress was fairly simple (and needed few alterations) she was able to squeeze me in. WORD OF ADVICE FOR FUTURE BRIDES: Loyce is a hot commodity in LA and she books up fast. I recommend booking a year out (even if you don't have a dress yet!). I still consider myself so so so lucky that she was able to squeeze me in, and was beyond relieved. As other reviewers mentioned, Loyce is not only excellent at her craft, but she is an all around AMAZING soul and person. Every fitting with Loyce she made me feel so excited, beautiful, and special, and she has such a calming presence (so important when you have a million other wedding things going on!). I have heard horror stories about other wedding dress tailors in LA being unpleasant at fittings, and Loyce is the literal opposite. She takes the time to listen to exactly what you want, talks through different options and provides her opinion, asks about the wedding and gives helpful tips/advice, and makes sure you feel absolutely amazing in your dress. She expertly took in my silk crepe dress where I needed it, made me a cathedral veil, and created a masterful bustle that was not heavy (despite my massive train), was easy for my bridesmaids to do on the wedding day, and held beautifully the entire night. I had a fantastic experience with Loyce on my heritage wedding dress. The dress was my moms, and it had a few holes in the train and had long sleeves. Loyce actually found the exact same lace as my mom’s 40-year-old-dress! She removed the sleeves, rebuilt the bodice to make it fit me, and covered the train’s holes with appliqués. The end result was fabulous and well-priced!

Loyce is the best in the business, and she’s hilarious too. You will have fun and will end up with a perfectly restyled gown that is sentimental but also YOU. Loved it.

I went to Grace Bridal Couture in hopes that Loyce could turn my $15 find into a Berta inspired gown. When I initially got the dress it was just an outer shell of lace. What this amazing woman created was nothing short of miraculous! I shared my vision for the dress with her and together we collaborated to make the dress I was dreaming of/could never afford. Eventually I bought a duplicate to add a train and scalloped edge for the back of my dress.

What Loyce really did for me as a bride on a budget was give me lower cost options and the freedom to pick every detail of my dress down to the buttons.

Tips I would give to new brides are as follows:
- Make sure to book in advance at least a year ahead to make sure you get on her schedule. She's a very busy woman and has people fly in to work with her. Make sure you keep this in mind when booking appointments with her.
-Know what you want ahead of time and be clear and concise about the details.
-Don't be afraid to speak your mind. Loyce is very honest and will share her opinion with you but if there's something you truly want make sure to tell her.
-Lastly, make sure you discuss your budget with her. She is very accommodating and has worked on everything from high end gowns to ultra budget ones alike.

When you make the choice to get your dress done here you're not only getting a dream dress but an experience. It's completely natural for any bride to feel overwhelmed and stressed out leading up to her big day, and I was definitely no exception. Loyce and her assistant miss Linda worked with me every step of the way to make sure I was happy with the final product. She is very understanding and offers words of wisdom and kindness. She even pushed back my dress pickup date to accommodate me. My husband and I had the most amazing talks with her, ranging from practical wedding advice to keeping me calm and focusing on the big picture. Dress fittings were in a word magical. It was everything I wanted!

Everything about Loyce is incredible. She was seriously the best part of wedding planning for me. Going to her fittings was always like going to my best friend's house for a sleepover. She is fun, hilarious, organized, easy to talk to, and most of all, talented. She is the true designer of your dress, and she is worth every cent. Book her as soon as you get engaged because she is very busy, and rightfully so. You won't find a better dress designer/alterations lead than Loyce. I paid her $400 flat for four fittings, which was way lower than I expected given the amount of time, work, and effort she put into my alterations ... all with one hand that wasn't working due to a short-lived illness. She gets the job done no matter what. You're lucky to work with Loyce and know her as a person.

Loyce is unbelievably talented and did an incredible job altering my wedding gown - which was no small feat considering the layers of material! She made it fit perfectly and gave me great tips for how to wear it and what to wear it with. She has years of experience working with brides, and it shows in the way that she counsels and calms. Plus, she is very fun and my bridesmaids and I had a blast at every fitting. When it came time to pick up my dress and make my payment, I was shocked by how reasonable the final price was.

She is that rare combination of an uber-skilled person who genuinely takes care of her clients and doesn't take advantage of a bride in a weak and stressful time. I have recommended her to all my friends and will be going back for other special occasion tailoring in the future. Thank you, Loyce!!!

I bought a beautiful gown from BHLDN that I fell in love with as soon as I put it on.. but I knew alterations would be a lot of work. I'm 5'1" and the dress was meant for someone who was closer to 5'10". While it was beautiful, the skirt of the dress looked pretty difficult to alter because of the trim at the bottom and the way the skirt was made of several panels.

Nervous, I went to my first appointment with her and she immediately put me at ease that she had an idea of how to approach it. She ended up taking apart each layer of the skirt to shorten each one, which would make the dress short enough. Additionally, the top of the dress needed a bunch of adjustments because my torso is much shorter, which she was able to do without a problem. She was very accommodating with scheduling.. Between our second-to-last and last appointments, I lost some weight which made the dress that she had pinned and basted for me so well a month before not fit anymore. Thankfully, she's an expert and knew that the dress may need some last minute adjusting, so she hadn't sewn the lace in places where it wouldn't be fixable. She didn't hesitate to add in one more appointment for me to make those last minute changes and make sure I had my perfect dress for my wedding.

Aside from her obvious talent, Loyce is also the sweetest and wisest person. I thoroughly enjoyed every session with her and it's easy to tell how much she truly enjoys her job. She is amazing and I highly recommend her!

I am beyond grateful that I found Loyce at Grace Bridal Couture! I visited what seemed like every bridal salon on both coasts for over a year and could not find a dress that felt like "the one." I found so many dresses where I would like one part, but not another, and I didn't have the budget to make huge alterations anyway. I finally decided to take a leap of faith and meet with Loyce about a custom dress. I'm so glad I did! Loyce is down-to-earth, fun, one of the most hard working humans I have ever met, and incredibly talented. She will go above and beyond to make sure your dress is perfect.

One of my main challenges was that while I knew what I didn't want, I didn't have a dream dress either. Loyce was great at helping me figure out what I wanted, and was very patient and accommodating when I wanted to make changes too! Loyce of Grace Bridal Couture was seriously amazing. If you are looking for a tailor who has years experience with altering wedding gowns -- or even making a couture gown for you, you must get Ms. Loyce!!

My dress was lace, modified trumpet, and made by Essence of Australia. It was a sample dress, so we had to take in the dress in a few places and hem it. She has incredible attention to detail and even took a piece of lace to artistically cover the zipper. It wasn't until I went to Ms. Loyce that my wedding dress felt like MY dress. :)

I was really in a bind and a fellow bride recommended Ms. Loyce after doing a lot research. She has small, intimate shop so I never felt like I was the millionth bride she's worked with. And she always has a recommendation - she even recommended a fantastic cleaner to get my dress cleaned. (It rained on my wedding day, so my dress HAD to get cleaned!)

TIP: Book her early!! My friend came for a fitting and was hoping to have Ms. Loyce take a look at her dress but Loyce was booked full! Also, if you order a dress and have the option to leave the dress unhemmed and "open" on the bottom, it helps the tailors to go inside the dress and make the necessary adjustments.

Loyce is truly a gem and so talented and amazing! The moment I got engaged I knew I was going to contact Grace Bridal Couture to make my custom dream wedding dress. Loyce has been a special part of my family- she designed and made my sister-in-law’s, my sisters’ and my very own custom wedding dress. All were stunningly beautiful and very meaningful. For both my sister and me, incorporating our mom’s family heirloom dress into our wedding dresses was very important and special as we lost our mother at a very young age due to Cancer. In my Dad’s own words “ Loyce is now the official wedding dress designer of our family”.
When I contacted Loyce, I was an ecstatic bride-to-be as I was planning my fairytale destination wedding in Italy. I will never forget her enthusiasm and excitement to design and make my dress and incorporate my mom’s dress into mine as she had with my sister’s wedding dress. She knew that planning a destination wedding was not easy so with no questions asked she graciously accommodated my schedule for all my fittings. Loyce’s commitment and dedication to creating my dream wedding dress was invaluable. She included me throughout the entire design process and her passion and creativity made it so much easier. The process began with her asking me to send her pictures of sample dresses and silhouettes that I liked. She immediately responded and said that she will make my dress how I want. She then recommended a couple of fabric stores for me to go to and choose some fabrics. She gave feedback on the fabric and what would work best. She picked up the fabric from the store herself and once we began the fittings, it was the most enjoyable experience. The end result was amazingly stunning and beautiful!

Loyce with Grace Bridal is BY FAR the best alterations lady in Los Angeles. Not only is she exceptional at alterations, she makes wedding dresses from scratch and can make you any type of dress you are looking for. She is so talented and spends all the time you need to make sure your dress is perfect on your wedding day.

I ended up losing more weight the week before my wedding and Loyce stayed up until midnight the night before I needed to leave for my wedding to take my dress in more and drove it all the way to my house in Santa Monica from her office in Beverly HIlls.

Loyce is also AMAZING and so fun! I was sad to be finished because I wouldn't be able to hang out with her anymore. She was also my therapist for 6 months and let me vent about wedding stuff and just talk and hang out. I love Loye and my dress was PERFECT on my wedding day because of her.

Words cannot describe how incredible Loyce made my bridal dress design process. I first went to several bridal shops to try on dresses and was immediately overwhelmed. Nothing fit well or looked quite right on my body. My mom suggested looking into getting a wedding dress made. After searching Yelp, Wedding Wire and other sites I came across Grace Bridal Couture. I sent Loyce an email of what I wanted and within a few hours she had replied that she could make it happen. The whole experience was incredible we spent almost 9 months shaping the dress. Loyce was very accommodating with my work schedule and extremely nice about having to change appointments last minute. Going to her shop after work quickly became something that I would look forward to all day. She gave me a few recommendations on where to find fabric and I ended up with the most beautiful beaded lace. The finished product of my dress was absolutely breathtaking and yes I cried. Everyone LOVED my dress and could not stop raving about it. In Nigerian culture brides usually go through 2-3 outfit changes. I was so in love with my dress that I wore it the whole entire day/night!! Thank you so much Loyce!! I look forward to wearing my dress every year on my anniversary or coming back and having Loyce transform it into something else.

Loyce was AMAZING! She has such a sweet, caring lady. Loyce has been in the business for a while and it is evident that she really knows her stuff! I purchased a dress from BHLDN (which had some intricate beading) and Loyce knew exactly what to do. She explained all the steps necessary to alter my dress and, in the end, the dress looked like it was made just for me. A few weeks before my wedding, I decided that I wanted to wear a veil (I had been debating for some time). Loyce was able to handle my last minute request and make me the perfect veil to go with my dress.

There are a lot of things that can cause stress when planning a wedding -- having your dress altered is not one of them if you go to Loyce. She makes the entire process so easy. She will spend extra time with you during fittings to make sure you get exactly what you want; she is only happy when you are happy.

The worst part about the whole process was when I realized I wouldn't get to see Loyce on a regular basis. I thoroughly enjoyed our fittings and I am so sad they had to end. THANK YOU SO MUCH LOYCE!

Loyce is incredible! She has a vision for each bride and dress and has the adept skill and enthusiasm to bring this vision to life. She is hardworking - willing to take late appointments, drop off dresses, hunt down lace and do whatever else you need to make sure your dress is ready on time and in style. She even brought in extra help during a particularly busy phase. Her knowledge of alterations and couture is impressive. She broke my dress down to the bones and brought it back together in a way that was even better than the start. She is a perfectionist and scheduled multiple fittings until we got it right. For those daring brides who want to page homage to your mother's/grandmother's/g-grandmother's heirloom wedding dress but still want look like a fabulous modern bride on your wedding day - Loyce is the only woman for the job. My mother has talked about her wedding dress since I was a little girl. She was so proud of this dress that she worked hard to afford in the 80's and it was the epitome of bridal gowns of the time - long sleeves and lace with a Victorian style. When the time came for me to look for a dress, there was no question that I wanted a very similar dress if not her dress for my wedding day. I dressed shopped, but just didn't see any styles that remotely resemble her dress in my small budget so I looked for alterations experts in the area to see if it was even possible to redesign the dress into something that fit and flattered. My search left me at a loss, until I stumbled onto Loyce!
Loyce takes what's already in the dress and brings the best parts of it to flatter the best parts of you. It's truly a gift, I can't explain it! Seeing the final design of your dress the week of your wedding sounds nerve racking until you how she works and how talented she is. We spent about 9 months shaping this dress and those appointments with Loyce and my mom were my favorite part of the wedding planning process. I feel like I've known her forever now through this whole dress transformation experience. She goes above and beyond and even spares time to share her life wisdom when you need it. I couldn't even imagine how good I was going to look until Loyce swooped in and exceeded my wildest dreams! My mom's wedding dress is now my wedding dress and a design that will prove to be classic in the years to come. I couldn't think of a better way to honor my mom. Loyce is the BEYOND amazing. are there 10 stars because I wish I could do that?! I came in back in January with my moms dress I wanted to make into my own, but I was soooo indecisive on what I wanted. Not only does she have a great personality and great schedule for those working / out of town but she has such great advice on weddings and your day in general.

Doing a custom heirloom gown and not seeing the dress until the last minute can be stressful but I had so much trust in Loyce I never had to worry. My mom wanted to be involved in the process so she made the veil and Loyce got the right tulle to go with it and was even wrapping a comb for me when I picked up the dress!

She humored me when I was indecisive and helped me talked through all my options that I cannot WAIT to see how everyone reacts on Sunday for the big wedding.

Loyce was amazing! She did an amazing job with the alterations on my wedding dress. We had several fittings which turned into pep talks from her! Loyce of Grace Bridal Couture is not only a master, but an incredible woman who is so lovely to work with. She did extensive alterations and added several custom elements (including hand stitched lacework, halter straps, and a custom made veil) to my dress and truly transformed it into my dream dress. Loyce was the best choice I could have made for gown alterations. It was a pretty tricky alteration with dress I chose - but her unbelievable talent improved the dress in so many different ways. She has such an eye for detail and consideration for what you want for the dress from every angle.

I had so much fun meeting with Loyce each time and would recommend her to any bride looking to have your dress altered or custom made as her work is AS GOOD AS IT GETS.

I bought a dress from BHLDN (Anthropologie) thinking that it would be easiest. I was incredibly mistaken, and the saleswomen who did a great job of showing me the dress didn't mention the fact that in order to make it remotely fit it would need major major alterations, and complicated ones at that. Finding someone to do those alterations was incredibly nerve-wracking, but I absolutely lucked out in finding Loyce. She is so incredibly skilled. Over and over at my wedding I was told that my dress looked like it was made for me, and that was absolutely not the case when I received it. Not only is Loyce astonishingly gifted and such a perfectionist when it comes to the dress, but she was wonderful to deal with on a personal level, very caring, very invested (and opinionated!). I feel incredibly fortunate to have met Loyce, and couldn't recommend her more.

Loyce was incredible from start to finish! I didn’t think that having my dress altered would be a fun part of the wedding planning process, and it ended up being a highlight because of Loyce! She was so patient – I didn’t decide on my wedding shoes until the final fitting, and Loyce kept telling me that I should take all the time I needed. We laughed throughout the whole process, and Loyce made it so comfortable to ask questions. She explained in detail what she was going to do and why, and I always felt that I had a full say in whatever the decision was. In addition to her wonderful business style, she is incredibly skilled. My dress was ordered too small for me, and Loyce did all she could to make it look better – I felt beautiful in the dress on my wedding day, and it’s because of Loyce!! I recommend her highly to all brides – she is just the person you want working on your wedding dress!!!

There is no one better than Loyce when it comes to getting a bride ready for her wedding day. Other than marrying the man of my dreams, she was the best part of the whole wedding process. She altered my aunt's heirloom wedding gown for me and created a dress that was beyond my wildest dreams. Loyce also convinced me to wear a veil for my wedding and it really tied together the whole look. Everyone at the wedding was just blown away by my gown and veil at the wedding. No one could take their eyes off of me and I have never felt more beautiful in whole my life. And that is all thanks to Loyce, my personal fairy godmother! Loyce was fantastic from beginning to end. I bought a sample dress and took it in to see what Loyce could do. There were minimal alterations needed and instead of trying to sell me on expensive alterations, Loyce figured out that by adding a few crinolins under the skirt, we could avoid having to take out and redo the hem all together! Additionally, she made me a gorgeous veil that was the perfect touch to a stunning gown. She has all the best tips for getting your dressed cleaned and traveling with your wedding dress. Loyce took care in every detail so that my dress and I were ready to travel to France on our fabulous day! Could not be happier with her services.

If this thing had a million stars that's how high I would rate the shop owner Loyce at Grace Bridal Couture! She truly deserves that and more. Let me start off by saying that Loyce is one of the most genuine, caring, patient and loving individuals I have ever crossed paths with. I am a Yelpie at heart, and after realizing I didn't have much time left to get my wedding gown altered (purchased at BHDLN) I was blessed to come across reviews written by other ladies who had worked with Loyce. I decided to giver her a call not knowing what to expect, I had previously called two other businesses who left me less than impressed. Speaking to Loyce was a breath of fresh air! She was amazingly sweet from our initial conversation and was extremely accommodating and respectful of my work schedule. I brought in the gown I purchased (which in my head fit perfectly...ok maybe just a little less than perfect) but was 10 feet too long for my petite frame. Loyce took her time with me, made me feel extremely comfortable from the beginning and made me trust her from the get go when she said she would fix EVERYTHING that was wrong with my gown (and trust me there were PLENTY of things wrong with my gown.) For starters as mentioned previously it was way too long, the torso was also too long, It needed to be taken in, it was also in desperate need of some bling and a little poof at the skirt (just to mention a few things.) Loyce took care of everything and more! All of our meetings were private, she gives all of her brides one on one time (which most places don't do nowadays) listens carefully to your needs, and works so hard to make all of her brides happy. After realizing how much work my gown needed, I am so thankful I found Grace. Even though I didn't purchase a custom made gown from her (which now I deeply regret) the final product looked like it had been made for me and only me! Since I was little I dreamed of getting married with my mom’s dress, and Grace Bridal Couture made this dream come true! If anyone on help deserves 5 stars, it is Loyce. She gives you everything you would want from a dress alteration. With how much you spend on a wedding dress, you want to make sure you are in good hands. It is such a huge part of the wedding and cannot be left to someone you don't trust. If you work with Loyce, you are not only in "good hands", you are in the BEST HANDS. She made me feel like everything was taken are of and I had nothing to worry about but to show up to my appointments. I had no hesitation and doubt that she would make me look and feel like a princess. With all the million of other things that you stress out about during wedding planning, getting your alterations should not be one of them. Her quality of work is amazing. She made all the changes I needed and helped me with things I didn't even consider but should have. Loyce made sure that I wan't leaving her shop with being 100% comfortable. She also made me a beautiful veil. She was spot on with the color and length.

Not only Loyce have impeccable work, her personality is what sold me. There is no other dress designer that will make you feel as comfortable as Loyce. Loyce is literally everything and more! She is so professional, honest, hard working, and truly truly cares about her work and her brides! I found Loyce on Yelp and connected with her the moment we spoke on the phone. I'm usually very hesitant when it comes to web referrals, but that was my only option. I bought my dress in New Jersey, but live in LA. I did a ton of research on alterations and kept coming back to Loyce's work. My dress was lace with beading and I was really nervous to let anyone touch it. Good thing I went to the right person! Not only did Loyce alter it perfectly, but she also added a GORGEOUS crystal belt and made me a custom veil to match my dress. I've honestly never felt as pretty as I did on my wedding day.

Just to add a little color to how magical she is...She spent 3 hours with me on FaceTime with my mom in our first meeting. After that, we had a SECOND "first" fitting to show my sister and best friend in her shop. They LOVED her. Then, we both decided together that I didn't need an additional fitting. On the day I went to pick up my dress, Loyce accidentally left the veil at her house. In true Loyce fashion, she went all the way home and then came to MY HOUSE (that's right she came to me!!!) to delivery the dress and veil. I don't know of any other wedding vendor that would do that!

Like all of the other brides the worst part about this is that I don't have any more fittings with her!!! I encourage everyone reading this to just call her. Custom dresses or alterations! She's a dream. Also, she will 100% work with your budget! Love this woman!!!

Grace Bridal Couture is absolutely fabulous. I had purchased my dress and veil only about 2 months before my wedding, and it needed alterations. Even with my time crunch, Loyce took me on anyway, and I'm so grateful that she did. My dress was made of a delicate silk, and my veil was standard cathedral length- I'm only 5'2, so quite a bit of length needed to be taken off of both items. I could not tell where the original stitching ended and Loyce's alterations began, both were flawless. In addition to her amazing work, Loyce was incredible to work with, her enthusiasm for her craft is electric and has one of those personalities that makes you feel instantly comfortable; I would highly recommend her to any future bride.

Loyce has honestly spoiled me as far as vendors are concerned. She is so helpful, responsive, and provides such a high level of service. Loyce is a Genius!! I fell in love with a Pronovias dress and purchased it online. I thought it was a flattering fit for my shape but had some major concerns with maintaining the elegant shape of the dress with the alterations it would require to fit my 5'3" stature. I serendipitously met her at a fabric store while I was shopping for material to make a few alterations to my dress (I had not yet found anyone to do the actual alterations). She helped me solidify the idea and choose the best material and then offered to do the additions herself! I came to loyce because i fell in love with a dress that was completely out of my budget. I don't know much about weddings, so finding out I was supposed to begin alterations 2-3 months before my wedding sent me into a fit of fear (I had two weeks). I reached out to Loyce and immediately felt relieved. She assured me she could make my dress fit despite weight gain, could shorten it no problem, and have it all done in a week. I was nervous, but she was so calm about everything. A few days before my flight, I sent her a new curveball- I was leaving 24 hours earlier than expected.

She had my dress ready the next morning. I love her, I recommend her, and you cannot go with a better bridal tailor in L.A. She will do what you need when you need and will make you feel like a star no matter what you throw her way.

Loyce, the owner and designer at Grace Bridal Couture, is absolutely amazing and helped make my vision come true. After spending weeks going to all the usual places (saks, jlm, Nicole miller, etc...) , and feeling utterly disappointed, I decided it was time to try to look into a custom gown. I was admittedly hesistant at first- I didn't know if I could 'afford' a custom gown, and I wasn't sure if I had the energy or vision to deal with what I assumed it would entail, and didn't know if she would be able to create the style I like - but I figured a phone call couldn't hurt. Loyce picked up, and everything changed. First, she assured me she could help stay in my budget ($$$). But more than anything, she put me at ease in a way only a true industry legend can do. I honestly booked her over the phone.

Our subsequent meetings were a highlight of my wedding planning. I'm not that girly, but she made me feel like a princess. Her online photos do not do justice to the variety and high quality of work she is capable of. Quite literally, through a series of appointments, my ideal dress was created around me. And it was exsiquite. Italian lace with a open, criss-cross back and a corset at my tush. I received so many compliments on it, I almost got tired of hearing it :).

As much as I truly loved my dress, I have to say best part of all was working with Loyce. Seriously. The woman freaking came to my wedding and helped me literally until I was walking down the aisle. Who does that?!? And she's freaking adorable with a fantastic too. My mother in law still talks about how much she loves Loyce.

All I can say, make the damn call. There is no downside, only the possibility of having the wedding dress of your dreams!

I can't say enough good things about Grace Bridal Couture & Loyce! Wow! I first contacted Loyce about doing a custom gown. From our first phone call, I knew she was the one. She is so sweet, patient, hilarious, and most of all - she is an EXCELLENT gown maker! When the dress is sewn to your body, it will fit like a dream. I ended up purchasing another dress and took it to Loyce for alterations. That dress turned out to be a disaster, and Loyce rescued it from the beyond and made it into my dream dress! This involved essentially making an entirely new top, and she also sewed the skirt from mother's wedding dress inside so it would be a part of my dress. Loyce also made a stunning full length veil. It fit amazingly well, and the high quality showed in our wedding photos. She had incredible recommendations for the fit, thought of all sorts of gorgeous creative tweaks, and the end result was truly stunning - everyone loved the dress and said they hadn't seen anything like it! She found the most amazing, unique lace that we used for the top. I knew I was in good hands when I went to Mood's Fabric and all the employees were raving about Loyce!

Loyce was SO fun to work with - I looked forward to our appointments. Not only is she an incredible dressmaker, she is a psychologist, advice-giver, and that calm person you need to be around in the craziness of wedding planning. She WILL make the dress of your dreams happen!

Meeting and working with Loyce made what was already a very exciting time in my life that much more special. My gown was simply stunning and fit like a glove...I literally heard that it looked like it was painted on me! I honestly don't know where to start. I had always envisioned my dream wedding dress and when the search for the perfect designer started I had someone else in mind. But then my mother told me to check out the designs that Loyce has created. I opened the page and immediately knew Loyce was the designer that would make my dream dress a reality. She is such an amazing person and a true motivator. Upon our 1st meeting I knew she was going to be part of the family even after the wedding.

Upon our 1st meeting I was a little nervous, but she listened to me and eased my mind. She knew what I wanted my dress to look like. It was like she was reading my mind. I was a little nervous every fitting but she helped ease the stress of planning a wedding. She was also a great encouragement as I begun to loose weight. She was such a joy to have around as the weight came off. She was very proud of me at every fitting as the inches came off. She was my main motivator for loosing weight.

My mom attended every fitting with me and as we began to slowly see the dress become a reality we both started to get very emotional. Loyce does such an amazing job I don't know how I will ever repay her for her amazing vision. She has now and will forever be part of my family.

When my original alteration arrangements fell through 2 months before the wedding, Loyce came to the rescue! She responded to my last minute request for help in altering and redesigning my mother's vintage lace wedding dress with warmth and enthusiasm. She worked with my budget and was available for multiple fittings to not only tailor the dress to perfectly fit my body, but also to redesign the dress with a more modern twist. The dress came out beautifully, Loyce was lovely to work with, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting an heirloom dress redesign.

Honestly, I can't even begin to describe how amazing my experience was with Loyce. It started out about 7 months from my wedding day. I had found a dress that I LOVED on Pinterest, with absolutely no idea of who the designer was.
I began frantically calling seamstresses all over town to see if they could recreate a similar dress. Most made it seem like it was possible, but would cost a fortune. But Loyce took the time to explain the entire process, eventually talking
me off the ledge (I later found the dress, which turned out to be $8,000). Instead, she assured me that once I found my dream gown, she'd be available to make sure it fit me like a glove. And boy, SHE WAS NOT LYING! Loyce was
one of the most amazing experiences I had during the wedding process. My dress not only fit me exquisitely, but she offered up advice that I needed during that time (having just lost my mother to Cancer a year ago).
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Grace Bridal Couture. She is one of a kind.

Loyce is a true gem! I met with a number of tailors in Los Angeles, trying to find one I clicked with to work on my mother's wedding dress (now my wedding dress) and once I met Loyce I knew my search was over. Loyce LOVES vintage wedding dresses! She understands how special they are, the detailed work they require and she knows how to modernize them while still respecting the original designer's vision. I couldn't have been in better hands! For my dress, Loyce restored the hem and some beadwork, created a bustle for the train (that was perfect!) and re-fitted the sleeves (twice! due to my indecision...) The work she did was truly stunning. She also gently sewed a comb into our ninety-year-old family veil that was secure, but could be removed for the next bride. I would trust her with any garment. She is incredibly skilled and I could not have been happier with the end result. Loyce knows her brides, she loves them and she understands how important the dress is. Especially with an heirloom dress, you will be hard-pressed to find anyone who cares more than she does. And to top it all off, Loyce is such a sweetheart! She's so wonderful to work with, is always in a good mood and very easy going. She made the fittings fun! And she even texted me on my wedding day to give her support from afar! Wearing my mother's wedding dress was a childhood dream. Loyce perfected the dress so I could make that dream a reality. I recommend her wholeheartedly.

Wow, what do I say other than I'm overwhelmed with joy and thankfulness! I feel so incredibly blessed to have found Loyce. When I was looking for someone who could help me look fabulous on my wedding day, I searched for months and found alot of bad reviews. I found Loyce's website and read all the amazing testimonies and couldn't wait to meet her. From the moment I walked into her studio, I realized this wasn't going to be any ordinary situation. She spent her time getting to know me, and my style. She kept me laughing with her own stories and advice on marriage. She helped me as a plus-size bride put together a one-of-a-kind look that was fabulous. She cared about the details like how I would wear my hair, jewelry, accessories that fit the theme of the wedding. She really helped me find the undergarments that would make my dress look amazing and every suggestion she made was perfect and was exactly what i needed. This isn't your standard bridal studio, this is a one-of-a-kind experience. Even my fiancé one time stopped by after my fitting to meet her and she encouraged us in our future marriage and lives together. You can't help but to walk away from each experience with Loyce without being encouraged and even more excited about your day.

My dress was simple, but perfect for my day, but the thing I appreciate the most about Loyce is her ability to fit a dress style to every brides dream day. It doesn't matter how simple or even how elaborate you want it, she will find the right style and fit for you all while keeping you laughing and joyful in the haste of wedding preparation. Looking back over my experience, I am so thankful for the chance to work with Loyce and almost wish I had a reason today to get another dress done. She was a highlight to my wedding prep and helped this bride walk down the aisle in style and and perfection. Thanks Loyce!

After finding the love of my life & him proposing to me, I realized that I needed to start planning our wedding. Whenever I had thought about my wedding, the one part I knew would be the most exciting & yet nerve racking would be finding a dress! After countless Saturdays of driving around LA trying on dresses at a variety of bridal salons.... I had hit a wall. There was NOT ONE in which everything was perfect!! I was so nervous, emotional & frustrated because my wedding was approaching & driving around to continually leave with disappointment had begun to drive me crazy. Mid-way through my hell of wedding dress shopping & pulling in the dress and trying to explain the fit I wanted, with the fabric and design, I had said, I should just have it made!! Well, luckily I did!! I found reviews from multiple women that had wonderful experiences of having Loyce create their dream dress, so I decided to give her a call & see if this idea would work. Literally, as soon as I hung up the phone after our first conversation, I called my fiancé (now husband) & was sooo excited that I found the perfect woman to create my dress!! Loyce, is heaven sent. She created EXACTLY what I wanted & I had so much fun on our journey of getting it made together. She is a lovely woman whose contagious energy & enthusiasm was my light of the pre-wedding planning process. She has years and years of experience & knows exactly how to balance the bride's vision with her wisdom to not create something that will be a regret. If you have a vision she will create it and make it perfect every step of the way!!!! It is such a wonderful journey, watching the evolution of your dress and the modifications along the way... and in the end... NO one has my dress. She puts her heart and soul into her beautiful dresses and when its done, you feel her beauty & love surrounding you in it!! If you are thinking of having a custom dress made, call Loyce. You will love her, love the process & LOVE the dress!!!!

"I knew from the moment I met Loyce, from Grace Custom Bridal, that I wanted to work with her on my dress for the big day. She was fun, attentive and just so reassuringly open and honest with my ideas and throughout the fittings. Despite moving away from the idea of recreating a dress, Loyce was my go to lady for alterations on the dress that I eventually found. Other than her own fabulous skills, she also helped put me in touch with others in the business that she trusts for Bridal underwear, dry cleaning and alterations for my Mom's outfit. I can't thank her enough for her vivacious support that saw me through what is an inevitably emotional time."

Finding myself overwhelmed and on a very tight timeline, my maid of honor referred me to "Grace Bridal Couture".
Loyce, the owner and designer of "Grace Bridal" was a such a pleasure to work with. Before meeting Loyce I had a not so pleasant experience shopping at my local bridal stores. It left me almost in tears because nothing fit right. I had two things that were not in my favor. I was a plus size bride with a plus size bust line.

Loyce the owner and designer of, Grace Bridal Couture" , is more than a designer she stepped in as a big sister, mom, therapist, wedding consultant, life coach, and she was my shoulder to cry on when I became stressed. She mostly helped with the sadness I felt because I lost the two of my parents three years before. They wouldn't be there on my special day.
She was able to design the dress of my dreams by helping me understand what would work on my body type. But she also incorporated every detail I wanted. She cut away pieces added pieces, found more than gorgeous beaded lace that was a must have. She designed my dress within my budget. Her sister Bridgette named my dress "Marriage With A Promise". And that's ever bit of what my marriage is to be.

I can remember the day my dress was finally finished. After Loyce laced me in tight and placed the veil upon my head I looked into the full length mirror wanting to burst into tears because my dress was absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous, Radiant, Adorn, Couture, Elegance. All of GRACE.
Loyce I can't thank you enough for the greatest experience. I've found in you a big sister that has given me so many life lessons. You have become my counselor of marriage and now a life long friend.

I had an excellent experience with Loyce at Grace Bridal. I loved how I never felt rushed during my appointments. She is very thorough with her schedule in order to give each bride a large amount of individual attention - I was never awkwardly waiting for someone else to finish up, or vice versa. Loyce truly caters to you and makes you feel special. All of my requests for alterations were achieved with her expert knowledge and skill.

Completely ghosted me 2 months before my wedding.

DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR- THEY WILL GHOST YOU LAST MINUTE

Completely ghosted me 2 months before my wedding. I had been in contact with Loyce since July 2023 who assured me that I was "on her books", and raised no flags about being ready for my April 2024 wedding.

As previously agreed, I called in December when the dress arrived to set some time, and was told she would reach back on in mid January when she was back in town.

It's now March 2024 and I have never heard back despite leaving voicemails and reaching out again via email. When I finally gave up on waiting for her in early Feb, the other alterations specialists I reached out to were either unavailable on such short notice, or charged me large fees for "last minute" alterations.
