I wanted to do a boudoir photoshoot for my fiancé as a wedding gift, and Grace & Lace Boudoir immediately stood out to me. Not only for all of the positive reviews, but Jeni's website and incredible photography. My whole experience with Jeni was amazing. Her friendly and approachable demeanor made me comfortable, and she was so positive and encouraging throughout the whole process. Her detailed emails made me confident, and she made herself available if I had any questions. Plus, the photoshoot was SO much fun. Highly recommend! -

There could not be a better human in the world than Jeni to help you walk through this process. She makes it so comfortable and provides a very loving, supportive space the moment you walk in the door. We all have that inner critic that is sometimes a liiiiittle too loud in our heads and Jeni shushes that critic effortlessly. She is so talented with her attention to details, posing instruction, and working in favor of your body's image. I cannot imagine having anyone else do this for me! Side note — her makeup artist / hair stylist was just as amazing and did a fantastic job. Five star flawless experience beginning to end, worth every cent! -

I wanted to do a Boudoir shoot for awhile, but could not find the time or courage. While pregnant with my first baby, I was actually searching for a maternity shoot photographer. My best friend brought up the idea of doing a pregnant Boudoir shoot, but I of course didn't have the courage to do that and already had a vision for a maternity shoot. Once I had my baby, I revisited the idea of a Boudoir shoot a few months postpartum and found Grace and Lace. I loved the portfolio she had on her website, so that sealed my decision.
Upon inquiring and booking, you fill out a questionnaire so the team gets to know your story and vision. That's helpful and starts the communication thread. I booked my shoot months prior and had to do a schedule change, but we were finally able to secure a date.
On to the photoshoot: I was nervous on my way there, but the minute I walked in the makeup & hair artist, Noel, and conversations with both of them before the shoot helped me warm up to the experience. During the shoot, Jeni guided me through different poses and she was soo fun! She creates a positive environment, hypes you up, and really works with your comfort level. You can just tell she wants to capture you at your best! The viewing session just brings back those memories and I have no regrets. Jeni puts in hard work to make sure her clients leave feeling beautiful! I'm super excited to receive my final product. :D Highly recommend Grace and Lace, especially if you're on the fence about a Boudoir shoot- you won't regret choosing them! -

Jeni is the best! I decided to do a photoshoot as a wedding present for my fiance and the photos turned out so awesome! Jeni made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. With every outfit change, I became more confident. I 100% recommend Grace and Lace for your boudoir photography needs! -

This past year and a half I have been in a constant state of wedding planning. I have spoken with vendors on the phone, emailed, and sent the occasional text here and there. To say wedding planning is a very stressful full-time job is an understatement.
I always knew I wanted to get a boudoir photo shoot done for my wedding night so when I came across Grace and Lace it seemed like a perfect fit from the start. I am happy to report that of all purchases I made for my wedding, this was by far the most worth it. She has a confidence about her that got us through the times that I was feeling a little nervous. I mean, after all, it’s not every day you dress in lingerie for a stranger. The beautiful thing about it all was by the end of the shoot, and the photo album reveal. I felt completely comfortable with her! It’s not every day you do a sexy photo shoot, but I will time and time again rave about my experience with Grace and Lace.
Now to you brides, I am going to guess that from all the chaos wedding plan has brought you, you are likely in pretty good shape? Why not take advantage of that amazing body and get a boudoir photo shoot done? -

As most clients, I was nervous about this but SO GLAD I did it! Jeni and Sarah made me feel so comfortable by sending a detailed ahead of the shoot and talking about life in general during my hair and makeup time. I felt like I got to know them on a personal level and they are so easy to talk to. They love what they do and it shows! They want to help their clients feel beautiful and love themselves, and they put great care into each and every detail. I trusted these two lovely ladies and their expertise, and they did not disappoint. I would recommend this experience 1,000/10! -

Wedding gift to my future hubby
From start to finish, Sarah and Jeni made the experience feel so comfortable and normal even when walking around basically naked. The makeup and hair turned out so beautiful and was based on my makeup and hair preference (they send out a questionnaire prior to your session to get to know you) so I didn’t feel too plain or too glamorous and unrecognizable; it was perfect for me. The photos turned out incredible, there were lots to choose from. A ton of poses, different angles, color and black and white. I got the photos back and was so pleased with how my body looked which I didn’t know what to expect with being photographed so exposed; they surpassed any expectations I had. This experience was a lovely boost of confidence and was lots of fun getting all sexy. I cannot wait for my fiancé to open up this album on our wedding day! This is an amazing gift idea. You get to the fabulous experience doing it and then you can use it as a gift. Both of you get to benefit :) -

What a truly amazing and empowering experience! I don't even know where to start because there are so many incredible things I want to highlight. Let me preface by saying I don't take photos regularly and can get uncomfortable in front of the camera. From the first communication after booking my shoot to the photo viewing session/ordering and every stage in between, it was sincerely the best experience and more than I could have ever imagined. Sarah is an amazing hair stylist + MUA. She considered everything I wanted and flawlessly incorporated it into my look. I felt so beautiful and sexy. Thank you Sarah!! From picking my outfits, directing my poses and more, Jeni made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire session. I am in AWE of the photos. Both Jeni and Sarah made me feel so comfortable and they take sincere time to get to know you and your why behind your session. Both Jeni and Sarah were extremely helpful in preparing for my session, what to expect and answered all my questions along the way. I will be referring everyone looking for a boudoir photographer to Grace & Lace. Thank you forever Jeni & Sarah. I cannot wait to show these to my fiancé! -

I had this idea to do a boudoir shoot for my fiancé as a wedding gift. I searched online to read reviews and was looking for anything that made me feel confident enough to actually go through with the idea of doing a boudoir photo shoot lol. Grace & Lace boudoir came up and the reviews were so nice and sounded very much like what I was looking for with this idea in my mind. I set up an appointment and suddenly felt really nervous but also excited. The day came for my photo shoot and my fiancé had no idea about. I told him I was going to a hair and make up trial for the wedding day so we could go out to dinner afterwards! The day of my photo shoot I arrived to the studio I immediately fell in love with Jeni and Sarah. Jeni does such an amazing job at making you feel comfortable and she’s so sweet. She also does the poses she is trying to relay you to do which is extremely helpful! Sarah is a hair and make up guru. She picked the perfect shades to make my skin and make my eyes pop for my photos. The entire experience was beyond my expectations. From getting to chat with these impressive women to last minute deciding to bare it all out there in their studio. I left feeling so confident and honestly just so proud of myself. The way Jeni and Sarah made me feel is something I will never forget, and it definitely shows in my photos! I can’t wait for my fiancé to see the book we’ve made and add an unexpected twist to our wedding day lol! Thank you so much Jeni and Sarah, you both are truly amazing. -

The whole experience at Grace and Lace was beyond anything I could have imagined!!! I had SUCH an amazing experience. The entire process from hair and make up (seriously felt SO GORGEOUS, thank you Sarah!) to shooting was SO exciting and just so much fun. I felt incredibly comfortable the whole time, and I loved all of Jeni's direction and suggestions from poses to wardrobe. She has an amazing eye and is such a talented photographer. I expected to feel a little nervous, but I just felt sexy and beautiful which was awesome right before my wedding. I am so obsessed with how everything turned out, and I seriously cannot wait to give my honey his gift! Thank you ladies for an amazing experience! -

I wanted to do something fun and different for my husband for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. I cannot even begin to say how amazing this experience was. I read the reviews and did my research and I mean a LOT of research. Once I noticed they quoted scripture and were a couple of girls that were Christians, I felt much more comfortable. Grace and Lace was the perfect fit for me. The moment I emailed it was a done deal. They communicated everything I would need the day of the shoot, directions, etc. They even had a sign on the door with my name on it. The day of the shoot I was nervous but excited. Meeting Jeni and Sarah made me feel very comfortable from the start and I felt like I was in great hands. Sarah did a fabulous job on my make up and hair and while she did my hair and makeup Sara went over my 3 outfits. This photographer knows what she is doing, and she will show you how beautiful you already are even if you have flaws, and believe me I have a lot of them. I had no idea what to do at first and was totally self-conscious and felt awkward, but she told me exactly how to pose. She was really great at giving directions that brought out my confidence and natural sense of what to do. AND it was a workout for both of us. I hurt for a few days after but no pain no gain. On top of that, every pose looked so good and natural once I saw previews of the photos. It was so incredibly hard to decide on which ones to choose. SO of course I chose them all! She was so friendly and conversational during the shoot. She was also incredibly encouraging and positive and made me feel beautiful and empowered. I was SO FIERCE by the end of this shoot I even came home and sent my husband my own pictures of me while he was gone. Literally within minutes of the viewing a week after the shoot, Jeni sent the digital proofs in a password-protected gallery along with a proof of my book. To be honest choosing was truly the hardest part of this entire process, which means she is pretty amazing at what she does. This was an amazing experience from start to finish. I am having a very hard time not showing my husband before our big day. Thank you both so much for helping me with the perfect gift
