Ed and his team in the Schaumburg office gave the Groom, Groomsmen, and Jr. Groomsmen great advice and service! He was willing to go above and beyond to ensure each man looked perfect! He has a personal approach, and is very patient with everyone involved including the BRIDE! -

Terrific Tuxes
I rented tuxedos from GQ Formalwear for my wedding and I was quite happy with the entire experience. Ed is a quality guy and very friendly. He and his staff definitely know what they are doing and they put us in excellent-looking tuxes for the wedding day. They suggested options to help me create a cohesive look for the wedding party. In addition to my own tuxedo, we rented tuxes for five groomsmen, an usher, my father, and my father-in-law. All of our tuxes fit great, looked snappy, and were quite comfortable to wear for an entire day. They have a great selection of tux/suit options here and multitude of accent colors. Since we rented so many tuxes, I received a custom-tailored suit, which looks great. Additionally, they picked up our rentals from the hotel the next day, which saved us the hassle of needing to drop them off. My wife and I were also able to take advantage of the discount they offered on wedding invitations, which really helped save some money from our budget. One suggestion for the invitation process would to make sure the couples are aware of 'black out dates'. The tuxedo rates at GQ are pretty comparable to other places, but the perks and service really make this place stand out. Thanks to Ed and the whole crew! (Photo by Bryland Photography)

Seriously - go to this tux shop.
It was worth the experience. We went to two other tux shops and we did not get the service like here. They had a lot of the items there for try on and it was very easy. They helped with colors and styles. They also worked very closely with our venue (The Cotillion Banquets) so we got a deal ON TOP of the Fab 5 Deal we got at a Wedding Vendor Show.
All of our guys and our dads got fitted and had a good time getting their tux. They also picked up our guys' suits at our hotel!
I would choose this place over other places ANYTIME. Come here for their proms and weddings, you will not be disappointed. -

We had won the Fab Five deal at a wedding show near O’Hare airport, and couldn’t have been happier to have won such a great deal with such a wonderful company. The Fab Five deal included free groom tux rental, free groom tux, reduced price on additional tuxes for bridal party (groomsmen, usher, dads, grandpas, etc), hotel pick-up the next day, and a GREAT deal on Carlson Crafts for invites, thank yous, and anything else in the catalog/binder. The people there were wonderful to work with. They advised well on getting tux fittings around the busy prom time. Meghan was great to work with when we were first trying on colors/patters/styles etc. My husband was in the Marines and his groomsmen that were out of state were able to send in their measurements with no hassle and everything fit perfectly! When we wanted to change the color of the undershirt to ivory (instead of white), it couldn’t have been easier and they handled it very well. I truly enjoyed working with Donna for the invitations and thank yous. She sent multiple drafts to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. I am not usually picky, but she allowed me to feel free to share any detail and changed it accordingly. Ed, the owner, was unbelievably helpful in picking out Kevin’s free suit to keep. He stayed late and hemmed it for him right away. If you get a chance to work with GQ formalwear for your wedding (especially if they have the Fab Five deal or something close to it), we would definitely recommend them to you! You cannot get the specialized attention you do there at any other formalwear retailer. -

For a previous wedding we stood up in they had used GQ Formalwear for their tux rentals we had a good experience then and this is why we chose to use them for our wedding. The contact all the way around is very fast and responsive. During the initial meeting and trying on of the suits, they offer many different options and go above and beyond to make sure you see all of them in person. They are very accommodating for all of your wedding party's needs and different styles. The only suggestion I have is to make the shop hours more available in the morning for those whose work schedules cannot accommodate the late hours. I had to pickup my husbands, father of the bride and groomsman suits all because they were out of state or were traveling for work until late that evening. 1 out of the 3 suits fit correctly. We had to postpone our travel plans the day before the wedding so the groom and groomsman could drive to the Elmhurst location (an hour away) when they opened at 10am, just so they could get the suits corrected for the wedding the next day. Otherwise note to the Brides and Grooms, be sure all of the guys are able to make it into the shop before the wedding to try on the suits.
