  Nothing But Amazing

  My review is long overdue, but here it goes! My husband and I got married in November 2019 and we couldn't be any happier that we choose Good Omen for our wedding day! From the beginning (when we booked) to the end JB is amazing to work with. He always made sure to make us feel comfortable and he was super responsive when we had questions. You can tell that JB loves what he does! We really enjoyed that he also speaks Spanish, so it was amazing to see him communicate with everyone and capture some great shots!! There is only one regret we have about Good Omen, we wish we would have booked them for the entire night because they are so worth it!!!! Nothing but amazing things to say about JB and his photography skills!

  Happy Tears, Happy Tears

  Update: We received our full gallery and somehow, they still surpassed our expectations, even after our sneak peek. I wish that we could give them more than 5 stars. JB & Val made it possible for us to relive the best day of our life over and over again. They truly captured the love and happiness we all felt that day. We’ve all shared many, many happy tears looking though our photos.
  
  Original: I don’t know about you all, but the photographer was one of the most important things for me, when planning my wedding. I have always placed a lot of importance on being able to hold memories in your hands. I have photo albums allllll over my home, so this was huge for me. I searched all over for a company that had more of a moody, romantic feel to it, and I was directed to Good Omen Co. I went to their website and fell in love immediately. JB & Val are absolute angels and made the whole process even easier. On the wedding day, they made my husband and I feel so comfortable and really helped us with posing, because we kind of struggle. I’ve only received a few sneak peak photos so far, but I’m 100000% in love. I cannot wait to see the rest. Do yourself a favor and book Good Omen Co.

  Couldn’t be happier!

  Good Omen was beyond amazing! JB was so easy to work with and the pictures turned out better than I would have expected! He was able to capture us in every shot! They are perfect and we will be able to cherish them forever!

  BEST Photographer /videographer Ever!

  JB is the sweetest, he went over and beyond. We felt like celebrities with all the glamour pictures that we took. He is super professional and loves what he does.

  Use Good Omen Co- you won't regret it!

  Using Good Omen Co for our wedding and engagement pictures was one of the best decisions we made! JB is such a positive and fun person, and he was able to immediately put us at ease even when we felt like a couple of fish out of water with the whole wedding planning process. Although it was a bit more than we'd initially projected for our photography budget, Good Omen was able work with us to create an custom option that was feasible for us.
  
  JB is incredibly talented, and he just made us feel so comfortable being ourselves while shooting. We're a pretty high energy, goofy, cheesy couple, and he was able to capture both the ridiculous dancing and the beautiful heartfelt moments as newlyweds. He did a great job capturing candid moments throughout our day without being disruptive. He has a great idea of what he's going for and could therefore give good direction, but also is ready to roll with your personality and mannerisms. That energy and creativity was also clear in group shots with our family and friends.
  
  One thing we didn't anticipate but really appreciated in retrospect was JB's efficiency- he was able to get wonderful pictures that we wanted and that aligned with his own vision, and did so in less time than we'd originally allotted for pictures. This allowed us to spend more time with our guests at our reception, which was just such a surprise and a gift!
  
  We got our pictures a little less than 3 weeks after our wedding, and WOW! They tell a story, and we cannot stop looking at them and reliving all the joy of our wedding day together. We cannot recommend Good Omen Co highly enough- thank y'all so much for capturing our day with such artistry and care!

  Absolutely amazing!

  We’ve only had our engagement session so far but it was absolutely amazing. I told him what my vision was and he made it happen. We had so much fun during our shoot, I didn’t even think about making sure my pose or smile was “just right”, he captured our genuine smiles, silliness, and love for each other. These are our favorite pictures of us and I can’t wait to see how he shoots our wedding.

  The best!

  Jorge was very professional since the first moment we spoke to the very end. Good Omen Co. was by far my favorite vendor, JB and Valerie make you feel comfortable in front of the camera and make everything feel so natural. I am very happy I hired Good Omen Co. to record/photograph my wedding. You will not be disappointed, they are worth every penny!

  The pictures will speak for themselves! AMAZING TEAM!

  I feel like I hit gold finding JB and his company. I cannot recommend him enough to everyone. My husband and I had THE BEST experience with him shooting our engagement pictures. My fiancée and I are bit awkward in front of the camera because we are completely goofy people and cant take anything seriously. JB made us feel so incredibly comfortable and captured the fun and all the pure love My husband and I have for each other. He instructed us how to talk, walk, stand and pose, and he put us at ease and made us laugh so much. My friends and family fell in love with the photos that they gifted us a huge canvas of his work as the centerpiece of our gallery wall. Im definitely praying he doesn’t leave Houston so we can use him for all our family photos and holiday photos in the future, lol!
  
  I always tell everyone to INVEST IN A GREAT PHOTOGRAPHER for your event, especially your Wedding. These are precious, once in a lifetime moments, and the only thing that can help remember them all is through photos, and you will be looking back at them for a lifetime. They need to be able to capture the feeling and love you felt during that moment. JB and Val definitely do that. They are such a great energy to be around and they are such genuine caring people, not to mention INCREDIBLY TALENTED, and their photos speak for themselves.

I’ve literally looked at my wedding gallery like 20 times already. Every time I look at the pictures I relive the day of our wedding.   I can't express how grateful we are that we found JB and his team. From setting up the package that best fit us and our budget, to making the payment and our entire experience with him on our wedding day was just perfect! JB was so easy to work with, I wanted to find someone that we would feel comfortable being around with on our wedding day and of course deliver excellent work quality and we just couldn't be any happier with him. He captured every detail of our wedding day that we wanted, we felt super comfortable with him through the day and the quality of work was exceptional!!! I still can't get over our wedding video, honestly every time my husband and I watch it we get emotional and we re-live our wedding day all over again. We are forever grateful with JB and his team for the incredible service and for being a part of our best day ever, it's a memory that we will cherish forever. Thank you will never be enough.

  Wedding Photography

  We hired JB after witnessing the amazing job he did at our bestfriend’s wedding. He was great from start to finish. From the day I reached out to him for pricing to delivering the pictures and answering questions about prints and albums. Out of everything we paid for for our wedding, Goodomen was the best investment. After the wedding the only thing left is memories, photos, and video and we are very impressed with our investment. I highly recommend Goodomen for anybody’s photography needs!

  Best Everrr

  JB is one of the best things we did for our wedding! Such a blessing that the stars aligned! First of all, he literally SAVED us when our original photographer had to cancel on us just weeks before our wedding. I had seen JB's work featured on various wedding pages and I thought there is no way we could afford him and that he was available - but he is and he was!
  Second, he made us so comfortable!! Which is REALLY hard to do because my husband and I are both painfully shy and awkward and we were really dreading being in front of a camera. Luckily, we got a little bit of practice via our engagement shoot with JB! He struck a perfect balance between making us laugh hysterically and giving us space to enjoy the moment and let it sink in that we are about to get married! He also super rushed to get us our pictures back within days of the shoot because we were SO close to our wedding day!!
  
  At the wedding he was also fantastic at being non-intrusive and an excellent director to people who have no idea how to take a good photo.
  His pictures turned out BEAUTIFUL! More than I could have ever hoped! He captured every moment of the best day of our lives! Going through the pictures we were reminded of so many little moments that got lost in the crazy day! We seriously cannot say it enough, you have to book this incredibly talented, kind and professional human!!

  We LOVE Val and JB!! We heard about them through a friend who had selected them for their wedding, and as soon as we saw their work online, we were HOOKED. JB has such a keen eye for those beautifully candid moments, and for keeping everyone looking very natural and genuine. He also knows how to capture EXACTLY what you are looking for in a shoot - I wanted bluebonnets for my bridal portrait session and he found the most AMAZING location for me. The bridal portraits are stunning!
  
  On the big day, JB and Val made the perfect team! They were well organized and did a great job communicating with me about their plans for the day.   My wedding ceremony pictures came out so beautiful! Every moment was captured perfectly and he had so many ideas that worked so well with the view. So happy he was my photographer!! Also Valerie did an amazing job on my hair, everybody loved it! They're both so talented and make the perfect team! I definitely recommend their work!

  Awesome photography!

  From Beginning to end JB did an amazing at capturing every moment of our wedding . I loved how we had such Great communication throughout the wedding (and that is key to me) Our wedding photos came out so beautiful as well . I highly suggest booking Good Omen for any occasion .   I just did my engagement session with Jorge and it was amazing!!! It was my first time ever to do any kind of photography so I was a little nervous. He made me and my fiancé feel so comfortable!! It was so fun and still 3 days later I can't stop thinking about it. Jorge is extremely talented and sooo passionate about what he does. I can't wait for my wedding! I've never been so sure with who I went with. I'd refer him to everyone!!!

  Our Wedding photos were absolutely breath taking! We got married in Cancun, Mexico. Jorge (who by the way we are so grateful to have chosen) is such a professional and fun to work with. You can see the passion and love he has for what he does and you can definitely see it in his work! Not only do I have beautiful memories of one of the most important days in my life but he did such a great job in capturing the beauty of our wedding destination. We are what they call a "Blended family", and it was so important that we had great photos of not just our wedding but of our Cancun trip since it was an unforgettable experience for me, my husband, and our boys. Jorge was kind enough to also shoot a mini family session on the beach on our last day in Cancun. Every single picture is really worth a thousand words!:)

  Best Wedding photographer!

  My husband and I can’t say enough great things about Jorge and his wife Val. We recommend Good Omen to everyone we know! Jb has such great communication throughout the whole process, that was one less thing I had to worry about when planning our wedding. His work is amazing!! He will literally make you and your spouse look like you belong on Pinterest. & let’s face it, that’s where I got all of my wedding inspiration from. Our wedding was November 2017 and we still get so many compliments on our photography/videography. They are one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! They captured the whole event spectacularly. When we seen what great pictures he and his wife took of us for our engagement session we knew everyone would love them just as much as we did! My husband is a bit shy & dislikes taking so many pictures but Jorge made him feel so comfortable, he smiled in every picture. & That right there, is a huge deal for me. When we seen our photos & video of the wedding I cried happy tears, We couldn’t believe how beautiful everything turned out! After our wedding we also hired them to take our maternity pictures. When people see our pictures they are literally in awe of how great they look. I can’t wait for our son to be old enough to sit up because we will hire them again to do a at home family session! The Good Omen team has such a great eye for detail, it shows in all of our photos and videos. I will continue to hire them over and over again.

  Didn't meet my expectations

  When I first reached out he was very responsive and made the effort to come out all the way to our side of town to discuss details which is why we decided to book with him. When we decided to have a two day wedding he wanted to charge something that was out of our budget. We couldn’t get our deposit back so we chose to use him for our ceremony only. Part of our package deal was an engagement session which my husband and I didn’t have much fun at. The poses felt forced and we didn’t feel comfortable or ourselves with him. The day of the wedding they showed on time and captured our pictures but I was very disappointed with how mine and my husbands came out. I had a cathedral veil that he didn’t bother showcasing and it’s not like I could extend it out myself. He bunched it up and didn’t extend it out for the pictures. I was so disappointed and bummed that I can’t go back and change that.
