If we could give Good Noise more than 5 stars, we would!
From the moment they started the cocktail hour with the incredible saxophone and guitar duo, we knew we had made the right decision. Then the reception started, and they absolutely blew the roof off the venue. There truly aren’t words to describe the energy they created or how they made us feel. They didn’t just play music—they created an experience that our guests will be talking about for years.
What makes Good Noise even more special to us is that they were playing at a local bar on our very first date almost five years ago. Having them perform at our wedding felt like everything had come full circle, and it made the day even more meaningful.
When you’re planning a wedding, it’s easy to focus on staying within your budget. Looking back, we can say without hesitation that Good Noise was worth their weight in gold—and then some. If there’s one vendor we’d tell every couple not to compromise on, it’s the entertainment, and Good Noise exceeded every expectation we had.
One of the most unforgettable moments of the night was when John invited us on stage to sing one of our favorite songs with the band. We thought the dance floor couldn’t possibly get any more electric, but somehow it reached another level. It’s a memory we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives.
Among the gorgeous flowers, incredible food, and stunning venue, one of the biggest topics of conversation all night was the band. Nearly all 200 of our guests—and even members of the venue staff—were amazed that Good Noise maintained that level of professionalism, world-class musicianship, and nonstop energy for five straight hours. Every song was performed flawlessly, the dance floor was packed from beginning to end, and the atmosphere they created was simply unforgettable.
To John and the entire Good Noise family: thank you for giving us the wedding reception of our dreams. You didn’t just perform at our wedding—you became one of the most memorable parts of our story. We will recommend Good Noise to every engaged couple we know without a second thought.

Everyone danced all night!
Good Noise Band is the BEST. We found them playing in LBI at our favorite bar and they also played at my brother’s wedding. John is the best to work with — he is so knowledgeable and the band is just amazing! They played sooo many songs and we even got on stage and sang with them. They played all our requests, but the best part was if you want to be hands off (wedding planning is enough as it is lol) then they will cover everything for you! Love them so much and will be recommending to everyone!

Best wedding band!
I don’t think I’ll ever get over how incredible Good Noise is. We first saw them at a friend’s wedding and knew instantly that we needed them for our own, because there was truly no comparison. They were an absolute dream to work with and brought so much fun, talent, and energy to every moment of our day.
Their song list is unbelievable. They kept the dance floor packed all night with everything from 1960s classics to today’s hits. I can’t imagine a more versatile band. They transitioned effortlessly from Blink 182 and Eminem to Chappell Roan to “My Girl” and other timeless staples. Every transition was seamless, and the set was so good that nobody wanted to step off the dance floor for even a minute.
And beyond their talent, they are SO MUCH FUN. It genuinely felt like having our own friends performing for us. They hyped up the crowd, had us singing along, and created the most joyful, high-energy atmosphere.
They also handled our ceremony music, and it was absolutely beautiful. John and the entire team were incredibly accommodating and made sure to learn our ceremony selections and first dance song with care.
We even ended up adding an extra hour to our reception, and thank goodness we did, because no one wanted the night to end. In the days and weeks afterward, guests kept telling us how phenomenal the band was.
We are beyond grateful that Good Noise was part of our wedding. They did not just play at our event. They made it. Truly the best decision we could have made.

Good Noise went above and beyond. They were the absolute best, we had about 250 people at my wedding and the dance floor was packed the entire night. The next morning I had over 200 text and phone calls about how great the band was. People are STILL talking about the band. It was the highlight of the night. They played all styles and types of music from the 80s to current hits. They exceeded our expectations. John is great to work with and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a band at their wedding.

11/10 Wedding Band
Good noise played for my wedding. I had seen them once before at another wedding and they rocked hard. I had reached out to John before our wedding asking if my one of my groomsman could play a few songs and his response was ABSOLUTELY. I also asked if he could learn a few songs (specifically toxicity by System of a Down) and same response ABSOLUTELY. The best part of the night was when they had me come up and sing toxicity with my buddy playing the drums. Best moment of my life. Right after my wife came up and sang sugar we’re going down which also was 11/10 electric. If you want a boring wedding, don’t book this band.

Good noise saved our wedding
If you can get this band for your wedding... DO IT!
My wife and I feel so lucky to have had Good Noise at our wedding! Our celebration was unfortunately interrupted by multiple false fire alarms, resulting in two full evacuations. Without Good Noise, I’m not sure we would have been able to recover the mood and energy of the night. You can’t deny there’s a certain elegance and electricity that only a live band can bring—and our guests felt it.
Good Noise is the real deal. Not only are they incredibly talented musicians, but they’re also a seasoned wedding band that knows how to adapt, read the room, and deliver the perfect musical experience.
John Anthony was in the trenches with us, getting everyone dancing and making sure we all had the best night of our lives.
Listening back to their set, you'd swear it was recorded in a studio! It felt amazing to have every guest come up to us raving about the band—we heard over and over how incredible they were.
Bottom line: there are a lot of wedding bands out there, but if you're lucky enough to bag Good Noise, congratulations—you’ve just treated yourself and your guests to a night they’ll always remember!

The Best Kind of Noise, GOOD NOISE
We cannot say enough good things about this band! From start to finish, they were an absolute pleasure to work with — super personable, easy to communicate with, and incredibly professional.
What really blew us (and our guests) away was how they kept the dance floor packed all night long. Their transitions between songs were seamless, and they read the crowd perfectly. Every set flowed effortlessly into the next, keeping the energy high and the party going.
So many of our guests came up to us saying it was the best wedding band they'd ever heard — and we completely agree. They truly made our night so special and unforgettable. This band will forever be our favorite, and we feel so lucky to have had them be part of our big day!

The most iconic
We were first introduced to GOOD NOISE at a good friends wedding where my boyfriend and I at the time had the best night ever dancing and singing. After one too many cocktails, I had put an online inquiry about their future availability. Flash forward almost two years later, they absolutely crushed it at our wedding in Philadelphia. Guests raved about them (and still are) and the vibes were electric from start to finish. They know how to get guests involved throughout the entire night and make everyone feel like they are at a concert. John is amazing to work with! Any request we had he was able to match it with ease. We knew going into wedding planning we needed GOOD NOISE to be a part of our special day and they exceeded our expectations. I'd give them 100 stars if I could. Best band ever.
We got married in June, and Good Noise was the highlight of our wedding. My biggest wedding fear was that people wouldn't want to dance, and as soon as Good Noise came on, that fear went out the window. They played songs for every decade, and the dance floor was packed the entire night.
From the start, the coordination was amazing and super organized. They played acoustic guitar for our ceremony, guitar and saxophone for our cocktail hour, and full band for our reception. They also have DJ equipment, so there's never silence, even when they need to breathe.
The music is incredible, and if that's not enough, they are also super kind and super reliable and will make your wedding or any event memorable.

If you are looking for a fun and upbeat wedding with a full dance floor, GOOD NOISE is the band!!!! They truly made our wedding an unforgettable experience and we are so lucky to have found them! Our dance floor was packed and by far my favorite part of the night. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. We found The Good Noise through friends of ours, so we already knew they were great, but working with them for our wedding was even better than we imagined. John is amazing to communicate with and the whole band was so friendly and accommodating. Just a lovely group of people to work with. In addition, they are the absolute best wedding band we’ve ever heard. When I say everyone at our wedding was on the dance floor, I mean everyone! From the our best friends to the shy uncles and 80 year old grandparents. Everyone was dancing and having the time of their lives. The best band we could’ve ever had at our wedding!
This group of people are the friendliest, coolest, most talented crew out there. From our first conversation, John was incredibly accommodating and confident in bringing the best vibes to our big day. I did not have a single ounce of stress regarding such a big part of our wedding (the music) because he made the whole process so easy, seamless, and enjoyable. If I ever had a question/thought, he was readily available to discuss it. The music at the ceremony was perfect, and they put on a seriously amazing show during the reception that kept everyone on the dance floor the entire time. They were interactive, fun, and read the room so well. Everything went even better than I imagined it to & I owe so much of that to this team. I seriously cannot thank or recommend Good Noise enough.

Good Noise is absolutely exceptional. They played our wedding last month and took the night from amazing to unforgettable. They’re simply elite. They helped us with our entrance and gave us amazing suggestions any time we asked for guidance. I can’t express how many people texted me the day after commenting on the band and asking for their information. Everyone was up dancing the entire night. Best decision we ever made for our wedding
Good Noise was the best decision we made for our entire wedding. We literally can’t thank them enough for entertaining us and our guests all night long. They are so talented, and they are truly a band like no other. They hit each song with perfect transitions and did not stop to even take a break for hours. Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night, and we actually had to make people leave to go eat dinner. John was so responsive and flexible, he checked in with me so many times leading up to the wedding and they learned so many songs for us. During the wedding, he continually checked in with me and made sure everything was going great. They even played extra songs at the end because my guests kept chanting “one more song!!!”. The vibes were immaculate. Every person at the wedding was asking us where we found them and kept complimenting how amazing they are!! Seriously so worth it, they MADE the wedding. Good Noise was amazing for my wedding. They had everyone up and dancing- from my friends to my 88 year old grandfather and everyone in between. They learned a few special songs for us including a rock song not many bands would play and they absolutely killed it. In addition to being an amazing band, the emceeing was perfect, they did exactly what we wanted them to. Since my wedding last week, 5 people have asked me about my band for their own weddings. It’s weird to describe a vendor as having my back, but they really went above and beyond to do just that. I know not everyone cares about this, but John is also one of the kindest people I’ve met. It was great to work with them and I recommend them to anyone who wants to have a fun and memorable wedding!

2 months post wedding and guests are still talking about how incredible our band was! GOOD NOISE did a great job of keeping everyone on the dance floor all night. They just kept playing one bop after another and everyone was loving them. They came highly recommended to us by our venue and we are so grateful we ended up choosing them. We went to see them play a couple of times before our wedding at Just Jake’s in Montclair, NJ. John was so personable and made an effort to come and talk to us between sets and really get to know us. Our wedding reception would not have been the same without GOOD NOISE!

I could not recommend Good Noise enough!!! If you are thinking of booking them for your wedding - DO IT! They absolutely made the night what it was- playing hit after hit after hit with such energy and talent. All of our guests (of all ages!) were on the dance floor all night long and we still get compliments on them months after our wedding. John also was incredible to work with throughout the wedding planning process. Good Noise is your band
This is THE wedding band - no one else comes close! We got married at The Asbury on 9/30 and it was the best night ever thanks to Good Noise. From the moment we had originally seen them at Jenks down the shore a few summers before, we knew their energy is absolutely unmatched. I wasted money on furniture at my wedding because NO ONE sat down the entire night. The dance floor was packed and it's all thanks to Good Noise! They are also all incredibly personable and Mike is the best when it comes to booking. I didn't have to worry about anything and they took care of things and made it so, so easy. The entire planning process is so stressful so it's amazing to have someone laidback and who's done hundreds and hundreds of weddings who can so easily guide you to what you need. Don't spend money on chairs - spend it on this band. Your wedding will be a night you will never forget and your guests will rave about the party you threw for years to come. THANK YOU SO MUCH GOOD NOISE!!!!!

How does one find the words to compliment the soul of a party? How can we possibly thank the group of people that took time to listen to our wedding day vision - in all the intricate and emotional details - only to bring it to life seamlessly? The best wedding band in the tri-state area
BEST NIGHT EVER. My husband and I first saw Good Noise play at Just Jakes about 6 years ago. We have truly loved them ever since. In 2019 they preformed at my sister-in-laws wedding and it was legitimately the best wedding I have ever been to... that was until 2 weeks ago when they preformed at my wedding!! They exceed expectations every. single. time. After getting engaged my husband had 2 non-negotiable requests. 1) open bar 2) Good Noise. We had both and it was truly the best night of my life. Good Noise is a fantastic band with SEAMLESS transitions. This band takes an already good wedding and turns it into the best wedding you've ever been to! My husband and I, along with all of our guests, were on the dance floor the entire night. Prior to our wedding night my husband and I always joked about how excited we were for our own private Good Noise concert (and obviously to get married as well)! If you are on the fence about spending the extra money to go with a band, specifically Good Noise, or go with a DJ... go with Good Noise, trust me you will not regret it...they are worth EVERY penny. Good Noise was the best (& easiest) decision we made throughout our wedding process! John was so kind and easy to work with. We didn’t have a wedding planner, so John was very helpful with planning the timeline of our night. The communication was excellent from text/email response time in planning to checking in the night of to make sure everything was going according to plan.
From the ceremony and cocktail hour acoustic guitar to the amazing reception, the band was incredible. The dance floor was packed the whole night!!! They made our dream a reality! I feel like the band was out there the whole night. Also, no need to pick and choose every song, the band had a great read on the dance floor and has fun transitions between songs!!
We loved them!!! And more importantly our guests loved them, people are still raving about how much fun they had on the dance floor!

GOODNOISE was absolutely incredible! We got married a few weeks ago and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and everyone had only good things to say. They have a wide variety of music during the reception as well as cocktail hour and ceremony music. Having Good Noise at our wedding was one of the best decisions we could have made! John and the group were so easy to work with and incredibly accommodating. We had acoustic guitar for our ceremony, a sax/guitar duo for cocktail hour, and then the full band killed it for the reception. So many of our guest continue to comment to us how they never danced so much at a wedding ever. Their unique style of playing the best parts of all the songs you and your guests love makes it so you never want to leave the dance floor. We can't thank them enough for all they did to make our day so awesome. If you choose Good Noise as your wedding band you will not regret it.

Brought the house down
When we had first started planning our wedding the first thing me and my husband agreed on was we wanted a band instead of a DJ. The one thing we were worried about is that some wedding guests prefer dance music over live music, but fear not Good Noise performs some dance songs LIVE and they sound like it could be the actual track. I have been following Good Noise for almost 10 years so deciding to have them at our wedding was the easiest decision we made. All of our guests were raving about how much fun they had and how great the band. They learned songs for us and if there’s a song that you’d prefer the track play they’re able to accommodate that as well. The guitarist Steve played during our ceremony and they also played easy listening music during our cocktail hour which we loved! From the moment the reception started until the very end they brought the house down! Everyone had a blast! I can’t thank Good Noise enough for making our day extra special.

Incredible! Good Noise made our wedding spectacular!
The coordinators at our wedding venue suggested Good Noise and it was truly the best decision I made for our wedding!! Planning with John was incredible. He was very responsive, extremely easy to work with, and so kind. Every one of our guests has commented on how they were the best wedding band they have ever seen/heard. I took a moment to look around and take it all in and every single one of my 200+ guests was on the dance floor. Initially I didn't know what to expect with the medleys, but it was better than I could have ever imagined. We could sing a long to the best part of so many more songs and their transitions were fun and smooth. The band even learned my favorite song and gave me the microphone during it. My husband and I truly had the time of our lives thanks to Good Noise. They even did an encore song for us because we truly just did not want to leave. I knew it in that moment but afterwards going to many of my friends and families weddings- it was so obvious, Good Noise is by far the best. I highly recommend booking them!!!

I have been a fan of Good Noise for years since they would play occasionally at the beach bar I worked at for my summer side job. Throughout the years, my husband and I, along with our friends, would go to their shows at various venues in NJ. No matter where they play, Good Noise never fails to bring the party and allllll of the good vibes… however, their wedding energy is NEXT LEVEL. Having Good Noise as our wedding band was a no brainer for us!!
John… what can I say, this guy is incredible at what he does. Every step of the way he was responsive, organized, enthusiastic, and truly dedicated to making sure he provided exactly what we were looking for. He is also a fantastic MC!!! ALL of the members of Good Noise are incredibly talented musicians and are a group of genuinely great people. The band learned new music for us, absolutely nailed the idea I had for our first dance song, and even helped me surprise my husband with one of his favorite (non-mainstream) songs. Not to mention they kept the dance floor full all night long!!
Good Noise was HANDS DOWN the highlight of our wedding. All of our guests were raving about the band (and continue to do so). Even our photographer had expressed to me that Good Noise was the best band she had ever heard at a wedding (and she has been to a ton of them)!!
As far as wedding bands go, this band is simply unmatched. I absolutely recommend Good Noise to any and all future brides/grooms!!! You will not regret it :)

If you’re thinking of booking The Good Noise for your wedding or event, DO IT!!! They were the highlight of my wedding—our guests can’t stop talking about them. Unbelievably amazing!!
We first saw Good Noise at a family wedding - we weren't even engaged yet and left saying how they were the ideal wedding band! When we starting actually planning our wedding, they were the only band that played exactly what we were looking for AND would be willing to learn new music for our songs. John and the band were so responsive, even to random messages about songs that we'd add to our "must play list". All of our guests shared how fantastic the band was, young and old! Easiest decision - book them now!!!
It's hard to put into words how important Good Noise was to making our wedding the party of our dreams. If you want to be out of breath from singing and dancing with the people of you love the most on your wedding day, Good Noise should be your easiest decision. Note that music was one of the most important factors when planning our wedding, considering it was something myself and my husband bonded over.
To start, we were recommended Good Noise by a family friend. It just so happened that they were playing on a bar in Brooklyn. We had reached out to John (lead singer + band manager) to mention we were going to stop by to hear them before moving forward with anything. Not sure what to expect, we politely introduced ourselves and said we likely only stay for part of their set. Four hours later... we knew we didn't have to look further for the music for our wedding.
John was extremely responsive to all of our wedding questions and had the night's flow down to a science. Another thing to note, the band doesn't take the traditional route and play full songs. Instead they play approx 1:30 of the highlights of each song and play across the genres. Picture a DJ-esque diversity of a set list but the quality + live music hype of an awesome band. When it came to our wedding day, people mainly sat down to quickly eat then returned back onto the dance floor.
To summarize (and emphasize that we weren't the only ones who thought they were fabulous)... after many drinks, a good friend had emailed the band seeking availability for her wedding. Important context is that she is not yet engaged, no wedding planned, just really loved the show and party they put on.
We cannot thank them enough for keeping the party going during the best night of our lives.

Great noise from good noise
We first started watching Good Noise play in 2016. We would go out of our way to watch them play on the weekends. When we got engaged, booking Good Noise for our wedding was one of the first things we did. The band is just as kind and energetic as they were when we first saw them seven years ago. Their unique playing style and wide range of music genres makes for an amazing night. Our guests were on the dance floor all night and were raving about how good the band was. If you’re looking for a band for your wedding, see them play once, and you’ll know there’s no other choice.

Our Wedding 5/20/2023
Hire GOOD NOISE and don’t look back! It’ll be the best decision of your entire wedding planning- I promise! I heard GOOD NOISE at another wedding right after I was engaged and called them from the dance floor to book them…that’s how much fun my fiancé and I were having! From then on, John and his team made everything so easy. As others have mentioned, talking to John feels like you’re talking to an old friend and with that, comes comfort and ease knowing you're in good hands. It poured on our wedding day and I saw John when I first walked into the venue, he just looked at me and said, “Ah that’s nothing. We’re gonna have a blast tonight.” This made me smile when I low key wanted to cry LOL and man oh man he wasn’t kidding! He and his team delivered for my fiancé and I! Our ceremony music was beautiful, our cocktail hour music was awesome (so many compliments on the jazz duo- be sure to ask John about this!) and our dance floor during the reception was PACKED the entire night- young, middle-age, older individuals- EVERYONE was out there singing and dancing. It’s been almost 2-months and I have given their name out to multiple guests for their own events and still hear, “Your band was awesome!” “I would see them in concert!” Being a Jersey girl, I grew up listening to Bruce Springsteen with my dad- they played Born to Run and my dad and I were up there singing with them. It’s a memory I’ll cherish forever….even though there was a verse I forgot…John and Melissa helped me out! LOL My bridesmaids and I are even following their events list and going to see them as a summer celebration down the shore. Not to mention, my fiancé and I will now see them at other friend’s weddings, which is amazing! So as mentioned in the beginning….book GOOD NOISE and don’t look back!

Good noise was the absolute best!
Words can't even describe how amazing Good Noise was for our wedding day. John was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. Every phone call, text, email, he made me feel so relaxed during the entire process and listened to every request we had to make our day amazing. My husband and I did not leave the dance floor the entire night and neither did our guests. Every guest was so happy with their performance and kept asking for their card. I couldn't recommend them more for your wedding day. They read the room when to play the appropriate song. I even saw family members I've never seen on the dance floor having a blast! Every guest including us did not want the night to end and kept requesting them to play longer!! Even our maitre D pulled me aside and said she couldn't believe how many people were dancing, she thought they were incredible I seriously cannot recommend them enough to every single person that asks about them. Wedding guests are still talking about how amazing the band was at our wedding and we truly are so happy with hiring them. We both cannot thank John and the entire band enough for truly making our wedding a day we will never forget. Do yourself a favor and don't even question about hiring them for your wedding. Not only are they amazing musicians who put on an awesome show, they will go above and beyond to make your day special like they have done for me and other family members. Singing with the band? Yep. Good Noise MADE our wedding !
Good Noise -hands down brought the party and made our wedding night !!! Every time I spoke on the phone with John was like talking with an old friend and he took my every concern into consideration. He completely curated our night and listened to my every request. From getting to know us as a couple to make our reception so personal, to learning new songs (their rendition of our first dance was absolutely PERFECT) to even letting me SING with the band (a few times lol) - they didn’t miss a beat. They even replayed a song when my mom requested it again. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and did not want to go home! Wedding Band
My husband has known the Tanzi brother for years, and we've both seen the band play plenty of times. The decision for them to play at our wedding was easy. Even though we had seen them before, we'd never seen them like this. They absolutely crushed it!! They had the whole wedding on the dance floor, singing and dancing the entire night. GOOD NOISE hands down made our wedding!! I cannot express how much we loved John and the band and how their entertainment, energy, and spectacular set list truly was the highlight of the night. We still have friends and family calling us to rave about GOOD NOISE and asking for their contact information to book for upcoming weddings.
My one must have for our wedding was a band, so I did my research and spoke with countless bands in the area. From the moment I connected with John, I knew we found our band. He is a genuine guy and his love for music and entertaining was evident from our first conversation. We quickly found a date to see he and the band perform at a local spot to us and they blew us away! Their seamless transition to each song is incredible and not to mention Melissa's out of this world voice! Throughout the months leading up to the wedding, John would check in to make sure we were feeling good and even spent time to help us pick up songs for first dances/entrances/etc - so helpful!
The dance floor at our wedding was ROCKING the entire night. The fact that GOOD NOISE can perform all different genres and decades of music was such a treat. People of all ages were at our wedding and when I tell you, everyone was dancing, I mean it! The highlight of the night was when the night had ended, but our entire 175 person wedding was chanting "one more song, one more song!" and of course, GOOD NOISE did not disappoint and closed it out with two of my all-time favorite songs.
I cannot thank John and the band enough for truly making our wedding a night we will never forget. I honestly felt like we were rocking out and jamming with old friends :) We just got our wedding photos back and the dance floor pictures are by far the best. The pure joy and fun on everyone's face is all thanks to the entertainment of GOOD NOISE. Do yourself a favor and book them for your wedding!

Hiring GOOD NOISE as the entertainment for our wedding this August was hands down the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. They made our wedding day the absolute best day of our lives! Everything from the ceremony music, to the cocktail hour music, to the MCing and the absolute KNOCK OUT performance at the reception! Good Noise band was hands down one of, if not, the best decisions we made related to our wedding day experience. They were a great pleasure to work with leading up to the big day, and even on our wedding day. Their pricing was favorable and all-inclusive in terms of services provided, which was also refreshing. The atmosphere that they created during our reception was one that all of our guests bring up to us even after the wedding. Several of our guests even inquired about them performing at their wedding shortly after ours. They played a wide variety of music as well which kept all guests regardless of age interested and on the dance floor. Their style of transitioning from song to song in an optimal amount of time is unique and fun. We truly cannot say enough positive things about the band and John. 3 months past our wedding (I know, I’m a procrastinator) and our guests can NOT stop talking about Good Noise. Hands down, without a doubt, the most talented, professional, and FUN band you can ever have. Besides their obvious talent, Good Noise is just a genuinely good group of people. It was so, so nice having them with us on our wedding day, they added to our wedding not just with their absolutely unmatched music but also as guests who we were happy to be around on our big day. John, the band leader and singer, is the easiest person to work with. So kind and considerate and always there to answer your texts or phone calls. He and band actually learned our first dance song and sang it live day of instead of playing the recording. We swear we still talk about how they actually sounded better than the original. Incredible Wedding Band
Truly incredible band - the highlight of our wedding! Our venue highly recommended Good Noise, noting some of their best weddings are the ones Good Noise is playing at...and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! From the moment we talked to John on the phone, we knew we found our band. As background, my dad is a musician, working for bands in the past and had also worked in the wedding industry as a videographer for over 30 years. He has extremely high standards and he knew instantly that John and Good Noise had something special to offer.
We went and saw them play at a local bar in NJ and it solidified we needed to have this talented, energetic group of friends play at our wedding. Each one of the band members is so talented - even the lighting and audio guys! We absolutely loved their energy and they kept the party going all night long. After dinner, they played for three straight hours, NO breaks. They had an amazing set list with so much variety and were so flexible and accommodating. They all learned a new song to play for our first dance, and made adjustments to make it the right amount of time. Truly went above and beyond in making sure we got exactly what we wanted and they sure delivered! Everyone raved and couldn't believe how good the music was and the dance floor was never empty, which was our goal.
When one of my husband's favorite songs was played while he was out of the room, they even circled back to the song, knowing he needed to hear it. It's the little things they did to make our day spectacular. John did an amazing job MC'ing the day, and Steve played acoustic guitar for our ceremony, that was truly magical.
We are now trying to find another excuse to have a party, because we're obsessed with Good Noise and need to party with them again soon. Thank you Good Noise for bringing the energy and making our wedding everything we've ever wanted!

There simply aren't enough words to describe how incredible of a job Good Noise Band did for us to make our wedding such an amazing experience. A great wedding band was near the top of our list of must-haves, and man oh man did they deliver.
During the planning stages leading up to the wedding, we were in fantastic hands with John. We had an open dialogue during the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, and every aspect of the day was covered from the introduction to the last song of the night, and everything in between. John was also very proactive about reaching out to the venue and our other vendors and coordinating with them as well, and they all had nothing but positive feedback regarding their experience of working with John and the rest of the band.
Once we got to the day of, things could not have gone smoother. John is a great emcee, the band is so talented and put on such a great performance, the lighting was on point, and the rest of the crew kept everything moving along smoothly. Months later, our family and friends still talk about how amazing Good Noise Band was and many have gone to see them during their live performances 'down the Shore' or at Just Jakes in Montclair.
If you don't have a band yet, definitely give them a look and go see them live if you can. Once you go see them perform in person: if you don't have a band yet you'll be emailing them the next day to lock them in... and if you already have a band locked in, you'll be cancelling them and switching to Good Noise Band, that's how good their performances are.

Simply the best
If you are looking for THE BEST wedding band out there, look no further than GOOD NOISE. An excellent wedding band was very important to me and I feel like I hit the jackpot. They were so easy to work with from day one and they made our wedding truly spectacular. All of the band members and singers are incredibly talented and they played an excellent variety of songs that everyone could enjoy all night long. I am a performer myself, so there were a lot of singers and dancers in attendance, and they were all BLOWN AWAY by how amazing this band was! I did not have to worry about one thing all night, John had everything under control and was a fantastic MC. If you want your guests to truly dance the night away hire this band! They really brought the ENERGY, so much so, that when dinner came out they actually had to tell everyone to go eat HAHA everyone was having such a blast!!! I can't tell you how many compliments I received on how amazing the band was, and how much FUN everyone had at our wedding! I have had multiple wedding guests ask me for their information, they were just that good! I also want to mention how stress-free and relaxed working with them was throughout the entire process. They made me feel very at ease with how the night was going to go and I always felt 100% confident in their abilities to make our wedding memorable. I honestly have nothing but amazing things to say about GOOD NOISE, and if you want a wedding that people will be talking about long after it's over, hire GOOD NOISE! Best wedding band
Good Noise is the BEST wedding band. We had seen them perform at our local bar years ago and then for our friends wedding and knew we needed them for ours. As soon as we got engaged they were our first call- we selected our wedding date around their availability!! They are THAT good. John was an ease to work with during the whole process and they just made everything so special. Everyone said they have never loved a band as much as they loved them at our wedding. My husband plays music himself and just loved everything about them and how special they made our wedding.

Highlight of the wedding
#1 thing guests said to me and are still saying is "Your band was amazing!" We chose Good Noise because we didn't want a traditional wedding band that plays all the basics you hear at every other wedding. They tailored to our tastes of playing more rock but still pleased the crowd with dance hits. They also came with their own lighting crew which added ambiance to the party! Definitely book Good Noise if you want to have fun at your wedding.

Best decision we made!!!
Good Noise was so easy to work with from start to finish. We postponed our wedding twice and John had no problem helping us find a new date. He not only made the planning process easy, but it was so much fun! We went to see them play a few times leading up to the wedding and it just made us more excited for the big day every time. They take care of everything the day of! From the ceremony, to cocktail hour to then announcing our wedding party and keeping everyone on the dance floor all night at the reception we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our friends and family are still talking about them two months later!!! I highly recommend having Good Noise for your wedding day you will not be disappointed.

Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend Good Noise Band!
I cannot recommend Good Noise Band enough. When we booked our venue back in January 2020, we asked the venue planner who her favorite band is (we figure she's seen them all!)...and she said, hands down, without hesitation...you must hire Good Noise Band. And now I know why! Starting with the planning process, John is the best. It was absolutely seamless and he was always available and so helpful. He even helped us at the last minute to incorporate a family member that unexpectedly could not attend and it was so meaningful.
Good Noise has an energy like no other (they play MANY more songs than the typical wedding band), incredible vocals and instrumentals, and to top if off, they are all really cool people too! We had guests that never dance on the dance floor the whole night. I even have engaged friends that wished they had not booked their wedding band after coming to our wedding (and a few that are heading to Good Noise's next show to check them out!) 5 stars in all categories and truly cannot recommend enough!!

Such an amazing band for our wedding night!
We first saw Good Noise at a friends wedding 3 years ago and I immediately said I want that band at my wedding. From the beginning of the night everyone was on the dance floor and guests are still raving about how amazing the band was and how much fun they were. John was excellent to work with and very professional. I would recommend Good Noise to anyone who wants to have a band that can play any song and will get everyone out on the dance floor!

Stop looking and book Good Noise immediately!!
Where do I even begin with writing this review? Stop looking for wedding bands and book Good Noise immediately. We found out about Good Noise when we were touring venues. A venue we didn’t book with told us to check them out and I’m so glad they did. We went and saw them at a bar in Brooklyn and I contacted John, the MC, the next day. John explained that they were not a typical wedding band - and they aren’t - which makes them all the more amazing. Their transitions between songs are out of this world. So many of our guests, and even our photographer and videographer, came up to us or told us after the wedding that they were phenomenal and they never heard a band like them. We were having so much fun singing and dancing that we even extended by an extra 30 minutes at the end of the night because so many people were still having such a good time. My husband was energetically singing along so much that the band had him come to sing along with them! Several people told us they took the band’s card and one of our friends even contacted them the next day to play at their wedding (in Florida!) but Good Noise was already booked. John was great to plan with, so responsive and fun, and we knew he was going to do an amazing job MC’ing our event. I wish we could have another event just to hire the band again!!! My husband and I could not recommend Good Noise enough. You will not be disappointed.

Do yourself a favor and book Good Noise for your wedding! The dance floor was packed all night with people of all ages. They played such a great variety of music from old classics to the newest hits. Not only are they extremely talented, but they are also the nicest people ever! They were such a pleasure to work with and made the process easy and fun. Easiest Decision
Prior to being engaged and planning a wedding we had seen Good Noise at Jenks and The Seashell. Once we were engaged and started planning we knew immediately that we would be having them play at our wedding. It was the easiest and most seamless part of the whole process. John Anthony is a pleasure to work with and very accommodating to have the band learn our entrance and first dance songs. He also put together our ceremony music and played the sax at cocktail hour along with the acoustic guitarist. We didn’t leave the dance floor all night! My husband had to ask Good Noise for business cards during the reception because everyone kept coming up to him and asking who they were and how we found them. I can’t say enough great things about John Anthony, Andrew, Melissa and the rest of the amazing band and crew members. Book Good Noise, you won’t be disappointed.

The best wedding decision we made!
Simply put, having Good Noise was the best decision we made in all of wedding plannning! We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, and good noise was more than accommodating with rescheduling our new date. We even picked our new date around them, because we knew we had to have them! The day of our wedding, they truly were amazing. They took control of the event with their MC’ing and they had everyone on the dance floor all night (all ages!) Everyone loved their talent, musicality, and the way they play the best parts of each song. They are so fun! Everyone also loved how they jumped around from different song genres so everyone could really enjoy. They can literally play anything! We asked them to learn our first dance song, and they were more than willing to do so, they even were excited, and it sounded amazing! It will be a memory we treasure forever. We also had the guitarist play during our recessional and processional of our ceremony, and he totally rocked it! It gave me chills hearing the music before walking out. We are getting text messages days later still telling us how amazing our band was. If you are looking into having a band at your event, Good Noise is a must!!!

I truly cannot praise these guys enough. In addition to being ridiculously talented, they are so organized, professional, and genuinely wonderful people. There is no way our wedding would have the magical and fun day it was without Good Noise. All we can say is AMAZING. From our first conversation they were so professional and eager to learn about us and the type of music we wanted played at our wedding. Any song that wasn't in their library that we wanted, they learned. Their style is so unique because they can play so many different sounds and recreate songs you would never think a band could play. They also play the best part of every song and then immediately blend it into the next song, playing SO many songs throughout the night. They were so helpful with our timeline, and then adjusting on the fly as things changed day of. We were running a bit late, and they asked us if they could not take a break and play for 2 hours straight at the end of the night! They can do it ALL. They accommodated to every request we had. Guests told us they didn't know who was even at their table because they were dancing all night. They really know how to keep the party going and keep everyone up and having a great time. When we look back on our amazing wedding, the first thing that comes to mind is GOOD NOISE and how memorable they made it. You will not be disappointed.

Our venue (Indian Trail Club) recommended Good Noise and after seeing them at a local bar they were the only band we considered! There isn’t anything they can’t learn or play on your special day. BEYOND accommodating and more importantly, SO FUN to work with. My husband and I brought friends and family to see them play leading up to our wedding in August 2019. We had so much fun at their gigs and they always sought us out to get our opinion and make us feel important. We love how Good Noise transitions so seamlessly and plays the best parts of every song. Our guests were blown away with their ability to play basically anything from Oldies to Rap. My dad even sprung up on John (on the wedding day!) to do a sax solo during our first dance song and he happily obliged and killed it! So sad our wedding is over but still plan on seeing them when they play near our apartment. I’m not sure any review can truly do them justice but we CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!!! Love, Jackie & Jeff

We cannot recommend Good Noise enough! They were absolutely incredible and made our wedding reception the most magical, electric, fun and happy dance party we could have ever hoped for. So many people have told us after our wedding that this is the best wedding band they had ever seen! The band's voices are incredible, the song selections are amazing and they truly want to make sure that the bride and groom have the best night of their life!!! The whole night the dance floor was completely packed and every song that came on the crowd went wild for. John was an amazing MC, did an incredible job with introductions and getting the reception excited about the evening. Melissa's voice is unbelievable and she is a powerhouse. The best wedding band!
Choosing Good Noise as our wedding band was one of the best decisions we made during wedding planning. We spoke with John a few times before making a final decision and he was very helpful in explaining their style and what we could expect. We were able to see Good Noise play live which is what sold us. Their sets are so fluid and their transitions in and out of songs keeps the energy and attention of the crowd up the whole time! At our wedding they kept people on the dance floor the entire night and did not take any breaks except during dinner. They play a very wide range of genres and did a great job reading the crowd. An added bonus was having the guitarist do an acoustic set during cocktail hour, so we didn’t have to worry about hiring a separate musician for that. Everyone raved about our band and people are still talking about how much fun our wedding was, which I definitely give Good Noise credit for! If you want your wedding guests to have a blast at your wedding you have to go with Good Noise!

They made our wedding!
Good Noise band was so incredible at our wedding. They played for the entire time without a single lull and had everyone at our wedding out of their seat, I mean everyone!! Their sound is strong and upbeat and something I have never heard before. They traveled to NH for us and truly made our wedding night so amazing. Our friends and family continue to RAVE and ask about the band. We saw them first at Killington Ski Mountain and will continue to be Good Noise Groupies. John was so responsive, cordial, and open to fun creative ideas, Connecting with him and planning the weekend was very easy. Good Noise killed it. People have been constantly telling us how much fun they had. They made sure to keep the tempo up and people on the dance floor. In the best possible way, our wedding felt like our favorite Jersey Shore bars, playing everything you want to hear and party to. We had a blast and have 0 complaints.
In addition, leading up to the wedding John was extremely responsive and always willing to get on the phone. They were flexible for us and willing to learn multiple specific songs that they currently did not yet know.
We would recommend this band to anyone for their wedding.

It is hard to even put into words how amazing GOOD NOISE was for our wedding. My husband and I had been introduced to them a few years back and immediately knew one day we would have them at our wedding. John Anthony was always quick to respond to any questions I had during the planning process and gave suggestions for songs when I couldn't make up my mind for entrances etc. The wedding reception itself was all that we wanted and more. They are ridiculously talented. Multiple guests and other vendors told me they had never seen a dance floor so packed the ENTIRE time. Guests also said they had never seen a bride have so much fun at her wedding (Thanks guys!). People continue to rave about GOOD NOISE. Couldn't be happier with the energy and performance of GOOD NOISE! They performed at a wedding we were lucky to be guests at and enjoy their magic and the way they had the crowd on their feet the entire night, so we just had to have them play at our wedding and they did not disappoint! My husband was a music major in college, and one of my bridesmaids has a masters in musical theater, and even they were both very impressed! Good Noise surpasses expectations
Months before the wedding you guided us with a keen perception of what we wanted after taking the time to learn about us and our preferences. Multiple guests expressed that you were the best ever asking how we found you. (Which happened in the middle of checking out other bands at various weddings and clubs). When we saw you perform, we all agreed, if you were not booked, our search was over. At the end of our reception, subsequent to hours of non-stop crowded dance floor, the Rumson Country Club’s Riverhouse was still packed with guests to soak up your encore. It seemed like the entire crowd was not only dancing nonstop all night, but also singing along with your tremendous covers. So glad you were available for our big day!

Good Noise absolutely killed it the entire night at our reception! Every guest we spoke to asked the same questions over and over again - “Where did you find this band? They are absolutely amazing!” or “This is by far the best band I’ve ever heard at a wedding!” Working with John to coordinate the entire night and selecting our personalized playlist was an absolute breeze. More than a wedding band!
One month out from our wedding and our guests are still talking about the "best wedding ever!" No doubt that was because of Good Noise. John was very easy to communicate with during the planning process and did a excellent job MC-ing our wedding. We loved the high-energy from the band and they played nonstop and something for everyone. Unfortunately, our dance floor was a little too small but that didn't keep our guests from dancing in between the tables. We just hope we get to attend another wedding they are playing at so we can could see them again!

Goodnoise was the best investment I made for my wedding. They were versatile, easy to work with and they were to best wedding band I ever heard. John and the team worked with me every step of the way and really made my day so special. Even the other vendors were talking about how professional and talented the band was. After the wedding goodnoise is all my guests would talk about. I would choose them for my wedding 100 times out of 100. Everything was perfect! I and every single one of my wedding guests LOVED goodnoise!

Good Noise is the way to go
John Anthony and Good Noise truly understands how to do business and how to make an occasion that much more special . He was in touch with us constantly to make sure our day was what we envisioned. I simply told him do what you guys do , we have total faith . My wife and I had Good Noise for our wedding , the music was seamless with a wide range of variety : from 70s music to Disney songs to Eminem . When we first started putting our wedding together two years prior , my wife wasn’t sure if she wanted a band . We attended a good friend of ours’ wedding and heard this incredible band , which wound up being Good Noise . We both looked at each other and KNEW we had to have them as part of our day . This is no exaggeration: every one of our guests LOVED their music . Some weddings we have attended , we noticed sometimes there wasn’t a lot of people singing or dancing . Each time I’ve been in attendance while Good Noise was performing , many were dancing , singing , and having a great time . Coincidence? I think not . Our officiant , who is a close family friend , and has been in a band for a long time , said to me that Good Noise is the best band he’s ever heard , and it’s extremely difficult to disagree .
Every member of the band are great performers . If you’re looking to have a band perform on the special day for you , or if you see their name playing at a local location : GO SEE THEM . You’ll be blown away.

Best. Wedding. Band. Ever.
My wife and I were looking for something very specific in our band for our wedding. We wanted a band with a vast song catalog, full of energy without trying to hard and an easy to work with group of people.
Good Noise checked every box and far exceeded even our wildest expectations. They are a bunch of down to earth people who can sing anything and everything. Every step of the process from booking to picking first dance songs was seamless.
Thank you to each and everyone of you, made our wedding the best night ever. You have 130 more fans for life.

Good noise is amazing! They absolutely made my wedding! They are the best wedding band I've ever heard and they kept everyone on the dance floor all night. We can't wait for them to play at another venue so we can go and party the night away with them again! Our guests could not stop raving about how much fun they had with good noise!! They had played at our venue previously and our venue loves them also which says a lot!

We love Good Noise! We looked at a lot of bands before deciding for our wedding. Our guests loved them too and can’t say enough good things. We love the unique way they transition from song to song. John was great to work with and responsive. The music selection was perfect for young and older guests and the musicians are excellent. So happy we chose Good Noise!!

Let me start with the bottom line: Good Noise was absolutely incredible!
About a year before our wedding, my wife and I saw one of their shows and were blown away. They were fun, energetic, and awesome musicians/singers that played all kinds of great music. After seeing them for the second time (and loving it again), we approached John after the show and asked if they did weddings. From that point on, they were nothing but great to us. They were honest from the beginning. They were certainly patient enough to answer the hundreds of questions we had for them (even between sets at their show). The more we spoke with the band, the more comfortable we felt. Whether it was in person, through email, texts, or over the phone, the band was always available to answer questions and talk to us.
Once we made the easy decision to go with them, they were extremely accommodating to every request that we had, some of which many bands would have considered irrational or picky. They were nice enough to learn a few songs that were important to us...even beyond the main dances at the wedding. They even took the time to learn about our musical tastes/favorite bands. For a music lover like me, it was these personal touches that separated them from the rest. They actually cared...and it showed.
It's been 3 months since our wedding and our relatives and friends have not stopped raving about Good Noise. They made our wedding what it was. The good energy and overall fun was just non-stop. Everyone danced the whole time and left smiling. And what made it truly great was that the band was genuinely enjoying themselves! That really does make a difference. John was also great on the mic throughout the wedding for the non-music portions. The whole band was very respectful and professional.
Overall, we can't say enough good things about this band, as musicians and people. We highly recommend them! You won't be disappointed! A whole lotta love to Good Noise :)

OH. MY. GOSH. How could I ever put into words how game changing Good Noise is as a wedding band? These guys are SO insanely in sync with one another, so incredibly versatile and their energy is contagious. They can play anything from any decade and they will even learn songs that you ask them to learn. Our wedding was epically fun thanks to Good Noise. As many guests put it, they are like a DJ, but a band, in that they go from song to song so seamlessly and everything just flows. Melissa's vocals are insane and John's energy is unreal. The combination is everything. Throughout the planning process I would incessantly message John to ask questions, voice anything I was nervous about -- he would always write back same day with a super thoughtful, personal response and in an instant I felt better, and heard, and understood. Who is lucky enough to say that they feel UNDERSTOOD by their wedding band? Good Noise is off the charts incredible.

Flowers are important at a wedding. So are the food and photographer. But the band makes the party. And GOOD NOISE made our wedding reception a hit!! There was not one moment ALL NIGHT LONG where the dance floor wasn't packed! First, off, these guys are super talented. I had guests telling me there were moments where they forgot a band was playing and thought it was a DJ. That's how spot on their performance is. John, the band leader, has a real knack for reading a room and knowing what it takes to get everyone on their feet. And then he knows how to keep them there. Their repertoire is equally impressive. It seems there's not a song or genre they can't cover, and if by some chance there's something they don't know, they'll learn it. Super accommodating. GOOD NOISE made our night everything we hoped for -- and more. When it was all over, it STILL wasn't over. Our guests began chanting "ONE MORE SONG!", and John and the guys obliged. I have been to a lot of weddings in my life, but I've NEVER seen a wedding band do an encore!! THAT'S how good these guys are. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. No question.

I cannot recommend this band enough for weddings or any event. Throughout the planning stages John Anthony Tanzi was accessible and willing to work with my (now) wife and I on multiple specific song choices for various parts of the night. The electric mix of songs (from classic rock to TV sitcom theme songs to new hip hop to pop music everyone knows) that this band brings to the table will over deliver no matter the audience. The plethora of instruments they play, including but not limited to bongo drums and a saxophone, coupled with their fantastic attitude makes it possible for this band to create a unique event ever time. The entire band worked with the constantly changing schedule of the wedding and had no reservations about playing more when asked. They were the highlight of the wedding and guests both young and old asked where did we find such a great band?! (2 other couples from our wedding have looked into booking them to play their upcoming weddings). I'm overjoyed that I had this band play my wedding and I'm eager to find events in my life that I can book them for in the future.

Good Noise played my wedding this past November and they were fantastic. Being a musician myself, I can be very critical and quick to judge. They did not disappoint my wife and I in any way. Good Noise is a reliable, professional, and fun option for anyone looking for live entertainment. GOOD NOISE ROCKS!

We hired Good Noise for the after hours of our wedding. John and the rest of the band was amazing we couldn't have been happier. We only booked for 2 hours and wished we booked for longer. Our guests didn't leave the dance floor!! We plan on using them again in the future and highly recommend them !!

My wife and I could not have been more pleased with the job that Good Noise did. They were incredibly professional and just straight out did a wonderful job. They kept people out on the dancefloor the entire reception and had a range of songs covering a little something for everybody. I would recommend this band to everyone and will be hiring them again for our next event. If you are looking for a band that will have all of you wedding guests out on the dance floor, Good Noise should be your band of choice!

Wedding in New Hampshire
Good Noise is made up of 6 outstanding musicians and the light sound guy. I truly have never heard a better dance/club band. They can play any and all types of music from the 60’s to today. They are like a family as they all grew up together and it shows with their collaboration on stage as well as working with them to plan your event. We first saw them at one of their bi-yearly gigs up at killington. Best way to describe them when they asked us for any music request of which we had a couple, of song request, “it really doesn’t matter what they play it’s all good”.

No words to describe how great they are
I hired Goodnoisebandny for my wedding on 10/12/19.
They were on the preferred vendors list from my venue the sea shell. I was nervous to book them without seeing them in person, but John got on the phone with me immediately and we just vibed. He sent me a set list from one of their recent weddings, told me he would hold the date for me if I wanted to see them perform first, and even offered to have my husband and I go to his home to watch them play! With all that being said, we didn’t end up seeing them before hand because he truly made me feel so comfortable.
John is super responsive to text and phone calls and will cater to your crowd and what you need to make your day special. He let my best friend sing my daddy daughter dance !
I have only heard wonderful feedback about Goodnoisebandny and my main goal was to have people on the dance floor all night, which I succeeded at. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a fun dance filled special evening with great people.
