We cannot say enough good things about our decision to hire Zach! When looking for a videographer we were blown away by Zach's reviews, and can now confirm every word is true.
Zach fit seamlessly into our day and captured moments we didn't even know about. He also worked with our other vendors so well, even though they had just met him. Zach also delivered such quality work in a short time.
Every person we have showed the videos to has said the same thing, that is so good especially for something so fast. Its a treasure to have these moments preserved, and also to be able to look at them so soon after our wedding.

Zach truly captured the emotions and love on our wedding
Zach was great and easy to work with and he worked great with our photographer too. every video (sneak peak, trailer, and feature) made us cry as we relived our wedding day. After providing links to the videos as he made them, he sent a usb with all of the footage so we have everything even if it didnt make it into one of the videos.

My husband and I got married on 8.31.25! We booked with Zach a little under a year pre-wedding. He was available when we had questions and made us feel at ease throughout the process.
When our big day came it was actually the first time meeting Zach in person and we were so impressed by his charisma, his professionalism and his ability to shoot the magic moments through chaos.
Having a larger wedding party that included 7 kids ja not always the easiest. After receiving all versions of our video, impressed was an understatement.

We are so glad that Zach was able to capture our weddinv day. We could not be happier with Zach as our wedding videographer! From the very beginning, he went above and beyond- delivering stunning trailers and social media reels right away so we could relive the magic almost instantly. Beyond our expectations!
We could not be happier with our wedding video! From the very beginning, Zach was professional, warm, and incredibly easy to work with. He took the time to understand our vision and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, capturing every emotion without ever feeling intrusive. Heavy on the NEVER being in the way and half the time I did not even realize he was there while the photographer was doing her thing.
On the wedding day, he blended seamlessly into the background while somehow catching all the little moments we might have missed—our parents’ happy tears, the way the light hit during our vows, and all the laughter on the dance floor. The final video is pure magic—beautifully edited, perfectly timed to music, and something we will treasure forever. He also was so communicative on editing and making sure the video was exactly how we wanted it!

Hiring Zack was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding—hands down.
From the start, Zack was professional, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. He asked all the right questions during the planning process to truly understand what was important to us—not just logistically, but emotionally. He took time to learn our style, our priorities, and the vibe we were going for, and he was so flexible and accommodating in bringing it all to life.
On the wedding day, Zack was amazing. He managed to capture every moment while being discreet and respectful—never once distracting us or our guests. He had this calm, low-key presence that made everyone feel comfortable, but still managed to be everywhere at once, capturing every important detail. He worked seamlessly with our planner and photographer (which is no small feat), and was just a kind, collaborative, easygoing presence throughout the day.
And the final video? Absolutely stunning. The quality was top-tier—the visuals, the editing, and especially the audio of our vows and speeches. Everything came through crystal clear and full of emotion. Zack has a real gift for storytelling; the way he wove everything together made us both cry when we watched it. He didn’t just document the day—he told our story.
The turnaround time was also incredibly fast, especially for such high-quality work. We were blown away by how quickly he delivered something so polished and moving.

On the big day, Zach blended seamlessly with my family and friends, capturing every precious moment without being intrusive. Despite not needing anything changed, because he already did an amazing job, Zach was willing to edit the video until we thought it was perfect! He is affordable and great at what he does! Hire him if you haven’t already! Having a videographer is definitely worth it and hiring Zach to do that job will be a great decision!

Zach was amazing from start to finish! He is a "MUST HAVE"! His communication was clear and he was extremely easy to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better videographer if I tried!!!
His work was SO well done, he was INSANELY quick, and super flexible to work with. I was hesitant to even have a videographer and I'm so glad we found Zach and I was able to get an AMAZING video.
My only regret is I feel like I barely said anything to him, But I was running around and he was capturing amazing moments.

Wonderful Experience
Zach was absolutely a dream to work with! He was responsive leading up to the day and made sure we were all on the same page. He made everyone feel comfortable and was so fun to work with. His work product is incredible and we had our first trailer video only 2 days after the wedding! His turnaround for a full feature film was only a few weeks later and he incorporated all of the songs and moments we requested. I can’t recommend working with Zach & Gone Fishin enough!

My fiancee and I were on the fence about even hiring a videographer; if you are reading this review BOOK ZACH PLEASE. Your wedding day goes by so fast, and Zach captured every single perfect moment.
Zach is truly a professional-he was incredibly kind the day of the wedding, got along SO WELL with our photographers who he had never met (literally at one point he had us run through the vineyards and our photographer was like "Wow, I love that"), and just was an amazing person to work with.
His turnaround time on the videos was SO FAST-we received the 1 minute clip literally 10 hours after, and the rest a few days later.
Honestly, if you are on the fence at all, please book Zach, you won't regret it (and will really regret not booking him!)

We hired Zach for our wedding ad were immediately impressed with him. From the beginning he was responsive and clear in communicating with us. On our wedding day he was flexible with changes that had to happen last minute and still managed to capture everything beautifully. Zach works incredibly quick and does not miss a moment. Thank you so much Zach!!! We highly recommend him to be your videographer! Actually, my MOH/Best Friend booked him too after I told her about him and after she saw examples of his work! And now that she's seen my videos, she cannot wait! We love our one minute trailer, highlights video, and our full feature! He captured our favorite moments plus more! So lovely! Loved seeing all our guests having so much fun and the video quality is excellent, super HD, so grateful! The music choices were seriously perfect! We are so lucky to have worked with Zach. Everything turned out so beautiful and we were able to get drone footage! We also got our raws delivered to us! We appreciate that so much! He is so kind and nice and worked so well with our photographer! Wow, and the turn around time is so fast! He's also so open to the changes that we asked for. The videos had me smiling, laughing, and tearing up. I keep rewatching the videos over and over again. Hiring a videographer came as an afterthought to us, but I am so glad we hired Zach. Zach was super responsive during booking and reached out the week before our wedding to make sure we were on the same page for the big day! Day of, Zach was incredibly attentive and captured so much detail. One of my hesitations hiring a videographer was the concern that it would be too invasive...Zach was sneaky while capturing the best shots and was not distracting at all. The trailer, highlight, and full feature video came out absolutely WONDERFUL. We have watched them so many times and loved sharing them with our family and friends. Incredible Videographer
Zach was recommended to us from a friend whose wedding he did. I cannot say enough say enough good things about Zach. We got married in the height of COVID in 2020. Zach was there supporting us the best way he could. He captured the most spectacular moments and aerial view of my grandparents property that we haven’t seen for years. The detail, personalization, communication and ease of Zach lets you enjoy your special day again and again each time you watch your video. We weren’t sure how we would feel with a videographer and if we would be able to “act normal” but you wouldn’t even know Zach was there. Had an amazing experience with Zach at Gone Fishin'! He was always very responsive to my questions ahead of my wedding. I really appreciated the fact he didn't put a specific amount of hours on the day - he said he would show up and leave whenever I wanted, which was a relief to know I wouldn't have to sacrifice footage. He also edited until I was 100% happy - there were no set revision rounds to worry about exceeding, either. Zach was such a great partner throughout the entire experience! He stuck with us through 2 postponements due to the pandemic and didn't flinch with all of the changes we threw his way! He was professional, timely, and responsive and had no problem making edits and little tweaks to the final videos that we requested (although we didn't have many because he did such a good job!). He worked great alongside our photographer to really capture our vision and did such an amazing job with the final product. I would recommend Zach to everyone! From beginning to end, Zach's communication was prompt, his attitude was positive (even throughout my wedding date changes due to COVID), and his work was awesome! I chose Zach because I loved his style and his flexibility. My parents wedding video is so special to me because it's all raw footage and you could see all those special moments that were unprovoked and authentic. Many videographers I spoke with charge an arm and a leg to include raw footage but Zach gets that those moments are yours and doesn't break the bank. He also release a teaser video within 2 days after our wedding, our trailer within a week, and our full video within days of that. This man just gets it!!! Thank you Zach!!

*I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Zach! He was very easy to get in contact with leading up to the wedding, if I had a question or just to let him know wedding day info.
*Day of, he got all the shots I wanted (and I’m not even sure I told him to do all those shots) without feeling like I was being filmed! He used a drone, which was so cool!
*After, he gave me multiple videos. I got a 50 minute of mostly all the footage edited, 6 minute for social media and a one minute trailer! He was able to fix a minor thing I didn’t need in the video and was so great about adding to the songs I wanted to be used.

If you’re looking for a videographer, hire Zach!
Not only is Zach’s work amazing, but he is professional and super responsive. We hired Zach for our 10/20 wedding videographer. Due to covid, our wedding was cancelled and rescheduled to 10/21. Zach was responsive during the whole transition to a new wedding date, and put us at ease during this stressful time. He was willing to work with our timeline and made sure everything we wanted was planned out.
After receiving the video footage, quickly after our big day, Zach worked with us to add the music we wanted. He also had suggestions of his own, that we loved as well. He captured the big moments, small details, and everything in between. The drone footage was a huge hit as well! Zach was super laid back and easy to work with, while providing beautiful video of our day. We highly recommend him!

Zach’s work is exceptional. If you were on the fence about hiring a videographer, after watching your videos from Zach you will wonder why you ever hesitated about having one. We n the day of our wedding Zach spent the entire day with us and was willing to stay as long as needed to capture the day. Zach’s low key nature allows him to capture those special candid moments when you least expect it. We couldn’t be happier with each of our 3 videos, and our family members have not stopped raving about them and many of them cried while watching his masterpiece and reliving the day. The 3 videos we got back from him were far superior to many other videographer's examples that I had looked into, and he was at least half the price! We couldn't recommend him enough. If you're on the fence about a videographer, this is your sign, and Zach is the guy to take care of you from start to finish.

Stop what you’re doing and book now!
So I reached out to Zach about 9 months before our wedding. The booking process was seamless. About 3 weeks before my wedding we got thrown a curveball. I knew my wedding was going to be filmed for an episode of Say Yes to the Dress. However, I had no idea they wanted Zach to shoot the entire thing! I wasn’t sure what his response would be given the short notice. Nonetheless, he just went with the flow. Zach is such a calming presence on such a busy day. I cannot say enough great things about Zach. Do not hesitate to book him. His work is amazing & the drone footage makes the video even better. You can choose any songs that you want to play in the background and he makes sure you are more than happy with the final product. He was very easy going and will meet you anywhere/anytime the day of your wedding when you want him to start filming. The final product was 10000% worth it. Highly Recommended! Best Decision
Hiring Zach was one of the best wedding decisions we made! Capturing memories from our big day meant so much to me, as this is the only part of our wedding that we can hold on to for years! Zach helped me accomplish this goal with incredible video footage of the whole day. He was incredibly responsive, very patient and essentially served as a "fly on the wall" and worked diligently without blocking the view or making any "camera shy" guests uncomfortable. He even used a drone to capture gorgeous footage of our wedding locations! Zach began to share footage within days of our wedding and we were so excited to be able to watch our preview video on our honeymoon! The highlight video, full-length feature and raw footage weren't far behind and each make me cry each time I watch them! I feel so fortunte to have all of these memories to carry with me for years to come. If you are considering if hiring a videographer is worth it - the answer is YES! A wedding day must have!
There are not enough words to express how happy we are with the decision to use Zach to capture our wedding day. I reached out to Zach early in the wedding planning process after a friend recommended him. He was very responsive and easy to work with, even during the COVID postponing process. Even though I had seen Zach’s work prior to our wedding, when we got our videos back, he had exceeded all my expectations. He is so talented and truly did an incredible job capturing some of the best moments of our day—the big and the small. I did my fair share of browsing, and truly there is no other videographer out there who will give you the same amount of content as Zach does, with the same quality and price. We got a 1 minute trailer, 8 minute highlight, and a 50 minute feature all under 2 weeks from our wedding. In addition to that we also got the flash drive of raw footage which was also just as fun to look at. Do not hesitate in booking, it will be one of the best decisions you can make!

The best out there!!!
Can I give 100 stars?! Zach is the best of the best. He is extremely professional, and our wedding video is something we will cherish forever. The video quality is some of the best I have seen for wedding videography. Less than 24 hours after my wedding, the video trailer was already in my inbox! He also asks for your feedback and willing to make any changes you'd like to the videos (not needed because the video was already perfect) including music.
I should add, I had to switch venues/wedding plans about 10 times because of covid, and Zach was the most easy going, go with the flow type personality you want in a wedding vendor. Thank you for that, Zach!

Best Decision We Made!
Hiring Zach to be our wedding videographer was easily the best decision of our wedding planning. He was incredibly professional, non-intrusive, and yet got all of the best footage possible. He is a super nice guy and so very talented at what he does. You can't beat his videographer package and his timelines are unreal. We had videos back within 3 days of our wedding! He stages them out so well so that you get the trailer, then the highlight (WITHIN A WEEK!), then the full feature. Each product was so well done and we will cherish them forever. Don’t look any further!
If there is one thing that several brides have told me it is that they regret not having a videographer at their wedding. I am so glad Zach was recommended to us. Not only did he fit into our budget, he offered the services of someone that charges far more!
Zach was truly amazing at capturing the special moments of our day and putting them seamlessly together in a beautiful video. He came early and stayed until he felt the job was done (which is far later than I thought he would stay)! Zach would set us up his own way to capture the shots we had discussed or capture one that we didn’t even know we wanted or needed. He truly has an amazing eye.
And when my best friend and bridesmaid went into labor, he caught the telephone call from her as well as my FaceTime with her before I went down the aisle.
I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to shed a tear or ten when they get their video from their wedding!

Cinematic Genius
Zach is amazing. I don’t even have words for how great he was and how perfectly he captured out day, He listened to everything we wanted and was nearly invisible all day. When we went to do our first look it started pouring and my husband had to hang out with him in the car for a while and hasn’t stopped talking about how much fun he had hanging out with him. If you’re looking to hire a videographer for your wedding, Zach is your guy! He was extremely professional and easy to work with. He worked with the photographer and captured the best moments of our wedding. He brought his drone and got drone footage as well. I loved watching our video because he captured moments that I didn’t even know happened during our day. He got us a 1-minute highlight preview the day after our wedding, a 6-minute video AND a 46 minute video just days later. Zach was the videographer for our wedding and we are so happy he was! Highly professional, fast to send us our videos (we got our highlight reel the night after the wedding!) And he worked really well with our photographer to get the best shots. We barely knew he was there which is what we wanted since we didnt really have experience being in front of a video camera! Zach was also very flexible with our schedule and locations - he got some footage of me and the bridesmaids then went across town to get footage of the groom and groomsman getting ready before the wedding. Overall we were very happy with his services and will recommend him to anyone!

Incredible footage!!
We booked a photographer first and debated getting a videographer, and I’m so happy we decided to also book Zach! He captured footage from the day that we wouldn’t have gotten with just our photographer. Zach was easy to work with, was very friendly, and was extremely punctual at getting us our video after our big day! He even used a drone to fly over us which was so cool! We love our video and we love our sneak peek he provided ahead of time!! Such a Great Experience
Zach was wonderful to work with. On my wedding day he arrived at all locations on time and got straight to work. He absolutely captured all of our special moments, and yet most of the time I completely forgot he was there. My fiance and I must have watched our trailer 100 times on our honeymoon, we loved it so much. When it came to the long version, we went back and forth a few times and he was extremely responsive, quick and accommodating to make sure every piece we wanted was in there. His drone work was also really cool. Everything was easy/breezy and we are so happy to have these videos to look back on!

My best vendor for my wedding ! Everyone always wants to opt out of a video when the budget is tight. That was me too! I got some last minute advice before my wedding to get a videographer. So I was looking for under $1000, good quality (nothing cheesy) and flexible...I found Zach. He covered it all. The video was artsy , better quality than our wedding photos. We were so happy with our decision to use Zach from Gone Fishin’ Productions back in May of 2018. He got great footage while still managing to somehow remain invisible. I barely even noticed he was filming which was a huge plus for us because we are a pretty camera shy couple. His prices are very fair and he finished our video very quickly. We had a sneak peak the day after our wedding! The video turned out great and almost everyone who watches it cries and tells us how amazing it came out. Zach did the videography for my April 2018 ceremony and reception and my husband and I were completely blown away by his talent and professionalism. He captured all of the important moments and was so easy to work with. I have probably watched our video 100 times, I love it so much! Zach was so great to work with! SO incredibly flexible and refreshingly affordable! Loved that we were involved in the song selection for our videos and that we had our raw moments captured in such a great way.
