Exceptional Entertainment & an Incredible Vibe

Gerry and the team at Golden Note Entertainment were absolutely incredible! Gerry, as our DJ, MC, and overall hype master, brought the perfect mix of energy, professionalism, and warmth to our day. From the moment he arrived, his confidence and calm presence put us at ease—we immediately knew we were in good hands.

He knows exactly how to read a crowd. He got our guests amped up and dancing at the right moments, while seamlessly setting the mood during the more emotional and serious parts of the wedding. Our first dance was truly unforgettable—Gerry coordinated the clouds and snow effect, and all of our guests were completely surprised. It was such a magical moment that we’ll never forget.

Beyond the music, his team covered lighting, special effects, and even social media content, ensuring everything flowed smoothly. Gerry is hilarious, fun, and engaging, yet also genuinely sweet and supportive. His team matched his energy perfectly, and together they created an atmosphere that was unforgettable.

A Wedding to Remember!

Gerry and his team from Golden Note were nothing short of awesome! From the very first phone call, I knew we were in great hands.

Gerry is friendly, professional, creative, personable, detail-oriented, fun, and committed to excellence. He is insightful about bringing to life the details that are important to an individual couple for their special day. He and his office staff are responsive and available…important attributes when planning an event with so many details!

On the wedding preparation worksheet, there is a question that asks for 4 words to describe the couple’s vision for their wedding. We included five: fun, romantic, engaging, memorable, and inspiring. Our wedding achieved each one of those and more!

Our wedding was on Sep 14, 2025 and we are still basking in the glow of how wonderful that day was!
Our pastor officiated an inspiring and beautiful ceremony and Golden Note filled the air with enthusiasm, fun, great music, and had everyone engaged.

And, it was a very fair price for awesome delivery of services! An incredible day that will always make us smile, upon reflection.

From the moment I met Jillian I knew booking GN was the right choice! She was so beyond organized (which I greatly appreciated), incredibly responsive, and always had an answer for any questions we had! She also matched us with the best DJ for our personalities on staff. Jim was absolutely amazing! I have always had trouble describing my favorite music genres and he somehow managed to understand it so perfectly. Many guests praised how well he was able to incorporate various genres, throwbacks, new songs, all while still playing all of our "must plays". We had a packed dance floor all the way up until the last song (he even had some of our older guests up and dancing which we have not seen do in years)! I would book GN and Jim time and time again.

We love gne!

Golden Note made our wedding day one to remember! We had Gerry as our officiant and MC, and Jillian at the Photo Booth with amazing GN assistants.

From the moment I had my consultation with Gerry, I knew that he would be the one to make our day extra special! His charisma and willingness to blend with the vibe that we wanted was exactly what we were searching for. He kept the dance floor packed and the energy high the whole night! We love GNE!

Golden Note’s execution of the planning process was seamless. The tools provided were easy-to-use and helped us construct the perfect music line up and wedding fun. The photobooth was also well done and guests absolutely loved taking the pictures home as favors! Gerry absolutely KILLED it as our DJ and had the dance floor packed all night with our guests of ALL ages! Our guests were raving about the top-quality entertainment services provided to us that day; from the song choices, to the dances, and of course the bouquet/garter tosses, and chair races (for pictures with the Bride and Groom). All in all, Golden Note was truly the icing on the cake that made everything about our wedding sweet, from top to bottom!

Pearson Wedding

Do yourself a favor & book this company for your wedding (or whatever event you have coming up). The whole staff is INCREDIBLE! We had Gerry as our DJ and I can't recommend him enough, he took into consideration our 'must play songs' & read the vibe of the dance floor perfectly. He had everyone dancing & laughing all night long!! I would also love to give a HUGE s/o to Jillian, she's truly a gem! She made the process so easy & she's beyond helpful. She even helped me with non DJ related wedding questions (she actually recommended her wedding florist, who was AMAZING!).

Amazing! Treat you like family!

My husband and I cannot speak highly enough about Golden Note!! Gerry was our ceremony officiant and he and his team were our reception MC/DJs. Throughout the planning process, Gerry took the time to get to know us and answer any questions we had. He and his team have plenty of experience, so he provided us with solid advice and guidance on decisions that we were unsure of. He even worked with us to incorporate our families into our ceremony, as that was something very important to us. By the time we got to the wedding, his officiating and sharing of our story as a couple was the perfect balance of sentimental and lighthearted laughs. Our guests LOVED him - we got so many compliments on how wonderfully the ceremony represented us as a couple and how great Gerry was at presenting it. Many of our guests asked if he was our Uncle or a family friend! During the reception, Gerry and his team did a wonderful job at keeping the party going and changing the vibe at appropriate times such as dinner, toasts, etc. Our guests also loved that balance of good dancing music at a volume that allowed guests to still be able to hear each other and chat at their tables beside the dance floor. 10/10 experience, would absolutely recommended Gerry and the entire Golden Note team for your wedding/event!!

Definitely hire Golden Note!!

I am so thankful we hired Golden Note for our wedding!!!!! We hired Gerry as our officiant, MC, and DJ and couldn’t be more happy with how FUN our wedding was!! Gerry is the kindest man you will ever speak to. He checked in with us multiple times throughout the wedding planning process just to see how we were doing and always offered words of encouragement. As the officiant, Gerry performed a beautiful ceremony keeping things light hearted and paced wonderfully!! He made it personal to us and kept it romantic. As the MC and DJ Gerry killed it!!!!!!!!! We were able to make a must play list of songs that he then ran with! Our guests LOVED it!!!!! The dance floor was crowded the entire night! I’m still sore from dancing too much! We had so many guests come up to us and say “wow I love this guy” and honestly, agreed. Gerry you’re the best!
We also hired golden note for our Photo Booth and Jillian and the team crushed it! They made us a cute scrapbook that our guests could sign as well as made sure we got copies of all the prints.
You will not regret hiring Golden Note. I would book Gerry and the team time and time again if I had to do it all over!

Wedding Day

From the first meeting with Gerry we knew Golden Note was the perfect fit for our day and we couldn’t be more satisfied with our decision. From the ceremony to the music everything was seamless and allowed us to enjoy the day with out any stress. The ceremony could not have been better. Best mc ever

Gerry has been a long-time friend of my husband's family. He has MC'd for Corey's mother's wedding, her vow renewal and countless other parties. When it came time to pick a MC for our wedding, our wedding planner introduced us to a couple options but none of them seemed to be the one. They were nice but we wanted to really connect with the person who would be responsible for making our reception a true party and celebration, so we reached out to Gerry. After our first conversation with him, we knew Gerry was the one for us and it became clear why Corey's family hired him over and over again for their important life events. Gerry understood exactly what our goals were for the whole wedding and the reception and he and his team implemented everything without a single mishap. He was able to create the perfect balance of ceremony and party all while keeping us the main focus of the evening. The Best Night of Our Lives!!

I couldn't rave any more than I already do about Gerry and the entire Golden Note team!! Everyone was so kind and wonderful to work with throughout every step of the process - from meeting Gerry in our inquiry call, to making our payments, getting set up in their portal, going over our timeline, and the day of - every single person we worked with was spectacular! Their energy is incredible, and they are the best at keeping everyone on the dance floor all night - I still have friends comment about how fun our reception was!! I also loved having a portal throughout the planning process so we could add our must play & do not play songs, and every part of our day was there for us to fill in with our desired choices. I highly recommend choosing Golden Note Entertainment for your wedding or event. Gerry and his team at Golden Note made helped make our wedding so incredibly special. My friends and family are still RAVING about the music and the DJ three weeks later!!!!

We had a meeting with Gerry about a year before our wedding to get a feel for if we were the right vibe. We could tell right away that he indeed was! On our initial call, he listened to all of our ideas that we had for our wedding and had such a wonderful conversation with us. I love that he really took the time to listen to us and get to know us right from the start before we'd even agreed to hire his team. We loved his wonderful energy and knew this would be the perfect fit. We were absolutely correct because Gerry is the perfect example of someone who is dedicated to his profession. He would frequently check in with us via email or text to see how things were going which was so thoughtful. He even sent us shirts with the Golden Note Entertainment Logo!!

We loved how easy the portal was to use to plan out our ceremony and reception. Gerry met with us a few weeks before our wedding to make sure that we were all on the same page, he went through all of our song selections with us and made a list of things we still needed to fix or change. His office made sure to follow up frequently and he did as well.

The night of the wedding (what really matters!!), he brought the best energy and a wonderful team to help him out. (Talin & Danielle THANKS GUYS!!) They all worked so hard to ensure our night was so special. My husband and I had choreographed our first dance and our DJ took time to make sure that it was going to go exactly as planned and it did. We are so happy that we picked Golden Note Entertainment as they went above and beyond to make our wedding the best night for us.

A Golden Experience!

I met with several DJs before hiring Golden Note Entertainment. Golden Note stuck out to me because they were so easy to talk to and were 'no frills'. While Golden Note Entertainment offers a wide variety of bells and whistles at a great price, I wanted plain and simple for my wedding. Just some good music and a good personality for my guests and they more than delivered that! They didn't try to upsell me like other DJs or try to put me down by saying I'm a "very basic bride". They were very professional from the minute I spoke with the owner Gerry, all the way until the end my wedding. They sent emails throughout the process just checking in and with fun countdowns to the big day. Jillian, who is the office manager is also AMAZING! She was so helpful in answering questions through the process and helped me navigate and understand the portal to input my wedding details and music. She was also just a really kind person who listened and helped take the stress off of me during the wedding planning process. Jim was our DJ. He was awesome and so much fun! He really took the time to learn about us as a couple and brought so much energy the night of the wedding! We have guests asking us who we had for a DJ because they were so incredible. I can't recommend them enough!

Amazing DJ!!

Choosing the right DJ for your wedding is so important and lucky for us, we made the best choice by going with Golden Note. Gerry is amazing to work with and cares about his clients.

During our first meeting, his energy really caught us as well as his knowledge of Portuguese music since my husband wanted to ensure his Portuguese heritage was incorporated in our wedding celebration.

As we approached the wedding day, Gerry worked closely with us to finalize and understand all of our music selections.

On our wedding day, the dance floor was never empty! We even skipped the formal cake cutting since all of our guests were enjoying the dance floor so much. Four months later and people still talk about how great our DJ was and our friends have even booked Gerry for their 2024 wedding! We highly recommend Golden Note for a memorable night!

An Entertainment Package from a Movie

I cannot begin to sum up how perfect Gerry and Golden Note made our wedding day. From the beautifully delivered ceremony music, to the cocktail hour through the reception, Gerry gave us a night we will never forget. Starting with a custom song switch to surprise my father and high energy keeping our guests (and bride and groom!) on the floor all night, the lights, dancing on the clouds and cold sparkling fountains, we felt like something out of a movie. Thank you so much for not only understanding what we were looking for, but also for knowing what we couldn't even communicate and giving us the most memorable and magical night. The open air Photo Booth had everyone entertained and the photos we will treasure forever. I can't recommend Golden Note enough. Best DJ you. could ask for

Golden Note really helped us have the most amazing wedding. Gerry was amazing. I had multiple people come up to me during the wedding to say they had never seen so many people on the dance floor and that the playlist was on fire. Gerry also went above and beyond. My family is from Egypt and Gerry went out of his way to find and purchased all of my requested Arabic music! I would highly recommend Golden Note for your wedding and if I ever have a big celebration I would 100% use them again!

Consummate Professionals

We used Golden Note Entertainment to DJ our small wedding this fall at the W Hotel in Hoboken. Gerry also served as our officiant. In both roles, Gerry and his team were consummate professionals. We were impressed with his thoroughness and attention to detail in every step of the process. Amazing Vendor

The golden note team was amazing! They were very responsive especially Jillian! Everyone on the team was so nice and helpful and they really appealed to the crowd which is what we wanted! Everyone said our wedding was the BEST Wedding they've been too! they were even very accommodating to make our day the best for us. Unbelievably amazing

Golden Note was absolutely incredible! The owner of the company and our officiant, Gerry, has a process, style, and professionalism that made our event special. He took care, time, and effort to get to know us as a couple and create a service that was perfect for our ceremony. Our guests raved about him and several asked if he was a member of our family because of how natural and engaging he was. Our DJ Jim did a tremendous job, flawlessly coordinating our music just as we planned, providing helpful and invaluable suggestions as we planned our event and invigorated our event with an amazing interactive dance that is truly one of a kind. Gerry and the Golden Note family. Where do I start? They are what you would call a magical experience. The ceremony was hands down one of the best I have personally experienced, we, I, everyone was in awe. The little things, (first kiss photo) the big things, professionalism, humor, class, beauty, and above all just from the heart. I really can’t thank you enough. I reached out to Gerry a few days after to personally thank him. It was an amazing day what I would do to highly recommend them to anyone on the fence

Amazing!

Our best friends got married last year and had the pleasure of having Golden Note DJ their wedding and after that we knew that's who we were going to have DJ for us! Gerry was our DJ as well as our officiant for our wedding and I can't express enough what an amazing job he did as both. They are all so personable and caring and matched our personalities so well! Gerry had everyone laughing the entire time! He made the night absolutely unforgettable! We received so many compliments and positive feedback from our guests before the reception even started! If you need a DJ for your wedding or any event for that matter, Golden Note is hands down the best. Thank you Gerry for making our wedding night absolutely perfect! You killed it!!!!

What a wonderful experience it was working with Golden Note Entertainment. From my first contact with Jillian to our event, the team was personable yet professional, client-oriented and not pushy, reliable and responsive. The website was organized and enabled us to easily communicate our plan. Our event was a bit unusual in that it was an informal post-elopement wedding celebration for our son and his wife, not a formal wedding reception. Bill G., the DJ, was delightfully accommodating, addressing all of our somewhat unusual requests, maintaining the atmosphere that we wanted in both his involvement and the music played. I thank them all for helping us have such a fun party to share our joy with our family and friends.

The best of the best

When they say "welcome to the golden note family," they mean it. From the very first phone call I had with Jillian and Gerry I knew I was talking to my type of people. Throughout the months of planning and many phone calls back-and-forth, I always felt like I was speaking to my friends. They were consistently helpful not only with ideas and coordinating my wedding day seamlessly, but Jillian is a great source of knowledge for all types of wedding vendors - I found my photographer through her recommendation!
After speaking with Gerry, I was immediately at ease, so much so that I gave him free range for my big day and put all of my trust in him, after all he is a pro! He did not disappoint, let me tell you!!!!! He exceeded all of my expectations and had the majority of the guests up and dancing all night long. He helped me pull off my surprise song choice for my ceremony entrance, and then the tables turned and he had a surprise for me himself. My parents had called him, unbeknownst to me, and changed the song for the Father-Daughter dance. I will never forget the words he said when he announced to the room filled with 180 people that mean the world to me that he and my parents were in cahoots. It was the most emotional part of the day for me, and my very favorite, even though I was in tears (yes, full blown ugly crying y'all.) Then it occurred to me that my favorite moments wouldn't have existed had I not given this God of a DJ and entertainer all of my trust. If you're thinking about hiring Golden Note for your big day, this is your sign - don't think twice, DO IT! I cannot thank Gerry and Jillian enough for helping me pull of the wedding of my dreams, nor can I say enough about how truly incredible they are; not just at their craft, but on a personal level as well, this business is run by the best damned people around. I adore them, and I have no doubt that you will too. I'm proud to be a golden gal!

The time of our lives!

Golden Note Entertainment was amazing from day 1! After our initial zoom call with Gerry, we knew he was the one for us. It was a nice bonus that they also offer officiant services, which we did use. Leading up to the wedding they made the process so easy for us through an online portal. It was stress free and ideal for wedding planning!

Jillian is an absolute doll! She is so sweet and responsive. We had a little issue with our marriage license (our town dropped the ball here, NOT Golden Note - they were amazing and helpful). Jillian kept us updated and reassured us that everything was going to be fine. We appreciate her so much!

Gerry is amazing as an officiant and DJ! Our ceremony was absolutely perfect. During our cocktail hour guests were complimenting the ceremony saying how beautiful and fun it was. They were so excited when we told them that Gerry was also our DJ and he would be there with us the rest of the night! Throughout the night Gerry played music for everyone. He had people dancing all night! We received so much positive feedback from our guests and my husband and I had the time of our lives. I would recommend Golden Note Entertainment, specifically Gerry, to anyone!

It was perfect

The entire experience with Gerry and his company was so comforting and helpful, it made the stress of our wedding and reception truly joyous, and almost carefree . Their extensive experience and concern aided us in ensuring that it all was PERFECT! The advice re: decorations, our choice of music with Gerry's tweaking, his MC talent with his DJ assistant, all made it such a fabulous time for us and our guests. As our officiant, Gerry gave our guests a beautiful and emotional view of our love and allowed us to shine, even between our tears. At the reception, we laughed and cried and danced all night as did our guests to music we ALL loved. Gerry made us feel like family. Our guests have not stopped complementing us on the ceremony and the fabulous music and dancing they all did all night! How it was all SO RIGHT

Amazing Vendor

Gerry and the team at golden note are amazing. We hired them for everything from dj, lighting, entertainment to officiant. We could not ask for a better team. Jillian was easy to plan with and gave us great advice from the beginning. Gerry was an awesome officiant and mc, he was funny and really cared about how everything was going. A few days after the wedding we received all the photos from the photo booth as well as all the zap photos, this was a great surprise while we wait for the photos from the photographer.

Book Golden Note!

We booked Golden Note for our photo booth and our guests had a BLAST. Bri and Jillian were amazing attendants for the photo booth, encouraged everyone to get in and take tons of photos, and put together a book of all of the strips of photos. I also loved getting the digital copies of all of the photos (for the photos that guests didn't like enough to book in the book... usually the most hilarious ones!). Definitely book Golden Note!

Amazing people

Golden Note Entertainment was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the start talking with Jillian on the phone to plan our event was easy breezy and REAL. Jillian was honest and easy to talk to. She broke down everything very simply and easy to understand. She paired us up with our MC Jim who was seriously the BEST. There aren't words enough...

There aren't words enough to truly praise Golden Note Entertainment enough. From our first meeting with Golden Note, it was explained to us that we wouldn't be clients of a company, we would be friends. This could not have been truer... in addition to the amazing work Golden Note displayed at our wedding, the entire process felt so smooth and free of chaos. Gerry and his crew were responsive to every question we had and made sure we understood the entire process. They gave us the best advice on how to run our evening in a seamless manner. From our original signing of the contract, to a date change, to getting married in the midst of the pandemic resurge, Golden Note continuously came through, above and beyond, time after time. The day of our wedding, the dance floor was filled the entire time. They are masters in the craft of reading a crowd and it made for the best night; more than we could have ever hoped for. Since our wedding, we are still receiving compliments on our DJ's for the evening. We cannot thank them enough. Best DJ Ever!

Gerry was very knowledgeable and helpful during the planning process and went out of his way to make sure my daughter's wedding was the best ever. Dave was out DJ for the ceremony and reception at Perona Farms. And Gerry came in to DJ the afterparty. It could not have been better. They delivered everything my daughter and new son in law wanted for their wedding. The dance floor was always full and fun!

Wedding DJ

We're so happy with everything golden note provided! Jim was a great MC and had the crowd dancing all night! He played songs we had requested in addition to "feeling the crowed" for a good song! I'm so happy with the way it all turned out and the guests (all ages) were dancing (which was my main goal). We cannot say enough great things about the MC (Jim) and the company!!!!

Superb Quality Entertainment Services

We hired Golden Note Entertainment for our wedding on April 23rd for both our ceremony and reception. From our first interactions with Jillian, we knew that Golden Note was the right company for us! Jillian was very professional and had our best interest in mind, not sales! She made recommendations on waiting to add extras until we had a better understanding of what our “dance floor” would look like due to the pandemic. That conversation (and genuine care) stood out in our minds and was the sole reason that we decided to go with Golden Note. Let me tell you – they did not disappoint! Their online portal was easy to navigate and allowed us the time to thoroughly think through our song choices. During the meeting with our MC (Juan), we could see he did his research beforehand and familiarized himself with our music choices and form. This confirmed going into our wedding day, that we did indeed make the right choice putting our wedding in their care. Come the wedding day, Juan and Gerry were an amazing duo! They brought the excitement and energy we wanted and had the “social gathering spot” partying the whole night! They were not only able to handle our crazy requests of blending two very different songs seamlessly for our first dance, but also our very eclectic taste in music. Our guests still can’t stop talking about how great our music was! We highly recommend this company for your next event! Amazing Experience!

Patrick was AMAZING!!

Patrick was our MC for my Christmas wedding and he was AMAZING. He was energetic, funny, and the perfect fit for my wedding. He made sure the dance floor was always full and hoppin! Amazing Experience!

Okay, so I had a REALLY hard time trying to pick a DJ as I had a specific idea in my head of what I wanted. My husband and I have a very mixed taste in music and we wanted what we love incorporated into our day. In comes Golden Note and Patrick.

I was at a bridal show when I saw Golden Note perform and Patrick was there. I left that bridal show, knowing that he was who I wanted for my wedding. This company was absolutely fantastic! They were on top of EVERYTHING throughout the entire process. We met with Patrick a few weeks before the wedding to kind of go over our final lists for music and in the time we spent with him, he 100% understood our style and what we wanted. He called to check in with me on Wednesday, just seeing if there was anything we needed and how we were feeling.

To put it simply: Patrick absolutely KILLED it for our wedding!!! He had the dance floor PACKED and people dancing all. Night. Long. He was reading the crowd the entire night and just kept the party going the ENTIRE time. He would throw our requests in at the BEST times (including my ridiculous MUST HAVE request to play a specific song from Disney's "A Goofy Movie" haha!). He was fun, relaxed, and overall amazing. I could NOT recommend Patrick, and Golden Note, more! If you are thinking about using Golden Note, do it. And make sure you book Patrick!!!! You will NOT regret it :)

Great Team, Amazing Service

Wow! From start to finish we got nothing but great service. Jillian is amazing and so easy to talk to. We had to make a few phone calls to each other and it honestly felt like I was on a phone with a close friend! She was great at answering all our questions. Gerry was amazing at our wedding! We did a beer ceremony and our guests loved it. They honestly thought Gerry was a close friend and that we knew him for years because the ceremony was so personal. Danced the Night Away

Golden Note was excellent from start to finish! At our first meeting with Jillian we knew that Golden Note would DJ our wedding! Like family! So much fun!

Love this company! We were sold from the beginning by Gerry, who knew exactly what kind of party we wanted our wedding to be. We then met our MC Patrick and he became part of the family! He was amazing in the planning process, very thorough, and made sure he knew what kind of music we loved. On the day of, he was awesome! Our cake cutting pictures are that much better because of his hilarious commentary! He read the crowd and played music people wanted to hear. Very well done. So much fun, everyone had a great time and there were always people dancing! We can't wait to book Patrick again! Thank you so much!

Wedding Review

Our entire experience with The Golden Note was outstanding. TGN spent many hours, weeks before the event, helping us first consider “the feel” we wanted for the wedding of our daughter and her fiancé. This was critical, since everything flowed from that. The online planning forms kept us organized, and the timelines were extraordinarily helpful. These guided us to music to be played, and how to handle introductions. We did not use a wedding planner. Gerry and his team, on the wedding day, had everything, worked well with the caterers, and set up so when we arrived at the reception, the set-up was perfect. The musician at the piano during the cocktail reception was engaging. The room for the dinner was set up expertly as well. That room itself was large with high ceilings and a very regal look about it (the event was held at the United States Military Academy), and Gerry’s team anticipated how best to use the space. He even thought about up-lighting, which we never even discussed, and that was excellent intuition on his part. We used several fun “gaming” tables, and this was an excellent choice, and enabled guests who momentarily stepped off the dance floor to mingle from their dining tables with others from other dining tables. Guests from all ages participated in these. The dance floor was “hopping” and, again all ages were on the floor. The pace of the entertainment was excellent, and TGN used different music sets to gather our guests into a community—just a joyous feel. The Golden Note staff were professional, patient about the military security obligations for West Point, guest-friendly, and helped make a memorable evening. Even the few prizes Jerry gave out to different dancers caused much laughter and cheers. Even the photographer remarked about how terrific this wedding was. Cannot say enough about The Golden Note! Well done.

Great Vendor!

Our wedding day wouldn’t have been half as amazing as it was without Golden Note Entertainment. I first saw their presentation at a bridal show about 7 months before my wedding and immediately knew they were the ones. I made an appointment with Jillian who felt like a friend I had known my whole life the second I started speaking with her. I requested Jim who she reserved for our date immediately and a week later we went over basics of the event and signed the contract. A few weeks before the wedding my fiancé and I met with Jim to go over our requests and our must not plays and the details of the actual day, he was beyond helpful, he had so many suggestions and completely understood and improved on the vibe we were going for. They were great at communication, emails were answered almost immediately and when I changed one of the processional songs a few hours before the ceremony it didn’t even phase them.

The reception was exactly the (unfrilly 😉) party we had hoped for. Our guests packed the dance floor from the minute we finished our first dance and never sat down. Jim had a fantastic knack for knowing exactly what to play at exactly the right time to keep the party going. The mix of tempo, decade and style of music kept everyone happy and dancing and we were all sad to see it end!

I was a little bit hesitant about how everyone would take interactive glow in the dark gloves and black lights but it went over so much better than I could ever imagine! It really added another level to our reception that people were not expecting and loved.

We also had the social photo booth and prop kit which was a huge hit. Our guests loved taking silly pictures and we loved getting to see them all the next day in the photo album Golden Note gave to us.

Amazing Company

Golden Note Entertainment is the place to go if you want an easy, professional, and fun process. I saw this company at a bridal show and knew immediately they were the ones. Jill was great throughout the process of booking, and throughout the entire process of planning. She helped point out things that I didn't even think of, and my coordinator didn't tell me about. Bill, the emcee, was fun and professional at the same time. At the wedding, he took charge during times when my maitre'd was missing, and helped us out. He also had just the right amount of humor throughout the night. He had everyone laughing, and made sure they were out on the dance floor. The dance floor was packed the entire night and everyone has been telling me how amazing the emcee and dj were. I can't say enough about this amazing company and I am so glad I'm part of the Golden Note family now!

If you want to get the party started (and keep it going), Golden Note is the DJ company for you! We first heard Gerry and his team at my sister in law‘s wedding, and we knew we needed to have them for our own! Unfortunately, Gerry was not able to be our MC when it was time to book. At first we were disappointed, but once we met with Bill Delaney, we could NOT have asked for a better MC!!! We received so many compliments from our guests about his upbeat personality! We loved his wealth of music knowledge (and fellow love for Bruuuuce).

Our DJ spinner was Patrick Boyle- and man, does he know how to read a crowd and get everyone up out of their seats! Prior to the wedding, we used their electronic portal to add our “must-play” songs and Patrick created the perfect mix of music around that list—call him the human Spotify!

Amazing! No Regrets!

I found Golden Note Entertainment at a busy Wedding Expo where Jillian stood for over 20 minutes talking to me about what I wanted. Before I walked away she left me with advice to not get ripped off by other entertainment companies. That is the basis of Golden Note Entertainment. They are honest, fair, professional, fun, and are the ideal company to book for your wedding or event. GNE was AMAZING at our wedding! Having Gerry and his team at Golden Note take care of the ceremony and reception music at our wedding was a no-brainer. We had seen them do our friend's wedding a few years back, and knew we had to look into hiring them. The levels of energy, enthusiasm, and care they gave to our big day was evident. We have received (and continue to get) so many compliments about the music selection, MC skills, and entertainment overall for the day. Gerry also officiated our ceremony and he did a wonderful job incorporating what we wanted like our vows and readings. Him and our DJ George did a great job in reading the crowd and playing fantastic tunes while keeping in mind our overall vibe and sound + requests we wanted, so everything was our style but even better! We have been using Golden Note for years for our year end basketball banquet. Gerry and his crew keep the party fun and exciting for the adults and the children. Our banquet size is about 200 guests with a 50/50 split of adults and kids. Gerry and company play music and keep the kids engaged with games and prizes. Everyone has a great time. We will continue to use Golden Note for all of our events!

Golden Note was the DJ Company we chose for our daughter's Sweet 16. Mario was the DJ and he was assisted by Gerry, Jr. The did an absolute phenomenal job. Everyone, adults and kids, were dancing the entire night. They were interactive with the guests and made sure to honor all of my daughters requests. The time we spent ahead of time with Mario insured he got a true understanding of the type of party she wanted!

Golden Note has been doing events for my company for some time and always provided great service, so I had no issue booking them for a summer event I was throwing. It was fantastic! Gerry and his team are absolutely outstanding!! They traveled all the way from New Jersey to Long Island to do my wedding! From start to finish he was nothing short of amazing and the whole planning process was seamless. He knew exactly what needed to be done, and how to make our wedding day the "party of the year." He helped us select all the right songs for the cake cutting, boquet toss, etc and even customized our entrance by putting two songs together. Our guests NEVERRRRR left the dance floor! The staff at the venue were amazed at the constant party that was happening in our room. They even made comments about how they've never had a DJ work so seamlessly with them (this was his first time at this particular venu).

Gerry also recommended we hire Crystal, who was literally the most amazing percussionist i have ever seen. She seriously was such a ball of energy, and had that party jamming till the moment it ended. I highhlyyy recommend her for any event!

Through this whole process, dealing with vendors can be very stressful and time consuming. The one thing me and my now husband had said to each other COUNTLESS TIMES was .. "at least we know we don't have to worry about Gerry and his team." Golden note was our saving grace! We always could breathe easy after a worrisome phone call or meeting with another vendor because what we viewed as the most important part of our wedding (the entertainment) was a piece of cake! And we felt 1000% trust with that in Gerrys hands.

Thank you Golden Note! Cant wait to see you in December at my friends wedding! (Which she by the way, called to book him as soon as our wedding was over. She knew she had to have Gerry!)

We used Gerry and his team for our wedding in July 2017. Gerry is a dream to work with and we would highly, highly, highly recommend him. From the moment we spoke with Gerry on the phone, we knew that he would be perfect for our wedding. Gerry is very energetic and funny and there was no doubt that he would make our reception so much fun! Of all the wedding planning activities we did, working with Gerry and picking out songs for our wedding were by far the most enjoyable...he is very organized and offered great suggestions for song choices, listened to our needs about what we did/did not want to hear, and help us really envision our day. Our wedding was so much fun and the music was fantastic. We had a unique mix of guests (mostly people aged 60+ with a few younger people mixed in) and Gerry’s music fit the crowd perfectly. Everyone danced the whole time (even those who hate to dance!) and we received so many comments from our friends and family that the music was great. Thank you Gerry (and team)!!!!

He did the music for our ceremony and our reception. We communicated with Jillian to book the event who was always a delight to speak with and very helpful. We filled out a form ~1 month prior to the ceremony and then did a skype interview with him since we live out of time. He came on time and was professional. Despite it being 90 degrees + he smiled the whole time. He had great ideas and suggestions for the ceremony music and played all of our requests. Just wait until he shows you his interactive crowd surprise! Everyone loved it!!! Definitely recommend Golden Note and DJ JIM!

Thank you Golden Nite for a great wedding and a perfect night! Golden Note provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They also did uplighting for the reception. Gerry and Bill were both great. Gerry sat down with us prior to the event and reviewed all details and made us feel comfortable from day one. They worked with our photographer to get a shot of the whole dance floor and kept the music flowing all night. Many of our guests stayed on the dance floor all night and were impressed with how great our night flowed. I would definitely recommend them and use them for future events.

Gerry and Bill were awesome! I originally met Gerry at a wedding expo, where he was demonstrating his DJ services. He had a crowd of strangers up and dancing, and was the type of person you immediately get good vibes from when you talk to him. That awesomeness remained all the way through our wedding reception, where he and Bill played a mix of our favorites and other popular songs, and even mixed in Christmas music to fit with our theme! They even covered our ceremony at a different location, and it was beautiful. We had originally planned on just playing music from a laptop hooked up to a sound system, but we had found some extra money in our budget, and I am SO glad we did.

SO SO SO HAPPY ! We loved Golden note. They Provided our DJ services, lights, photo booth and video. It was a one stop shop for us and we were so thankful for them !
Bill was our MC and Mario was our DJ, they did a PHENOMENAL job. There was never a dull moment and the dancing never stopped which is exactly what we wanted. I hardly wanted to get off the dance floor for dinner , that is how much fun we were having! Many people mentioned the volume of the music stating that golden note did an amazing job, the volume was PERFECT not too loud that you couldn't have conversation but just loud enough for dancing. Also, the variety of music played couldn't have been better they covered all eras and kept everyone happy.
Everyone loved the photo booth the picture quality was amazing ! It would be perfect for any event.
I would recommend Golden Note Entertainment for any event you may be having, they do amazing work are very professional , easy to work with and very accommodating. We didn't have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding they had it all under control !

Without over exaggerating I feel they are the best. They were super professional and didn't talk down any of their competition. Gerry was REV. at our ceremony, and made it exactly what wanted, needed and asked for. Jim was our DJ and understood our taste in music and knew what music to play to make all guess happy. Stop looking! This company, specifically DJ/emcee Bill Delaney, made our wedding amazing. When you have your initial consultation Gerry (boss, DJ, Emcee, officiant) picks one of his talented DJ's to match with the type of music you like. The guests loved the music so much that they continually asked if they could get business cards from the DJ. They truly were so professional that this bride had nothing to worry about the day of. I can't say enough great things about them. As for price they were completely comparable to other companies and so completely worth every penny.

I can not say enough wonderful things about everyone at GNE, Jillian helped me each step of the way and Gerry is just amazing. Gerry was the MC at both my sisters weddings over the last 10 years and I knew I couldn't have a wedding with him and his team. We first heard of Golden Note because like 5 years ago I attended a wedding of my friend Joe from work. I had been to a lot of weddings recently because me and all my friends were mid/late twenties and everyone was getting married.. Well Joe's wedding was the best wedding hands down of any that I'd been to, because the DJ was so good, everyone got up and was dancing.. Usually only about, 75% of the people will dance, and the rest stay seated, but somehow Joe's DJ got everybody up.

Fast forward 5 years, and it was my turn to get married. Of course the first thing I did was ask Joe who his DJ was. He said Golden Note, and then it clicked in my head because I also recalled seeing Golden Note on our venue's list of recommended vendors. Anyway, I called them up and they were very friendly. They even offered me a discount, and their prices seemed very reasonable. I scheduled a meeting with my fiancee and I to go in and meet them. They are a very responsible company... One of the things they do is ask to have the names and contact info of all your other vendors. The reason they do this is because it's been known to happen that your big day arrives and one of your contractors doesn't show up, so if that happens, Golden Note will try to call them or can even act as an emergency backup officiant. The person I was dealing with at Golden Note was Gerry Siracusa, who is the owner & CEO. He really has a gift for public speaking and has a great voice for it too, so when I found out that he was also a licensed marriage officiant, I was excited to hire him for both the DJ/MC and the Officiant.

Well our big day came finally, and everything was perfect. He coordinated perfectly with the venue's Matre D and the result was the best night of my life. All our guests had a fantastic time.. I got many comments about how great a job he did as the officiant and the MC. He brought an assistant to handle the DJ/music mixing, and they brought their own speakers and sound system.

Golden Note Entertainment is truly the best company to work with. From the second I stepped into the office I felt at ease with their staff and professionalism. I was worried before choosing a DJ because I needed an MC that was bilingual but they assured me that their bilingual MC was awesome. John was the MC at my wedding on June 27th and he was amazing! WORDS CANNOT EXPLAIN HOW AMAZING GOLDEN NOTE IS! My husband and I used Golden Note Entertainment for our entertainment and music at our wedding reception five months ago and it was the best decision we made. Having experienced Gerry from Golden Note Entertainment in action at my sister and brother-in-laws wedding eight years ago, my husband and I knew that when it was time for us to say "I do", we NEEDED to hire Golden Note. Upon our first meeting with Gerry, we knew we were in good hands. We felt so comfortable and stress-free immediately. Because my husband and I are both music enthusiasts, Gerry suggested we use Billy for our emcee. Our personalities clicked with Billy's right away. We sat and talked about music selections like we were chatting with an old friend. At our reception, Billy played the PERFECT songs at the PERFECT time. My guests had a blast and were on the dance floor from start to finish. We had so many of our guests tell us that ours was the best wedding they had ever been to. GNE was incredible. Golden note and Gerry have been the entertainment for the wedding of a few of my family members before we were married. We had a decision to make, should we book GNE knowing just how great of a job they do every time and how fun every single one of those weddings were? Or do we venture out and try someone new? There wasn't one single doubt in our minds that GNE had to be the entertainment for our wedding. If you meet with Gerry just one time, you will already feel like he's part of your family. He's one of the few vendors that we booked that we had absolutely no worries about what they were going to be like on the day of our wedding. At every wedding we've been at with GNE, including ours, the dance floor was PACKED the entire reception. They really get everyone up and having a great time. We got married in June and we are still receiving compliments on how much fun our wedding was and what a great mix of music that everyone young and old could dance to. I can honestly and truly say from having multiple experiences with GNE that if you book them for your wedding you will have the time of your life and will not have one ounce of disappointment. The only regret I had was rushing around at the end of our wedding and I never got to say "thank you" or give Gerry a hug!

Everyone we worked with at Golden Note were fun, knowledgeable and professional. Gerry the owner is so easy to talk to and laugh with. Mario was our MC and he was amazing. My husband and I have very different tastes in music and he took notes of all the different genres and even specific artists and songs and made our wedding memorable! He played requested songs so all the guests were happy and there wasn't a period where the dance floor was empty. I couldn't be happier with the event!

Golden Note was excellent from start to finish. They were so professional and well organized. I wouldn't have thought of half the things that they did as far as engaging our guest and giving away our centerpieces. Mario was our MC and John our DJ. They did a phenomenal job. The worked hard to assure everything was perfect and everyone had a good time! Mario, John, and the Golden Note team helped keep everything so organized. The dance floor was full all night long. The music was such a perfect mix to accommodate everyones likes both english and spanish. Mario also assisted in created a video of my husband and I throughout the years and you can tell the time and detail that he put into it. I highly highly recommend anyone from Golden Note for their event but I have to especially recommend Mario and John. They were so helpful and full of great ideas. Thank you so much to the Golden note team!
