There truly are not enough words to express my gratitude and awe towards Lillian & her team. From our first call & checking out her previous work, I knew she would be incredible for the job and boy did she exceed any high expectations I might have previously had. She was on time, extremely effective in wrangling everyone together & keeping their attention (and always with a bit of humor which EVERYONE really appreciated), kept it fun and natural, and even led some breathing exercises which.. I didnt realize how much I actually needed and appreciated being the anxiety ridden bean that I was on that day. Lillian made me and everyone involved incredibly comfortable - almost like shes just always been there in your life as your friend and not just a photographer. We even have on video one of the flower girls having a melt down right before walking down the aisle and Lillian calming her down gently enough to where the flower girl was then able to continue down the aisle. As for the photos themselves.. her work speaks for itself - stunningly beautiful and everything we ever hoped to have captured on the most important day of our lives. THANK YOU LILLIAN! You are a GEM of a human who possesses incredible talents and we are so fortunate to have found you!!! -

So special!
Lillian photographed our wedding in Vermont, and we are SO glad she did! She truly captured the atmosphere and energy of the wedding; she got lots of amazing candids, incorporated our outdoor venue in the photos beautifully. The photos felt very “us” in style and feel. She got creative with some of the film photos with really colorful, unique shots and double exposures. On top of that, she was so kind and fun to work with. Overall, we felt like we had a really special, personal relationship with Lillian because of the care and time she took to get to know us and highlight what we cherish. -

Gold Wing Photography couldn't have done a better job capturing all of the love and joy at our wedding from what truly was the best day. Lillian's amazing associate photographers, Danielle and Damini, shot our wedding and Lillian edited our final gallery with the signature Gold Wing look. Besides all of the classic wedding day posed photos, I love the candid and zoomed in shots that show all the special details and little moments. Thank you so much to Lillian and her entire team for this incredible gallery, we are so excited to print some to hang in our home! I can already tell it's going to be difficult to select favorites, there are so many wonderful moments to choose from. We also worked with Gold Wing for our engagement photos and we just loved both galleries. -

We worked with Lillian for our wedding and she is truly a gem as a human and as an artist. From the first time seeing her work online, to meeting via zoom, to our wedding day, she was nothing but joyful, professional, calming, and just overall lovely. We wanted a photographer that would capture pure, real, and intimate moments, and that’s exactly what we got. The feeling we get looking at pictures from that day evokes real emotions and the biggest smiles. She made the entire day so easy, calmed our nerves and made us feel safe and warm. The way she sees and captures real life makes her work amazing, and I would recommend Lillian over and over again. Lillian was incredible to work with and captured our special day perfectly! We are thrilled with how our photos turned out.
From the moment that we met Lillian, she made us feel extremely comfortable. She asked us questions that allowed us to get to know each other, and she knew exactly what we wanted going into the wedding weekend. Lillian's work is top notch, and speaks for itself.
She did a really great job of capturing our personalities on film. That was something that was really important to us, and a huge reason why we chose her. Looking back at the photos, I am flooded with memories and feelings from that day. Our photos came out so unique, special, and personal to us.
Lillian has an infectious personality as well. She is very sweet and will blend in during the right moments, but is also not afraid to be direct and tell people exactly where to go in order for her to get the best shot. We had a massive wedding party of 40+ people, so this was no small feat.
We couldn't be happier with our choice, and strongly recommend that if anyone is in the same boat as we were a year ago, you go with Lillian and her team. You won't be dissapointed! -

The best candid wedding photos!!
We could not be happier with our wedding album from Lillian!! Each time we look through the photos, we feel like we are reliving our wedding day. Lillian and her team made the wedding prep process so easy, and she executed our vision flawlessly.
Lillian was able to capture so many little moments that I would have forgotten about with her. The gallery is full of so many candids (our favorites), plenty of little detail photos, and great wedding portraits.

I don't even know where to begin... I could not have dreamt of a wedding album so wonderful, intimate, raw, and passionate as the one that Lillian so perfectly curated for us. My husband and I spent last night reliving every moment of our wedding through these photographs, and I am truly speechless. I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life.
Lillian captured absolutely everyone so organically and intimately. It is one of my favorite things about her photography: she manages to capture the microscopic moments that no one else sees.

Meet your wedding day BFF
My husband and I worked with Lillian for our engagement and wedding photos. Working with Lillian is seamless. Not only is she incredibly flexible, eager to answer questions, and responsive to concerns, she had solutions to problems we hadn't even thought of. I'm always awkward in photos, but with Lillian's direction, she put me at ease with her open and friendly nature. She was like the BFF I didn't know I needed on my wedding day! Because she also has an incredible eye for lighting and framing, we didn't need to spend hours with her to get the perfect shot. We have dozens to choose from and never felt like we were spending too much time away from our guests. If you want dreamy, romantic photos for your wedding day, Lillian is the photographer for you! -

Beautiful photos and a wonderful photographer!
I don’t know how I can do justice to Lillian’s hard work and incredible talent in one short review, but I’ll try. We hired Lillian as a wedding photographer for our September 2022 wedding. Working with her during the planning process, she was always so organized and responsive, I always felt like we were in good hands. And we absolutely loved working with her on the day of the wedding. She had the best energy and it felt like she was so excited to get all the best shots of us. She gave great direction while still allowing us to pose naturally. Our families and wedding parties all commented on how lovely Lillian is and how good she was at giving direction. She was so considerate and thoughtful, and always asked permission before touching someone or coming into their personal space to alter a pose or demonstrate where they should stand. She ensured we were always on schedule throughout the entire day, and never forgot to get a shot I had asked for.
And the photos. THE PHOTOS. They are so, so beautiful. We all look incredible. The venue looks just as gorgeous as it did in person. Everyone in these pictures looks like they are absolutely glowing with happiness and joy. I’m so grateful to Lillian and to her second shooter whose name I have since forgotten because I am the worst with names (sorry!). The two of them helped us to have an incredible day, and now we have the most wonderful photos to remember our wedding day. Thank you so much. -

TL;DR Hire Lillian as your wedding photographer. She is kind, communicative, hard working, versatile, and most importantly is extremely talented and gifted at what she does.
From the start , Lillian was very easy to work with. She was kind and compassionate, as well as very communicative with regards to everything she offered as a photographer. Just from looking at her previous work we knew we wanted her as our photographer, but talking to her (even just over email) truly sealed the deal because we knew we were talking to someone who really cared about capturing an authentic, intimate, and candid depiction of a very important day. This energy shone through on the actual wedding day, and that can be told through the countless remarks we received from guests raving about how warm and wonderful Lillian was. On the day of the wedding, things were running behind and I was extremely stressed out because a major chunk of photo time was eaten into. When I arrived at the venue, I had about 20 minutes until the ceremony. In those 20 minutes, Lillian took me to take photos alone. It was the first time I had met her in person and I was a total stress ball, but within even two minutes of being alone with her I felt a sense of serenity and ease that is hard to achieve at any time for me, let alone running 40 minutes late in front of a camera on my wedding day. I went into my ceremony at peace and returned to the excitement and joy of the day and that is largely in part due to Lillian’s incredible natural ability as a human being and a photographer to provide a comfortable environment.
Now onto the photos themselves. Wow. Lillian is an extraordinary talent behind the camera. Our wedding was in NYC, which is not her typical shooting environment. However, you wouldn’t be able to tell that from the photos. They are absolutely beautiful, capturing the city/us/our friends/family/celebration in a warm, intimate, cozy, and authentic way. The emotions of the day shone through so clearly, and that is due to her ability to capture purely candid moments in the perfect way. This is exactly what we were looking for when it came to photography for our wedding. Not to mention that we now get to look back at intimate and emotional moments we might not have gotten to see or be a part of on the day itself. Despite running behind, she was able to organize a wild group of people and capture every moment we were hoping to, and she even stayed late to photograph some later moments simply because she believed it was important. Everyone who has seen the photos have been enamored and everyone we know getting married have asked for her information.
We highly recommend Goldwing Photography, as Lillian exceeded all expectations and gave us the most beautiful photos to look back on as we grow old together. Thank you so, so much Lillian! -

We met Lillian the night before our wedding day - we last minute asked if she could join us at the rehearsal dinner for some photos of the more intimate group. We clicked instantly! She is so great with large groups and handled the night and day of perfectly. Her incredible talent aside she was an amazing person to be around and she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We would highly recommend Lillian over and over again. It all goes by so fast, but because of Lillians unique talent we can relive the day and will cherish the memories she captured forever. -

Lillian is everything you want in a wedding photographer. Certainly, her photos came out wonderfully- they're beautifully taken and edited, diverse in style, backgrounds, subjects, and she captured all moments of the day! Authentic photography at VT Wedding
Over the moon with Lillian!! We originally chose her because of her authentic, beautiful style and the candid moments she seemed to catch with each photograph. We quickly learned that she was also organized and professional, which made our planning and event run incredibly smoothly.
The day of wedding Lillian and her assistant were energetic and such a pleasure to be around! They captured every moment including getting ready, first look, specific wedding party/family photos, the ceremony, cocktail hour, speeches, dances, our epic dance party, and so much more. We especially appreciated that they made a conscious effort to pull my husband and I away to capture some special moments together through the wedding.
When we received our photos, we were in awe of how stunning they came out. We were ecstatic with how many candids were taken (our absolute favorites), how they captured the small intimate details (ex: flower arrangements/place settings), and that she was able to make each feel like a piece artwork.

We could not have picked a better photographer for our wedding day! We LOVED working with Lillian & Gold Wing Photography. Lillian captured the day so perfectly and our photos turned out amazing. Everyone that see's them oo's and ah's over them and loves the light, bright nature of her photography.
The photos captured not only our personalities but also portrayed what we wanted the day to "be" so perfectly. What may have been the most special thing about the photos was seeing all the moments with our guests that we were not a part of that Lillian was able to capture - the dancing, the smiles, new friendships being made - the little moments. Gold Wing Photography is fantastic at capturing REAL moments.
Lillian was so kind, welcoming, organized, and helpful throughout the entire process. People kept coming up to me at the wedding to tell me they loved the photographers and what a great job they were doing. I cannot recommend Gold Wing Photography enough! From the start, we knew that Photography was going to be one of the most important pieces of our wedding day, and we are so glad we decided to work with Lillian. She was absolutely incredible! She was SO helpful from start to finish - from the prep work and helping me get clarity on how the day would go, to the final moments of the night rushing to get final group shots amidst a packed dance floor. She was also particularly helpful with the curveball that was the weather. Our wedding day was surprisingly cold, and a little rainy, and she did a great job helping us pivot to ensure we were still able to get the photos we wanted - it clearly showed her considerable expertise. Lillian did such an incredible job directing the whole photography process (and coordinating with the videographer, too!) - she got groups together, directed poses, made it super clear where we needed to be, where she'd be, and what we needed to do. Every member of the wedding party was impressed - and to top it all off, the photos we've seen so far are stunning. We are so happy to have worked with Lillian and would highly recommend. -

Could not be happier!
My husband and I had a wonderful experience working with Lillian of Gold Wing Photography. Lillian truly is the entire package! Not only is she incredibly talented, she is professional and an excellent communicator. From our first email through final delivery of our wedding album; updates were always timely and polished.

Lillian's Photos are Art
Lillian and I overlapped in high school, so when she founded Gold Wing Photography, I started following her on Facebook as way to support a local artist. I am so glad I did, because she quickly became one of my favorite Vermont photographers. When I proposed to my wife, Ellie, in 2018, Lillian was the first person I contacted about photographing the moment (even before I knew exactly what the moment would look like). Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Lillian/Gold Wing Photography two more times over the past couple of years: elopement ceremony two days later, and then again this past year, Ellie and I had a more formal wedding celebration with friends and family, and we hired Lillian as our photographer again.
THE PROPOSAL:
I reach out to Lillian in January and told her I was hoping to propose at the end of February. We set up a time at a Cafe and make plans. After making some initial plans Lillian remained flexible and easy to work with. My initial plans for a proposal were foiled when we had back-to-back 60 degrees days which melted my ice-rink. The day of I called Lillian and we decided to wait for another day. The following Saturday, I took a walk with Ellie around the Trail around Middlebury. Lillian followed from a distance posing as another walker. I proposed to Ellie at Sunset and Lillian took some beautiful photos.
THE ELOPEMENT:
When I proposed to Ellie, I asked her “will you marry me on Monday,” and so two days after the proposal Lillian joined us in Middlebury again. Because it was an informal ceremony, we didn’t have a precise schedule for the day, but Lillian did a great job of going with the flow, and taking pictures of us both getting ready, the two of us in a the chapel, and then the small celebration after.
THE WEDDING:
When Ellie and I eloped, we weren’t sure if we would have a traditional wedding ceremony, however a year later, we gathered our family and friends together to celebrate with us. We had such great time working with Lillian, and we loved her photos from our engagement and elopement so much, that we decided we wanted Gold Wing Photography back to document our traditional wedding celebration as well. And of course, she was amazing again. Lillian took all the specific photos we asked for, and did a wonderful job of unobtrusively documenting our wedding (they were so stealthy, at one point I remember looking around to see if they were still there...they were).
I love how Lillian captures light, color, and movement. She doesn’t rely on cliche poses and props to document her subjects. She captures moments with her own beautiful and unique artistic vision. Each photograph is a work of art. We’ve gotten so many compliments on all our photos. -

Lillian did an awesome job photographing our wedding! The pictures are brilliant and totally exceeded our expectations. It was really easy to relax around Lillian and all the pictures turned out natural - because they were! I was really clear that I wanted the amount of staging and posing to be really minimal, and she pulled it off seemlessly. I was so grateful for her efficiency with my family and friends. She caught so many little moments I didn’t even notice during the hustle and bustle of the day. When I look at the pictures now it feels like reliving the day all over again, I will cherish these photos forever. I’ve always thought I wasn’t photogenic but turns out I can be ;)
Lillian was also really accommodating and understanding and helped us to find a package that worked for our budget. I highly recommend Gold Wing Photography!
