I had the most wonderful experience working with Golf Leaf planning my dream wedding in Aspen! Chelsea and Kate were both extremely professional, kind, thorough and thought of every beautiful detail to make our wedding so special. They are both very friendly and fun to work with. The day went off seamlessly thanks to their thoughtfulness and professionalism. I wish we could plan our magical wedding all over with them again!

Gold leaf planned our wedding in Aspen, CO in September of 2017. We really could not have asked for a better experience. We worked with Kate and Rebecca who were both extremely responsive and diligent in their work. It was obvious that they really cared about us and wanted to deliver the best experience possible. As expected, it was the best day of our lives. Really no detail could have been improved, which is testament to the preparation and attentiveness of the Gold Leaf team. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Chelsea and Kate with Gold Leaf Event planning are INCREDIBLE! My wife and I utilized their planning services for a mountaintop wedding in Aspen, CO. Their warm hearts, love of life and ability to understand our vision for our day AND turn it all into the most amazing wedding is tremendous. While we did a lot of wedding DIY, Kate and Chelsea graciously accepted our art projects and decor and utilized them in a way that truly reflected our relationship and love for each other. I couldn't recommend these ladies enough and it was such a relief to know that through the entire planning process and on the day of our wedding we had them to ensure everything went according to plan. Thank you ladies for helping us to create a day that honored our love and commitment to each other AND was by far the BEST WEDDING EVER!

Kate and Chelsea are awesome to work with. They did a great job helping us create the wedding we wanted. They helped with all the vendors and had good recommendations for everything along the way. They also made sure we didn't forget about anything we needed to do leading up to and on the big day. We had a morning ceremony so our day was about 18 hours long (or more) and they were there the whole time to make sure everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend them.

Gold Leaf Event was outstanding! The only thing we had to stress about was the list, everything else was taken care of! The week of my wedding was so relaxing and care free. I would use them over and over again! I have three other sisters and my parents have already said that if they get married, we will use Gold Leaf again!

The wedding was a beautiful affair that was complicated with weather. IT's not supposed to snow in September! But Gold Leaf was flexible and pulled it together. Every one has told me they have never experienced a wedding like ours and they loved it!

Cannot say enough about the women at Gold Leaf, especially our lead planner, Chelsea. Our wedding day was truly unbelievable, and we owe it completely to Chelsea and the others at Gold Leaf for creating our vision into reality. Every single recommendation Chelsea made, every vendor, every important detail she did under the radar so that I didn't have to worry, was perfection. From the band, to the tent, to the caterer, to the decor and flowers, to the unbelievably talented videographer she insisted I have (even though I was refusing for awhile and now don't know what I would do without)...I could go on for days. The girls were prompt, they were professional, they were respectful, and it was very evident that our wedding was truly important to them as well. Everything an OCD, organizationally obsessed bride could hope for. Chelsea worked wonderfully not only with me, but with my entire family and my husband's family in creating this dream event. I absolutely LOVEEEEEEDD working with Chelsea & Kate at Gold Leaf & would happily recommend them to anyone who is looking to have a beautiful, flawless, stress-free wedding! They literally took care of everything from day 1 & made my job as the bride SOO much easier throughout the entire process!! Most importantly, they made sure each & every tiny detail was executed PERFECTLY on the day of. Thanks to Gold Leaf, my wedding day was more beautiful & more fun than I ever could have imagined!! I think I was probably the most relaxed bride ever & got to have the time of my life with our family & guests, without a care in the world - all thanks to knowing these ladies had my back. :) My wedding was truly extraordinary!! I wish i could re-live it over and over again, but since I can't - I will DEFINITELY be calling GL for any and all of our future events!

Chelsea, Kate, and the whole team at Gold Leaf are just exceptional!! They were so helpful in getting us set up with some incredible vendors and walking us through the entire process. Having someone in Aspen to give us tips and suggestions was so valuable. The day-of was flawless and someone was always on hand to help out with whatever we needed. The GLP ladies are all super sweet and were willing to meet with us as much as possible just to make me feel at ease about the day...I'm a major perfectionist and serial planner so a little reassurance was perfect for me.

Working with the lovely ladies of Gold Leaf Event and Design was a dream. Kate and Chelsea created a weekend that was everything we could have wanted and more. Their timeliness and professionalism was first class. The amount of creativity and resourcefulness gave us total ease throughout the whole planning process. The final product of their hardwork speaks for itself. Not only are my husband and I completely pleased and blown away with everything, our friends and family have not stopped raving about it!

Kate and her team made my wedding day a breeze. We were married on the top of Aspen mountain and the coordination was impeccable and honestly exceeded all my expectations! Prior to the wedding they worked with me, my mother and all our vendors to make sure everything was just the way we wanted it to be. I couldn't recommend them highly enough to really convey my gratitude and absolute happiness with how our wedding planning and the day of the event were handled. If you want to not worry about your event... pick Goldleaf!!

My husband and I are proud Texans who decided to have a destination wedding in the beautiful state of Colorado. We knew there was no way we'd be able to plan our perfect wedding by ourselves, considering we'd be planning everything from a different state! We began to ask around the Aspen area who the best planner in Colorado was, and every single person told us we'd be crazy not to use Gold Leaf Event Design and Production! Boy were they right! These girls were more than prepared before we even had our first conversation. Our situation was unique in that we did plan from afar, but Gold Leaf did an incredible job at communicating in every form - From texts, to phone calls, to Pinterest boards, to Instagram! During our engagement I was finishing up school at Texas A&M, beginning my Student Teaching, moving to a new town, graduating, and planning a wedding. In other words, I had A LOT going on. However, at no point during this time did I feel stressed from the wedding, and that's because I was working with Gold Leaf Event. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and overall quality of service was more than incredible. Not to mention, they're as sweet and as cute as can be! Thanks to these girls, our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect!

I’ll start by saying that one of my favorite parts of wedding planning was the wedding itself - it was beautiful beyond my wildest dreams - but a close second was working the past six months with Kate.
I got engaged in January ‘14 and immediately began looking for a wedding planner in Aspen! Gold Leaf came highly recommended by several vendors, so I scheduled a meeting with Kate and Chelsea. We met at the Little Nell and I immediately fell in love with both of them. I felt as if I was describing my dream wedding to two of my very best friends.
My family and I expected a lot(as most brides do) for our wedding weekend (4 events total!), which included a country-themed Welcome BBQ in a barn and a tented wedding at the Roaring Fork Club. Kate exceeded our expectations tenfold. We couldn’t have been more impressed by her responsiveness, attitude and ability to not only keep up with our constant requests, but also her ability to execute above and beyond our every vision.
While I had a vision for each of the events, Kate took my ideas to another level. She pays attention to both the details and the overall ambiance of events, truly making it an extraordinary guest experience. One of my favorite memories was walking into each venue, and having to catch my breath because of how beautiful the presentation was-literally.
Our guests raved and continue to rave about how creative, well thought-out and beautifully designed our wedding weekend was. While I love taking the compliments, I owe them all to Kate.
After the wedding was over, I told her that I was going to miss seeing her daily emails(true story)…and I do! She is SO sweet, thoughtful and sensitive to a bride, which is something to consider when choosing a wedding planner. Ultimately, I gained a long-time friend, who I absolutely adore. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a perfect wedding, and sometimes more importantly, to those brides who want that perfect wedding planning process.

Kate, in only the spectacular way she works, coordinated and hosted an amazing "surprise" engagement party for a friend of mine while a large group of us were visiting Aspen. She worked within our specified budget, (although you would have never have guessed there was a budget the way this party turned out), handled each and every request we had, and even added her own personal touch.
Kate was accessible, super sweet and you would be hard-pressed to find someone as helpful! Thanks to Kate for such a great event!

Working with Chelsea was absolutely fantastic! There are so many decisions that go into a wedding and she and Gold Leaf Event helped make all of these so manageable. Every single vendor that she recommended was incredible-- the officiant was phenomenal, the rooms were beautifully decorated, the food was ridiculous delicious. The day itself went off without a hitch and everyone-- including my father and some family members who only dance once every fifteen years-- danced the night away.

Gold Leaf did an incredible job planning a multi-day wedding for me and my wife out in Aspen, and the event went perfectly. Every detail was taken care of by Chelsea and her staff, allowing me to enjoy the event and socialize with all of my guests instead of worrying about everything staying on schedule.

The event consisted of:

#1. Rehearsal dinner with custom flowers, printed menus, stationary, place settings, interior design and decoration

#2. Dessert party with the above

#3. Wedding at the top of a mountain with tricky logistical concerns, as well as contingency plans (which fortunately we didn't have to use)

#4. Cocktail hour, wedding reception, and send off.

#5 Brunch the following morning.

She brought in countless top-tier vendors at lower than expected cost in literally every dimension (paper goods, flowers, cake, drinks, music, design) was always there to offer amazing ideas and suggestions. I really enjoyed working with her on our event.

Seriously, there is no better choice than Gold Leaf for your event!

Chelsea made my dream wedding a reality. I can not say enough about her professionalism, experience, and punctuality. When planning a wedding it is easy to get caught up in the pretty ribbons or this dress vs. that dress but Chelsea helped me stick to a timeline and on the day of she took care of the rest. Kate planned a surprise engagement party for my daughter. Even though she had a very short notice the party was perfectly organized, personal, and so much fun! They incredibly professional, organized and on the ball with everything leading up to the big day to make sure things went smoothly.

Moreover, it was obvious to me and my wife that they are extremely well-connected in the Aspen event planning scene, which is important when it comes to things like getting DJ or photographer recommendations.

I highly recommend Kate and Chelsea and we will definitely work with them for any party-related planning needs we have in CO in the future.

When it comes to party planning, I have no experience or talent in the area. I worked with Kate to plan this engagement party for my sister. I could not have been happier with the results! She came up with such outstanding ideas for the event from start to finish. She was able to put a creative touch on every aspect of the party which really personalized it for my sister and her new fiancé. Everyone had such a great time at the event, I was so happy with Kate for making it so special!

Our company retained Kate to design and implement a 1970"s theme party for clients, vendors and friends. It was for approximately 300 people and included entertainment, theme decorations, casual food stations and cocktails. Our guests were encouraged to dress in 70"s attire. We gave Kate a budget which she honored. Guests were able to take photos with 70"s themed VW bus which Kate had painted and stickered with flower power theme scenes. Food stations worked out well since attendees arrived at various times throughout the night. The band was engaging and encouraged guests to get up and dance. The tents, lighting and ambiance was very good.

I absolutely loved working with Kate on my wedding in Aspen. She went above and beyond to make sure it was an amazing event. And it truly turned out perfectly. She kept me on top of important dates and deadlines and made sure everything was organized. It was a complicated venue (at the top of Aspen Mountain – The Sundeck) and what could have been difficult for guests and us ended up being flawless. The best part is we didn’t lift a finger or stress about a single detail the whole event so we were actually able to enjoy it! Our families and friends still rave about it. When we learned that our DJ wasn’t quite what we had hoped for just two weeks before the event, Kate recommended a DJ who she knew well and got us a great deal. The new DJ turned out to be a huge hit and we’ve already been asked for his contact information by several friends! She knew what we wanted and he ended up being perfect for it. Kate was also just an absolute pleasure to work with. She is kind and caring and friendly and we really enjoyed her! She’s also hip and stylish and knows what works well together and has great recommendations and great taste.

I got married in Aspen, Colorado at the Roaring Fork Club on September 21, 2013. My husbdand and I live in Dallas so I knew I would need to have an excellent wedding planner to help me to execute my vision. Given that I work in interior design, my standards can be pretty high and I'll admit that sometimes I'm hard to please! Chelsea VanVleet Dillon and her staff delivered! Everything was truly perfect and my concept was translated beautifully. They are extremely organized, timely and always available. They have great resources and ideas and were calm and collected the entire time which is FANTASTIC. I would highly recommend Chelsea Dillon and Gold Leaf Events to anyone looking for someone to help them with any event whether it's the wedding you always imagined, a birthday party or a baby shower. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing! We hired Gold Leaf for month of wedding planning and I cannot even begin to explain how much weight it took off of my shoulders. As a bit of a control freak, I insisted on doing invitations, save the dates, booking the venues and vendors, and picking the menu. However, when it came down to making a timeline, organizing the rehearsal, and all of the countless other details I had yet to check off on my to-do list, Chelsea stepped in for month-of and was AMAZING. I was able to send her all of our contracts and give her all of our paper goods (name cards, table numbers, etc.) and she organized everything and worked with our vendors to make our day absolutely flawless. Did I mention that it rained (ahem, POURED) on our wedding day...and we had an outdoor wedding? Yeah, that happened. Oh, but wait, Chelsea was ready with options and worked with our venue to not only make it possible for us to still have our wedding outside on top of Aspen mountain, but to also make it look SO DARN CUTE for pictures (by giving our guests white umbrellas and fleece blankets). If you think you can plan a wedding all by yourself without missing any details (or pulling out your hair), think again. Hiring a wedding planner, at least for partial planning, is definitely worth saving yourself the stress and insuring a perfect best day ever. Also, Chelsea is amazing at what she does so let her take the reins, sit back, and relax while she does her thing.

Kate and Chelsea made my day so stress free and I'm not what you would typically call a laid back person who gives up control of things. They had the difficult task of turning a hotel lobby into a beautiifly modern, private, elegant reception room and they did it flawlessly.
I was truly able to relax on my wedding day which is priceless if you ask me.

It was a pleasure working with Kate and Chelsea from Goldleaf. My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of state and on a relatively short timeframe, but they kept us on task and took care of some of the more tedious jobs like negotiating prices with vendors, walking vendors through the site, etc. The event turned out great and I was most impressed with the team's skill in making sure I worried about little to nothing on the day of our wedding (despite bad weather, a no-show shuttle, and a last-minute wrench thrown at us from our venue). I was able to relax and focus on getting married and spending time with loved ones, which is exactly what I'd hoped for. The team is young, energetic, and they know the industry and Aspen area well.

I'd like to be up front and say that my intent is not to disparage Gold Leaf, but instead to offer brides-to-be candid feedback about my experience with them, so that they can avoid the stress Gold Leaf caused me. Everybody makes mistakes and any one of these things on their own would have been fine, but together they are, in my opinion, unacceptable. I was planing my wedding in Aspen from Boston, which required that Kate and I work over the phone and have occasional calls ( 1 or 2 per month). Kate missed two out of the five calls we had scheduled. (One time she had been sick & slept through her alarm (it was noon her time). Another time, she didn't realize that I lived on the East Coast & was on EST, which indicated to me that she hadn't taken any time to get to know me, her client, in particular where I lived. Before I hired Gold Leaf, I had reached out to some vendors for quotes. Once I hired Gold Leaf, they reached out to the same vendors. In two instances, the quotes I received were cheaper than the ones Gold Leaf got from the same vendors. Make what you will of that. There were frequently errors in the contracts & paperwork Gold Leaf sent me, including the wrong date for my wedding. When I first began working with Gold Leaf, I told them that my mother was deceased. When it came time to get a contract for make up, I told Kate that we weren't interested in make up services for my mother in law. When I got the contract for make up, there were services slated for me, my mother in law and mother (um?). What's more, it often took Kate more than 24 hours to get back to me by email. We had an issue with the first band we hired. They required a stage to perform on and our venue was not big enough to accommodate a stage. While we were trying to figure out the band situation, Kate fired the band without consulting me (to be fair, I had asked if we could get out of the contract and get our deposit back, but I had been clear that I wasn't ready to fire them yet).
