Well preserved

Sunny, the owner, is attentive, qualified, knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Leave plenty of time to complete work desired. Great work takes time…not hurried. My wedding dress of 50 years is now soundly professionally and beautifully preserved.
I live in Colo Sp and am willing to drive the 45 min to be the recipient and beneficiary of Sunny’s heartfelt work.

A wonderful experience

I couldn’t be happier with the work Sunny did on my wedding dress. She made a bustle, which I’m sure was no small task as there are so many layers! She took her time and communicated her ideas and plans. She fitted the shoulder straps perfectly and the dress fits perfectly. The dressing room was amazing and room for all my ladies. I will certainly be back for my dress cleaning and any other alterations I made need in the future.

Wedding Dress Cleaning

I dropped off my red wedding dress (many layers, handmade dress, after an outdoor wedding) to Sunny and she worked wonders on it! It looks even more beautiful than the day I got it, and she does outstanding work!! She is very lovely and pleasant to work with, and I recommend her and her business to anyone who needs a cherished outfit cleaned or restored :)

Wedding restoration and preservation

She took a 30-year-old dress that had never been cleaned that still had stains on it and made it look brand new. My daughter wore it 30 years later and it looked brand new. I would not go to anywhere else in Colorado. Sunny is great and it was worth every penny

Emergency bridal alterations

The week of my daughter’s wedding she tried on her gown and the fit was all wrong. Sunny got us in and had the alterations done the same day. The dress looked perfect and now we are ready for the wedding! Crisis averted!

Great service for wedding gown!

I had 2 weddings because of COVID and was able to wear my dress both times! Gold label cleaners was able to clean my dress between the weddings and made it look like new! Very affordable for the service on such a precious item. Highly recommend

Easy and very professional

I took my dress to be preserve my wedding dress. Sunny took the time to go over everything that needed to be done to fix my dress. Took about 3.5 months to get my dress back and it looks great.

Impressive wedding dress repair

Seriously amazing! I had a 10-year old red wine stain down the front of my custom wedding gown that Gold Label made brand new. The stain not only covered the white lace but a silk ribbon. Gold Label did absolute magic and I am so impressed and astonished!

Sunny is responsive and so talented!

My mom and I decided to contact Sunny in May for my July wedding. Normally, we would have begun the alterations process much earlier, but due to the pandemic, we delayed until we knew we would go forward with the wedding, which ended up being in the middle of May (only 2.5 months out from the wedding). Despite the short notice, Sunny was more than willing to work with me. Sunny gave me a wonderful first impression, and I could tell she truly cared about my vision for how my dress would fit and that the final product would be perfect. My dress ended up needing a lot of alterations, including loosening the waist, tightening the neckline and bodice, and creating an intricate bustle. Sunny was easily able to fine tune these details and even get me in for an extra fitting the week prior to my wedding. She is extremely flexible, sweet, and responsive, and she is an exceptional seamstress. I would highly recommend Sunny, and I am so grateful I found her for my dress alterations!

Wedding Dresses with Lace & Beading

This place is amazing. I ended up taking my dress to a different cleaner, the day I went to pick up the dress I was told they could not clean it due to the tag saying dry clean only with petroleum solvent. I spent hours calling other dry cleaners asking if they used petroleum solvent, most places said no or their quotes were extremely high. I took it to another place and they told me petroleum solvent was outlawed in Colorado. When I finally got to Gold Label I made an appointment to get a quote. I took it in and talked to Sunny. She was extremely knowledgeable and said she has never heard of petroleum solvent being outlawed and that was the best way to dry clean my dress due to the lace and beading. The pricing was very reasonable and cheaper than all of the other places I recieved quotes from. I had an extremely tight turn around and needed the dress to be cleaned in 7 days to make it to my alterations appointment. Sunny was able to get it turned around in time and it looked amazing. I highly recommend.

Amazing Seamstress!

I got married a year ago, and had the idea to shorten my wedding dress to wear again. I called the bridal studio I purchased the dress from, and they recommended Sunny to me. I was very leery in my decision to shorten such a beautiful dress, but once I started consulting with Sunny, she made me so excited! She encouraged me to do it, and she genuinely seemed excited and honored to be part of the creation! We talked about different ways to alter the dress, and ultimately decided together to take the length up.
After leaving my dress with her to clean and make the initial cut, I got really nervous. A mixture of possible regret and the “What if she messes it up!” thoughts haunted me. But when I came back to try it on, Sunny calmed all my nerves. She told me she had been thinking about all the other things she could do with the remaining dress (I had a long train), but in no way pressured me into another sale. She just kept saying, “In the future you could do this, or this…” It was so much fun and made me feel like I was wedding dress shopping all over again!
Sunny is so professional and a master at her craft. She takes her time and really cares about the final product. I had a total of four [quick] appointments to ensure everything was right. The finished dress was absolutely perfect, and my husband LOVED the surprise on our 1st wedding anniversary! I HIGHLY recommend going to Gold Label cleaners for any of your dry cleaning needs, and especially going to Sunny for any alterations. I completely trust her and her magic, and will only use her moving forward!

Sunny is AMAZING!!! I'm so glad that I picked Gold Label Cleaners to do my alterations for my wedding dress! I bought my dress off the rack and it was a little tired looking...Sunny cleaned it and it looks brand new now!!! I went in today for a second fitting and the alterations were perfect! For the first time the dress fit me like a glove and I got teary eyed standing in the mirror today! I absolutely LOVE my dress now it really feels like mine! Also, Sunny could have made a lot of money off me hemming my dress because in my first pair of shoes, the dress was just slightly too long, but instead she recommended that I get a slightly higher shoe so that we could avoid hemming the dress and saved me a boat load of money!!! I bought my wedding dress off the floor of a bridal shop. The style had been discontinued and it was the last one they had. The seams were torn, there were stains in the dress along the train, and some details I wish could be changed. Sunny at Gold Label Cleaners turned a mess of a dress into a gorgeous gown. The dress was handwashed silk and needed extra love. Sunny made the dress seem like new by getting all of the stains out, fixing the seams and the few details I wished to be changed. The dress turned out absolutely beautiful and I am so thankful that Sunny made it possible!

My experience with Sunny was fantastic. I decided that for my reception I wanted to wear my mom's wedding dress. The only problem with that was my mom was 2 sizes smaller than me when she got married! Sunny worked what I thought was the impossible with such ease and confidence I knew that my precious heirloom was in good hands. She worked with me in a timely fashion which I appreciated due to my own hectic schedule. My wedding is in July and I cannot wait to wear the beautiful creation that Sunny has made. I highly recommend her for the quality service and professionalism that she provides.

I am so incredibly grateful I found Gold Label! Everytime I leave there I am just flooded with relief that I chose Gold Label over anyone else.

The company I bought my wedding dress from quoted me close to $700 to alter my dress and bustle...ridiculous! The alterations were going to cost more than the dress itself. Gold Label charged me HALF the price and Sunny is far more knowledgeable and kind than any of the other alteration ladies I spoke to! The company I bought my dress from had also forcefully guilted me into buying an expensive corset and underskirt for my dress which made my light, summery dress feel heavy and hot (talk about feeling like a plastic wrapped sausage link), the corset squished my breasts to the point of nonexistence, and all of those undergarments added a ton of bulk to my body! Also, I had been promised an appointment with the retailer only to have them tell me they can't accommodate me any longer! I called Gold Label and she got me in on a day they were closed, just so I would have my dress altered in time for my wedding.

Sunny took one look at me (and listened to me!) and knew exactly what I wanted out of my dress instead (starting with getting rid of the corset and underskirt and adding cups). I am beyond pleased with Sunny's work and professionalism. I finally feel like myself in my dress and it fits absolutely wonderfully.

I'm already telling my best friend who gets married in September to avoid the retailer for alterations and go straight to Sunny at Gold Label! I promise you it's a decision you won't regret as a bride and you can put full confidence into Sunny!!

Gold Label Cleaners did an absolutely incredible job cleaning, repairing and preserving my gown. After an outdoor wedding on a rainy day, I wasn't sure my dress would ever look the same, but after Sunny's work, it looks brand new. I am so grateful that I took my dress to Gold Label Cleaners-- Sunny took such great care of it and my lace dress looks like it never had any of the stains and rips. The quality of the work and the customer service was amazing. I'd recommend Gold Label Cleaners to anyone!

If you are looking for the quickest/cheapest shop this is not the place. However, if you are looking for the BEST job, BEST preservation, and the BEST VALUE, look no further. I took my wife’s $4,000 Priscilla of Boston dress in here to clean. There were stains on the front, dirt all over the bottom from dragging it on the ground, wrinkled, and very similar to what you would expect after a fun wedding. I also waited (opps) one year after the wedding to bring in so the stains set in more. Staff was very helpful and turned it into Brand New, no kidding, Brand New. They also preserved it as they do some high end museum preservation as well. Very nice, new, and clean shop in the heart of the DTC. My wife and I are so glad we took it here and would HIGHLY recommend them. At first I had sticker shock on the price but I’m sooooo glad I spent a little more and had it done right!

Sunny and Gold Label Cleaners did an amazing job on my wedding dress. I have a beautiful Monique Lhuillier gown that was purchased on a sample sale and was in desperate need of a deep clean. They were able to make the dress look brand new and repaired the minor wear and tear marks from others trying it on. Since I was so pleased with the cleaning service, I also decided to have it altered here and Sunny made it fit perfectly. She knew every detail of the dress and had thought of everything- truly a professional.

She removed all the red wine stains the lace gown with Pearl Beads for me!

The money I paid couldn't thank her enough!!!

Quality service!

I used Gold Label Cleaners to clean my wedding dress both before and after my wedding since my dress was an off-the-rack sample dress. They were recommended by the store I got my dress from, and they did a great job. They also helped me get my dress in the car properly to make sure it was in a position where it wouldn't wrinkle, and they gave me tips on how to store my dress at home properly, as well. Would recommend them to anyone who needs a wedding dress cleaned.

Sunny was absolutely fantastic! I bought my wedding gown online for $190, in a size too large to allow for alterations. Sunny was on a recommended list for alterations from a boutique in town and had amazing reviews at yelp - decided to give her a shot. She was FANTASTIC. Had 12 bustles put on my dress, took it in at the waist around some complicating detailing on the gown, and took in at the straps. about 325 for everything. Less than some other quotes I got in the area, and great price for the quality. It fits like a dream, and she was so kind and thoughtful while she took it in. She even put a blue tie as part of my under bustle and said "See? I added your something blue for you!" She even changed my fitting appointment for me to accommodate my schedule - just needed my invoice #.

Pay up front for the alteration work - absolutely no concerns there. Her quality is fantastic.

They're also eco friendly and do great restoration work if that's your gig.

She had a bit of a tech glitch on my initial appointment and lost my appointment time. However, she was more than willing to take me in and has since fixed her scheduling process from what I have seen. I'd suggest calling day of to verify (with your invoice #).

Miracle worker!

I brought a vintage wedding dress here because it was the only Certified Wedding Gown Specialist and Certified Garment Care Professional in the Denver area. The dress was 2-tones as parts of it were very yellow and the rest was a drab white. It also had a lot of beads on it that were glued on.

I consulted with Sunny and she recommended a careful wash of it. She warned me that some of the beads may come off. She did not think it was a good idea to try to lighten the color. I left somewhat scared that the dress would not come out the way I wanted it to.

I was SHOCKED when I returned to the store. My dress was hanging next to other new wedding dresses and you couldn't tell the difference. The color of the dress is a new beautiful white that looks like new. Only a few beads came off and Sunny replaced them. I never expected this dress to look so good. She made a vinatge dress that I bought for $300 look like a new $5000 dress!

I would absolutely recommend Sunny and I will be using her for any special clothing needs I have in the future. She not only is good at what she does but she loves doing it. Any bride can feel secure when going to her. You can message me if you would like to see pictures.

Sunny did a great job on my dress.. it was a floor models and was a couple sizes too big.. She made it fit me perfectly and I couldn't be happier!!!

I had my dress hemmed and added a bustle here. Sunni did a great job & was very professional. She had everything ready for me each time I came in. She also suggested just 1 bustle instead of charging me for more and suggested just pressing the dress instead of having to (pay more and) clean it. I\'m very happy with the outcome.

First of all the dress looked and great and for the most part Sunny was good to work with. However, I had so many issues with scheduling. I had her do a lot of work to an older wedding dress so I had to come in for multiple fittings.
The first time she missed my appointment, so I showed up and she wasn't there for the fitting. Then the next three times I came and the dress wasn't ready. Each time I had scheduled an appointment with her and twice I called before coming in just to make sure it was ready.
So all in all her quality of service was great and I trusted her with my mom's dress, but I won't be going back for any other alteration work.

Way over priced. My friend took her gown to a place that charged much less, and it looked at least as good if not better than mine. She also said her experience at the other place was great, while I felt like a nobody here. Not so good.

The cleaning of my dress cost almost 1/4 of what I paid for the dress. I had to call repeatedly to ask why it had taken longer than the stated two months for my dress to be cleaned (it took them four months to finally do it) and in the end, they informed me they did not get all of the spots out.

Our experienced and licensed technicians take great care to provide you with the BEST service. However, there are some stains that do not come out without damage to the garment. We chose not to damage yours. We tried over time to clean it perfectly.
I am sincerely sorry you were not totally satisfied. I would like to offer you a coupon for another service if you would still be interested.

Refused to return an Heirloom Christening Gown

DO NOT take ANYTHING here that you value and want back. We have used this store so many times in the past for heirloom items. They have cleaned several items including quilts and most importantly an heirloom christening gown, which they have cleaned three times. I went tonight to pick up my gown (which I prepaid for) and the lady told me that I could not have it back, that she could not find it. She kept telling me it was in the store, but that she could not give it to me and I have to make an appointment next week to get it. This was bizarre as this had never happened in the several times we had been there before. I told her I would wait for her to look, she refused. She then told three other customers they could not have their items either. I got pretty upset and told her that she either found my garment and returned it now or I would consider it theft and call the police. She continued to refuse to even attempt to find it. I called to police. They came, she still refused to return the gown. At this point I told the police I didn't even want a refund I just wanted the gown. The officer was shocked that she would not even try to find it. He gave her until Monday (It's Friday) to find and return the gown or he would file a report.

Seriously, something has happened in the last couple years and the service has gone WAY down. I am still shocked that this has happened They do amazing work, but if they refuse to give you back a garment you prepaid for cleaning for that is a HUGE PROBLEM.

I tried to pick my dress up 3 times. It was never ready and no explanation. Finally the day before my wedding my mom picked it up for me. No apologies for the inconvenience or explanation. They asked me to bring it in after the wedding for preservation. Full price after all the aggravation. No way. I went somewhere else. You should too.

I went to Gold Label to preserve my wedding dress upon recommendation from the bridal shop where I purchased my dress. First off, I had to pay for the entire service ($520) up front without knowing how terrible the service would be. Next, Gold Label told me it would take around 3 months to preserve my wedding dress. It was 8 months and counting, and I had to keep calling to ask about the status of my dress. I honestly thought they lost my dress or completely ruined it and didn't want to tell me the truth! After much anticipation, I picked-up my wedding dress thinking that it was complete (silly me...). After I got home, I opened the box to check on the embroidery on the bag wrapped around the dress that I had paid for prior to the service. Not surprising, they didn't embroider the bag like I had asked them to and paid for up front! I called Gold Label to let them know that I would be going back to the shop to receive my money back for the embroidery (at this point, I just wanted my dress safe and sound in my house...I couldn't care less about the embroidery). The owner called me back and left a message saying that she actually forgot to finish stitching the back of the dress prior to preserving it! So, I have to take the dress BACK so she can finish stitching the dress! After all this time and aggravation, she didn't even finish the dress! And, if I had not called about the embroidery, she probably wouldn't have even called to tell me she forgot to finish the stitching!

Gold Label is completely unprofessional and a huge joke! Stay far far away unless you don't care to see your dress ever again without having to sell your first born child.

I took my wedding dress to Sunny at Gold Label Cleaners to be cleaned and preserved in Dec. 2013. It is an Alfred Sung Signature Dress (Style 6837) with a bling crystal sash (Value $2,300). I was told the dress would be ready in early March. I called then and was told that they were a little behind. I stopped by the store on April 2, still not ready. I stopped by the store again on June 4. I spoke with Sunny once again and I was told that it was still not ready, but she promised to have it done by June 16. Guess what? Never received a call from Sunny, so I stopped in the store again on July 12 fully expecting the dress to be ready based on our last conversation...still not ready. This time, I noticed that Sunny barely looked on the rack for the dress when she went to check. This is when I started having a sinking feeling. Sunny once again took down my phone number and promised to call the next day. There was never a phone call. On July 26, I followed up again and was told that the dress was ready. On August 8, a full 8 months since I dropped off my dress, I went to pick it up. Sunny told me that my wedding dress was ready and boxed, but they were out of the sealable bags that go on the outside. I said I would go ahead and take the boxed wedding dress and come back in for the bag when they had them in stock. Sunny then proceeded to spend the next 45 minutes trying to locate the dress. She never found it. She promised to call that night or the next morning. Sunny never called. We called her the next afternoon, Sunny still had not found my dress. There seems to be NO URGENCY from Sunny to locate my wedding dress. At this point, I feel like Sunny has been misleading me and lying to me for at least three months. The communication and this situation have been HORRENDOUS! Do not use this company for your wedding dress, if you ever want to see it again. I hope that my story with Sunny is not over yet and that I will see my wedding dress again.

Gold Label cleaners pressed my daughter's wedding gown before the wedding after it had been sent there by the store where it was purchased. The gown came back more wrinkled than when it was sent out. I had to press it myself when we got it back with the help of 2 of the wedding party. Unfortunately, we took the dress there after the wedding to have it cleaned and preserved. It cost $350. and it was not even done 5 months later. The owner had excuse after excuse. We don't even know it if it is clean as it is now in a box. Don't ever take anything here. Certainly not your several thousand dollar dress!!!
