I highly recommend Gloss Salon for anybody getting married! Jay the coordinator is super professional, responsive, and flexible! Krystal is the best hair stylist and did such a beautiful job!! I was super indecisive about my hair, at my trial I really loved my loose up-do look it was so beautiful, but the day of the wedding I decided I wanted my hair partially down; luckily Krystal had so many looks up her sleeve and her work was absolutely beautiful!! They did wonderful jobs with my bridal party, mothers and flower girls as well. You gotta go with Gloss!

So pleased with this vendor! Hired them for hair and make up for me & 8 bridesmaids - they were great. Special shout out to Krystal, who made my hair dreams come true. I have curly hair and up until 5 minutes before my turn to get my hair done as the bride, I wasn’t sure what to do with it (natural… extensions… totally done up?). Krystal somehow knew exactly what I wanted (even though I came off incredibly indecisive) and made my curly hair dreams come true - the perfect elevation of my natural hair. Seriously so grateful I had her on my big day.

I can’t say enough great things about working with Gloss Salon Delaware/Gloss in the City, especially Caitlyn Nurthen for hair and Kate Stout for makeup – Caitlyn did the wedding day hair for three other weddings that I was a bridesmaid in and I couldn’t imagine her not being there for mine! She always brings the best vibes for the day and makes everyone look their best. She immediately understood what I wanted at my trial and executed it perfectly on the day of. For makeup, I can’t thank Kate enough for how at ease she put me as someone who never wears make up. At the trial I gave her the smallest amount of direction and she knocked it out of the park. She made me feel glamorous, but still like myself. In addition, Gloss did all 8 of my bridesmaids and the MOB and MOG hair and all of the bridesmaids make up and finished perfectly on time. The best part about Gloss is they will travel to the site which takes that extra bit of stress out of the day. I loved working with Caitlyn and Kate, as well as Jay and Bethany to coordinate the leading up to the wedding day. I can’t recommend Gloss enough!

Beautiful glam by great girls!
Gloss did our on-site hair and makeup and it was so fun! For the trial and day of, Lindsay & Emma put so much effort into getting the exact style we wanted and making sure it would last all night. It did end up raining/very windy on our wedding day, so not everything could stay intact all night, but we still felt beautiful!

I never used Gloss prior to my wedding but I knew other brides that used them for their weddings & all they could do was rave about Gloss. Plus the reviews were fantastic! Krystal did our hair and I cannot praise her enough. Most of us girls had long hair, one had really short hair, and we all wanted different hair styles; Krystal made sure that everyone had everyone's hair curled, set & pinned in time. Not one girl had to "fix" their own hair after Krystal left or re-pin falling hair later in the night. As for my hair, she made me look fantastic. My hair captured my personality and made me receive countless compliments all night. I can't forget Bethany in this review - she helped set up everything up & worked with me on date changes. These ladies are without a doubt some of the best artists of their craft that I have ever had the pleasure of working with- the fact that they can do all of this on-location makes them the ultimate hair wedding vendor in my book. So Happy With My Hair and Makeup
I went to their Wilmington, DE location and Kate and Brittany did a wonderful job on our hair and makeup. I couldn't have been more pleased. Kate walked each person through the whole makeup process so that she was doing just the right amount of makeup so that no one would be uncomfortable. And Brittany did an excellent job on our hair styles. Everyone looked beautiful and I don't think I can say anything else more positive about my experience here.

Lindsay came to the hotel for my daughter’s wedding. We weren’t local and couldn’t consult with her in advance. So, we had to rely on her to come up with a hair style and makeup - and our faith was well-placed. Lindsay created an elegant and natural look that suited my daughter perfectly. The best hair and makeup
I booked Gloss salon for our 10/12/2019 wedding. They did not disappoint. Everyone in our group looked amazing. I was obsessed with my hair and makeup. Emma did my makeup and Tonya did my hair. I couldn't be happier with the experience. I reached out to them somewhat last minute after a trial I had didn't go exactly as I had hoped. They were able to fit us in and everyone looked and felt amazing. I attached a few photos from my photographer (and a selfie to show you my makeup). I cropped the one photo so you can see the back of my hair. If you are looking for a salon to do your hair or makeup for a special occasion, I would not hesitate to book gloss. They are amazing.

Talented, kind people with amazing skill!
Gloss did such an amazing job for my wedding, I can't say enough good things about them! Krystal did my hair and Emma did my makeup. They are 2 insanely talented women! They did my trial as well, which I did for my bridal shower. I got SO many compliments at my shower and my wedding!!! My hair stayed put all day (which has literally never happened for me with my thin straight hair) and my makeup looked amazing despite the heat and humidity. Krystal and Emma came on-site and they were so sweet and fun to have there that morning. They made the morning so relaxed and put my mind at ease. Thank you, Krystal and Emma! Gloss Salon was so great and accommodating to work with! I had a brunch wedding with a very early "getting ready" time, but Gloss assured me from the beginning that it would be no problem. Krystal (hair) and Emma (makeup) arrived before dawn and styled us all beautifully; no one had to retouch their hair and makeup all day. Plus, they were really fun to hang out with, too. Would definitely recommend!

Not once did I have to adjust my hair or re-touch my makeup in 10 hours! They were both very helpful and made suggestions, as not everyone knew exactly what they wanted to do for hair and makeup. They were both very easy to talk to and we had lots of laughs, which is important when they spend so much time helping you get ready on such an important day! I never went to gloss before my hair and makeup trial, but I am thinking I will be switching my go-to salon to Gloss.

I originally chose Gloss because of their prices, flexibility, and other reviews. It was definitely the correct choice! When I went in for my hair and makeup trial, the woman who did my makeup discussed with me to find out exactly what I wanted (natural/air brushing/fake eyelashes). She did an amazing job, both on the trial day and the day of the wedding. For my hair, I thought I knew what I wanted and I came in with a picture. The woman who did my hair said it might not look great because of my dark hair, but she agreed to do it so we could see. When she finished, I decided I didn't like it, so she took it out and we tried a different style. She incorporated the braids and curls that I wanted and she came up with the most beautiful hair style. I was ecstatic. The same two women came to my house the day of the wedding to do hair and makeup for me, my bridal party, and the moms. Everyone was very happy with their resulting looks and we all looked fabulous for the big day. I highly recommend this company.

She showed up at the hotel right on time, was fast and efficient while doing make up for myself, my mom, and some of my bridesmaids. My sister and I both used Gloss for our weddings, which were a month and a half apart. I was so impressed with the girls that helped us for her big day that I requested her for mine as well. Shannon did not disappoint at all! We had a larger party and so Gloss sent 3 girls, all of whom were amazing, very friendly, and easy to work with. We held our wedding in Lancaster, and in order to be ready on time, the girls arrived at 7am, and even at that early time were on their A-game. All of my bridesmaids really enjoyed how east they were to talk to, and how great of a job they did with their hair & make-up. The team really listened to all requests that were made as far as hairstyles and how we all wanted our make-up done. I would recommend using Gloss for whatever event you have coming up!

Gloss provided the makeup services for myself, mother and bridal party (9 of us total) for my October 8th wedding at Deerfield Country Club! Liz was wonderful, and very relaxed which helped to ease my nerves that morning and afternoon prior to the wedding- she did a wonderful job, and everyone looked beautiful. I ended up being the only lady to have airbrush vs traditional makeup done, and it looked wonderful! Liz did a great job at blending, and minimizing the "caked on" look that airbrush makeup can sometimes have in close-up photos. As an October bride, I really wanted to do bold lips and cheeks (instead of traditional neutral makeup palette I did red lips) and was very encouraged when Liz became genuinely excited with my makeup ideas at my trial. I would recommend Gloss, in particular Liz, to anyone looking for a wonderful makeup artist!

They answered all of my numerous questions and responded wonderfully to some special needs of my wedding party. Tateum did an amazing job on my bridal hair and makeup and my 2 bridesmaids' hair & makeup for my wedding. Everyone was THRILLED with their hair and makeup and the prices were very reasonable. I'm not a makeup person, so I discussed this with Tateum so I wouldn't look like a different person on my wedding day because of so much makeup. She definitely heard what I was saying, and made me look so beauiful, and more importantly, I still looked like me! I was so impressed that my makeup remained flawless all day and night through pictures and dancing! Everyone at the wedding was just blown away by my updo. They couldn't get over how classicly elegant my hair looked! I absolutely loved the flexibility of Tateum being able to come to the bridal suite as well to create a stress-free environment. I would highly recommend Gloss Salon to brides and bridesmaids for you next wedding.

I am thrilled with the hair and makeup service provided by Gloss for my wedding. They came to my mom's house so we did not have to drive elsewhere before the ceremony. Some of my girls had their hair done at another salon, which did a terrible job. When they came to the house, the Gloss girls stepped up and repaired the damage so that everyone looked flawless for the day! They were so fun, kind, and accommodating, I highly recommend them for any bride.

I was so pleased with Gloss! I first had my trial hair and makeup done there, and the day of I was feeling very sick. They did not discourage me from going, and gave me hot coffee and mints to help sooth my cough. They listened to what I wanted, and gave great suggestions. The day of the wedding they came to my parent's house right on time, and got straight to business. I thought everyone's hair and makeup looked beautiful, and the cost was competitive. Emma did my makeup, and if I had the money I'd hire her to come over every day! My only complaint would be that my hair started to fall down very quickly the day of the wedding, however I do think I could have spoken up sooner and asked for my support.

I had used Gloss for a special event prior to becoming engaged, so they were already on the shortlist of vendors to contact. Then, I won a free hair and make up trial at a bridal show, so I figured it must be a sign!
I opted to go into the salon to get ready since it was 5 minutes from my house and I didn't want to have to worry about having anything they might need.
Caitlyn and Lauren were fabulous. They took everyone's suggestion of low, loose and weddingy and created gorgeous updos. Everyone's hair and makeup looked beautiful. I couldn't believe the outstanding service for such a reasonable price.

My four bridesmaids and I had our hair done by the ladies at Gloss Salon and it looked great! They came to our hotel and were super accommodating given the flood of family members and friends coming in and out, us all eating lunch, and a fussy 4 month old baby all in the room. They did a great job customizing what each of us wanted and making each style a little unique from the rest.

Tateum and the Gloss Salon team did an amazing job on my bridal hair, my 6 bridesmaids, and my mother-in-law's hair for my wedding. Attendees at our wedding were shocked in particular with how perfect the bridesmaid up-dos were given oftentimes at weddings these styles can be hit or miss. Everyone was THRILLED with their hair and the prices were very reasonable. We loved the flexibility of them being able to come to my hotel suite as well to create a stress-free environment. While my hair didn't end up completely holding up (very long worn down with curls) in the July heat, it was super easy to throw into an up-do prior to my reception and my makeup remained flawless all day and night through pictures and dancing. I would highly recommend Gloss Salon to brides and bridesmaids for you next wedding.

Gloss was perfect! They were recommended by The Christiana Hilton and I am so glad we contracted them for our wedding day. Tateum is so talented, I loved the way my hair turned out the day of. It was so convenient to have her come to the hotel while we were getting ready. I found it very difficult to find someone who would come work on site and not charge an arm and a leg but the Gloss prices are great. When I went in for my trial everyone at the salon was so pleasant and happy. The whole experience was really fun and not at all stressful.

I used Gloss Salon for my December wedding. The stylists showed up at our hotel bright and early to get everyone ready! They were professional but down-to-earth and so easy to talk to! All 7 of my bridesmaids, 3 flower girls, and MOB looked stunning! My mother is quite picky about her hair and has never liked it when getting it done in the past, BUT these ladies worked their magic and my mom was obsessed with her up-do! She still talks about how much she loved it and how beautiful she felt. I went for a hair and make-up trial before the big day and I felt that the stylists listened to what I liked and didn't like and made me feel beautiful on our big day. The salon was extremely flexible with some girls doing just hair or just make-up. They also finished up right on time. Everything went so smoothly! I'd highly recommend them for your wedding day!

I used Gloss for my wedding and they were perfect. All the staff members were very professional and friendly whenever I dealt with them. They arrived on time to our location. One makeup artist and 2 hair stylists did 9 up-dos and 7 girls for makeup in four hours- I was very impressed. We were all ready on time and looked great. I'm really happy with their services and would highly recommend them to other brides. A little pricey, but well worth it

Tateum and Jay were very personable and fun to work with!! I had a trial with Kate and tried out the airbrush. It was a little too heavy for me so Tateum set me up with a second trial free of charge!! Kate did me and 5 girls on my wedding day. My makeup was flawless on my wedding day!! I feel like I still looked like myself only enhanced! Kate was so patient and amazing on the day of!! I couldn't have asked for a better makeup artist!! She was also fun to get to know!! Gloss Salon was absolutely awesome to work with from start to finish. Nickie and Kate showed up right on time and quickly got to work. Nickie was super flexible when I decided to completely change my hair and make-up style from my original trial a week before the wedding. They had all of the hair and makeup done (even an extra add), well before it was time for photos. Everything was perfect and stayed that way all night. I was married on the beach and it was just a little breezy, but everyone’s hair stayed in place and looked like Nickie had just done it.
The entire staff at Gloss were so nice, helpful and flexible. Definitely book their bridal hair/makeup team for your big day

Gloss salon was perfect for my wedding party. They arrived promptly, and worked even more quickly than I expected. I had 6 girls to get their hair done (including myself) and it probably took 30 minutes a person. Everyone loved how they looked, and the styles stayed in place all evening. I personally LOVED mine. Gloss Salon was absolutely a breeze to work with. From my initial phone contact I was hooked with how flexible they were. I was able to do a hair and makeup trial (separately) and Nikki knew exactly what i was looking for.
The day of my wedding Nikki and Kate showed up early and go to work quickly. They even took on an extra person that was not planned. My hair and makeup were perfect. I made some changes from my trial and Nikki was great. They were there as long as we needed them and done in plenty of time to start photos.
The services they provided were best that I have had professionally. I have sensitive skin and Nikki was able to adjust where needed. She even covered my rosacea without making me look like a caked on bride.
I recommend Gloss Salon to anyone looking for hair and makeup services!

Having no prior experience with this salon, I chose Gloss for my wedding day from the excellent reviews. They were all correct. Lauren and Crystal styled my hair plus my Mom's and 5 bridesmaids. We all looked beautiful and were finished ahead of schedule. The ladies were so friendly and we had a great morning getting beautified!

After some bad experiences during other weddings I've been in with hair and makeup I was a little skeptical about using just any service. My friend booked them for her wedding on 10/12/2013 (she also has a glowing review below). They were FANTASTIC!!! A slight disclaimer, I've been a client at Gloss for 13 years, so I know how great their work is. But on my wedding day I was hopping to amp it up a little, include make-up and get my 3 bridesmaids hair styled as well. I was beyond satisfied. Tateum knocked it out of the park! All of my ladies looked stunning, no typical "bridal" hair here, just gorgeous flowing layers and partial ups with style. For myself, a beautiful partial up, with wisps of soft hair flowing down and make-up that was just a little extra without making me look too over-done. It was exactly what I had wanted and the ladies raved about their hair all night. Compliments were not rare from others either! Fabulous salon service and something to treat you and your ladies to, well worth it!

Gloss was awesome! They arrived at the bed and breakfast where I was staying at 5:30AM sharp ready to start our hair and makeup. They finished all our makeup and hair in little over 2 hours. There were 5 of us who got our hair done and 4 of us who got makeup done. There was a head hair stylist, assistant hair stylist and makeup artist. They seemed to have a good assembly line where hair would be set first, than makeup done and than hair taken down and styled. They did a great job making me beautiful for my special day.

I cannot say enough about the service that Gloss offered on my wedding day! When I went in for my trial run, everyone was friendly and I immediately felt at ease with Emma. On the day of, Emma came to my mom's house and stayed well into the day, offering lip gloss touch ups whenever needed, right before we did photos, and right before we left. We were all able to purchase the lip color she used on my girls and me (if we wanted). To this day, almost a year later, when people look at my photos, they ask who did my makeup and I rave about Gloss! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hired Gloss for onsite hair and makeup at my wedding. They had everything set up and ready to go by the time I arrived. We had four people getting their makeup done, and six getting hair, everyone was done with time to spare. I was really happy with how everyones hair and makeup turned out. They did a wonderful job.

I just got married in November and Gloss did the make-up for me and my bridal party. They had a make-up artist come to my sister's house on the morning of. Kate, the make-up artist, was prompt, professional, and very talented. I had never had my make-up done before and she did an outstanding job. I think the entire group looked fabulous and not caked on or over done. I especially loved how she made my make-up look special enough for my big day but but natural enough that I still felt like myself. Also, Kate was very flexible on timing and was even able to fit in my two nieces unexpectedly. I'd definitely recommend them to brides in the area!

Lauren and Nicki were amazing. Hair and makeup for the girls, hair for the boys, and everyone ready 20 minutes ahead of schedule. I recommend them to any bride who doesn't want to spend the morning of her wedding in a salon. I cannot say enough good things about Tateum and her team at Gloss! They traveled from their salon to take care of my HUGE group of ladies (15 in total, I think) for my wedding. Having worked in the beauty industry myself, I had pretty high expectations but couldn't have been more thrilled with how everyone's hair and make up turned out! The entire team was professional, friendly, and laid back (a big bonus for being able to handle neurotic brides like me!) - even through a power surge that blew out all of the electricity in our room! Having had two disastrous trials with other salons prior to booking Gloss, take my advice and just call them first. They're incredibly talented and made each and every one of my girls look and feel gorgeous. Thank you!

Let me start my review by saying that I had never heard of Gloss prior to planning my wedding and the reason I even contacted them at all was because of their reviews on weddingwire.... Lauren and Krystal did our hair and I cannot praise them enough. Every girl had long hair and wanted some type of curly updo; these two had everyone's hair curled, set and pinned in record time. I may be biased, but I have never seen a bridal party's hair look as fun & glamorous as mine. Not one girl had to "fix" their own hair after Lauren & Krystal left or repin falling hair later in the night. As for my hair, if I didn't just have my own make up done I probably would have teared up with how perfect and spot on Lauren pinned my hair- I wanted "BIG!" with this white feather/flower clip attached to the side and she made me look fantastic. My hair captured my personality and made me recieve countless compliments all night. I can't forget Emma in this review- all of my girls wanted the "sexy/smoky eye" look and Emma not only granted everyone's wish but also made everyone look like a celebrity. I've been to weddings where the bridal party looks good in pictures but looks "trashy" up close, this was not the case at my wedding. My girls wore hot orange, which could lead to clown-looking make up if the artist wasn't conscious of her color choices, but Emma made everyone look stunning. These ladies are without a doubt some of the best artists of their craft that I have ever had the pleasure of working with- the fact that they can do all of this on-location makes them the ultimate hair & make-up wedding vendor in my book.

I was recently in a wedding where Gloss came to the wedding venue to do hair and makeup. Lauren & Krystal did our hair and Liz did our makeup. There were 8 of us (bride, bridesmaid, mothers) and we all looked amazing. The team showed up on time and had everyone done in 5 hours. Everyone had really pretty hairstyles, no two were the same. The stylist had great ideas for those who didn't come up ideas. Liz also gave us the option to buy fake eyeslashes as well as lip gloss so that we could touch up our lips throughout the night. The price for hair and makeup was very reasonable, especially since they came to us. I personally felt like I looked like a million bucks. I will definitely recomment Gloss to everyone I know who is planning a wedding.

Absolutely wonderful! Since I typically wear zero makeup and my current makeup collection consists of a single tube of mascara, I knew getting a professional would be money well spent.
I made all the arrangements over e-mail and they were very responsive to all my questions. On the day of the wedding, Kate, the MUA, arrived right on time and got to work. There was three of us (bride, MOH and MOB) getting makeup and we all have different skin tones. She did a fabulous job on all of us. Tateum then did my mom's hair and by the time she was done, my Mom was looking 10 years younger. Highly recommended!

I cannot recommend Gloss enough for wedding hair/makeup. Tateum did my hair and makeup for my wedding and it turned out amazing. I got married the day that tropical storm Andrea rolled into town, and it literally monsooned the entire day. I was so stressed because I had had my naturally curly hair blown out and was afraid the weather would leave me looking like a poodle by the time ceremony started, but, thanks to Tateum, my up-do and makeup stayed perfect all day and long into the night. The bridesmaids' hair was equally gorgeous, and Allison did an amazing job with their makeup and the makeup of my mom and mother-in-law. Everyone looked natural and beautiful. Both Tateum and Allison were very professional, nice and easy to work with from beginning to end. You won't be disappointed if you hire Gloss for your wedding.

I corresponded with Tateum (mgr) - who was very responsive and answered all of my questions. I filled out and sent in my information form and NO deposit was needed! They also INCLUDED their travel fee in their reasonable price. Granted my venue is only 20 miles from their shop but I will still impressed that travel was included!
I booked a hair trial a couple of months before my wedding and met Bethany, the owner. Bethany was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and we nailed my perfect updo in 2 takes. I also went back to Bethany for a complete color change a few weeks before my wedding!
On my wedding day - they totally knocked me out. They showed up EARLY and I mean EARLY 6:45 am and got myself, my 2 maids of honor (daughter) and my 12 year old "best chick" done in 1.5 hours. By 8:30 am we were DONE!
They did an awesome job with all four of us - we looked natural and gorgeous - with no airbrush needed! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to all my friends and loved ones! I'm so proud to say I hired the BEST!
I also plan to continue going to Gloss's Newark salon for my future styling needs!

Team Bethany & Nickie from Gloss Salon were fabulous to work with. I contacted them on short notice to do my Hair & M/U along with 9 other members of the bridal party - not only did they accommodate but did an AMAZING job creating the 1950's pin up girl styles that we all wanted to have. When Bethany & Nicole were finished with us we looked like we could have been on the cover of Vogue in 1957
The ladies were on time and kept us on schedule for our pictures. All of our hair & makeup stayed in tact throughout the day, the wedding and right into our after party.
It truly was fun to work with them on our wedding day!

Gloss Salon was absolutely amazing from our original contact straight through to the wedding day. The entire staff at the salon was so easy to deal with and responded to our many e-mails right away. My daughter Pam got married this past Friday at Greenville Country Club. Having the ladies from Gloss do our hair and make up at the wedding venue was perfect. They were on time and worked non-stop to get hair done for 7 members of the bridal party and make up for 3 of us. Lauren is so talented! We all had different pictures of all different hairstyles - down, up, braided, curly and they were all PERFECT! Emma did our make-up and it was beautiful. All of us received so many compliments about how beautiful the hair and make up were. Choosing Gloss Salon is without a doubt one of the best decisions we made planning the wedding!

Gloss did an excellent job on our June 16, 2012 wedding. All of the girls were ecastic with their hair and makeup, and I absolutely loved mine as well! Everyone looked like a model that day, and we all got so many complements! Not only did they do an amazing job on the hair and makeup, but they were kind and personable, and helped me relax with their calm demeanor. They even stayed later to help touch up my makeup when I cried from the stress of my wedding day. I can not recommend them enough. They are FANTASTIC! Thank you Gloss!!!

Bethany and her crew came in on time, set up and worked quickly and professionally. I was very pleased with my hair and make-up, and I was very happy with my bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law hair/make-up. I liked that they worked well together and kept me calm on my day. The ladies at gloss made hair and make-up convenient and did an amazing job! They came to the hotel the day of the wedding at no extra charge and provided their services on site. I was so happy with how my hair turned out and would recommend them to anyone!

Nickie was wonderful. She worked with my super curly hair EXPERTLY. My makeup was lovely. I got a lot of compliments. She was so sweet and easy to work with. Gloss even travels to your wedding site, mine was 1 hr away from the salon. Awesome!

Kat and Jamie were awesome! They met with us in our hotel room and spent the morning doing hair and make-up for the whole group (6 had their hair done, 7 had their make-up done). Kat did a wonderful job on my make-up; I was so worried I wouldn't look "like me", but she brought out the best in all of my features and I loved the result! Hair and make-up lasted nearly 12 hours, and was everything we hoped for!

I got Gloss Salon to do my hair and makeup for my wedding and would recommend them in a heart beat. I had Tateum for both my hair and makeup who did a wonderful job on both! She was great to work with, very friendly and very quick to reply to any questions I had. After the trial run for makeup, I had a few requests for changes in my makeup and she did her best to meet them!

If you want absolutely perfect hair and make-up for your wedding, go to Gloss. If you're not sure exactly what you want, go to Gloss. Tateum and the rest of the staff are phenomenal, professional, and amazing at what they do. For my trial run, I showed Tateum a photo and tried to describe how I wanted my hair and she made it look perfect. I mean perfect. And it looked exactly the same on the wedding day. Make-up I wasn't sure about because I don't wear much on a regular basis, so we talked a little about what I had in mind and she did her thing at the trial run. I liked it at first, but then had second thoughts, thought it was a bit too much. I e-mailed her expressing my concerns and she invited me back for a second trial (at no additional charge) to make sure we got it right. So I came in with a photo, and we discussed a bit more what I wanted, and at the second trial run it was perfect. And on the wedding day again, she replicated it exactly and it was just perfect.
Tateum and Sam came to our hotel promptly on time, set up everything, so my girls and I were comfy in our hotel room with robes and champagne getting ready and it was just a great experience in itself. Not to mention Tateum and Sam were super cool and fun to hang out with while they were beautifying us!
Highly recommended, obviously. I'll definitely go back in the future. It is a bit pricey, yes, you can get hair and make up done for decently lower prices, but why would you settle for less than outstanding for your wedding day? Go to Gloss!

Gloss was such a success on my wedding day. They had a great system of having two girls at time getting their hair curled, and then calling them back two by two to do their updos, and left my style and makeup for last (which was a good thing especially with all the happy tears!). For me, the most important thing was that I still looked like me, and Gloss made me look beautiful in without being overly done up. Couldn't be happier with how I looked in pictures, and they were pretty competitive on price as well!

I don’t even know where to begin with Lindsay at Gloss Salon. I knew after my trial that she would do great work for my big day, but I was just blown away the day of. First of all, she had four Bridesmaids and my mom to get through first and she whipped them all up without skipping a beat and each one looked perfect. My hair and makeup were flawless. I loved everything about it and received compliment after compliment the entire night on how beautiful my hair looked and, minus a couple of curls that didn’t quite make it through the six hours of dancing, it stayed entirely intact. A HUGE thank you to everything Lindsay did for my wedding! The entire Bridal Party just looked stunning!

I got married on June 6, 2015. Nickie and her assistant Cassandra are extremely talented at what they do. All of my bridesmaids absolutely LOVED their up-dos and mine was even better than the trial, which I thought was amazing too. Nickie also did my make-up and she knew exactly what I wanted after I showed her 1 or 2 pictures. Gloss is definitely the way to go when it comes to wedding up-dos and make-up. Thanks again Nickie!

Gloss Salon did AMAZING work on my 4/6/13 wedding. I originally booked the salon due to the make up artist, Emma and she did not disappoint. The owner was super helpful in calming me down regarding the hair and make up process. Jess did our hair and was professional, relaxed and very experienced. I can't thank their team enough-we had them come to the house which we loved!

I loved working with Gloss salon for my wedding. Tatum and Jamie came out to my house the morning of, and were both so nice and professional. Tatum did my hair and I was so pleased with how it turned out. I really enjoyed being able to relax at home the morning of my wedding, and having them come to me, instead of having to go to a salon. I used gloss salon for my wedding hair and makeup after my best friend used them for her wedding. I had two trials, neither were free, but I chose to have a second one so I didn't mind paying for the second one at least. I absolutely love the girls who came to provide their services on my wedding day (Kate for makeup and I forget the girls who did our hair's names, I'm terrible with names). Kate is an artist and all of my girls looked flawless after she finished their makeup. However, she used lip sense for all of us and literally before we made it to the ceremony the product had flaked off. Which was frustrating because I was nervous about going with a bold lip due to the risk of it coming off and Kate assured me that this product would not come off. I had used it for my trial and it didn't budge, but literally everyone's lip sense came off within 2 hours of application (without eating/drinking, etc). My hair was pretty but started falling out as soon as she put my veil in. Which was also frustrating because I asked her to make sure my hair didn't move. After the ceremony, my bridesmaids all had to re-pin my hair to keep it from completely falling out. During the reception, I feel like my makeup started melting off pretty quickly and my hair didn't really look the best. Overall, it didn't really affect my night, I still had an amazing time, but I didn't feel like I looked my best. I feel that Gloss's prices were really high compared with other services I've seen, especially since I wasn't super happy with the result. I looked great as soon as they finished but it didn't last. It was $90 per service per girl, so each girl had to pay $180, kinda high in my opinion.

Service was not well organized. They made us arrive at 6 a.m. for hair and makeup with completely washed hair and in the end the makeup lady was just sitting around for an hour or more with not much to do. Instead of scheduling one girl at a time, everyone had to be ready by 6 a.m. and 3 out of the 4 women from Gloss had a lot of downtime as did most of the bridesmaids. All of the vendors my daughter had at her wedding were polite, courteous and made all of us feel very special except for the women at Gloss. The 'boss' was very rude to me (the mother) because I knew there was a better way to do this than make everyone arrive with washed hair at 6. She also charged me $60 for a trial blow out - something any other salon would have charged me $25-$30 for. Finally we had our nails manicured at one of the gloss salons and it was the worst manicure I've ever had. My daughter had to redo hers somewhere else the next day. On top of all this we were all ready almost an hour before we had to be. Thankfully the adrenaline of the day carried us through but there was absolutely no reason for everyone to arrive and be ready at 6 a.m. - especially the bride. The makeup was fine once we asked the lady to tweak it. The hair came out fine - but the bride's trial run was much different than the final hairdo of the day. Thankfully - the other vendors we worked for made up for this bad experience.
