Mary Jo is an absolute delight to work with—she took the time to understand and clarify our vision, was super communicative throughout the whole process, and is a genius with flowers. All of the flower arrangements for my daughter’s wedding and reception were just beautiful. My husband and I are very happy we went with Flowers by Gloriosa. I worked with Mary Jo for all of the preparation and she was so so helpful giving me advice and working with me to be efficient with our budget. She was the epitome of excellent customer service and her work was completely lovely and gave us the vibe we were hoping for. We were fortunate enough to have Flowers by Gloriosa as our florist for our October 7th wedding. Working with Mary Jo was one of the highlights of wedding planning. She has top notch professionalism and her flowers are truly a work of art. She really took the time to get to know my likes and dislikes and truly made my vision come to life. We had a last minute change to our reception venue, which could have been very stressful but Mary Jo was there every step of the way to talk me through the changes, offer ideas and lots of encouragement. Incredibly beautiful florals on a day we'll never forget
Mary Jo created the most beautiful bouquets and arrangements for our wedding day. She perfectly captured the colors, the types of flowers, and the overall look we were going for. The floral structure she did in front of the tree were married under was stunning and beyond anything I could have hoped for.
Mary Jo is incredibly knowledgeable on all different types of blooms and color theory. She really listened to all of our ideas and made lots of suggestions as well. Mary Jo with Gloriosa was wonderful to work with. I had a vague idea of what I wanted and Mary Jo worked with me and brought it to reality. All of the flowers turned out beautifully. She also did a great job setting up the flowers at the venue the day of the wedding.
My cascading bouquet turned out exactly how I wanted it and was even more beautiful then I ever imagined.

Mary Jo was so great! I inquired about her doing flowers for me pretty close to my wedding day and she quickly eased all my fears! Mary Jo was both extremely knowledgeable about flowers and what would look good where, she was amazing to work with. Made us feel right at home the instant we met her!
Our flowers were amazing and we recieved so many compliments from our guests.
She also was able to provide us with many other rentable items that saved us purchasing and therefore money in the long run. When our venue didn't have the appropriate table linens for their tables, she special ordered for us.

We are really happy we chose Mary Jo/Gloriosa to make our wedding flowers for our wedding this past September! She did a beautiful job! The bouquets were stunning - I mean, just absolutely gorgeous! She made the guy's bouts exactly how I had imagined. They were perfect! She also made a beautiful bridal flower crown, which held up throughout the night and fit great! Everything was fresh, the bouquets and bigger arrangements lasted for a good week or so after the wedding, and it all photographed extremely well. We also rented our linens, clear flowers vases, silver dessert platters, candelabras, and candles from Mary Jo. It was all just as described, arrived clean and on time, and really made everything that much better! On top of all that, she came to the rescue 2 days before our wedding and got my bouquet, flower crown, and my husband's bout to our wedding planner so she could bring it to us for pictures at the venue (Hurricane Flo was giving us major doubts about Saturday's weather (outdoor wedding), so we opted for photos on Thursday when the weather was clear)! We can't thank her enough for all her hard work to make our day as beautiful as we planned it to be! You're the best, Mary Jo!

Let me start off by saying, if you chose Gloriosa, you will not be disappointed! Prior to meeting with Mary Jo, I met with several local florist, who were either way outside my budget or didn't leave me feeling confident that they could deliver what I was looking for. My first meeting with Mary Jo far exceeded my expectations. She took time to listen to what I wanted, asked very detailed questions, had me look through pictures to help her get an idea of what I was looking for. When she sent the proposal it was very detailed and included pictures of the flowers she was going to use and even worked with me to ensure I stayed within my budget. A month out from my wedding, I had an episode where I got nervous and upset, afraid that the colors were not going to be what I wanted. Mary Jo called me late in the evening to walk me through a few options. When the flowers were delivered, I honestly couldn't believe how beautiful they were. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous! Flowers can be a large expense, but I'd have to say they were worth every penny.

Mary Jo is a true artist! She worked with us to create a special day that was beautiful. The colors she suggested based on what we were looking for made the site so much more special. She also was extremely accommodating for the last minute changes to where the wedding was going to take place at the venue due to heavy rains the week before. She handled this very professionally and brought additional items to make it all work. I would highly recommend her.

Mary Jo scheduled a call with me as soon as I sent in my request for a quote. She went through every wedding detail with me, asked questions that I didn't even think about (she is incredibly impressive and knows her stuff), we passed inspirational photos back and forth over email and she didn't rush my thought process. She put me at ease and from our first call, I knew she was the person who would make my flower dreams come true! I am so thrilled with how it all came together and my family and friends still rave about the gorgeous photos and attention to detail. When Chris and I decided to get married, I knew one thing - the flowers had to be magnificent. I don't mean over the top, but I had a vision of exactly what I wanted and a decent budget to stay within. For me, the flowers were the priority.
I didn't shop around for a florist, actually only set up two appointments. MaryJo was my first meeting and I had no need to go to the second after because she knew exactly what I wanted. She listed. She offered suggestions. And I felt like I would be working with someone who I was partnering with - not simply someone who was going to take the ball and run.
My experience working with MaryJo was smooth, professional and seamless.
I remember telling my best friend that I wanted guests to come into the tent and feel like they were at something special. Again, not over the top, but special. I wanted them to have that experience. And so, she paid close attention to everyone's reaction. They said it to each other and to me throughout the night, "I have never seen such beautiful tables... the FLOWERS!"
I highly recommend Gloriosa and would work with MaryJo again in a heartbeat if/when the occasion arises!

The flowers and bouquets she put together were the most beautiful ones I've ever seen. She has everything you'll need in terms of rentals as well. In fact, I ended up renting table runners from her that ended up tying my entire reception look together. She was at my venue early to deliver and set up. I had a center piece for the arbor we used, and her assistants set up the center piece and the fabric around the arbor for us! I can't recommend Gloriosa flowers enough!

She developed the most beautiful floral and accessorery design for both the ceremony and reception. With the 4 hour time difference, Mary Jo was always willing to speak with me at off hours. I am very picky when it comes to flowers (mostly what I really do not like versus what I wanted) and Mary Jo worked with me to figure out what we could make work. Our bouquets were absolutely breath taking and everything I imagined! So was the mantle piece and the table center pieces! Mary Jo is worth every penny and her flowers speak for themselves.

Before my appointment, Mary Jo had me e-mail her pictures of flowers I liked and of my bridesmaids' dresses. When I showed up for my appointment, she was prepared, professional, and so so helpful! She knew the names of each of the flowers I had sent her and helped me build my dream bouquet, slightly changing the flowers in the bridesmaid bouquets to make our package more affordable. We also used her beautiful arbor for our outdoor wedding. The flowers were beautiful, the process was easy, and the pricing was clear and upfront - we were able to adjust to fit our budget.

I called Mary Jo at the LAST minute (weekend before) due to a mishap with my original vendor, and she was so accommodating I almost thought it was too good to be true. But, she did exactly what we wanted - I sent her colors and some favorite flowers, and our bouquets turned out GORGEOUS! All fresh, full, beautiful jewel colors with bright leaves contrasting. It was exactly what I wanted and the price was more than reasonable. Mary Jo went out of her way to help us in so many ways. We highly recommend Gloriosa.

In the summer of 2015 our organization sponsored a luncheon and needed floral arrangements for the tables as well as corsages for the hostesses. We live in Florida and wanted to bring the tropical effect to our luncheon. Gloriosa exceeded our expectations! I absolutely LOVED doing the DIY flowers with Mary Jo and my family. She is so easy to work with and listens to your ideas but also makes sure you will get the best product. For instance, I love hydrangeas and was going to put them in the barn we got married in. Mary Jo made sure to let me know that hydrangeas do not do well in heat and suggested another beautiful flower for the barn and then incorporated hydrangeas in everything else. I was so glad she let me know that because I do not know much about flowers and would have hated if my beautiful hydrangeas were all wilted and dying because of the heat. I highly suggest doing the DIY flowers because my family and I had a blast doing them and it didn't take long at all with Mary Jo's guidance. It was also really fun getting to see the flowers completed and at the venue because we all felt so proud that we had made the beautiful flower arrangements! Even if you don't want to do DIY flowers I highly recommend using Glorisa for your big day. I had Mary Jo make my bouquet and it was simply perfect.

I had photos showing the feeling that I wanted in my flowers but not a specific look and she ran with it!She really went above and beyond my expectations with each and every floral arrangement. My bouquet was spectacular and I received a ton of compliments on how gorgeous it was. Truly the wedding wouldn’t have been the same without Mary Jo’s flowers adding pops of color everywhere! She did floral arrangements for our rehearsal dinner as well and they were equally beautiful. She didn't mind the multiple items I ended up wanting to add and was happy to set up a time to go over the final contract with me. Mary Jo was wonderful to work with for my daughter's wedding! On our first meeting, she led us through the process and choices with patience and evidence of years of experience and creativity. It was especially helpful to have photos of all the flowers she used and examples of combinations on her computer screen to show us as we made decisions. All the flowers/arrangements were stunningly beautiful and pulled the whole wedding together. They lasted well thru the whole day, staying fresh and lovely. It was helpful that she also rented linens in a large range of colors, votives, easels, and arbors and we took advantage of that convenience. I used Mary Jo for my October wedding, and she was fabulous from start to finish. She spent a lot of time making sure she understood my vision, but also made sure I was thoughtful and provided a lot of guidance through her expertise in floral arrangements. Fortunately, she was also familiar with my venue and was able to give specific guidance of what would work well there. When she gave me a proposal, the cost was higher than I was expecting, but she made time to sit and work with me to get the cost down without sacrificing elegance. Overall, I was very pleased with all the decorations on our special day and would definitely recommend her to anyone.

My husband and I are creative people and wanted to DIY as much as we could for our wedding. When I discovered Gloriosa's DIY portion of her services, I was thrilled! When we met with Mary Jo, she explained to us all her services. She doesn't want to just provide floral needs, but wants your whole event to have a cohesive flow. So we also rented lighting from her in addition to our flowers. She worked with us knowing our budget was tight, and in the end, all the flowers, including the flowers she provided for our DIY portion were perfect. With communication she is a little hard to reach via email, but always prompt with phone calls.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Gloriosa for anyone looking for a florist.

She also gave me her opinion of what worked well together and what didn't as well as ways to save money by choosing similar flowers that were less expensive. On the day of the wedding the flowers arrived and were even more beautiful than I could have imagined---they were EXACTLY what I had envisioned. Due to the fact that she is so good at her job it was hard to get in touch with her at times or it took a while to hear back when I emailed her...but as I learned that is something pretty standard in the wedding world since they have so many weddings every week. Gloriosa really took my winter wedding floral ideas to the next level. Each arrangement was unique and beyond what I ever dreamed. Mary Jo knew the vision and look I was trying to achieve and nailed it. She has a gift in designing and coordinating all your wedding themes, explain what you are looking for her and let her do her magic. I was also very impressed with her willingness to work with some of my already acquired items and changing of my plans, she was very flexible in making sure i was sticking to my budget and helping me focus on what my priorities were.

Magical and Calming
Mary Jo created a magical wedding for us! We met with her once and she got our style. We wanted natural, not frilly, and green! She listened to our ideas and exceeded our expectations. AT the last minute, we had to move the ceremony indoors and she quickly made a fantastic backdrop indoors! She also was great a saying "calm down, everything will be okay!"

Look no further for your event florist – you have found her! When I first contacted Mary Jo at Gloriosa for wedding flowers, I had it in mind to do my own centerpieces and have Gloriosa make only bouquets and boutonnieres for our wedding day, but after talking to Mary Jo I decided to hand it over to her. It was so worth it! I didn’t have a lot of details for flowers in mind besides colors, but Mary Jo provided excellent guidance and we came up with an affordable, beautiful plan for the wedding day. I also really appreciated the option to have her and her team pick-up the leftover centerpieces at the end of the night – who wants to worry about that after the party?! Mary Jo you are a truly talented professional. Thank you for helping make our wedding day beautiful and special!

I was blown away by how much Mary Jo was able to pull together for our wedding day on such short notice! I originally thought I would DIY my wedding florals, but I'm so glad that I used Gloriosa instead. Our centerpieces were amazing (and brightened our home for weeks after the wedding!) and the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets were straight out of a magazine. Mary Jo had my vision down to a T!

I would definitely recommend Gloriosa for your floral needs. The flowers are absolutely beautiful and the price is truly hard to beat. I discovered Gloriosa when I attended the Bridal Show in January of last year. When walking through the vendors, her table really stood out with the smell of fresh flowers and gorgeous arrangements, I knew that's who I wanted to fill my venue with! I can say she was the one vendor that gave me exactly I what I asked for! The only down fall is that I had to email several times and go back and forth to ensure everything was correct; but the end result was perfect.

Mary Jo was absolutely wonderful and did an amazing job creating the vision my husband and I dreamed of for our big day! She’s very creative and has a great eye for detail! Everything was absolutely beautiful and better than I ever imagined! A little slow to respond at times, but the outcome was worth it!

Found Gloriosa after another vendor fell through. Mary Jo met with me and husband to be on very short notice. Loved all the flowers for my special day. Many compliments from my guests
