Glenhaven knocked it out of the park! Everything about this group says first class and value for your investment. Nicole was a dream to work with so accommodating and helpful. She helped Sarah and Javin through the process and even made some good suggestions for additional items we didn't think about but made the evening a smashing success. I can't tell you how many comments we had about the beautiful venue and the wonderful staff. Thank you again!

Our experience at Glenhaven was top notch. From the first meeting with someone from their team to view the venue and go over packages, to meeting with the owner and event planner, we were constantly impressed. You truly get a great value at this venue for an affordable price. The fact that it’s all inclusive is hard to beat because it took so much of the stress and hassle out of wedding planning! The venue is beautiful and their outdoor ceremony area really makes the venue. They’ve done recent upgrades which has been great and definitely added to the venue as well. Nicole, the day of coordinator/event planner is phenomenal at what she does and the day went incredibly smooth! Everything at this venue is so thought out and you can tell the staff, and the owner George, really care about the venue and what they offer their couples! Glenhaven is a must check out if you are planning a wedding! -

We had a fall wedding at Glenhaven with an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. The setting was beautiful and our experience was more than we expected. Nicole, our day-of coordinator, worked with us diligently for over a year leading up to our big day to make sure everything was moving along with planning and that we had all of the details just as we wanted them.
George, the owner, was gracious and flexible with payment plans, which made our dream wedding something that was actually within reach! Having the venue, DJ, catering, linens, transportation, security, photography and more all in one invoice with flexible billing turned out to be a godsend.
DJ Ryan was the BEST! He played all of the songs we curated and added in songs to fill time to keep our guests moving on the dance floor. His emcee skills and attention to detail with lighting and effects was phenomenal.
We can't say enough good things about Glenhaven as a wedding venue, but also about the people behind the scenes. Trustworthy, professional, experts. -

Our wedding reception at Glenhaven Events was nothing short of magical! The venue itself is breathtaking, equipped with amazing lights, a state-of-the-art sound system, and spectacular effects like steam and smoke bubbles that absolutely wowed our guests. Every corner of the place had something special, making it a perfect backdrop for our celebration.
The entire Glenhaven team went above and beyond to ensure our day was unforgettable. The photographers, videographer, and wait staff were not only incredibly professional but also genuinely kind and attentive, making us feel completely at ease. A special thanks to Nicole, our coordinator, who was super responsive and incredibly easy to work with throughout the planning process. She made sure every detail was handled flawlessly.
And, of course, a huge shoutout to DJ Ryan, who was fantastic! He listened to our preferences, kept the volume just right, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. His upbeat personality and great music choices kept the dance floor lively all night long.

Glenhaven Events was truly the greatest venue we could have ever booked for our wedding. We not only had the best most smooth day but the most smooth and stress free planning leading up to the event. Nicole was absolutely fantastic to work with and we cannot speak enough amazing words about working with her. She was always quick to respond, respectful, and supportive of everything we wanted for the day of. She took the dream and made it come to life! She answered every question with ease and came the day of the wedding, we did not have to worry about anything. I feel like there is always stress of how everything is going to get done the day of and we did not have to worry about a thing. Their planning process deserves a gold medal. Glenhaven prides themselves on being an all inclusive venue and they knocked that out of the park. Chairs, tables, linens, and decor we rented was all set up by the time we got to the venue at 8am. They helped with clean up as well of decor we had brought in which helped take the stress of the night away. We cannot recommend them enough to anyone getting married. The venue is absolutely gorgeous as well and we received so many complements on it. We had DJ Ryan as well and he truly showed the life of the party. The process of planning a playlist is stressful but he made it a breeze. He fed off of the crowd as well all night and played exactly what the crowd wanted to hear. A dance floor to remember! We are just truly grateful to the entire staff of Glenhaven and cannot thank them enough for our best day ever. Also another shoutout to Briannos Catering. Their food was amazing and we got so many complements. Clearly, not enough great things to say. You will have the best of and most stress free of days with Glenhaven Events. -

Glenhaven is a truly wonderful venue. After witnessing other weddings, and my sisters right before mine I can say for sure this is exactly the kind of place you should be looking for. A wedding should be a great party for you and your family, and it really helps when you can put as little of your own effort on your big day as possible. Everyone was experienced and knowledgeable in all things wedding. They provided so many great ideas and feedback. Which honestly, if you're a first time bride you are probably not going to think of these things. Especially if you're not the social party type. They can provide almost every service you need.
Glenhaven was very budget friendly for me. I was able to pick a date in the off season on the cheapest day (a Sunday lol) and I only had about 60 guests. They were kind enough to help me reduce costs wherever possible. Enabling me to add on to more important areas. Very kind, you really get the sense that they enjoy more then just business but making happy weddings happen. They had great spaces for getting ready for both ladies and gents. A private arcade going on in the basement for your bridal party to enjoy after getting ready or waiting for their turn. lol
Nicole was so on top of everything, the entire event was smooth sailing. Glenhaven was both beautiful inside and outside. We had planned for a outdoor ceremony but because of rain we had to move it indoors. Nicole did such a great job taking all the worry off of me as a bride. Sherry did such wonderful work decorating the tables. She was able to last moment provide additional decor upon request to enhance the now indoor ceremony. Best of all draping and lights are just a part of the venue. If you are looking at vendors you know what I'm talking about... You get to keep your arm and your leg... The food was excellent Brianno's did a great job. They even provide a tasting event to make sure you pick exactly what you'd love. It wasn't private, which was actually pretty great because you got to try almost everything they had to offer and it was buffet style. Nice. After reading the menu and actually testing the food our choices did change. DJ Ryan was so much fun. If you want people to have a blast after dinner an experienced DJ who has a great setup is a must. The venue was well equipped will all the gear he needed for a fabulous party. Speakers, lights, smoke and bubbles! Danielle was a great photographer too! So thorough in capturing every moment, creative and experienced. She was well equipped to tackle every moment not just through the lens. She's had props for special photos and is even so caring as to provide her brides with a emergency kit she put together herself (boob tape and spray deodorant was very appreciated and needed! lol).
There is so much I can say about how great of a experience I had there's not enough words. They are defiantly worth the chance that they can make your event just as magical. -

Our daughters wedding was held at Glenhaven Events and we were so pleased with everything! The facilities (indoor and outdoor) are beautiful and well maintained. Nicole, our event coordinator, and all the staff were amazing. The vendors that worked with us through Glenhaven also provided excellent service. We would definitely recommend Glenhaven! -

Beautiful, Stunning, Unforgettable
100/10 stars. Everyone loved the food, music, very spacious for those who wanted more room. Shoutout to our amazing day of coordinator Cathy Coffey and to the amazing George Maverick who run the Glenhaven Events. Anthony Thielhorn and I just wanted to thank you so much for all of your help coordinating the wedding! Everything went amazingly well that day and I cannot express how appreciative we are for everything that you guys did for us! You have a hard job and you both do it very well! We appreciate your help in creating unforgettable moments that will last a lifetime. I will be sure to recommend you to others in the future.

Everything was absolutely PERFECT and your staff was amazing! They went above and beyond to make the day fabulous! They were constantly there all day for us and handled every detail flawlessly!
I can not say enough good things about the wedding coordinator Kathy! She was so sweet and helpful and ran that wedding so smoothly. She's a superstar!
Glenhaven looked fantastic and the ceremony area outside was beautiful.
The food was so delicious! People were raving about how good it all was. I had multiple guests ask me where the food was from and they said they can't wait to go check out Brianno's.
The DJ was so fun and had people on the dance floor until the very last song!
The bartenders were awesome and as soon as they saw me walking towards the bar they'd have my drink all ready for me!
When we started wedding planning 18 months ago, who would have thought we'd be faced with a pandemic! You made all the planning during what could have been a very stressful time even without a pandemic so fun and stress free! I'm literally in awe how easy you made everything for us, even while I'm sure you had so much extra work and details to work out with
being in compliance with Covid restrictions. You were so good at being in contact with us and letting us know what was going on and keeping us laughing with your hilarious emails! It was just what we needed when everything was so up in the air.
I will never be able to say enough how incredible Glenhaven was! Perfect and incredible don't seem like good enough adjectives to describe the wedding day!
Thank you so much, George!! I can't wait to recommend Glenhaven to every single person I know! I don't think anyone does weddings better than you!

What can I say other than our wedding was the wedding of our dreams, if not better. It’s all thanks to this gorgeous venue and the amazing staff! The entire process of working with Glenhaven and Fab Weddings was a breeze from the beginning to the end. Everyone told me that wedding planning was really stressful and a lot of work, but this team made it so easy for me. Every one of the vendors was professional, responded quickly, followed up without prompting, and super friendly! So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and said it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to! We were lucky to get a nice 75 degree and sunny day in April, so we were able to get married outside in the garden. The ceremony was gorgeous and the garden is the perfect back drop for pictures. Our officiant Matt Iverson was perfect for me and my husband. He was funny and light hearted. The event coordinator Christine Corning did great at keeping us on track, so we didn’t have to worry about it. The entire day ran like clockwork! That was probably the best part for me. Another huge plus is that we didn’t have to set up or take down anything. We were able to just step back and relax and enjoy the day. Our DJ Steve Macke was amazing! He really felt the room and kept the dance floor filled all night. Food was delicious and the cake from Sweet Kneads in Farmington was fantastic. Karen Zinger did our decorations and they were better than I could have ever dreamed. She got every detail right and I received so many compliments! Our flowers from Rosemount floral were beautiful. I don’t know much about flowers, but Michelle helped me pick perfect ones. They were delivered in the morning and they lasted all day! I loved how they turned out. Our photographer Joan Brochman and videographer Dan Riggs worked so well with my giant bridal party and made it really fun. I could go on and on about how wonderful it was. Working with the owner, George Maverick, and his entire team really made our wedding the best day ever. -

Our family has used two of George’s venues for weddings, one in Lakeville, and one at Glenhave. We also hosted a benefit at Glenhaven for our two year old nephew battling leukemia. For the weddings, George and Team executed beautiful ceremonies. After just the first wedding he became a family friend. He suggested we use this space for a benefit to support our nephew, the same venue to which my nephew’s Mom and Dad would be married in three months later. It was spectacular working with George on this, and our family is in great debt to Fab Weddings for providing beautiful accommodations and support. I highly recommend supporting this small local business, their heart knows no barriers, and they have beautiful venues and vendors. We loved the DJ and Catering options, and the new downstairs is epic. -

Exactly What We Were Looking For!
My wife and I were married at Glenhaven Events in Farmington, MN on 11.24.18. Our experience we had echoed all of those who we we spoke with, which were either married at Glenhaven or another Fab Weddings location.
George, Andrea, and Christine were awesome to work worth. From our initial visit of the venue to our wedding day they were involved every step of the way. Whenever we had questions about decorations or how a certain aspect would work they were very prompt in their response with an answer or recommendation. These days with all the options you have available to you with getting married, for us personally, we chose the place that we knew would provide the experience, not just the best price (although hard to beat their packages), and Glenhaven/Fab Weddings were the ones who provided that for us.
George's expertise and experience was invaluable, whether he was helping us with our timeline or making recommendations on day-of events, he was a great collaborator while still allowing us to bring our vision of our big day to the venue.
On our big day, Christine and her staff were on point with timing, setting up, tare down, and making sure our vision came true. Even with us throwing them some curveballs at them the staff was excellent and their ability to quickly convert the room from the ceremony to dinner was painless. After looking back on our wedding day, the only minor recommendation we have is although the staff was very attentive it would be nice to have a staff member dedicated to the bride and groom/head table/wedding party to help assist with drink service. Your wedding day is very busy and at times very hard to be able to slip away to get something to drink. This would be very helpful to the those individuals and a very nice touch in the future. Again, this is a very minor detail in the grand scheme of things and in no way took away from how excellent our service was.
The food was amazing, we number of compliments we received on dinner was just another tip of the cap to Brianno's and their already very well established catering reputation. We chose the pasta bar and would do it again if we had to go back and make this decision. We also used Farmington Bakery for our dessert and their staff was awesome as well. They made a custom s'mores bar that was a huge hit, so much so that we weren't even able to get our hands on one the night of, which is a good thing! But we did have our amazing two-tier cake that was delicious! Their staff was so great that once we told them how huge of a hit the s'mores bars were and that we didn't get any, they made a small batch for us to have at home, so thank you!
Cue DJ Steve, he got the place rocking right from the get go and kept it going all night. He was super easy to work with and great at playing to the crowd throughout the night. Even with the multiple special requests we made of him, the presentations he did, and a last minute arrival of Nordy from the MN Wild he adapted on the fly for all of it and helped make our day amazing.
To sum this all up, we definitely recommend you check out Fab Weddings for your big day. Their friendly staff, complete wedding day solutions, beautiful venues, day-of experience, and expertise of the industry they are a must-have partner on your wedding day!

Katie Sent on 09/21/2018Seriously, where do I begin?! Glenhaven was the one and only place my husband and I toured when we got engaged and right when we stepped into the venue, we knew this was it. George and his staff are truly top notch. I can say with 100% honesty that our day was perfect because of them.
The venue is gorgeous and hardly needs any decorations at all. The garden in the back is beautiful. They were very open to us using our own vendors or theirs if needed. And they are very open about you adding and subtracting things to your wedding package. George keeps very good track of your expenses in a spreadsheet (we actually ended up over paying because our guest list ended up being smaller than expect. So George sent us a check in the mail with the balance that we over paid. You can trust that George has your best interest at heart).
We used the salon/arcade room for the morning and I HIGHLY recommend. The salon is absolutely gorgeous and my party had the best time. The men (and women once were ready) were able to play the games while we waited for the ceremony which was awesome. Everyone had such a good time!
We wanted a light/humorous ceremony and decided we wanted George as the officiant. He was accommodating to what we wanted and we received many compliments from our guest on how great/funny he was.
The after party I think is what sets Glenhaven apart from others. They had a bubble and fog machine for our first dance. And the lighting in the venue is terrific! As the bride, I walked down the spiral staircase with the spotlight which was very unique and something I’ve never seen before. George provided us with DJ Ryan who was the best! He was very accommodating and played song requests all night.
I could write pages and pages on how perfect our wedding day was, but reach out to George and take a tour of Glenhaven yourself. You will not be disappointed. Thank you again George! We are forever grateful for the experience you provided to us and our guests.

I had a sister who had both knees replaced and when it came time to eat one if the staff approached my sister and brought her a plate of food on her own. I had a few people express interest in using the venue for their upcoming weddings. George did an amazing job officiating, the salon was perfect for getting ready in. To give Glenhaven and George and his staff less than 5 stars is an injustice. It’s a beautiful special little hidden secret out in farmington!

Our daughter’s (Jenny and Matt, Feb 17, 2018) wedding was 1000 miles from home for us and when we arrived everything that had been agreed upon was exactly what we had expected and hoped for. It really made for a magical and nearly stress-free event that we will never forget. Christine was over the top helpful, kind and organized. The DJ, Ryan, was very professional and excellent, the food was great. The bar hosting service was outstanding. Communication up to, and after the wedding was fantastic. The staff were very responsive, and flexible, even in August 2015, while they finished the remodeling of this venue. I saw this new advertizement 2.5 years later, and can vouch in person it is a breathtaking location... just like these photos show!

My now-husband and I got married in September of 2025 at Glenhaven Events in Farmington, MN and were very pleased with our experience with Fab! Weddings. The “all inclusive” aspect made planning our wedding from out of state much easier. We appreciated the option to rent centerpieces as it saved us tons of space in our home and time transporting them. We met up in person with members of the Fab! Weddings team only 2-3 times total during the year of planning, and the rest of communication was handled via e-mail. The staff (especially Nicole) demonstrated their commitment to their clientele in responding to emails at all hours of the day and night; we would typically hear back within 24 hours whenever we had a question or concern. Fab! Weddings recommended to us a photographer, videographer, and DJ who had all worked at weddings at Glenhaven Events in the past, reassuring us that that lighting, backdrops, sound specifics, and the flow of the night would be familiar to all the vendors. The rehearsal was quick, and Nicole did not miss a beat when we decided during the rehearsal that we wanted to change the processional order and the recessional method of exiting and scrap our receiving line; she was instrumental in helping our vision come to life. When it suddenly started raining on our wedding day, the team seamlessly transitioned to our indoor backup plan. Additionally, the spacious arcade basement and well-lit bridal suite provided a comfortable space in which to spend the morning. We are very satisfied with our experience with Fab! Weddings and would highly recommend this venue to other couples exploring venue options.
