Gorgeous Dream Venue, Flexible Options for Multi-cultural Weddings!

BOOK this venue!!! If you are dreaming of a European intimate estate at Georgia rates that has outdoor options galore (including a rain solution that is a beautiful pavilion) + flexibility around where to have your cocktail hour and an ability to accommodate ethnic / multi-cultural cuisine + a ballroom that literally looks like it's from Beauty and the Beast, Glendalough will be your dream venue.

Advantages:
-Giant parking lot for shuttles and cars
-Giant bridal suite
-Everything is real, not sterile hotel vibes - you will need less flowers because the entire villa has trees, flowers, trellises
-Out of town guests ~30minutes from airport and 40 minutes from ATL proper
-Great restaurants and plenty of hotels (Hiltons, Hamptons, nearby)
-AMY is awesome, responsive, fair, and no nonsense, which you will appreciate in the planning process

Our experience with Glendalough was fantastic. The photos from our wedding day insane (some look like we are in a forest for our First Look) and all our guests were like this is a special place. Our only issue is that we were a little bit confused how the rates and catering broke down for our arrangement but we also were so grateful that they negotiated a way for us to bring in outside catering for our HINJEW (yes Indian and Jewish) wedding that had food complexities. The Glendalough kitchen appetizers were DELICIOUS (coconut chicken bites!) and we got compliments on how big the dance floor was and the space for a Baarat as well for my Indian brides. We somehow got so lucky and no rain but even if we did, we knew there would be a gorgeous covered pavilion we could utilize. We are so glad our planner found this venue and will post photos once we get them!

Absolutely magical

This was probably the best venue I could have had for our wedding (compared to stories from friends and their venues), the price is amazing for what is offered, courtni and everyone else were absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding went perfectly it was literally the wedding of our dreams. We had them cater as well and the price for that was really good, not to mention the food was delicious! I would highly recommend!

Burrus/Germany Wedding

The wedding experience was amazing . The staff the day of the wedding were remarkable and responsive as as well as professional. Our work with Amy prior to the wedding was great and she was always very responsive. Everyone enjoyed the venue and the service staff were awesome. This venue also worked very well with other vendors. Great job Glendalough Manor!!!

Dream wedding

Glendalough manor was the first place my family and I looked at when searching for a wedding venue. We didn’t have much time until the wedding so we went ahead and booked it because we fell in love with the scenery. This place is absolutely beautiful and had everything I wanted! The ladies we worked with were amazing and knew exactly what they were doing. They had the wedding scheduled by the minute so everything would flow nicely and we wouldn’t be rushing or stressing out. They really made us feel like we were all family. There was absolutely nothing about my wedding day that I did not like. I recommend this venue to anyone and a special shout-out to Jena for helping make my day perfect !

Perfect venue

This was the perfect venue for a baby shower I hosted for over 100 guest. This venue sells itself. The staff was very professional from the start and pleasant the entire time. Although it was a baby shower I had several guest say they felt like they were at a wedding reception. You can’t go wrong having an event at this venue.

Beautiful from Beginning to End!

I had visited several venues prior to almost literally stumbling upon Glendalough one Sunday, and I could only pray it was available: it was and it was below budget! From the price of a full service venue, to the options included in the price, to the absolutely gorgeous facility, we consider it a true blessing to have found this venue! Aimee was perfect in getting everything started and Jena's professional approach ensured everything was executed seamlessly. The venue... I'm still getting compliments from friends and family and I provided minimum decorations - the essentials were included! Our ceremony was outdoors while the reception was inside: simply perfect! We also had autonomy in our selection of vendors which only made it more special. Highly recommended!

Excellent venue and staff

Loved working with Jenna and staff! They were very easy to work with and went above and beyond my expectations. I also loved that they had a backup option so rain or shine the wedding is on with an indoor option for the ceremony in case of rain. The food was great and everyone enjoyed the quesadilla and coconut chicken as the appetizers. Also, the venue helped me locate other vendors through their preferred vendors list instead of me having to find my own vendors. I would highly recommend this place to other brides!

Wonderful Experience with Glendalough Manor

The entire team at Glendalough Manor helped provide guidance as we planned our wedding. The ceremony and reception were lovely and went off without a hitch. The scenery for the ceremony was colorful and the reception hall was excellent for our wedding reception. Would definitely recommend Glendalough Manor for a wedding or any event.

Couldn't be happier!

We first booked Glendalough in January 2019 for our wedding in June 2020—of course, we ended up postponing a full year for pandemic reasons. That meant we ended up working with Glendalough—and Jena, the venue coordinator, in particular—for two and a half years. They were extremely understanding and accommodating when we decided to postpone our wedding. Jena so kindly responded to my every question over that timeframe. She definitely prioritized responding to my emails as our date neared (as was specified in the contract), which was a huge relief. I will also add that, on the day of the wedding, she was an incredible advocate and resource for me as the bride. She was very organized and made sure I had water and snacks as needed, time and space to breathe and cool down, and making sure I was able to scurry away from view when guests started arriving while we were finishing pictures before the ceremony. Aside from the people, the venue itself is truly beautiful. We got non-stop compliments on how pretty everything was. We didn’t do any added decorating (aside from very simple centerpieces on the table). We relied entirely on the natural beauty of the outdoor space, which is unmatched. The ballrooms inside are also already so nice that they really don’t need much if you aren’t looking to do much decorating. We also used both the bride & groom getting ready spaces upstairs. The bridal suite (Molly’s Place) was the perfect little retreat for the bridesmaids to do our finishing touches and as a holding space for us, especially considering how hot it was outside. I will also add that the way Glendalough works with preferred vendors took a lot of the planning logistics off us, and since we didn’t use a wedding planner, it made a huge difference for bringing the whole event together. Jena very reliably managed all the preferred vendors. The food was good—we got compliments from several of our guests—but it wasn’t the highlight for us. There were small imperfections that came up, as is likely the case anywhere. But if you want a venue that will wow your guests, while also working with a team you can trust will give you peace of mind, I cannot recommend Glendalough enough.

Fantastic! Organized, friendly, and beautiful grounds!

Glendalough was the PERFECT wedding venue for us! They were so helpful with the planning that we didn’t even need a wedding planner, and every part of the wedding went smoothly! The beautiful indoor ballroom and outdoor garden were perfect for what we were looking for, and I’d gladly recommend them for anyone’s wedding.

Detail-oriented team made my day magical!

First, the ceremony space is absolutely beautiful! I felt so elegant from the moment I walked down the aisle! I never wanted an outdoor wedding until I toured Glendalough. The team is amazing, very responsive and took so much stress off of the planning process. I planned the entire wedding myself, and Jena and team were there to answer my questions and provide the reassurance that I wasn't forgetting any of the details. Our guest raved about the food, which we knew from the tasting was delicious, and the drinks! So glad that I chose Glendalough for our wedding and can't thank the team enough for everything!

Our wedding was amazing. The staff were great.

Our wedding at Glendalough Manor was fabulous. The Pergola was beautiful with everything in bloom. The staff were amazing, especially Amy, Jenna, Gabriella, James and Christina. They walked us through every step of the process, making our wedding a day to remember. The food was delicious and the Chef was accommodating to special dietary needs. Beautiful Garden Ceremony

If you're looking for a garden ceremony with an elegant reception afterwards, look no further. Glendalough Manor offers beautiful garden landscapes and the manor itself is gorgeous. It has a spacious bridal suite and the bar is stunning. All of your guests will love it, too. The in-house chef does not disappoint either. The food tasting was a very enjoyable and delicious experience. You'll have a hard time deciding on which delicious entrée to pick. Jena and her team will make sure your wedding day is executed flawlessly. I loved having my wedding there!

Best Choice!!

Glendalough was amazing and the staff was everything I could have asked for. They were with me every step of the way. Very easy to use portal, not overpriced, and only about 20 minutes from the Atlanta airport. My wedding was beautiful thanks to them!

My Wedding

Even during the pandemic I was able to have the wedding of my dreams! We decided to postpone our reception as many of our loved ones could not attend the ceremony and the lovely coordinators at Glendalough Manor have been very accommodating! I highly recommend this venue!

Amazing! When all seemed lost, they had our backs!!

As our wedding coordinator, Jena was always there to assist us with whatever we needed during the stressful wedding planning. Our wedding took place at the beginning of quarantine and we were in a panic as we were losing more guests every day. Glendalough Manor had our backs from the beginning. They remained open for us despite the massive shutdown happening everywhere else. They gave us several upgrades and enforced additional cleanliness to make our guests feel safe and cared for. I am so so grateful for their ability to adapt and accommodate for us in the unusual circumstance we found ourselves in. I would highly recommend this beautiful, family-owned venue who went above and beyond so we could have our amazing day!!

Beautiful Manor

Our experience with Glendalough Manor was exceptional! When my husband and I started our search for a place to have our wedding, Glendalough Manor was our 3rd stop. We of course wanted to find the best place for us and our budget. As we arrived we noted the warm greeting, from each introduction as we got started with our tour, which was great. The clearly exceptional part was our coordinator, Ms. Amy was not only interested in our plans but also truly interested in our story. After sharing our story, we could feel her passion, and she was clearly happy to learn of our experience. She went on to share related insights which created a high level of comfort with her, the process and the journey ahead. Frankly at that point, we knew we wanted to have our wedding there. As we went on to learn more of the details we were not only clear on the expectations and requirements, but we were delighted to learn it all was within our budget! Of course, a projection is just that, however it turned out to be spot on and we couldn’t be happier. I’m ahead of myself, in not sharing first our wedding was Fantastic, from start to finish. The grounds are stunning and designed just for weddings. Our wedding was in November, and Glendalough Manor was ready to create our dream of an outdoor wedding or indoors if needed depending on the weather. As it turns out, after 3 days of rain and cold weather before our wedding day, the weather changed and our day was a beautiful sun shiny day! Thank you God and thank you Ms. Amy and Jena at Glendalough Manor for an experience of a lifetime.

OMG....Amazing Time! Everything we could have asked and more!!

I don’t think words can express just how very happy we were with our wedding day experience with Glendalough. Jena and the staff were more than accommodating for everything we could have asked for and more!

They truly know exactly what they are doing and for me being a type A ,hands on bride I truly appreciated it!

The unexpected rain happened but they were more than prepared to make the day go on without any issues.

The guests loved the food and drinks!! Worth every penny!!

Hit the EASY button!

I'm the MOB. I fell in love with this venue before I stepped on the property. I fell in love with it more after the tour, and meeting Amy. I told them I had more venues to check out, but I didnt. I had made up my mind. This wedding was for my only child, only daughter. It had to be done right!

The staff of Glendalough Manor made the process so easy! (Hit the EASY button) Always smiling, always pleasant! Always had a fix for any issues. (Hit the EASY button) Jena was calming during the meetings and on the wedding day. I was confident in her.

I was completely relaxed and laid back on special day because it was a wedding, not a funeral, and these ladies had it all under control! If I had to plan another wedding I would do it right here at Glendalough Manor, but someone else would have to pay for it! 😂

The Glendalough Manor' Magical Touch

Glendalough Manor was a wonderful location to have our wedding. We had our wedding in October of 2018 and the venue worked with us from the beginning to set up everything and ensure that we had everything in place for that perfect day. They were extremely nice and patient with us as we were putting the wedding together in about 3-4 months time after the initial proposal of marriage. The day was perfect and not a single detail was missed. The price was great and the people were great. Lovely venue and would definitely recommend them to others for their wedding and for anniversary weddings ^_^. Thanks to the wonderful employees at Glendalough for everything!

Amazing All-In-One Venue

I could not have asked for a better wedding venue than Glendalough Manor. When you drive up to the venue, walk around the gardens and enter the building, you just know that you are in the right place. From my first visit to tour the venue, to working through the planning process, to our amazing wedding day, the staff at Glendalough Manor was there every step of the way. Each staff member that I worked with was responsive and had one common goal in mind, ensuring that we had the best wedding experience ever. I can't say enough about Jenna (she is the best), Barbie (my awesome day of coordinator), Amy and all of the other staff members. Glendalough Manor and their phenomenal selection of vendors (I used Ciao Bella Weddings for my BEAUTIFUL flowers and Cutie Pies & Cakes for my DELICIOUS wedding cake) made everything planning wise go so smoothly and turned my wedding day into a dream come true. Everyone was able to help me achieve my vision while being mindful of my budget. The food options at Glendalough Manor were delicious and the bar did not disappoint with our signature drink. My family and guests could not stop raving about the beautiful venue, the food and drinks and, more importantly, the staff and service provided. If you are looking for a one stop, all-in-one venue, know that Glendalough Manor does it all and does it well. I truly enjoyed my experience working with and having my wedding at Glendalough Manor.

My Dream Wedding

Our wedding at Glendalough Manor was absolutely beautiful. The staff was always available when needed and didn't let any details slip through the cracks. Our ceremony was outside and in late November but they made sure that all the flowers were freshly planted and in bloom just for our day. Also, Sarah and Courtini were wonderful day of planners. They executed everything perfectly and made sure the event ran smoothly. Thank you all so much!

I had my ceremony and reception here and it was amazing! Amy, Jena, Sara, and Courtni are just a few people I can think of off the top of my head that just went above and beyond making sure every part of my wedding was executed perfectly! Glendalough provides you with a list of their top vendors and you can even set up meetings at Glendalough with the vendors which was super convenient. They have catering in-house which usually you think of wedding food as not so great, but their food is excellent! They have an amazing bar. The venue is gorgeous! I had my ceremony outside under the pergola with all of the beautiful flowers. My reception was inside in the Wicklow ballroom which has a huge dance floor and plenty of space! The decorations are gorgeous! My guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the space was and how amazing the food was! I was never stressed at all planning my wedding because they have all the resources there that you could ever need! I recommend this venue to anyone that doesn’t want to be stressed out planning their wedding because I cannot thank Glendalough enough for making my dream wedding so stress free and easy!

Everyone at Glendalough was fantastic to work with! Jena was extremely responsive along the way, working with us on all the details. Sarah and Courtney did a great job handling the ceremony, and our Event Director made the reception run very smoothly. One of my biggest criteria was selecting a venue that would handle all the day-of details so it would be low stress for me - they absolutely delivered. I did not worry about ANYTHING from the second i arrived until we made our departure! The grounds are beautiful, the ballrooms are gorgeous and the food was AMAZING! Luckily for us, there was not another wedding on our day so we did not experience having an overlap in weddings and other guests in the bar area. The bar is gorgeous also - I would have preferred having the bar right in the ballroom so that guests were centralized in one area; however, i think some of our guests enjoyed being able to hang out in the bar area. Overall, Glendalough Manor was the perfect choice of venue - and is a superb value for the money!

From Day 1, Glendalough has been my venue of choice! This venue allows you to express your own individual style and is not the cookie-cutter event venue that leaves little room to show your own individuality.

It didn't hurt that the staff was accommodating and prompt. I enjoyed working with Jena and Amy. They responded to my emails throughout the process. Also, the day of wedding planners were friendly and structured.

Now on to the venue. Everyone had wonderful things to say about the outdoor ceremony setup. It truly lends itself to little (or no) decoration, with beautiful blossoms and a pristine lake in the background!

The reception area was breathtaking! Glendalough did an excellent job setting it up just as I envisioned. It was themed a
"Royal affair", and they made me (and my husband) feel like royalty!

I am SO HAPPY that Glendalough Manor was our wedding venue. There is an awesome team of people there to support you from choosing vendors through coordinating your big day. The grounds and ballrooms are beautiful, and the food is delicious! The wedding reception here went incredibly smoothly, and my guests are still raving about it. I'd recommend this venue to anyone.

Words can't express the gratitude I feel after having our wedding at Glendalough! I viewed many venues after my fiancé Clarence proposed to me in August of 2016. When I arrived at Glendalough and met Amy, I knew this place was going to be magical! Jena and Pennie are heaven sent! I'm a very particular bride and anything I suggested or wanted to change was met with understanding and flexibility from this team. I can't thank you all enough! My guests are still ranting and raving about how beautiful the property grounds are, how great the food was and how good the drinks were. My guests had an amazing time and that's satisfying to any bride! Jena, thank you for suggesting Pastor Murkison as our officiant. We did our pre-martial counseling through them and we absolutely enjoyed every minute of it! Pennie, thank you for allowing me to be me and accepting my last minute changes with no hesitation.

Future brides: please listen to me when I say if you are looking for a wedding venue on the south side of Atlanta, Glendalough is it! You will not and I repeat "will not" be disappointed. These ladies run a tight ship and because of that, it takes a lot of stress off the bride in regards to planning. Their preferred vendors are amazing as well. For florals, I went with Ciao Bella Weddings. Nikki, the owner, she gets it! She did a fantastic job on our room design and brought my vision to life! Kate, from Blackbird Photography, was a pleasure to work with. If you want specific looks/poses, just email her some samples of what you're looking for and she'll execute your photo visions to a tee! October 6, 2017 was THE BEST day of my life and this is all because of the way I was treated by this lovely staff! I wish Amy, Jena and Pennie much success in the future and I'll never forget you all. Thank you!

I want to give this place 10 stars! I can't say enough good things about Glendalough Manor. From the day we toured the grounds with Amy we were sold. They are so extremely organized and will work with you on absolutely anything. First, the grounds themselves are beautiful, almost like a secret garden hidden behind a beautiful manor. You don't even need ceremony decor, their outdoor pergola and grounds crew keep the place so beautiful. Second, working with Pennie was an absolute treat. They treat you like one of the family and are so accommodating. Everything is on a pretty strict schedule but they've learned this is the best way to keep the show moving and it's absolutely true. We stuck roughly to the schedule and had plenty of time to mingle with our guests. If I could do it all over again I would without a doubt choose this venue and the team we worked with. My only regret is that our reception wasn't longer so that we could spend even more time with family and friends and that I won't be on a weekly chatting basis with Pennie anymore. I will recommend this place to everyone I can, 10 out of 5 stars!!!

Where do I start when it comes to reviewing the Glendalough Manor? I guess I will start with Day 1!! The service provided at Glendalough Manor was impeccable from the sales presentation all the way to the big day. Everything needed was easy to access and readily available anytime that you needed. You are provided a wedding coordinator, a wedding director, and an event director all for FREE!! You seriously become family with everyone on Day 1. If you need anything they are on top of it and will even bring up recommended vendors if they are not on their preferred vendor list. They have even made a very user friendly wedding portal that makes it easy to view all of your vendor quotes, banquet event orders, and payment schedule to the Manor. No need for superfluous deposits to several vendors. They take care of all that and you just pay the Manor.
THE BIG DAY: My wedding was absolutely AMAZING from begging to end! Penny, Emily, Sarah, and James ensured that I had a stress-free day. They go above to not only accommodate you, but all of your friends and family as you prepare to walk down the aisle. Even shots to calm your nerves as things become a reality. ;). I can not say enough great thing about the service throughout the entire day. Now, on to the ceremony. As another reviewer noted, the ceremony was run like a well-oiled machine. This is totally true and precise. The ceremony is ran very well with no hiccups or anything. It was a ceremony for two kings and we loved every minute. We were very blessed to be the only wedding on our big day, so we had exclusive use to the atrium as well for cocktail hour. This allowed us to decorate everything in the atrium to our Harlem Renaissance theme. Pass horsd'ouevres to the passed signature cocktails passed during the cocktail hour in the atrium blew my guests away. Then the doors to the reception were open. And that is all she wrote!! The reception decor was perfect, elegant, and first class. You can't go wrong with them!

I am the MOB. This venue is simply beautiful and very well managed down to the smallest detail. We booked our date over a year in advance and we were so glad we did. The Ceremony is held outside and the grounds are so well kept you don’t need to add many floral pieces at all. The reception is held inside the “Manor” which is also very beautiful.
In addition, their business model is truly a major stress reducer…it is one stop shopping; you select the vendors you want, add their costs into the bill, and pay Glendalogh monthly up to one month before the wedding…Glendalough pays the vendors and coordinate any changes if needed.
The entire staff was great and attended to our every need… they were perfect. My daughter, her husband and our families were delighted beyond words. A fairy tale dream wedding I always dreamed of for my daughter. Thank you so much!

Book this venue in advance! We booked over a year out and it was already booking up for prime weekends. This place is so beautiful and the staff is one of a kind. Superb in all ways! We would not have gone in an other direction. They made our wedding so special and as seamless as it could possibly be. The Glendalough staff is professional and are experts in all things wedding. The bar is beautiful (you have to go see this place!) and the food is extremely good! Not many venues can pull off good wedding food for large parties but we had no complaints from our guests and tons of compliments!

I am the MOB. This venue is beyond amazing. There are simply no words. It's one stop shopping and leave NO STRESS on the bride our family to plan and handle anything. The set up meeting with wonderful vendors, you pick the ones you want, the add their costs into your bill, you pay Glendalogh monthly and they pay everyone else. The deal worth all the vendors once you've chosen what you want. The entire staff bends over backwards to make every thing perfect. And PERFECT was what we got. My daughter, her husband and his family were delighted beyond words. Every person here is a dream. Totally the fair tale dream wedding I always dreamed off. I cannot say enough.

I cannot rave about Glendalough Manor enough. The service provided at Glendalough was impeccable. Everything needed was easy to access and readily available: the convenient pay portal made payments a stress free process & the efficiency of the staff made understanding all aspects of my big day uncomplicated.
I found it extremely delightful to have all the necessary resources at my fingertips which made my wedding planning process a breeze.

We are a little late in leaving a review but my husband and I got married May 2016 and we actually booked the venue 2 years before the wedding that's how much in love we were with it. On the actually wedding day and even the months leading up to it we worked with Jena and Pennie and they both were WONDERFUL. I do not have enough words for how amazing they were to us and our families and guests. Advice: pick a place where the vendors support your decisions and help you, and they did exactly that. I would love to hold future events here. They are very accommodating and friendly. You feel like you're home when you book with them, they are not like most venues where it's uptight and they say no to almost anything you like. Thank you guys so much for everything!!!!

When looking to book your event at any place - ask questions about how involved your vendors will be on the day of your event. We were treated like an special invited guest on the day of our event. We literally showed up and enjoyed our day. Our wedding coordinator, Penny did all the work before, during and after our party. Jenna coordinated all the vendors with all of our input, but without the hassles of dealing with multiple people. The day was truly magical!!! The food was amazing, the flowers were absolutely gorgeous, the cake delicious, the DJ fun and the photographer was amazing. All were vendors that Glendalough recommended!!! All in all our wedding was truly a day to remember!

Beautiful venue! I was an out of state bride and the staff made my wedding planning seamless. My day went perfect and I wish I could do it again! The only things I was not thrilled about was the bar outside of the ballroom and the not all the vendors worked for me.

Glendalough Manor was the only place that I checked out for my wedding venue and I fell in love the moment I visited. It is a beautiful location and very easy to get to. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, the team at Glendalough was extremely knowledgeable, professional and easy to work with. I was somewhat of a "hands-off" bride, and wanted a venue that had a list of great vendors, a helpful planning team, etc. I would NOT have been able to execute the beautiful wedding that I had without the help of this wonderful team. All of my guests were very impressed by how smooth the reception and ceremony was. The pictures at Glendalough turned out absolutely beautiful and I would not have changed a thing about my wedding at this wonderful venue. Thank you to the team!!

Glendalough Manor brought my vision of our big day all together. Throughout the entire process leading up to the day I was kept in the loop on everything. The ceremony area is like a fairy tale and my guests were blown away by the beauty of the gardens. The staff was what made everything go off without a hitch. I gave 5 stars because I got 5 star service from the first meeting with Amy to the tasting with Jena and the day of with Penny! Everyone was very attentive and responded quickly. All of my questions were always answered and if their was something wrong the day of the wedding I never knew! I had such a great time and I WILL recommend this venue to everyone! From the moment I walked into the venue, I completely fell in love! At that very moment, I knew that I would choose this venue for my big day. My husband and I got married at Glendalough Manor in May 2016. Everything about our experience was FANTASTIC! The outside garden is beautiful and perfectly manicured! It was my dream to get married outside and the day turned out to be beautiful with nice clear skies. The planning process with Glendalough is so easy! They take you through each step and answer ever question you have. The staff is professional and incredibly organized! Pennie, who handles everything from 30 days out is the best in the business. She stopped at nothing to make sure I was happy, relaxed, and having the best day of my life. The food was very good and the staff as well as bartenders were very attentive. From the time I set foot on the property at glendalough I knew it was exactly where I wanted to get married. Me and my fiancé were amazed at the gardens and the ballrooms at glendalough. But what sold it for us was how all inclusive it was. The wedding coordinators, Pennie and Jena, make sure every detail of your special day is planned out and runs smooth. I planned my wedding while in anesthesia school in Florida and I thought that being so far from the venue would present problems with planning but glendalough handled everything and I just had to show up for the 30 day meeting and the vendor day. Vendor day was great for me because since I didn't live in Georgia, I was able to come and book all my vendors in one day. I love that glendalough does not require you to use their vendors but they give you a list of vendors that they recommend and after meeting with most of them I feel that they all are very affordable.

Our wedding was a wedding out of a fairytale book. Pennie went above and beyond to ensure that our day went smooth. Her assistants also were amazing and helped so much. I was very excited that my mom didn't have to worry about decorating or setting up for the wedding but instead she could get ready and help me get ready in the bridal suite while glendalough did the rest. I am very OCD when it comes to planning and details and I hate delegating to anyone because I want to make sure it gets done right but as soon as I met Pennie I knew that I could tell her anything I wanted and she would make it happen and I didn't have to worry.

Our wedding at Glendalough Manor was more than I could have ever dreamed of. I would recommend it to anyone who wants an affordable stress free wedding!!

Glendalough is a beautiful place but it's the people that make it wonderful. Jena and Pennie were awesome. Jena helped me with all of the planning process and was always responsive to my questions/requests and was always patient with my ever changing decisions. Pennie calmed this stressed bride and helped to make my big day a dream come true. My wedding day was all that I wanted and more.

I absolutely loved Penny, Jenna, and the entire staff at Glendalough Manor! My family and friends were more than impressed by natural beauty and elegance! Our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony and reception was held at Glendalough Manor. Each of these events were beautifully managed. This venue is absolutely gorgeous inside and out!!! I could not ask for a more sophisticated, elegant, fairy tale, "story book look" than what is offered at Glendalough Manor! This venue has a calming essence to match its grandeur and beauty. It "feels" prestigious and glamorous while being safe and enchanting! It was EXACTLY what we were looking for for our wedding.
The process from site tour to booking, to choosing vendors, menu selection, to payment terms, to final event is well coordinated, unprecedented, and flawlessly executed by THE MOST caring, yet professional, women I ever met and I am extremely grateful to have had all of them (Jessica, Jena, Pennie, and Kathy) on our team to make our dream wedding come true! These women made us, all of us, feel like family. They were always kind, patient, and had the time to listen to my ideas, offer suggestions, but most importantly, they worked with us on every single thing, every detail; things that others would not have been willing to work with us on, they did. The difference between Glendalough Manor and other wedding venues that I visited is here at Glendalough, you DO become family, not just a revenue number, and their number 1 goal is to make sure YOU, the BRIDE, is happy, content and satisfied! So long as you remain humble, honest and talk to them like the wonderful human beings that they are, they will treat you with the same respect and do all that they can to make your wedding is everything you want it to be. I am thoroughly satisfied from our experience!! All of our guests said our wedding was THE MOST elegant wedding they have EVER been to! It was downright EPIC and that is largely due to the LOCATION!!!

I had my wedding at Glendalough Manor and could not have imagined a more perfect day! The entire staff at Glendalough Manor is so friendly and extremely willing to help. Their website has an online calculator so you can get an estimate of price before you even meet with them. They are so honest and up front and about EVERYTHING. There really aren't any hidden fees or extra costs. They are very organized and have a schedule down to the minute on your wedding day to make sure everything runs flawlessly!
They have a list of preferred vendors and allow you to come to a meeting called vendor day where you can meet with all of them and choose your vendors. All billing is done through Glendalough Manor if you choose their preferred vendors which makes planning and paying so much easier! They do pretty much everything for you and make sure to cover all the little details that most people would forget.
They have their own catering and the food was delicious! My guests were complimenting the food all night! The DJ was so much fun and kept all the guests on the dance floor the entire night!
The facility is absolutely beautiful--inside and out! I don't think a bad picture can be taken there! I was so impressed with everything about Glendalough Manor! I would definitely recommend this venue for any event!!!

Glendalough Manor provided me my fairy tale wedding! Where to begin... the grounds are beautiful, the staff is wonderful and the service provided was amazing. Pennie and Jena Rocked! Jessica, Heather and every single person on the Glendalough staff, even down to the servers, always had a smile and were willing to help. It's not just a job to them, they truly want to make your special day special and they did. From beginning to end, they made the wedding process and planning easier. Vendor Day is such a great day. Glendalough has a list of preferred vendors and if you choose to use those vendors you can meet all the requested vendors at Glendalough! I used 4 vendors from their preferred list and each one exceeded my expectations. The Glendalough staff are extremely organized and were always on point. They take care of you and as long as you do your part throughout the process, Glendalough can and will make your wedding day perfect. On my wedding day, I repeatedly hugged and told Pennie thank you every time I saw her. Because of Pennie, and the other Glendalough staff, I did not have to worry about anything on my wedding day! I was able to enjoy myself. I highly recommend Glendalough Manor and wouldn't recommend any other place. The gardens where my ceremony was held was beautiful and the inside of the Manor is stunning. So many of my guests complemented the food and how delicious it was and how beautiful the venue was. I truly have nothing negative to say about Glendalough Manor, only praise.

From start to finish the Glendalough Manor was amazing. The grounds are absolutley gorgeous. Jessica, Jeena, Pennie and James are so easy to work with, very organized and know thier jobs very well. The interior of the rooms are very welcoming and comfortable. the food was very good. We felt very special and at home! I highly recommend this Venue!

I absolutely loved everything about working with Glendalough Manor! The staff is incredibly helpful, and kept everything running smoothly. What an amazing wedding venue! Not only is it a beautiful location, but they have a great staff that make your wedding day flawless. The quality of service is unremarkable. Jenna, Jessica and Pennie were so helpful and flexible throughout the whole wedding process. They were able to work with us even though we did not live in GA. They reduced the total stress that comes with planning for a wedding by providing a list of highly recommended vendors and staying in constant communication with us. Almost like they were holding our hands through the whole process.

The wedding day went better than I could have ever imagined! They took care of everything and we were able to enjoy every minute of our wedding day.
All of our guests were impressed by all the staff there and how they made sure that everything went so well. We received tons of compliments about this beautiful venue and the amazing staff that work there. We are beyond thankful and grateful to have them be part of such a significant day of our lives. Could have not done it without them! :)

Glendalough Manor was an amazing venue for our wedding! They were great to work with throughout the entire planning process from the moment we did our site visit with Jessica through execution with Penny. They were flexible and organized with all the details. They coordinated a vendor day where we could meet with a bunch of vendors to figure out who we wanted to use. The wedding day went perfect and I didn't have to worry about anything. The venue is so pretty especially when all the flowers are blooming in the gardens. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants a fairytale wedding. :)

My outdoor ceremony and reception was FABULOUS!!!!! Pennie my wedding coordinator is offically my new BFF. I planned my wedding in five months, and i could not have done it without pennie and jenna and all the staff at glendalough manor. I got so many compliments on the wedding and how well put together it was, and the food was a big rave. As long as you do your part the glendalough manor team really does the rest. Any other party or major event i will have, glendalough manor is definely the place for it.

Wow, this venue us drop dead gorgeous. We loved everything from the staff to the venue to the food and more. Everything was perfect about this venue. The staff was amazing to work with, the venue was stunning, the food was astonishing, the pricing was reasonable, and so much more. I could not imagine a more perfect place to have had our wedding at. I would 110% without doubt recommend the Glendalough Manor to anyone!

You can't go wrong with this beautiful venue. I had to have my wedding indoors because it rained all day, and it was still a GORGEOUS ceremony. The staff are amazing, the decorations are amazing, the entire venue will just leave you breathless. Our family found Glendalough Manor by a random Google search and we couldn’t have been happier. The staff was professional, timely in response, and took the stress out of wedding planning--especially from another state. We felt like family from day one. We were always greeted with a smile and excitement about our big day. They made us feel like we were the only bride and groom to ever be married there, which made the event even more special. The food was PHENOMINAL, the venue was breathtakingly beautiful, and we are still receiving phone calls about how well organized, smooth, and beautiful the entire wedding was. Their recommended vendors exceeded our expectations and I feel blessed to have found such a treasure in the tiny little outskirts of Peachtree City. My husband and I are so thankful to everyone at the Glendalough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect! Every last detail was so beautiful and our family and friends cannot stop talking about how wonderful the wedding was from the ceremony to the reception. Glendalough Manor is a family run establishment and the quality of service that we received at the Glendalough was exceptional. The grounds and gardens around the Glendalough are immaculate and the Wicklow Reception Hall is gorgeous, the photos online don't do the venue justice. You really need to visit the venue to truly appreciate how beautiful it is there.
We had Jena initially and Pennie as our wedding coordinator/director. They were both incredibly attentive and very helpful throughout the wedding planning process. One nice thing that we really enjoyed while planning the wedding was our vendor day at the Glendalough. They arranged for us to sample their menu items and to meet with preferred vendors for photography, cakes, flowers etc. It was incredibly helpful and a fun time too! The food was absolutely delicious, and they have a great wine and beer selection as well. Our day of was so perfectly executed, every last detail was taken care of which took a lot of stress off of us. They really know what they are doing at the Glendalough, I always felt like we were in good hands!

Glendalough Manor was perfect and on point the whole time! They do it ALL for you!! They have vendor day where they bring respectable businesses to you. You pick who you want, then just pay Glendalough. No need to pay 5 deposits, just pay one person. We made it like a bill and were able to be debt free at our wedding! What a way to start a marriage but debt free!
The day of was so amazing!! It was absolutely perfect! I was relaxed and was able to have fun! We had planned it all, they were there with me the whole time and made it stress free! Our friends are STILL talking about how much fun they had, how relaxed we were, and how amazing it was! We had lobster tail at the wedding! The food was so good!! The only thing that could have made it better was to press pause and stay there for longer!!
We had a blast! They were so great! Can I say more??
Nicole was awesome! She was carrying my train behind me while I was walking down part of the aisle so that my train didn't stick to the ground and you can't see her in the pictures! During the day, all I had to do was ask and the person with the headpiece made it happen!! It was so much fun! We loved it!!!

Absolutely beautiful venue! Obvious attention is paid to every detail on the grounds for seasonal landscape. In addition to the wedding & reception, we hosted the rehearsal dinner. Great Mexican Theme dinner. Added many flower arangements that were then used for the ceremony the following day. Set up the banquet are with pinatas, pepper string lights, and clear globe lights. Way cute!!!! Also decorated the bar area with additional flower arrangements to added ambience. Provided some recipes which the chef was happy to follow.

My husband and I recently tied the knot at Glendalough Manor and our day could not have been anymore like what we had always dreamed it would be! The planning process was made quick and easy by their expert staff. We worked mostly with Pennie, Jena, and Nicole. All were very patient, accommodated ALL of our needs, and just a pleasure to work with. We changed our minds many times about various things and they were always eager to help us make changes. They were quick to get back to me anytime I sent an e-mail or left a message. After all of the planning, I truly felt like they were family! They hosted our rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding and did an awesome job with this, too. Our wedding day was very stress free, exciting, and fun! Although Glendalough conducts weddings daily, they made me feel like my wedding was THE most important wedding ever. Every detail of our wedding on the day of was taken care of by the staff. We did not have to worry about the cake being delivered, the DJ setting up, the photographer arriving on time, etc. It is a gorgeous facility!! This all inclusive venue is definitely the way to go! I have two younger brothers that live in Ohio but my dad has already said that when they get married, if they ask for his money, they have to get married down in Georgia at Glendalough. They are just THAT good!!

The most stress-free wedding venue you could choose. The staff is top notch and take pride in what they do. They have this down to a fine art. Reception only, did not have ceremony there but the venue is beautiful. The food was even better than at the tasting! Thanks Chef! They work really hard to provide you as close to your "vision" as possible. The outside grounds are gorgeous. Absolutely the bang for your buck. If you are looking for a great staff, organized, gorgeous venue, this is your stop. Price - they are very competitive with other venues in the area. Nicole Wear and Penny were the best, very professional and fun to work with. Our wedding was amazing!!! I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. My husband and I are so glad that we chose to get married at Glendalough. We planned our wedding from another state and the staff at Glendalough was great with helping us plan our wedding from so far away. From the first visit to Glendalough my husband (then fiancé) knew it was where we were meant to get married. Being the practical sort I wanted to look at other places in the area just to be sure. We spent three months traveling all over metro-Atlanta looking at EVERY ( I really do mean every) place that dealt with weddings. Not a one could hold a candle to Glendalough's attention to detail, the beauty of the grounds and the manor, or the value of the services offered for the money. We had a little "sticker shock" our first run of the numbers at Glendalough--but when you add up what the same things would cost " ala carte" at some of the other venues or what it would cost in labor and time to do it yourself--Glendalough was the best value by far. Jaylyn and all the staff at Glendalough made us feel special and they all seemed to genuinely care about our special day--they got to know us and made sure our day was really OUR day. We wanted a stress-free, fun, beautiful wedding experience and Jaylyn and Glendalough made sure that happened. I still am getting compliments from guests at the wedding--"it was the most beautiful, original, fun wedding they have ever been to". Thank you Jaylyn and all the wonderful staff at Glendalough for making our day happen in such a wonderful way. Glendalough should be your first and last stop for weddings and special events!

Wow! Glendalough Manor is an amazing place! My son was married here 10/22/11 at the 7:00pm ceremony. It was so beautiful, the sun was setting, the gardens were lit up, the lighting was perfect. Pastor Grant Cole was so loving and kind. Upon entering the Manor after the ceremony our guests were greeted with a full premium bar and appetizers and then walked into the Wicklow ballroom. The ballroom was so beautiful, dinner was served to a candle lit room. The food was outstanding! Jennifer, Gary, Holly, their impeccable wait staff and Pennie were so kind and professional. They were a joy to work with. This family knows how to treat their guests! The music by Jules was perfect, our guests were dancing the entire night! I just cannot say enough about Glendalough. I also had the rehearsal dinner there the night before and I did not have to do a thing, they took care of everything. I would highly recommend Glendalough to anyone for weddings and any other events.

If anyone is looking for the perfect place to have an outdoor wedding, Glendalough is your venue! We were married at Glendalough Manor on 9/17/11 and it was the perfect day. Our wedding coordinator, Jennifer, made sure that everything turned out exactly as we envisioned and took care of all of our vendor communication. The venue itself is breathtaking and the service we received was amazing. The food is delicious, the ballroom for the reception is spacious for dancing. We also easily accommodated our handicapped guests. Everyone at Glendalough seems to love what they do and they reflect this positivity through their outstanding, first class service! I was married at Glendalough Manor on September 3, 2011 and my wedding ceremony and reception were beautiful. I was blessed enough to get Jennifer Gowing for my coordinator and boy was she ever a blessing. My wedding was planned while I was out of the country which meant most of the coordinating was done via email. Jennifer was responsive and she understood my vision. My guests and I were very pleased and had the time of our lives. If there were any complaints I did not hear them and they certainly did not come from me. Glendalough is hands down the best place for a dream wedding. Thanks Jennifer for being so accommodating.

We loved this venue! I can't say enough good things about it. As the mother of the bride, I couldn't be more happy with the way everything turned out. My daughter and son-in-law can't thank us enough for the wedding of their dreams! All the guest were impressed. They loved how beautiful the gardens were for the ceremony and how convenient it was to walk to the reception area. The food was delicious! I love the fact that I didn't have to lift a finger that day. The Glendalough staff did all the decorating and the place looked beautiful. OH MY GOSH..... Have your wedding here!!!! Glendalough, a family-owned and operated site in Tyrone, Ga, was awesome!!! I can talk about the beautiful gardens, exquisite ballrooms, and delicious food (people are still talking about the food from our wedding). BUT, I think what was really awesome about Glendalough is the step-by-step, let-me-help-you-break-your-wedding-down, stress-reducing services. First, you are given a wedding planner, as part of your package, and Jennifer Gowing is the BESTEST. They have done so many weddings that they can take a clueless person like me and tell me EVERYTHING I needed to know to create a perfect day - and the online services kept me organized and informed. Second, Glendalough sets you up with multiple vendors so you don't have to spend days and weeks searching out the best florist or photographer, or DJ - they have options available (I met with 3-4 of each vendor in the course of a day and chose who I liked best), and all the vendors have done multiple weddings AT Glendalough, so no worries as to your photographer standing in the wrong place or not getting the best shots. Finally, they pay your vendors - so Glendalough splits your payments up monthly across your planning period. There was no owing $4000 this month, and $20 the next. We only ever paid Glendalough, in even monthly payments, and they in turn paid the cake vendor, the photographer, the DJ, etc etc - and again the online system helped me see my budget, organized and added up, as I chose or changed vendors. Now, Glendalough is a family business, so you won’t get the super-business like demeanor that you might at some other places. But then again, I preferred family-friendly to uptight-business all the time. It made the planning process more fun and less stressful. Needless to say, my day was perfect, everything turned out amazing.

Beautiful Day

This venue was every thing I dreamed of having for my wedding the place itself is so beautiful the staff was amazing, the food was delicious and the drinks had everyone having a good time. I couldn’t have picked a more perfect place to have had my big day at. We thank Glendalough and the Staff for everything-The Mitchell’s 02/20/2022

Absolutely fabulous venue

Beautiful venue and and a wonderful team that will make sure things run smoothly and are excecuted perfectly. And food for the reception was great! Great atmosphere.
