Loved my wedding day with Glass Chapel!

I had my wedding at the glass chapel on May 20, 2024, and it was an amazing, lovely experience. Leading up to the big day every staff member at the Glass Chapel was so helpful in answering every question that I had and getting back with me very quickly. The day of they were very helpful and did whatever they needed to help me and my wedding party. My guests raved about how beautiful the venue was and everyone had the best experience. I really loved how they run their packages as all inclusive as I am an out-of-town bride, therefore it made it very seamless for me to plan. Loved every minute of my day with Glass Chapel!

The Glass Chapel is not only a beautiful place to spend the biggest day of your life. The staff make the whole process extremely smooth and help with EVERY need you may have. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this venue and its staff!!

I absolutely loved my experience with the ladies at glass chapel. My wedding day went flawlessly well and I have them to thank for it. If there were any bumps in the road, I was unaware which was perfect for me because I was able to enjoy my day to the fullest. Our coordinator helped keep us on time and things running smoothly. They came over to my husband and I to check to see if we needed anything from time to time. I would 100% recommend them to anyone, plus the venue itself is just gorgeous and the perfect size for a wedding of 150 people or less.

I cannot rave enough about this venue! They went above and beyond for our day. Our package didn't include certain things such as sashes and napkins, but they put them together anyway. Every single person who worked with us was professional, polite and absolutely a joy to us. If I could go back I would choose this venue 100 times over. A chapel with a view that is to die for no matter what time of day.

They were extremely helpful the day of the ceremony and were so willing to make any changes necessary to make my day perfect. Very responsive over emails and flexible with meeting times and payments. Offered great food, service, and beautiful location. They take such good care of the grounds to make sure everything looks beautiful. I could tell they wanted to spend time with me to make sure my wedding was all that I dreamed of.

Tarp Chapel was in our opinion, the most perfect place to have a wedding. The setting is gorgeous and the services provided were top-notch. I worked directly with Julianna to prepare our custom schedule of events; she and the rest of the staff were more than accommodating. We also used Serving Hands, the catering services offered by Tarp Chapel. Our custom brunch reception was a dream come true! Difficult to find a gem like this in the city - we wouldn't have traded this venue for any other! I most definitely would recommend Tarp Chapel & Gardens to anyone looking for a place to spend their perfect day! Thank you!

This was the most amazing place to have a wedding! Daughter got married here and we were so impressed by the wedding they did. The glass chapel with the trees in the background are a beautiful setting. The quality of service was top notch. Everything was done just like they said with no problems. They always got right back with us when ever we had a question. The chapel and reception hall are connected so everything is in one place. Saw some of the pictures they took in the back were a stunning view. I got so many compliments from friends and family. They loved the view and the way they set up the tables and the back porch. The food was just as great. They served good size servings and were so friendly and helpful to anyone who needed anything. Julianna knows her stuff. She is very knowledgeable about weddings. You are in good hands with her! Thank you so much for helping with the candy bar. Looked great! Pleasure working with you!

Food service was awesome. We went with the Italian buffet, and there was something for everyone. I highly suggest going to one of their free tastings that they offer to see what it's all about.

I thought Tarp Chapel was perfect for what I wanted. We wanted a venue that we could have the ceremony and reception all in one place, and we wanted a daytime wedding. It was gorgeous during the day. We had afternoon tea and they were so helpful and did everything I asked them to as far as setting up the tables how I wanted and everything. They were great.

Absolutely Beautiful, and the staff is so very helpful. The gorgeous glass chapel and the grounds made for some really great pictures. Really pricy though so we had our reception elsewhere but over all an amazing experience.

Anna and Juliana in the office were wonderful. i emailed several times and they always responded and answered my questions. Whenever they sensed i was nervouse, they would have me come to the chapel and go over everything in person. they walked me through everything. It is a little on the pricier end for a small wedding but my wedding was perfect. the rehearsal was the night before and Sheila (florist) handled everything...she was amazing and our wedding went off wonderfully!! they all worked well together and knew exactly what needed to be done. on my wedding day, i didnt have to do anything...they took care of all of the details.

Tarp is a really gorgeous wedding venue! At first it seems like they are expensive if you're on a budget, but they do cover a lot depending on what package you choose. It's nice knowing I won't have to worry about lighting, rentals, etc. and set up or tear down. They are, however, a little more strict about making sure things dont ruin the chapel which is understandable but hard when you are worried that what you want can't be done (like not having real petals on the floor). Regardless, they are very helpful and a gorgeous venue!

Tarp was great to work with. They were able to assist me in additional set up items for the venue, like glasses and napkins. They also referred me to other vendors when I needed additional services. The venue was beautiful for the wedding. Everyone was very happy.

I fell in love with Tarp Chapel. It has this elegant beauty that is just simple and perfect. I was so happy with how my day turned out. I would say that I wish we could have had the venue for the full day as it was difficult going from place to place to get ready, but we made it work and it was perfect. I would definitely recommend Tarp Chapel.

The Venue is absolutely beautiful.
The outside gardens & deck are perfect in the spring.
It was a bit pricey but having everything included & taken care of takes off so much stress!

We only had our ceremony at Tarp Chapel with our reception elsewhere due to the limited space and cost of catering. However, the chapel was gorgeous! We are very happy we chose Tarp for our ceremony and we can't wait to get our pictures back! Their time windows are rather limiting and expensive to add hours on if you want pictures on location before or after your ceremony. Our pictures were a little rushed because of this, but we made the best of it. They rarely answered the phone when I called, but usually got back to me within a day or two.

I LOVED the venue! It was beautiful. They worked with everything I wanted. The price was a bit scary at first, but they take care of so much, and it's reasonable compared to me doing it all by myself! Highly recommended!

Tarp was a gorgeous setting for our winter wedding! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We did the Brides Dream Package which came with the DJ, flowers, catering, the venue, and more. It was so nice to have it all done at one place and not have to go and find companies to do everything.

This venue was BEAUTIFUL and evenyone enjoyed it! It is for a smaller wedding (120 or less) and if you book the wedding coordinator, she can seem a bit "pushy", but overall, it was a wonderful experience. Everyone was really helpful and made the day perfect.

The chapel is beautiful, but they are kind of control freaks. They must approve all your vendors beforehand, their people do the catering, and no liquor is allowed. And if you want it on Saturday night, it's EXPENSIVE. I didn't want to have a night wedding there because I fell in love with the greenery and wanted to be sure it was in my photos, not black windows. It was my dream venue, so the price didn't matter that much. It was totally beautiful and well-decorated when we arrived. The people are very nice to work with as well.

When we were first shopping for wedding venues, Tarp Chapel was near the top of our list. It's a glass chapel in the woods... the perfect way to have that ourdoor wedding feeling without worrying about rain. We initially thought the price was high, but then we realized how much extra stuff it included: tables, chairs, plates, forks, linen's, and centerpieces for each table. Once we added that up, the place was a bargain (and gorgeous to boot).

The only drawback is that the chapel only seats about 110 (give or take). We invited 130 people to our wedding and held our breath that we'd have some no-shows. Sure enough, we wound up with 105 people who signed our guest book. Perfect!

Oh, one other thing - the bridal suit is on the other end of the facility... I had to walk through the reception hall to get to the chapel (meaning that a few stragglers saw me in my wedding dress before I started walking down the aisle). Not a big deal, but I'd have someone on hand to shoe everyone into the chapel before the ceremony begins.

One thing to note - Tarp Chapel does NOT have a liquor license. You can bring wine and champagne on your own, but you must provide your own bartender (they dont' want the liability).

My wedding was beautiful and the venue is gorgeous. It went off without a hitch although I was not ready when people started showing up because I was having to direct people to rearrange some things in the reception hall.

The only negative thing I can say about this venue is the lack of organization. It is pretty bad when the bride is more organized than the venue. I was upset several times prior to the wedding over the lack of organization and follow through with Tarp. Over all it seemed to work out but at one point I would have swore that the disorganization would ruin my wedding day. (Yes, this was my dramatic Bridezilla moment 5 months before the wedding lol!).

So just be prepared to keep track of everything unless you hire one of the ladies to be your planner. Follow up and make sure they follow through. You can't find a prettier venue.

Tarp was very beautiful, the ceremony was breath taking. I think they possibly took advantage of the shortage in reception/cermony sights. It was a bit over priced for what you got. The catering could also use improvement, the food was good but I don't think the actually delivered as much as was paid for. We ran out way ahead of time even though we had planned and paid for 60 rsvp's and only about 30 stayed for reception. Running out of food is never a good thing. Overall it's a gorgeous place to have your wedding but I would say you really have to watch them. And being all the hassle of your big day, that is kinda hard & the last thing you want to have to do.

It's a small, but beautiful chapel that seems hidden in the woods with glass walls, so it looks very open. It seemed rather expensive, but included a ceremony and reception venue connected to each other, they insist on catering the food which was delicious, but a little bit pricy. You really are paying for the convenience of having it all in one place and for my situation it was well worth it. They have greenery arrangements to pick from and set up on different sized pillars. They also have options for you to create your own centerpieces for the reception tables. So we had them set up mirrors, candle holders, and table cloths and added our own petals, candles, and table runners and took hardly anytime to set up. They are pretty strict on the time, but if you're wanting a short and sweet ceremony and reception, it's well worth it. Or if you're willing to pay more for longer reception, it's available as well.

Tarp Chapel was a little on the pricey side, and tends to book multiple weddings each day, but was such a beautiful location. It rained on my wedding day, but stopped just before the ceremony & the windows throughout the chapel were covered in water, making it incredibly enchanting

The wedding was fantastic and went without any problems. But then at the reception the groom was serving cake because they didn't have enough staff and they didn't have anything set out for us to have our cake and punch together.

When my husband and I got engaged, I knew immediately I wanted to get married in the Glass Chapel. I had attended a wedding there back when I was in high school, and I fell in love with this place. It didn't disappoint on our wedding day either! It was so beautiful and the lighting was breathtaking!! I also loved the bridal chamber to get ready in, there is a private sitting room and bathroom so you don't have to worry about being seen!

That being said, I was very disappointed in one employee that we worked with. Lynn was friendly and helpful on our first meeting, but when we chose to only have our ceremony there and not our reception, her professionalism faltered. In addition, during our second meeting with her as the big day got closer, she literally raised her voice at my mother and talked over her. This went on for like two minutes. My husband and I were so embarrassed and angry at the lack of professionalism she displayed. We also had to pry out of her a decent rehearsal time; she told us that we were given a 3.30pm time because we were only using the chapel for the ceremony, but we were going to have to ask everyone to take off work for that time. We managed to change it to 6.30pm, but it took an awkward conversation with Lynn to get it. She informed us that, essentially, we weren't as important because we didn't book the chapel for our entire celebration. Very rude and unprofessional, I couldn't believe it. So all in all, the chapel is GORGEOUS and I recommend the location!! But watch out for Lynn.
