  Life saving!

  Jicel was a life saver!
  My original make up artist canceled on me 5 days prior to my wedding, luckily Jicel was able to squeeze me in and did an amazing job! I will be forever greatful!

  Had a GREAT experience with Jicel ! I actually hired her before my makeup trial based on all the great reviews and photos since I was running out of time for my wedding. I am happy I went with my instinct ! Had the makeup trial for my bachlorette and exceeded my expectations. Showed her some photos of what I had in mind ( Glam look) and she nailed it! Felt sooo pretty and loved how proud she was of her work !
  
  Wedding day she arrived with 2 assistants that help with hair and all did a great job! We had 2 moms and 3 BMs and myself ( bride) . My makeup turned out amazing AGAIN ! Also, it lasted ALL night and I felt beautiful ! The girl that did my hair was amazing ! I knew I wanted my hair down but wanted it to be different than anything I could do , showed here photos from Pinterest and BAM - Exactly what I envisioned and curls lasted all night.
  
  I would highly recommend Glamour on the Go! Can't wait to have her Glam me up again soon ! She is a true professional and super friendly !

  I love Jicel! My experience, thus far, is just the trial and I fell absolutely in love with her work and her professionalism! She can carry a conversation as if she was your long lost friend. Most importantly, I truly appreciated her organizational skills.
  Needless to say, I booked her for the wedding. I am excited... I will update after the wedding with a picture.

  Jicel did my hair and makeup for my wedding last Sunday. Her and her partner also did the hair and make up for my mom and bridesmaids. She was recommended to me by my friend. She did such an amazing job. She's quick and knows exactly what she is doing and you can tell that she loves what she does. I had an early start (5:30 am) and she and her partner were on time. When I started getting nervous about my big day, Jicel calmed me down and made me laugh with jokes. She's an amazing makeup artist and person. I recommend her to everyone and I have already recommended her to my other friends who are getting married. Jicel, you were an absolute pleasure to work with. Thank you so much for making me beautiful on my wedding day! You are the best.
  
  P.S. The makeup lasted the entire duration of my wedding and my false lashes never came undone. My hair also stayed in place the whole time. I am an incredibly happy and grateful client! Thank you Glamour on the go!

  I have never written a review but I think everyone should have a chance to discover and work with Jicel. I had been researching hair and makeup artists for my wedding day and it seemed as though everyone's rates were exorbitant. Jicel’s website gave a great first impression of her capacities and experience and provided an overview of her most reasonable prices. We easily arranged for a hair and makeup trial, she traveled to my home and in what seemed like no time she had transformed me into exactly what I'd wanted to look like on my wedding day. Working with Jicel, she was always polite, gave great advice when I needed it, and was extremely responsive over email and in person. I was also very impressed by how organized and accommodating she was -- Jicel was able to fit in two of my cousins and a close friend who made last minute requests for updos and eyelash extensions, and they couldn't have been happier!
  
  My hair and makeup looked perfect through the entire night and my mother, sister's did as well. Jicel is amazing to work with and was one of the best decisions I made regarding wedding preparations. If I could give Jicel and her team 6 stars or more, I would!

  Jicel did my hair and makeup for my wedding, and since then I have been raving about her! She made me feel beautiful, setting the stage for the BEST wedding day I could've dreamed of. Leading up to the day, she was professional, flexible and reassuring, offering guidance and advice to my many questions.
  
  On the day of, she arrived on time and set up, and soon I was sitting in front of the mirror chatting away with her as she teased my hair. She was engaging and fun to talk to, and helped keep the mood light and stress-free. I was a bit nervous; I hadn't done a trial, and I wanted to go all-out with makeup and hair for a formal, elegant and timeless look - a departure from my everyday, as I generally don't wear a lot of makeup and wear my hair naturally straight and down. I hoped I wouldn't turn out looking overdone, fake or rigid.
  
  Two hours later, Jicel turned me around and had me look at my finished look in the mirror. She had managed to highlight my features and bring them out dramatically while keeping the look clean. My hairstyle was beautifully elegant yet relaxed. I LOVED everything about it!!
  
  Jicel really is a master at what she does, and I'm so glad I entrusted her with my hair and makeup! I will continue to refer her to friends and family to look their best on important days to come!

  I found Glamour on the Go on yelp after much research on makeup artists for my wedding. I saw the high reviews on yelp and liked the pictures on yelp and Instagram, so I emailed Jicel to get a quote and more info. I decided to book her for my engagement photoshoot session and wedding day. I didn’t know what to expect because I don’t wear much makeup and had never done my makeup professionally. Jicel did a good job for the engagement pictures. She not only did my makeup but did my hair as well, which was a huge plus. The few minor things I wasn’t comfortable with or didn’t like I let her know and she took notes for the day of the wedding. Jicel is such a sweetheart and makes sure you like what she has done. She made sure I felt comfortable and it felt like I had known her for a while already. The wedding day makeup and hair came out amazing!!! I was so happy how everything came out. The makeup lasted all day and just had to do a minor lip retouch with some lipgloss before the reception to make it look fresh again (the color was still there). My updo hairstyle didn’t last all day, but I had it fixed a few times when needed, before and during the reception. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because Jicel and her hair assistant were 1 hour late due to some freeway ramp closures. This, unfortunately, delayed us and made me late to my photoshoot and I didn’t get all the photos I wanted. During the rush of everything, they forgot about my veil and it wasn’t pinned into my hair. Since it was a long cathedral veil, it kept on falling off the whole day, which made it annoying. Other than that, everything else did come out great. Thank you Jicel!!!

  Great Look, Poor Communication

  Hair and makeup turned out phenomenal for all bridesmaids, moms, grandma, aunt, and bride! Stayed on all day for everyone and only had the soft curls in the front fall down on the bride after a ton of dancing! They brought small hair accessories to buy (so factor that in if you want that) and you could buy their lipstick if there was enough.
  
  Communication was a bit tough with the makeup artist (owner) the weeks up to trying to book a trial and there was miscommunication towards the end of the services.
  
  Prefers zelle as form of payment. Trials are in their studio in West Covina. Can get up very early to start if you need!
