Our wedding in Tuscany in October of 2023 wouldn't have been half as magical but for the incredible effort of Lara. In just under 10 months, she helped create an event that was absolutely perfect and way beyond what our imaginations could have conjured up alone. As we regularly reminisce about this most special moment in our lives, we find we’re always thinking of Lara too and just how grateful we are to have had her by our side for the experience.
After initially trying to do it all ourselves and plan an intimate destination wedding all the way from Los Angeles, we realized that we needed the help of a local planner. Lara came highly recommended through a colleague whose son was using her for their gala wedding in Tuscany as well (we heard only amazing things from them after their affair). She suggested an introductory Facetime call and we immediately knew she was the consummate wedding professional. She was warm, friendly, organized, and spent time really getting to know us and listening to our preferences. We particularly appreciated that Lara wanted to make sure we were mutually a fit, so she suggested a trial run before moving to a contract. This really showed us how much she cares about her clients and always puts their needs for their special day above her own. We started our work together by identifying some options for the villa, which was to serve as both the venue for the ceremony as well as housing for our families. Lara got back to us promptly with a fabulous list of venues, with one that absolutely blew us away. To this day, we’re still stunned and feel so lucky to have found this one villa. We would have never, ever have found it without Lara and her local expertise. From there, we were set. We booked the villa and signed on with Lara for the rest of the planning.
Over the following months, Lara guided us through the process of selecting vendors and ironing out all the other details. She was thorough, responsive, and flexible. She was also really intent on helping us find the right providers for everything we needed, and not once did she put any pressure on us to use her connections. Lara even offered to contact vendors that we found on our own via Instagram, which is how we ended up with our amazing photographers (LaTo Photography) and makeup & hair artists (Bezal Makeup). Lara delivered on everything she promised, and advised us on so many little touches that elevated the entire wedding.
We met Lara for the first time in person the day before the ceremony and she was as lovely as expected. It was like reuniting with an old friend. During the big day, she was there at every step making sure our vision turned into reality. She was calm, collected, gentle, hardworking, and unshakable. Even when the weather forecast turned out to be less than ideal, she helped us pivot while still maintaining our standards and expectations. Lara is unbelievable at what she does.
Overall, working with Lara and Glam Events in Tuscany was an 11/10. Without reservation, we recommend Lara to anyone who wants a planner they can trust to deliver on their vision, and provide expert guidance from beginning to end, all while being a sweet and kind human who exudes positivity along the way. We can’t wait to have another excuse to throw a big party so that we can work with her again. Thank you for everything, Lara! -

Our dream wedding come to life!
From the moment we met Ilaria, we just knew that she was the perfect fit for us! She was so friendly and welcoming, offering us lots of different options for venues and vendors and always available to give her thoughts on what would suit our vision best. She was excellent at responding to emails and messages, making sure we were always kept in the loop about any changes or amendments. We were able to visit Italy a couple of times before our wedding date and on each occasion, Ilaria came with us to meet the vendors and ensure the plans were on track and correct. Her attention to details was fantastic and her ability to manage all the different aspects was extremely professional but also personal at the same time. Even though Ilaria plans weddings and events every day, she made us feel very special and like our wedding day was the only one she was planning!
The morning of our wedding, there was an issue with the lightening being dismantled, however we were not even aware of the issue until the following day as it was expertly handled by Ilaria and the issue rectified before anyone was even aware. Our guests were so impressed with how well organized the whole weekend was and we had lots of comments about how slick and professional everything was. We are so grateful to Ilaria for all the help and support she gave us in the planning process and for making our dream wedding come true! Having her as our planner allowed us to really enjoy the day and focus on each other, rather than having to worry about the logistics or whether people were in the right place at the right time! Thank you to Ilaria and the whole team for being so amazing throughout and we would definitely recommend Glam Events for your destination wedding! -

Dream Come True!!!
Ilaria and Glam Events were an absolute dream to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. From our very first call Ilaria was enthusiastic and warm, and we felt as though we could be open and honest with her.
She went above and beyond to ensure that our (everchanging) vision came to life! We had so many ideas and she was always receptive and helpful with her feedback. We had such a fun time collaborating on design with her.
Her attention to detail is fantastic, her communication was always quick, and her ability to manage the project was extremely professional. She always made time for us, whether it was monthly Zoom calls to discuss logistics or a pre-wedding trip to Italy to visit the venue and vendors.
People always say that something will go wrong on your wedding day so you should just roll with the punches, but we can honestly say there were no surprises and that is because no stone was left unturned, and every detail was thought out.
It’s now two months later, and our guests still talk about how amazing the weekend was and how it was likely the best wedding they had and ever will be to (we may be biased, but we have to agree!). We would happily recommend using Ilaria and Glam Events for a destination wedding in Italy. You won’t regret it!

All I can say is Lara was THE BEST wedding planning decision we made. She took our vision and made it a reality and provided so much guidance along the way. If we weren’t sure about a decision she gave us the prefect recommendations and made the whole process completely stress free. We had 3 nights of wedding events for 55 people and each one was better than the next. It was beautiful, seamless, and pure magic. There was no way we could have done it without her- which I cannot emphasize enough.
We started planning in 2021 and due to COVID backlogs got married in August 2023. So, we had many calls and emails with Lara and have loved working with her and getting to know her. She went above and beyond for us and helped us plan trips in Italy before and after our wedding. I honestly cannot say enough good things- our wedding was perfect and Lara is the kindest planner you could ask for. -

Best decision we made!
My goodness, where do I even begin? We worked with Lara from Glam Events and it was hands down the best decision we made. Finding a planner, let alone a destination wedding planner can be overwhelming and stressful because you don’t know where to begin and what you’re even looking for, but it’s probably one of the biggest decisions you will have to make for planning such a huge event.
I researched far and wide and interviewed around 10 planners from small to big companies and decided to go with Glam Events because from the minute I got on a video call with Lara, I felt at ease and she had an incredible ability to empathize and understand exactly what I was trying to communicate. If you’re looking for a planner, just schedule a consultation and I swear you won’t need to look anywhere else.
For me, it just came down to feeling a deep sense of trust that Lara could execute everything I dreamed for my wedding. And let me tell you, she did just that and beyond. From the very beginning of planning when scheduling site visits, make up trials, food tastings etc…she was able to organize in such short notice (when we decided to visit last minute) and make sure we were able to do everything we needed in a short couple of days. She is so professional, positive, quick to respond, and incredibly organized. And the crazy part is that she was able to do everything in a way that doesn’t stress you out nor make you become a bridezilla. Everything felt so seamless and honestly fun!
She shared her opinions (she has incredible taste btw) and years of knowledge working in the industry, but she also gave me the autonomy to curate what I envisioned and was always open to my personal takes and made sure my desires were heard and achieved. She knows the best vendors in Italy and we could not be happier with everyone we worked with. All of the guests were swooning over every detail, the food, the music, the flowers etc…We are New Yorkers and our working style compared to that of the ~dolce vita~ style of Italians can look very different from what we’re used to. So our main concern was that on the day of the event, we would fall back in schedule or things may fall through the cracks because vendors may be too relaxed, but no, it was absolutely perfect and we didn’t even have to think about timing because Lara was so on top of it and it felt so natural and seamless.
What’s more, she helped us plan 2 other days— our rehearsal dinner and catholic ceremony/welcome party. Both events were incredible and such bangers, all our guests were so impressed and excited—it set the tone for the wedding day. Let me just add one more thing. The catholic ceremony on the day of the welcome party was requested by my MIL pretty last minute, and it was a lot of paperwork and logistics that Lara had to help us figure out and she did it so graciously and so well. We’re so thankful she was there to help us through it all.
All of the behind the scenes work that Lara did on our big day did not go unnoticed. Her job is hard, but she makes it seem so easy and she always has a huge smile on her face while doing it. Words can’t describe how happy we are that we were able to work with her and create one of the most important memories of our lives together. Beyond our professional relationship, she has become a good friend and if all of this sounds like what you want for your big day, seriously you don’t need to look for other planners. -

I had the wedding of my dreams
Working with Illaria from Glam events in Tuscany was the best decision ever! Planning a destination is very hard and Ilaria made it easy and fun. Illaria listened to all of my thoughts and ideas and really helped us focus on what was important to us. I originally hired Ilaria only to help me plan welcome dinner and the wedding. However I wanted to put together a wine tasting for my guests and Ilaria offered to help for no extra cost “best wine tasting ever”
During the planning process she was extremely flexible with our schedule, she followed up every single one of my emails. She was always reachable either through text or call. Ilaria also helped my mom putting together a surprise (always keeping in mind my wedding vision) which was the highlight of the wedding. Ilaria made the wedding seem so easy, she was there until the end in every single event.
She made sure that everyone was comfortable. Ilaria allowed my husband and I to soak in and enjoy our wedding day and THAT is worth every penny! Thank you!”

Wow, where to begin with how amazing Lara and her team are!
Glam Events Tuscany made all of our wedding dreams possible. They provided us with the best venue options, and the best supplier recommendations.
Lara makes you feel like the only Bride in the world. The communication and time of day Lara gives you whilst planning your wedding from a far is second to none.
Her team are very professional and on the day they are all there to assist with any needs.
I would recommend Lara and Glam Events Tuscany to all brides who are at the early stages of wedding planning as she really carries you through the process very smoothly. Nothing is too much to ask her and she is such a happy, sweet and kind lady who makes you always feel at ease, even when you feel like a 'Bride-zilla'!

Beyond Incredible! Made our day what it was and made a friend!
Ilaria was the best wedding planner we could have ever dreamed of! She went above and beyond constantly and genuinely know we would never have had the experience we did without her. We had to delay our wedding due to the pandemic and Ilaria’s positivity and constant checking in throughout was beyond appreciated and made us feel completely supported and kept the excitement throughout. Ilaria is a special person who truly goes above and beyond to make sure you have the day you dream of. Anytime there was a situation that could be stressful, Ilaria had an incredible talent at keeping it calm and finding solutions. We will never be able to thank her more for that. Perfection!
I'm struggling to find the right words to explain how incredibly amazing Ilaria and Glam Events are! For context, my husband and I started our wedding planning journey in June of 2019. We are based in New York City but dreamed of a destination wedding in Tuscany. From the start we knew Ilaria was going to be the perfect fit for us (not even exaggerating after every FaceTime, my husband and I would be visibly more relaxed). We reached out to dozens of planners but when we spoke with Ilaria we immediately knew we were in the best hands. Every email was answered quickly and efficiently without hesitation (and I sent a LOT of emails!).
We made our first "Planning Trip" with my parents in October 2019. Ilaria planned a whole itinerary for us that never felt rushed or stressful. We visited 4 stunning venues, had food tastings, hair and makeup consultations, spoke about flowers, decor, etc. All within a 3 day timeframe. Ilaria curated the best of every vendor in the region while also being mindful of our budget. Of course shortly after, COVID hit and we took a long break from planning and had to seriously reconsider our wedding. All throughout the pandemic Ilaria kept in touch as a friend reassuring us that our day would come. We needed to make some big changed to our original plan and Ilaria convinced us it would still be the day of our dreams. She re-planned the entire event with ease never making us feel stressed. We went from a 50 - 75 person wedding down to 17 and both felt equally as special due to the impeccable planning.
We then made our next planning trip in September 2020 to finish the planning. It was so exciting going back to our venue and seeing Ilaria again felt like seeing a friend after years apart! We had another hair and makeup trial, tasting, event coordination, all in the comfort of our venue. She even helped recommend a restaurant close by for dinner! We left Italy so excited for our day to finally be here.
As we got closer to the wedding we planned various events surrounding the wedding day. For our wine tour, Ilaria curated a very special, intimate, day with authentic, secluded, vineyards that had stunning views, delicious wine, and a memorable homemade lunch experience. She put together special welcome bags for our guests, planned a welcome wine tasting, and found us a rooftop overlooking Siena's Piazza del Campo. It was the perfect welcome for our guests. Ilaria consistently went above and beyond not only for us and our event but for our guests too. Any need was catered to (seriously, my sister broke a nail and Ilaria had an appointment booked for her in minutes!).
THE WEDDING DAY. WOW. Although we planned every second of this day with Ilaria, it completely blew us away and exceeded all expectations. She made sure every moment ran perfectly, I can't say a single thing went wrong. Our ceremony was held under a shady tree and everyone felt comfortable (and being comfortable in 85 degree weather in a tux isn't easy to pull off!). Every moment of the ceremony was perfection from the flowers lining the aisle, officiant, violinist all provided by Ilaria. We moved from ceremony to appertivo to dinner and finally dancing with ease. Even though we only had 17 people it felt like it was 100!
I could really go on forever about Ilaria and Glam Events. Ilaria has truly become a friend of ours through this process and we felt so comfortable and secure every step of the way (Not easy to do for a COVID bride, but Ilaria did it!). If you're even considering booking with Glam Events DO IT! We are so lucky to have found Ilaria and are so grateful for her support through every step of the wedding planning process. You will be in the best hands and you won't regret it! If you're looking for the wedding of your dreams and a celebration your guests will talk about forever, Glam Events in Tuscany is for you! The most amazing wedding planner
I don't know where to begin while writing this review. There are too many wonderful things to say but first and foremost, in the one and a half year we worked with Ilaria to plan our wedding, she became so much more than our planner, we've gained a friend for life! We talked to at least 7 or 8 wedding planners when we decided we wanted to do a destination wedding in Tuscany. From our initial conversation with Ilaria, we instantly knew that she understood us and our vision. Despite the timezones (we live in NYC), communication and coordination were so seamless and easy. Ilaria works with an amazing group of vendors who are absolutely the best. A lot of people asked us if it was stressful to plan a destination wedding in another country and our answer was it was SO MUCH FUN!!! And the reason for that is Ilaria - she's very organized, makes herself available to chat, has a great vision, really cares about her couples and what they want, and the relationships she has with the vendors. We cannot thank Ilaria for making our dream wedding everything we wanted it to be and more. Everyone that celebrated our wedding with us have said they loved the events and how unique it was. Tuscany will forever hold the most special place in our hearts and as we make our annual visits I know we will always fit in a wine/dinner catch-up with Ilaria. You will not regret booking Glam Events as your wedding planner! She is the BEST! -

We had an amazing experience working with Lara and Glam Events! In 2019, Lara planned a very thoughtful trip when we visited Tuscany and took us to a variety of venues. We had planned to get married in May 2020 but unfortunately had to delay for two years. Lara was incredibly kind, caring and patient throughout the whole process, helping us manage vendors and reconfirm everything. She really took the time to understand what we were looking for and recommended fantastic local vendors. She was so organized, responsive, and on top of everything. Her positive, cheerful and calm attitude made the whole process truly easy and enjoyable! Thank you Lara and Glam Events! -

Perfection.
Where do we even begin? We found Glam Events Tuscany I believe by reading through many reviews on websites and blogs and reached out to several wedding coordinators, but knew the minute we spoke with Lara via video chat it was the right fit. We are from NYC and knew absolutely nothing about what we even wanted other than we wanted to have our wedding in Italy. Lara walked us through expectations and gave us many examples of venues, caterers, florists to get us started with our journey. She was able to guide us in the right direction without us even explaining what we wanted, she was just able to read us and get a sense of our style and just knew. During our planning COVID happened and we ended up having to postpone our date over a year out. Lara gave us constant updates and reassured us even when we had doubts that everything would work out. I cannot stress enough how amazing it was to have a coordinator like Lara with her calm and cool attitude during such uncertain times! When we finally were able to have our wedding it was beyond PERFECTION. Every vendor we worked with exceeded our expectations and the service was exceptional. Lara was with us every step of the way and went above and beyond in dealing with all the extra COVID precautions, tricky transportation, crazy wedding guests, possible bad weather, last minute meltdowns the bride (me) had! Again, she always remain cool, calm and collected through it all and was always so professional. Lara was the best decision we made throughout our wedding journey. She executed everything we wanted, was honest with what we needed and didn’t need and above all was such a delightful person to work with. Without a doubt hiring Glam Events Tuscany is the best choice you can make in planning your wedding it Italy. The Best Planners Ever!
I cannot even begin to put into words how fortunate we were to come across Glam Events and have them plan our Tuscan wedding weekend of events -- they are the absolute best!
From our very first video call with Ilaria (we are from Boston), we immediately felt at ease and that she was a perfect fit for us! Our wedding was originally scheduled for September 2020 but the pandemic had other plans and we ended up postponing not once but twice, and finally had our wedding a year after our original date in September 2021. While this could have been a very stressful experience, Ilaria continuously reassured us, provided updates and was incredibly flexible and willing to work with us and vendors to continue to plan the wedding we always envisioned. She made the entire planning process so pleasant and we looked forward to every call we had with her -- now that our wedding is over we genuinely miss getting to speak with her regularly after almost 2 years of calls!
From the very beginning (and through both postponed dates) she was able to secure our dream venue and provided us with wonderful curated lists of vendors and options for all of our wedding needs. She worked with all these vendors on our behalf continuously to help arrange plans and bring our visions to life. She was unbelievably patient and generous with her time, always making herself available for calls when we asked (even if she was sometimes on vacation). I cannot stress enough how great it was to work with her over 2 years of distance planning! Even in our most stressful last month of preparations we genuinely felt more at ease after every conversation with her.
What can I say about our actual wedding weekend other than that it was absolute perfection. We were fortunate enough to work not only with Ilaria but also with Lara during the week of our wedding lead up + throughout the whole weekend, they were both fantastic! They were amazing coordinating all our events from the wine tastings + welcome dinner the night prior, through the actual wedding day and also on the day after for our pool party. Everything went exactly according to plan and there were no major hiccups or issues, they took absolutely all the planning stress out of our wedding weekend! Not to mention that the events were beautiful and executed even better than we could have ever imagined.
We are forever grateful to Ilaria & Lara for this amazing experience and for making sure we had the weekend we always dreamed of even after years of delays! Thank you so much and we miss you already! -

Beste Weddingplannerin
Im September 2022 durften wir endlicj (nach drei Verschiebungen verursacht durch den COVID) unsere Traumhochzeit durchführen. Ilaris hat seit Tag eins einen wunderbaren Jobe gemacht, wir bekamen immer sofort eine Antwort, egal was und wann wir ihr geschrieben haben. Professionalität auf höchstem Niveau! Die Hochzeit hat alle unsere Erwartungen gesprengt und ich wünschte ich könnte der Welt die Bilder der wunderschönen Dekoration, Locations, Zeremonie, Abendessen und Party zeigen. Ich würde jedes mal wieder Ilaria wählen! Sie ist wirklich die beste und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top! Sie setzte sich jederzeit für unsere Bedürfnisse ein und ist eine super Frau die altiv mitdenkt und die besten Vorschläge bringt. My wife and I both live in Singapore and Ilaria was the prefect wedding planner for our wedding in Lucca. Without Ilaria's help, the whole organization would have been difficult if not impossible. She was always present, constant attention to detail and reliable in execution.
She was critical for the success of the event, we had 200 guests, coming from all over the world and continuously manage changing covid regulations. Ilaria made everything easy, kept us on schedule, and make decision making from abroad a simple and clear process.
Having planned the wedding for over a year, it amazingly came out even better than we imagined, all thanks to Ilaria! Highly recommended! -

To be honest, we've had our doubts about hiring a wedding planner. I thought; how much work can it possibly be, right? But, as my now husband wasn't excited about the wedding planning, I wanted to have someone who I could discuss everything wedding related with. So I asked our wedding venue (a hotel) to make us some recommendations for wedding planners. Glam Events in Tuscany stood out for me because of their previous weddings. They seemed to understand the atmosphere I was looking for; to enhance the beautiful location, and not to cover it up with excessive decorations.
I immediately connected well with Lara, and she has truly shown us numerous options with our wishes and budget in mind. I quickly realized how valuable it is to have someone local to do all the contact with potential vendors - florists, photographers, make-up artists etc. If you contact them yourself, they sometimes don't answer. With a wedding planner they do - and Glam Events has probably worked with them before.
The planning went super smooth - and then Corona happened. We had to cancel last minute as I got tested positive a few days ahead of the big weekend. I was never more thankful to have Lara, then I was at that moment. Lara managed to cancel and eventually postpone everything to 2021, without extra costs.
At the end of June we got our fairytale wedding after all, and it was everything we had envisioned and so much more. I've been told by everybody I was the most relaxed bride they've ever seen. Well, there was literally nothing to worry about. Lara had it all under control. She was the quiet strong force managing everything in the background.
Our wedding weekend flew by in a second, and I can only be disappointed now that there is no more wedding in the planning.

With the help of Glam Events and in particular, Ilaria, we had a magical wedding in Tuscany. We live in London and do not speak Italian and so we knew that a wedding planner was a ‘must have’ but the additional cost was worth every penny. In fact without Ilaria, we may never have found our dream wedding venue, Dievole Winery.
My (now) husband and I had extensively researched potential wedding venues online, which Ilaria was more than happy to visit with us but the stand out venue for us was the one that Ilaria had suggested (and we had not found online!).
Ilaria stood out from other wedding planners whom we had also interviewed via skype because she was informative, enthusiastic and warm yet professional. When we explained the style of wedding that we wanted, you could tell that she just ‘got it’. It was also important for us to have the official legal wedding at the venue rather than in a church and Glam Events (unlike some other wedding planners we spoke to) were more than happy to arrange this. Ilaria made the whole process very straight forward by providing a list of recommended vendors for every service needed and attended and assisted at the food and wine tasting, florist and even my hair and make-up trial. Ilaria’s knowledge and experience in this regard was invaluable and went towards what made our wedding day so special. She was also always open to hearing our ideas and this collaborative approach and flexibility was very much appreciated.
Whenever we spoke or meet with Ilaria, she immediately put me at ease; I felt like she understood our vision of how we wanted our wedding to be and that we were in a safe pair of hands… and we were right! Our wedding was absolutely stunning, with many guests commenting that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to! Thank you Glam Events for making our dream wedding come true! -

I found Lara and Glam Events via an online recommendation, right from the first 'get to know you' video session with her I found her to be professional and accommodating whilst helping us to understand what options were available to us for a wedding in Tuscany. She introduced us to a good variety of suppliers at different price points and had strong relationships with all of them. She showed us various venues, also at different price points and sizes which was very helpful too.
Despite it reaching 42 degrees on the day of our wedding, not to mention a splash of rain (!) she made sure everything went smoothly across all of the suppliers etc. All in all she did a great job all the while retaining a great balance of professionalism and friendliness.

Fairy Tale Wedding in Firenze!
My wife and I are Canadian, almost a year ago we were married in Firenze. When we first chose Villa Cora as our venue, we were overwhelmed with all of the planning that was required. Luckily, we found Lara. She was able to help us coordinate with all our vendors and the venue in order to plan our dream wedding. We couldn't have done it without her! If you are looking to have a destination wedding in Italy, we highly recommend Lara. You won't be dissapointed! -
