Stephen was amazing to work with. Stephen made us laughed and the photos turned out great without any edits.
Amazing turnaround time to get your photos back. We had our wedding on Saturday and got our digital files on Monday.

Noble/Pierson Wedding

My husband and I hired Giraffe Photography for our engagement and wedding photos. We could not have been happier with all of the photos (and there were a lot to choose from!) from both photo sessions. From weather issues to having my six-year old niece as one of my bridesmaids we had some possible challenges. But, Stephen went with the flow with us and everything went so smoothly. He was able to capture our personalities perfectly. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend!

Giraffe was the best choice I could have made for my wedding.

Our pictures are absolute perfect and the quality of work goes beyond what I had imagined. The moments they captured were perfect. They were so easy to work with and very creative. They made everyone feel at ease and had us laughing and having fun with our special day. I would highly recommend Giraffe to anyone for whatever event they want photographed.

Good times, Great Photos

Stephen and his wife Elaine run this great little business together. They helped us put together a timeline for the day and listened to the main that we wanted for our photography. We also took advantage of the complimentary engagement photo session that came with our wedding photography package.

I was about nervous about photography because I'm a little self-conscious about the way I look in front of a camera. But Steven helped us relax and feel comfortable. He has a great sense of humor that helped us laugh and kept my nerves at bay. Along with that, he has a lot of skill and precision behind the camera to beautifully capture memories of our big day. We were extremely pleased with our experience with Giraffe Photography.

Fun and perfection

I would highly recommend Giraffe Photography! Elaine shot the photos at our wedding and she was so much fun to work with. Most importantly, she took amazing shots of everything! So many incredible pictures to choose from. We are so happy with the experience! Both Stephen and Elaine are extremely friendly and professional. Thanks to them we have perfect memories of our day!

Amazing people to work with!

I would recommend Giraffe Photography in a heartbeat! Stephen did both our engagement and wedding photos and we loved every single one of them! He was able to get all of the shots we wanted along with some awesome candid photos we can't get enough of. All of our wedding guests and wedding party thought Stephen was super personable and hilarious, which made our pictures come out even better. We can't wait to use Giraffe Photography to capture more of our memories in the future!

Stephen is an amazing photographer. He’s personable, accommodating, and professional. My fiancé’ and I were scheduled to be in Iowa for a wedding. We were literally in town for 36hrs, and Stephen was able to worked with our tight schedule. Prior to our photo shoot he made sure we knew what to expect, gave us tips regarding what to wear and what colors palette would photograph best on us. Incorporating Stephen’s ideas and photography style, along with our personal styles choices made our engagement shoot an absolute success. Not only do we have amazing photos, we have amazing memories as well. Thank you Giraffe Photography.

Don't be worried that you'll get boring, stock wedding pictures from this vendor. He will work with you to create photos that are meaningful to you, and will be wonderful reminders of your special day. We had requests for certain photos, and he was more than happy to make it happen.

My husband and I live in California, but got married at a family member's home in Illinois. I had only been to the area once, so had to rely on family's recommendations and what I could find on the internet when choosing vendors. I had been given a few recommendations on photographers, but wasn't super impressed with their work I saw on their websites. I found Giraffe's page and loved what I saw. They were awesome from start to finish. Leading up to the event, they were very responsive to all of my queries. Steve was awesome to work with. He is not only an amazing photographer, but he is also a lot of fun to be around. He kept us laughing the whole time. We are so pleased with our wedding photographs. Steve expertly captured the magic of our perfect day.

They take amazing pictures and work very well with you on what you want. They work great with kids to help take the perfect photo. It is worth the money to go with someone who knows what they are doing.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Giraffe Photography. When researching wedding photographers I wanted someone who captured who my husband and I were through a photo. No awkward posed pictures. Just real moments, captured in real time. I would choose Giraffe Photography every single time if given another opportunity. There is not one photo that was taken that I do not like. In fact, I have the opposite problem of not knowing which photo to choose because I love them all so much! Not only did Giraffe Photography capture beautiful photos of my husband, myself, and our wedding party, but they captured exceptional pictures of our guests. We have images of family from this wedding that we will cherish forever and would not have had without this photographer! I cannot say enough positive words. Giraffe Photography associates are fun, light-hearted, and know how to get the job done. There are a lot of decisions to make during a wedding and picking a photographer in my opinion is the most important. Because when its all said and done, all that's left of your wedding are your memories... and your photos. Trust me that Giraffe Photography will not only meet but exceed your expectations.

If I could give a 6th star I would. Stephen was wonderful and made us laugh throughout the day. He has a great personality and his photo's are artistic and beautiful. Stephen was very professional and kept in contact with me throughout the entire wedding planning process. He also photographed our engagement session. Love my pictures! It was a dreary day but we had a little bit of relief from the rain to take pictures outside. My indoor pictures are just as wonderful!

I had a great experience with Giraffe Photography and I wouldn't have wanted anyone else to photography our wedding. Everything went off without any problems. Whenever I had a question prior to the wedding they were always available to answer my questions or would get back to me in a timely manner. Post wedding he got our pictures back to us very quickly and even meet with us to look at the photos. Of course the photos we AMAZING!!!!! I would highly recommend Giraffe Photography.

We used Stephen Folker and Giraffe Photography for our daughters wedding. Stephen was very professional not only that day but in weeks before as well. He called us with suggestions for a time line to make things go smoothly. He suggested pictures we didn't even think of. That day he made sure all the important pictures were done right away. He was fun and put everyone at ease with his demeanor. We were very pleased with the outcome of the photos. They were crisp, clear and the color was spot on. I would highly recommended them for any occasion you want to have photographic memories of.

Giraffe photography was great to work with. As a bride located on the east coast I found them to be very prompt when returning phone calls and emails. In addition we loved our wedding photos. Giraffe was a wonderful choice for us. The photographer, Stephen, displayed the perfect combination of candid shots while remembering the important family/posed photos.
Giraffe also worked with us on scheduling for the day. We wanted to avoid spending extra money on extra time because of a tight budget, and they worked with us on that.

Of all the aspects of wedding planning and selecting vendors, our photographer was not something I was willing to skimp on. My dress would be put away, his tux would be returned, the cake gets eaten, the pictures are pretty much the only thing you have left to remember such an important day of your life. I knew I wanted to find a photographer that found this day to be just as important and significant as I did. But I also wanted a specific, candid style. I absolutely found this with Giraffe Photography. Stephen and Elaine were able to capture moments from that day that I will treasure forever. They didn't miss a beat! I have pictures of moments that I didn't think could possibly be caught on camera, let alone to have them turn out as magical as they did. They photographed things that day that I didn't even notice occurred! My wedding album literally tells a love story of that day, which is exactly what I was looking for. Their talent and expertise is second to none, not to mention their laid back personalities and wonderful sense of humor. It certainly makes a difference that day! It helps you loosen up, have a good time and be comfortable. They helped arrange a special meeting place for my husband and I to see each other for the first time that day alone. They then were able to catch our expressions as we took a first look at each other that day. They went the extra mile for everything that day. They knew the perfect places for pictures at our venues,welcomed our ideas and gave great suggestions as well.

My husband and I have since trusted Giraffe Photography to catch even more life changing events in our lives. They have done my maternity photos and photographed our children/family. I wouldn't trust these special moments in life to just anyone. Only Giraffe Photography!

Absolutely the best photographer I have experienced. I am the youngest in my family so have had lots of experience with wedding photogs and have to say that giraffe is the best. If you want something that is a little off-beat and individual than these are the ones for you. They really took time to see what we wanted, met and exceeded expectations. Best of all, after we ordered a few prints they gave us the CD of all our wedding photos! A great keepsake and a great way for us to have a full wedding album. The professional album that they create for you is out of this world. It is like having a whole wedding magazine just about you! It is like being Princess Di or something! It was great.

Giraffe Photography (specifically Stephen) was a great photographer for our engagement pictures and our wedding pictures. They turned out great. He was fun to work with and made the day fantastic for us- catching so many moments that we missed during the big day or see them from our guests perspectives. We were happy to have these moments caught in pictures now to look back on. During the dinner and dancing, Stephen stole us away a few times to catch great sunset pictures. It was awesome to be able to sneak away from the party and have some time to look in from the outside at all the dancing. It meant a lot that he was trying hard to get us the best shots he could. Overall he did a fantastic job. He made the group photos/family pictures fun and very enjoyable. Our pictures turned out BEAUTIFULLY. Very happy that we went with Giraffe Photography for our big day.

We met with several photographers in the Quad City area, and found Stephen to be the absolute best fit for us. We loved that he had new ideas, and didn't want to take the boring "formal" pictures. It was very relaxed and fun for us both taking engagement and wedding photos. All of our pictures turned out beautifully and were exactly what we had hoped for. If I did it all over again, I would go straight to Giraffe Photography, no question!

Giraffe is fantastic to work with and we would definitely recommend and use them again. Stephen and Elaine are great at capturing those special moments throughout the day and work well with larger groups and family members too!
