    Next-level Barn Wedding!!

The location itself is stunning but what really made the difference was the people. This venue had the ability to connect us to all the right vendors and had knowledge on what wines to pair with the foods that were served. They made our planning process easier and I'd definitely recommend Giracci to anyone looking for a Californian rustic ranch meets little glam winery as their venue :)

    Wedding Venue

Giracci was the absolute perfect venue for my husband and my wedding day. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous during all seasons and have so many spots to offer. The staff was absolutely amazing and incredibly helpful! I would highly recommend Giracci for a future wedding or any event!

    A magical and dreamy venue!

Thank you so much for making our wedding the best day of our lives! The staff at Giracci make you feel like family and the venue could not be more stunning! I dreamt of my wedding for years but never could I have imagined that it would be as perfect and beautiful as it was! We have our vendors and Giracci to thank. We could not be more grateful as we felt truly blessed to be able to marry under the old oak trees and party in the magnificent barn! I wish we could get married there every weekend, haha! It was just that perfect and so much fun!! We worked most closely with Michele and she became such an integral part of our planning process. Any questions we had, she answered. She always met us with open arms and helped make our dream wedding come to life. Kevin and I will remember this day forever! I especially love that we can enjoy our wedding venue for years to come as we plan to visit for many glasses of their delicious wine!

    Great Venue!

Everyone at Giracci was absolutely wonderful to work with! We had our ceremony under the Gazebo and our reception in the barn. All of our guests loved the venue! The farmhouse, rustic vibe was exactly what we were looking for and we're so happy we found it at Giracci!

Our dreamy rustic and romantic wedding day!

Giracci Vineyards was the first place that we went to see and we fell in love with it. We liked that the venue had so many different options for the ceremony, cocktail and reception. We knew that we wanted a rustic, intimate and romantic feel on our special day. Everything just flowed so well together from one location to another. We did everything outdoors but happy that we had an option for their beautiful barn if the weather was too hot or too cold since we had a fall wedding.

The best part about Giracci is their preferred list of vendors. We selected our photographer, wedding coordinator, DJ and catering company from their list. Venues have a list of vendors for a specific reason: they know the venue very well and have worked many weddings there. Because of this, everything went so smoothly and the day was not at all stressful for us. We enjoyed every moment of it because everything was under control and everyone was having fun. Our guests loved the venue and loved the food and drinks. It was a perfect wedding for us and we would not change a thing.

This place is awesome! We picked the venue for the scenery for pictures alone but we were pleasantly surprised when the entire staff was just as amazing! Michele is your girl if you have any questions!

So many ceremony and reception options at this venue!

My company just recently shot a styled photo shoot at this venue and we had the best experience. Michelle is just so lovely to work with and is ready to accommodate all of your needs. The venue itself is so breath taking. There are so many ceremony and reception choices to choose from on site, including an indoor option. I love the rustic vibe the space provides, which allows you to get those beautiful photography shots that you wish cherish for the rest of your life. I do highly recommend using Giracci for your wedding venue, but don't just limit weddings. I also think that this is a unique corporate party spot. I also came here with my husband for their monthly wine tasting event. With the live music, outdoor taco station and delicious wine, we had the best date night!

    Dream Wedding Day!

This was a dream come true wedding day! A big plus was that we could get ready on site and the bridesmaids could spend all day getting ready at the venue. Our ceremony was at the Gazebo area, and reception was in the Cabernet Barn. The vendors recommended and staff for the venue were extremely professional and very helpful. We didn't really have to walk around much that day as the Giraccci staff had a golfcart to take us around to several scenic photo spots. When you are in the barn it doesn't feel country or barn like, it feels upscale town and country chic, which was right up our alley. We loved the gardens and that our guests could take pictures anywhere on the property. It was the perfect day and I would highly recommend this venue!

I fell in Love with Giracci the first time I saw it. It was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an outdoor rustic wedding and it totally fit the bill. The owners/staff were awesome. The day of my wedding they kept me on track and were there to handle anything that I needed. I would highly recommend this site for not just a wedding but any other large event you may be having.

Great venue space with great service

We are so happy to have had our 94 guest wedding at Giracci Vineyards. We had our ceremony at the gazebo and the reception under the oak tree. The gazebo space was very spacious and perfect for a ceremony of various guest counts. The venue space has plenty of space for guest to walk around and mingle during cocktail hour. I originally had doubts on how the oak tree space would accommodate our guests for dinner, but I was so surprised to see that it fit 94 guests so well and had enough room for a beverage station, bar, the dj and a 12 x18 foot dance floor. The twinkle lights are absolutely gorgeous at night. Their staff drove us on a golf cart to the hills adjacent to the venue to take some breathtaking sunset pictures. We are so glad to have had wedding venue to Girracci Vineyards!

    Extremely happy

I was so happy to have found this venue! It was conveniently nearby, yet you feel like you are somewhere much further away -- the location is quiet and private but easily accessible. The rolling hills and gorgeous, old trees give it beautiful character. There are so many lovely locations on the property for a ceremony, reception, or both. Having the oak tree circle, the barn, and the gazebo as our choice, I always felt that no matter what we'd have something beautiful. The flexibility and professionalism of the staff is amazing! They are responsive and very supportive, especially on the wedding day. I think our only constructive criticism is of the speed of service of the barn restaurant/wine tasting center, it was very slow but mostly because they were just understaffed that day. On our wedding day, there was also a little hiccup with our wine spritzers, we had some difficulty getting those out and then the white wine provided tasted like it may have just started to turn. Aside from those couple things, I really did love my time there and would recommend it to anyone!

    Beautiful venue in Orange County

Had our cocktail hour at the oak tree court and then reception at the gazebo. The venue is so beautiful and really gives you a elegant rustic vibe. Had our fall wedding here recently and loved how you did not have to over decorate because there are a lot of accent pieces all over the property (ie. Beautiful oak trees, fountain, wine barrels and barns. They also drove us around the property to take photos and really loved that added service.

Giracci was exactly what we wanted in a venue. They worked with us to help get our wedding the way we wanted it and helped us find great vendors for our big day! The barn was perfect and beautifully and they let us use any type of decor that was on their property.

Beautiful winery/barn setting right in Orange County: Our May wedding turned out absolutely beautiful at Giracci. In the price package we purchased in January 2015 ($7k) we got Michelle as a planning support contact, valet parking, the whole place to ourselves after the winery closing (guests were out by about 6pm), and free reign to anything that they already have on the grounds (basic tables, chairs, bar tables, ect.). It was so nice having Michelle dedicated to us the day of to support our wedding planner and drive us around the grounds for photos on their golf cart, pull the horse out for photos, ect. I’m sure she did millions of other things that I didn’t see but happened to get done. Well done Michelle!

We had the ceremony outside by the gazebo which was cool and shaded by 5pm. It would have been nice to have more privacy as there were still serving wine to the public at 5pm but I think you can pay an extra fee to close the public winery early. The reception took place in one of the barns which has been remodeled to serve as an event space only. We had about 125 guests which fit comfortably with a small dance floor. They could probably squeeze in more with a different table layout but I appreciated having a little space to move around. There are two chandeliers in the barn already but it would have been pretty dark at night without an extra rental and twinkly lights strung throughout the entire ceiling that we rented.

    Tips:
    1. Make an appointment if you want to visit. They are closed throughout most of the day during the week and have a locked gate. Unless you want to sneak in you should give Michelle a decent heads up so she knows to either be there or have someone there to open the gate for you
    2. 3. Go through what they already have in detail at the venue. When we did our final walkthrough we found some great unique gems that we used the day of. A couple examples were a cupcake tower stand and a huge table to display our sign-in quilt.

This was the perfect place to say "I Do"

My husband and I had about 7-8 venue tours lined up in one weekend, with some even being in Santa Barbara. Lucky for us, the first one we toured was Giracci, and we knew right away that that was where we wanted to say "I Do". It has a number of locations within the venue for the ceremony and for the reception. We chose the Wishing Well for our ceremony and the Barn for our reception! They also have a Stone Cottage that you can rent for the Bride to get ready in, which I highly recommend. It was so nice being able to relax and get ready on site. The venue itself is stunning. The price was a tiny bit higher than we wanted to pay, but it was well worth it, as Michele and her staff went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. You are able to use items that they have on site, like barrels and easels! Our guests would not stop gushing over the location. It's perfectly set back in the hills to avoid the typical craziness of California. It created a very relaxed, but elegant vibe! If you bring in outside vendors, they require meeting with them beforehand...which in the end we really appreciated it, because they just strive to make everything smooth and easy, which it was! They are quick to return your deposit after the wedding as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you Giracci Vineyards and Farms for giving us the wedding of our dreams

    country wedding in the OC

I loved getting married here. You walk onto the property and it just feels peaceful and its own little space. It was amazing having the whole property to ourselves. There are several spaces that you can have your ceremony or reception. There is space for a big wedding and plenty of parking for guests. This is a space where you can make it your own and get creative

Giracci Vineyards and Farms is a beautiful property with five areas to choose from; depends on amount of guests as to how many areas are needed. I'm having a small intimate wedding so we went with one area, the wishing well court where there is a small wishing well, a gazebo and trees. Michele and her mother Linda are kind, respectful and had awesome suggestions for vendors. We tried not to use their preferred vendors list, but no other vendors compared to the ones they have worked with! The nice aspect of the property is that they make their own wine and so have a tasting room near the areas guest can go to for cocktail hour while the ceremony space is being flipped into the reception space.

Giracci is a beautiful rustic site that is hidden in the hills of Orange County. The venue was perfect for our rustic affair, and we loved that we had several site choices that we could work with. We had our ceremony on the Stone Cottage Lawn, and the reception on the Wishing Well Court. The Giracci team worked to make sure that we have ever detail covered, and they really pulled our vision together. The site worked with us on a few different ideas and projects that were new to them, and it was a fun collaboration. The wine was delicious, we had almost no bottles left at the end of the night, and they have several great wines to choose from. I would highly recommend this site if you are looking for something that transports you a rustic location, and makes you feel like you are not in Orange County anymore. They do several events a year now, but never 2 events on the same day. My only critique is that sometimes communication was slow, but all in all we were so happy with the venue, and our guests could not stop talking about it...especially the locals!

To start, this venue is a very beautiful location to hold a wedding. The horses are stunning and the place is especially magical at night when the oak trees wrapped in twinkle lights sparkle. The venue is a fairly new operation and I think that over time they will get all the kinks worked out in terms of being responsive and getting organized. However, it was a pleasure to work with the owner's daughter, Michelle, who was an invaluable aid the day of my wedding. She even let me pose for pictures with her horse, which was such a treat.

The guests enjoyed themselves and liked having the freedom to explore the farm. A benefit of renting out the entire property was that it was a private affair, which was very important to me. A downside to the location is that it has a 10pm curfew. My guests were having too much fun and didn't want to leave that early. In the end, one of the major reasons I picked this venue was they allowed me a great deal of freedom to plan my event the way I wanted it. There wasn't the same cookie cutter-ness required that I found when touring other more frequented venues in Orange County. That is definitely a benefit of Giracci.

    Beautiful Venue... w/ some Issues

My husband and I got married at Giracci on 6/25/22. Let me start out by saying our wedding was amazing and the venue is absolutely stunning! However, we did run into a few issues along our wedding planning journey - mainly being unexpected expenses. We were not told that we would have to pay for the lighting in the barn ($1500) and it wasn't completely clear to us that we had to buy Giracci's wine for our event (as opposed to buying from 24 Carrots who is the exclusive caterer). These expenses weren't disclosed to us until about 2-3 months out from our wedding which was surprising and disappointing. You also have to use exclusive vendors for both catering and rentals which are a little more expensive than we we thought they would be - however 24 Carrots staff is absolutely amazing and the food was fantastic! The communication is also a little lacking with Giracci - they are slow to answer emails, but they do get back to you eventually.

I don't want to sound super negative because the venue is amazing - but these are things I wish I was aware of when I was planning, so I want to pass the info along! Our wedding went off without a hitch - other than the barn being pretty hot during dinner, but it was June so what can you do. Just be aware that there is no AC in the barn or grooms suite (however there is AC in the bridal suite). I would suggest hiring one of the preferred wedding coordinators because they really know the ins and outs of how the venue operates.

    Giracci Vineyards and Farms's reply:

Thank you Molly for your feedback. Based on your comments we have made some changes. One is that we are going back to recommending that you use a wedding coordinator from our list. That was definintely a good recommendation on your part. It is very clear in our contract and in all of our literature that all wine must come from the winery. Afterall we are a winery. The wine is removed from the bar package of the caterer and there are definitely benefits for buying your wine from the winery. We have found that some people dont read the contract so now based on your comment we have a separate signature initial line for the wine as well as the lighting and other things so brides and grooms don't miss the fine details and are alerted to read those parts of the special event agreement. Most of the lighting is included in our venue fee however some weddings do add additional. You do not need additional lighting, there is plenty of lighting and it is bride and groom choice to add it or not. We are very specific in telling you which lighting if there is any up while you are touring that is not included. We do not use email for communication as it is slow and we get hundreds of emails a day. For this reason we are also very specific to tell the bride and groom to text or call specific numbers and use our Basecamp communication system. Our response time using this text or phone number is usually within the hour or 2 if on tour or text within minutes.
We do have the option of air conditioning however it is not needed. Unless of course there is a heat wave. I did look back on internet and found that NASA reported June 2022 the hotest June on record EVER! Unfortunately we cannot predict the weather. We do look at weater 10 days out an recommend that you hod your event either outside if it is too hot inside or use a cooling system that is available though a rental company. There are several options that our usual planners know about. Yet another good reason in Molly's words to "hiring one of the preferred wedding coordinators because they really know the ins and outs of how the venue operates." They know all the ways to make your day perfect. Although it did not get to 100 degrees here below is the news report.

June heat wave reaches Southern California - CBS Los Angeleshttps://www.cbsnews.com › ... › Local News
Jun 26, 2022 — A heat wave swept through Southern California Sunday as temperatures soared above 100 degrees in parts of the Southland.

    Beautiful venue, but left disappointed.

Beautiful venue. HOWEVER, we ran into several issues after the wedding was over that left a bad impression of the venue. When we tried to get back our security deposit, the communication was SLOW and shady. We were uninformed of all the charges they had tacked on until we received the check (which was longer than the stated 30 working days after the event date).

First off, they they charged us an extra $150 to "repair/replace a barn wall with paint." After some investigation, I found out that my mom had tried to hang something on the wall, but one of the venue staff members informed her that was unallowed. The staff member then found a nail on the barn wall and told my mom to hang the decoration there. The venue tried to charge me for this thinking that I was unaware of the situation.... After speaking with Giracci, they stated they could remove the charge.
Second and MOST IMPORTANTLY, we had picked the fountain area as our ceremony site. However, during the wedding rehearsal 2 days before the wedding date, we noticed there was a swarm of bees around the fountain. Giracci staff members promised us that the bees would not be there that day, kindly informing us that the water in the fountain would be bleached on the day of and be rid of bees. The wedding date came, and the swarm of bees were still around the fountain even with the bleached water. An hour before the ceremony was about to be begin, my wonderful wedding coordinator made the call to change the ceremony site to a different area, since the bees were relentless. The ceremony turned out fine despite the last-minute changes. However, I was a bit disappointed since the florals we got were specifically made for the fountain, and not the other site. We had gotten no floral arch, since we had intended to use the fountain as the ceremony site. Giracci had the audacity to charge us an EXTRA $300 to re-set up ceremony chairs at a different site, EVEN THOUGH they were the ones who had assured us the bees would not be at the fountain on the day of. I believe this was completely unfair since they had listed the fountain as a FUNCTIONAL ceremony site, which did NOT turn out to be the case. Had we known it was not a feasible ceremony site, we would've picked a different site and obtained matching florals for that site... It was so WRONG of them to charge me an extra $300 for their mistake. When asked if they could kindly remove the charge, they said no and said that "the bees always leave at 3:30 pm. I know their schedule and the bees would not have been there during your ceremony." PSA: If you decide to pick Giracci as your wedding venue, do NOT pick the fountain area as your ceremony site unless you want to get attacked by bees on your wedding day. I was extremely disappointed in how Giracci handled the situation. They offered me some wine festival tickets, but could not return the money that was unfairly charged to me.

If after reading all this and you still decide to choose Giracci as your venue, please be cautious. The staff members are very kind, but the kindness can be deceiving. Nonetheless, this is still a beautiful barn venue with romantic twinkle lights. They have very strict rules, so make sure you read the contract carefully and thoroughly.

    Giracci Vineyards and Farms's reply:

We take all feedback and concerns very seriously. After careful consideration and investigation of your concerns, we have found that the charges assessed to your security deposit were appropriate. I am surprised to see this review. Especially after an earlier telephone conversation occurring between you and one of our staff members and 2 conversations, I had with you personally regarding your wedding invoice fees and day of charges. At the conclusion of our conversation, you did not express any other complaints and appeared to be satisfied with our goodwill gesture and offer of the tickets to our OC Wine and Spirit Fest and a courtesy refund of the wall damage fee. In conclusion - with the acceptance of our offer and no further questions - you and I agreed, and we considered this matter to be closed. After seeing this review, I contacted you and you texted me back stating that if I gave you more money you would remove the review.
Your advice to read the contract is good advice and for that reason we asked you to initial each area. Your contract stated that you read all sections. All the sections addressed the changes made to your security deposit. It is very rare that we have additional charges to the security deposit. I do understand that this was due to some damage and that is why you have event insurance. However the largest charge was one that you requested for an additional hour of wedding time.
I will address each of your concerns below.
    1. Addition Use Time-
    a. On review of your final timeline for the week of your wedding, it was noted that your wedding was 1 hour over your contracted time.
    b. Your contract noted 5 hrs of event time.
    c. Your wedding/timeline was 6 hours.
    d. It is noted in your agreement that any additional time would result in an additional charge.
For these reasons this fee was found to be appropriately charged.
    2. Fee for Cleanup of Vomitus/Hazardous Waste- 4 episodes of VOMITING
    a. Your contract noted that if there is an additional fee for cleaning services beyond reasonable and routine cleaning there is an additional cleaning fee.
    b. 4 episodes of vomiting is out of the ordinary and biohazardous waste/vomiting requires special cleaning.
    c. We are required for the protection of your guest to use special staff and cleaning methods for cleaning BIOHAZARDOUS WASTE DUE TO COVID RULES
    d. Staff was accessed to for this cleaning 4-5 times.
For these reasons this fee was found to be appropriately charged.
    3. Damage to Wall-
    a. The contract (see section 9) states you cannot affix anything to any surface.
    i. Your sign was noted by staff affixed to the wall.
ii. The $125 fee (not $150) was refunded to you as a courtesy.
For this reason, this fee was refunded to you as a courtesy.
    4. Additional Fees For Services Incurred/Reset of Ceremony Space-
    a. A reset of your wedding Ceremony set was requested by you/your representative 1-2 hours prior to your event.
    b. Staff tried to let you know that there would be no bees at the time of your wedding.
    c. In the first paragraph of your contract, it notes that” The final amount may change based upon additional service rendered and or goods purchased.”
    d. Additional staff had to be called in to reset your event space incurring an additional cost.
    e. As we are required to retain video and pictures of these occurrences by our insurance for risk management purposes, we pulled that video for you.
    f. It was your choice to move the site. It was an additional cost to the venue based upon additional service rendered and therefore we found the charge to be appropriate.

    5. “Staff members are very kind, but kindness can be deceiving” Honeybees.
    a. Although the bees were not present at the time of your wedding, as assured by staff, bees are always present in a rose garden. This is how flowers are pollinated.
    b. There have been many weddings/events in this area before and after your wedding.
    c. Section 11 and 13 of the contract addresses risks and acts of God.
    d. Our staff was honest with you and as you noted “very kind".
On leaving the venue you said you had a fabulous day AND EVEN PROVIDE GRATUITY TO STAFF.
I WOULD WELCOME ANY FURTHER CONVERSATION YOU WOULD LIKE TO HAVE.
    BEST REGARDS,
    LINDA KEARNS AND STAFF
