  We LOVED Ginger Tulum!!!

  Just… WOW. We booked Ginger Tulum for our wedding on February 17th and to say it was a great decision would be an understatement. Ginger Tulum was absolutely incredible! We opted for the Mexican BBQ served family style, which was so AMAZING and so much fun! It got everyone involved with each other at the table and helped us really fellowship over food. They supplied everything we needed—beautiful plates, silverware, etc. And the food itself—truly phenomenal to say the least. We had more than a few people come up to us to tell us this was the best food they have had at a wedding, and we 1000% agreed. It was actually some of the best food we’ve ever eaten in Mexico. All the meats and veggies were cooked to perfection, highly recommend the steak!! The salsas were fantastic, the ceviche as well, the guacamole…whewww. Literally every item was incredible. There was also more than enough food and everyone felt full and happy. In addition to dinner, we also got canapés for cocktail hour (SOOO good) and the bartending service (if you’re doing cocktails—highly recommend their passionfruit mojito! But everything they made was fantastic.) They even provided a bar upon request. The service for all of this was absolutely incredible.. I don’t think anyone had to even wave anyone down for anything, as they were so very attentive. I could go on and on about our experience, but just take it from us—Ginger Tulum was one of the best choices we made for our wedding, no doubt. You won’t regret booking them! Thank you all so much!!!

  The best food I've had in wedding

  We had the best food we've had in weddings in our own wedding! Morgan provided catering for our destination wedding in Tulum last friday.
  Our planner told us many time that Ginger is the BEST catering in Riviera Maya area but we were still impressed by how good the food was. The food was in large protions and tasted fantastic just like fine dinning restaruants. Not only the food tasted so well, the plating was so well done to the highest standard.
  The bartender service and waiter service were both the best you can imagine too.
  I highly recommand Ginger to anyone who's having weddings in Riviera Maya area!

  A familiar friend…

  Ginger Catering was very attentive to our desires and needs. Their food selection was really varied and allowed us to customize a menu that worked for all of our different dietary restrictions while also giving our guess in authentic Mexican delicious meal. When we went to Mexico to do our tasting, Javier and Morgan invited us into their own home, which felt so welcoming and wonderful and comfortable. They felt like familiar friends and everyone at our wedding could not stop talking about how delicious the food was. Their entire staff was super kind and professional on site and we wish we could give each one of them a big bear hug if we could highly highly highly recommend.

  The perfect experience!

  Thank you ginger team. Our food at the wedding was talked about for days! The filet, the fish the chicken all were delicious and the salad ... oh my gosh it was great! Tacos were a great late night snack and sooooo good!

  Wedding catering was amazing!

  Our food was SO amazing for our wedding! We had about 45 people, we decide family style. It was truly SOOOOO good! Best food we had during our entire stay! All our friends and family still talking about it. THANK YOU!

  From emails, to the tasting, to the wedding night, Chef Javier was a pleasure to work with. The entire Ginger team exuded professionalism and dedication. We were surprised by their quality of service and food! Our guests still think about the food months after the wedding.
  We felt like family when Javier and his wife hosted us in their home for our wedding tasting. Not once did we have any worries about catering because Ginger catering inspired such amazing confidence. Thank you for feeding our family and guests for our wedding night. We will always recommend you!

  Best wedding food ever!

  On our wedding planner's recommendation we were introduced to Ginger catering. Morgan and Javier were prompt and responsive. After simply looking at the menu we were sold! We had a video call with both Morgan and Javier to discuss the menu options more in detail. They were flexible, provided good input, and were able to make a few changes to fit our guests' needs. It was also nice to have dinnerware, flatware, and barware included. They are so passionate about what they do and ultimately that came through in their work on our wedding day. From the welcome drinks to the family-style dinner, no one was disappointed. Honestly the best wedding food we've ever had! The bar service was excellent and the mixers they provided were flavorful and unique. Each component of the dinner was amazing. My personal favorite was the ceviche, which was fresh and some of the best I've ever had (after many years of traveling throughout South & Central America). I cannot recommend Ginger enough for your wedding catering!

  Ginger is the BEST wedding caterer! They made our wedding the best it could be!

  Delicious, friendly, and other worldly.

  Our amazing caterer was one of our favorite elements of our fabulous Tulum wedding! Ginger went above and beyond catering and elevated our wedding experience to a beautiful experience complimented by the most scrumptious bites you could ever imagine. Javier and the Ginger team provided the perfect curated menu for our guests to enjoy. But Ginger provided much more than just a menu; they provided peace of mind, clear communication, love and support in the planning process, and the most perfect moments for our guests to connect over a delicious meal.
  We met about a year before the wedding for an initial menu tasting and weren’t expecting how incredible the experience would be! We met in Javier’s gorgeous home and were welcomed with tequila and warm embraces. We instantly felt at home. We spent the afternoon in Javier and Morgan’s kitchen enjoying the most delicious meal we’ve ever had over fantastic conversation and connection. By the end of our time together, my husband and I were ready to pick up our lives and move to Tulum to be their neighbors! That’s how fantastic of a time we had! We would both agree, in all of our travels and restaurant experiences, that was one of our favorite meals we’ve enjoyed together. We knew we had to have them cater our wedding instantly; there was no doubt.
  We had a unique wedding planning experience with COVID cancelations and postponements, and at every step, they were flexible, supportive, and provided very clear communication, giving us incredible peace of mind. And the wedding meal itself, PERFECTION! We still have guests raving about the perfectly delicious canapes and family-style meal served at our wedding. Javier’s team ensured we were well fed with personal deliveries of canapes and snacks while we took pictures and mingled with guests. We chose the family-style Mexican barbeque option, and it was perfect! Everyone got to enjoy an array of perfectly cooked meats and sides. We loved the family-style serving option because everyone got to build their perfect meal, and passing around dishes with the help of the catering team created a more intimate, family-like dining experience. It elevated the magic of our wedding from just a catered meal to a space where we could connect, laugh, and rave over each meal element.
  We cannot stop singing Ginger’s accolades. Our wedding night was the most magical night of our lives and to share those moments over delicious, curated bites, full bellies, and warm embraces was everything we dreamed of for our wedding plus more.   We got married in Tulum and used Ginger Catering for our wedding. Ginger Catering was highly recommended by our wedding planner (Synda at L&L Your Wedding Planner Tulum) and we were told was the best catering in Tulum. We can now agree to this!! Last year we came to Tulum and were able to do a food tasting with Ginger which was so so so good. We got to try so many amazing dishes and left stuffed. They had many options for wedding catering and we decided on passed apps for cocktail hour and the Mexican BBQ for the dinner which was family style and AMAZING! Everyone loved the food and the staff. Highly Recommended to anyone getting married in the Tulum area!

  Best Catering in Tulum

  We were fortunate to have Ginger cater our wedding in Tulum and we were thrilled with the results. They came highly recommended by our wedding planner (Synda at L&L Your Wedding Planner Tulum) and now we know why. Chef Javier's entire meal was fantastic. Appetizers, entrees, sides, and even dessert were all excellent (don't miss his Pan de Elote! It's off-menu, and we found an interview online where Chef shares that it's his wife's favorite dish, and made a special request to have it alongside our wedding cake and it is so delicious!). We chose an assortment of grilled meats and a fresh catch fish, and each dish was rich and flavorful. We also loved that the meal was served family style so there is ample food for all. We received so many compliments from our guests about how great the food was. And they accommodated dietary restrictions with no problem. No one went home hungry (even our vegetarian friends!)! Chef also offers a fun late night touch-- we surprised our guests with a second meal of midnight tacos (which were so delicious!) and it kept the dance party going into the morning hours. Do yourself a favor and hire Ginger to cater your wedding dinner in Tulum-- their food is the best, their staff offers excellent service, and you will leave thrilled with the results.

  Chef Javier is the absolute best!! From the moment my husband and I entered his restaurant for a tasting, we knew we had selected the perfect caterer for us. Javier greeted us warmly, and presented us with 6 dishes as a sample of his style. We literally ate every last bite off our plates, everything was delicious! On the day of the wedding, Javier and his team were incredible. Everyone was so friendly and efficient, all of the plates came out beautifully, and guest after guest exclaimed it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding hands down! Javier was so kind to accommodate the tastes of a wide range of kids, two vegan guests, and some guests with dietary restrictions with ease. It is so nice to work with a team who clearly enjoys what they do, and it really showed both in the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service. Thank you Chef Javier and team, you helped to make our wedding as perfect and memorable as we could have hoped for!

  Chef Javier is the absolute best!! From the moment my husband and I entered his restaurant for a tasting, we knew we had selected the perfect caterer for us. Javier greeted us warmly, and presented us with 6 dishes as a sample of his style. We literally ate every last bite off our plates, everything was delicious! On the day of the wedding, Javier and his team were incredible. Everyone was so friendly and efficient, all of the plates came out beautifully, and guest after guest exclaimed it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding hands down! Javier was so kind to accommodate the tastes of a wide range of kids, two vegan guests, and some guests with dietary restrictions with ease. It is so nice to work with a team who clearly enjoys what they do, and it really showed both in the quality of the food and the friendliness of the service.   I got married in Tulum and we used Ginger Catering. Hands down, the best meal we had all trip, for ALL our wedding guests. No one had a meal that topped Javier's Mexican BBQ. It was so tender and delicious. We so wanted to get to their restaurant, but didn't have time due to the tours/activities we booked.
  
  I HIGHLY recommend Ginger. Not just for their amazing food, but for their amazing service. They absolutely made my life easier for my wedding; they assisted me with transportation, my rehearsal night, their servers were amazingly attentive. Their bartender was great too, our 35 guests went through 5 bottles of tequila --- we couldn't get enough of their margaritas!

  When we began planning our wedding, our planner's first recommendation for providing the food was Chef Javier at Ginger Restaurant. We visited Tulum one year before our wedding and were able to sit in the restaurant with our planner while being served some samples from the incredibly delicious menu. The food was so good that we never even considered another option and we didn't ever second guess our choice. Ginger provided us with several catering options and even let us create our own custom menu for our wedding.
  Javier and his team arrived on the wedding day and prepared appetizers for a cocktail hour and a plated dinner for us and our guests. Everything was so well done and it was the perfect meal to share with our family and friends. The servers were very courteous and always ready with the next beverage.
  We can't recommend Ginger enough to cater a wedding or event. In addition to the amazing food and service, they are great people to work with. At the very least visit the restaurant when you go to Tulum.

  We booked Ginger to cater their Mexican BBQ for my daughter's wedding on the beach in Tulum. I can not say enough great things about Javier and the Ginger team. The food was FANTASTIC - many people told us it was the best food they had eaten on the trip. His people were beyond WONDERFUL. We had the meal served family style (fresh green salad, ceviche, gaucamole, salsa, Mayan grilled chicken, steak, conchita pibil, and black beans. It WAS AWESOME!!!! We also had them provide the bar service. They have several bar options, but we opted to provide our own liquor, beer and wine and they provided mixers, water, etc. We served tamarind ritas, regular ritas, beer and wine.
  
  The dinner was set for 7:00 pm. They arrived with all the dishes, food and grills around 11:00 and started cooking. They hand washed every glass to ensure it was spotless. After we set up the tables with linens and decor, they added all the place settings and set up the bar. We had a pretty large rain shower headed our way, so around 5:00 and Javier had his team install large tarps over the terraces our house to keep everything dry. We kept them up throughout the evening and it worked great. They just hung right above all the lights we had up and it really created a nice look (they weren't cheapie blue tarps - these were huge silver tarps so they looked nice).
  
  The bartenders were a hoot, fun and on top of things like you wouldn't believe - dancing and having a blast! They seemed to really enjoy the party and they mingled with guests to get drinks for people before folks even needed to step up to the bar ask. They also stayed afterward and picked up all the linens, candles, tables, chairs...everything!! They swept the patio and bagged all the trash - something I wasn't expecting them to do, but I loved the help and it saved us a ton of work the next morning.
  
  In short, if you want fantastic food and amazing service, Ginger is the way to go!! ❤️
