Absolutely wonderful
Gina was a pleasure to work with. She was very responsive and easy to work with. She was also mindful of our budget which is greatly appreciated. We found her through some mutual friends who she made beautiful cakes for and I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out. Her work of art helped my vision come to life for my daughters first birthday. Not only was it a beautiful cake but it tasted amazing too!!! Looking forward to having Gina bake for all our future events! -

The absolute best!
Gina is absolutely AMAZING!! She is beyond talented and so wonderful to work with! She made close to 200 individual cakes for all of my wedding guests!!! I had always wanted individual cakes for my wedding and the cakes Gina made were exactly what I imagined!! They were so beautiful and delicious….guests are still talking about them! Gina is just the kindest person. She is so fantastic to work with and made the whole process so easy! Book her for your next event!! -

My fiance and I could not have been happier with the service, professionalism, and most importantly, the tastiness and quality of Gina's desserts. Her cake was picture perfect for our wedding day, a feat made more impressive by the fact that she delivered it by hand to our ceremony up in Santa Barbara!
Cake sampling was a delight, and we had a heck of a time deciding which of Gina's cakes was the best. Whatever flavor profile you decide, I believe you'll be impressed with Gina's skills! -

Absolutely phenomenal.
Gina‘s cake was absolutely amazing, She went above and beyond to capture the exact cake that I wanted. I met with her and she is absolutely a doll. I got so many compliments on my cake and everyone was raving how good it was. Her Italian meringue buttercream is to die for. -

Gina made an amazing job during my husband's 50th birthday party.
Communication with her was fast and easy. Immediately, she asked me the party's theme and any proper details, proving her business´ experience.
The estimate was sent promptly and according to our budget.
The crew showed up perfectly on-time and prepared.
My husband and guest were delighted with the desserts. We could all tell there was a piece of Gina's heart on each bite.
Once the event finished, the crew showed up and took care of everything.
Gina, thank you for helping me making my husband's surprise birthday party soooo perfect... -

Most delicious, gorgeous cakes ever!!!! Cannot recommend Gina and the Bean enough for every occasion! I used Gina for both of my kid's birthdays, and gave her very specific themed cakes. She went above and beyond with the most wonderful and tasty creations that were the talk of the party! Everyone commented on how delicious and fantastic they were! Her attention to detail is unparalleled. Hands down best vendor you will ever find for custom cakes! -

Gina is so awesome, I’ve used her for several of my parties and have been to a handful of events where she was the dessert vendor and OMG!!!! First of all, she is the absolute nicest person I know and is so delightful to talk to and work with, second of all, her desserts and especially her cake are beyond this world, so yummy! Lastly, she really knows how to work with your theme, people can Pinterest this stuff all they want but her creativity is really original and Gina takes pride in her business and her art. -

Gina made the most delicious two tier, red velvet cake for my wedding! My husband and I adore red velvet and Gina’s is now on the top of our list. We planned our wedding remotely and never had the pleasure of meeting Gina or tasting the cake before ordering it, but I’m so happy we chose her bakery. She made the entire process so simple, delivered on time, and placed my flowers and cake topper perfectly. All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed the cake and couldn’t stop complimenting it. Thank you, Gina!!! -

Absolutely Delicious and Professional
Gina and the Bean did our backyard wedding reception and it was fantastic experience. We did a tasting beforehand, and frankly it was hard to choose because everything was delicious. On top of absolutely delicious desserts, Gina was prompt, professional and prepared. The dessert table was fabulous. You know it’s a success when the table is empty at the end of the night. The desserts were beautifully arranged and very high quality. We couldn’t be happier. -

Gina is the best!!!!
Gina and her cakes are AMAZING! As my husband and I were in the process of searching for bakeries to create our wedding cake, thankfully Gina was recommended to us by our wedding coordinator. My husband called a number of bakeries on the phone to receive estimates, and was becoming increasingly stressed after each call. Once he spoke to Gina, he had a huge smile on his face and immediately knew that she was the baker we had been looking for all along! Gina is so sweet and was more than helpful and generous every step of the way. We greatly appreciated all of her help and quick communication. Gina did not try to overprice us simply because we were looking for a “wedding cake”, as so many bakeries we had called beforehand were seeming to do. She offered to meet for a cake tasting (All of which were so delicious!), offered to make us a similar cake as we chose for the wedding, for our 1 year anniversary, and drove out to San Juan Capistrano for the cake delivery on our wedding day! Everything about our experience working with Gina was so wonderful and we are so grateful that she was able to create our dream cake for our dream wedding! Gina, you are The BEST! -

Gina was a delight during our tasting! We met at a local Starbucks and she treated my fiancé and me to a tasty beverage to go with her delicious cakes. She brought a nice selection of 4 kinds to taste. Chocolate, vanilla with lemon filling, vanilla with Carmel filling and chocolate chip cookie cake!! They were all SO delicious we still haven’t decided which we will pick! If you want a friendly, amazingly talented, and someone who will work with your budget then Gina is hands down the baker for your wedding! Thank you GINA!! -

Gina and the Bean....where do I begin! I am a local event planner and florist and met Gina about 6 months ago through one of my preferred caterers. She swept me off my feet at the tasting! Her desserts are wonderful in every single way. She has since done multiple birthday cakes, family gatherings, wedding cakes, dessert bars, and even the cutest tea party for my little princess and her friends! Every time I have booked her for something different thinking she has it no problem, she surprises me with an even bigger and better dessert and display then I imagined! She now handles ALL of my couples and clients desserts. Her prices are spot on, desserts are beyond fab, and to top it off she is the sweetest!!! -

I cannot say enough positive things about Gina and the Bean.
First - the deliciousness of the cake. Wow, we were blown away. We ended up going with vanilla/carmel and chocolate/chocolate - they were both outstanding. The quality of the ingredients Gina uses is clearly top notch. The cakes are so moist and flavorful - not overly sweet like a lot of cake you might find at a different bakery. Gina is such a talented baker.
Second - Gina is SO sweet and easy to work with. She went out of her way on so many levels to provide friendly, professional service at our convenience. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, so working with a vendor as easygoing and on top of it as Gina makes the day-of so easy!
Third - super reasonably priced. We did a fair amount of shopping around for cakes until we found Gina. Her cakes were the best in quality and value. While other places were not flexible with budget, Gina worked with us to fit our budgetary parameters. The cake was beautiful, tasty, and within our budget.
I would highly recommend Gina and the Bean to anyone who needs a cake at their next party! You will certainly be pleased! :) -

Pastries from Gina and the Bean are simply delicious! They taste fresh and are beautifully made. I highly recommend them to couples for their shower and wedding desserts. You will not regret it!
