We had our Greek engagement party at Georgios and it was a blast! The food, staff and service were all wonderful. The banquet hall was also beautiful. Definitely recommend Georgios for your next event!

We had an absolutely amazing experience at this banquet hall! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The venue itself is beautiful, with spacious and elegant decor that sets the perfect atmosphere for any event. The staff truly made the experience unforgettable—they were professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. The girls in the office were super helpful in planning our special day! My questions were always answered quickly and I can truly say they are experts in what they do! They gave such great advice and ease during this whole process! The day of went better then I imagined! The food was SO GOOD! We had the Mediterranean Chicken and they accommodated any dietary restrictions for my guests! Everyone left stuffed! The room was beautiful and was such a magical night! Thank you Georgios! Planned so many Birthday's, Anniversary's and have attended many weddings at Georgios! Service and ambiance is always phenomenal. Rooms were just remodeled and love the colors and elegance. Food is delicious. They helped create my vision with all the specialty colors and themes. Their vendor list and day of manager's made sure our event's were the best. THANK YOU!

My wife and I had our wedding reception in the hall. Everything was excellent. Food, staff, and the banquet hall. The event staff was very easy to work with and helped my wife and I make sure we had the exact day we wanted. The staff during the reception were amazing as well. My guest actually came up to me to tell me how great the staff was, which has never happened to me. The food was amazing as well. Cannot say enough good things about the banquet hall. I highly recommend to anyone.

Georgios (entire staff) was amazing & made everything feel seamless. Incredible hospitality, responsiveness, flexibility, & pricing. My main concern was not being able to do a tasting prior to the wedding, but the food was great! Our guests had amazing compliments about the quality & quantity (family plated style). We’re still raving about our wedding, & we’re glad we chose Georgios!

We had our Wedding on Friday at Georgios and it was nothing short of amazing! The room is beautiful as is so we just added pops of color at the head table, gift, cake and memory table and napkins! We added uplights and a monogram and it just looked perfect! We had the Mediterranean chicken and it was so delicious! I'm still getting calls saying how good the food was! Kim, our head manager made sure everything went if without a hitch! Our bartender Jeff was super fast! Valerie and Stephanie in the office were nothing but amazing during this planning process! So many good spots for photos with our photographer and the hotel being attached made for an overall perfect choice! Thank you Georgios for a night I will never forget!

I am so happy that I chose to have my wedding at Georgios. Everything was beautiful, on schedule, and the food was delicious! I was a little nervous about booking them because they do not do tastings but everyone said the food was great, the fruit was fresh and the late night snacks came out right on time and hit the spot! Also, the ladies that work in the office are a pleasure to work with!

Georgio's was amazing! Their package included so many things that took the worry away from me. The cake was delicious and the women who worked with me seemed genuinely happy for the wedding. We saved a lot of stress booking with Georgio's! The food was DELICIOUS! If you are looking for a venue that has is affordable and convenient, this is the place for you!

We are so happy that we selected Georgios as our wedding venue! Our coordinators Tricia and Stephanie we so helpful with every little detail along the way. They answered any question we had in a timely manner. They were also super helpful in helping us navigate planning during the pandemic which made things even more stressful than normal wedding planning. Georgios provides a great value for all the services that they provide included in their wedding package. We appreciated that the hotel is connected to the banquet hall, which made everything very convenient for the wedding party and the wedding guests.

We had our 6/19/21 wedding at Georgios and could not have been happier! We are so thankful for the help, flexibility and understanding everyone that we worked with had. All that has happened in the past year has made things difficult for wedding vendors yet every time we spoke we were met with positivity and reassurances from the staff. This was SO appreciated while trying to plan, postpone and replan our wedding. Everything went off without a hitch the day of: everything was set up where we requested, and the staff was helpful and fabulous! The food was so delicious and there was so much, no one was hungry after! The venue is gorgeous and the dance floor is huge!! Highly recommend for all future couples!

My husband and I booked Georgios at the very beginning of when the pandemic hit and BOY did we hit the jackpot! We decided on this venue for multiple reasons: local for majority of our guests, military discount (so appreciated), beautiful rooms, and outstanding employees and personnel. Most importantly, when we went in to discuss how COVID may interrupt originally planning everyone on staff was beyond willing to safely make our dreams become reality. Tricia was amazing as our coordinator and answered EVERY and ALL questions I had with detail whenever I had them from the start of booking until the day of the wedding. They really made the entire process seamless which was one huge weight off the bride's shoulders! Going through the final details, they were more than willing to set up some personal things we wanted and ensured that every single thing was the way we anticipated. All of the wedding guests never wanted the night to end! We were extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Georgio’s for our wedding reception and we were beyond fortunate for their understanding, support, adaptability and guidance through planning a wedding during a pandemic. THANK YOU!! BOOK WITH THEM you really won’t regret it!

Even though we could only have 50 people attend our wedding due to covid 19 we still had a blast! The staff was very considerate, professional, and accommodating! Would highly recommend using them for your special day well worth the money :)

The ladies in the sales office were awesome with answering all of my questions and concerns. The venue is gorgeous and reasonably priced.

Georgio's was very accommodating and understanding. They had no problem looking into some things we thought about adding, and were able to change things easily. They answered all our questions, were easy to get a hold of (and quick to respond to emails), and incredibly friendly. Their checklist was super helpful. It was a great bargain for everything we got with them at such a cheap price. We could have had their centerpieces, but we created our own and had directions for how things were to be set up, which they followed greatly. We had paid extra for the purple uplighting, which ended up making our pictures pop so much more. They were totally worth it and I am so thankful for them. With their help, my wedding ended up becoming a dream come true.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. They have been absolutely wonderful so far. All my questions were answered within 24 hours. Everyone was so helpful at our meeting. They've also recently remodeled and the hall is stunning.

Our wedding at Georgios was fantastic! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Patricia was so patient and detailed while working with us, she took the time to answer all my questions and helped make the planning process go smoothly. The food was great, the ballroom was beautiful and everyone had a great time. We had a winter wedding so we were limited to indoor photographs. The indoor banquet lobby area was the perfect setup and we had beautiful pictures. The Quality Inn was fantastic as well. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating for us and our guests. It was a fantastic experience working with the Georgios team. They definitely surpassed our expectations.

Love them... first call wasn't that great, and almost had me choose another venue, but this one stayed on my mind, so made this my choice and had great service there after. All my guest loved the food, the servers are very friendly.

The staff at Georgios was wonderful and everything for our reception was perfect! We didn't do a taste test so I was a little nervous about the food but it was excellent!

Definitely the most reasonably priced venue on the south side of Chicago. We had a family style dinner, with an open bar, and chair covers.The guest count was just under 160 and it cost us less than $10,000. Of all the venues I looked at they give the best discount on off season weddings! They will work with you and your budget and won't try and sell you things you don't need. I highly recommend checking it out :)

I had my wedding reception here on 10/24/2014. I do not have one bad thing to say about this place, and did not experience one hiccup throughout the entire planning process or the day of, which seems to be rare. They accommodated everything I asked for and made sure everything went smoothly. Even some stuff that I messed up by not reading the contract they accommodated me for. So many of my guests said it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding, now I realize that has a lot to do with the bride, groom, wedding party, and guests but it still was an amazing venue and affordable!

My family has done 2 engagement parties at Georgio's! They are so friendly and helpful every step of the way!! Everything was perfect!

We used Georgios for a variety of reasons - convenient location, hotel attached, great reviews, and because they really help every step of the way. We live in another state so it was really important to us that we have a venue which is easy to work with and who will make the process as easy and as least stressful as possible. The staff was all very nice from the beginning all the way through the end. If I called or emailed I got a quick response and felt that the person who responded was really listening to and cared about what I had to say. Included in their reception package was table centerpieces, linens, assistance with set up, and the cake. I was a little nervous about the cake because the bakery that provides it has a really outdated and unimpressive website but the cake was great. The food was good, the bar was good. The head table server, Doreen, was fantastic. We also rented a photobooth through them which our guests got a total kick out of and they put together a scrapbook of the photos everyone took which we were able to leave with immediately. They provided checklists of what I would need to make the process run smoothly and then helped set everything up - from the escort cards and gift table, favor stuff, had the cake serving set and champagne flute exactly where they needed to be when they were needed. It was an easy experience working with them and worth every penny!

Boris did an absolutely fantastic job at our wedding! I would recommend him to anyone. Boris was very easily reached and easy to communicate with. Boris kept the dance floor packed all night, and made sure he played all the music that we requested! Amazing DJ!

I can not say anything bad about my experience with the lovely ladies at Georgios. They made sure all my questions were answered!!! Everyone loved all the little details we had at our wedding, the uplighting was amazing!! Food was awesome!!! Thank You guys so much.

I had my May 17th wedding at Georgios and could not have been happier from start to finish. We worked with Patricia who was amazing throughout the whole process. She answered countless emails for over a year of planning and was always very quick to reply and always accommodating. She has extremely flexible hours, including weekends and late nights for those who cannot make appointments during the regular work week hours. She was extremely knowledgeable and beyond helpful in making the day perfect. She always gave us her honest recommendations and never pressured us into doing something we did not want or need. I can’t say enough great things about Patricia.

The day of, Georgios staff set up all my decorations for me (which was a lot!) and made the room look exactly like I wanted with my own decorations and with the décor I picked from their vendors. I received so many compliments on how great the room looked. The head waitress, Mary, was just as wonderful to work with as everyone else at Georgios. She made sure everyone at the head table had exactly what they needed in addition to the parents’ tables and anyone else along the way. She took care of several potential disasters (unaccounted for guests) and made sure I had nothing to worry about the whole night. Everything went perfectly and it was amazing not to have to worry about all the little things. They took care of everything.

The food was wonderful. We served the filet and chicken and received many compliments on how great everything was. Georgios uses Naples Bakery and everyone was raving about the sweets table and cake; I had multiple people tell me it was the best cake they have ever had.

The value you get here for your money spent is unbeatable; the food is delicious, the service was amazing, there is a hotel attached, and a late night spot next door to head to after the wedding. Our guests all had an amazing time and we could not have been happier overall.

All of our guests raved about the food. We served steak and shrimp & it was beautifully prepared. Everyone said the food came out hot and the steak was perfectly cooked. The wait staff keeps the tables clean throughout the event, constantly coming to each table making sure that every one has been served, checking to see if anyone needs water or coffee & they do a great job of keeping the meal moving.

The room was also set up perfectly and in time for our event. Valerie has a great eye for laying out the room and knows exactly where to place the DJ/Band, sweets table, bars, etc.

Overall it was a wonderful experience working with Georgio's banquets.

My fiance at the time, now my husband and I had 5 venues picked out and Georgios was the last one on the list. As soon as we walked into the place it was a yes. Patricia was so helpful and willing to work with you and negotiate prices and things. She was awesome! All the other venues that we went to would not budge on anything. Patricia made sure we got what we wanted. Our guests were really impressed with the venue. They still can't stop talking about the food. We got plated family style and it was DELICIOUS! I was so happy with the food and the way they set up our room. The servers were so nice and accomodating. Very promt with getting food out to our guests. We didn't have to sit and wait a long time. The whole place is just phenomenal. I would totally recommend this venue for all events. I will definitely come back for other events. They really helped make our day really special. We are really appreciative. So happy we picked Georgios! The best part is that it is connected to the Comfort Inn so our out of town guests didn't have to go far. Plus we got a complimentry stay in the whirlpool suite. So happy we didn't have to go far either. I have no complaints and don't have anything negative to say. Georgios was the best choice.

Mr. George is one of the nicest, kindest, men I have ever met! He made everything spectacular. The Venue is beautiful and the food was great! Also, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I 100% recommend Georgios Banquets for your party needs.

Georgios Banquets is the perfect place for your reception!! Val was great and really helped make the wedding planning so easy and fun!! The room looked amazing and the food was phenominal!! Our guests are still talking about it today! Our head waitress was great and really accomodated to all our needs throughout the night!! Having the hotel attached is a definite plus too!!! I would recommend Georgios Banquets to all future brides!!!

I wouldn't have changed a single thing about the venue we chose. Georgios not only accommodated all of our wants and needs for our special day, but our guests who were staying at the attached hotel were taken care of as well. They made everything so easy for us, by allowing us time to make payments and giving us all that we had asked for without question. I received numerous phone calls and emails raving about the food as well, which is really important. We are frequent visitors of Georgios, because we have attended several events there... and I can honestly say I've never eaten anything bad. We had Filet and chicken for our guests and every steak came out juicy, tender and hot. The chicken was seasoned well, cooked to perfection and was moist.

We had our Ceremony, Reception and Hotel Block for our guest's to stay all at Georgios, EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC! The staff and service was great and the food is delicious - definitely a top notch facility where they make you feel like your event is the only event they have. Alot is included in their wedding package which made everything so much easier - the cake, a honeymoon suite for us and they even coordinate the lighting packages with you and linen colors. I loved how everything is upfront and the gals in the office were always there to answer my phone call and emails (all 100000 of them :) - Georgios made my wedding day so care free and wonderful, so happy we picked them - there are alot of places to choose from but this place is definitely well worth the cost. You get more than what you pay for. THANKS AGAIN GEORGIOS!

Georgios was absolutely amazing! They always answered the phone which made asking random questions that pop up through out the wedding planning process easy and stress free. Their staff was always very helpful and friendly. Georgios was a one stop shop for us, we had our ceremony in one room and the reception in another. Our guests only had to come to one location and with the hotel connected, we were able to reserve blocks of rooms too! The food is made on location and was great! The wait staff was very accomodating and efficient. I can't say enough good things- thanks Georgios for making our wedding day perfect!

Our wedding reception at Georgios was perfect!! They had everything set up exactly how we wanted it!! Planning the wedding was great with them. They were always there if I ever had a question or needed to stop by to pick something up or to drop off. We went with the family style dinner (which I was a little worried about if the food would be served cold) The food was FANTASTIC!! Your chicken & beef are plated and the sides are served family style! There was SO much food, i don't think anyone left hungry!!! Our wedding cake was included in our wedding reception too. Everyone raved how great the cake was!!
I really like this venue bc they are attached to a hotel which makes it SO convenient for guests to get a room after the reception! *we even had "take care" bags made for our guest staying at the hotel that front desk handed out when they checked-in to their rooms! Plus the bride & groom get a free honeymoon suite the night of the wedding too~ the room was huge, clean, and had a big whirlpool tub too
overall everything was great with them and i HIGHLY recommend using them!

Georgios was a great choice for our winter wedding! We had a fabulous time, the wedding planners Valery and Pat are so nice to work with, they answered my emails and calls very promptly making my wedding planning so smooth. We had our ceremony there too and it was so perfect for the winter in chicago, especially since everything you need is on their property. The wedding package included everything you want for your wedding, the cake, the bar, a honeymoon suite for me and my husband to stay in which was lovely. We had many people stay at the hotel which was great, they have free breakfast too, and we went to the bar zante after the wedding - so no drinking and driving and we did not have to worry about shuttle service, everyone was happy, still raving about the food and service too from georgios! Very affordable for their great quality and service!! You get what you pay for and more at Georgios!

We held a small wedding and reception (less than 100) just last Friday night (a week already? :) the wedding was in a small conference room adjacent to the small ballroom at Georgios. I think the room that we were in is much pretty than the others, the lighting is wonderful and it has twinkle lights...but back to the review...we had a cocktail hour which was nice and relaxing along with music playing. We then had our sit down dinner which was delicious and the staff were always on the hand but almost hidden at the same time. We then had dancing until midnight and we just had a great time! And then about 20 of our guests stayed in the hotel which was convenient and a very nice hotel....overall, so very happy with everything! Sounds like I am, right? I am! Thanks Georgios!

I have nothing but great things to say about Georgios. Their staff was extremely helpful in making my wedding day exactly how I dreamed it. I had certain things I wanted done and was in shock when I arrived at my hall and saw it was exactly the way I wanted it. They are readily available by phone, e-mail, and in person whenever I needed them to go over colors, seating chart, etc. At the reception, the service and food were phenomenal. We had a couple of guests with certain dietary requests of which were honored. It is a gorgeous place for a reception and was 100% satisfied with my choice! Totally recommend this to all brides!

We had such a great time working with Val and Patricia on our wedding! They were so helpful, they helped us with everything from my centerpieces to my DJ! Everything was so wonderful and we keep getting great feedback from all of our family and friends. They package at Georgios includes the gorgeous wedding cake we had and they have the nice hotel next door with a lounge open late. We all stayed at the hotel, no one had to drink and drive and we had free breakfast. I would definitely recommend Giorgios to everyone, and we hope to work together again!

Overall great experience

The venue was beautiful. I got a bonus because my wedding was in December. There were lit Christmas trees throughout the common areas. Valerie was excellent as she kept me very calm. She was patient, accomodating, and very helpful.

Georgios honestly is the place for your wedding. We had our reception here and we honestly are so happy. The food was so delicious.... I have never heard so many people say that they loved their carrots. The staff was so helpful... Patricia and George in banquets helped me so much with answering any question I had and also trying to find ways to accomidate me. The wait staff was great. the place was beautiful..... thank you GEORGIOS>........ this place it the best. They also have Georgios Comfort Inn in the same building... how awesome was that. My guests could stay overnight and not have to leave the building.

This was a great value. Our reception was held in one of thier banquet rooms which are very elegant with high ceilings. The service and food was exceptional. The price was competitive and I appreciated that this was one of few places who had an all-inclusive price. This also included our cake and an overnight stay in a beautiful honeymoon suite in the adjoining hotel, which made it even more reasonable when compared to other banquet halls in the area.

Best value and reception venue in Chicago!!! Our wedding will be talked about for years to come. The service, food, atmosphere were phenomenal!

I recently had my ceremony and reception at Georgios Banquets. The entire management staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Patricia was very willing to make anything she could happen. I could not have been happier with her. All responses to my questions and issues were solved in a timely manor and exceeded my expectations. The food was wonderful and for the value it could not be beat.

I did rate only a 4.5 on quality of service because of the service of the night of the wedding. Our "head waitress" seemed very inexperienced and most of my head table was not served their drinks during dinner. Also there was an issue with the head table being served 1st. My husband and I were not able to eat until everyone else was completely done and ready to dance because our food was served as we were greeting our guests (some of who were already done with their meal). This did put us behind time wise, and cut into the open dance portions of the night. There seemed to be no real "leader" to organize the wait staff. The other thing was that I did not see Patrica or any other banquet manager the whole night.

Even with the minor issues at dinner, it all worked out just fine, I would recommend Georgios to anyone. The room was beautiful! Overall I felt very important and that my money was being well spent.

Their pricing on the website can be a little deceiving, their packages include dinner, bar, cake, your wedding night in one of their suites at the Comfort Inn (adjoining) and gratuity. They were very willing to accommodate me in adding chair covers and Hors d'oeuvres to the package for a slight fee.

The banquet rooms were very pretty with the high ceilings. I had my wedding ceremony in the clarion room and then moved my guest to the starview room for the reception.

The location is a downside, it is right off of a busy street and since it is a hotel as well it needs to have ample parking which meant there isn't a lot of "nice" places to take pictures out side. They have a gazebo but the backdrop is still the hotel and parking lot. Each room has their own staircase that the bride and wedding party can walk down but its is great for pictures. It is all lit up and decorated.

Wedding guests will enjoy the beautiful venue, floor to ceiling, and the bridal party entrance from second floor staircases. The Chef is incredible

My husband and I chose Georgio's because not only is it beautiful and the food is amazing, but because we had friends get married there, and they could not stop raving about it and now I see exactly why. They even said their consultants recognized them at their table at our reception, which was touching in and of itself because it shows that they care about and remember the people they serve. Every consultant was so incredibly accommodating, never gave me a single worry in the world (and I am a worrisome, Type A, perfectionist personality), which meant absolutely everything when planning a wedding. Anything we wanted, consider it done. Everyone we worked with was so kind and accommodating, every question (and there were many) we had was answered in a timely manner. They all just went above and beyond. Our day was absolute magic, and that is in large part due to how well they run their business. I would recommend Georgio's to absolutely anyone. With my personality, I could not have been at any other venue than at Georgio's Banquets. I was always met with answers, solutions, and most of all, kindness every sing time I had in inquiry. Not to mention, our guests were so very impressed with the venue itself, staff, and the food. Georgio's staff offered not only a beautiful reception hall and great food, but they also offered peace of mind which is incredibly rare to find when planning a large wedding. I never had to worry about a single thing from our first meeting even up until the day after our wedding. I could never thank them enough for making our day such a dream. The staff made a huge difference on the most important days of our lives. We are forever grateful!!!

We had our reception at Georgios and are sooo thrilled that we did. Patricia was wonderful to work with. They made planning a wedding from out of state a breeze.

When I walked into the room I was blown away by how gorgeous it was! The food was fantastic - we had family style with roasted chicken, beef, garlic mashed, green beans, Italian sausage and mostacolli, chicken rice soup, salad, fresh warm bread. Yum!!! Everyone loved the food.

My only minor issues were that some of the waitresses were a little disorganized and some tables didn't get dessert and some didn't get wine for dinner and no one was told that this was all you could eat (don't think it would have been possible to eat more though!!)

Other than that minor thing, WONDERFUL!!!!

The staff at Georgio's were absolutely wonderful. They were nice and very helpful. The only problem we had the day of the wedding was when the divider was put up in the reception hall, they normally decorate the dividers with mirrors so it doesn't look like a divider. However, when we walked into the room the first thing I noticed was the plain divider with no decoration. So I thought it took away from the decor of the wedding. Plus one of the bartenders was an a""hole. But other than that the wait staff was very nice and helpful and they had all my favors out ready to go.

My fiancé Adam & I booked with Val at Georgio's last January for our wedding in 2016. Val gave us all that we asked for while staying within our budget. We have been to multiple weddings there and it was our #1 choice. Georgio's has everything we need to throw a great party for our friends and family.

A wonderful wedding! Valerie was a pleasure to work with and very helpful. Everything was beautiful. The only thing I would have changed is that I wish they would have served the head table first so my husband and I could have had time to walk around to all the tables instead of serving everyone at the same time. Overall though I would definately recommend having your wedding here!

Planning our wedding reception with Georgio's Banquets was very easy. They saw us for an appointment to look around with just an hours notice and Stephanie laid out the packages and options flawlessly with examples for us to see and feel. They were kind enough to allow us to promise a lower number since many of our potential guests were out of town and worked with us to do an impromptu food tasting at our request. As we continued to plan, Stephanie was by our side the whole time and answered all questions exactly how we wanted, "Yes, we can do that!" The reception hall was very detail oriented so that our hall was set up perfectly to our vision. To literally add the icing to the cake, Georgio's includes the cake with the room - which made the process quicker and easier. Enter COVID-19...Our reception was March 14th, the day things started getting crazy. We had no major problems and as our guests cancelled we added on many items like chairs, uplighting, and the monogram last minute to keep the room energy at its highest. Georgios was very accommodating. Our event space looked amazing and everything was laid out wonderfully as we walked into the room. Truly, our main complaint arose with the wait staff numbers during our reception. We were promised a dedicated head table waitress and definitely did not receive that service as none of us had drinks in our hands until 1.5 hours into the party. We also were not served our own appetizers as we greeted our guests. I would guess we had approximately 1 waitress/waiter per 4-5 tables, which was not enough. There also was only one bartender for a party of nearly 180 people, also not enough. Regardless, the wait staff remained after the reception ended to help us pack up the room and had good, kind attitudes. We had a nice stay in our complementary suite, nothing fancy, but it had a jacuzzi and a nice seating area and we slept well knowing none of our guests were driving post-reception. The following day we met with Mr. George himself to discuss a refund, as previously promised, due to the pandemic. I would be lying if I said Mr. George didn't attempt to strong arm us into settling for a very small refund compared to the number of guests we lost. However, upon a discussion we settled at a number that left us pleased. In retrospect, I can see it was very nice that we got a refund at all as it truly was not part of our contract, albeit an Act of God. Overall, we would absolutely recommend Georgio's Banquets. More over, we would work with Stephanie again in a heart beat - we can not say enough great things about this wonderful woman. Georgios is not the fanciest but is a GREAT value for the money - the room looked amazing, the food was pretty good, the drink flowed freely, the hotel is convenient, and we had a blast. I assume no one else will ever have to deal with COVID happenings again either, so you will likely have nearly a perfect experience.

Patricia was fabulous to work with. We live out of town so at times planning a wedding was difficult; however, Patricia helped us the best she could with everything. We had our shower there as well and had a few difficulties but Patricia helped straighten them out prior to the big day. Doreen was our head table waitress and she was amazing!! She was so sincere and helpful. We had a few last minute table changes that were set up wrong and she put me right at ease! All in all, they helped us with a perfect day! Everyone is still talking about the food!

Georgios was a great place to get married. It was very affordable, especially given the discount for March weddings. I like that almost everything is included in the per plate price (open bar, cake, orchid centerpieces, etc.). We had both our ceremony and reception there (in different rooms). The food turned out great. I really like that every room has a staircase, so that the bridal party can make a dramatic entrance. There are a lot of add ons that you can purchase to make the night even more magical. We added the ceremony package, a photo booth, chairs, and late night snacks. A few downsides: 1. Georgios switched florists from when we initially booked. They did not take any action to make sure that our centerpiece order was transferred to the new florist. Luckily, my wedding planner took care of the snafu, but I would've been quite upset if we didn't have centerpieces. 2. After our ceremony ended, our guests still had to wait 20-30 minutes before the reception room was open. So people awkwardly stood in the hallways until they could be seated. 3. The night of our wedding, we were required to pay for several plates as we were told some guests changed their entrees from chicken to steak. I would've hoped that the venue would not have been so quick to allow people to change their entrees last minute and the fact that my husband had to pull out a card while we were trying to enjoy and celebrate was a bit frustrating.

Reception was wonderful, food was great

My wedding was better than I could expect at Georgios Banquets. The only thing that could be improved is the food. I ordered turkey and beef roast for entree and the turkey was very salty. The venue was beautiful and Trish the banquet manager was helpful with wedding planning. The guest were happy to stay at the hotel because it is connected to the venue.

Review:

Georgios is a beautiful place with incredibly helpful staff to arrange the date. They are easy to talk with, you can call or email them, and the wedding planning went MUCH easier because of them.
Now, I will be providing a little bit of a thorough review, because there were several events that could have ruined the night. Note, the night was incredible regardless, but these are things that should be addressed.
I have one thing to say about where this venue needs improvement: The attitude of the staff on the day of the wedding. First, there was a gentleman working at the bar, a little older, and he had a bad attitude all night. Several bridesmaids, groomsmen, and other guests vocalized this. The bride and groom did not personally have any issues. There were also several guests who complained about the man "forgetting" to put liquor in the drinks. He was also rushing people away from the bar as they decided what drink they wanted. There was a woman working with him, and she was super friendly.
Then, during the dinner hour, a cousin of the groom didn't get dinner for forty-five minutes. Two members of staff, including the wedding coordinator, were notified, but nothing was done. On this note, they were also notified about the restrooms being out of soap which, with COVID and all, one would think they would prioritize the hygiene of a wedding of 150 people to prevent sickness from spreading. The soap was never replaced, and the mother of the bride had to bring in her own hand soaps to save the day.
Now, this is where things get ugly, unfortunately. The biggest issue we had was with the wedding coordinator, and this was for several reasons. First, many guests had issues with her attitude, as did bridesmaids and groomsmen. When items were being transferred from the ceremony room to the reception room, the wall was left open, so people stepped through it into the second room to transfer the items only to be scolded about not being allowed and having to walk all the way around. This didn't make a whole lot of sense, considering they were also being rushed from the room well before the hour they reserved the room for had expired. She even had the staff team working on cleaning up chairs and everything minutes after the ceremony had ended, interrupting the opportunity for photos until the parents of the bride and groom, as well as the photographer, said to just wait since there was plenty of time to clean up still. During the reception, she was throwing away random people's drinks.
At the very end of the night (11 pm), the family of the bride and groom were cleaning up when the coordinator yelled out to everyone "If you are not the family of the bride and groom, leave now!". The groom, not one to have his guests yelled at, especially when they were cleaning, told her, "We have the room until 11:30, we have a plan. Thank you." She was EXTREMELY hostile to this, approaching the groom multiple times to call him disrespectful and rude. It was honestly very sad that this is how she would choose to end such a lovely night. She later explained to the parents of the groom that if they hadn't left the room by 11:30, it would have cost them more, but it was the approach that was the problem.
Overall, Georgios I would give a solid 4.5/5 stars. The food was great, the drinks were nice, the rooms were gorgeous, and the staff planning the event were incredibly helpful. We never felt rushed about any of our plans, and the night went off without a hitch thanks to the incredible planners and vendors we brought from outside Georgios. That being said, the staff needs tremendous work. If you can assign your own coordinator or any other options, I would suggest doing so. The bar staff, there isn't much to say. They just need to have a more positive attitude on a Saturday night.
I hope this is helpful for lovely soon-to-be weds out there. Don't let negative people ruin your night. Turn the other cheek, cause this is YOUR day. :)

Georgios is fine, Quality inn left a lot to be desired.

For the price and look of the venue, Georgio's was an incredible choice! They were very helpful for the most part but the biggest issue I had with them was poor communication. They would tell me one thing and then change what they said and swear they "never told me that". The day of the wedding we had no one helping us or telling us where to go which was a little frustrating....We had a bridal suite that we never used because I didn't know we had it! There was not only miscommunication with me but also with the entire staff. We often had to repeat things to the other staff members which got to be frustrating when I assumed they would all be on board with everything.
I also had guests complain to me after the wedding that there food was taken away too quickly for them to eat and some who got up to dance a few songs came back and there cake was gone before they could even eat it! The same complaint was with them removing drinks that were full and left on the tables while people were dancing. The cake company they use (if you want a free cake) will only do piping on your cake. They do no detailing with flowers, leaves, etc. Expect to pay more for any color frosting besides white or ivory. I had a 3 tier ivory cake that I supplied the ribbon to and had my florist add material leaves on to decorate. When I went to slice the cake I realized that there was a layer of ivory painted cardboard in-between the layers and almost thought the cake was fake for a second! Very cheesy looking!
If you're planning for a wedding and reception at Georgio's like we did, know that you only get the ceremony room for 1hour with no flex time! We ended up taking our family photos in an upstairs room with a blank white wall because we could not stay in the ceremony room after the wedding due to another event being held. Thankfully we took all of our wedding party photos before-hand in a near-by park. They will tell you there is no where around their facility to take photos that looks nice other than a very small gazebo and they are right. They will let you take pictures anywhere in the lobby which does offer some nice backgrounds.
My compliments to Georgio's would be good food, friendly staff, beautiful reception room and for the most part very accommodating. My main recommendations would be get a new cake company, slow down your wait staff and better communicate the wedding day details with your staff and the bride.

Nice place and I liked the event planners. Wished they were around for the actual day though. Only problem I had was with the wait staff. Some of them were rude, especially the head waitress--she was an older lady with blondish/gray hair. I believe her name was Mary. Despite that, overall it was nice day at a good place.

It might be a pretty place but they really don't seem to care about making people feel less stress about their wedding day. Even before the wedding, I was given conflicting information regarding how many seats I can have fitted in for my ceremony and even the day of the ceremony no one seemed to know that answer either.

The day I got scheduled for my rehearsal, I show up and the room is being used and the side room isn't even open. When I asked the owner about it, he treated me like crap. He laughed in my face and told me that I wasn't suppose to be there and it was my mistake. He then told his staff that I was making a scene when all I did was ask if he could please open the room for me. I couldn't believe an owner would treat a paying customer like I was an annoying child. I'm sorry, I paid for my rehearsal space and time, I think I deserve it have it and not have to ask for it to be ready when I get there!

My guests ended up decorating for my reception, including putting out centerpieces because no one there seemed to know or care. I even saw one of my guests sweeping the floor!!!!! There was no sign or indication where my wedding was, so I had random other people trying to walk in on my ceremony. And there were no water glasses at any tables when guests sat down and my own Mother was told they were still being washed when she asked for one. And then, of course, the wedding date on my photo booth was wrong, so now my guests and me have pictures with the wrong dates on them.

No one at this venue cares about making your day nice, I would rethink having an event here.
