I could not have imagined my wedding day coming together like it did without the help of Heather and Mary Ellen. I really appreciated all of the time and energy Heather put into making my day exactly what we wanted. She helped walk us through the process and made everything less overwhelming. Her experience and suggestions were so helpful in guiding us on making decisions for our own day. The day of our wedding was perfect - some of my favorite photos were candids Mary Ellen & Heather took and shared with me. Mary Ellen with Georgia Grace Weddings was the absolute perfect wedding planner of my dreams. I contacted Mary Ellen with just under two years to go for my wedding. I was not local to Athens where we were having the wedding so it was important to me to find a local planner. Mary Ellen was so connected in the city and helped me find the most incredible vendor team. The weeks leading up to the wedding Mary Ellen was in constant contact with me and was always there for me. On the day of the wedding she was a true rockstar. I never knew of any mishaps or anything that happened. She let me be in the moment and enjoy my special day. Mary Ellen now means so much to my husband and I and I hope to stay in contact with her for years to come. You would never regret hiring her for your wedding. -

We cannot say enough good things about the quality of the service provided by Mary Ellen Baker at Georgia Grace Weddings. She treated my daughter like her own - taking care with every detail that mattered to us. She immediately rectified the ONLY issue we had a few days before the wedding by being firm with a vendor about what their contract required. On the day of the wedding, every time I turned around there she was! Once again she made sure every detail was executed as planned and that nothing spoiled our bride's day. I would HIGHLY recommend Mary Ellen and Georgia Grace for your wedding planner needs. We LOVE her!

Mary Ellen is just simply the best! I am so thankful for her and her team. Hiring Georgia Grace weddings was truly was the best decision I made during our wedding planning process.They are the best to work with and helped me bring my dream wedding to life. As someone who tends to procrastinate, I needed someone to keep me organized and make sure I stayed on track. Mary Ellen handled all that seamlessly, never making me feel stressed or behind. She managed all the little details I hadn’t even considered. On my wedding day, Mary Ellen and her team were absolutely amazing!! They were always ready to assist with anything I needed..sometimes they just knew what I needed before I even did, ha! Their hard work and dedication made the day run smoothly and effortlessly...even when my dad throws a curve ball and dosen't tell anyone (even Mary Ellen until day of maybe even right before) that our getaway "ride" was a helicopter, ha! I highly recommend Georgia Grace Weddings to any bride looking for a wedding planner. I can not thank Mary Ellen and her team enough for everything they did for me! -

I simply cannot describe how truly grateful I am that Georgia Grace and Mary Ellen came into my husband and I’s life and planned our wedding. This day would not have happened without her and she was my wedding fairy godmother. She stood by my side the entire year and a half we planned our wedding and she wore ALL of the hats from therapist, to friend, to the wedding planning guru with the steady hand that helped guide our decision making process. Everyone was shocked I was so calm on wedding day, but I wasn’t. I knew Mary Ellen and her team had everything handled and she executed the day with professionalism and poise, even when faced with difficult situations and different family dynamics and personalities. I was permitted to just be the bride and it was the happiest day of my life, in large part thanks to her. We love her dearly and future brides would be absolutely remiss if they didn’t hire her to plan their dream day. -

Mary Ellen and the team at Georgia Grace were absolutely fantastic to work with. They listened to our ideas and provided excellent consultation on how to best execute our plans. Mary Ellen has great contacts across the industry and helped introduce us to fantastic bands, vendors, etc. On wedding day, she was in control. Her team kept us on schedule. Georgia Grace Weddings was a wonderful choice for our July 2023 wedding! From the very beginning their team was extremely organized, kind, and professional throughout the entire planning process. It was a joy to work with Melissa, and she always came prepared to every meeting with our venue! She was such an encouragement to my family and wedding party throughout our special day as well. There are not enough words to describe how amazing Mary Ellen & her team are. After 1.5 years of planning, our wedding day turned out so perfect & exactly how we imagined it. We honestly couldn't have planned our wedding day without her. From the start of booking, Mary Ellen created shared Google docs with every type of question & detail you could imagine. If you forgot a detail, don't fret - Mary Ellen will ask you about it. Flexibility, communication, and punctuality were on point every time! Please don't hesitate to budget in a coordinator/planner, and choose GGW because they were the best money we spent on our wedding! -

Mary Ellen had great advice for big and small questions. We got married at Georgian Hall in Athens, but had to do the planning long distance since we live in NYC. It's clear she and her team really know what they're doing. It was necessary to have someone I could trust help handle the logistics on the day of the wedding so that I could just relax and enjoy the day. In terms of budgeting for vendors, you should prioritize hiring Georgia Grace over any other bells and whistles. They added the biggest value to the wedding at a really reasonable price.
I can't imagine trying to coordinate the day of the wedding without Mary Ellen. She has a very kind and professional team. Also, the day after the wedding, Mary Ellen sent me a few photos she took behind the scenes. It was such a sweet and personal touch. -

I highly recommend Georgia Grace Weddings for anyone who needs guidance planning their wedding. They are so easy to work with, they specifically cater to you and your style to help you plan your dream wedding. I needed someone to help me stay organized, make a checklist and keep me on track and they did just that. We had a chance of rain for our outdoor wedding and Mary Ellen Baker went above and beyond making sure we had several plans in case we needed to change last minute. We had a perfect weekend and I couldn't have done it without her! -

Mary Ellen was able to pull of the wedding of all weddings!! Her team weathered the pouring down rain with us!! I was not stressed for one second on my wedding day, and got to enjoy the entirety of the special day. When I told her I wanted to walk down the aisle in the rain, she didn't ignore my wishes, rather made it happen!! Her team was extraordinary in making sure I was relaxed, ready and prepared for my grand entrance! I am so thankful that I was able to have such a pleasant experience on my wedding day. After the ceremony, they made sure to accommodate my husband and I with food, drinks and comfort for the rest of the evening. The best part was that they loaded all of the bridesmaids belongings, my belongings, and wedding parties belongings into vehicles for after the wedding was over!! Mary Ellen, I cannot thank you enough for your patience, kindness, and professionalism that you gave me on my big day and the coming months before! -

I don't even know where to begin, other than by simply stating that Mary Ellen and the Georgia Grace team were the key reason our wedding day and planning experience were so wonderful! Mary Ellen is not only organized, responsive, and professional, but she is a genuine and caring person, and both me, my now husband, and my entire family and bridal party loved working with her. As a bride trying to plan, and replan, a wedding during COVID, she helped pick me up when spirits got low, and motivated me and kept me on track when I didn't want to face decisions that needed to be made or work that needed to be done. When the day of the wedding arrived, I wasn't the least bit stressed (surprisingly, all things considered), because I trusted the Georgia Grace team and the other vendor partners they helped us select so much. Long story short - we so appreciate everything Georgia Grace Weddings did for us and cannot recommend them more! -

We could not have done this wedding without Jane! Throughout wedding planning we lived in North Carolina and couldn't easily get down to Athens to work with all of our vendors and visit spaces. Jane went above and beyond -- contacting vendors to ask questions and get information we had never thought about, visiting our wedding and reception venues to make floor plans and recommendations to us, and recommending vendors that aligned with the style wedding we envisioned. Jane was calm, proactive, positive, communicative, and an absolute joy to work with. Since the wedding we've said over and over that hiring Jane was the best decision we made. We could not recommend her more! -

Our wedding day was an absolute dream, and the thoughtfulness and care Georgia Grace put into ensuring that was the case was unparalleled to any other event planning team I have ever encountered. During the 11 months prior to our wedding, Mary Ellen kept in touch and checked up on us, gently reminding us of tasks that needed to be completed, providing wonderful vendor referrals, and offering lovely, creative ideas to incorporate personal touches into our wedding weekend. The support provided by the Georgia Grace team both before and during our wedding allowed me to fully enjoy every single step along the way and NEVER feel stressed about it. Even on my actual wedding day, I knew that everything was taken care of and I was in great hands- my friends kept saying I was the most relaxed bride they had ever seen, and that was entirely thanks to Georgia Grace Weddings. Amazing!
Where do I even begin?? We hired Mary Ellen almost a year before the wedding and she was there from day 1 to ensure our wedding went picture perfect. She is so sweet, kind, and very good at her job. She made sure everything was set up perfectly so none of our guests had to lift a finger to help on the wedding day. We had an amazing rehearsal and an even better wedding day. As soon as the reception was over, she met us at the end of the aisle with our favorite beverage and ensured we had a private dinner in the bridal suite. You honestly couldn't have asked for a better planner. She made my day flawless!!!! Highly recommend. -

Mary Ellen is extremely detail oriented with a timeline she constantly updated which is right down my daughter’s alley btw! She was wonderful to work with and very professional. She was fun and always took the time to listen to what my daughter envisioned and then perfectly executed every detail. Our guests had a wonderful time and we received many compliments on how the wedding day reflected the personalities of the bride and groom. As we reflect back on our daughter’s special day we wouldn’t change a thing...we had an awesome experience with Mary Ellen and we gained a beautiful friend! Morgan Sent on 07/02/2015I am so thankful I used Georgia Grace Weddings to do the rehearsal and day of coordination. Everything from Friday on went so smoothly and I didn't worry about anything. I knew what I was getting for my service but it wasn't until I experienced it that I realized we received so much more service than expected. I've been in many weddings and attended many rehearsals and this was in my opinion the quickest and easiest ones ever. Many of my attendants also made the same comment. The entire evening ran flawlessly and was perfect. I only used Georgia Grace Weddings for coordination but I wish I had of used them for full planning services as well. I know they would have had some great ideas and probably would have relieved the stress of planning a destination wedding.
