We LOVE Genesis!!!

We had the BEST experience with Genesis Diamonds! We love our rings and really enjoyed working with Terry. Genesis is super accommodating and can really get you a one of a kind ring! One of my small diamonds fell out during our honeymoon due to resizing. I brought it in as soon as we got back and Genesis was able to fix it within minutes! Their lifetime warranty is a game changer!! I’m so glad my husband picked Genesis from the start. Their quality and professionalism is unmatched! We love Genesis!

Great service!!

I can’t say enough good things about this jewelry store! My fiancé had a great experience shopping at Genesis Diamonds. The sales representative, Stasia, was very helpful with selecting the most perfect diamond and ring. They even had the diamond set in the ring in under 24 hrs! Fast forward to a week after our engagement, I reluctantly went back in to get my ring resized (I didn’t want to be without it after only having it for a short time.) The customer service representative, Liz, was so great with making sure I was selecting the appropriate size for my finger, and even taught me how use the jewelers loupe to see my diamond up close! They quoted a week turnaround time for my ring to be resized in house by their jeweler, Louis. He had it finished in 6 hours!! I was blown away and thankful to get my ring back so quickly!

Exceeded Our Expectations! Best Jeweler Around!!!

Eight years ago, I shopped around and felt that Genesis offered the best value and warranty for the money. As the process is overwhelming Stasia took the time to explain the differences in cut, clarity and style and worked diligently to find the best value for my budget. At the time, my then fiancée had her heart set on a Simon G setting (MR1506-Passion Collection). With Stasia's help, she helped me find something comparable within my budget.

Over the course of the last eight years, Genesis Diamonds has been there for my wife and has shown compassion when she was diagnosed with RA which affected her left hand forcing her engagement ring and wedding bands to be cut off due to the swelling of her finger. Stacey reassured her that they'd resize her rings as often as needed at no cost to ensure that they'd always fit just right.

This past year, when having her wedding bands resized, she casually asked if Simon G still carried the setting that had fallen in love with eight years ago. With only a vague description, Stacey at Genesis Diamonds was able to locate the setting and worked with Simon G to ship it to them in less than a week. As the setting was exactly as she has remembered, Stasia's helped us to pick a solitaire out that was within our budget. Upon completion of the ring, when we went to pick it up the diamond didn't compliment the setting as we had envisioned. With the help of Joey, Bassel and Stasia they quickly sprang into action to ensure customer satisfaction by collaboratively working together to provide alternate solutions.

From the very beginning, Genesis Diamonds has always exceeded our expectations. They're one of the few companies who values their customers and who demonstrates integrity and embodies their values. I can honestly say they have earned my loyalty for life and I happily recommend them to anyone looking to purchase jewelry for themselves or their loved ones.

Variety and Class at an Affordable Price

My husband bought my engagement ring here. They treated him so well and were so helpful that we decided to go back for our wedding bands. My husband is a German teacher and he found a Christian Bauer ring that he fell in love with. Stasia helped us and let us know that I could write a message to him inside and it would be in my handwriting. It made process much more special.

Wonderful!

We absolutely could not have picked a better place to get our rings! The service was fantastic, the pricing was not bad, you so get what you pay for and they did work out a deal with us as well! I cannot wait to get our wedding pictures back but until then I’ll post the ones we took! Truly great service and I will love our rings for years to come!

My fiancé and I were window shopping for rings 4 months before he actually proposed and we had already found a ring that I was absolutely in love with at Shane Co. We walked into Genesis with my mind already made up that I no longer needed to look for another ring until they started showing me their own selection of the style I fell in love with. They helped me decide on which size diamond would look the best and they were very personable. The prices were amazing and the payments were reasonable and we actually got a better deal than originally planned. I would refer Genesis to anyone because I got the most beautiful engagement ring and band out of it.

I got my engagement ring and wedding ring from Genesis and they were great to work with. When my fiancé bought the ring he didn't love the diamond when he got outside so he took it back and they worked with him to get the perfect diamond. They were very professional and helped with everything we needed.

I had a great experience at Genesis Diamonds. The woman who helped us pick out a ring was very attentive, showed us all types and styles of engagement rings, and was very aware of staying in our budget. She educated us on the cut, color, etc of the diamond we were buying and got us the best diamond for my personality and my budget. She was not pushy, but let me make the decision and let me take as much time as I needed.

We loved working with Elizabeth at Genesis Diamonds! She was always responsive to our needs in a timely manner and always professional. They gave a discount for ordering both the engagement ring and wedding band through them which was a plus. They also prepaid for shipping when my engagement ring needed to go back for some adjustments. Overall a great company to work with. I will definitely be buying from them again in the future!

I have been very pleased with this Genesis! We originally bought jewelry from the Genesis in Green Hills, which is where my engagement ring came from. However, we went to look at bands we found them to be very pushy and not helpful at all. We were so upset and we did not know where we were going to go from there. One day though I needed to get my ring cleaned so I decided to stop at the Genesis in Cool Springs. It was such a pleasant experience and Nadya has been absolutely incredible. We bought my fiances band there and will be returning. I'm so thankful for the high quality of customer service at this location. I will not be returning to the Green Hills location.

My engagement ring is so perfect. It is exactly what I wanted and more- perfectly suited just to me. When I finally got to actually visit Genesis diamonds I was very impressed with the quality of the products- really, they have the best. All I can say is..... AMAZING!! The quality and customer service is truly one of a kind at Genesis! I loved Genesis the moment I walked in. My husband and I went in the store to look at engagement rings and they were not pushy they did not try to sell it right away. They were their to guide us but they did not hover over us they wanted us to enjoy the moment. The next day they emailed my husband with a possible ring that they thought I would like and it was within his budget. He bought it right away. I also purchased his wedding band there. I would have received 10% off since my ring was purchased there but twice a year they have a sell and all rings are 20% off. I love the staff, I love the ring selection, and I recommend this store over all the other stores in Louisville!

We had a fantastic experience shopping at Genesis Diamonds. The staff were AMAZING! After going to lots of other wedding ring stores, we were unable to find anything we liked or any real help. This place went above and beyond to help us.

Genesis diamonds had such a lovely selection of designer wedding rings and the selection of engagement rings looked amazing. I ended up going for a Henri Daussi wedding ring and I just LOVE it!!!

Genesis Diamonds has absolutely phenomenal customer service, as well as an amazing range of really lovely engagement rings.

My finance and I recently decided to get engaged and, thanks to advice from friends who were previous Genesis Diamonds customers, we decided to give them a try. We are both very glad we did.

From the moment we entered Genesis, we were greeted warmly at the door and made to feel very welcome. Kelly helped us for almost two hours, allowing us to view and me try on any ring I desired. She even went to get some of the newest rings they had in stock (arrived that morning) for me to try on before they even went on display.

Ultimately, we felt there was no need to go to any other store after our experience at Genesis Diamonds. We settled on a beautiful engagement ring by ritani. I couldn't be happier with my ring or with the help and treatment we received in this store.

With absolute honesty, being a customer of Genesis, I have no problem at all recommending them to any couple. They have also secured our insurance that we will remain loyal and will return to Genesis Diamonds for our wedding rings.

We got the most gorgeous engagement ring from Genesis. The salespeople were very knowledgeable and interested in helping us find that perfect ring. One thing to note is we brought our own diamond to them (groom's great-grandmother's), and they still went out of their way to help us even though the sale was going to be small (comparatively). To prove that point even more, when we went back to buy the matching band, they could tell we weren't happy with the look and they didn't push us. They gave us other options and we couldn't be happier.

My fiance purchased both my engagement ring and wedding band from Genesis Diamonds in Green Hills. They were amazing to work with and very helpful. I had to get my engagement ring resized and a minor repair done, and they got both fixed in under a week. I would highly recommend using them.

Genesis Diamonds was VERY helpful! I love how much individual attention my husband and I received when looking for rings. They are helpful and great with customization, which is what we did.

Excellent selection and they have brands that are ONLY carried at select stores across the country (like H. Levi... b/c the owner is personal friends with him). I love that they know where their diamonds come from...I just love how much they seem to care about the quality.

Our orders were perfectly on time...and when my husband's ring seemed a bit too small, they were easy and quick to deal with. Plus we got chocolate with each purchase. Definite bonus. :-) I would recommend Genesis to ANYONE.

Loved the experience. And love the way they take care of the customer after the sale. They helped us design the exact ring we wanted. We went back to get his band as well. I go periodically to get the ring cleaned and polished. I work with my hand alot and my ring get very "banged up" and they will clean it and polish it for free every week if i wanted. They are awesome! Thanks. (And you can always upgrade your stone for the exact price you paid)

Everyone at Genesis is great. There is no pressure to buy. They let you try on as many rings as you want and they really do give you the best price. We shopped at other stores and were able to get a bigger and more radiant diamond at Genesis for thousands less. We also got a discount on our wedding bands because my husband had purchased my engagement ring there.

He bought my engagement ring from Genesis so naturally we wanted to get our bands here as well. Every time we have gone in; whether it be to size my ring or pick out bands, everyone has been so great to work with. Picking out bands wasn't as simple as I thought as there were so many options. The ladies we worked with went above and beyond showing me tons of styles they thought would match my ring. When they could tell I wasn't in love with any of the options, they actually showed me a band that could be custom made to match my engagement ring. I definitely recommend the entire team at Genesis!

Genesis helped us SO much with everything. Our consultant took the time to listen to our story and help us choose a ring that I absolutely love and will for years to come based on our personalities and concerns. This was our first choice as to where to buy the engagement ring and we were not disappointed. The representative who assisted my fiance and I was very helpful and friendly. We had a limit on what we were willing to spend and they worked with us to find something in our price range that we loved.

All the employees we interacted with at Genesis were extremely nice and professional. Because my fiancé bought my engagement ring from them, they offered us a 20% discount on wedding bands (even though several months had passed after he bought the first ring). They have many variations of each style, even for men's rings. They cleaned my engagement ring before and after I tried on wedding bands, and they will buff it for free just before our wedding.

My husband bought my engagement ring from Genesis. He was completely clueless on diamonds and jewelry all together, and they helped him pick out a great ring that I love. Another great thing about them is that they will resize anything you buy there free of charge as many times as you need. I think I've already had mine resized twice! They a good choice.

Very professional jeweler. My husband originally got my engagement ring from the store, and it was too big. He was consistantly at work when the store was open, so I went in to get it correctly sized without him. Everyone was so friendly, and helped me out immediately and processed it VERY quickly. All of the employees are so friendly and patient! My fiancé used the store in Louisville, KY. The pricing and selection is wonderful! We were able to go look together and they kept track of my ring sizing and the rings I had loved which made it easier when my fiancé went to purchase. They also offer interest free financing for 3 years at two different sales in the year.

My ring is absolutely gorgeous - such that strangers pick up my hand and gasp and say it is the most beautiful they have ever seen. That is both an amazing thing...and a little painful. I think that my husband had so much fun designing the ring. Our only frustrations were with ordering the bands - we did it in a timely fashion but kept waiting and waiting for the call they were in. It got very close to time for the wedding, so we finally went by the store...and they had apparently been there for several weeks and no one called. That was a bit stressful. Otherwise, I have found them to be very responsive in the store.

I could not be happier about my engagement ring and wedding band. I love them so much! Genesis has such a unique selection of diamond rings. I have never seen anyone else with a ring like mine. They are very professional and have great customer service. I can go in any time and have my rings cleaned quickly. They have replaced a couple of diamonds when they fell out and tightened up my center diamond when it sounded loose. I have not had any issues at all with the store.

It's the most beautiful ring I have ever seen. My fiancé knew it was the right choice as soon as he found it. The ring needed to be resized and it took 7 days. We got a call that during the cleaning, the center diamond became loose and they were going to fix it. It took 2 more days. It was the longest 9 days of my life, but I'm glad I have my perfect ring back!

We bought the engagement ring and wedding band from Genesis Diamonds in Green Hills. We are thrilled with the quality of the jewelry and I am continuously receiving compliments on how gorgeous my engagement and wedding bands are! I did think that the sales people could have been more professional at times. We felt very pressured to make purchases the day we were there both when looking at engagement rings and the two times we went in to look at wedding bands. Overall, we are happy with their jewelry, but we may try visiting a different location next time.

I work for a food delivery service in Nashville Tennessee my first time ever going to Genesis Diamonds was to look to deliver food to one of the workers I'm not going to mention his name he ordered food in rush hour traffic on Friday I text him let him know I was stuck in traffic and it was going to take me 30 minutes to deliver his food when I got to Genesis Diamonds and handed him his food he literally ran his eyes down my body and check me out and replied I'm going to make sure I give you a tip through the delivery app but to my utter shock he left zero tip after having the audacity to look at my body the way he did I was so not impressed with my first unplanned experience that Genesis Diamonds or the worker they have there

I love my ring but the service we received from Genesis was terrible. The second my now husband purchased the ring they were horrible to deal with. They didn't size my ring like he asked and blamed him for it then wanted to charge us an extra $1000 to size the ring because my finger size is small. Would not recommend.

Be warned! Never accept a discount at genesis diamonds!

BE WARNED...NEVER ACCEPT EVEN A 1 CENT DISCOUNT! ALL RETURN POLICIES WILL BE MADE VOID!!!!

I was referred to Genesis by a coworker of mine and had a good experience purchasing an engagement ring. While shopping the manager David and sales person Elizabeth, both stated how safe it was shopping their. If I wanted to upgrade the diamond later, I can. If need be, there was a 30 day return policy.

Unfortunately, the proposal was not accepted by my ex. Devastated, I took the ring back 7 days after the purchase. What I found out is as I accepted a "discount" on the diamond and ring, THE "30 DAY RETURN GURANTEE" BECAME VOID! I was also only given 1 day for an exchange.

The 30 day guarantee on the website and instore material deceptively leave out this stipulation. Their policy also states a 30 exchange period would be allowed, though they are denying me this as well.

When leaving their store David the manage left me with the following words after a horrible week. "I did and said what I needed to make a sale, now this is just business."

If I would have known how shady the business practices are at Genesis and how they go against everything they advertise, I would have stayed far away.

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FOR A SINGE PENNY OFF IF THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANGE YOU MAY NEED TO RETURN IT.

Disappointed with Dishonesty

Unfortunately I cannot, and will never recommend Genesis to anyone I know, especially newly engaged couples.

The staff is welcoming, but when it came to deeper conversation and questions, they consistently cut me off mid-sentence, and perpetually used a condescending tone.

I typically practice great due diligence as a cosumer (so I realize we are partly to blame) but because of the surprise my fiance was trying to create, I was not there to help him do the same. Lesson learned. Still, I cannot stand by and let their actions go unaccounted for, so I feel the only thing I can do is leave a review:

My fiance had every intention of fulfilling my dream engagement ring: rose gold, black diamond, simple. Best part being, black diamonds are significantly less expensive than their white counterparts. His sales 'expert' pursuaded him against buying a black diamond because they, "Have a tendency to crack and get easily destroyed", and to date she's had 2 women return with black diamond rings only months after purchase to return and exchange. Weeks later when he explained to me why he went with a white diamond, knowing I've always wanted black - I had never heard that before, so I conducted some research. After reading several articles and contacting 3 diamond vendors to confirm, I knew she completely lied. If anything, black diamond are more durable than white - less sparkly sure, but equally rated a 10 on the hardness scale. Her true intention was to push the more expensive, white diamonds they had in stock. Taking advantage of an unknowing, unsuspecting man who was just trying to do the right thing.

Additionally, our sales associate and the manager I spoke with when I returned to the store to consider upgrading my diamond framed a 10% discount as a 'favor to me'. Turns out, they always offer a guaruntee when it comes to ring upgrades, a 110% guaruntee on the trade in according to their website. That was more forgivable than the first offense, but just another example of the horrible way they do business.

I'm extremely grateful to my fiance, and had an incredible engagement thanks to him (the ring is just a plus). Still engagements are meant to be exciting, unforgettable experiences - and that being said, they place a considerable amount of stress on the individual doing the proposal. Genesis will take every opportunity to take advantage of, and exploit that in their customers. We will not be returning for our bands, and I plan on continuing to warn everyone I can against their establishment.

Be VERY cautious with their presentation of the "risk-free" and "30 day money back" guarantee. It's very deceptive. Each webpage is carefully crafted to suggest that you're safe... that you can buy a ring online sight-unseen and not worry. BUT, make sure you read the fine print: if you choose any ring size other than 6.5, it's considered a 'custom' order... in which case the guarantee doesn't apply. How can they offer 'risk free' shopping... and only offer that on size 6.5 rings? I also encourage people to google "boaz ramon nashville" and read about their business tendencies before choosing to purchase from Genesis.

Absolutely awful experience.
First of all, the salesman lied about the availability of the type of engagement ring I was interested in. I wanted a certain style in 18k gold. He said that was no problem. When the ring arrived however, it was 14k. No notice or mention of this by the salesman. No difference in price he charged than what he'd quoted for an 18k ring. First lie. But I'll get back to that.

Another issue: When I ordered the ring, I asked about having a hand inscription done. He said machine engraving was all that they could do. Ok, no problem. I asked if there was anyone else who did hand-engraving in the area. He said, no, you'd have to send it to New York to get it done and it cost an arm and a leg compared to machine engraving--there was NO ONE in Tennessee doing it anymore, he said. Well, after investigating further on my own (which simply entailed calling another jewelry store), I was referred to a hand engraver less than an hour's drive away from me. I took the original ring I'd purchased (14k, still unbeknownst to me) to this engraver, who did a beautiful job. When I told him Genesis Diamonds apparently didn't know of him, he looked very confused and said he'd recently been by there to speak with them and left them a business card!
Second lie by their salespeople.

So I had the ring engraved, then realized the store had ordered the WRONG SIZE. (Not my mistake, theirs). They reordered and reimbursed for the engraving. Wedding day is fast approaching. Get the new ring in. Drive back to engraver to get it re-engraved. THEN I notice it's 14k, not 18k!

At that point, it was too late to order another ring. They offered NO partial refund of any kind for lying about it being 18k, charging me for 18k, yet providing a 14k ring, even when I showed them proof that what they'd ordered didn't match what was received.

So bottom line, I would grind my eyes out with a spoon before ever purchasing jewelry there again.

DO NOT STEP FOOT IN GENESIS. My fiancé chose to buy my engagement ring from the Nashville location with the salesman Rick. After weeks of waiting for my ring to come in, they CRACKED my ring’s prong that holds the main diamond in place. By the way, this was the day before we left the country to Europe where he was planning on proposing. Genesis never called him to tell him this. Instead, they waited until he came in to pick it up and then told him they’d shipped it to California to be repaired. Fortunately my fiancé stood up to them because they had known ALL along the day we were leaving the country. He had purchased my ring way back in March and this was May that we were leaving with no ring. Rick grabbed it before the mail went out and had their jeweler do a makeshift ugly repair just so he could propose. Not only did he have to propose with a BROKEN RING, but somehow IT GETS EVEN WORSE. We came back to Nashville after our trip and were ready to get the ring properly repaired. Rick told us over and over that it would take a week for the repair. He’d expedite the shipping out to California and it’d be back in one week. Well shocker, that didn’t happen and once again there was NO COMMUNICATION. After waiting and waiting for a phone call, we called the jeweler out in California ourselves to find out where our ring was. They said it could be another MONTH before we got it back and that Genesis should never had quoted us a week because that was not true. So we had to cancel our engagement party, our engagement pictures, and put everything on hold for over a month. So much time passed, that we ended up having to move to Atlanta for jobs (with no ring and out of reach of Genesis). I just got my ring in the mail today and it won’t even fit over my knuckle!! I don’t even want to step foot in genesis again but they are saying that the warranty is voided if we have anyone else resize the ring...wonderful.
