Generation Tux was great to work with. I went in to get my Tux measurements, and the associates fitted me and put the measurements into their system. My tux came exactly two weeks before my wedding. The shirt was too tight around the neck, but they sent a replacement shirt within three days. Everything else about the tux was perfect! They provided shirt studs and cuff links, which looked great. Seeing some mixed reviews on here - all I can say is I personally had a great experience. My groomsmen live in four different states, so I was a fan of Generation Tux's business model. My tux fit me perfectly, and the majority of my six groomsmen had no issues. One groomsman had an issue with the torso and sleeves on his jacket being too long, but he contacted the company and they were able to send a great-fitting replacement in plenty of time for the wedding. The company highly recommends trying items on within 48 hours following delivery for exactly this purpose, and they held up their end of the deal. My wife and I were super happy with how everyone looked in their tux on our wedding day.Generation Tux's reply:

We rented out vest, shirts, and ties from Generation tux. The colors were spot on. The grooms vest and shirt were a little to small. I called and they shipped out the right size. We accidentally forgot to put the vest in the bag so we put it in my son's bag and emailed generation tucks and they worked with us on getting them back. Everything was perfect on our big day. I would recommend them to any one looking to rent a tux or suit. They were very easy to work with. If the need raises for another suit or tux we will be using them again. We gave the wrong size on one of out shirts, when I called customer service they were great and shipped another size out to Hawaii and still plenty of time for the big day! -

I was hesitant for a long time as to what we were going to do for Ryan’s tux for our wedding, but I am so glad we decided to go with Generation Tux! Everything came exactly as expected, sizing was perfect; timing was perfect! My father’s tux came in a little too snug and they got him the perfect fitting size super quick! They really made the entire process for our groomsmen, groom, and FOB soooo easy. All they had to do was put in their clothing sizing, address, pay, and then just show up dressed in their fit! We were also SUPER pleased with the return process. It was soooooo easy. Way easier than I expected. Weddings can be stressful and overwhelming with all the moving pieces, but we felt so blessed to have Generation Tux take all that stress off our shoulders when it came to our men’s attire. The online nature was something I found odd. Fortunately there is a showroom in Chicago that can take measurements. As the groom it all worked pretty well. It was a good experience. One groomsman had lots of issues with the fit of the shirt somehow, but that can happen with its sizing process. Having three days to drop off at UPS is also very easy.Generation Tux's reply:

I recently had the pleasure of using Generation Tux for my wedding, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience! The process from start to finish was seamless and stress-free! We were a little hesitant to be working with an online platform for fittings of a wedding suit, but the online algorithm and fitting process was incredibly user-friendly and extremely accurate in determining the correct sizes for a wide variety of body types. Additionally, the vast range of tuxedo/suit styles and customization options allowed us to find the perfect look for the occasion!
The quality of the tuxedos was exception, and they arrived on time, impeccably packaged, and ready to wear. The convenience of having everything delivered directly to my door and easy return process made the whole experience hassle free.
Generation Tux’s customer service team was also outstanding, providing prompt and helpful responses to our questions! We never had an issue being connected to a live agent which was a game changer when different questions came up. They were also very flexible with last minute additions and subtractions to our wedding party.
I highly recommend Generation Tux for anyone looking for a stylish, convenient, and top-notch tuxedo rental experience!

We were initially nervous about using an online company to rent our wedding suits, but ultimately had an amazing experience. The at-home try-on was great and their customer service was outstanding. I am so glad that they send the suits two weeks before the event, as we realized the shirts we ordered were not the ones we wanted for the look. We were able to call and have them change the shirts for our event and each of the groomsmen called and quickly received their replacement shirts. I heard about Generation Tux from a friend who was married and decided to use their services for my wedding this past January. Their try-on program was incredibly easy and any pieces that did not fit correctly for the bridal party they swapped out within days. Plus, if you have enough rentals, you can get a free rental or keep the suit (which my husband did). High quality materials that looked great on everyone. Generation tux was affordable but also an amazing choice. The flexibility to create the looks i wanted was perfect. I liked that they send free swatches to make sure I have the look I want. I like that they sent me the suit a couple months in advanced to make sure my suit fit well. They let me keep my suit for free because I had more than 7 people rent from them which was awesome. It was also very easy to track the progress for all 18 of the guys renting which helped big time. and it was very easy to mail back the suit.

We went with an online rental company due to having people in the wedding party from all over AND all of us traveling for an out of state wedding. LOVED our experience. I requested free swatches early on and we did the “Home-Try On” roughly 4-ish months before the wedding. We were pleased with the quality of the items for the cost and the process of receiving and returning the items. It was easy to create an event and ‘looks’ for specific people in the wedding. Our orders arrived 17 days before our wedding which is earlier than they tell you (huge pro for us!). I did use customer service quite a bit though as my FIL pieces didn’t work. We had to order a new dress shirt, vest, jacket, AND pants for him. But the customer service was great and prompt and we received the new pieces very quickly. BTW my husband got a free “rental” AND got to keep his suit jacket + pants because we had 7+ ordering members in our party. Unsure if this is always the case or the promotion when we ordered. It was a very nice perk! After the wedding, we designated 1 groomsman to collect everyone’s suits and bring them to UPS the next day for return so nobody got late fees. My husband rented his suit for our wedding from Generation Tux, and it was a great decision. We took advantage of the free swatch sample kit and the free home try-on, both of which helped us better understand the fit, comfort, and color scheme of the suit. The suit itself arrived with plenty of time before our wedding, and it came with all the accessories my husband needed (shoes, belt, cuff links, pocket square, etc.). Great customer service and great quality suits!!
Our bridal party was from all over so having the convenience of it getting delivered to your door 2 weeks before the wedding was great. Out of 7 groomsmen only 1 needed an exchange and the customer service was absolutely amazing at getting back in a timely matter and had the new tux set out within days! Highly recommend!
We had some hard to fit groomsmen but everyone's suit fit perfectly! One person ordered wrong size shoes but they quickly replaced even though it was his error. Couldn't have gone more smoothly. Overall I was impressed with the quality and service I received. I was worried that the quality would be poor and itchy but not at all the case. Don’t get me wrong, these aren’t silk suits but it was close to feeling like it. Service wise, I received my suit 8 days before the wedding. I was able to call into customer service and reorder, send back my white dress shirt that was a little big and I received my new one a day before the big day. Great experience. Easy to order. My husband loved wearing this tux on our wedding day! After they initially sent his original try-on, there were a few size concerns. We sent pictures into the company and they suggested what sizes he should get instead. We got it a week before the wedding so we had enough time to make sure everything was perfect and it was! We also had 3 days after the wedding to ship it back to them so we did not have to worry about taking it back to a store the next day! Generation Tux's customer support is amazing! I had to get a tux replacement and a couple days before my wedding it was supposed to arrive, but UPS delivered it to the wrong address. I called Gen Tux and they overnighted the tux and I got it the day before my wedding. The replacement tux was perfect! It wasn't Gen Tux's fault for not delivering it to the right address, but they definitely made up for it by shipping me a new one that fitted perfectly.Generation Tux's reply:

Our destination wedding was in Puerto Rico and we needed a rental company that sent the items 2 weeks in advance of the event. So Generation Tux was our only option. I was at peace knowing that my then fiancé was able to try on his suit and they responded promptly with their recommendations and even send out replacements overnight!! He is a heavyset guy and everything was on point and fit perfectly after customer service reviewed his try on comments and pictures. He was so comfortable, he didn’t even remove his jacket all night!! Thanks for helping him look so handsome!!Generation Tux's reply:

Expectations met.
I honestly didn’t expect such a great experience. All my groomsmen including myself was looking very handsome. I truly appreciate the time and help when gathering our sizes. A few of us had minor issues, but a simple call solved everything and in a matter of days a replacement was delivered. Definitely recommend for those looking to save money and time. My tux was free due to the amount of groomsmen selected. That was definitely a huge win on Generation Tux.Generation Tux's reply:

From online customization, to returning, the entire process, through Generation Tux, couldn't have been easier. They give you several options from which to choose, and once the suit arrives, you have a few days to return for last-minute alterations (which I did not need). And, when you're done, they provide a return shipping bag that you just have to drop off at a UPS store. Do yourself a favor and reduce your planning stress by using Generation Tux.Generation Tux's reply:

Had a great experience during my wedding with Generation Tux and would recommend them over *other companies* that you might think to go with first. I had an awful experience with the company that most people go with and decided to take a chance with GT.
We had a couple small sizing issues at first but the customer service was friendly, responsive, and got everyone perfect on the replacements that were needed. All garments arrived well ahead of the event so there was no rush on getting the replacements. Thank you!Generation Tux's reply:

Easy Process and Great Quality!
We used Generation Tux for the groom, 6 groomsmen, and the father of the groom. Everyone's suits fit great; my husband had to have a slimmer pair of pants sent out which shipped quickly and arrived at our house more than a week before the wedding. The entire process was incredibly easy! And my husband got his suit for FREE since he had >5 people rent through Generation Tux. Great company!Generation Tux's reply:

Me and the Groomsmen looked great!
Used Generation Tux for my groomsmen and I on my wedding day. I had groomsmen coming from all over the country, so it was great to be able to have the tuxes shipped out to everyone where they were. Most of my groomsmen and I did have to send in for changes, but the new pieces arrived in time and on the day of the wedding we all looked really suave! It made me happy to see all my friends looking so freaking handsome! -

I'm not going to lie, I was a little hesitant to use this site for my wedding, but the customer service and quality / fit of the suits was much better than I expected. I would definitely recommend to others who, like me, wanted a more affordable options and less hassle. They reimbursed all of my groomsmen in full for any alterations that needed to be made and sent new fits very quickly which arrived on time. -

The tuxes were great quality and our groomsmen received so many compliments. They fit a wide size range and the ordering process was straightforward (all done online and/or over-the-phone) without the trouble of having to step foot in a brick-and-mortar store. There was initial hesitancy to go this route because we weren’t sure if all orders would arrive accurately and on time, but Generation Tux made it easy for us to request alterations if needed, all within a reasonable time span. My groom and his groomsmen all used Generation Tux for their suits. This was the first time any of them had used it. First, we ordered swatches. Really glad we did that. Then we did a trial run of the suit a few months ahead of time and we were impressed with the quality and fit.
We had one groomsmen who is tall and lanky. He was surprised at how well his suit fit just from the online questionnaire. The questionnaire is very simple but effective. It doesn't require professional measurements either.
All the groomsmen preferred these suits over any other rentals used previously. It was also cheaper!
The timeliness is also spot-on. The suits all got delivered with plenty of time (like two weeks in advance) in case something was wrong (nothing was wrong for any of our guys) and you have plenty of time to get them returned. The return process is super simple, too.
Overall, we would really recommend using Generation Tux! -

Easy to Order, High Quality & helpful Customer Service!
My husband, his groomsmen, & our dads really loved working with Gen Tux. It’s online only so there’s not a local store to try-on in person. They send free color swatches AND do free home try-ons which was so helpful. All suits arrived at least 10 days in advance. They also send replacement items (no charge) if the fit isn’t quite right. Our planner at Flutter Social had a discount code for rentals too. Highly Recommend! -
