I cannot possibly recommend Gigi enough! She is absolutely incredible. She brought two additional stylists for hair and makeup and they were amazing too!
Gigi did my makeup for the rehearsal and wedding day and it was better than I could have ever imagined! She was so attentive to what I wanted, but I fully trusted her to work her magic and she did exactly that! I felt so beautiful and I got SO many compliments on my hair and makeup!
My mom and bridesmaids absolutely loved their hair and makeup, too. Everyone looked amazing!
Gigi was professional, but so fun and sweet! It was truly a joy to have her around on my wedding day! She was easy to talk to, showed up early, and kept everything running perfectly on time!
She even gave me an amazing touch up kit to keep which was the cherry on top!

Gigi and Vanessa were absolutely AMAZING for hair and makeup for my wedding! My whole wedding party and family looked so beautiful yet natural, everyone really truly loved their looks! And they were INCREDIBLE at my bridal hair and makeup. I showed them a photo of the style I liked and they exceeded my expectations. Like it looked even better than the first time, and I had no trial because it was a destination wedding!! I knew I made the right choice as soon as I got in contact with her on Instagram... Gigi is SO SWEET and her and Vanessa brought the best vibe to the house getting ready. We had so much fun with them. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone -- did I mention they travelled to Key Largo for me?!

If you’re reading this, you’re already headed in the right direction! One of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding was hiring Gigi for my hair and makeup. She made me feel absolutely radiant on my wedding day! I had a NYE wedding that ended at 5am, Gigi was done with my services by 4pm and no matter how much I sweat, my makeup never budged. She is a true artist and such a vibe! She has such a calm way about her, which is what every bride needs on her wedding day when there are so many other thoughts happening! So this review is effortless to write because Gizella is truly just that talented. I can't tell you how many HOURS I spent weeding through countless instagrams and websites trying to find the perfect makeup fit. I knew instantly when I found GEM Makeup Artistry this was gonna be the one. Flawless application bringing out the best parts of all her clients and brides. Her talent speaks for itself. One bride truly more beautiful than the next. She was one of the most responsive vendors I had- and if you have or are planning a wedding during a world pandemic I knowww you can appreciate this even more!!! I was SO LUCKY she was available. Honestly it felt like fate- I just about cried with happiness! So then you might ask yourself- wellll do I really need a trial? Nice and loud for my brides in the back.... YES. YES. YES, you do. That was me. I was one of those brides trying to cut things I didn't think I "needed". Do not waste one second even questioning. Gizella was SO accommodating, and was able to squeeze me in so I could use my trial for my bridal shower. Amazing! I received so many comments on how beautiful my makeup was. Then came the day of my wedding... When I tell you my pictures are STUNNING, believe me b/c that is the recurring comment I received from every single guest. It was the most beautiful I ever looked or felt! And have no fear, the airbrush makeup lasted the entire night- I did not have to touch up anything even through my happy tears! I really could go on, but if I can say anything else it would be to not cut corners or skimp on your MUA. I can confidently say Gizella is whole heartedly worth it, hands down, without a doubt!

Gizelle was part of a team doing mine and my bridesmaids makeup for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding day. Every single one of my bridesmaids loved her so much, that they all requested to have her do their makeup the next day for the wedding. She is professional and SO SWEET. So talented and really listens to what you are looking for. She is patient and truly wants you to feel beautiful - she reassures you that she is capable of achieving the look you want. In fact, most of my bridesmaids didn't have to give her much guidance - she just knew what to do!! She is amazing. Hire her because you will be so happy you did!!!

Yaneth and her assistant were great to work with, very fast, professional, and receptive to changes and special requests. Plans changed due to the pandemic and they were flexible and available. They were great with my maid of honor and mom. I really enjoyed working with them.

GEM Makeup Artistry & Hair did a great job for my wedding. She was very easy to work with, and helped me out when my hair stylist canceled two months before the wedding after 2 years of planning! I had two makeup artists either do a horrible job or cancel on me, and then I found GEM! So lucky she was free for my wedding. Loved the makeup on the trial, and loved my wedding day makeup!

From the beginning, Gizella was INCREDIBLE to work with! She responded quickly from the beginning and was always available via text when I needed her. The trial was super smooth and after having a previous horrible experience with a different company, the trial was something I was super nervous about. She helped me obtain the exact look that I had in mind. Gizella was easy to work with, fun to have conversation with, and punctual in everything we had planned.
For my hair trial, Paige showed up to my house and asked what I wanted to do with my hair. I had a few pictures I was looking at but really just said create something pretty and we can go with that. Well let me tell
you, this hair goddess blew it out of the park with her ideas. She was punctual, easy to have a conversation with, and made the whole process very stress free.
Fast forward to the day of the wedding -honestly it was the easiest, best experience EVER. The day was so smooth and the girls were so fast and efficient to make sure that we were all ready on time. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup. My hair and makeup came out absolutely AMAZING in all of my photos and lasted the whole night without ever needed anything to be touched up or fixed.
If you are looking for professional, punctual, creative, and affordable artists to do your hair and makeup... I would 200% recommend GEM :)

Gizella did an outstanding job for the makeup looks at my wedding. She listened to what look I wanted and created one that was even better than I thought was possible. I continue to receive compliments whenever I show my wedding pictures! Her makeup skills are superb and I recommend her without any hesitation. My makeup look just as perfect at the end of the night as it did in the beginning and that was through all the kisses and happy tears!! She even gives you a full size touch up kit for the bride but her makeup is so good that I didn’t even need to use it. If you want yourself and your entire bridal to look breathtaking and gorgeous then she is your perfect makeup artist.

Truly an expert in the natural look
I was so concerned about my makeup, I originally wasn't going to get it done. I hate looking like I'm wearing too much, but my MOH convinced me to do it. I chose to do a trial with GEM because she highlighted how she loves the natural look. Then, I was totally sold after the trial. Gigi has SUCH a calming presence and is so knowledgable about everything makeup. I did airbrush, and she explained everything to me during the trial so I felt totally comfortable. We made some tweaks to my eyeliner and lip color and she remembered everything.
Day of, she arrived early and set up quickly. She was ready before we were which was so calming! Gigi did my makeup, two mothers, and 2 bridesmaids. She also threw lashes on some of my other bridesmaids for no charge, and she gave me a touch up kit (see the photo of my little cousin touching up my lip color - so cute!). She also accepted venmo and chase quickpay which made things so easy!
I would highly recommend GEM to anyone in the South Florida area. I have never felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day! Thank you!

Gizella and her team glammed me up for my wedding day on December 22, 2018. She was so great to work with and understood exactly the look I wanted for my special day. Prior to the big day, we did a trial and she was so nice and helpful. She listens and will help you get to the dream look you want. She always answered all of my questions leading up to the big day in a timely and professional matter by phone and email. On the wedding day, she made me feel and look beautiful as well as my bride squad. Her airbrush is amazing as well as traditional. The eyelashes she used felt super natural as well. I was emotional throughout the entire day and my makeup still looked amazing when I got home. I would highly recommend Gizella and her team for makeup ❤️

Where do I begin. I am always afraid of people touching my face or using products that may brake me out into hives. Gizella is such an amazing artist not only does she cater to your needs she’s extremely knowledgeable on what reacts to each certain type of skin and gives you recommendations!!! I felt so beautiful on my wedding and bachelorette I could not have asked for a better make artist. You can literally show her a picture of what you want does exactly what you like and is honest! I love trust an honesty of something doesn’t look good on my face particularly she will always show you different options where you don’t look crazy lol but still get what you want!! I had the best experience using Gizella with GEM Makeup Artistry. I had a booked a different make up artist many months prior to my wedding, only for her (I will leave the name unspoken for karma reasons) to cancel on me 2 months before my wedding. Honestly, I was not an over-the -top bride; however, if its one thing I cared about, it was my make up. Needless to say, I was completely frazzled and upset wondering how I would find someone to book for the day since the day was so closely approaching. A friend had referred Gizella to me and boy! was I lucky. She was professional, flexible, VERY skilled in the art of make up and pleasant natured. I was very nervous before we did the trial knowing that if she was to not work out I would basically be screwed and back to the drawing board. She came to my house on time and not only delivered professionalism, but I absolutely LOVED my make up. I had been extremely stressed for many reasons and I actually cried once she left my house. The day of my wedding Gizella was awesome. I had a small bridal party and of course my mom and mother-in-law to get their make up done and everyone looked amazing. She was quick, calm and very efficient. She meshed well with everyone around her which I think is so important on such a stressful day. Gizella did such an amazing job with make up for myself and the whole bridal party. She tailored everyone's look to what they wanted and looked best for them. I was very worried about my make up staying on all night since I am a big time crier but it never came off!! I couldn't have been happier with the service provided!

From the moment I started corresponding with Gizella, she was prompt, professional and detailed with her responses and follow-ups. On the day of the trial, she arrived as scheduled and completed a beautiful, natural look for my bridal shower. It was my first time trying airbrush and I loved it! On the wedding day, she got through 10 ladies within our schedule and they all looked flawless through the end of the night. My makeup felt light, looked perfect and I received so many compliments. Her prices are very reasonable and her recommendation for a hairstylist was also on-point. Gizella was so sweet and laid-back which helped put me at ease at any stressful moments. I had a true dream team for my wedding and would recommend her in the blink of an eye!

Gigi is the absolute best! She has done my makeup for numerous occasions but most recently for my baby shower and maternity photos and I have to say I love the way she made me look! Gizella did my wedding make up in May of 2016 and she did such an awesome job! I just showed her what kind of look I was going for and she was able to meet my needs.
She was very timely, as she came to my home to do my makeup...very respectful and attentive e.g. asked me how bold of eyebrows I preferred, what level of coverage I want, how I liked my foundation to match my skin or whether I preferred a lighter shade..and adjusting the look to my needs was not a problem at all for her. Then she used her knowledge and skill to make the overall look beautiful and polished. I def. recommend her

Gizella is a talented, professional, and tranquil make up artist. Prior to our wedding, she gave birth and the whole time was reassuring me that she would be at my wedding. I initially hired Gizella for my best friend's bridal shower. She did such an amazing job, I hired her to do my entire bridal party for my wedding. She was on time and super sweet. Gizella is an incredibly talented make up artist! I traveled from out of State for my wedding which was located in Palm Beach. I tried several make up artists for bridal trials beforehand and as I'm picky and used to work in the entertainment industry I wanted someone who was professional and able to achieve the look I envisioned. I was delighted when I found Gizella! Our trial went well as she listened to what I wanted, viewed photos, made suggestions and was fast. On our wedding day, she arrived exactly on time, was wonderfully pleasant and my family and friends loved her and what she did for their make up (all varying in age, ethnicity, desire, etc.) I felt gorgeous and received many compliments; who wouldn't want that on their wedding day?! I highly recommend Gizella and as I'll now be residing in S. FL, I'll definitely be using her again.

Our makeup held up so well even after having a very rainy wedding day (it's good luck right?!) and taking pictures while being rained on! Since our make up trial I knew Gizelle was the one who would be doing my makeup for my special day. makeup was the only thing I didn't have to worry about during the rest of my wedding planning. Gizella did my makeup for my wedding in April, as well as for the rest of my bridal party. She was very professional and reasonably priced. Her skills are excellent and she is very good at listening to your requests and overall vision and turning it into reality. We all looked so great for the special day and the makeup lasted all night long, despite the Florida humidity! Also, she offered to schedule my trial session on the day of my engagement shoot so that I could look fabulous for the photos...and I did!
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience working with her. I would definitely use her services again in the future.

When a few friends saw the bridesmaids makeup before the wedding they asked if they could get it done and GiGi's team stayed a few hours after to fit them in. Girlfriends from the wedding who got married after my wedding have used GiGi and her team because of how good all of the bridesmaids looked. I was a little worried about sweating (Florida summers) and/or happy tears ruining my makeup, but Gizella quickly calmed those fears with her professionalism and artistry. She was very knowledgeable about what kind of makeup would look best and last longest for my special day. She arrived promptly at my house in the morning and remained positive and cordial throughout the crazy dress up stage of the day. She was flexible with the varying style needs and wishes for all the women in my family ranging from my grandmother to myself. Always nice, easy to talk to and most importantly, professional!! Everything ran smoothly and I felt comfortable with her makeup all night, no oiliness, caking or flaking - just perfect! I had a soft gold and pink look that lasted all night and looked great in photos without being too made up in person. It was a great balance and I'm happy I could rely on Gizella that day. I used Gizelle to do my makeup for my wedding. She arrived on time and completed me 7 bridesmaids, my mother and my aunt all in a timely fashion and was finished when she was suppose to. She made me feel as beautiful as can be on my special day. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get their makeup done. She now does my makeup for small events I wouldn't trade her for anyone. Her prices are very reasonable. She even recommended someone that could handle hair and she worked out well. My advice is definitely go with someone reliable and not the cheapest person around bc for the most part you get what you pay for. and I knew I could count on her to actually show up and be on time.

I was shocked she had my bridesmaids, mothers, grandmother, and I all done in the time she stated. Each girl took 30 minutes and she made each girl look gorgeous. Gigi and I did a trial run and she was understanding to the look I was looking for. She made me gorgeous but still look myself. I really enjoyed having Gigi come to the hotel and do our makeup. I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding and hired Gizella to do my make-up and hair. I was so happy with the results! She listened to what I wanted in terms of color with my makeup and style with my hair! I told her I wanted my make-up to be pretty natural with a little pop of color in my eyes and she did exactly that! She also did an amazing job with my hair! It lasted the whole night! Also, my make-up looked the same by the end of the night as it did at the beginning! I was very pleased with her work and her professionalism! Needless to say, I will be hiring here for future events !!

I contacted GEMakeup to get my makeup done for my baby shower and also maternity pictures. Just when I felt not myself from the extra weight and being uncomfortable, Gizella made me feel beautiful again. She brought back that pregnancy glow everyone talks about that I never got to see until she came to my rescue. My pictures came out beautifully and I felt amazing at the baby shower. I would definitely use her for my next big event!!

I was referred to GEMakeup by a friend. She had nothing but great things to say about her experience and neither do I! I showed pictures of what I wanted my makeup to look like for my families wedding and Gizella was dead on. My expectations were more than met! She was very friendly and professional she made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend her over and over!

Gizella is awesome! I planned my wedding from across the country, she was able to meet with me without too much advance notice months before for a trial and the day of the wedding took on all my seven bridesmaids, my moms and last minute additions for make up! Also when the nerves and stress of the day got to me she was quick to calm me down! I appreciated all her hard work and encouraging words! It goes without saying that my make up was perfect! She also sent me off with a little gift bag for touch ups during the night. I would definitely recommend her for any bride and I will definitely be reaching out to her in the future for any make up session I need in South Florida.

I used Gizella for my engagement photos and my wedding. She did an amazing job. Both occasions she made me look exactly as I asked. The makeup looks natural yet luxurious. For my engagement photo shoot I ended up fully submerged and the makeup was perfect, lashes and all. For the wedding I wanted a more dramatic look. She delivers every time. Thank you once again for making me look amazing.
