GCStar’s German Cabello not only served as our wedding DJ but also masterfully guided the evening as our Master of Ceremony. He also translated from English into Spanish and vice-versa. His level of professionalism and expertise truly shone throughout the entire event. The sound system they provided was top-notch, delivering crystal-clear music that set the perfect atmosphere during our wedding dinner and the lively celebration afterward.
What truly stood out was the extensive playlist they offered. Prior to the wedding, my wife and I also worked a lot with Veronica, and she took the time to understand our musical preferences. As a result, the music played was a perfect reflection of our tastes and kept the energy high throughout the night. Our guests were on their feet, dancing the night away.
The coordination with GCStar leading up to the wedding was seamless. They were responsive, organized, and took great care to ensure every detail was just right. This level of dedication and commitment is something we greatly appreciated and contributed to our stress-free wedding experience.

We are SO happy we chose GCStar Punta Cana to DJ our wedding on May 1, 2026 at Secrets Playa Esmeralda!
We decided to take a chance on hiring an outside vendor instead of using the resort’s preferred DJ, since the pricing through the resort felt a bit steep — and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made.
From the very beginning, GCStar Punta Cana stood out. Before even providing a quote, they requested a video consultation. At first, I was unsure because no other company required that, but after the call, I completely understood why. German instantly made us feel comfortable, excited, and confident in our choice. His energy is contagious, and after seeing clips of his work online, I already had a feeling he knew how to create an unforgettable atmosphere.
The entire process was seamless from start to finish. Communication was prompt, the contract was straightforward and easy to understand, and I appreciated having a detailed form to organize all of our music selections and preferences.
On the wedding day, they absolutely delivered. The DJ also served as our MC and kept the celebration flowing effortlessly all night long. Our guests are STILL talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor!

We truly cannot put into words how incredible GC Star was for our wedding. From start to finish, the DJ, MC, and violinist were nothing short of AMAZING.
The DJ kept the dance floor full all night with perfect transitions, incredible energy, and music that matched every moment flawlessly. The MC was charismatic, professional, and knew exactly how to hype up the crowd while keeping the night flowing smoothly and on schedule. And the violinist… absolutely breathtaking. The live violin added such an elegant, emotional, and unforgettable touch to our ceremony and reception—our guests are still talking about it!

WOW! We were so thankful to have GC Star be the DJ & MC at our wedding at Casa de Campo! Not only did Germán follow our playlist, but he went off our guests energy and kept us on the dance floor all night long (we have not danced or sang that much in a LONG time) and our guests are still raving how much fun they had at our wedding! DJ GCStar was amazing!
Germán did a wonderful job as a DJ for our wedding in La Romana! He video chatted us a couple times before the big day and made us feel comfortable using his services- and he did not disappoint! He listened to our wishes but used his expertise to liven up the dance floor. He also did a great job as MC and paid attention to the wedding to have great timing. The whole GCStar team is great and Veronica had great communication and was great help as well! 10/10 recommend using their services!!

I just had my wedding at Secrets Cap Cana. I
am African and had a blended wedding guest count and wanted to ensure the music was perfect for the big day. GCSTAR was the best way I could’ve gone. The team ensured we got the best dance floor, had calls to go over music and what vibe I wanted to create. I didn’t want anyone to want to leave the dance floor and on my wedding day no one did. I received so many compliments that the music had the perfect blend and kept everyone going. Verónica ensured everything was perfect with communication and German kept the party going. Part of the package, we added sparklers and it got everyone up from their seats for our first dance. If you are having a wedding in DR, 100% book GCSTAR!!!!!! 10/10

GCStar and Team were exceptional! They were very responsive, helpful and easy to work with during the wedding planning stages.
Herman was our DJ during the wedding and absolutely brought the heat, and had the dance floor going crazy the entire night. He did a terrific job during the wedding introductions and speeches. I gave Herman a short playlist and I trusted him to do his thing, and he over delivered!

From the start, after submitting my inquiry, Veronica was so quick to communicate with me and consult about GCStars packages. She was very responsive at all times over the course of a year of planning with her and we just appreciated that so much. We requested to have German as our DJ and I cant even begin to express how happy we were with our decision. They provided our ceremony sound, cocktail hour, 4 hour reception, MC, the starlit dancefloor, and cold fireworks. They had us fill out a questionnaire a few week prior with all of our playlists for each part of the wedding day, specific songs for specific moments, and he executed everything perfectly. Outside of ourselves, our guests raved about how amazing the DJ was all night! We used GCStar and our DJ was Gilberto, who more than exceeded our expectations. He read the crowd very well and ensured everyone was having a great time. Transitions were perfect! 10/10. Perfect night!!!
We had the most amazing experience using GCStar Punta Cana for our wedding reception at Hilton La Romana in the Dominican Republic. Due to unforeseen circumstances, myself (the bride) and groom did not make it to the reception on time and German kept the party going and everyone had a blast! Many of our guests told us it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding reception and we owe all of that to German. It was a night we will never forget! Veronica and German were quick to respond to any communications and we had multiple meetings via Zoom prior to the big day to go over details and what we envisioned for the night. German at Casa de Campo
We couldn't have asked for a better experience with German. The DJ plays such an important role in your wedding, and we couldn't have been happier. Here are some specifics that went especially well:
1) German met with us as many times as we needed to prepare for the big day. He didn't make it seem like he was too busy or just another one of his clients. He made us feel confident in his abilities and removed stress leading up to the wedding.
2) We had a number of unique requests like a special introduction, a 'decades hour' and other things that required a lot of preparation. He took the time to make any and all of our requests happen.
3) He had such a good feel for the vibe of the party. I gave him a list of my 'must have songs' and 'nice to have songs'. He took this and then used his own judgment based on what the audience was feeling and was incredible. I had many guests say that they did not leave the dance floor the entire night.
Overall, the experience made for the most fun wedding reception I could have asked for, he made us feel level and confident things would go well, and he was prepared and responsive throughout the process.

10/10 recommend! Not enough words to describe my gratitude for DJ GC Star and his team. We elected the Ultimate Package #2. German, Veronica and my husband and I all met 2 weeks before the wedding and we discussed my reception timeline and all the special requests that we wanted. We provided him with a mix for our first dance that was important to us and he was able to play it and coordinated the cold fires to go off exactly when we discussed. We did a birthday shoutout with a special song, we did our own Hora Loca (glow sticks, LED glasses and flags) where we also provided a special song list. This ran so smoothly, and he previously ensured that it would! DJ GC Star was super accommodating and allowed all my requests to flow beautifully! We provided a HUGE playlist which I knew was going to be overwhelming, but DJ GC Star read the crowd and knew exactly what to play and how to get the people going! EVERYTHING. WAS. PERFECT!!!

Everything from beginning to end was a breeze. Insanely talented DJ!
We hired German and his team for DJ services for our Wedding reception in Punta Cana in October 2023. The week prior to our wedding, we hopped on a zoom call with him for approximately 15 minutes to discuss the vibe we wanted to have at the reception. German absolutely crushed it. My now wife and I were very impressed with German's professionalism, timeliness, and talent as a DJ. He far exceeded our expectations and our guests were on the dance floor all night due to his awesome & timeliness song selections. We created a list of songs that we thought would give German a better understanding as to what we were about and going for and then he took care of the rest. I would give him 100 stars if I could. Do not think twice about booking his services. Aside from his incredible talent as a DJ, he is an even better person and is an absolute pleasure to work with. Amazing DJ
GCStar Punta Cana was the DJ service we hired for our destination wedding! The packages they offer were reasonable compared to what the resort we were using provided us with. We used them for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Working with them was really easy. They were really prompt with answering any questions we had leading up to our wedding and the form they have you fill out was simple. The day of our wedding, the DJ and crew had issues with the resort letting them on the property. Even with these issues, they were still able to get set up on time. The DJ took requests from us and our guests on the spot and was easy to work with. Guests are still complimenting how much they liked the DJ and the music he played.

Communication was great leading up to the wedding, I had a few calls with Veronica who answered all my questions. I also requested a call with German (the DJ) so I could tell him exactly what I wanted, he assured me all my concerns would go smoothly on the day of the wedding and they did! German was absolutely fantastic! He read the room perfectly and everyone was dancing the entire night! Through GCStar we also hired a sax guy for cocktail hour and an hora loca for the reception, both were magnificent! We got so many compliments on all, we couldn't be happier. I would absolutely hire them again! 10/10 recommend. Thanks GCStar!

Many of our guests said he was the best DJ they’ve heard
Huge fans!! Everyone loved the DJ at our wedding. We had Germán from GCStar as our DJ for our wedding at Sanctuary Cap Cana. We communicated in advance to outline the type of music we wanted at the reception. He did a great job using our sample playlist to shape the set of music for the night. The dance floor was full all night. German made a couple quit shifts if it appeared one song wasn’t keeping energy up. He read the room perfectly.

Amazing 10/10 DJ for Destination Wedding
We got married at Casa de Campo and GCStar was included in our wedding package. Me and my now husband are big into music and DJ mash up sets. We were very particular about what music we wanted played at our reception. German and his team were super accommodating and joined the creative process with us in creating the best playlist for our special day. Our guests were on the dancefloor the entire night and we couldn't be more thankful to German and his team! Thank you for your talents and efforts! We highly recommend him.

Best DJ Ever!
DJ GC Star was everything I could have wanted in a wedding DJ and more! He was a great MC. He was prepared with a lot of songs from the genres of music that we wanted to hear. He saved my reception when the power went out for ten minutes and found a new power source! He kept the dance floor packed all night long and transitioned between songs seamlessly. He played the good requests from my guests without any issue! My standards for DJs are pretty high and he met them! Worth every penny

Love the sparkly dance floor and great communication!
Such a great time! Communication was great and we spoke right before the reception began to talk about how it would go. Probably should’ve done a timeline with names of speakers beforehand but it still went very well! Totally recommend the sparkly dance floor and the guests loved being able to give song suggestions. Would recommend to anyone.

German was AWESOME! I love music/dancing and so does the rest of our families/friends. I curated a playlist and he stuck exactly to it and then threw in other songs that mixed well with whatever I had selected. I had hip hop/some spanish/ indian/ a little pop and he segued and transitioned everything effortlessly and had the exact energy we wanted for an emcee. Literally ended up extending our reception by 2 hours because that's how much we didn't want our night to end. Would 100% recommend!

10 out of 10! I had my wedding @ Sanctuary Cap Cana, and music was our TOP priority in planning and ensuring that we had the best night ever. I am SO thankful for the amazing services of GC Star. Our guest danced the entire night and are STLL raving about the music and how much fun they had. We sent German several playlist while planning and we were very specific in wanting a mix of Spanish and English music and they delivered flawlessly! One very special note I want to share is that me and my husband planned to do a surprise salsa routine at the end of our first dance and we needed the song mixed so that it could flow from a slow dance to a salsa song…they executed perfected with plenty of time to practice before our big day. They listened to all of our request and made sure to play all our must have songs and different genres for different times of the night. We honestly can’t say enough great things about this company, Germàn, and our amazing MC. Highly recommend for the best most memorable day of your life:)

Outstanding service from start to finish
GC Star Punta Cana was amazing! First off, they commuted all the way from Punta Cana to our wedding in Las Terrenas (multi-hour drive). Then they were really flexible when security wouldn't let them into the villa right away, plus we had to change plans due to rain, which they accommodated flawlessly. Finally, the ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. All of the songs and transitions were right on cue - highly recommend!!!

GCStar had the party rocking!
When booking a DJ for our wedding, we were a bit concerned seeing there was so many cultures of music we needed played (Bachata, Merengue, Afro Beats, Hip Hop, Cape Verdean music). We worked with GC Star and provided a playlist to get an idea of what it is we were looking for and he nailed it! The party was so fun, everyone was sweating and dancing the whole night. It was so good that we didn't want to stop the party to cut the cake, so my wife and I cut the cake, took a couple pictures and hit the dance floor again. Awesome Wedding DJ!
German and his team at GCStar recently provided the entertainment/music for my wedding reception at Casa de Campo. They were so easy to work with and remembered all the details we spoke about in our pre planning sessions. It can be nerve wracking planning a destination wedding in a foreign country and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was a great experience. The setup was totally professional and everything turned out exactly the way I hoped it would be. Our wedding was a blast and people were packed on the dance floor the entire night. The best party of my life!
Don't doubt to book this service! From the ceremony music, to our first dance, everything was flawless and perfect. But when the party time came, it was more than amazing! Germán absolutely delivered!! He went above and beyond, I don't know what we would have done without him. Our coordinator went missing in the beginning and he was truly amazing in keeping us calm and helped coordinate the next event. He kept the party going the whole time with good music and he knew our styles. He was very energetic and MC'd like a boss. We were dancing the whole night! As far as pricing goes, we saved so much going with him as an outside vendor rather than going through the resort DJ. He kept it professional throughout and he communicates very well. Destination wedding reception
We had GCStar Punta Cana entertain our guests at my destination wedding last weekend (3/23/19) and they were GREAT! The Starlight dance floor was bigger and better than what the resort offered, and the LOVE sign and the sparklers were the perfect touch! Jose the MC was easy to work with, fun, and kept the crowd going all night. Germán the owner was very accommodating and patient with me when my fiancé was procrastinating to help me decide the songs they needed. I gave them the genres of music we wanted played and they hit them all making sure the entire crowd had a great time. Coming from outside NYC we were very skeptical about using a local vendor and even considered bringing a DJ with us which would have cost us a small fortune. We were afraid they wouldn’t meet the standard we have become accustomed to in NYC nightlife, but they played all the top hip hop hits, Salsa, and some 90’s throwbacks that hit our generation on the money! Music makes the party and ours was one that will go down in history! Thank you GCStar Punta Cana! You made my wedding reception great!

DJ kept the whole crowd energized and dancing
The DJ was fantastic. He acted as our MC for the reception. He played a nicr variety of music during dinner and a great mix of songs we had given him as well as a bunch of his own. He was very flexible and stayed an extra half hour to keep playing at the end of the night with little notice. He made the whole night lots of fun including the bouquet and garter toss. I would highly recommend our DJ!

The wedding of our dreams
My husband is a NYC DJ and having him choose entertainment for our destination wedding was the hardest and longest choice we had to make. But when our planner suggested working with German, we were thrilled. Finally someone that responded on time! We sent him our playlist and he sent over his recent mixes and it was that easy. Done deal!
Fast forward to our wedding day. I wish I could share videos on here. EVERYONE was singing and dancing and sweating and it was just amazing. We couldn't get off the dance floor! Everyone could not stop commenting on how fun of a party we had an just how impressed they were we were able to blend our two families together on the dance floor. it was unbelievable. And we owe it all to German! Honestly working within was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. And as very picky New Yorkers I will say, we were beyond impressed with his professionalism and his talent. Please, PLEASE work with German if you want to have the wedding of your dreams!

Even when half of our wedding party was missing, he made everything run smoothly and had incredible communication throughout the process. The music was exactly what we asked for, the set up was perfect, and the value was better than anyone else. Highly recommended!

We hired GC Star for our destination wedding and could not have made a better choice! German was very responsive and accommodating to our requests for our reception. He even took the time to meet with my husband and I a couple of days before the wedding day to ensure we were comfortable with how the reception would flow. He is very professional, flexible and fun! All our guests had a blast and kept saying how good the music was. Highly recommended!

Do not think twice about booking this vendor! He was perfect! Responsive: replies within minutes. Value- such a great price and provides soooooo many things in the C package! Plays all your music and made us feel so comfortable! So many compliments on our DJ! They can make or break the night! He made it! The timing and all of our music (even very specific hard to find songs) perfectly played and even played at the chorus if needed. The cold fireworks, light up dance floor, and I do sign we’re out of control amazing in pictures. Seriously, do not look anywhere else. Book him Now so you can reserve your date. Thanks to German we had the most perfect wedding. He already organized the Music for our ceremony and gave us great recommendations. He did a great Job animating our guests and everybody had a great time. We had a Special wish for our first Dance and he impleted it just perfectly. We had a very international Party (Dominican, german, Belgian, haitian, venezuelan, turkish, serbian, russian, ukraine, mexican, english and dutch) and everybody was enjoying to the fullest. I highly recommend him and if I had to get married again I would choose him as a DJ again.

Working with German and his team was simply amazing. From the initial emails, he was very easy and responsive with his communications and made great music recommendations for our events. The music that he played was perfect - everyone was having a great time on the dance floor. German was even able to incorporate some last minute songs from us into the playlists seamlessly. We looked into GC Star for our wedding as the DJ through the resort was ridiculously over priced and he came recommended by our photographer. German was really fast at replying to emails, even accommodating last minute requests 2 days before the wedding no problem! The day of, German went through a few things with us and it all ran smoothly, the packages all include MC services too which was awesome. The music was amazing, everyone had a blast and I would highly recommend using GC Star for your wedding down in Punta Cana!

German was AWESOME! Our original DJ cancelled on us so we were left to search for a local DJ in Punta Cana with very short notice. I found GCStar by reading the rave reviews online and emailed them immediately. German's response time was super fast and after speaking to him over the phone I felt very relieved to have found him. He assured me that he would make our wedding reception the party that we were wishing for. We had over 90 guests who traveled with us to celebrate our wedding and German did not disappoint! He kept the party going and our guests are still talking about our reception and how much fun they had. I also brought along some Polish music which German successfully added into the playlist and my Polish family members (and I) were overjoyed! He even met with my fiance and I and our wedding coordinators before the wedding day to go over all of our details. At the end of our reception, our guests did not want to leave and German was the reason for that. I DEFINITELY recommend GCStar Punta Cana!!!

Oh My Goodness, German with GC Star Punta Cana was nothing short of AMAZING! My fiancé and I were a little nervous being in a different country because we didn't know if anyone would understand how to keep our party going (we enjoy hop hop/ R&B ,etc.) But let me tell you, German did GREAT! He kept the crowd pumped and going and ON THE DANCE FLOOR! The end of our Wedding Reception came so quick because we were all having a great time!! He did great acting as the MC, his announcements were right on time and kept the reception flowing. Also, our first dance has been deemed the BEST first Dance ever by all of our guests thanks to German and the cold fireworks he set-up for us...just amazing!!! Please book him, you will not be disappointed!

I was Married on April 28,2017 and GCSTAR was amazing, He worked with me until the day of the wedding. I needed for a video to show in the background of my sweet sixteen of me dancing with my father while dancing with my mother. It was a big hit and he did an excellent job. He was not only our DJ but also our MC. He kept everyone dancing the hole night. We did not sit down unless it was speech time, to eat, or cut the cake. You can see photos at Dreams Punta Cana Brides in the Album Section. I will recommend this DJ to everyone. We had a great night. I did use the full package that was $800 and he did everything. Even the sparklers for the first dance was amazing and everyone loved it.

He was always responding to our emails quickly and was very fair with pricing. He provided an excellent DJ service and a real cool LED flooring. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone, I knew he was very professional but his work during my wedding just blew me away. He helped me with the timing of everything at my reception and he checked on me to make sure everything was going well during the night. The only thing I did all night was to have fun because I didn’t have to worry about a thing.. The wedding exceeded all my expectations and my guests were so impressed with the DJ's work. German was very professional and I highly recommend his services, Best DJ ever :)

GCStar Punta Cana was great right from the start! They were very quick to respond and made sure that we had exactly what we wanted. Aside from a couple of specific songs, we didn't give them a whole lot of direction but they did an amazing job. Our dance floor was full all night and actually got people that were watching from a distance up and dancing.
Do not hesitate to choose them as your DJ service! They were excellent from start to finish!

We hired German to DJ our wedding at Dreams Punta Cana on 09-22-16. He exceeded our expectations and we are so glad we decided to hire an outside vendor instead of booking through the resort! We had a tough crowd due to the 29 to 65 year age range. He did such a great job at getting everyone hyped up and dancing! We were most impressed at how he coordinated with the photographer we hired to make sure all the important moments took place before the photographer left for the evening. We ended up getting all the important dances, cake cutting, speeches, etc caught on film! With as stressful and overwhelming as you are on your wedding day, this was a HUGE weight off our shoulders! The fireworks during our first dance was epic and made for some really incredible photos. Hire him, you won't be disappointed!

We found German and his team via a brides group for the Majestic earlier this year and every bride that used him praised him. And they had good reason too!! He is awesome! If you are having a destination wedding in the Punta Cana area I recommend him. NO I URGE YOU BOOK HIM!! He is super responsive to any and all questions you have for him via email, chat and or facebook manager and he is a true professional when you meet him in person. I am so glad we went with him. Truly and honestly I do not regret working with him at all! I wish I could bring him up to NJ so he can do any and all events we have in the future!!! German is one of a kind!!
