Terrific experience!

My husband and I hired the Gawnes for our wedding, and they were a terrific choice on every level. They were reasonably priced, flexible, and delivered truly incredible photos. (They are also lovely, kind people whom we were lucky to share our special day with!) Maria captured the best moments of the evening, even the little ones that we didn't even notice. She had a great eye and memorialized our wedding better than we could have imagined. They are worth every penny and then some. Highly recommended.

Amazing photographers & people

The Gawnes are amazing people and photographers. Our photos are beautiful and captured our day perfectly. We have received so many compliments and I cannot wait to hang them in our home. They went above and beyond and took pictures/video of my grandma and I the weekend before my wedding because she was not comfortable attending due to covid. They also helped me design a Christmas card to send out after the wedding. You will not regret choosing them as your photographers!

The Dynamic Duo!

Brian and Maria are hands down not only the best photographers, but one of the best people my husband and I have ever had the pleasure to meet and work with. They are an absolute dream team together. You will be spending a great amount of time with your photographers on your wedding day. So to have people who are not only phenomenally wonderful at what they do, but also incredibly fun, positive and excited, hilarious, at what they do is just as important. I can easily say that Brian and Maria were a big part as to why my husband and I, family, and guests had such a wonderful wedding day. We’ve already seen a few teaser photos before we see the final photos, and we are ABSOLUTELY IN LOVE. I almost cried. They just perfectly captured our feelings and emotions perfectly with their photography. They made getting our big family photos very organized. They have fool proof beautiful poses that they asked us to do, mixed with some hilarious and very heartwarming candid photos. What drew us initially to them was the breathtaking sunset photos from their portfolio, and while we have yet to see them, we are SO excited to see them. If you have any reservations at all, don’t. Like AT ALL. We want Brian and Maria to do our maternity photos and family photos in the future. That’s how wonderful they are. We love you guys!!!

Top Notch Photography Team that gives all the LOVE

The Gawnes went the extra mile for our wedding and we couldnt ask for any better photos of us on our wedding day. They caught those beautiful raw emotions that sometimes you forget after being married for a while. They are professional and help you stay on schedule. We have continued to work with the gawnes after our wedding :)

Absolute best photographers

We heard of the Gawnes through the Z Mansion, where we originally planned on getting married. Once we saw their pictures and talked to Brian at the fair they do on Wednesdays at Z Mansion, we know there was no one else we'd rather work with. I told Brian we wanted to face the fountain at Z instead of the gazebo, he said with our date and when the sun would set, the gazebo would be better for lighting. When I told Brian I didn't want to do first look, he said doing first look helps get rid of some of the pre-ceremony nerves and walking down the aisle is still a special experience, despite seeing each other before. From that moment, I knew they had my best interests at heart and wanted to give me the best pictures of my wedding. I trusted them fully, and I was not disappointed. We didn't end up getting married at Z Mansion, but I have zero regrets doing first look and their creative and artistic vision captured the most beautiful moments of our day. We are obsessed with our pictures and absolutely loved working with Brian and Maria. To say they are amazing would be an understatement. I absolutely recommend them to anyone getting married. Your pictures are a big part of how you will remember your wedding forever, and they capture the best ones.

Best vendor decision ever!

I cannot say enough good things about The Gawnes. They were hands down our best vendor decision ever! They were VERY accessible and helped with so many wedding details that were above and beyond what we were expecting from our photographers. They were extremely organized and responsive which alleviated a lot of stress during the wedding planning process and also the day of. Brian and Maria are super passionate about photography and their pictures are truly a work of art. The Gawnes are also SO FUN to work with which helps a lot since you spend the most time with your photographers on your wedding day than anyone else! If you are looking to book a wedding photographer, look no further. The Gawnes WILL NOT disappoint.

The Gwanes are absolutely amazing! I am in love with my wedding photos. I feel so beautiful looking at how they captured me on my day. They also got so many great candid shots of our friends and family. I am seriously blown away every time I look at them. We also got super lucky and had an amazing sunset. The Gwanes were able to capitalize on the beauty of the sunset and the Z Mansion is actually using our photo in promotional shots! The minute we saw their body of work, we knew we wanted them to do our wedding. The pictures we ended up with were worth every. single. penny. I can't recommend them more strongly!

Maria and Brian flew out to Florida to shoot our destination wedding and they were AMAZING!! They were extremely thorough and made sure all the pictures we were envisioning on our special day were captured. We had the best time with them and would book them again in a heart beat! Loved every second of it and so thankful they could make it all the way to Florida for our day!! Thank you both so much!!

The Gawnes were absolutely wonderful! My husband and I would rather be behind a camera than in front of one, but Maria and Brian put us at ease and made both our engagement photo shoot and our wedding photos fun and laid-back experiences! They are very professional and make a great team, treating you like a friend and not just a client. Any questions we had, they answered them quickly, and they offered different wedding packages so we were able to find one that fit our budget. My husband and I wanted to do some of our first look photos at a distillery we really like instead of the bar that was closer to our venue, the Gawnes didn't hesitate. They even brought us to another venue close to the one we chose, and the pictures taken there are some of our favorites! They captured the big moments as well as the small, tender moments during our wedding day and we couldn't be happier with our photos! Maria even did the bustle on my wedding dress and switched out my veil for my jeweled hair comb after the ceremony! The Gawnes are amazing and we highly recommend them!

The Gawnes were amazing at my recent wedding! They were so helpful, and made the picture process fun and easy for my photo-newbie husband and I. We absolutely LOVED Maria and Brian. They took amazing photos and were so patient with us. They were game for 'fun', interesting photos and that's exactly what I wanted! Brian and Maria are awesome!! Husband and Wife team that are really fun to work with. Maria is a master of many trades. Not only can she take amazing photos, but she stepped in and bustled my dress is no time at all, and even took it upon herself to help and encourage a family member who was having a hard time with a performance during our reception.

Brian and Maria are wonderful people to work with! They're professional, courteous, and creative. These two amazing people will make your day a breeze… I NEEDED that. They are fun and creative, instead of robotic and boring. I wanted photos I've never seen before….that looked like US. And it was DONE! Amazingly well priced too!

They're very open to suggestions. I would suggest looking up a lot of different poses you love. We were always told that most photographers wouldn't even let us get a word in, but that wasn't the case AT ALL with Gawne. They did have a lot of beautiful ideas, but they were also very open to suggestions.

The Gawne Designs Photography team was the perfect fit for our wedding! They are professional, fun people and we could not be happier with how the photos turned out. The day of, they came ready to capture all of the moments we would most want to remember. They were open to our ideas, yet came in with many ideas of their own so we wouldn't have to worry about setting anything up or organizing groups of people. We basically told them we wanted bright, fun pictures with our bridal party and that and that we were open to suggestions, so they took us to the Tucson Convention Center and had many ideas for groupings, poses and different backgrounds to try. It was cloudy and gray the day of our wedding, but they managed to light everything in a cheerful, bright way, so in the pictures you never would have known. At both the ceremony and reception they managed to capture the best moments without disrupting any of our guests. Since we were married on the 4th of July, they even set up a night-shoot for us with fireworks in the background!
Two days after the wedding they posted (with our permission) a few edited photos on Facebook that we could share with our family and friends. About a month after the wedding they had 900+ photos ready for us on a flash drive (both full-sized and web-sized files). The pictures are beautiful. Our family and friends love them and have commented on how they did such a great job capturing the joy of the day. There was an excellent balance of posed and candid photos overall, and we feel very lucky to have all of these memories caught on "film". Brian and Maria shoot with an artistic eye, and because of that we feel they would photograph any couple in a unique, truthful way.

If I could go back and do it all again, I would still hire Gawne Designs. They are a sweet couple who really focus on taking the best photographs and making their clients happy without a lot of the unnecessary up charges that you get with other photographers. Brian and Maria helped make my day special and because of their stunning photography, the happiest day of my life will last forever.

Gawne Designs took beautiful maternity photos of me while I was pregnant and then of my baby when he was a newborn. They made the maternity shoot comfortable for me, being I was pretty far in my pregnancy. They captured some really creative shots that I would have never imagined or thought of. I have seen some of their other work on their website like weddings and I only wish I knew about Gawne Designs when my husband and I got married. Makes me want to redo our wedding pictures using them, but we will wait until our renewal of vows in a few years. The photos they took of my son at a week old were just stunning and I I'll cherish the photos forever. Thanks Gawne Designs for your creativity and knowledge and professionalism.

Maria and Brian were a pleasure to work with. They navigated a challenging situation (an adorable but unruly dog, complex family arrangements, my poor scheduling) with grace, professionalism, and humor. Both my husband and I dislike posing for photos, but the Gawnes made the whole process fun, which helped us relax and act natural. We love the photos (and the in-laws do as well!). I love the way they made us feel. We were very comfortable with them. Maria was very patient with my crazy family! ? I would and have recommended them to friends! I know that when we start a family, I will contact them again for pictures! They are AMAZING!!! ❤️

Best photography experience I've ever had. Period. They dealt with difficult family and excessive selfie-takers quickly and politely. I had preliminary shots to share on Facebook the next day, ahead of the agreed upon dates. They really go above and beyond to make the photos perfect and capture every moment in the best possible way.

Brian and Maria were great! They let us control as much as we wanted and took over when we didn't have any preference on shots. We are getting the shots in now and they are wonderful!
