Hiring Gavin as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. The photos of our venue from his blog were actually what convinced us to pick the venue (and Bermuda!) as the site for our destination wedding. When it came time to choose a photographer, we of course wanted Gavin, and it was a relief when he was available.
Gavin was so professional yet fun and friendly. My husband is not a fan of having photos taken, but under Gavin’s skilled and relaxed guidance, he was so comfortable. We really enjoyed ourselves! Numerous guests later told us unprompted how they were really impressed by our photographer.
Our welcome dinner and wedding day photos are INCREDIBLE. Honestly, words can’t describe how beautiful they are. Gavin has this special touch that makes everything and everyone look true to life yet gorgeous and joyous. The photos we received were everything we wanted and more, and they truly are a testament to his talent. Additionally, he got us the 1000+ photos (somehow every single one amazing) in under 2 weeks! We were happily surprised at the turnaround time. Our guests yet again told us that we lucked out with an exceptional photographer after seeing the photos.
Our only sadness is that we won’t get another chance to work with Gavin unless we go back to Bermuda. I guess working with him again is a good excuse to travel back to our now-favorite little island! -

We hired Gavin for our wedding, and it's one of the best decisions we made. He's incredibly easy to work with (we were planning our wedding from the US), and made taking pictures on our wedding day so fun and painless. Everyone has complimented us on how beautiful our pictures turned out and we keep finding new favorites each time we look through them. -

Flying to Bermuda from Florida, and knowing photos were one of the most important things to me as a future Bride, I was very nervous. We flew down in Jan 19', met with Gavin, and I immediately knew I could relax. We flew down again for our wedding a few weeks ago (Oct 19') and he shot our engagement session a few days before our wedding. It was so nice shooting with Gavin. Let's just say that my husband's least favorite thing is taking photos and he even had fun! The session helped us both get acclimated to what it would be like on our special day, and seeing how Gavin made our shoot fun, adventurous, and creative... we were now even more excited and relaxed for our wedding day. Our wedding came... along with 30MPH crazy winds and we had to make a few last minute changes. With Gavin being so calm and confident that everything was still going to be amazing, this bride (normally a control freak) completely let go, went with the flow and now I can't imagine it any differently. He asked us multiple times if we would still be comfortable doing so, but he knew it was very important to me to climb down the rocky stairs of SandyMount, climb on the cliffs/rocks, with the waves crashing around us, and we of course said yes! Dress ruined and all..... his photo delivery (1 week later) was everything we ever hoped and dreamed of! Gavin is a class act, professional, super laid back, up for anything, unbelievable photographer. And his passion for his work is evident the second you meet him. So thankful for our experience with him. -

Gavin was recommended to us by our wedding planner (The Traveling Bride) and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Gavin contacted us ahead of our wedding day to check whether we had any specific requests, we didn't but did ask for him to provide our older guests with clear instructions to make sure we didn't waste any valuable time and were able to get some great pictures with everyone.
On the day, Gavin definitely delivered...he captured so many great pictures and managed to get everyone into place in a calm, friendly and lighthearted manner without anyone feeling 'ordered around'.
We would not hesitate to recommend Gavin, we have so many wonderful pictures and he truly captured the mood of our wedding day as well as the stunning surroundings. He had our images to us within 10 days of our weddding day too, so no hanging around waiting to see the pictures and there are so many beautiful pictures to share with our friends and family. -

Amazing pictures
I asked for a few pictures to send to family on the day of my elopement so that is what I will upload here but even after only seeing those couple I am beyond thrilled with Gavin. He was so professional and courteous during our wedding day, he made me feel as if i was having the big white wedding and not a simple elopement on the beach. He gave easy to follow, thoughtful direction during posed photos and captured natural looking candid photos as well. He was also a really cool guy, and was fun to talk with during the shoot. -

Gavin‘s warmth and confidence put us at ease on our big day, you could tell just by speaking with him how passionate and experienced he was about wedding photography, we just knew we were in good hands! He really captured the stunning landscapes as well as telling the story of our wedding day by catching all the little fine details. My husband and I both said from the moment we booked him that he was the one vendor we knew we could rely on and we weren’t wrong. Hi was spot on with the timings of all the photos following the ceremony ensuring we were able to spend as much time as possible with our guest which was our main priority. He also put us at great ease in a situation that was completely alien to us. We are absolutely thrilled with the photos and will cherish them forever. -

Taryn Sent on 09/14/2018When my wedding planner gave me the list of photographers that she worked with in the past Gavin’s work and professionalism immediately stood out. I traveled to Bermuda to check out my venue and make my final decision on a photographer. Gavin agreed to come meet with me and discuss how he photographs weddings. This meeting gave me the confidence that Gavin could perfectly capture my wedding. I am so thankful for Gavin’s attention to detail and for him being there even when I didn’t realize it. Your wedding is a huge day in your life and it goes by in the blink of an eye. He captured every special moment from me getting ready with my girls, to my husband waiting for me to come down the aisle. He even captured the massive conga line that made its way into the photo booth. Gavin went above and beyond and stayed for my entire wedding, as my groom got sick and we did not do the father daughter dance until the very end of the night. I would recommend any bride use Gavin if they want to enjoy their wedding stress free knowing every moment will be captured.
