Wedding DJ!

We decided to use Jesse and his team for our November wedding this year, and he was everything we wanted and more! From the moment he arrived to our venue, he was helping out with all kinds of things- he passed out cake, helped with the ceremony flow, got guests drinks, and of course played great music! We would choose Gavigan Entertainment time and time again.

No worries , friendly and professional

I reached out to Jesse via email and received a response within an hour. My wedding was a destination so I arrived in Hilton head in July of 2021. Jesse took the time to meet me and I instantly knew his personality, vibe and style was perfect for my big day. Jesse was responsive to all my questions and ensure he understood exactly what I wanted. Jesse arrived on time, set up and kept all my guest on the dance floor! His transitions were spot on, was able to read the room and kept it flowing. I couldn’t of asked for a better DJ to keep my guest and myself dancing. Jesse is absolutely amazing at spinning but also a great person. Don’t skip by Jesse, book it now!

Amazing DJ!

Jesse did an AMAZING job with our day. He was our DJ and did our day-off coordination and we could not have been happier with how everything turned out. He listened to what we wanted for songs played during our ceremony and made sure it ran on time and without any problems. He did an excellent job announcing the entrances for the reception and had a great opening for a surprise dance we did! He kept the party going and made sure that everyone was up and dancing and that we enjoyed all of it. He also brought a fan to make sure that my groom and I were able to cool down since we were outside all day. He went above and beyond our expectations!

Best and most entertaining DJ around!

If you guys want an awesome DJ go with Gavigan Entertainment! Jesse keeps the party going and doesn’t stop! He’s super interactive and continues to keep the party going! Seriously, he’s the best and can do whatever you need! For the garter toss, he was able to mix up songs, and it fit together perfectly!

Fun and flexible

Jesse really gets the party going and gets all guests out on the dance floor. So fun! He was super flexible to move outside for us on the day of and let my brother play some music!

Jesse Gavigan did everything we asked and more, making our reception music a blast! He even moved all of his gear outside, so that the guests who were enjoying the patio could get in on the dance action.

Great experience

Our wedding was this past weekend & we are so pleased with our choice to have hired Gavigan entertainment as our DJ. Jesse was so great to work with from beginning to end. Jesse and savannah are BY FAR the best entertainers I know. When everything seemed to be going sideways, the stepped in, took control, and helped give me the wedding of my dreams.
My wedding planner basically backed out the day before the wedding and voluntarily took on that role with NO hesitation and sent me away to relax just hours before the wedding. When I walked down the aisle, I was so amazed at how beautiful everything turned out just in the few hours I wasn’t in there.
Jesse is so personable and high energy, making it feel like we have known him our whole lives. He kept drinks in our hands all night, hyped up the whole crowd, and most importantly gave us a night we will never forget! I am so thankful we chose you guys! Thank you so much again! I will always recommend you guys to anyone!

Wow! Jesse and Savannah were AMAZING to work with! I had my wedding on 8/25/18 and Jesse was the DJ. He took total control, made sure everything flowed smoothly, and had infectious energy. Many guests at my reception commented on how good the music was and how nice the DJ seemed to be! He got everyone engaged and out on the dance floor which was exactly what I wanted. During the time I was choosing DJ's, and eventually once I chose Jesse, I had many life events going on and probably wasn't as responsive as I normally would be. Jesse didn't panic at all, totally understood, and once I was locked in again he was ready and waiting! Also, on top of all this, I was dealing with a last second rain call and Jesse was super flexible. Once I decided to go forth with it on the beach, he was there, perfectly set up, and ready to go, all on time! He ROCKED it and I seriously cannot recommend him enough! He was so reasonably priced, so personable, and after all of this I feel like I actually came away with not only a DJ but a FRIEND! CHOOSE JESSE!!!!!

Jesse was amazing to work with for our wedding! He was extremely flexible with guest song requests, Ryan and I's Spotify lists, and had a great sense of the crowd and how to keep everyone up and dancing! He was frequently checking in throughout the night, and would keep us on track with the events we needed to be on for (bouquet toss, cake cutting, couple exit, etc.). Thank you to Jesse and his team for helping create such amazing memories for Ryan and I and our guests, and for sharing so many amazing videos for us to relive after the wedding! Would definitely recommend!

Jesse was so amazing to work with from the get go! He is so on top of things and read my mind! He thinks of everything so that everything is taken care of. All of my guests said that they couldn't remember the last time they danced so much or had so much fun! I could not have dreamed up a better DJ. He also took some amazing candid photos of my wedding! Such a hardworking and genuinely great person who really cares about your event and making sure it is everything you want it to be and better!

HOLY GUACAMOLE. Jesse went ABOVE AND BEYOND. We met Jesse at a wedding festival. My husband (then fiance) just got really good vibes from Jesse and pressured me into booking him. I'm SO happy I caved. We did the Platinum package, I believe, which included all of the things- most importantly, the day-of coordination. I sent Jesse my timeline, and he basically handled everything after he got there- this went from telling the wedding party when to walk into the ceremony, making sure we stick to the timeline, sending my MOH into the bathroom after me when he thought I was upset (I was fine, just trying to get all of the cake off of my face- hah!), providing a GIANT cooling fan for when he thought I was hot in my dress, and so much more... He also really got the party going- he was out teaching people line dances and seriously made the wedding. I don't know what my wedding would've been like without Jesse, and I'm so glad I didn't have to find out! Seriously, book him, it's worth every penny!

Such a great experience! Easy to work with, flexible, and very quick to adapt. Jessie arrived early, helped move our wedding inside (since it was raining), and even filled up our drinks during dinner. He checked in multiple times and was always open to whatever we wanted. Awesome job!!

Jesse was just perfect. From the moment we got on the phone, I thought I was talking to an old friend. You could tell right away that he LOVES what he does. When I told him I had my own play list, he encouraged me to send it along. He was able to mix my songs in with music he enjoys as well and "we" were the hit of the party! Everyone said we had such a great mix... so thanks Jesse for making everyone happier than they already were. I wish we lived closer!!!

Jesse is one amazing guy! He made me feel so special at my wedding! He did everything I asked for music and the wedding march and when I did not know what to do for something, he got to know me so well he knew exactly what I needed! The day of my wedding went so smoothly because of him, even when things weren't going right! When it was time to eat, Jesse came in the line with me and held my plate and got all the food I wanted and brought it to my seat with my drink of choice! I had a very small wedding, but he made it feel like the biggest, best party! I can not explain how grateful I am that Jesse was there for my wedding! We had our wedding ceremony on the beach & the music was clear and on point. They never missed a beat plus they went above and beyond they actually brought us (the bride & groom) our dinner so we didn’t have to get up and they also pinned the men’s boutineers which was extremely helpful. I used Gavigan Entertainement's DJ service for a July 4th Pool party at the private club I manage. Jesse and his team were amazing. They were on time, set up quickly and were all around very professional. I was fairly general in my music request, other than to ask for music appropriate for kids and adults - fun, beachy, pool party music and it was spot on. Several members came up to me to let me know that the music was perfect. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again for future events. I also think the price was fair as well, especially for a busy holiday like July 4th.

Jesse exceeded my expectations. I was truly happy with all that he and Rebecca did for our wedding. He was very responsive and kept me grounded through the entire time leading up to the wedding. I absolutely adored his bubbly personality and positivity while working with him. I will say planning and executing your own wedding without a planner/coordinator is tough but having Jesse to work with was a lifesaver. Jesse went above and beyond for us, I'm still getting compliments about him. I would highly recommend him for any future weddings.

Hands down the best DJ and the experience that he gave our family was amazing, to this day we still talk and laugh about how engaged he was at our wedding, he kept the flow of the wedding going, taught new dances, and played music that kept people on the dance floor. What an amazing DJ, not only a DJ but an event organizer, dance instructor, and i would recommend Gavigan Entertainment to everyone I know. While walking through a "wedding walk" in Savannah with my parents collecting ideas for my wedding (that was still over a year away), we came across Jesse Gavigan of Gavigan Entertainment. They had a great deal on 5 hours of DJ service for $555. I was immediately sold, but I felt like it wasn't right to make the final decision without my fiancé. Jesse was extremely nice and helpful and fully understood my hesitancy to book without discussing with my fiancé. He gave me his contact info and I called to book him before I ever even got home that day! (of course, I called and got the okay from my fiancé first!)
Our wedding reception was without a doubt the best ever. Jesse was so professional, but "wacky" at the same time - dancing with us and getting everyone on the dance floor! He was notified of our college mascot coming to crash the party and within moments was ready to surprise all of our guests with his arrival to do the "Cupid Shuffle" with everyone! This was just the beginning of a super fun night and we thank Jesse for all of his help in making it so wonderful!
Brides: Jesse kept folks away from us while we ate our meal and also allowed me to sit behind the DJ station where they had a floor fan to help cool me off! (My dress was beautiful, but maybe 7 layers of dress is a little too much if you love dancing as much as I do!)
All in all, I would highly recommend Jesse as a wedding DJ for anyone! He was absolutely perfect for our special day! Thanks, Jesse! You rock! ❤

Absolutely hire Gavigan Entertainment!!! The two DJs, Spencer and DJ, were professional, fun and responsive. We had people of all ages having the most fun. It was a great, great night and thank you so much for being a part of our special day and making it an absolute blast.

Jesse & his team were incredible. They had the entire wedding dancing all night. I've never had such a good time at a wedding (and I'm not just saying that because it was my own). I was so consumed on the dance floor, I didn't even remember to grab a slice of cake!

Jesse and his assistant were awesome and out of this world. They kept the wedding guests dancing, laughing and smiling. LOVED the interaction with ALL guests during our reception. Jesse & his team (yes team) went ABOVE AND BEYOND our expectations! Absolutely LOVED his energy and his personality can't be beat!! He's great with communicating before the event, during and is willing to do ANYTHING to ensure a great time! He brought a team with him that wasn't expected at no extra cost and they NAILED it! An outstanding experience for our high school dance. Jesse was very professional and easy to work with. Went above and beyond to make sure the music was appropriate and enjoyable for the students. Most importantly, he did a great job encouraging and teaching the students different dances. Set up and take down was also quick.

If you want the best DJ around you have to get this wonderful guy!! I cannot rave enough about him...he is not only an awesome DJ but he went and goes above and beyond his so called "duites", from the very start of this process...to meeting with us...to the very day he is there 100%! I can honestly say it felt like he was more like our personal wedding planner for the day and a long time friend that came to celebrate and make sure everything was what we all wanted it to be!! We had no complaints at all. With ability to pick our own playlist this insured a personable experience for the whole party contingent. Plus we were able to request songs on the night with no problems even when our British song requests were often obscure and rare. Jesse & Jess were always smiling and genuinely seemed happy to be with us, I would not hesitate in utilising their services again.

I knew the DJ was going to be great but I didn't know he wAs going to be AMAZING!!! He got the crowd up and dancing and was so interactive with us all, he even got on the floor to dance some with us and show us some moves! We had the time of our lives that night! He gets back to you asap, but he always picked up when I needed him for anything at all! He was so great that our venue put him on their preferred list of DJs so upcoming brides can get him! I will definitely Keep in contact with him!

Jesse was extremely easy to work with, has a great questionnaire to help you make decisions about your event in advance, and truly strives to ensure that everyone has a great time. Our event had a number of young children in attendance. Of course songs designed to appeal to six year olds was not on the list but during the lull between seating and meal service - he popped in songs from the Disney movie "Frozen" much to the delight of this crowd who were no longer wiggling in their seat but instead dancing and giggling with pleasure on the dance floor while giving Mom's and Dad's a bit of peace. The event schedule was timed to perfection and the multigenerational dance floor was hopping all night. Gavigan Entertainment Group should be your go to for any event.

There are seriously not enough words to express how great his services are! He made sure to get everyone up and on the dance floor. My guests has such a great time, one paid to extend him another hour to keep the party going! Best decision you will make for your wedding reception is hiring him to be there!

They were absolutely phenomenal. I would highly recommend their services. Jesse even got out on the dance floor and was teaching everyone the different line dances. When the party moved to the bar, Jesse moved his speakers so we could continue to dance and have a good time. He was accommodating and the night was great! :)

Jesse was our DJ at our wedding and he was excellent! He got everyone up and dancing throughout the whole night! If there was a dance playing that people did not know the steps to he got out there and showed people. He responded quickly to any emails I had with questions/ comments. We would definitely use him again!

We hired Gavigan Entertainment to DJ our wedding reception. If you have the opportunity to hire Jesse with Gavigan Entertainment Group, don't hesitate! You'll be glad you did. He was so easy to work with and genuinely cares about making your event a success. A lot of work goes into planning a wedding, and when you worry if everything will come together, it's so nice to work with vendors who make that happen. Jesse is one of those people. He even offered to help with things that aren't necessarily the job of a DJ. When you find someone willing to go above and beyond, what more is there to think about? And, even though we had an older crowd who didn't show much interest in dancing, Jesse got everyone out on the floor a couple of times. Once they got out there, you could tell they were having tons of fun. And when it came to other special moments throughout the evening, Jesse was right on point and communicating to make sure everything went smoothly. Don't know if I'll ever need to hire a DJ again, but if I do, Jesse will be the first call I make!

Jesse Gavigan and his assistant, Spencer, are the perfect complement to any celebration. We booked them for prom and they did a fantastic job at every turn - from being flexible at the actual dance to communicating with us months prior, we'd recommend them to anyone looking for DJ services.

Our wedding was on the beach in Hilton Head. We were so worried that our guests would not be able to hear our music and ceremony because of the wind and waves. Jesse and his co-worker were so kind and very professional. The music and sound were flawless. He was able to mic up our officiant and had plenty of microphones available for our reading and vows. I would highly recommend his company for any special event!

Jesse was amazing!

Jesse DJ'd our daughter's wedding and I can't say enough about how amazing and fun he was. He was a joy to work with and even joined a dance or two...easy questionnaire so all of the must do songs were played and gladly took requests...super fun day and I recommend Gavigan Entertainment Group highly

This DJ was difficult to communicate with and missed our in person meeting to discuss my wedding. He had promised to make up the meeting via FaceTime but never contacted me. There was no communication for months coming up to my wedding and then he canceled my contract just 29 days before my wedding. I would not use this DJ at all. On wedding wire this DJ shows up as 5 stars but check out other sites like Facebook for his well deserved 1 star rating.

Don't do it!! I hired this company because they were offering a great wedding show deal. Of course like the saying goes.. If it's too good to be true it probably is. Communication with them in the beginning was scarce unless it was about money. Then they were happy to talk. They forgot about my wedding date and sent me someone who didn't know what she was doing. She was incredibly sweet but she was very unprepared. I paid for lights that she did not have. We were introduced by my husband's first name instead of his last name. She did not have our ceremony music. She did not know my bridal party's names. She played Bob Marley during my ceremony. She interrupted me speaking with my family so I would conga and when we politely declined she continued to insist several times. Gavigan Entertainment had all of my information and knew what should have been played and said. I should not have had to help her download the table music. My photographer should not have had to play ceremony music from his ipad. My friends should not have had to explain to her what latin music is (It's not Ricky Martin) and they certainly shouldn't have had to plug in their phones to help her. After my honeymoon I tried to handle this with Jesse but got the run around saying I cannot be seen until two months later. His assistant always says she will get back to me but never does. I am out of money even though the services were not provided. I have spoken with my bank and I am currently trying to get this handled. Be careful with this company. He talks a good game but if something goes wrong he is not there to own up to it. If you forget someone's wedding date and then don't provide lights or even a DJ with proper information than you don't deserve the full amount paid to you for those services.
