I wish I could leave more than 5 stars for Ellie, as she was amazing and hands down the best decision we made with our wedding process!
Ellie was an absolute dream to work with! She kept us organized and excited through every step of planning. She truly blew us away was in the final days leading up to the wedding because when we saw rain in the forecast, we were stressed. Ellie immediately stepped in and made miracles happen within just a few days pivoting our entire ceremony indoors. She redesigned our layout, coordinated with all the vendors within a few hours a new plan, and handled every detail so seamlessly that our wedding day turned out even more beautiful than we imagined.
Ellie made it so that we were able to fully enjoy our day without a single worry. Her professionalism, creativity, and genuine care made all the difference. We can’t recommend her enough. Do yourself a favor and hire Ellie!
It's been almost a year since our April 2024 wedding and we can still say hiring Ellie was the best decision we made.
Her passion and expertise for the wedding industry showed throughout the entire planning process. If my fiancé and I were ever unsure about a decision we knew we could go to Ellie for anything. She always provided us with a range of options when it came to vendors and ways to do things. She would tell you her honest opinion which was much appreciated but never pressure you into something.
Every vendor she recommended blew our expectations out of the water. Our wedding was the best day ever and we truly owe that all to her.

We had the extreme privilege of working with Ellie for 18 months (!!) to bring our Indian & Persian fusion wedding to life. I knew from our first call that Ellie would be a great person to work with — she is so warm, genuinely kind, and knows how to get to the point and get shit done. From the start, we turned to Ellie for everything - how to book our venue and find the right date, find and book all of our vendors, our planning timeline and shopping lists, and so many more things, big and small, along the way. I am an Operations Manager, and used to work in project management and events, and am quite particular about logistics and organization - I was continually impressed by Ellie and how she kept every detail meticulously tracked. It was daunting to be planning a 3 day wedding and inviting over 400 guests, but Ellie paced everything out so well throughout the 18 months of working together so as to avoid any overwhelm or bottlenecks. I had so many people ask me if I was stressed out throughout the process, and I truly was not because Ellie had a handle of everything, she only surfaced things when they mattered, and she did so much behind the scenes lifting that I didn’t even know about.
On top of her usual expertise, Ellie was willing to stretch her usual scope and experience to learn the customs of a Sikh wedding and she handled it with so much grace. It was important to me to work with someone who would take the time to learn and respect our traditions, and Ellie exceeded our expectations. She brought her experience of Persian weddings as well, helping us plan elements that were important to my husband’s family.
In this process, I learned that having such a strong lead at the helm and trusting in them and their partners is the best thing you can do. Ellie’s network of vendors is truly exceptional - everyone we met was so sincere and kind, and had a shared investment in making our wedding a success. It was truly exemplified during the wedding weekend when, and I am not exaggerating, every single person I talked to told me how seamlessly everything went. Everything was buttoned up, on time, and perfectly done. We had people asking me who my planner was so they could thank her because of how great the guest experience was. And this wasn’t a regular wedding day - we had 2 ceremonies in one day, on top of a big welcome party the night before. Across all of these moving parts and ceremonies, Ellie and her team executed everything flawlessly and truly went above and beyond their scope.
I could truly go on to write pages and pages more about how special it was to work with Ellie for our wedding. I already miss working with her dearly, and am jealous of anyone who’s yet to get started on this journey with her and her team. Trust that they care just as much, if not more, about your wedding. Trust that they will only bring on vendors who the know will have your best interest in mind. Trust that Ellie will not judge you or steer you anywhere that isn’t best for you. Wedding Planner Extraordinary!
Ellie was nothing short of AMAZING throughout the process. I was quite pleased during the planning process with her organization skills, vendor recommendations and suggestions but the day of the wedding service truly pushed her over the top!! We couldn't recommend her any higher and she will be our first call should we have another wedding to plan! (we do have one more daughter:) The wedding was lovely and we were so confident in her abilities that my daughter and I could simply relax and enjoy the day. -

Ellie is every couple's DREAM wedding planner!! From the first moment we got on the phone, she was so helpful and incredibly generous with sharing her energy, knowledge, and expertise. We were a little bit nervous to hire a planner because our family is super ethnic, but Ellie was incredibly understanding and respectful of all of our traditions, helping us create a Jewish-Slavic-American fusion wedding that people are still talking about non-stop!
Ellie is very responsible, efficient, flexible, and superb at managing a wedding budget, taking away all the stress and worry for the couple. She has great style and knows how to bring your vision to life, even if you're not 100% clear on it yet. Hiring Ellie was the best investment we could have made not only for our wedding day but our sanity everyday leading up to it... our peace of mind. We never worried about if something would get done or if we missed anything because she did not let one single thing fall through the cracks. I stopped setting alarms/reminders because she was so on top of it. Throughout the process she presented us with options and we picked the ones we liked and if we asked for her opinion she gently lead us in a direction we loved. She kept us on budget and we always knew where we were at financially. She responds in a timely manner, is on time, VERY organized and ALWAYS a few steps ahead. Ellie is just an overall kind and sweet person who genuinely cares about your big day as much as you do, you feel like she's a best friend you've known your whole life. Ellie was the MOST amazing planner we ever could have asked for! She was incredibly organized throughout the entire yearlong planning process, so on top of everything, did an amazing job of balancing our personalities & wishes while keeping us on time and on budget. She has all the amazing connections and knew the best way to handle every single communication and negotiation. The execution on the day of the wedding by Ellie & her team was flawless, made for the most perfect day.
Ellie & her husband went the extra mile every step of the way to make this day the greatest day of our lives (including giving us a ride back to the Airbnb at the end of the wedding night 30mins in the opposite direction!) and we truly consider them to be friends of ours.

Best wedding planner ever!
Ellie was such a great decision for our wedding! She really took the stress and pressure off of the planning process. She kept us on track with our wedding planning timeline and wedding events. I felt safer knowing that I had a diligent professional overseeing the entire process. Ellie was super helpful and gave really great tips and tricks for a successful wedding. She was really great at staying organized and keeping track of the budget for us. Ellie was there for us every single step of the way, and coordinated a perfect day for my husband and I. As a night shift nurse, my scheduling is all over the place, so Ellie was a massive help in planning my bridal shower, bachelorette party, and rehearsal dinner. The intricate timeline she made for us was planned out to the minute, and definitely made for a reception that went off without a hitch. Not only was Ellie extremely organized, responsive, and helpful in all aspects of our wedding planning, but she helped us seamlessly move our wedding to a new date (with many vendors already booked). If you're going to get married in a pandemic, then hire Gatherings by Elle to plan it. If you're not going to get married in a pandemic... then still hire Gatherings by Elle! Seriously, Ellie was fantastic. She took care of our every need in the 18 months leading up to our big day. Where do I even start??? We hired Ellie at end of 2019 for our would-be 2020 wedding for a partial planning package. Ellie handled all the covid changes and postponements like a pro, walking us thru everything, and then in 2021 we finally started planning again and honestly I don’t know how anyone plans any wedding without a planner. Ellie is out here at the site visit asking questions of the venue manager about AV capabilities and other things that wouldn’t even cross my mind. Also we hired her for partial planning but I honestly felt like she did the job of a full time planner, like she did SO MUCH, I’m so grateful. Not only is Ellie all over logistics, she has great taste bc I kinda just showed her some photos and she conceived of the entire decor plan and handled all convos with the florist, which is great bc I’m not good at aesthetics! On the day, she ran our wedding perfectly and when random last minute unforeseen issues with the venue came up, she just knocked them out calmly and quickly like it was nothing. Our guests kept telling us how they’ve never been to a wedding that actually ran to schedule, and that’s all bc Ellie is a boss. Amazing job Ellie and team!Gatherings by Elle's reply:

Ellie is truly a top of the line planner and I am incredibly lucky to have had her help. With Ellie on your team, wedding planning is a dream and actually fun. It kind of felt like we were working with /talking to a highly organized and knowledgeable friend. Looking back I have no idea how in the heck someone plans a wedding without an Ellie. She made us feel as though she had everything 100% under control. She has great vendor contacts with varying price lists, perfect for anyone trying to be smart with their budget or trying to go big. Incredible! No Doubt, Elle Should Be Your Number One Choice
I feel like this review was long past due--sorry Elle! Elle helped to coordinate our wedding a year ago, and I cannot stop raving about how she pulled off the impossible. I'm not the most detail oriented bride so I was expecting a few bumps in the road for our reception. But nothing really prepared us for rain, our rental companies' failure to build the tables for our reception, and the crazy difficulties with pulling off a "bring ALL your own vendors" kind of wedding. Through each of these difficulties, Elle was quick to come up with solutions and execute her plans with military precision and utmost grace, even with limited resources and time. I was able to really enjoy our wedding day without stress because I could see that she really had everything under control. If you are on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator--like how I was--don't be. Jump on the other side of the fence and hire Elle. Ellie was THE BEST decision my husband and I made. I didn’t want anyone to feel stressed the day of the wedding and Ellie made sure that didn’t happen. She went above and beyond and helped us so much with planning and vendor communication. Ellie was on top of everything but she involves you in every decision there is to be made. I had my wedding on August 28, 2020, and let me tell you, it has been a whirlwind it has been for all Covid brides. I couldn't have made it happen if it wasn't for Ellie. She was nothing but supportive in the three times I had to postpone and cancel my wedding. I knew I wanted to have a wedding coordinator on the biggest day of my life but I didn't realize how necessary she is in the entire day and the normal mishaps that happen. My entire family, bridal party, and even guests noticed how hard working Ellie is, and are already asking me for her info for their own weddings! She showed up early, made sure everything was set up EXACTLY the way I wanted. My favorite part about her is her amazing communication (for someone who is type A in organization) Ellie had full communication with all of my vendors which made it super easy for them to know when/where to drop off flowers, cake, decor, etc. Anytime I needed something from her, she was literally always nearby and would drop what she was doing to make sure I was taken care of! I feel like I hit the coordinator jack pot! Don't look elsewhere for your coordinator needs, Ellie is your girl!Gatherings by Elle's reply:

No really, Ellie saved us! We were one of those couples that thought we had already come this far, let's just finish the wedding planning on our own. Our venue highly recommended a Day of Coordinator and after chatting with Ellie we decided to hire her for 6 weeks out. The second we hired her she was so on top of things. Replied right away to emails, if she was cc'd on something she immediately took care of it. One thing I absolutely loved about working with her was how HONEST she was. She would research multiple places before giving us the best quote, she would talk out the pros and cons of doing certain things instead of just giving us a straight answer. She was even the bad guy on behalf of us when dealing with another vendor! We were dealing with the possibility of rain all week leading up to our wedding and she came up with solutions ON THE SPOT for everything: Plan A, Plan B, Plan C: all executed and worked out within the week. We felt so at ease having her on our team and our bridal party raved about her. We were also the last wedding before the Coronavirus lockdown laws went into effect the following day; which meant way more last-minute changes in the last week (including day of!) that were not according to plan and she rolled with everything. She didn't highlight any of these issues and instead made us feel so special for our Wedding Day. Despite all of the hurdles, it was the best day of our lives and we owe so much of it to Ellie.
If you are thinking of booking her and are tight on money, trust me she is worth it- she will help you cut costs elsewhere! Do not hesitate to book also, I had 3 friends who are getting married ask me for her info and I anticipate she will be hard to book soon!

Ellie was truly a saving grace. I hired her for her 6 week wedding coordinator duties and she made my life so much easier. Whether it was meetings at our reception, adding/adjusting/fixing the timeline, decorating our venue, answering phone calls with questions from me, she was there with a positive attitude ready to handle it. She is the GBEst
There are no right words to explain how perfect our wedding day was because of Ellie's magical touch. I accidentally found her on Instagram, but I was still hesitant to get in touch with her in the beginning but I am so glad I did. She is very straightforward- gave me direct answers to questions and I was already impressed by that. Come 1 month before the wedding, here goes Ellie- very organized, very detailed. She will never confuse you with emails and responses nor let you feel you the pressure of answering her back right away. And when you meet her, you will know right away that she's very genuine and really loves what she does.
Ellie is very assuring. You know that feeling when there's a special occasion when you need your best friend and when she's there, you feel at ease, you can finally calm your head down and say 'everything's going to be alright'?That's how I felt (Let me tell you, I am not the one who trusts easily) on my wedding day.
Our wedding day was everything I ever imagined. Ellie and her team did such an amazing job on that day and I will never forget that.

Completely amazing
I’m writing this review during our honeymoon because I don’t want to forget how perfect our day was and all Elle did for us. Elle at Gatherings by Elle helped make our wedding day absolutely perfect! During the planning process, she helped answer every question I had. She was always responsive via email and I loved how engaging her social media on Instagram was so I could see all the other weddings she was working on. You can tell she is passionate about helping couples make their wedding dreams come true. She was very patient and helped me put together our event timeline and made stellar recommendations. I was able to enjoy every moment of my wedding because of Elle. She helped ensure that the ceremony and reception were on time and enjoyable for everyone. She came and let my partner and I know when it was time to do our entrance, dance, cake cutting and communicated all logistical issues we had with vendors to ensure she kept us in the loop. If you want to enjoy your day and not have to worry about all the logistics and ensure it’s perfect- from table decor, to timing cues, to fixing your train when you walk down the aisle, to not having to assign responsibilities to a friend or family member who you want to also enjoy the day, hire GBE. You will feel sooooo HAPPY you hired her and more importantly, your day will be amazing! I will be recommending her to every friend who gets engaged. Elle is the absolute best! Having her help with your wedding is one of the smartest things you can do. I had the pleasure of working with her when I booked her as my day of coordinator. She made sure that my day ran smoothly and that I was able to enjoy my wedding, rather than freaking out over the small stuff. She is responsive to emails and texts, organized, experienced, and kind. From a month before the wedding, she was already in contact with all of my vendors making sure that everything would be fine. I had a very large traditional wedding and she was able to handle the size and traditions like a pro. I wish that I had hired her to help plan the entire wedding! I can't really put into words how pivotal Elle's presence was. My wedding was the best night of my life, perfectly executed by Elle! I was able to relax and be pampered all day while Elle was confidently setting up, bringing my vision to life. I could not imagine a better scenario. I didn't have to worry about anything.
