Perfection! Rustic meets sophistication!

Rehearsal dinner perfection! I wish I could give this rating SIX stars instead of five because they surpassed in every way. The food was amazing, the setting was warm, inviting, beautiful! Darrell, Jill and Donna were a step ahead of us at every turn. They accommodated our every request and anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. Professional and personal! I would recommend Gather in Downtown McKinney for ANY event. Ours happened to be a rehearsal dinner for 80. . . but they could handle anything, large or small. THANK YOU Gather!

5/5 - would use for next marriage.

The unique space of Gather, combined with the excellent service, made our wedding and reception fun, stress-free, and memorable.

Our wedding had around 65 people, but the space can easily be arranged to support 100+ guests comfortably. On a nice day, there are several unique locations nearby for pictures. On a not-so-nice day, like ours, there are some great locations in the venue itself, so you wont miss out on having a cool backdrop. Acoustics were important to us, and the intimate space allows you to be heard during the ceremony without microphones. The location of the venue just can't be beat. With a shiny new parking garage right down the street, parking isn't a problem. There's also the added benefit of being within walking distance of the main square, so if you feel like going out after, there are lots of options.

If you plan on hiring a day of coordinator - hire Jennifer, the venue's owner. She has tons of experience, is always upbeat and positive, organized, patient, and all around awesome. We seriously can't say enough great things about her. Between being attentive to the bridal party in the bridal suite, and keeping us fed and watered throughout the night, we didn't have much to worry about and could focus on being present. She'll give you as little or as much help as you need ironing out the finer details of the wedding, and ensure you end up happy.

For food, Gather has an exclusive caterer, CN Catering. They have a decent number of different options to choose from. Appetizers in particular were great, and we'll give a special shout out to the Honey Walnut Shrimp for being delicious. Instead of cake, we went with the bite-sized desserts, which was a great choice.

The staff was especially fantastic. They were responsive and professional, and made us feel like VIPs the whole day.

All in all, our wedding at Gather was really incredible and we were so glad we decided to celebrate there.

This is the place to be!

From the moment we met with Jennifer at Gather and toured the venue we knew it was going to be THE perfect place to say "I Do". The entire process from start to finish was super simple and you can tell that Jennifer, and her entire staff, are truly invested and passionate about making your day special. When it came to planning a wedding we weren't sure where to start, but thankfully we didn't have to worry once we booked with Gather. Elegant, Professional, Impeccable Staff!

LOVED hosting my Basic B! book launch at The Gather in Downtown McKinney, I couldn't of picked a more perfect place! Jennifer and the entire staff went out of their way for every guest and made it so easy for me to fly in and host a effortless beautiful event! The decor was beautiful and the ambiance of the sweet downtown elegant home town feel with even the Christmas lights still up was priceless! HIGHLY recommend!

Jennifer and her venue Gather in downtown Mckinney was just the place we were looking for. She made the experience smooth and as stress free as a reception can be. She guided us, made suggestions but always tried to instill the vision we had for my daughters wedding. The caterer CN was delicious, hot and plentiful. Gorgeous Venue, Wonderful Staff!

I can't say enough great things about Gather! For one, it's a beautiful venue. It's intimate and cozy but still feels spacious, and it looks so romantic at night with the brick wall and the chandeliers all lit up. And two, Jennifer is the most helpful venue owner and runs her business like a well-oiled machine. From our first conversation, I felt confident that we were in great hands. She has many tips and tricks to make the planning process seamless, and the venue being fairly all-inclusive (tables, linens, in-house caterer) made it a cakewalk because we didn't have to hire a large number of vendors. I didn't spend a moment on my wedding weekend wondering if everything would go well at the venue - I just had the peace of mind that it would. We had many compliments from our guests on the beautiful venue and delicious food from CN Catering. Thanks Jennifer and Team for helping make our wedding reception such a memorable event!

Incredible!

Jennifer at Gather was a true Godsend. She anticipated our needs and coordinated everything down to the very last detail. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, elegant, and warm. Every Detail Covered

Jennifer at Gather is simply the best - her attention to detail was impressive, knowledge of the field and local vendors unmatched, and was both lovely and efficient to work with. I recommend booking her for the day of coordination, as she handled everything and her knowledge of the space is hugely valuable.

The Fairy Godmother to your Fairy Tale!

What is Cinderella with her fairy godmother?! I've spent weeks trying to put into words how grateful, amazed and truly awed by Jennifer and the whole Gather staff. They transformed our vision into the most magical night of our lives. Jennifer was there for every phone call, every email to offer reassurance, advice and support for any and every request. She was prepared and efficient when the reins needed to be turned over and I never had the chance to few an ounce of stress. It was a seamless, stress-free and truly perfect experience.

I very rarely give EXCELLENT ratings but Jennifer at Gather definitely deserves them! She was responsive - sensitive to our specific needs and helped us with ideas. Our corporate event received rave reviews. It was elegant and comfortable and fun. Jennifer has such a range of experience in events that she is calm and relaxed, yet she pays attention to details. The Best Experience

Jennifer was a dream to work with. We shared with her our desire to come up with a menu and decorations for a Scottish rehearsal dinner. She is so organized and creative, and gets excited right along with you. She listens, is responsive, and is a pleasant, happy person to work with. She is also very knowledgeable about how events work and has a great staff and caterer. Really appreciated her “customers first” and “can do attitude”. The facility was clean, and everything was well appointed – bar, restrooms, drop-down screen for video, and even had a place upstairs for my husband and son to change into their Scottish kilts. Gather was the perfect for our Scottish rehearsal dinner.

Gather is amazing

We have not been lucky enough to have a wedding at Gather, but for all you brides out there looking- we cannot say enough about how amazing Gather has been to us. Hugs Café is a non-profit organization that is offered this gorgeous venue to host our semi-annual dance for our special needs community. This space is truly breathtaking and the owners have hearts of gold!!

Morales Wedding

Gather was very beautiful! LOVED every second of my perfect day here! Called around and Gather was the only place willing to work with my quick schedule! Very affordable and your not paying all these extra fees for extra stuff you don’t need/want! They were flexible and were very sweet! The owner was amazing! She even helped me decorate and was basically my maid of honor/wedding planner/ and someone I trusted very much to have my perfect day in her hands! They responded fast and didn’t pressure you with anything! The owner and her husband were SUPER helpful! My family loved them as so did I!
If I could give more than 5 stars I totally would! I recommend this place to anyone for any occasion!

Perfect Venue!!!

I had the BEST experience at Gather! It is a beautiful venue in the heart of Downtown McKinney! The staff at Gather are all professional, and provide exceptional service. The food was delicious!!!! Gather's owner, Jennifer goes out of her way ensure she knows exactly what the Couple wants for their big day and accomplishes it flawlessly! She made herself available to me anytime I had a question or needed a recommendation leading up to the wedding. She is incredibly organized and went out of her way to make me feel like the most important, beautiful Bride! I highly recommend this venue for your next event! We also used Gather for my brother's dress rehearsal several years ago, and it was wonderful as well!

Wonderful!!

I can't say enough good things about Jennifer, her team, and her venue. We chose this venue even though it was 40+ miles from our home. The town square adds a sweet touch to the occasion. I knew the day of no details would be ignored. She did an amazing job of keeping me informed throughout the day and asking questions when something needed clarification. Her bridal suite was perfect and she allowed to us to have snacks and mimosas to get us through the day. We had a smaller wedding (90 guests) and the venue was perfect! We were able to easily move throughout the space and included a large dance floor and photo booth area. Her staff was attentive and great fun! At one point, everyone in the building was dancing! I tell everyone, it really was the best day of our lives and Jennifer played a large role in that. The food! How could I forget the food! CN Catering was amazing, Jennifer did a great job of scheduling our tasting a few months before and then allowing us to adjust the menu as we saw fit. We got so many compliments on the food - we also enjoyed that she made it a priority for us (bride and groom) to spend time together and make sure we had time to eat our food. Don't think twice about reserving this venue if you have the option! You won't be disappointed!

Pure Excellence

From the beginning Jennifer at Gather was incredible, she allowed us to tour without an appointment, she sat us down and worked within our budget to get the appetizers and entrees we desired, her venue is stunning on its own which is an incredible relief that there is no desperate need to add extras. I think the best part (aside from the food which everyone raves about today still) was her clear direction at the rehearsal and the day of, there are so many moving parts the day before your wedding and the day of, we hired her as our coordinator and she always helped my husband and I to check off our list in a timely manner. Then on the rehearsal and the wedding day she was clear and direct with everything and it went so smoothly I was surprised at how on time we were, and that a lot of that weight was taken off me and put on to her and she worked it like the professional she truly is. I am so incredibly happy this was the venue I chose, it was in every way what I wanted for my wedding!

Gather is phenomenal!

Jennifer and her team at Gather are absolutely amazing! They made our wedding truly remarkable and worked effortlessly to make sure that everything went smoothly. Jennifer is very attentive, involved, and truly cares about making your dream event become a reality. The catering team was respectable and stayed on top of all our guests needs. The food was delicious, and we've had lots of guests rave about the quality of service they encountered. The venue itself has lots of personality. It's intimate and romantic, and was the perfect setting for our "Great Gatsby" inspired wedding. We would most definitely work with Jennifer again in the future. You won't regret going with Gather!

Absolutely Amazing!

Jennifer and her staff were incredible! She was with me every step to the way to make sure my wedding day was perfect. The catering staff went above and beyond my expectations. During dinner they actually walked around and asked if anyone needed more to drink and I did not expect them to do that! All in all I had a stress free wedding day which is exactly what I wanted. I did pretty minimal decorations because the venue is gorgeous so it didn’t need anything over the top. Anytime I hear someone talking about getting married I recommend them to The Gather because of how great my experience was. Wish I could relive it all over again!

Jennifer was fabulous! She was an example of calm under pressure, on site the entire wedding to ensure everything went perfectly. (She even figured out the bustle on my daughter’s wedding dress!) Her staff was equally professional and attentive to any requests from myself or the the other guests. If you are having a mid size event in McKinney, Texas, check Gather out. You won’t be disappointed.

I cannot say enough good things about our wedding at Gather in McKinney and working with Jennifer. We had looked at several other venues around the metroplex but knew upon our first visit that Gather was the place for us. Jennifer made us feel right at home. The building is a beautiful and doesn’t need a ton of decor to look amazing, though on our wedding day, Jennifer did an amazing job of setting up the personal touches we brought in. If you chose Gather, make sure to have Jennifer do your day of coordinating. She worked with my vendors starting about a month out to help take some of the stress off of my plate, and was there the entire day-of getting things ready and greeting vendors as they arrived, so all I had to do was relax and get pretty. Her responsiveness to emails and texts constantly assured me that everything would be great! The evening went off without a hitch, despite the heavy rain, because of Jennifer and her amazing staff. The food was served quickly, and the glasses were never empty! We have gotten countless compliments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was, how delicious the food from CN Catering was, and how smoothly the wedding went. We did a paired plated meal, and the food was perfect! Everyone got two meats and sides, and they were able to make special plates to accommodate for some of our guests with dietary restrictions. The appetizers were also so good (I’m looking at you, mac n’ cheese balls!!). The entire staff was friendly, professional, and made the night perfect. I am going to miss working with Jennifer because it has truly been a joy and there is no way that our day could have been as special without her and the entire staff at Gather! Thank you!

What a professional, competent, and absolutely fun group of people to have in charge of our daughter's wedding. Jennifer and team have provided us with memories that will last a lifetime. Jennifer's service was beyond great, this team pitched a perfect game last Saturday night as far as I am concerned. I cannot wait for an opportunity to do business with Gather in McKinney again. I cannot give Gather enough stars! This venue was perfect for my wedding day. From Jennifer, to CN Catering, to the staff. It was THE PERFECT day!
Jennifer is a professional, kind, servant-hearted host, and she is ALWAYS on her game. From crazy requests, to silly questions, this woman NEVER made us feel anything less than a King and Queen on our day. Her kindness and professionalism will make you want to do this all over again!
CN Catering was the BEST. I wish I could have their food every day. Our macaroni bites, our roast beef, our Chicken Nostra, the mashed potatoes, ALL perfect. We had so many people tell us they wanted to go back for seconds because it was THAT good!
The staff was friendly, efficient, and quick. They turned over the ceremony space into the dance floor, quickly, and you almost didn't even know it was happening! They served professionally, and were a fabulous addition to the day.
The details at Gather, just brought the entire day together. Everything from the wood floors, to the chandeliers, to the tin ceiling. Every detail was maintained and perfect.
I wish I could give Gather more stars, and I wish I could tell every bride to stop what they're doing and check this place out.

Me and my wife were looking all over the N. DFW area for a beautiful place for our wedding reception.
Nicely decorated with wooden floors and chandeliers lighting. The service was top notch, and matched every dollar and more. The Gather will never disappoint you from its service, hospitality and wedding/event planning.

I actually got married on New Years Eve this past year and have been meaning to write a review for this AMAZING venue! I’ve never been one to go out of my way to write a review but this venue deserves way more than word of mouth! When you get married, I can’t stess enough how important the venue is! And not only location and the difference the “backdrop” in pictures and videos, but the overall experience! I was actually in a wedding a few months after my own, and the difference in stress and flow was unbelievable. Obviously we had a great waitstaff and bartenders and all but I have to brag on our coordinator! SHE is what made our day sooo fun, easy, and I can’t say it enough STRESSFREE! Which surprisingly is rare to say in the wedding world! My mother in law, who basically put our wedding together in a month in a half, could not get over how awesome our coordinator was as well, and took the stress off her! We are so grateful to have found this venue and thankfully had an opening on New Years! Definitely a night to remember, so thankful for everyone involved!

I included some pics of our night so you can see how beautifully everything photographed even at night. And one last thing that I’ll cherish forever and that was my favorite part of the whole night. At the end of the night, my husband and I got “one last dance” the end the night. Everyone was lining up of our exit and we got “our moment” together just us two, and it was magical. Love that tradition at The Gather!

Gather is the most charming, beautiful, intimate venue you'll find in downtown McKinney! The owner is the absolute sweetest and easiest person to work with; very responsive and intentional. She makes sure you are well taken care of, not just the day of your wedding, but throughout the process! When we had a little bump on the road, she went above and beyond to handle everything to make it all go smoothly and effortlessly. She made miracles happen, I'm telling you and we are so appreciative of all the encouragement and help she gave us! Our wedding was so beautiful and she made that possible! I couldn't have asked for a better place to get married and I couldn't have asked for a better coordinator/owner to work alongside me to make our day so successful and so special!

Dinner turn out fabulous! Very accommodating and organized! The Gather Venue is classic and charming. The food was delicious! Jennifer took care of everything with efficiency and made my life much easier during a very stressful but wonderful time in my life. I highly recommend this venue!!

I can't express the words for the Gather! We had our wedding at this venue and it was AMAZING! It was exactly what we wanted! Jennifer, the owner/wedding coordinator is the BEST! First of all, she has a great personallity, very professsional, always head of the game! (Which I loved!) She made planning simple, seamless, and stress-free! My wedding day was calm and relaxing and Jennifer made everything happen just as planned! I can't thank her enough for her venue, her staff and her personal wedding coordinator services in making our day very special!!! I highly recommend the Gather! "Gather" was the perfect venue for a special wedding. Gather is an attractive, historical building in downtown McKinney, brick walls and chandeliers. The wedding ceremony was lovely in front of the candle-lit wall. Compliments were flowing regarding the delicious dinner and the cozy ambiance throughout the evening. Jennifer Klassen (owner) oversaw the entire wedding -- from walking down the aisle to exiting with guests forming an archway with ribbon streamers. Beautiful memories.

Everything looked absolutely beautiful and the staff was exceptional! They made sure everything flowed beautifully and checked on us frequently. Our guests ranted about the decor and how PERFECT the site was for our event. Having one side for dinner and one for dancing was perfect! The candle wall became a beautiful backdrop for photos with our guests!
Everyone raved about the food!!! Our vegan guests said that was THE BEST vegetarian meal they had ever had, even at a restaurant!! CN Catering knocked it out of the park! The chicken nostra lived up to its reputation and the Mac n cheese balls were devoured! Tim was so impressed watching the staff go back and forth to tables letting our guests stay seated to chat. If a guest asked for something, it was taken care of immediately! Everything was timed perfectly and my only disappointment was that it ended!
The staff was incredible at helping tear down as soon as we finished our last dance. We were out in 30 min and that’s with us stopping to saying goodbyes! Jennifer (owner) was a joy to work with and the value for your money was incomparable! I can’t wait to hold another event there!

Gather is a gorgeous, really lovely venue in a cute, quaint area. The venue is ran as a family business and Jennifer - owner, coordinator and planner is amazing. She will help you stay on track leading to the big day and that everything will run smoothly during your wedding day. She's always been on top of everything for us, helping us in more than 1 way.

The food provided at Gather is offered by CN Catering (the only catering company allowed) and it was some of the best food we've ever had.

We used Gather for our reception and Jennifer and Crystal made our wedding night so perfect, they made us (bride and groom) and all our guests feel at home all night. They were very easy to work with and very accommodating to all our needs throughout the planning process. We had so many comments on the food, it was delicious!! The bartending staff did an amazing job and kept the line and drinks flowing! We had a bridesmaid with special food needs and they were so accommodating to helping her. We also had so many compliments on how nice Crystal and Jennifer were to our guests all night. We cannot thank them enough!

Jennifer was an absolute pleasure to work with. She made sure everything was perfect for our rehearsal dinner. The staff was unbelievable and provided excellent service. We could not have asked for a better wedding experience! Everything went exactly how we wanted and planned and so much of that was thanks to Jennifer at Gather. We stumbled upon the Gather venue online and fell in love with the perfect combination of urban/rustic/elegant before we even went to see it. After meeting with Jennifer, seeing the venue in person and going through all Gather has to offer, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding and reception. As a very detailed bride, I required a little extra time with questions and going through every detail :) luckily Jennifer was there to help guide me and my husband through every step! We also loved the local McKinney vendors that Jennifer recommended, and since we trusted her and her expertise SO much, we ended up using her suggested vendors for almost all the vendors needed, including flowers, photography, videography, photo booth, cake bakery and of course used their DELICIOUS chef/menu for our full dinner menu. It was basically like getting an ALL-IN-ONE experience by choosing Gather! The day of the wedding came and was almost TOO smooth! :) The Gather team set up all our centerpieces, decor, everything and I got to relax with no detail stress while getting ready for the big day. Every detail of the day that we had planned went over without a hitch! If you go see Gather and meet Jennifer and Crystal, I don’t know you could go with any other place! Thanks ladies for TRULY helping make our big day absolutely perfect!

How do you say Thank You when the words just aren't big enough? It's not enough that Gather is such a beautiful rustic indoor setting, but Jennifer and Crystal with their big hearts and beautiful personalities made every step of our wedding And reception simply Magical. There is no other way to describe it. Disney couldn't have made it any more magical than they did. I will forever look back on my wedding day and just smile from ear to ear. From the decor to every delicious morsel of food, these ladies created "Incredible"!!!!!!

For a wedding, a reception or just Gathering for an event, Gather exudes southern Texas hospitality and Love. As if there weren't already enough Love in the room between my husband and I and our friends and family, Jennifer and Crystal and all their staff go out of their way to pour there hearts into making your event the Only event going on in that moment. That's pretty big shoes to fill and they pulled it off. I've yet to mention that our wedding took place during Octoberfest weekend. Talk about not only accommodate us and our guests but we truly felt like our wedding was the only event taking place while Octoberfest was going on all around us.

Kudos to Jennifer and Crystsl for making our wedding and reception everything we ever dreamed of. Thank You from the bottom of our hearts!!!!!

Tears fill my eyes as I think of Jennifer and Crystal at Gather. I had my wedding ceremony and reception at Gather and it. was. perfection! Everything went seamlessly and it is a huge thanks to Jennifer! Jennifer immediately made us feel like family and she was an absolute joy to work with. She went above and beyond to make everything wonderful! I didn't have to worry about a thing. I had zero stress on my wedding day. The place is absolutely beautiful and perfect for a wedding with under 100 guests. I would HIGHLY recommend Gather to anyone having a wedding with under 100 people. It has such a cozy and vintage feel. The place is gorgeous already, so few decorations are needed. We had our wedding and reception at Gather this past weekend and it was everything I ever wanted it to be. Crystal was on top of everything and I never had to stress about anything. During the entire process she was there to make everything stress free and beautiful! The food was phenomenal (We went with the beef tenderloin and chicken picata) and the space is perfect for a wedding with a 100 guests or less. I highly recommend paying for the day of coordinator package, it is worth every penny. Thank you so much Crystal! You helped make our day perfect!

I had a WONDERFUL consultation with Jennifer. I just absolutely fell in love with her. She made me feel so welcome and that she actually cares and LOVES making your wedding a success. I specifically requested (begged) her to be the coordinator on my wedding day. She was quite prepared to answer my questions that I submitted via email. I am so excited about getting married at Gather. Jennifer made me so comfortable that everything would go off without a hitch for the best day of my life. First off, Gather is absolutely gorgeous. It has a modern, rustic feel with beautiful chandeliers and exposed brick walls. We used Gather as both our wedding and reception venue. With just 50 guests, it was the perfect size (although it could accommodate twice that)! The wedding was held in front of the candle wall with the back half of the hall set up with rows of chairs. After the wedding, everyone moved to the alcove on the other side for a cocktail hour while we took pictures. During this time, the staff at Gather also cleared all of the seating from the ceremony and set up tables and a dance floor. After pictures, it was time for dinner. The food was delicious, and fast! We never felt rushed, but we also never had to wait on the next event. After dinner, dancing commenced. The small size of Gather made it feel very intimate even with only 50 guests. The warm, inviting atmosphere helped everyone get out of their seats and join us on the dance floor (the beer and wine may have helped as well). The entire evening was perfect.
The other big reason we loved Gather was because of Crystal. Crystal is the owner of Gather as well as one of the event planners. Although we asked her a ton of questions, she never got tired of them and was always happy to help. Where Crystal truly shined was on the day of the wedding. From the start, she was there helping to keep everything on track and supervising our setup. She was the perfect combination of flexible and helpful. Whenever we needed anything, she was there. Gather does offer a day-of wedding planner, which we did not opt to use. However, with Crystal we felt that we didn’t need anything else (this was an unplanned but awesome surprise). I’m not sure what else a day-of planner could have done! Crystal had it all taken care of.
One final thought, Gather is BYOB. We saved a ton of money getting all of our alcohol at Costco.

I love this place. Crystal and the staff made sure that there was no stress. I was in contact with them every step of the way. The food was so amazing people are still talking about it. The staff was friendly and interacted with the guest. I plan on going back every anniversary for Sunday brunch.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars!! I truly cannot say enough about Gather in Downtown McKinney. It was THEE perfect venue for our reception and I am SO happy we stumbled upon it one fateful day while in downtown. The minute I peered in the front windows, my heart was hooked. We are out of state, we actually live in California and weren't planning on having an out of state wedding...until we saw this place. In fact, I had meetings w/venues here in CA that I had to cancel because I knew Gather was the place. We have family in TX and all over the states so people had to travel, why not Dallas! We planned our wedding in about 5 months time so it was fast and furious but Crystal was amazing throughout the entire journey. Planning from 1500 mi away has its challenges and Crystal made it so smooth. She was available when I had questions, concerns etc. I flew in one weekend and she was available to make all plans. She even stayed in touch with a few of my other vendors. She is awesome and a joy to work with! Now, the venue itself, oh my gosh, I don't even know where to begin except, it was perfection and everything I had hoped for. SO me! Even my guests were totally WOWED by the place. I cannot tell you how many people approached me and commented and said it was amazing, so beautiful, so eclectic and classy. I could go on and on. From the brick wall to the chandeliers to the tin ceiling and beyond...this place it the bee's knees! GO and check it out. You will be so happy. The value, food and ambiance is well worth it and your wedding will be memorable.

Gather is one of the most beautiful venues I have ever seen. Its whimsical and romantic feel made us want to get married there! Due to our guest size, we didn't consider but Gather but immediately decided to hold our rehearsal there. The staff is polite and coordinator very friendly. The place is BYOB, which is another plus. Overall, a beautiful venue!

Honestly, my husband (Sam) and I could not have been HAPPIER. Such a perfect place to get married! I have a background in wedding planning and wanted to get married at a venue I had never planned a wedding for. Luckily, none of my brides had chosen this venue (honestly... I don't know how!). My husband found this venue and from the get go-- Crystal has been comforting, helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. She always has answers, always finds time for you, and makes your wedding day just amazing. Unfortunately, I can tell you that most venue owners are NOT like Crystal. I tell you that so you don't take her for granted any second of the day.

The venue alone has such style and class. I only had to decorate the tables and bring some photos in and that was all. It was so nice to have a venue that has all of these decorations already there. Our guests were just in awe over the place! 100 guests max may be hard to narrow down to if you have a big family like we do... but it is so worth it! Nothing about the venue felt crowded, there was enough room for a big dance floor, everyone had easy access to the bar. It was just great!

Not only was the venue perfect, but the location is awesome. The Grand hotel is literally a one-two minute walk away. The Grand was such an awesome hotel to work with. Very personable, recognized my name when I called a few days before and they asked if I was getting excited about the wedding... just sweet. There are also great places for rehearsal dinners. We had our rehearsal dinner at Café Malaga off of Church St. (AMAZING!!!!!!). They have a huge patio which is where we hosted a rehearsal dinner for 60 people. There are so many other great places nearby. The location of Gather is just perfect in downtown historic McKinney. Please contact me if you have any doubts/questions/concerns. Crystal and Megan are amazing!!! Crystal helped us from start to end. She is very flexible and so helpful.
Megan stayed during the reception to make sure everything run smoothly.
All my family and friends loved this venue and complimented how I found this antique + unique place! Me and my husband appreciate their hard work and we highly recommend for any wedding event.
We invited 100 guests and it fit perfect! everyone loved their food as well.

FYI, this place is already decorated with bricks, wooden floor, and antique furnitures, you will save so much money on decoration for wedding. Pretty interior with all crystal chandlers.

Gather in McKinney is phenomenal! They are not only reasonably priced, but a GORGEOUS, unique venue as well. They were always prompt returning emails and sat down with my groom & I several times to ensure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Crystal went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect & our guests raved about how beautiful the venue was & how good the food tasted. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to have our wedding!

Gather Mckinney is definitely a GEM found in downtown Mckinney. Crystal, the owner, is so wonderful to work with and took care of everything down to the smallest detail. She is definitely experienced with weddings and knows how to please her brides! She will make your wedding day exactly how you want it! All of my guests absolutely LOVED this venue and kept asking me how I found this place. It is a lovely and elegant venue, and perfect for my wedding with about 85 guests. I didn't have to worry about decor since this venue already has its own decor and charm. The food is delicious. I had a plated dinner, so there was a wait staff who were very attentive to my guests. A bartender was also provided through the venue and she was great.

If you are looking for a unique and beautiful venue, this is the place for you!

Crystal and the staff at The Gather were excellent to help plan and accommodate our rehearsal dinner. They were always willing to change when our needs changed. The food was delicious and was served promptly and graciously. The Gather is such a beautiful place that it makes decorating very easy. I would highly recommend this venue for any occasion,

My wedding was everything I'd hoped for! The food was wonderful (we had a lot of positive feedback from the guests) the atmosphere was PERFECT, the staff was great and made the whole experience very special. So pleased with my experience!

If you are searching for a gorgeous, intimate, and dreamy venue for your wedding, then I would highly recommend Gather in Downtown McKinney. Crystal and her staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable on all things wedding. Coming from a bride who did not know where to start, I knew I was in good hands as soon as I signed up with Crystal to have both my wedding and reception at Gather. Crystal and her staff were so kind to this clueless bride, and helped me every step of the way. I was worried I would need an extra hand (wedding planner) to help me out, as I am not as much of a "hands on" bride like many other brides to be are. However, Crystal walked me through every step of the way and was so completely patient and kind the entire time. If a little blip popped up, she was always there to smooth it over, and help answer my questions. Our wedding was so beautiful and all of our 85 guests were so complimentary of the venue, the staff, and the food. Overall a wonderful experience and a happy bride!

We used Gather for our Rehearsal Welcome Luncheon -- it was much bigger than a typical Rehearsal dinner as we wanted to 'welcome' all the out of town guests to Texas and this was the perfect venue!

Love the style and décor of the venue and they had all the equipment for our slide show. Also love that since it's BYOB we brought the ingredients for them to help us serve our FAMOUS Texas Iced Tea recipe which is deadly and delicious.

Gather in Downtown McKinney provided us with the wedding of our dreams and NOT just at the actual wedding! All through the process the owners, management and staff of Gather provided us with 100% of their attention and effort to answer all of our questions, address any concerns we had and help us out in any way that we needed. They made it SO easy to relax and know that there were no problems they wouldn't handle for us so we could focus on the other details related to hosting a wedding. We have told friends (and strangers!) about what a perfect venue Gather was for our wedding. All of the staff were incredible, gracious and went the extra mile to take care of all the details of the evening. We especially loved the event coordinator Shelby - she was incredible! She was organized, quick to answer all emails and phone calls and was so sweet and pleasant in every interaction. 11 out of 10 for Shelby and Gather in Downtown McKinney!!

OMG, this venue was PERFECT! Crystal runs this show and she definitely delivers! The food was amazing, the decor/atomosphere is unlike any other (especially at night), her staff was fabulous, everything was like a Fairytale dream! I couldn't have dreamt it up any better! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The gather in downtown McKinney is such an incredible venue. It has a casual and yet extremely elegant atmosphere that was perfect for our wedding reception. What we loved most is that the venue interior is so beautiful on its own that we hardly had to purchase anything in the way of decorations for our wedding. (We basically just brought some centerpieces and a few pictures). The food was equally amazing. We got so many compliments about our reception and I feel that it is all thanks to this gorgeous reception space and the wonderful service that we received from start to finish. Crystal and Shelby were friendly and professional and such a pleasure to work with. We could not have dreamed up a more perfect venue if we tried. If you are looking for a fun and unique location for a special event then look no further!

The Gather in Downtown McKinney was the venue for our rehearsal dinner. It was a wonderful evening; the food was superb, the staff outstanding, and even though we had over our original guest attendance, the staff still acommodated us with great style and grace. There are just not words to express how grateful I am to have found Crystal and her staff at Gather for our wedding day! Crystal went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect – the venue is absolutely STUNNING, and I received so many compliments from our guests on just how wonderful / beautiful everything was. The food was phenomenal, guests loved all of the décor, and Crystal was an amazing partner to work with during the entire wedding planning process.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Gather – I could not have picked a more perfect venue to host our wedding reception at. You will not be disappointed – I would highly recommend Gather (along with Crystal and her staff) to ANYONE!

Everything was lovely and the food was delicious. We had a rehearsal dinner for 54 and it could not have gone smoother. The space was large enough to accommodate the crowd and yet we had the intimacy that you want in a rehearsal dinner. The service was wonderful and the bartenders could not have been more attentive and thoughtful to our guests. We sprung a gluten free request for one of our guests the evening before the event. Crystal had the chef make a delicious substitution. We were able to save money by providing our own liquor and table decorations. We dropped these things off the day before the event and never thought of it again. The staff set everything up for us. It was beautiful when we walked in the door for our special night. We spent the evening here and never felt rushed to leave. The tiramisu is to die for! The house salad, lasagna and roasted veggies were exceptional, too. Thanks, Crystal, for making this a truly enjoyable evening.

Crystal and her staff provided the setting and the food for a gorgeous and delicious wedding rehearsal dinner. There were 50 invited guests and approximately 38 in attendance. Everyone in attendance was from out of town or from out of state. Our event could not have been more perfect! The food was delicious; service was excellent; and, thanks to decorative touches and floral arrangements from Unique Unique Designs (they work collaboratively with Gather) our event was even more wonderful than the image I carried around in my head for eight months! They executed our plans and desires perfectly. Everyone in attendance commented on the delicious food (lasagna) dessert (creme brulee) and the elegant/shabby chic setting. Crystal at Gather and Marci at Unique Unique Designs really went above and beyond the call to make our dreams for the rehearsal dinner come true. I would highly recommend Gather and the decorating talents of Unique Unique Designs for your next event.

Gather in Downtown McKinney was the most perfect of venues for our bridal shower! We have received so many compliments from our guests about their elegant decor, delicious food, and outstanding service. Crystal was a pleasure to work with during the planning of our event, and her staff were so helpful and courteous setting up the shower and seeing to each of our guest's needs. They made this such a special day for our daughter and our 32 guests!

This venue is AMAZING! Not only is it visually appealing for pictures of your event and for creating an overall ambiance but the staff is wonderful and accommodating. As part of the decor they added candles which made the setting very cozy and romantic. It was wonderful! The food was great and in perfect, easy to eat portion sizes. The staff was very attentive and I felt taken care of and relaxed the entire time. My family and I worked closely with Crystal Bryant when planning my reception at the Gather. Crystal was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it came to ideas for the reception. As a bride, planning a wedding can be very stressful, but with Crystal's help along with the great staff I felt much more at ease and confident in the success of my event. I do wish there was a pa system for toasts and things like that so the guests could hear better. I loved the idea of a projector for the slideshow we created, however it was too bright outside still and we were unable to see it very well at all. If there was some way of covering the windows to show something like that I think that would be beneficial. Overall I was very happy with my experience at the Gather and have already recommended it to all of my friends! Thank you so much for being a part of my special day :)

This was a rehearsal dinner, not a wedding. The food, service, atmosphere, staff, and planning were great! The only drawback was the audiovisual for the slide show. Poor quality and not worth the fee paid.

Wow! My wedding at The Gather was a dream come true! The Gather is family owned and is very accommodating and understanding of the needs of whomever it may concern. My wedding reception was a dream come true thanks to all of the work Crystal and the ladies at Gather put in. I had to cut my guest list back to make the small but incredible venue work, but it was SO worth it. The food was wonderful and the service was even better. All of my guests were over the moon with how beautiful and special Gather was. It was a completely unexpected surprise from the moment they walked in the door. Crystal came with all the great know-how and I just followed her lead. She made everything SO EASY so that I could enjoy my day. I would be happy to recommend Gather to anyone who is considering a smaller wedding, but still wants it to be extra special!

My wedding reception was a dream come true! The service was excellent, food was hot and delicious, the set-up provided ample room for all of my guests, the decor was impeccable, and as the bride - I didn't have to worry about a thing! Crystal (Owner & Creative Director) pays strong attention to detail and will make your vision come to fruition. Marcie (owner, designer of Unique, Unique) next door provided design services. She utilized vintage pieces along with her natural stroke of creativity to design an exceptional and impressive space. My family and friends were amazed with Gather and almost one month later we are still receiving cards and phone calls with the highest compliments about our wedding reception. They are person-centered, pleasant to work with, and genuinely want to make you happy. I did not leave Gather as a client, but departed as a friend. I would highly recommend Gather to any bride who is seeking a unique, beautiful, and eclectic venue. Crystal and her team of professionals are top notch and the best in the industry!!!

I would not hesitate to recommend Gather to anyone! They bent over backwards on very short notice to make our event a success.

The food was wonderful...everyone raved about the bacon wrapped chicken and jalapeño bites!

Thanks to Crystal, Jennifer and the rest of the staff the party was beautiful.

We didn't have our ceremony at the Gather, but we had our wedding reception there and couldn't recommend a better place in the McKinney area (also great for in type of shower, bridal, baby, etc)! The service, food, and environment were exceptional to the cost! My husband and I were so pleased with everything, as were our guest. The ladies that run the Gather went above and beyond our expectation... again, very pleased with our experience!

Gather Downtown is a wonderful intimate venue for nontraditional hotel ballroom events. We hosted 60 family and friends for an afternoon lunch complete which came with a delicious menu, fabulous cake (for a team who traditionally doesn't do cakes), dance floor, DJ and TABC bartender. The staff was great to work with and very helpful with suggestions on menu, table layout and timing of activities. They are experienced wedding reception professionals there to accomodate your dreams and wishes while ensuring every detail is picture perfect.

I am an event planner and I was helping a dear friend plan a post wedding party for her son and his lovely new wife. I had always admired Gather in downtown Mckinney becasue of its electic decor and charming space. I just knew this would be the perfect spot to have the event. We worked with Kristin, the venue's event planner and she went out of her way to perfect all the details and to assist in creating everything we had envisioned. What a delight it was working with her and the rest of the Gather team. The catering also was exceptional and because Gather does not provide alcohol, it makes for an exceptional value, bringing in our own supply. I highly recommend this restaurant/venue to anyone who is looking for a different and beautiful space to hold their next event!!!!

Had our bridal shower here and it was the best ever! The venue is absolutely beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. The food is great and the presentation lovely. The staff is outstanding and took care of every detail, down to handing the bride each gift to open and removing the discarded wrapping. They even offered to take photos for us! Our reception is too large for this venue or I would definitely use it!

Gather is THE reason I had my dream wedding! Kristen is such a sweetheart and really great to work with! Everything was taken care of and beautiful! The food was so yummy and everyone is still talking about how impressive this place is! It is small so if you are having a large wedding and cant fit in this spot use them for your rehearsal for bridal showers! I loved it so much I actually cut back my guest list to make it work. Go have lunch or tea and check this place out! I dont event think I can put into words how much I love Gather!
