My husband and I eloped to Cannon Beach Oregon on 7/7/17 and Gary was our fabulous photographer! I had seen Gary's photos on Facebook over the years and when I knew I was going to have my wedding ceremony on the water I knew Gary was our guy. Gary has an eye for detail and really knows how to make your photos look as special as your special day is. I would absolutely use Gary again in a heartbeat! -

Gary is incredibly amazing! We wanted fun and playful. He exceeded our expectations! He did his research and was fully prepared for our under water trash the dress session! I will recommend him for any photos, any time! I've always loved his work, especially with my sister over the last 10 years. Now he's done our wedding and engagement and we're over the moon with his work!!! -

Gary is such a great photographer to work with. He shows up on time and is with you as long as you need him on the wedding day. He is super fun and outgoing and helps those wedding nerves go away by getting you relax and excited for your big day! -

Very professional, over 20 years experience shooting weddings, affordable, fantastic quality, easy-going gentleman who is very friendly and personable! I have nothing but positive things to say about him, and the images are absolutely breathtaking :-) he has a very skilled photographer's eye and can work with any background or environment to create amazing photographs, as well as being able to capture candid or sweet moments. I highly recommend him, and I do not have a single regret about my choice of having him be in charge of my wedding photography! -

Gary Peterson was amazing to work with. Before the wedding he was always easy to get ahold of and great at responding to any questions we had. The day of the wedding he showed up bright and early, and traveled to several different locations with us. He was there from start to finish capturing each step of our big day. He has a great personality and we would recommend him to anyone looking for a awesome, and fun photographer. Gary you are the best! -

Gary Peterson has been doing my wedding photos since highschool. We were so incredibly blessed to have him shoot our wedding in Cannon Beach on the Oregon coast. We had a very large bridal party and Gary was amazing at coordinating everyone to get the amazing pictures we were hoping for and being flexible with our unpredicted wedding hiccups. Cannot wait to see the rest of them!?? -

Couldn't imagine a wedding photographer doing a better job. Gary was so flexible with us (we ran really late) and so personable with us that it seemed like he was part of the family.

Gary did so awesome for our wedding, I couldn't imagine having anyone else! After he did our maternity pictures we decided to use him for our destination wedding. He has so many awesome ideas to make your pictures perfect and everything you want. He interacted with everyone at the wedding and everyone loved him! Thanks for being the best! -

There aren't enough stars to give to Gary Peterson! He truly is the best and will make sure your wedding day is a success. He went above and beyond even calling different vendors for me to help make things run smoothly. Even when we were behind schedule by an hour (sorry Gary!) he made sure we didn't stress and still got everything we wanted done. I truly think he is the main reason our whole wedding went so flawlessly. If you want an amazing day, don't hesitate and book with Gary!! -

Gary was the perfect wedding photographer. He did our photos starting with the hair and makeup process all the way thru the end of the reception. We had some delays with floral which prevented us from starting our "on-site photos" until an hour and a half late. I had no idea what to do and how his would affect the entire timeline of our day but Gary came up with a quick solution and shared his ideas with our wedding coordinator, who rearranged our timeline only slightly, to make it all work! I couldn't ask for more! Not to mention his photos are stunning, and he has a way of making everyone feel comfortable and confident the entire time! -

Gary was wonderful to work with. He did our engagement pictures as a part of the package to get more comfortable together. When the engagement photos turned out unbelievably beautiful I knew we were in good hands for the wedding photos and had nothing to worry about. On our wedding day the town was filled with smoke from forest fires and our images still turned out BEAUTIFUL. Lighting and air quality did not help anything. Gary was so responsive and quick to get back to us. His sense of humor and down-to-earth personality made him a great fit for us. -

Gary is awesome! He is an excellent photographer but so humble about it. He's very easy going and creative. He helped us incorporate swords into our photos. I can't wait to see them. I will definitely use him for my next special event. I will be recommending him to my engaged friends. He's excellent at keeping things on schedule too. He stays up from the beginning to the end of the day. I feel that we more than got a great deal on him. There is definitely a reason he is booked a year in advance. -

Gary is an amazing photographer to work with! We had a timeline planned out to take photos before the wedding, but hair and makeup went an hour over and we had to change plans. He knows the areas very well and was able to adapt and overcome quickly to make a new plan for pictures. He never once got mad, just rolled with the punches and made me feel very at ease! His skills are amazing and he can capture great photos no matter where they are taken and can make them look amazing! We are so very pleased with our experience with Gary and I will recommend him to anyone and everyone! -

Gary was with my bridal party from the beginning of the day while we were getting ready until the very end of the night when we were saying goodbye. I was stressing out and we had a ton of family that wanted individual pictures and he kept me calm and got all of our pictures done earlier than we had scheduled! We were able to keep the entire night going as planned without missing anything. Gary is such a nice guy and got to know a lot of my guests and he made it seem really natural when he took pictures. He is so fun and laid back and I couldn't imagine a better photographer for the best day of my life! -

Gary was everything we desired in a photographer! He was able to make such a special day in our lives, much more special. Gary was incredibly professional but very down to earth and that ability is rare these days with such an important part of your wedding. Gary Peterson provided exceptional service. He is fun, engaging, and calming to have around as family and friends were preparing for the wedding ceremony. Gary Peterson was awesome, I would not have gone with anyone else. He was so flexible during the entire process. I asked him if we could do engagement pictures and he filled me in on a Saturday. Before the wedding, he showed up at the salon where I got my hair done. At the wedding venue, he was so patient with all the chaos. During pictures, my family is super crazy and would not do what Gary was asking and he just played it off like a joke. He's such a great person! So funny and makes your day enjoyable! I will always recommend Gary to everyone! Thanks Gary! -

We are incredibly thankful that we choose Gary Peterson Photography to capture our big day! He was at the event center before the bride, and ready to go! did i happen to mention that our wedding was from 6pm to 11pm and he was at the event center at 10am... that is the kind of dedication he has towards his ART! and art is exactly what the results were! the photos along with Gary's professional ways speak for themselves. Gary was absolutely amazing. Not only did he help me plan out our very important day with when we needed to schedule specific important events, he helped orchestrate it all when he arrived. Gary was early and excited to shoot. Unfortunately our outside winter wedding turned into the year's first major blizzard. Although Gary got some great shots inside the venue he graciously offered to do another shoot with my husband and I outside at a later time when the weather was more permitting for no extra cost. The day had a lot of crazy twists and turns, but throughout it al, I have to say Gary was an incredible help and a calm in the storm. I love all my photos so far, we can't wait to see the rest and take advantage of another shoot hopefully soon! -

Gary was fantastic to work with for our pictures! He did both our engagement shoot and our wedding. He has such a great personality and sense of humor, which played off our personalities beautifully. He helped make my husband and myself feel at ease during our engagement shoot and kept me laughing during my wedding day! He is very professional and captures every moment without you even knowing he is there. I had so many people compliment me on his great attitude and that he stayed for the ENTIRE wedding day from 7:30am until 9:00pm. I can never thank him enough! :) -

Gary was great to work with!! Very laid back and flexible with what I wanted. He had ideas for pictures and was willing to do all the poses I had come up with as well. From the first meeting with Gary, I knew we chose the right photographer. I have to admit the initial appeal was his very reasonable price! I am a slight micro-manager and I wanted a say in every little detail of our wedding! After getting to know Gary, though, and his true passion for photography; I knew he would capture amazing pictures that I would not have thought of. A perfect example is our engagement pictures; we wanted to incorporate flowing water and the Harley in our pictures but once Gary saw our retro theme he suggested another sight that would work well. Those pictures turned out to be our favorites and we even had one of them blown up into a canvas picture. On the day of the wedding, Gary was at the venue before I even showed up! He interacted with my friends, family, and hair dresser so amazingly! He could have just treated it like a job but he genuinely enjoys his profession. He stayed with us until the reception was over (meaning he was there for 12 hours) and took many, many candids (which I favor more than posed shots). Gary is so easy and fun to work with but his finished work is what I enjoy the most; they're not just pictures, he makes them look like works of art! I would definitely like to work with Gary in the future and I would always recommend him to anyone looking for the best wedding (or any event) photographer! -

Gary is a very talented and creative artist. The photos he took at my daughter's July wedding were fabulous. He was easy to work with and very professional. His sense of humor was an added bonus, too, and he put the wedding party at ease. We received the digital copy of the photos shortly after the wedding and are now in the process of creating our own wedding album and wall portraits. Few photographers are willing to give you this kind of service. I highly recommend Gary. You won't be disappointed. -

Gary is very creative and tells us exact poses he has in mind and all the pictures turn out beautifully. He is so fun to work around! I'm not sure that this review will do Gary Peterson's work justice....you only have to look at the photos he takes to see what an artist he is. I've worked with Gary in the past on fashion and figure shoots, and his creative vision and love for photography are evident in every photo he takes.
If you're considering Gary Peterson Photography for your wedding, or any other occasion, take a look at some of his work and you'll see that you're in great hands. One of the details on your wedding day you don't want to overlook is to have someone who can capture the emotions and memories for the most important day of your life. Gary is definitely that someone. :)

Gary ROCKS! He's so fun to be around and he has wonderful ideas for great pictures. I just got mine back and they are so perfect I got teary-eyed.
I will use Gary again and my brother said the same thing! Anniversary pics, engagement, wedding, action, modeling... He does it all...AND he's willing to travel! -

He was a great photographer listened very well, showed up really early and stayed very late, we were packing up! He is very funny and made it a great day. He is very responsibly priced and does a fantastic job! -

Gary was excellent!!! Extremely professional and really great to work with. Gary knows how important pictures are for that very special day and knows how to capture every special moment. He knows how to run the show so that way the bride and groom do have to worry about anything but instead enjoyed the day with their friends and family!

Gary was so helpful and fun to work with. He allowed us to get what we wanted with our picture package. Our pictures came out so beautiful. He shot a storyline into our wedding day. We have such good memories that will last forever! -

Great photography, he was professional but yet made you feel so comfortable, I dont like my photo taken but he made it seem to easy. Very flexible and great value for what you get. -
