Garter and Whiskey was the first wedding vendor we hired back in 2018. I saw their work and knew I had to have them capture our big day! Our wedding date was set for April 4th 2020 but due to covid we had to postpone. We decided on a 2021 date but when my husbands impending deployment got pushed back, making him unable to attend our new date, we decided to cancel the big wedding all together and do something with just the two of us. Zach was incredibly compassionate, helpful, and understanding during this time and I think that speaks volumes to his character and his business because I cant say the same for all our other original vendors. Zach is fun,confident,and extremely easy going which made my husband and myself feel completely at ease the day of. We got our photos back in record time and let me tell you.....they are perfect! Booking Garter and Whiskey is hands down the best decision I made in planning my wedding and I would highly, HIGHLY, recommend doing yourself a favor and hiring them. You will not regret it! -

Where do I even start with how amazing Garter and Whiskey is!?! Zach is not only incredibly talented but he is so kind and patient with his time and photography! We had a blast with Zach at our engagement session and both weddings we had! We've had so many people compliment our photos and say they are magazine worthy! Zach is the absolute best decision you can make for your wedding!! -

I was lucky enough to meet Zach when he was the photographer at my sisters wedding and knew that when it was my turn, I was calling him! He truly feels like a member of our family! My husband was extremely thankful that he was so easy to get along with and laid-back. He's very talent and I'm obsessed with all our wedding pictures! He's the best and I highly suggest everyone hire him!!!!! -

Zach and Kat were so wonderful to work with! At both our engagement shoot and on our wedding day, Zach made me and everyone else feel comfortable and at ease. On top of that their work is phenomenal! Zach is also very prompt with communication, very flexible and has a quick turnaround to receive pictures. I HIGHLY recommend using Garter and Whiskey as your photographer!! -

Abigail Sent on 10/04/2018Zach was the one and only photographer we met with! From the start it was like talking to a friend you've known for years- no awkwardness, or forced conversation. He is down for anything and just wants to make his couples happy. We had a blast during our engagement shoot and were bummed we had to wait 7 more months to take more pictures. The wedding no was no exception. He was there with me all day and got the best candid photos of me and my groups (which was my top request). He became "one of the girls" and just hung out with us. His wife, Cat, was just the same. She took over the guys pictures, which is no easy task, and they loved her as well! During the ceremony and reception they were very discreet but could be found at any moment, if needed. I received our photos super quickly and was SO impressed with how perfect they captured our love and celebration.

Laura Sent on 10/27/2017I had been following Cat and Zach for years because of their excellence in athlete photography, When they branched into weddings as Garter & Whiskey when my husband and I were first dating, I knew we were destined to have them photograph our wedding. From our first meeting he immediately put my now husband at ease. My husband is an extreme introvert and getting pictures done was a source of anxiety for him, however Zach immediately put him at ease. Our Engagement pictures were so easy and turned out phenomenally well for being taken in June in Georgia.
On our Wedding day Zach and his second made it so easy to relax and enjoy the moment. They were unobtrusive and documented the whole day beautifully. He even knocked out family photos with 140 family members in 20 minutes (I was amazed)! As someone who works in the design field myself, I know I couldn’t have hired a better photographer to document the most amazing day of my life, these photos will hang in my home forever. The icing on top of the amazing pictures, was that we received them back in 10 days!

He produces great work and you really feel like he is your best friend throughout the entire process. Love his style and that he will take into account your style as well. Allie Sent on 05/14/2016Booking Garter and Whiskey as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I made in planning my wedding. Cat and Zach were easily one of my favorite vendors. They went above and beyond when it came to our wedding. They made us feel really special. They traveled to our venue (an hour and a half away) to take engagement photos. Zach always responded to emails quickly. They are so dependable! Another reason I enjoyed having them as our wedding photographer was their personalities. You are hanging out with these people all day. They are really cool, easy going, and fun to be around. My wedding party was obsessed with them. Do yourself a favor and book them for your wedding. You will be so happy you did! -

After crying after receiving our engagement shots, our fabulous wedding coordinator put up in touch with Zach. With a killer portfolio, a great work ethic, quick responses to our emails, and some faith we left our wedding photos and video up to Zach and Cat without scheduling a 2nd engagement shoot. I think during the day of our wedding I got a sneak peek of 3 photos...each one better than the last. The turnaround time was way faster than I expected and every single picture was amazing!
I was SO happy that our coordinator swooped into the rescue and gave us Cat and Zach. They are a dynamic duo husband+wife team and will make your day extremely memorable. I highly recommend them to ANYONE! -

Garter and Whiskey are fully engaged from the moment they arrive at the wedding. They are prepared, ready and on point the whole time. Zach made every effort at capturing each and every person in a meaningful way. The bride and groom's pictures are simply stunning - every single one of them. It was an intimate wedding due to COVID. The photography is just as grand as you would imagine from a large wedding, except in this setting this was even more special. We can't be happier with Zach and his team - the BEST. -

Lauren Sent on 03/17/2015Cat and Zach were recommended to me by several friends for photography and when we spoke they mentioned they also did videography.
They traveled down to our destination wedding in Florida and did amazing work! Zach has a drone to get incredible ariel footage of the site. I was nervous having a videographer might deter people from dancing but they made sure they were not intrusive and actually probably had more people dancing TO the camera. I highly recommend them!
