Becca was incredible! We decided to hire her for our engagement photos to get to know her a bit better before the wedding. From day 1, she was prepared with a location she knew well and plenty of different options to make us feel as comfortable as possible. Leading up to the wedding, Becca was great with planning and answering questions. She even recommended our videographer who was fantastic! When it came to the wedding, Becca was at the venue taking some detail shots before I was even fully ready. It really felt like she was a photographer and coordinator all in one. Becca was also fantastic working with my husband who is not accustomed to being in front of the camera. She was so easy going, professional, but also kept the wedding party laughing and smiling for all our pictures. One thing I really appreciated was the moment when she pulled us aside to get some sunset photos right before we entered the reception. We would have completely missed the beautiful sunset if it wasn’t for her attention to detail! I can’t recommend Becca enough! She’s a gem!

Dream Wedding Photographer!

Becca & Mike were wonderful to work with! We used Garone Photography for both our engagement and wedding photos & were not disappointed. They made us feel like we were their only clients, and never once pushed us out of our comfort zone. They are both easy-going, and pour so much love and dedication into the work that they do. I never once worried about my wedding pictures as I knew Becca would do everything and anything to make sure they were perfect.

Great Experience, Greater Photos

TL;DR - Overall it was a fantastic experience. Becca and Mike were the perfect mix of professional and fun, relaxed but focused. Day felt very fluid and it wasn't exhausting because it wasn't arrange and smile, arrange and smile; there was real laughter and fun. Sneak peeks came quick! And the full album was both enormous and gorgeous. Very LGBTQ+ friendly; ours was a polyamorous wedding. Cannot recommend them enough.

Working with Becca and Mike was a fantastic experience, everything we wanted and more. Becca and Mike were both very easy to work with; they quickly felt more like friends than strictly photographers and it made photos so much more fun. Becca has a way of coaxing real laughter and smiles out of people by playing them off each other, like "tell him something that will make him blush," and the genuine reactions she captures in those moments are priceless. No fake smiles with her.

They worked really well with the space given for each part of the day, finding great spots for photos outside, finding spots to be during the ceremony without blocking any views, blending into the crowd at the reception--I don't even remember seeing them at the reception. And the angles for all the photos came out great.

The day went so smoothly; schedule was followed, we never ran over time. They arrived right on time and ready to work, slipped right into the day. We actually finished family photos in half the time we allotted and ended up attending our own cocktail hour. The whole thing felt fluid; it wasn't exhausting because you didn't feel like you'd been posing for hours. They kept everything moving from group to group; they followed the notes I gave them and captured all the groups we asked for.

Overall, this is the best experience I've ever had with wedding photography, and I'm so glad it was our wedding! The final photographs are shockingly gorgeous and the gallery is enormous. We could not have asked for anything more. Quite literally, my only regret is not hiring them for an extra two hours to capture the end of the night.

I highly recommend Garone Photography. Photography is part of the wedding experience, and Becca made it fun, fluid, and delivered beautiful photographs. I would hire her again in a heartbeat.

Memorable wedding!

We worked with Becca on our wedding day. We had a small group of friends and family and she captured everything perfectly. I am not one that likes getting her picture taken but she guided me and talked me through everything and I just was able to enjoy being married and not worry about the camera :)

WOW!! What an AMAZING team to work with!! Rebecca and Mike were so awesome! They were super easy to communicate with prior to the wedding and a DREAM to work with on the day of. I would tell anyone to work with them. Super professional and easy going but kept the day moving without being pushy (I have seen this in other photographers !) My cousin used Mike and Becca for her wedding years ago and after seeing her pictures I always dreamed of having them capture my wedding someday, and they did! They are AMAZING!! I would HIGHLY recommend them to every couple getting married! They are so FUN to work with and our pictures are absolutely incredible!! We were working on a budget for the wedding, but the one area in which I refused to compromise was the photography. I wanted to make sure that we got the best, and after my time with Rebecca and Mike, I know that we did! Garone Photography is simply outstanding in every way - responsive, creative, empathetic, fun, and talented. They were one of the more expensive photographers we spoke with, but they are worth every penny and more. We still have to receive the full set of photos, but the preview pictures are stunning and I can't wait to see the rest! I would hire Garone again in heartbeat!

Can't say enough great things about Rebecca and Mike of Garone Photography. There work is incredible and they always made us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout the day. They were on time the day of our wedding and ended up helping us with little things beyond the photos. They're experience and guidance definitely made the day go smoothly. They were really fun to work with and yet always professional and never intrusive; everything we wanted from our photographer. Rebecca and her husband Mike were so much fun to work with! I had never been photographed professionally and I was nervous about how I was going to look on film (or what to do with my hands, or when to smile or not). Rebecca made me feel instantly comfortable, she gave great direction and encouraged everybody to be themselves and make each other laugh. The pictures Rebecca and Mike produced are incredible! Not only do I love them, all of my family, friends, and even friends-of-friends commented on how incredible some of the shots were. Now my husband and I have them to look at everyday, for years to come. The Garones are so easy and fun to work with that you will want them to stay for your whole party. Their pictures are so amazing that they almost look like they can't be real, but I assure you they are! Absolutely Amazing!! I can't not say enough wonderful things about Rebecca and Mike to encompass how wonderful they were! They were helpful from the very beginning of the planning process all the way through the wedding day. They helped us set up timing and a schedule for the wedding day and help us come up with a Rain Plan when we realized it might hurricane the day of the wedding! They never seemed annoyed at the crazy amount of email I sent filled with questions about timing, dates, weather, and pricing and replied immediately. The day of the wedding they were flexible and rolled with the punches. We were running late, but when we got there they moved everything along smoothly so we got back on track without rushing through any of those beautiful First Look moments. During the shoots they were friendly and fun making all the photos in a chilly air no problem at all. They work together so naturally, knowing what the other is thinking without having to say it which leads to absolutely amazing photos. They made my husband and I feel so comfortable during the shoots. They also went along with our crazy, outgoing wedding party and turned it into some wonderful and funny photos! During the reception they graciously stayed an extra hour and were so flexible when we decided to add some formal portraits of family and friends. They were always around to capture some amazing moments on the dance floor, by the photo booth, and at the tables yet didn't seem like they were intruding at all. I can not recommend them enough! I don't know how we would have gotten through the day so smoothly if not for them! Thank you so much Rebecca and Mike!

Rebecca and Mike are AMAZING. Not only did they travel to New York to photograph our wedding, but they captured every moment and feeling in the most perfect way. We loved working with Garone Photography, Rebecca and Mike were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. They were extremely attentive to detail in every shot they took and were by far our best vendor. Many of our guests commented on how courteous and professional both Rebecca and Mike were and they even took some time out of their day to show one of our 10 year old guests how to use the settings on his camera to take better photos, which was an incredibly nice gesture! We can't say enough about the photos themselves, they captured every moment and then some! The photos came out amazing, we really could not have asked for better. I would recommend Garone Photography to anyone and we will be using them again for all of our important events!

Garone Photography came highly recommended for my wedding. I also had engagement photos done with them. I don't know where to start really, but I will say that they are the best you can get. They have all of the best qualities that you could find in a photographer...communicate very well, polite, extremely talented, find a way to be everywhere in a split second and capture all the greatest photos, etc.etc. Overall I was very impressed as well as everyone that was in attendance at the wedding. There were no "obnoxious photographers" and to be honest, I didn't even notice when they were snapping pictures which made it all the more real! Then came the time to get the photos back. They were delivered within the time frame that was promised and I couldn't believe my eyes! I am so glad that my husband and I made the decision to go with Garone. They are worth every penny and now we have the most amazing pictures that will last a lifetime.

We met Becca and Mike in July 2011 when they shot my sisters wedding at Mount Washington in New Hampshire. Their work was so impressive we decided to use them two years later for our wedding. They did not disappoint. We LOVE our pictures! Also Becca and Mike were so great to be around the whole day. They were so calming and reassuring through out the whole event. They also get bonus points because it was 100 degrees out that day and you can't see anyone sweating in the pictures! I would highly recommend Garone Photography.

Garone Photography went above and beyond for us every step of the way, from the first meeting, throughout the planning process, and especially on the big day. We can't say enough great things about this vendor. They understood exactly what we wanted, and helped us with wonderful and creative suggestions for our photos.Every time we found ourselves (or our guests) in a spot thinking "this would make a great photo", BAM! there they were. Garone was able to capture every moment, and move seamlessly through our event. We got everything we wanted and more our of our photos. Not one shot was missed! An important thing to remember when it comes to choosing a photographer, is that you should be comfortable working with them. We had a blast working with Garone! They made us feel comfortable and relaxed the whole day, and kept us laughing too. They even helped with other things (pinning boutonnieres, adjusting the dress, etc). Working with the Garones felt like spending time with close friends. Garone is the only photographer we will ever recommend!

We could not have been more happy. Rebecca and Mike were absolutely perfect for our wedding day, and every step in the process before and after. They are professional, organized, responsive, amazingly nice, so much fun and, most important to note for any bride, they take such quality photographs. We loved working with them and felt like movie stars when they were photographing us. The photographs are amazing so now our only trouble is picking our favorites! We may just have to print a few hundred for our home! I will refer Rebecca and Mike to all of our friends and family for upcoming weddings, babies and anything else that is deserving of a long lasting photographic memory. Rebecca Garone is by far the most amazing photographer! She was so easy to get ahold of leading up to and after the wedding. She doesn't come cheap... but she is WELL worth the price that she charges. If you want photos that you'll be drooling over for a lifetime, I HIGHLY recommend her. I just had my "viewing party" for my photos two weeks ago and I am completely shocked at the quality. Every other photo that came up nearly brought me to tears, I couldn't help but smile the entire time. She gives a CD with all the digital copies as well as a folder filled with "facebook" photos. They are all edited with her watermark (so she gets credit) and sized to upload easily. My photos have been posted on my facebook for two weeks now and I still get dozens of comments on them daily saying how breathtaking they are. Another perk of highering Rebecca... her husband comes as a second photographer for free! There were dozens of photos that I had a second perspective of because he walks around taking photos as well. They work great as a team and you almost never realize they are there. They never get in the way... they are like photography ninjas! I assure you... you will not regret highering Garone Photography!

From the second we saw Rebecca Garone's website, we knew we had to meet with her! We met with 4 photographers and we ended up comparing them all to Garone Photography. Hands down the best choice ever!!! Our engagement session was a great way to get comfortable with the camera and our photographer. I met several photographers at an Expo but the one that stood out the most was Mike Garone from Garone Photography. When I talked with him I loved how he said that they may shoot the same venues throughout the year but that they always try to select different areas for each bride to make their experience and photo’s unique to them. I loved their style of photography. They were a little out of my price range, but I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for and they were so worth the price! My husband and I decided to get married at 3pm on 9-24-11 at the MGM in CT. Jason and I had fun with the engagement shoot and we were excited to get the pictures back.

We got our engagement pictures in a few short weeks and LOVED them!! We knew that we had made the right choice for our wedding. We decided to do the Guest Sign in book and used our engagement pictures for it. We had so many compliments at the wedding about the Photo Guest book!! People loved the idea that they could write something personal to us.

On the day of the wedding we had our pictures done before the ceremony. Jason and I decided to have “us” time before the craziness of the day began, so we took a limo with Mike and Rebecca to the Harkness Park in CT. They both made us feel so comfortable and we felt like we had known them for years. Rebecca even found an old tree in the park that had Always Love carve in it and said we have to get a picture with you guys with the tree…. That is one of our favorite pictures.

Once we got back to the MGM we started the wedding party pictures and Mike and Rebecca were very organized and quick with the photos. They helped me out so much throughout the day, Jay and I both feel that they went above and beyond. They even suggested jumping into the pool at the end of the reception. The end of the night I was so hot from wearing my gown and dancing that I decided to do it. They went and contacted the hotel management to unlock the pool area and turn on the lights for us so that the whole wedding party could jump in the pool. Rebecca was shoulders deep in the pool water with all her clothes on so she could capture the moment, it was AWESOME! We had so much fun!! There were people in our wedding party that were not going to jump in and were not overly excited but afterwards they said that they were so glad that they did jump in and it was a blast. We had so many people come up to us at throughout the wedding praising Rebecca and Mike for the amazing job that they did. I actually still have people comment how awesome they were and it has been over 3 months after the wedding. People could not believe that they got into the pool water to take pictures of us jumping in. We are so thankful that we could share our day with them!!

We received our call about 3 weeks after the wedding that the photos were ready and I was so could not wait to see them...My husband and I went to their studio where we did the viewing and we so impressed with how perfect they captured our day. They made me look like a model. In the viewing the photos are on a DVD slide show to music. We decided to buy that and we have watched it about 15 times in the last 2 months. I had some people comment that they thought the photo's could be in a wedding magazine.

A close friend was looking for a photographer for her wedding in September and said Garone was a preferred vendor...I told her USE THEM!!!! You will love working with them and love their work. They signed up with them and just received their engagement photo's and it is no surprise to me that they came out absolutely beautiful.

Rebecca and her husband did my wedding on 08/14/2010. They were recommended to me by my videographer and when I saw their website I was sure that they were the company for me. Rebecca met me in person prior to the wedding and discussed all the details and how the flow of the day might go. She was very responsive to any questions I had. The day of our wedding came and they showed up on time and we felt so comfortable being ourselves around the two of them. During the reception we barely knew they were there while they caught the truely precious moments of our day that we did not get to see. Our pics were available to view as soon as we returned from our honeymoon! I recommend Garone Photography 100%!

Rebecca and Mike were absolutely AMAZING! They were totally flexible and very understanding of the needs of a busy bride! I have received nothing but compliments (and requests for contact information) for my professional photographs. I live in CT and looked at several photographers in the area. Their prices were at least $2,000 to $3,000 higher than the Garone's, and did not include many of the products and services I received from Garone photography. I also couldn't help but compare many of them to used-car salesmen. ("If you book today, we'll give you 10% off your final album! But I can't hold this deal past today!") When limited by space at our reception hall, Rebecca was quick on her feet and creative in order to get the most variety in our photographs, including utilizing the rock wall at a service entrance! You will NOT regret booking the Garones they were amazing!

Amazing..amazing..amazing. This is the best way to describe the work and professionalism of Garone Photography. I only met with one other photographer before choosing Garone and knew I found the right choice. It's been two months since our wedding and we already have our proof book, CD and album on the way. We hired David Lane, who is a photographer working for the Garones (the Garones themselves were already booked for our day). He was amazing! At a very reasonable price, he worked with two other photographers on our wedding day. He honored all of our requests for our Catholic ceremony, and took fantastic candids during the reception. He was very flexible and detail oriented during our initial meetings. We have received so many compliments on our incredible pictures already. My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with the pictures and we would without a doubt recommend David Lane's services!

Rebecca and Mike were terrific. The amazing eye for detail and some of the beautifully creative shots were amazing. They were able to capture many of the the special moments that truly captured the emotions of the day...and the best part it, they did so without me really knowing they were there. As a bride, it was important to me that my photographers captured the emotions and fun of the day without being invasive and Mike and Rebecca pulled that off flawlessly. Another think I loved about the two of them is that they were terrific with children. I have a lot of young ones in my family and they were adorable and patient with each and every one of them. Before I even got engaged I knew I wanted to use Garone for my wedding photos. Rebecca and Mike had photographed the wedding for a friend of mine a few years back, and being in the wedding I could see how well they worked. They make all the group photos seem fun and have some great, original ideas based on your wedding or reception location. Then the photos came out great! They were great to work with, and even used skype to discuss with us when we were unable to meet in person. We are very happy with our wedding photos!

Becca and Mike shot our wedding on Aug. 23, 2015 and they were PHENOMENAL! Months later, my husband and I still keep talking about how of all the vendors we hired, they were the absolute best. When we met Becca over Skype last year (we planned our Maine wedding from New York), we liked her immediately. I had seen their work when our venue posted some of their photos on Facebook, and I was drawn to their almost journalistic style of photography. Those first photos I saw were taken on a very rainy day, and I thought if these are this stunning, imagine what they pull off on a beautiful day! If you're looking to really capture the moments of your wedding day (rather than just a lot of portraits, but of course they'll do those too), hire the Garones!

Becca was so easy to work with during the planning process. For example, she was happy to send me links to three full weddings they'd shot, before we even hired them. She was pretty easy to get in touch with by both email and phone, and during one of our phone meetings about a month before the wedding day, she spent over an hour of her time with us just chit-chatting. It was obvious she made an effort to get to know us. On the wedding day, they could not have been a better team! They are truly great together. It felt like they were running the day almost as much as our planner, since we were with them for so much of it, and they made everything go so smoothly. They were so sweet and fun, and such a calming influence during some of the intense/emotional parts of the day. Becca even bustled my dress :)

My husband and I were blown away by the fact that she texted us about 10 photos the morning after the wedding. What an amazing surprise! And we didn't have to wait long at all to see our online gallery and receive our flash drive with photos in the mail. On top of it all, our photos are so amazing I can hardly believe they're of us :) These two are truly the best in the business!

I got engaged in September 2011 and booked a facility that month. The second thing I did was book my photographer. I didn’t shop around because I knew I really liked Rebecca Garone’s photos. When I called she was already booked but she offered Dave Lane and recommended his services. I couldn’t have been happier with him and Bruce. They took amazing photos of my wedding. They started at 10am and were supposed to leave at 7pm but they had so much fun then stayed until 10pm. We got our pictures back within 3 weeks. I love all of them.

I honestly cannot say enough about Garone Photography and Rebecca and Mike! They were so amazing to work with and truly made taking pictures one of the most memorable, special, and fun parts of our wedding day! To start, Rebecca and Mike are just really nice, down-to-earth people who instantly make you feel comfortable and allow you to just enjoy your wedding day. It's kind of like you're just hanging out with a couple friends! Rebecca and her husband photographed my wedding and worked extremely well with one another. They were very organized and in sync making it very easy to capture lots of photos of the wedding party as well as of myself with my husband. Rebecca Garone was everything we had hoped for in a photographer. My wife does some wedding photography on the side, and of all of the aspects of planning our wedding, the pictures were the part she was most concerned about getting right. We were fortunate enough to see Rebecca and her husband work at another wedding a year ago, and we were very impressed with her work. The pictures came out really well. Colors and lighting were perfect, and she managed to capture all the pieces of the day so well. She was accommodating with which formal shots we wanted and kept taking pictures during some unscripted moments as well that turned out to be some of the best of the day. Though extremely professional, both she and her husband were incredibly warm and friendly, putting us at ease through both the initial communication and the wedding day. We can't say enough about how happy we are with the work she did, and we'd recommend her to anyone.

I'll admit, I was a bit nervous to work w/ Garone Photography since it was so hard to get a hold of Rebecca either by phone or email. And I was a little frustrated that she waited until the last minute (the day before the wedding... while I was getting my nails done) to get all the important information from me such as parent's and bridal party names.

But every time I met Rebecca she was professional and friendly and the wedding day was no different. Her and her husband made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and were fun and easy to laugh with. The outcome of photos are fantastic. We couldn't be more pleased with the memories Garone Photography captured for us.
