Wonderful!

Rebecca was always willing to work with me. She was realistic about what would work in the space and the best way to set up the venue for our wedding, which was extremely helpful! They are changing venues on 01/27/19, so the management for the gardens restaurant will change soon. I can't speak to the new management, but the venue itself is beautiful! If I were you I would at least look at the Oaks Event Center in Burleson, which is where the old catering company is moving to.

Our mother's celebration of life ceremony was beautifully executed and the venue was stunning! The rent a frog valet staff were very accommodating. The restaurant staff help us set up photos, photo albums and projectors for video presentation. The rooms were spacious and guests had a memorable time. The food was fantastic and staff even helped box up leftovers. I know my mom was smiling down from heaven!!! Rebecca saw every little detail was handled. Elizabeth worked the function and it went perfectly! The entire staff were friendly, courteous and extremely professional. We would highly recommend this venue for any function!!! Thanks again from our family!

The food was great. I'm excited my guests will have a delicious Menu. They have tons of menu options to choose from.

They are also great to work with including the staff. Very attentive. The location is also lovely.

We had the wedding rehearsal for 50 at Gardens Restaurant and cannot say enough how pleased we were with their all around service and how beautiful their venue is. Everyone had a wonderful time with the intimate setting for the party. A memorable evening we will always remember.

Great food and service for small wedding. We had about 55 guests during the afternoon hours and heavy appetizers were perfect. Couldn't be better.

Our family college graduation reception and dinner was perfect! The staff was so professional, and the food was delicious! The venue itself is very nice. We will have more events at this location!

I had my reception there May 11th and it was perfect. Rebecca was a pleasure to work with. We had 2 waitresses and 1 bartender and they were all SO amazing! The food was to die for and the drinks were really good. It was also very affordable! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

The Gardens Restaurant is very, very nice! The staff is super nice! The room where my daughter's bridal shower was held is ample enough for 50 people. We had a real nice day.

The restaurant manager and assistant manager are courteous, knowledgeable and agreeable persons with whom it is easy to work. They carefully listened to our desires, attentive to our concerns, and presented a nice assortment of choices. The venue had well-appointed amenities and was nicely furnished and decorated for our event. The food was appropriately cooked and seasoned, served in generous portions and well-presented. The waitperson assigned to our wedding luncheon was pleasant and efficient. Our guests were extremely complimentary of our wedding luncheon in all respects. The Garden Restaurant comes HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. They hit a grand slam home run and will certainly be used by us for future family events.

Be open to new ideas, Rebecca's very knowledgeable and helpful in directing you on food, colors, placements. I utilized their services for a spring themed luncheon for our volunteers and she personally checked in on the set up. I really appreciated the attention to details and making feel she was there for me. The staff is very friendly!

Book this venue! We loved the venue and the entire staff at the Gardens Restaurant. They are amazing and made our celebration of love fantastic. We have cherished memories to last a lifetime! We look forward to dining there the next time we are at the Gardens. We would be regulars if we lived closer. All our guests enjoyed themselves tremendously. We loved our function! Rebecca and Samantha were a treasure in helping me create a wonderful evening! The food was amazing! We did not believe our group could have such a top notch function. These ladies made this possible.

The Gardens Restaurant was absolutely awesome from the first time we met with Rebecca for food tasting and to discuss our options and plans. Subsequently, we communicated with Samantha a lot who was equally awesome and very responsive to our questions and requests. The food itself was just great - every one of our guests was very highly complimentary of the food, particularly the passed appetizers. Thank you, guys, for the great work and for being such a big part of our magical day!!

Our Holiday Party was a success because of the atmosphere, staff and service at The Gardens Restaurant. It was awesome! All the employees had a wonderful time. I would recommend The Gardens to anyone.

The entire staff at the Gardens Restaurant are the best ever. From Samantha, the manager, to Wayne, and all the servers, I have never seen so many people care about the quality of their food, the environment and your happiness with their services.

The food is beautifully prepared and presented. A full menu including gluten free and vegetarian as well as family favorites - always delicious!

I have thrown large private celebrations which were outstanding and people are still talking about, to bringing friends, family and clients on Sunday brunch - all raving...

The Gardens Restaurant is our "go to" place in Fort Worth for dining with friends. We then spend some time in the gardens and enjoy all that makes the Botanic Gardens spectacular and the Gardens Restaurant outstanding.

A great restaurant for all your entertaining needs. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable, they have a great ambiance setting, right in the middle of the Botanical Gardens in Fort Worth. You get to enjoy great food, a feel of all the beautiful gardens and great service. Definitely the best catering source in the area!!

Had a beautiful reception here. While it seems everywhere else in Texas is brown & dead, the botanical gardens were nice a green. The gardens resturant provided affordable catering not to mention a view of the botanical gardens without the heat. (My wedding was near the end of August). Also, any who wanted (and crazily enough there were a few) were more than welcome to enjoy the actual gardens.

We had our reception at the Gardens Restaurant which is located inside of the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. It was very lovely and the food was incredible. It even looked amazing, and tasted even better. We worked with Amy, but I don't think she's there any longer. She was really nice and went over the menu with us and helped us with all of the details. We did a buffet with blackened chicken in cajun sauce, beef kabobs, roasted new potatoes, green beans, salad, rolls, tea, water, and champagne for just over 100 people and it was only $2800. Plus it's in the gardens and so the views are excellent.

I was the day-of coordinator for a wedding held in the Japanese Gardens at the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens. The catering staff was very willing to help in any way needed... not just in the area of catering. We had to re-set the pavilions after the ceremony for the reception. The staff asked several times if there was anything they could do to help. One of the staff members prepared plates for myself and my assistant. The display of food was beautiful and there was so much to chose from. Loved the big china plates they provided. It is a great thing to be able to fill your plate and have room to do so. We had the rehearsal dinner for our son and his bride at the Gardens Restaurant on the last Sunday evening in July. The service and food were excellent and the rooms we rented were a perfect space for the wedding party and family and a few friends who attended. I would recommend this venue to others.

We rented 2 rooms at the f8Gardens for our son and his bride-to-be's rehearsal dinner. The meal was delicious and gluten free which we needed for several guests. There was plenty of room for 50 people and we enjoyed the flowers on the tables and the lovely landscaping outside. They accommodated the slide show and there was a microphone for the speeches of the wedding party. We were very pleased that we were able to use the Gardens for our event.

We had our wedding reception at the Gardens restaurant. the service , food and location was perfect. they worked with us on our budget and were very flexible in what we wanted and our budget was not lavish. It was a beautiful setting and they made it happen!

PROS: The owners were a pleasure to work with and the staff that worked my reception was absolutely amazing!! They were so great I made sure they each got wedding cake and chocolate covered strawberries to take home (in addition to their tips of course lol). The food was to die for and they were so accommodating.
CONS: We were told that they always make more than enough food for everyone so we'd get any left overs to take home and if anyone doesn't show up we'd get to go boxes of that food since you pay per person. Myself and our parents barely ate anything at all and 9 people didn't show up so we, of course, thought we were going to have 9 to go boxes (if not more since 5 of us barely ate). At the end of the event we got 2 to go boxes of food meaning we paid for A LOT of food that we didnt get which we definitely could not afford to do.

It's really hard rating them because I really did love everything so much but the negative for us is huge purely because we were on SUCH a tight budget and really couldn't afford to just throw that money away.

This is the restaurant that's in the the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. We decided to go through them because it seemed convenient and the food was good. At first, we had a difficult time with clarity regarding the bills, but in the end everything turned out okay. My mother was very stressed out when we were told about an added fee that they formally didn't mention.
We had these hors d'oeuvres that were amazing. They were avocado halves stuffed with a light chicken salad. Oh my gosh, to die for! So, the food is pretty good here.

Also, a very important thing to mention is how AMAZING the staff was at my reception! They were on top of things! They kept bringing our bridal table food and making sure our drinks were full! They even offered to cut the cake and that wasn't part of the deal! They were also very freakin' nice and were genuinely happy about our wedding. They even left us notes congratulating us! I didn't find those until after the honeymoon and it really made me smile.

All in all, a great experience!

We had our daughter's baby shower at the Gardens Restaurant on Saturday, April 29, 2017. It was enjoyed by all! I had never planned an event at a restaurant, and Rebecca went above and beyond working with us when changes were needed in the menu and room set up. One of my daughters has severe food allergies and a separate entree was prepared for her. The wait staff were very courteous and attentive to us and our guests. The mother-to-be needed her food heated and they were so accommodating. Although we could have used additional time to set up our decorations, the baby shower for our first Grandchild will be a beautiful memory for Amy and Michael as they continue in their journey to parenthood!

This was my brother in law's wedding, so I can't speak to value for price because I was not involved in the payment aspect. I dealt with Samantha to help coordinate gluten free meals for 5 guests including myself. She was great and helpful and answered all my pushy emails. We added to the number of special plates needed several times (including the day before the event) and they were always great about it. The special plates were tasty and we even had a surprise GF dessert that was wonderful. The servers were helpful in finding the gluten free guests and attentive. During the meal I was pleased with the service of all the workers, keeping glasses of tea full and removing empty plates. They were professional in manner and dress.

Save yourself the hassle! It was incredibly difficult to get in touch with the restaurant manager and I often had to email several times to get just one response. Things were made unnecessarily difficult and there was constant miscommunication. The manager told me she would be there the day of the wedding and then wasn't, leaving my day-of coordinator to run around and try to figure out all the specifics of the building to execute my wedding, including how to operate their in-house sound system, where they kept their audio cords, and how to dim the lights. We were charged $18 for a bottle of champagne that the staff didn't know/wasn't informed that they had to give us for our toast and even then, we only got the two glasses. What happened to the rest of the champagne we paid for?! We paid $75 for a 2 cake cutting fee, but they just cut and served one at a time instead of providing our guests with the option to choose the flavor they wanted. I could go on and on, but honestly the moral of the story is just to pass on the Gardens Restaurant.

The food, service, and display were all outstanding. We had tea sandwiches, cheese, fruit, and drinks for 200 people. The food was delicious and the display was very nice. They were also kind enough to pack up some of the extra for my husband and I to take home.

However, we had a few major coordination issues with them.

First, they let me know a few days before the wedding that they would need 20 feet of table space. I didn't think I had that much space, so I asked if they could use less. They agreed. As they began setting up, they grabbed the table for the bar. The BRIT got new table for the bar. They grabbed that one too. We were incredible lucky that the BRIT had additional tables handy and was able to accommodate the space.

Secondly, they ran out of sandwiches well before the end of the reception, which was extra surprising, considering we had over a dozen week-of cancellations and were under our forecasted headcount. It was an afternoon reception so no one starved but it was still surprising.

Finally, the BRIT has a very strict no-trash policy. Throwing away trash onsite would result in a $100 fee. In my initial communications with the Gardens, I checked that they would remove all trash. In my coordinator's email the Monday before the wedding, she reminded the Gardens about the trash policy. After the wedding, the Gardens removed only the catering trash and not the bar trash. When I inquired after the wedding about the issue, I was then informed that they would only remove trash related to their services and not the bar trash, since they had not furnished the bar. That would have been fine and I would have been able to make alternate arrangements for the bar trash had they informed me of that policy in advance.

These three coordination and communication issues were enough that I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending Gardens to anyone. The food was great, but the extra stress isn't worth it

Honestly, this restaurant almost ruined our wedding reception! The manager reassured us the buffet tables would be provided by the Garden's Restaurant. However, an hour before the reception Samantha told us this was not the case. We had to scramble last minute to rent tables to put the food on.

Furthermore, we drove from out of town for a tasting 3 months before the event, and met with the manager. Even though copious notes were taken, they lost them 2 weeks before our wedding and didn't know what our menu was nor did they serve the selected wine beverages. It always felt like they were trying to suck as much money out of us as possible, and not really listening to our concerns. This level of disorganization and lack of customer service for the amount of money paid was truly baffling!
