Stunning floral design and great service!

I cannot say enough amazing things about working with Laura at Gardenia in Athens, GA for my wedding flowers. From the very beginning, Laura was incredibly kind, patient, and easy to work with. She took the time to really understand my vision, and then elevated it into something more beautiful than I ever could have imagined.

Every single detail—from the bouquets to the ceremony arrangements to the reception centerpieces—was thoughtfully designed and absolutely breathtaking. Laura went above and beyond in every way, making the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. She has an incredible eye for design and such genuine care for her clients, which truly shines through in her work.

I would recommend Gardenia and Laura a thousand times over to anyone looking for stunning florals and a wonderful experience. She made my wedding day more magical than I dreamed possible, and I’m forever grateful!

We loved having Gardenia Floral for our summer wedding! From the beginning, Laura was so easy to work with and very organized. She was very accomodating whenever we wanted to make any changes and made our floral dreams really come to life. The staff working the wedding day were lovely and helped transport flowers from the ceremony to the reception. I could not recommend Gardenia more!

Brooke and Chris's Wedding

We used Gardenia Floral for our reception and bridal flowers for my daughter’s wedding in Athens. Caite at Gardenia Floral was such a pleasure to work with. We had a phone conference. When she sent me the quote and her vision and recommendations, I was shocked. Just from our conversation, she brought all of my thoughts and visions to life. (I am not one of these that has several pictures on a vision board to share. I am way more verbal.) She made everything very relaxed while keeping everything so very professional. She worked with me at the last minute to change a few things. All of the florals were beautiful and truly met my expectations. I highly recommend Gardenia Floral.

Wedding Florals

Gardenia Floral Design went above and beyond on our wedding flowers. They took a vision & collection of inspo pictures, and made our wedding flower dreams come true! Each floral detail was perfect! They provided all the reception glass vases/votives, candles, and lanterns. Everything turned out so beautiful, and I can't recommend Gardenia enough!

BEAUTIFUL arrangements, better than I could have imagined

Caite was my florist, I provided her with details about my vision and I gave her my budget. She did her best to stay under it and we would make adjustments throughout to ensure that was the case. What she created on my wedding day was BEYOND anything I ever would have imagined!!! Highly recommend!!!

Beautiful florals!!

Laura at Gardenia was incredible for our rehearsal dinner and wedding, I wouldn't recommend anyone else in Athens! Going through the planning process with her was amazing, I did not know the names of any flowers or greenery that I wanted, I showed her a few pictures and described my vision and she was able to create the florals that perfectly matched it. I didn't know what to expect in our first planning meeting but she made it so fun! Laura was so easy to work with but she also maintained a level of professionalism throughout our time together. Everything the day of our wedding was beautiful and I am so grateful that Laura and her team worked hard to make this possible!

Gorgeous flowers!

Laura with Gardenia Floral Design did the floral arrangements for my ceremony and reception in Athens. Since we were planning during the pandemic we exchanged all information over email; I sent her a few inspiration pictures in the beginning and described my style and vision, then Laura ran with it and made my floral arrangements even better than I had pictured. She was also very flexible and responsive to the week-of updates that I had. I absolutely loved my flowers and would highly recommend her, thank you Laura!!

Exquisite and exceptional

Laura and her team at Gardenia are incredible! The flowers were spectacular. Laura made the process of planning so easy and her day of installation and execution was flawless. I’m was speechless when I saw what she had created for our daughters wedding. The show stopping hanging display, gorgeous bouquets, artful table decor and all the extras truly made our day so special.

If you're looking for a stress-free floral experience...

Look no further! As a type A personality with a Pinterest addiction, you can imagine I had a specific vision for my wedding decor. Laura looked at my Pinterest board photos and listened to me describe my vision, and solely based on that, through some wizardry she created the most amazing florals and decor to make my and my now-husband's vision come to life! She made the process so fun and easy, sending pictures and ideas and being responsive when we wanted to make a couple of changes in the last few weeks. She worked with our budget and still made it look like the fairytale I always dreamed of. I HIGHLY recommend Laura for all of your floral and decor needs!!

Excellent communication and gorgeous end result

I am so thrilled that I found Gardenia for our wedding in Highlands, NC. Laura was an excellent communicator (transparent, clear, and quick to respond), and she was able to take some broad interests of mine and create the perfect arrangements (garlands for long tables, bouquets, ceremony arrangements, flowers in front of the stage, etc.). She knew what I liked better than I did and I'm so glad I trusted her vision. She was also willing to talk through different ideas for a unique seating chart and last minute changes. I also found services to be a much better price point than the first few vendors I reached out too. My only regret is not having time to admire every gorgeous piece. I would 1000% use Laura's services again and highly recommend her team.

Absolutely Beautiful!

Gardenia Floral Design is one of a kind! Laura ensured that all of our needs were well taken care of. I provided them with an inspiration picture and they helped design it almost exactly. Everything turned out just how we wanted it to from my bouquet, my bridesmaid's bouquets, the corsages, the place settings, the ceremony flowers, etc. We are so glad we chose Gardenia to be our florist!

Brittanie was fantastic , my mom and talked about colors and flowers we liked and she created amazing works of art. Also surprised me with cute flower crowns the flower girls which I woe some too.

I want to emphasize how flexible Laura and her staff were, as many of the previous reviews have mentioned. After the initial proposal, we made changed 6 or 7 times, and Laura was always so accommodating. Not to mention that the flowers were BEAUTIFUL. I highly recommend using Gardenia!

Becky rocks. Hands down the best florist I've ever met. When we first met, while planning my wedding I made it real clear to Becky I knew I needed SOME flowers, but they were NOT a priority to me. I made sure she knew I didnt want to spend a lot. :) She not only met my expectations, but SURPASSED them! She respected my budget and made my wedding day flowers look like a million bucks. I sent her ideas and she got creative with duplicating the look with more affordable options that were in season. She was amazing!! She was an absolute joy to communicate with in ten months leading up the the wedding. My flowers were gorgeous and now I realize flowers ARE important in a wedding, yet can still be affordable. Thank you for making my wedding pictures beautiful!!! <3

Laura and her team at Gardenia floral did a fantastic job with our wedding! They were easy to communicate with, flexible, and very reasonably priced. Gardenia Floral Design was just what I needed for our wedding! Becky showed exemplary professionalism through the entire process, and when we received the final product on our wedding day, the arrangements were stunning. I really appreciated their business model and proposal process. They don't use package pricing. They charge based on their labor and costs, and they don't mark up the wholesale costs of their supplies. I sent in my budget, and some pictures of my dress, etc. and what I was looking for in my floral arrangements, and she sent back a detailed proposal for the necessary labor and materials costs (breaking it down to the number of each type of flower and the yards of each type of ribbon required ). I was very comfortable working with her and beyond pleased with the final results!

Working with Laura at Gardenia was such a pleasure. She was so attentive to detail and really took time to figure out what I was looking for. I live in CA, so I didn't have a chance to see any of the options until the day of the wedding and I was blown away. All of the bouquets were just perfect and the centerpieces were exactly what I asked for. I also thought Gardenia's prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality. I actually never even saw Laura or her team on the day of the wedding - they came in, made the venue beautiful and made sure I was stress-free. I would HIGHLY recommend Gardenia to anyone getting married - you won't be disappointed!

I am so happy we chose Gardenia Floral for our wedding flowers. Becky created the most beautiful arrangements and bouquets I have ever seen - it was exactly what I envisioned. Becky at Gardenia Floral Design took my vision for flowers at both my ceremony and reception and made it even better than imaginable. She took the several Pinterest pictures I provided and created arrangements that were absolutely stunning. The flowers were so fresh and bright! You can't go wrong with Gardenia for your wedding flowers. We shared a list of flowers we liked and didn't like as well as a few images to convey our ideas for the bouquets, boutonnieres, and the ceremony and reception centerpieces. Laura Shain, our coordinator, put together a plan and continued to work with us as things changed throughout our planning process. When we needed the boutonnieres right at 4:30 for groomsmen photos, she had them there early and ready to go. Our centerpieces for both the ceremony and reception were stunning and received many compliments. The bride and maid of honor bouquets were the right size, so they didn't overtake us in photos. We would highly recommend Gardenia to anyone!

My flowers were absolutely stunning. My wedding colors were orange and grey; Laura was able to incorporate both colors into all of the arrangements. Great quality of flowers- my mother and sister took the arrangements home the day after the wedding and they are still going strong a week after the wedding. I really liked how Laura would work with my budget. She was able to help me make sure I wasn’t “missing” any arrangements by making some of the flowers multipurpose- which I loved. She was very easy to work it. We never met in person/got to see the arrangements beforehand because I live in Woodstock, Ga but I sent her pictures from my pinterest board of what I was looking for. Come the wedding day, Laura showed up with the most beautiful arrangements! They were prefect in every way. I got tons of compliments on the flowers. I was happy because they were within my budget!  Wonderful experience working with her and great quality of flowers.

Gardenia was everything I could've asked for & more in a florist. I love flowers, but we had so many big expenses that were important to us that we were a little overwhelmed by the time we made it to this vendor selection. After getting several quotes from Atlanta florists that were way outside of our price range, I was referred to Gardenia by our venue and am so happy that our paths crossed! Becky made the process so easy and suggested alternatives to some of the inspiration boards I had sent her so that we could make everything happen without being stressed financially! Her honesty, creativity and helpfulness made our process so relaxed and wonderful. Becky even helped me with suggestions for what decorations would look best in the venue and provided beautiful lantern, drapery and vase rentals that MADE the venue look amazing with little to no decor. I couldn't have asked for a sweeter or harder working florist! Book Gardenia & you won't regret it!

Gardenia Floral Design was great! They let me add last minute changes when our ring bearer was not able to attend and the flowers were gorgeous! My bouquet was BEAUTIFUL! It cascaded down with beautiful white flowers. They were there to help us letting us know whether we could get something cheaper ourselves and where to get certain decorations! They will do absolutely anything you ask them to as far as decor goes. I recommend that people look on there Facebook page and really look at what they can do!

So happy to have been able to work with Gardenia Floral Design! Laura took my 500 emails and photos, and created the exact look I was going for - all for a great price! The flowers were one the the things I cared most about getting "right" on my wedding day at the Botanical Gardens, and Gardenia did not disappoint. Everything was lush, fresh, and beautifully arranged. I would not hesitate to recommend Gardenia Floral Design to anyone! Becky was a wonderful vendor to work with. She is very knowledgeable and professional, and went out of her way to explain her flower suggestions to me (I have very little knowledge of flower varieties). All of our flower arrangements were absolutely beautiful. She has a real talent for interpreting a bride's vision into something that fits their budget and style. She was so easy to work with- one of our vendors who came well prepared, and did a perfect job arranging the floral decorations at our venue. We really loved working with her, and would definitely recommend her to a friend.

The flowers for my wedding were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The employees from Gardenia stayed almost for the full duration of my wedding to help move the flowers used during the ceremony to my reception site. They were also very helpful in helping me with any other small thing I needed. They were very flexible and super sweet!

I cannot sing the praises of Laura and her team enough! I admittedly gave her very little guidance (just a handful of photos pulled from Pinterest), and she ran with it. On the day of, the flowers were everything I had hoped for. Throughout the entire planning process, she was responsive and professional. Their pricing cannot be beat, and along with that comes unbelievable quality. A true testament to their professionalism, I never saw or heard from anyone at GFD on my wedding day - they were in and out, executed perfectly, and didn't need their hands held. I would use them again and again for any and all floral needs.

Out of everything on my wedding day I was most pleased with my flowers from Gardenia Floral Design. Laura and her team were AMAZING and provided the best experience possible.

I gave the team minimal input, and the output was absolutely glamours. My guest cannot stop talking about the ceremony and reception floral designs! This is a must pick vendor for anyone looking, and Gardenia will be first choice for all of my floral needs moving forward!

The flowers turned out absolutely gorgeous! It was just what I pictured and more. They were on time and ready for pictures just like promised. I never saw Brittany that day, but it all happened magically without me needing to do anything which was absolutely perfect. Brittany responded to all my emails promptly and worked patiently as I figured out just the look I wanted to go for. I can't say enough great things about them! Very flexible and easy to work with. They always made me feel like I was their only wedding which was so refreshing!

I LOVE these ladies. Gardenia did a fantastic job on our wedding. Not only did they provide us with gorgeous flowers, but they went above and beyond and decorated our entire ceremony space by hanging up tons of paper pom poms! GORGEOUS and PERFECT job - amazing at what they do. They know their flowers!

We met with the owner once for just a little bit and told her what our idea was and showed her just a handful of a few flowers we liked. That is all it took - we couldn't believe how perfect the wedding flowers were and how they were exactly what we were looking for!

I could not love Gardenia Floral Design more!! I didn't know much about flowers before my wedding, but knew the style and look I was going for. I was able to bring them a couple pictures and discuss what I liked and didn't like with each and they were able to create gorgeous florals for my entire wedding. The flowers were gorgeous!! Laura and her staff were awesome!!! I had so many changes, but Laura was very patient with me and adjusted my proposal without hesitation. The customer service was excellent and they will make sure your day is perfect!!! I was extremely pleased with my ceremony flowers and the reception centerpieces. They were stunning!!! I would recommend GFD to anyone!!!

Laura at Gardenia Floral designs was an absolute joy to work with, always trying her best to do whatever we asked of her. She was incredibly flexible when plans were changed rather last minute and even threw in extras to make our daughter's day special.
Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were and I think we got an tremendous value for what was provided.
I would absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend this florist to anyone!

Gardenia helped create a beautiful wedding for us. The flowers were absolutely PERFECT. We actually planned our wedding from out of state so they had to go off of some pictures I sent and ideas I had. Everything was exactly how I envisioned it. They did a terrific job and were amazing with getting back to us quickly. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone.

Gardenia exceeds all expectations. They were booked full on my wedding day when we called to set up an appointment. Seeing as how they were delivering to my reception venue that day any way, they worked us in. I had a variety of flowers i loved and was having a hard time making a decision. I let the artists at Gardenia work there majic....and OH MY....i couldn't have dreamed of more beautiful flower center pieces and my bouquet was to die for!!!!! Fantastic florist! Becky worked hard to help me stay within budget but also have beautiful flowers. She was easy to work with and very flexible throughout the process. My flowers were big and beautiful and her prices were a few hundred dollars less than some other florists I got quotes from. She is a must for any Athens area wedding!

I cannot say enough positive things about Laura and her team at Gardenia! I knew just what I wanted when I came to her but she made my vision come to life, better than I expected! I remember when I walked into the reception for my first looked, I screamed because I couldn't believe how AMAZiNG the flowers looked! My guests were amazed by the colors and how fresh everything was, as soon as they walked into the venue, the flowers were the only thing everyone noticed. Not only were the reception flowers beautiful, my bouquet was out of this world! She put so much thought and detail into it.

If I could do the whole thing over again, I would choose Laura and her team to do my flowers over and over again!

Our experience with Gardenia was outstanding. The bouquets were absolutely stunning, not to mention the corsages and boutonnieres. Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were. Becky was extremely professional and detail-oriented, eliminating any worries or concerns regarding the flowers. I will definitely recommend Gardenia to any and all brides that I know or meet!

Gardenia Floral did an amzing job at our wedding! I was a little hesitant doing everything online at first, but when the flowers arrived they were so beautiful! We ordered red roses and I wanted them to be fully bloomed, but you run the risk of them drooping, but her roses didn't droop at all! Everything was marvelous! 5 well earned stars! :)

I absolutely LOVED working with Becky and Gardenia Floral. I really put my trust in her hands because I knew nothing about flowers, and she exceeded all of my expectations. Not only did she do a great job on the flowers for our wedding and reception, but Becky is one of those people that just simply puts you at ease. I was absolutely delighted with Gardenia Floral Design. While I had a description of the arrangements prior to the wedding, seeing them the day of was the most wonderful surprise. The arrangements were stunning, from the bouquets to the ceremony flowers to the table arrangements and the cake topper. They were exactly what I wanted and all Laura had to go on was that I told her I wanted sunflowers, peonies, blue glass ball jars and arrangements that were rustic/country in look. She also created a hair wreath for my flower girl and she looked precious with it.

Gardenia provided beautiful flowers on our wedding day. It was more than I could have expected. They were helpful in picking out the perfect flowers for our day and the prices were amazing. The Gardenia staff was so helpful throughout the entire planning process. I don't know anything about flowers, but I told them what I thought looked good and they were able to put together extraordinarily beautiful arrangements. I only made contact with them through email due to my very busy schedule, but the flowers could not have been more beautiful! Everyone at the wedding commented on how beautiful the fresh arrangements were. In fact, many people took the flowers home to keep. The value was unbelievable! They are a perfect choice!!!

I could not have chosen a better florist for my Las Vegas wedding! Being a former Athens, GA wedding planner myself, I knew from day one that I had to find a florist like Gardenia Floral on my special day. I made calls, sent emails and got quotes from every florist I could find in Nevada - none came even close. Since no one else would do, I took Gardenia Floral Design with me to Sin City in March and I am ceratinly glad I did. After a few brief planning meetings with Laura, I knew she understood exactly what I wanted. On my wedding day, I was absolutely blown away with how perfect the flowers were! They were even better than I expected - we even had groomsmen commenting on how gorgeous they were! Thank you Gardenia Floral Design for making my wedding day beautiful!

Gardenia Florial is FANTASTIC!!! Those two ladies can make any idea you have of your day come true and definately under a budget!!! I met with Becky only once and showed her my colors and a few insperation pictures and i just let her take it from there. I let her be in complete control because after all you are paying them for there knowledge and experience, which i do not know much of anything about flowers. My main flower were hydrangias from out west that we a deep purple and blue, the most beautiful hydrangia i have ever seen! My bridesmaids had deep purple dresses while my maid of honor had a cornflower color and these flowers tied everything in perfectly!! these ladies just read my mind and made my wedding day just amazing for me!

The flowers in my wedding were the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen! The arrangements were absolutely breath taking! My wedding cake had roses in between each layer of the cake, including over the top layer and under the bottom layers, and it was beautiful! The flowers definitely made the finsihing touch! When I went to meet Becky, the owner, I had a notebook that had pictures of everything I wanted in my flowers. She knew exactly what I wanted and only made it more beautiful! When I did not know exactly what I wanted, she had great ideas! Everything turned out perfect! They were great to work with and extremely nice ladies! I could not have been any happier!

I would reccomend Becky and Gardenial Floral to anyone! Gardenial Floral did all of our flowers (bouqets, centerpieces, ceremony decorations) as well as lighting design. All of it turned out beautiful! Also, they are great with working within the budget you have- and still make it look amazing!

I have nothing but great things to say about Gardenia Floral. Gardenia Floral was really flexible with me and answered all of my EXTENSIVE questions. They have great work. I ordered peonies, roses, lily of the valley, and hydrangea. Everything was fresh and beautiful. They are really young and in style with what you see in the magazines. The price was amazing. I went to another local florist who quoted me over twice the price for less (less arrangements and no peonies) than they ended up providing me. I was told that if the costs ran over I would receive a bill at the end. I talked to them about my budget and what I was hoping for. In the end, I received a refund as they were able to get a deal on the flowers. I also realized at the last minute that I was going to be a bouteniere short. I called the day before and was told that it was no problem. They are venders that you don't have to worry about. I received everything that I was looking for, on time, in great condition, and at a great price.

Becky and her team worked diligently to deliver what I asked for, considering my budget. She stayed in communication, always returning calls and emails. Gardenia Floral Designs was GREAT! Their flowers were beautiful and affordable, and arrived just how I imagined them. I would highly recommend them to other brides in the area. They were a bit difficult to get a hold of right away, but they always did eventually get back to me with answers and suggestions for my questions. I LOVED the flowers at my wedding! Laura at Gardenia floral really listened to what I wanted. My flowers were beautiful and added so much to my wedding. Gardenia floral design was able to stay within my budget and the church and reception tables were beautifully decorated. They were easy to work with. I am so pleased with the work that Laura and her team at Gardenia did for my wedding. I don't live locally so was never able to sit down with her face to face but she was so patient with all of my many, many emails and the many times I changed my mind. She had also worked at my venue before which isn't traditionally used for weddings so she was able to give some great advice on what types of arrangements would look best in that atmosphere.

Prior to the wedding, I had no idea what I would be getting except for the inspiration pictures I had sent and a list of flowers that would be used. I was so excited/nervous to see everything and was just hopeful that even if it wasn't exactly like I imagined, it would at least look pretty. When I finally got my bouquet and saw the reception space fully decorated, I was estatic. It really was better than I ever could have hoped for and my thoughts immediately went to figuring out how to preserve my bouquet!

After our first florist flaked out, my mom and I were both a little stressed about flowers. But Gardenia Floral Design stepped up and took care of us quickly and professionally. We had my bridal bouquet, 8 bouquets of baby's breath for the bridesmaids, 10 for the centerpieces, 10 cotton boutonnieres, and 2 corsages. I was disappointed that despite keeping the flower choices so minimal, the price was still out of our original budget. However, a lot of that cost covered travel from Jefferson to Madison (~3 hours round trip). We considered handling the baby's breath on our own to cut on cost, but we caved a bit for convenience of a professional staff delivering and setting everything up. My bouquet was gorgeous though! The cotton boutonnieres did not hold up very well however. The at least looked great for ceremony and bridal party pictures. Since I was planning from out of state (living in Arkansas/wedding in Georgia) my mom handled most of the communication. She was very happy and impressed with Gardenia Floral as well. I would recommend them to a friend as I'm confident the rest of their floral services would be great.

Planning from 2 states away, Becky with Gardenia made everything so much easier! I was so grateful how she worked with me through email. We spent several months emailing countless times back and forth to get the proposal right. She took my ideas and theme and combined them with her experience and eye for design to create something stunning. She brought a lot of ideas and details to the table that other newer florists I interviewed didn't have. I felt confident relying on her expertise. She also worked within our budget and warned me when I would be going over. I only took 2 stars off for responsiveness because sometimes it would take her several weeks to get back to me. But she always did. I received countless compliments on the personals, ceremony decor, and reception centerpieces. Her flowers absolutely made our wedding.

Wedding Flowers

Brittnye was very easy to work with and responded to all my questions regarding the florals. We purchased 16 floral centerpieces, one on each guest table at the venue. The display was beautiful and the flowers were stunning. We also paid for 3 large , tall centerpieces -placed at the buffet and in-front of the ceremony window on the venue owned pillars. We also purchased florals to be placed around the ceremony arch window -which was covered with smilax and white florals. The arrangements were very pretty and I hesitated to write this review, but felt so strong about our experience that I do not want another bride or her family to have this similar situation. So, here is how the end played out...... I paid in advance for all the florals and delivery/display, and per the vendor contract, the florist would return at the end for any rentals. Gardenia never did specify exactly what was a rental and I assumed the rentals were the pillar candles in the glass cylinder vases since they seem to reuse them at all their events. But, I was told that they returned at the end of the evening and collected the flowers and took them with them. Now, per the owner, Laura, she advised me that Brittnye and Michael was also present during the wedding and reception- yet they never did approach me for an introduction nor ask me or anyone for permission to remove and take away all the flowers with them. When I returned the next morning to pick up the floral arrangements ( which I planned to take with me), I sadly found that the only ones left for me to take was the Bride's and her MOH bouquet.
I immediately asked the venue manager and she said that the Gardenia crew took them with them.
When I called Gardenia, I spoke with the owner who told me that 100% of Brides do not want their flowers ( really??) and they assumed I did not either. I did not give them permission to take away my flowers, that I purchased, not rented. These were real flowers, not silk and these arrangements should have been left for me to pick up that next morning.

The set up of the florals was a little disorganized as the person setting them up was not the person I had been dealing with. A few florals were left off of a couple of tables as well. Overall the work they did was beautiful. Very talented staff.
