GSFD is a must hire!!

We had our wedding in September 2023 and Erika from Garden State Floral provided all our beautiful florals! She was so gracious and patient with us throughout the entire process, even as we had quite a few mind-changes and additions. The final project was absolutely stunning and added so much to the event. Beautiful Flowers

Our flowers were absolutely breathtaking. They were everything I hoped for and lasted in the summer heat. Erika worked with us with pricing and helped us pick the best options for us. I would highly recommend Garden State Florist!

Garden State Floral Design provided stunning flowers!

We just used Garden State Floral Design for our wedding and Erika is awesome!! Erika and her team delivered in a major way: beautiful yellow, cream, light blue, light peach bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, Church baskets, and cake flowers all helped to perfectly capture our wedding day colors and stunning photo ops. We also ordered low centerpieces with a mix of greenery and white flowers, along with tall purple phalaenopsis orchids in white ceramic pots for each table and all of our guests agreed that they looked gorgeous! On the day of our wedding, Erika was there helping to set everything up and even made an above-and-beyond emergency run to grab a few more boutonnieres for our groomsmen. She is truly a professional and we could not be happier with how elegant our wedding looked as a result of her work at Garden State Floral Design. We highly recommend you reach out to Erika and her team, they are the best!!

The best florist there is

We postponed our big ceremony and decided to still get married on the beach in LBI on our original wedding date during the craziness of 2020. Erika was BEYOND amazing for both of them, she is extremely talented. We couldn’t have been any more in love with our flowers. She made the postponement process so easy, during such a stressful time and we really are so thankful for her. A couple of months before our date, we met with Erika to go over our vision of what we were looking for. She really went above and beyond, the flowers were so so beautiful. I specifically remember seeing them for the first time, and standing there in awe of how stunning everything turned out (TWICE)! They were literally breathtaking. She brought our vision to life even better than we could have ever imagined. The arch, my bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets, the boys boutonnieres, the center pieces, church baskets and the list goes on and on - absolutely everything was perfect, and I recommend Garden State Floral Design one million percent!

Beautiful & Unique Flowers!

Garden State Floral Design was absolutely perfect to work with for my wedding day. Erika is amazing at what she does. Her flowers are reasonably priced but so beautiful and unique in the way she created them. Everyone is still talking about my bouquet from my wedding! She was also incredible at answering questions or when I had last minute add ons to the order. I can’t recommend her enough. If you’re looking for those stunning, picturesque florals, Erika is who you want to hire!

Absolutely Perfect

If you are looking for a professional florist with unique designs, talented designers and an overall amazing experience, LOOK NO FURTHER! Erika and her team are simply amazing at what they do and took my breathe away on my wedding day. They took what I saw in my mind and brought it to life. Truly so happy and can't stop looking at ALL my flower arrangement pictures. I had a Christmas wedding but wanted my flowers to be more generic for photography purposes without loosing the holiday vibe–what was in my head was not what you could find on Pinterest, but they listened, understood and created a picture perfect ballroom. I am still not over it.

Best Florist!

Erika was super awesome throughout the entire process- very easy going, knowledgeable, and flexible. I had many ideas and changed things around a few times and she was very helpful and patient with me. We received many compliments on our floral arrangements and I absolutely loved them!

Beautiful Flowers!

Erika worked with my budget and designed beautiful bouquets, that were exactly what I envisioned! I know nothing about flowers, but when I met with her, I showed her pictures of bouquets I thought were pretty. She used that consultation to design the PERFECT bouquets and flower baskets for the ceremony. On wedding day, she arrived early to set up the ceremony flowers and drop off bouquets. All in all she did a perfect job. Highly recommend!

Simply Amazing!

I can’t say enough about Erika and her team at Garden State Floral.
She helped me make my wedding vision come to life. Looking through her designs she showed me, I pretty much gave her an idea of what I wanted and let her take the reins on the design. They exceeded my expectations. My husband and I were completely blown away by the flowers and design for our ceremony and reception.

Super accommodating and easy to contact. Exceptional service, very patient and skilled. Highly recommend a million times over!!

Phenomenal!

When we first walked in, we did not know much about flowers at all. I knew I wanted reds, whites, and really wanted to try to incorporate succulents. GSFD was patient, passionate, and so knowledgeable and approachable. We signed right there after she walked us through some mockups and possibilities. I never knew how important flowers would be to me but GSFD brought that to life. I cannot say enough about how absolutely gorgeous my bridal bouquet, my mother and mother in law's bouquets, the corsage for my grandmother, and all the men's boutonnieres looked for our special day. People were raving about unique, stunning, and full everything was. Everything was fresh, delivered promptly, and well cared for and maintained. There was impeccable customer service and I am working on preserving our gorgeous wedding flowers as we speak!! GSFD even suggested taking out some of the succulents and re-rooting them so I can always have them in my home and remember my special day! Erika, you are absolutely the best at what you do and sweet to boot! If there is a way to post pics, please let me know!

We cannot say enough great things about Garden State Floral Design. From the very first consultation they were professional, extremely responsive to email and determined to help make our day perfect! During the consultation, Erika was so knowledgeable and helpful in giving me all the information needed to make the right flower choices. On the wedding day, they were punctual and did a beautiful job arranging the garland on the railing for the ceremony. Even though it was hot all of the flowers looked perfect until the end of the night! I would definitely recommend Garden State to help make your day perfect!

The ladies at GS floral were amazing!!! They delivered my flowers and set up my sweet heart table exactly how I requested!!! They responded via email very promptly and even helped me out when I realized I was short a boutaniereers! Thank you! Highly recommend!

Erika from Garden State Floral Design was a joy to work with. I found her from reviews on Wedding Wire and from our first meeting we knew it was the right choice. She patiently talked through what we wanted for our wedding. She was very prompt with all communication and helpful with adding in some extra requests at the last minute. She delivered the flowers promptly on the day of and stuck around until I arrived to make sure everything came out well. - the flowers were beautiful! My wedding party and i were blown away by their classic elegance and beauty. We could not be happier we went with Erika from Garden State Floral Design and we highly recommend her.

Garden State Floral Design exceeded my expectations. We weren't too particular with what flowers we wanted, so we just told them that we needed the most affordable option that looked fall-themed. Garden State definitely delivered! Our flowers were fragrant, fresh, lasted all day and were so beautiful. I couldn't believe the value we got - they looked way we paid way more than we really did. The staff was also very responsive and helpful from the beginning of the process until our wedding day. Highly recommend!

Garden State Floral did an amazing job with my flowers. I told them what I liked and they gave me a bouquet that was even better than I imagined. All of my bridesmaids loved their bouquets too! They delivered my flowers right to my where we were getting ready and everything was delivered perfectly.

Erika and her staff did an excellent job with my floral arrangements this past Friday. I had gotten married in a barn and the rustic appeal of the flowers really showed. She made my centerpieces, flowers for the party and I, and a beautiful sunflower arrangement that looked stunning on our arbor. When I first met with her, she got my vision right away and boy did it come to life! I would highly recommend Garden state floral supply to anybody looking for fairly priced BEAUTIFUL arrangements and a flawless experience. I worked with Erika at Garden State Flower Market for my wedding floral arrangements and bouquet. I brought a photo into the shop and Erika was able to identify the flowers and also offer me alternative look-alikes to better suit my budget. I was brought to tears at how gorgeous everything was. The flowers for our wedding were absolutely gorgeous. Erika provided us with gorgeous fall bouquets that really added so much to the photos. I wasn't exactly sure what we'd get since I hadn't given that much direction, but the bouquets were even more beautiful that I could've imagined. We were even given them all each in their own vase with water, which made storing them and sending them home with the bridesmaids the next day super simple. I would definitely recommend using Garden State Floral design.

The flowers for my wedding were absolutely breathtaking!!
Erika at Garden State Floral was recommended to me through my venue, the Radisson Hotel of Freehold.
I met with her months prior to the wedding and she sat with my mother and I and helped me decide on the flowers that would really stand out on my special day. When the flowers arrived the morning of the wedding, my jaw dropped. I knew that the flowers were going to be made of calla lillies, roses, and blue orchids but when I finally saw them they literally took my breath away.
The blue orchids really looked amazing with my white dress and blue shoes and it made me feel so beautiful to carry them! I had two memorial pendants of my grandmothers made, and Erika wove them into the ribbons of my bouquet to beautifully so I could carry them down the aisle with me.
I plan to dry and preserve these flowers and put them in a shadow box to hang on the wall in my house, so I can keep this special memento forever. Thank you Erika for the hard work you did making these flowers everything I dreamed they would be!

Erika is awesome! She did such an amazing job with my flowers. My bouquet was SO unique and beautiful, and I got so many compliments on it. Erika was a dream to work with from start to finish. I live out of state and she was always accommodating and squeezing me in for appointments when she had the time. Her attention to detail and talent blew me away, and we couldn't be happier with all of the arrangements she made for us!

My experience with Garden State Floral was exceptional! Erika is so easy & helpful, from the every first time I spoke to Erika I had no idea what I was looking for . She was super patience with me when I was looking for pricing and types of flowers. The day of my wedding she showed up early with each bouquet in there own vase filled with water so they would hold over. My centerpieces were absolutely beautiful exactly what i was looking for. I chose Garden State Floral Design for my June wedding and I could not have been more pleased with my choice. Erika and team were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were creative and flexible and helped me come up with a beautiful centerpiece design that fit my budget. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted and after I provided a few vague details, Erika understood my vision and created something gorgeous! Everything from my bouquet, to the guy's boutonnieres, to those wonderful centerpieces were absolutely perfect.

Got married a few months and with all the craziness going on just haven't had time to write this review until now but we really wanted to express how thankful we are for the outstanding job Erika at Garden State Floral Design did for our wedding. From start to finish she made it very easy which was my main concern. Not necessarily my wife's main concern but definitely mine. She worked with my wife and her mother over some time to come up with exactly what they wanted and on the day of the wedding the flowers were perfect and exactly as expected. We received so many compliments for how beautiful all of the flowers were and they look amazing in all of our pictures. I'm a guy so I'm far from a flower expert but I know my wife was so happy with them and she's not easy to please (trust me) so they must have been as great as everyone was saying. I would highly recommend Erika and Garden State Floral Design to anyone needing a florist.

Garden State Flower Design provided my bridal bouquet and bridesmaids flowers for my wedding on 5-15-15 at The Radisson Hotel of Freehold. I emailed pictures of what I wanted and received exactly what I envisioned for myself and bridesmaids. My wedding color was malibu blue and I wanted a very bright contrast color. Erika McCabe was very helpful and quickly responded to all emails. She created beautiful bouquets using orange gerber daisies, roses and calla lillies. My pictures turned out beautifully. I would definitely recommend them!

Erika was an absolute pleasure to work with. We first met her when she did the flowers for my sister's wedding. Garden State Floral Design is fantastic! Erika is so easy to talk to and super helpful! She made the whole process really easy. The flowers were delivered early in the morning since we were doing pre-ceremony photos and they came earlier than expected and each bouquet had it's own vase to keep it watered all day. The bouquets were more beautiful! They were vibrant and colorful and captured exactly what I was looking for! We got so many compliments on them throughout the day. I was worried since we needed them early in the morning they wouldn't be as vibrant for our evening ceremony, but they held up amazing and looked great throughout the day. They even made it to get preserved! I'd highly recommend Garden State Floral Design for any flower needs--they are creative and unique and the prices are very competitive.

I had an excellent experience working with Erika and the entire staff at Garden State Floral Design for my wedding. During the first meeting with Erika, she completely understood my vision from just a few pictures I had brought and executed it perfectly. Everything from the bouquets to the centerpieces were absolutely beautiful! Erika was professional and very easy to work with, we only met a few times and that was all that was needed for perfect execution.

Also, in an area of the state where it is getting more and more expensive to get married, Garden State Floral Design gave us the most competitive price and was absolutely worth every penny!

I would recommend Garden State Floral Design to anyone without hesitation!

Erika has been an absolute pleasure to work with from beginning to end! Upon our first meeting, I wasn't really prepared for what I wanted. I showed her a picture, to which she glanced at really quick and went on to state that I liked the overall color scheme, but wanted a more formal look to the bouquet. Erika went on to suggest different flowers that would fit my vision. I literally had no idea what to expect when I had my bouquets delivered since I couldn't really visualize them in my head due to the changes. I was absolutely STUNNED when I received them on the day of the wedding, they were absolutely gorgeous! The boutonnieres and corsages were also perfect and just what we wanted! She also provided decor for our ceremony room which I only had a rough idea in my head of what it could look like. I was speechless when I first saw the room walking down the aisle, the decor she provided absolutely exceeded my expectations and made our wedding look absolutely amazing!

Erika was super responsive, friendly, and super easy to work with which made the whole planning process so stress free!

Garden State provided about a dozen arrangements, varying in size, for my vow renewal. The flowers were just gorgeous. They were very large for the prices. Teal vases were not available (I gave them short notice) so they made sure to wrap the vases in ribbon of that color as a substitute. I had so many complements on the flowers and they were a great accent. I'd use Garden State for anything in the future.

Erika is an excellent florist! She is professional, accommodating, down to earth, and a pleasure to work with. Our wedding flowers from Garden State Floral were stunning and lasted all day throughout the ceremony, limo rides, pictures, the reception, etc...and the centerpiece flowers kept beautifully overnight and were used for brunch the next morning! Erika answers all emails and phone calls promptly and is flexible to meet her client's needs. I had a few add-on's to our order here and there as we neared our wedding date and every change I chose to make was welcomed and accommodated. I was impressed with how she remembered every single component of my order, even with the few changes we had made. My husband and I met with a few different florists before meeting with Erika. Once we did, it was truly a breath of fresh air. Finally we had found a reasonably priced, responsible, dependable florist we could feel confident would make our wedding day beautiful. If you want to save yourself a world of stress and worry...go with Garden State Floral Design. I plan to return there for all my future floral needs!

I was recommended to Garden State Flower Market through a good friend and couldn't be happier. Erika was a pleasure to work with and put me at ease. Every question and email I had was always responded to and our flowers and church decorations were just perfect -- great quality and beautiful. Flowers are such an important part of a wedding, and to complete our wedding vision, my husband and I went with the best. Garden State Flower Market truly elevated our special day beyond belief. We met with Erika on several occasions to discuss the plan and she could not have been more professional and knowledgeable. She made excellent suggestions on arrangements and flowers that I had never even heard of! On our big day, Erika arrived early to set up and ensure that everything was perfect. I used Garden State Flower Market for my wedding flowers. I dealt with Erica who goes above and beyond! She is very talented and a joy to work with! She made helpful suggestions to me, as I have no flower knowledge. I wanted to keep everything clean and simple so we went with a red garden rose bouquet for myself and white garden rose bouquets for my bridesmaids and regular rose bouquets for my mom and MIL. I didn't have a big budget but she made everything work! I didn't want big centerpieces, so we went with a 24 in. vase with 3 roses, 1 short, 1 medium height, and 1 tall rose with a floating candle on top. They came out beautiful and she suggested to add votive candles and red rose petals on the tables to bring everything together. She also did 2 fall flower arrangements on top of pillars for the outside ceremony. Everything turned out just beautiful! Her creatitivy is beyond what most can think of!

Erika was an absolute pleasure to work with from my very first web contact to delivery. She created the bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres for our October 12 farm/winery wedding. Erika was wonderful! When she did the mock up I wasn't happy with the colors and she fixed it right away. The Chuppah was made of tulle and crystals and it was exactly how I had pictured it! The bouquets and Buttonnaires were vibrant and colorful with my colors and it looked wonderful. Erika was terrific and helpful and responded when I had questions.

Erica and the entire staff of Garden State were beyond amazing. My flowers were better than I could've dreamed! When they arrived the day of my wedding I could not stop staring at them! Erika has the patience of a Saint! Changed my mind a zillion times about my flowers, she even helped me zipper my gown bc no one was to be found! I can't even begin to describe how beautiful my flowers were! Garden State Flower Market is a reputable and amazing flower vendor. I had people come up to me during the wedding asking to touch the flowers because they couldn't believe they were real. That's how beautiful they looked. The quality, responsiveness and overall experience were worthy of the 5-stars I'm giving them. I was a little hesitant at first because I didn't know anyone who had done their flowers with GArden State. I had an idea for a color scheme that I had not seen done anywhere before. I brought it to Erika after having a previous florist tell me in so many words my idea was not possible and she made it more beautiful than even I imagined. The girl's bouquets were gorgeous and mine was incredible. I did not want any particular flowers so I gave Erika creative control and she did a great job picking out flowers that complement our bouquets for the centerpieces. Everyone was very impressed with their work... even the guys! Definitely would recommend!

I would highly recommend this florist to anyone and everyone getting married. They are amazingly talented and very accomodating. I went to them with very little knowledge of flowers and they were really helpful in helping me create a "vision". They went above and beyond to make sure my day was perfect.

My favorite part of working with them was when Erika brought the flower for my hair. My hairdresser tried for 15 minutes to figure out how to get it into my hairstyle so it was in there just right. Finally, Erika just said give it to me and within 2 minutes she had it perfectly placed where I wanted it. Everyone in my room was laughing hysterically.

I can't thank them enough for their hard work and the special attention they gave me!

I LOVED MY FLOWERS!!!!!! I had the best vendors, but my photography and flowers were especially wonderful. I was really SICK of planning and I went into Garden State Floral Design and said, I just want a bouquet of burnt orange lilies, and lily arrangements with peruvian lillies (my man is peruvian <3) and orange flower petals on the aisle for the outdoor ceremony. I just asked her to handle it because work, grad school and wedding were just getting to me. The day of I was a little nervous because I had given such little direction, but there was never ever a reason to worry. My bouquet was GORGEOUS, the tables looked great, and she went the extra mile with the aisle petals, I was so grateful, I ran up and hugged her! Garden State did an amazing job on our wedding flowers. We absolutely loved our flowers and they were even more beautiful than we imagined them to be. When we peaked in our reception room before everyone came upstairs, we were in awe!

Also, Erika and her staff were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were all so friendly and soooo helpful. They were so down-to-earth but at the same time absolutely amazing desingers and artists. I was so nervous about working with a florist and them understanding my vision but as soon as I met Erika all of my concerns went away. They created designs for us that nobody at my wedding (nor myself) had ever seen before. We wanted something really different and exotic and they took it to a level that I didn't even know was possible. I can not sing their praises enough!

Bouquets for Bride, Bridesmaids and Flower girl, as well as Church pieces and arrangements for the venue, were beautifully done, in exactly the flowers & colors we needed. Delivery was on-time at home, Church and venue. Price came in more than 50% less than either of the other florists we consulted, for the same items.
Only issues were: Mother of the Bride had given owner [Erika McCabe] her Rosary beads to be wrapped around base of Bride's bouquet - not done, despite repeated reminders. Owner apologized profusely and had them delivered to our home next day. Also, flowers began to fade by next morning, even though they were refrigerated & watered immediately. BUT...that is probably more a function of the 95 degree heat and 90% humidity on the wedding day [Aug. 4, 2012]. All in all, very pleased with their work. The owner is VERY professional and accomodating.
Nothing fancy about their shop - you can see that the $$$ and efforts go into the FLOWERS, not the showroom.

I was a little hesitant when I first went to choose my flowers because I originally worked with someone else there, but they left and some crazy story. But, I felt confident in Erica and her ability and stuck with Garden State. I could not have been more please. The flowers were amazing!! She was able to get me flowers that I had previously been told would be out of season.

The service was amazing. They even called several weeks prior to the wedding to double check that the order was exactly what I wanted. I was so impressed, everything turned out better than I could have expected.

Erica was great to work with. I had originally booked with the Purple Iris, but they were just detering me from the things that I wanted and telling me that several items were out of season, which I knew to be incorrect since I had them growing in my own garden! Erica gave me everything that I had asked the Purple Iris for at about 1/3 the cost!! The only bad things were that she forgot the boutinneires for my ushers and the shades of certain flowers were not quite what I wanted. Oh yeah, she forgot to change the ribbon color for my maid of honor, but again, it wasn't a big deal.

I was recommended Garden State Floral Design by a very close family friend when I initially started the search for a florist for our wedding. Erika was warm and welcoming, and helped me build a list of various floral arrangements for on our big day. When our wedding day finally arrived, Erika was punctual and showed up to our home to drop off all of our bouquets as well as the boutonnieres' for the groomsmen and the groom. That was when my initial wave of disappointment set in; we had agreed that the bridesmaid's bouquets were supposed to be "white footballs and purple carnations," but I instead received white footballs and cranberry red carnations. The groomsmen's boutonniere's were also supposed to be purple, however were the same shade of cranberry red in the girl's bouquets. This might not have been such a big deal, had my bridal bouquet not had actual purple roses tied in. Thus, I ended up with bridesmaids bouquets that contained cranberry red carnations, and didn't match either the color scheme of yellow and purple or the bridesmaid's yellow dresses at all... Furthermore, we also agreed that the centerpieces would be "large balls of babies breath to go in Eiffel tower vases." I showed Erika the vases I intended on buying and providing her with during our initial meeting when we made floral selections, and she said that this wouldn't be a problem. We ended up receiving bundles of babies breath that were sparse on the sides, and didn't resemble spheres at all.
The most disappointing part however, is that I did reached out to Erika the day after the wedding to let her know how disappointed I was with both of the above mentioned issues, and all she could say (in so many words) was that both issues were a miscommunication on her part and that she should've been more thorough in discussing my expectations.

While the flower arrangements were gorgeous upon delivery, ( bouquets , boutineers , corsages and sweetheart table ) they did not last til the ceremony. My bridal bouquet as well as the bridesmaids were shriveled up before we even walked down the aisle. The boutineers and corsages fell apart and didn't even make it to the reception.

So disappointed with the service and quality of flowers especially since I had read such wonderful reviews and was referred by a friend. I initially was not thrilled with Erica for the first consultation because I was hoping for more advice and insight than what was offered. However I was only ordering bouquets and boutonnieres which all consisted mainly of roses (suggested by her since the flowers I wanted were not in season at the time of my wedding) so I figured how can I go wrong especially since I've heard and read positive things. The day of the wedding the flowers were browning shortly after delivery and petals were already falling off and the flowers were opening. The bouquets were sloppily put together; they were loose with the stems extremely long and all uneven beyond where the ribbon bound them together. When my bridesmaid called, the response was well pale colored and white flowers are going to brown.....This was unacceptable. My brother had to bring the flowers back to the florist to have them fixed up. We didn't have flowers for any of the pictures taken at the house because by the time they were sent back the limo was there to pick us up. Erica did fix the flowers up and sprayed them so they would last longer. The flowers were very expensive, especially for the plain rose bouquets and nosegays. The convenience and quality of flowers is what I expected to be paying for. Otherwise my grandmother who is very talented at flower arrangement could have went out and bought flowers that morning and put together better looking bouquets. My mom was worried about the stress that would cause but hiring a professional turned out to be more stressful. Flowers of course didn't ruin the day but it was frustrating plus Erica has yet to follow up regarding the situation despite the hundreds of dollars spent on some brown roses.
